User Saiscribbles is a malicious liar

Perhaps I ought to preface this with a clarifying remark: user @Saiscribbles also known as @PurpleDemonLilyPosting MAY be a malicious liar, however there are also other alternatives that they may be instead which shall be elaborated on within.

To begin, this user has initially come forward with a very serious claim: They have received direct messaging from a now-deleted user "l4ffyp1n3" containing racially motivated hate speech.

As seen above, rather immediately, with no further investigation, user purpledemonlilyposting set the blame upon user Taffer.

Their rationale?

Said message incorporated the usage of text-based emoticons, and that's it. No further evidence is forthcoming aside from the use of emoticons.

I ought not have to discuss the reasoning as to why this excuse is as insubstantial and deficient as it is, but nevertheless I shall do so:

The usage of text-based emoticons is not exclusive to one individual

The usage of text-based emoticons is easily replicated

Both points are significant enough to cast serious doubt onto the claims without further investigation. Given that no other evidence was provided by this user, it should immediately raise red flags regarding their poor (absent) use of irrefutable evidence in order to make a serious allegation.

Indeed, user Taffer has also stated in a now-deleted post that they acknowledge it could have even been sent by user purpledemonlilyposting, however due to the lack of evidence they chose not to make that assumption.

User Taffer has also immediately denied the usage of such derogatory vocabulary, stating that they do not use hate speech.

At this surface-level evidence, there is naught that can be confidently claimed to either side. The ghastly lack of actual evidence provided by Saiscribbles is apparent, and we now have the word of another that it is naught but libelous misattribution.

With the inability to seek out in-depth information on this deleted account responsible for the hate-messages, as well as the inability to reach out and converse with this user in person, we are left with one last option to assess the most likely truth: Seeking patterns of behavior.

Upon an in-depth analysis of all of the posts created by user Taffer, the usage of derogatory hate speech has been documented a total of 0 times.

Across any known accounts, there has been not a single instance of racially driven hate speech of any form, nor speech that derides the disabled, religious, or disabled.

To prove a negative is a rather daunting task, so all who are skeptical of this claim are welcome to verify it for themselves. There has been no case of hate-speech utilized anywhere.

From this, we can conclude that the sudden usage of hate-speech would appear far out-of-character, and text-based emoticons aside, would greatly imply with a higher degree of confidence that the user who has sent race-based hate speech is not the same individual as user Taffer.

However, we are also able to assess the speech patterns of the individual who started to make such bold claims in the first place.

As we can see from the above evidence, user SaiScribbles, also known as Purpledemonlilyposting, has a much more significant history of using derogatory language towards others. Such evidence has been documented by many individuals and many of these messages are presently located on their Twitter account and are easily verifiable.

From this, the pattern of behavior far more greatly leans in favor of this user being the individual to message themselves and others with the race-based hate speech.

In addition, we see the usage of text-based emoticons. Not unlike what was used in the inflammatory messages in question. Despite their only claim being that user Taffer was responsible due to the utilization of emoticons, it appears user Saiscribbles is also just as capable and willing to utilize such.

However, I am not here to point the finger at user Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting as the one who is responsible for the act.

While the pattern of behavior is significantly in favor of them being more likely to utilize the derogatory language as opposed to user Taffer, we still must accept the reality of the matter that is we do not have sufficient information to state conclusively who is responsible for the hate-speech messaged to different users.

This leads me to my ultimate conclusion on the probable malice of user Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting:

Based on the information provided, we can confidently rule out user Taffer as the individual responsible for the hate-speech. The evidence presented is definitively lacking any substance that cannot be easily replicated by any other individual, and the stated pattern of behavior which is also verifiable by others does not correlate to the actions taken by the now deleted "l4ffyp1n3".

And yet despite this, user Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting has, with regularity, pushed forward the narrative that user Taffer was the individual responsible for the messages.

We can thus conclude one of the following possibilities:

User Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting is woefully ignorant of how to interpret information and draw any meaningful and unbiased analysis from any evidence presented.

User Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting is deeply ignorant of how to interpret patterns of behavior but chooses to utilize a flimsy argument regardless in order to push a narrative that allows them to target the character of a critic of theirs.

User Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting understands how feeble of an argument they presented happens to be and chooses to weaponize it anyways in an effort to maliciously target the character of their critic.

User Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting is fully aware that the source of the hate-speech is a different individual and chooses to place the blame on user Taffer regardless, as it allows them a chance to target their character and discredit them.

User Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting is responsible for the hate-speech in question and is deliberately forcing a libelous narrative to deride and attack the character of their critic.

Each of these scenarios, based on the pattern of their speech alone, is significantly more likely than their own initial claim they continue to present as fact to this day.

As for which of these conclusions is the correct one, none but they can say for certain. I would certainly hope that it is a case of egregious ignorance and lack of understanding of how to read speech patterns and investigate matters prior to making a serious allegation.

