AJ was usually good with faces yet currently there was quite some amount of alcohol already buzzing in his system to add on top of the dim light in the nightclub that it took him some time to recognize the woman. Faun Adventure

Leave it to me to begin exploring Second Life and ending up with a flare up followed by some kind of weird stomach bug that has decided to linger for the last few days. I have no idea why my body is the way it is. Anyways, before my flare up, I stopped by The Warehouse event after hearing they were giving away this Faun Gazela head thanks to BeSpoke. Isn't it the coolest thing? I had the head on when I threw on this outfit and thought I looked adorable so I went with it. [also i painted the background in the first image because i was bored + in bed & the hair initially gave me transparency issues on the closeup, i assume because of my viewer or sl being sl]

Among my adventures, I randomly ended up at an event (I suck I don't know what it was & i think i was lost) but I only caught the end of it and there was this amazing singer by the name of Merryjest Starchild and I was blown away by their voice. I didn't even know I could like opera, but here we are. I've gone to hear them sing twice now. I also stopped by some art exhibits and it gave me so much nostalgia. I used to do that all the time!

Today was the third day of competition at the Trophee Metropole Nice Cote d'Azur.

The Senior competitions began today.

Adam Siao Him Fa of France leads the Men event. Oxana Vouillamoz and Flavien Giniaux of France lead the Pairs event. Sofia Val and Asaf Kazimov lead the Ice Dance event.

Renegade AU Lore Dump: SB Ending comics.

The comics in the endings as comics themselves exist in the Renegade AU because Gregory drew them.

After the events of Ruin, Gregory's mind is a mess from the continuation of the clone 46 experiments and the use of the skill that getting possessed by Evan grants him. He’s seen Ness get freed, he’s seen her get torn to shreds, he’s seen her ALMOST get torn to shreds, he’s seen Freddy body slam her off a roof, he saw someone grab her before she could fall, he’s seen what happens if he just ran away, he thinks he may have stolen a van, he saw underneath the megaplex, was he there alone or were 30 people there with him with their own fights.

All he remembers for certain is that at one point, it all converges into Freddy and himself running away, running out from the depths of the megaplex.

Stars denote how close to the truth he is with each attempt at remembering the truth.

Runaway ending is 1 star? He can’t be further from the facts.

Afton ending is 2 stars? He’s remembering what happened at the end of the Raid. He needs to focus on the breach.

Fire escape ending 2 stars? Raid again kid. He’s forgetting about Sylvia saving Ness too.

Vanny ending 2 stars? Well his failed recall did have this happen and Cassey has this recorded, and Glitchtrap tried to use the staffbots to ‘disassemble Vanny’ himself and Gregory had to use the panel to save Ness by calling “apprehend Vanny”, but that’s the false memory from Evan’s skill plus the real events of the raid.

Loading docks 2 stars? Oxana’s van was a prominent part of the raid and the ladies did keep Gregory updated on Freddy’s repairs when he was out of order. Maybe he did a recall at one point to see what would have happened. Maybe his mind is mixing up the breach with Oxana driving him and Ness back to their temporary accommodation post-Raid, but once again, his mind is taking the raid out of context and inserting it into the breach.

Princess Quest ending is 3 stars? Almost everything is correct, except for one thing.

What was that difference between PQ ending and reality?

Ness and Gregory never got that ice cream.

Also he forgot about Sylvia, and the west wing of the building going kaboom, but if he didn’t draw getting ice cream and ended it right there before Sylvia runs up to meet them, he’d have been spot on.

If you’re wondering how Freddy is his full self by the end of the raid, Oxana and co repair him after Team A find his body in fazerblast. He then tries to push Ness off the roof and gets repaired by Oxana and her squad AGAIN. Finally he gets airdropped into the old restaurant so the crew have something to take the heat during the 'fight' against Afton (that is more akin to the koi-koi scene from summer wars).

And then Freddy gets obliterated at the start of prelude of ruin. Gregory and Sylvia get captured, escape, find Ness, get captured again, and this is where the Clone 46 experiments continue and mess up his brain, making him forget the truth.

