Some headcannons from this fanfic family

Shoutout to @maxlarens for letting me infodump these onto her

Layla’s favorite uncle/driver is definitely Lando. I feel like personality wise they’re very similar. Very charismatic. On the contrary, Luca’s favorite driver is his dad.

Both of the kids try karting, but Luca doesn’t like it so only Layla gets into F1

Reader doesn’t want the twins to carry the weight of the Verstappen name, and also she doesn’t want her kids named after J*s, so she gives Max the choice of either taking her last name, or they take Max’s mom’s last name. I feel like he would choose for the kids to have Sophie’s last name which once you told her after you gave birth, she definitely cried.

Luca quit karting at a pretty young age, so he has the pretty normal life of graduating from secondary school and going to college. He decides that he wants to become a lawyer (he got his mom’s good negotiation skills). He probably goes to some prestigious college in his mom’s home country and decides that he wants to become an immigration lawyer because he knows that he will never have to worry about money as long as he’s alive.

I see Luca being more reserved than his sister, very shy with strangers and this manifests as being quiet around strangers in his adulthood except in the courtroom where he can get very loud

Max definitely let’s Layla (future wdc) and Luca (boy) know that it’s okay to express your emotions and it’s okay to cry. As @maxlarens said healing his inner child through his children

But I think both Layla and Max understand that if Layla shows any emotion besides like anger, she will be torn apart by the media because

Misogyny

Layla definitely realizes her privilege over other women in motorsports being the daughter of THE Max Verstappen basically guaranteed her a seat when she was old enough

I feel like once he had a daughter in karting, Max becomes a big advocate for women in motorsports because he wants her to have the same opportunities that he had

Did I mention that Layla becomes the first female wdc? I think that really opens the door for women in motorsports

Layla definitely has a hot pink helmet which she helped a female artist create

I like to think that she takes Max’s number, so even if they don’t share a last name, they’re still connected

Layla is definitely pansexual. I feel like it just fits her

I feel like while Layla is quite charismatic, she does have moments where she channels her inner Max and gives the media some snarky remark

Fans go crazy over Layla and Luca because you have this gorgeous woman who’s a world class athlete, and then Luca is just some guy. Just a lawyer, not even a world famous lawyer who makes millions, just some everyday lawyer.

I definitely think Layla and Luca both have a good sense of style. They get it from their mother (and Uncle Lando) because god knows they aren’t learning from Max (reader is definitely Max’s personal stylist and fans rejoice over this)

Layla definitely leans more towards the fem side of the sapphic spectrum, but there are times when she is more butch. Especially when she’s in her fireproofs and stuff. She’s against wearing makeup while driving because she just finds it pointless and it takes up time that could be spent strategizing

santa’s grotto — MV1

a/n: so this has like a teeny bit of elf to it also fitting since max is about to become a dilf. it’s also criminal this is like our only christmas max picture that isnt from <2017

it was the busiest time of year at the store you worked at, your minimum wage job definitely didn't pay you enough for the work you were putting in, and you had never been more exhausted. although you were definitely ready to shred whatever self respect you had left to dress up one of santa's elves at the mall's grotto, as it was extra money on top of what you earned. it was easy enough too, spending your days helping children onto santa's lap, listening to their wish lists, and assisting in keeping the holiday magic alive.

the shopping centre was covered in festive decorations, the centre tree being the highlight of them all, although there were a fee smaller ones dotted around the place, holiday music, and, of course, long lines of parents and excited children eager for their turn at the chance on santa's lap.

despite the long shifts, you loved your job, it was easy money and the atmosphere was joyful, and seeing the kids' faces light up as they spoke to santa was always worth it. it'd been your third year running around as one of the elves, making sure whatever present the kids had asked santa for was reported back to their parent, and this year was just as simple as the other.

you'd heard the buzz from one of your coworkers, layla, about someone famous coming to visit for a charity event in one of the pop up stores visiting for the weekend, singing autographs and taking pictures and she'd been dying to meet them. the name in the back of your mind somewhere but you couldn't quite place it.

you were in the middle of helping a little boy tie his shoes when you noticed the increased amount of people surrounding the little grotto, camera's flashing in the distance gave you an idea on who was about to round the corner. his cap was pulled down across his face, but his team wear still made him stand out like a sore thumb, and his hand held that of a little boy's beside him, shielding him from the onslaught of pictures.