Such a conclusion would be humiliating to admit to as an adult, but far better than the alternative of planned and intentional malice.

Given the available information on this matter, regardless of the intent, user Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting is a liar, and cannot be trusted to be speaking the truth in any authority on this matter, as their "evidence" can hardly be considered as such, substandard and effectively nonexistent as it is. Rather, it is akin to a schoolyard gossip mill, deliberately inciting hatred and violence towards one individual for no reason other than to isolate, intimidate, and harass another.

There is no evidence of user Taffer being one to use hate-speech, and an overabundance of evidence showing user Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting far more likely and willing to do so instead.

On this matter, Saiscribbles/Purpledemonlilyposting is a liar, and their word should be discredited.

Do not believe them on this matter.

There any many contentious points that must be addressed here, and so I will do so to the best of my ability. Needless to say, the abhorrent stance taken by user bruce-boinkers-69 is repulsive, I will nevertheless attempt to discuss why their remarks are grossly incorrect, as well as deeply bigoted in nature without colouring my words with my disgust.

Naturally, user bruce-boinkers-69 will most likely not engage with the following at all, given their history of vitriol towards all who oppose their actions and words.

Firstly, the terminology used:

Regarding other humans as "illegal" or "illegals" is a primary case of dehumanization. User bruce-boinkers-69; the more appropriate term is "undocumented".

To address people as "illegal" is improper and falls under racist ideologies due to the nature of the word: it frames all such people with the connotation of criminality and thusly exploits the hatred and fear ignorant masses have of the Other.

You create a negative association with violence and criminality where none exist and thus perpetuate a cycle of violence and hatred against a marginalized class of people.

Secondly, the framing:

User bruce-boinkers-69 is a prime example of the perpetuation of fearmongering and radicalization tactics employed by the far right.

"people who come across the border into my country without taking the proper steps to integrate into my countries culture and customs"

It is of import to note that such regulations of immigrations have been in place only within the past 100 years; prior to this, immigration such as what user bruce-boinkers-69 is vividly imagining was perfectly acceptable and a normal aspect of life. Furthermore, claiming the country as "theirs" erases the history of the indigenous people, of which they most certainly take advantage of and benefit from the violent theft of land and genocide from.

People are alive today that are immigrants or first-generation children of immigrants who have known a free border with no such vitriolic rhetoric as theirs.

Again, this terminology is specifically chosen to illicit a negative connotation with immigrants. The verbiage is intended to provoke a sense of criminality and impending fear, not unlike the tactics utilized by the radical right.

Thirdly,

"and using what’s supposed to be my resources"

Pray tell, of what resources do you refer, user bruce-boinkers-69? Social security? Undocumented people do not receive such. If you are concerned, you need look only to your current leadership in wonder of where it is being funneled.

Jobs? Certainly, I believe you must truly wish for the same jobs that many undocumented immigrants pick up, yes? You wish to work in construction, agriculture, warehouses? No? Perhaps you believe it to be other jobs?

Perhaps your ire is better reserved for the corporations who choose to hire people they more easily take advantage of to earn more profit than your fellow human being, yes?

Do tell, what "resources" do you believe these people are erroneously "stealing" from you? Such clarity will never be provided. This rhetoric, after all, depends on obfuscation of logic through vague fear.

Fourthly,

"they then proceeded to be criminals and cartel members."

Ahh here we go, the heart of the matter. A prime example of the violent language of hate spewed forth by those who are supremely ignorant, particularly racist, or of the higher echelon aiming to pit lower-class civilians against each other to conceal the true villain depriving others of wealth and dignity. Which one is user bruce-boinkers-69, I wonder?

To clarify my point, this is again another clear-cut case of the utilization of criminality to spark fear of the Other. To proclaim all immigrants as dangerous criminals to be feared and ostracized.

And yet, if pressed, this user will not have the capacity to support this wild claim. They have no means of which to supply data to verify to others that immigrants are dangerous people.

Because they are not.

Fifthly,

Take particular note of user bruce-boinker-69's terminology: "Cartels" It takes little imagination to discern what they are truly implying with their harmful language of "illegals". They do not truly mean all undocumented immigrants, only those that are of darker complexion from central and south America. That is where the heart of the problem lies to them, after all. "Criminals" and "cartels", words associated with Hispanic immigrants.

What this user fails to realize, or is blatantly ignoring, is that undocumented immigration comes from all parts of the world: Asia, the pacific islands, the Caribbean, Europe, Canada. Are we to believe all these people are also criminals part of the Cartel?

Surely not. After all, this user doesn't mean those immigrants.

Only the ones they associate with the cartel: Hispanic immigrants.

And therein lies the heart of the matter:

Every word and phrase spun by this user is drawn from an inherently racist origin. They mean to imply criminality specifically with immigrants from Central America, of which their hatred is indirectly focused.