PLOT DROP

In an effort to prove herself to the serpents, Seraphina gave up the location to the Ghost Rider Club house. Since then a raid was in the works. After her untimely death, an elite team of Serpent and Crimsons went forward with the attack. Griffin Gallo covered on his sniper while Donovan Walsh hacked into the security system and ran coms and surveillance. Dante, Ludovica, Hunter, Rosa, Mira, Liam, Kaan, Rhys, and Lorenzo infiltrated the clubhouse and brought devastation along for the ride.

TIMELINE OF THE RAID

While enjoying dinner, all was perfect. Suddenly glass shattered and Remi's body hit the floor, a bullet between the eyes. He was hit with a bullet from Griffin, a sniper.

The room burst into chaos as the front entrance to the clubhouse was kicked down.

Dante lead the first team, entering the dinning room and killing a prospect within seconds.

Julien was hit next by Hunter O'Connor. Julian took a bullet to the side of his abdomen, but nothing major hit. Brooklyn who was nearby, dragged him out the door in the upper side of the dining room into the hall. While this happened, the tables were being flipped for cover.

Zak and Oxana were closest to the kitchen, focused on the back half of the room as Ludovica and a small team came through the back door. Catching Zak off guard, he jumped to cover his daughter and took a bullet in the back, losing consciousness a minute later.

During that time, Devran was able to wound Liam who was a part of the front team. The aim was for Miray, but Liam jumped in front and took a bullet to the side.

Also from the back door, Lorenzo put a bullet in Reyan, and Derin was right there to watch it happen. She stayed with him, refusing to leave but being a shot to the non-dominant shoulder he was able to continue to defend her and the people.

With the help of some prospects, they were able to get Sophia out from under Zak and she went with Jason and Dilan. Jason started to formulate and lead an escape.

While protecting his body, Oxana was able to graze Rosa in the arm. Another ghost rider and society member were aiding in protecting Zak but each soon met death at the hands of Kaan and Rhys.

Miray had two society members locked down, the first hitting the floor. While not intentionally aiming for Gabriel, he got in the way of her target and was met with her bullet.

While protecting Dilan and Sophia, Jason was able to get out through the kitchen door, killing the last serpent that stood in the way between them and safety. A few of the other members of the society and Ghost riders were able to follow them out.

Being impressed with their work and the growing sounds of sirens, the raiders took the opportunity to escape through the front, taking their wounded with them.

"Fuck..." Jason trailed as Brooklyn recounted what she knew. Oxana hit. Freddie MIA. His jaw tightened automatically, replaying the events that led up to this very moment in his mind. No matter how he spun it, he had come up short, too caught up in his own shit to sniff out a threat before it was too late.

Rubbing his temple with his free hand, his attention fell back to his cell phone, eying it quickly before eying the heels that nearly had Brooklyn stumbling over again. "And you should really get a new pair of those." He repeated her words back to her, ignoring just how good she looked in them to contemplate his next move.

"But I'm gunna go to the hospital now." Jason decided, fighting the urge to act on a whim. He figured it was best to check in, see what Remi wanted him to do— them to do. At the end of the day, they were both in the MC, and so he extended the offer to Brooklyn. "You want a lift?"

Brooklyn had seen him in worse shape, perks of the job. And his fighting hobby he loved so much. She always thought he looked sexy all roughed up and edgy. "Okay." She finally said, believing him. She couldn't have anything happen to him, she couldn't loose him too. This night proved to be rough enough for the ghost riders

"Oh right, yeah." She said taking a step back and stumbling slightly, but catching herself. She was a minute away from just walking barefoot. "Oxana... she was hit. They are taking her to the hospital and Griffin Gallo, he's dead I think. There are mixed stories about his state, but he was in the alley when we came out.

So much bloodshed and for what? It could have been any of them on those stretchers tonight and she would remember that. She was being difficult and drunk when she should have been more aware. "I think Remi is at the hospital....Freddie is MIA and I don't enough about Serafina to keep dabs on the cunt." she said taking another glance at his phone, "You really need to get a new one of those, grandpa."

Indo Russia Film and Cultural Forum Celebrates Russian Language Day

Noida, June 9, 2023 – The Indo Russia Film and Cultural Forum, in collaboration with the Asian Academy of Film and Television and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, proudly celebrated Russian Language Day at Marwah Studios Film City in Noida.

The event saw the participation of Oxana Y Romanchuk, a former journalist and current tourism consultant, and Konstantin Gotchakov, a respected businessman from Russia. Together, they unveiled a specially designed poster as a gesture of respect for this auspicious occasion.