They obfuscate their hatred with well-known racist rhetoric; "illegals", "stealing resources", "cartels", "invading", oft in an effort to provide plausible deniability over accusations of racism, but the evidence is quite clear.

Make no doubts about it: the very essence of each of these phrases spewed from the vile mouth of this user come from deeply racist origins.

To fall into the trappings of hateful propaganda spun by the radical far Right can feel shameful. I am certain many people have fallen into the same beliefs, as it is by design.

However, it is important to understand that knowing the intent of these words is a critical step towards unlearning the damage. Towards treating other humans with respect and dignity, and avoid the beginnings of systematic racism, segregation, and genocide.

User bruce-boinkers-69, however, will likely dig their heels in on the matter.

A shame, but at the very least, perhaps others can learn from their failings and avoid repeating such deplorable rhetoric in the future.

I know people like to dunk on her but seriously do not give Bruce the time of day. She's a racist asshole.

As the topic of Dragon Age floats to the surface with regularity, I find it to be a decent enough time to put down my own thoughts regarding the series as a whole.

Or rather, a particular aspect of it that I find contentious and lacking.

Note: I have played all three games thus far, and my opinion on the series is that it's adequate. Enjoyable enough to play, decent number of positive aspects. A very passable series.

One particular feature I find distasteful, particularly arising in Inquisition and appearing to become more prominent in Veilguard is thus: the portrayal of religion and the coding behind it.

We can primarily see that the main religions are that of Andrastrianism of course, being analogous to the real world Christianity. We also notably see the depictions of the Dalish elves' gods (more similar to paganism or other comparatively smaller religions), and that of the Avvar's beliefs. There are others, of course, but as the primary focus tends towards the Dalish pantheon and Andrastrianism, I'll settle my focus there.

It is commonly accepted that the Dalish and City elves bear particularly strong coding for Romani peoples as well as a mashup of Indigenous cultures from the Americas.

From this alone, it becomes a severe problem: the existence of the Elven gods are repeatedly brought into question, their culture was torn down by dialogue in Inquisition, and the gods are revealed to not be gods at all. The meaning of the vallaslin are revealed to be borne from slavery.

While such a story, in isolation, is not inherently bad, that Andrastrianism is heavily Christianity-coded is what brings discomfort to the table.

The existence of the Maker is never brought into question, disproved, or otherwise shown to be a charade or falsehood. A character can reject this belief, of course, but there is nothing that disproves it such as what instead occurs to the religious beliefs of the Elves, Avvar, and others.

That the most massive religious majority, taking clear inspiration from Christianity, is not also held to the same standards and brought into question like that of those analogous to Indigenous/Romani people's beliefs is where Dragon Age as a story and setting truly fails.

It demonstrates an inherent bias towards the socially accepted majority religion of Western Christianity, whilst scorning the beliefs of others who are so evidently coded as persecuted minorities.

This is by no means the only one of the flaws in Dragon Age, but it is very significant. One that I'm not entirely sure can be repaired unless there is a serious overhaul in the people responsible for writing the story.

That said, on a separate tangent, I am greatly fond of the Avvar, their culture, and their beliefs. I do wish we could experience them more.

Something very random and kind of sweet I was thinking of was boardgames at Wayne Manor. Once Martha and Thomas died, they kind of got tossed aside or locked up in their old room, untouched for years until Dick Grayson showed up. And Bruce digs out this half rotted away bits and pieces set of Ludo or something and they invent some of the tokens needed. As more and more kids join up, the pieces get swapped and changed and some are bits of gadgets, or touristy knickknacks. Everyone has a favourite colour and very particular alliances and the mishmash boardgame has a place in Bruce's study where everyone knows to find it.

One individual carrying the bare minimum standards of not releasing private information does not erase the reality of the matter. The vast majority of these individuals who thrive in the spaces of these few prominent figures, as well as those few people in question, are shown to be demonstrably hypocritical in their actions.

They cry foul when their information is presented, but remain silent when it is done to others.

They spread lies and false information, and remain silent or double down when proven wrong.

Whilst there are surely people with their heads clear enough to question such behaviors, on the whole, there is but an air of violence and disregard for the human beings behind the screen of any deemed to be Lesser.

Doesn't surprise me at all that all those people who were making a big stink about you posting their easy to find socials are suddenly dead quiet about you doing the same thing but with lilies server. Are they gloating or quiet on discord?

Mostly quiet. There isn't much way to go about it that doesn't make make them look silly. Either they have to: be vocal to the benefit of Lily and her fans (God forbid), fully choose to take advantage of having this information and admit hypocrisy, or they have to ignore it entirely and also admit hypocrisy. Any option is a bad one.

I already knew which outcome it would be. The outrage was never really about morals, so I fully expected radio silence.