Russian Language Day, observed annually on June 6th, is an initiative established by UNESCO in 2010 and recognized by the United Nations. This significant date coincides with the birthday of Alexander Pushkin, a revered Russian poet often regarded as the founder of modern Russian literature. The purpose of this commemoration is to promote equal recognition and appreciation for all six official languages of the UN: English, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and French. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair for Indo Russia Film and Cultural Forum, highlighted the importance of this initiative in fostering cultural understanding and embracing linguistic diversity.

The Asian Unity Alliance lent their support to the event, further emphasizing the significance of cultural collaboration. International Consultant Yogesh Mittal and Mrs. Mittal also graced the occasion, adding to the spirit of the celebration.

A night away from Sophia wasn't so bad. Of course, she begged Zak to bring her along, haunted houses are for babies anyway. Her words, not his. But even as he explained it was an adult event, she pouted and stomped to her room for the sitter to deal with. All his easygoing parenting style biting him in the ass. "Bringing a pumpkin home for the boys?" Zak asked as he searched for the perfect one to gift Sophia. They could carve it together in the morning with Oxana.

McKinley took a seat in one of the armed chairs, she liked being close to her clients, being able to hear them better and understand. Also, it was intimidating talking to someone behind a desk. "It's lovely to meet you both, my brothers had only good things to say." She said with a bright smile. She knew this probably wasn't easy or comfortable with everything that happened so she took no offense to Oxana's tone. Kinny needed to build up trust, she knew that. "It's okay, this is a new and scary experience for everyone. It's not easy coming in here and opening up, the first step is coming through that door." She said with a smile. "I'll start and introduce myself and a little about me and you can both share some things about you guys as well." She took a pause. "My name is McKinley, you can call me that if you'd like. This is a safe space so we don't need any formalities." The title of a doctor could be a lot for someone so young. "I am a psychiatrist who specializes in big and tough feelings after very big and scary events." She was using words Sophia would understand. "Aside from that, I have a cute little dog named Cleo, and my favorite thing to do is go to the park with Cleo. I also really love dancing and was a dancer/cheerleader/gymnast back when I was young like you. Lastly, I am visually impaired so I can't see you, so if you have anything you want me to know, we can describe it and just let me know if you are reaching out or handing me something." She gestures over to the side table. "And there are some small fidget toys you can play with while you are here and talking. Do you wanna go next, Sophia?"

ALLEGENCES ASIDE, OXANA HAS always liked mckinley. at least, what she knew of her. both of her brothers were amongst the ghost rider ranks. thus, she allows her shoulders to ease, even if it's just for a second with her recommendation. there was no way in hell that oxana was going to let sophia near a crimson, no matter the last name. not after the raid, not after remi ended up dead. that had been her initial thought process. zak of course had been reassuring about the entire thing, and the knowledge that she wouldn't be leaving sophia alone allowed her to be far more receptive to the idea. mom. even if she knew sophia called her the newfound name with such confidence, hearing it made her heart beat just a bit faster. " oxana. " the blonde introduces herself -- her usual accidental chill with strangers showing through just a tad. but, she is soon reminded why she's here. for the little girl holding her hand, almost scared to let go. " thank you for seeing us... i'm a bit new to this, so please feel free to let me know if i'm overstepping. " she takes a seat on the couch, gesturing for sophia to take a seat next to her. I once dedicated this song to my mother, and when the war broke out, the song took on a lot of new meanings.

Although there is not a word about the war in the song, many people began to associate the song with mother Ukraine. Moreover, society began to call it the anthem of our war!

But if Stefania is now the anthem of our war, I would like it to become the anthem of our victory.

This film is based on true events during the military aggression in Ukraine in 2022.

The NRW Trophy concluded this weekend.

Israel won both Senior singles events, with Lev Vinokur winning Men's and Mariia Seniuk winning Women's. Oxana Vouillamoz and Tom Bogart of Switzerland and Louise Erhard and Matthis Pellegris of France won the Senior & Junior Pairs events. Charise Matthei and Max Leibers of Germany and Diana Mouaden and Theo Bigot of France won the Senior & Junior Ice Dance events.

Novice events also took place.

Thinking of Oxana Malaya (PLEASE READ)

CONTENT/TRIGGER WARNING: mentions of violent current events, neglect and some ableism.

My thoughts are with the people of Ukraine after and during the terrible Russian invasion there, but I have also not forgotten this woman who is one of the most vulnerable people there.

This is Oxana Malaya. Some of you have probably heard of her before. She’s commonly known as “the Dog Girl of Ukraine” because of her famous dog-like behaviour — a nickname which she has said offends her. Oxana was born in November 1983 in the village of Novaya Blagoveshchenka. The most common version of her story, which is the version still often passed around today, goes that one night when she was three years old, her alcoholic parents forgot her outside the house and that she sought shelter with a pack of wild dogs near her house. The story continues that Oxana was found still living with the dogs five years later at age eight, unable to speak or walk and instead crawling on all fours and barking. Some accounts with fabricated and exaggerated details published in tabloids claimed that she ate raw meat and when hurt would whine the way a dog might because she literally couldn’t cry. It has even been said that at the schools and orphanages Oxana was sent to, the nurses who had a fear of dogs were afraid of her too because she sounded and behaved so much like a real dog.

Although it took several years, Oxana was rehabilitated and socialised into human behaviour. She can draw, but is unable to read or write; and she learned to speak fluently, which is a rarity for most people who go through prolonged first-language deprivation since they usually end up not being able to use correct grammar or syntax or even master either at all. Although she was taught that barking instead of speaking is socially inappropriate, her caregivers suspected that she still did bark as well as crawl on all fours when in private. Oxana now lives at the Baraboi Clinic in or near Odessa, a group home for disabled adults that has its own farm where they can do work. In 2003, when Oxana was almost 20, a Portuguese documentary crew visited her and filmed her demonstrating her former behaviour for them. The video went viral on the early 2000s internet, which is how some of you may have heard of her, but, although she ultimately recovered, the experience did cause Oxana to regress for a time. Then in 2006, when Oxana was 23, a British child psychologist, Dr. Lynn Fry, visited her to perform an assessment on her. Although Dr. Fry said that she was warned that Oxana could “fly off the handle” and was “very uncooperative and socially inept” (note: Oxana is not autistic), once she met her she was surprised at Oxana’s intelligence and development. She concluded that Oxana had the “cognitive ability” of a five or six year old and likely wouldn’t progress much further (note: I don’t believe in mental age), that she also had the drawing skills of a five or six year old child, and that she had a sophisticated enough grasp of language to understand prepositions, although she speaks “flatly, as though it’s an order” and that “there is no cadence or rhythm or music to her speech, no inflection or tone.” Dr. Fry also added that Oxana loves to be the center of attention and to make people laugh. Oxana’s doctors have said that she would be unable to survive independently. At the same time as Dr. Fry’s visit, Oxana was reunited with her father and met her younger sister for the first time. She has said that it is her life’s dream to someday find and meet her mother.

In 2012, a British anthropologist, Dr. Mary Ann Ochota (shown above with Oxana), flew to Ukraine to investigate the truth of Oxana’s story. While there, Dr. Ochota found that there were no dogs living near Oxana’s childhood house at the time she lived there, that she was taken from her parents by the state as a toddler, and that she grew up in orphanages. At that time orphanages in Ukraine often had dogs on the premises, and Oxana preferred spending time with the dogs. One of her teachers from one of the orphanages recalled that Oxana tried to bark and move like the dogs, that she seemed to be trying to genuinely communicate with them and even confide in them, and that if she got hungry while feeding the dogs she would put her face on the plate and eat the food like how a dog would. Experts believe she spent so much time with the dogs and began imitating them as a way to cope with the trauma of suddenly being placed in an unfamiliar environment. Oxana spent her teenage years in a series of schools until she finally arrived at Baraboi. As of 2013, she had a new boyfriend, although her previous boyfriend (if not the same one) broke up with her after she showed him her former behaviour. She loves taking care of the animals on the farm and has come to see herself as fully human and wants others to see her as such “in spite of her upbringing”.

Please do not forget Oxana or the other disabled people in Ukraine. They are especially vulnerable during the current situation, and it’s terrifying to think what could happen to them. I hope that luck will be on their side and that the overall situation may be resolved soon and with as little violence as possible, although that seems extremely unlikely.