"that's him." you heard layla whisper to you, a small laugh falling from your lips as you watched the way her eyes were on him like a hawk, she was definitely a fan. she was trying to act natural, focusing on the task she had of keeping the children and parents in an organised line, and you took it as an opportunity to look the man over, trying to pinpoint where you'd seen the logo on his shirt but you couldn't quite remember, but as you finally looked at his face you'd been caught, a small smile being sent your way and turned around before causing anymore embarrassment to yourself.

he joined the line like everyone else, layla not so secretly hoping she'd get to take him into santa's grotto and you went in on a rotation one after the other, and as fate had it, you'd gotten him which she'd realised, and you were close to switching with her and you'd seen how her smile dropped upon the realisation when the parent in front complained about how long they were taking to go in.

finally, they were at the front of the queue, the boy beside him with a smile that could light up an entire room, tugging on max's sleeve as he pointed out the strung up decorations. you crouched down beside him, getting down to his level as you spoke to him. "hello there, who might you be?"

"i'm luca!" he smiled at you, so wide you could see the teeth he was missing and it melted your heart, these were the moments that made your job worth it. "this is uncle maxie." he tugged on his sleeve again, forcing the driver down to both of your levels now, and you couldn't help the smile that stretched across your face.

you quickly introduced yourself back to them, taking a look back inside to see if layla was nearly done before turning back to luca and max. "santa's been waiting for you, do you want to come and see him." just as you were trained, you let your hand fall down for him to hold if he wanted, and max flashed you as smile, it was embarrassing how your heart rate picked up at the sight, as his nephew took it, walking into the makeshift cabin.

you led them to santa's chair where his nephew sat down, looking around amazed by the setup, from the warmly decorated tree in the corner to the candy

canes that decorated the room, the smell of gingerbread unavoidable as you entered the grotto. the santa was an older man with a thick white beard,  ready for photos and you couldn't help but feel a little giddy at the thought of seeing max up close, he had a charming aura about him, something with how big of a celebrity that layla had described him to

you as you wouldn't have expected.

"i'm guessing your not just a regular uncle taking his nephew to see santa?" you probed him, one to start a conversation and two to figure out where you actually knew him. you werent the one to take

max let out a small laugh, letting his head tip back and you couldn't help but smile at his reaction, the dimples on full show as he grinned. "you don't know who i am?" he asked and you shook your head. "sorry that came off as a little self important."

you werent the one to take the photo's inside the grotto, that was left to your other coworker danny, who'd been getting luca to take pictures with all sort of faces on them, one's he was sure he'd make his uncle get for him. "i dont think i've ever seen him this happy with strangers."

you smiled, adjusting your elf hat, tipping it towards him as if it was a cowboy hat and you loved the way the corners of his eyes crinkled as he smiled back. "it's all part of the magic," you said, feeling a bit of pride in your work, it truly did bring some people joy. "you get used to it, but it's fun. and the kids absolutely love it. i'm sure you love what you do to."

"i do, i mean it's fun and i know people enjoy it which makes it worth it." he looked like he was about to say something else but stopped himself, and you knew danny could only take so many pictures before santa was to give luca his gift but you wanted to talk to him more. "i'm pretty good at it too."

before you could respond, danny sent you a signal that he wanted max in the picture with luca and santa, and you quickly stepped aside. they posed for a few photos with santa, looking completely at home in front of the camera as he grinned down as his nephew. there was something about the way he interacted with him and opened the present he'd gotten from santa that caused you to smile, catching max's eye and he smiled back at you, until finally their time was up and the next child was coming through.

before they left the exit of the grotto, max approached you. "thanks for making this memory for him," he said, his smile genuine. "it was fun."

"no problem! it was my pleasure," you replied, smiling down at the little boy beside him, who was practically grinning ear to ear with the toy he'd been given. "you know, he was supposed to open that on christmas."

max shrugged his shoulders, ruffling luca's hair before looking back at you. "i'm the uncle, i'm meant to spoil him."

"you hear that luca," you crouched down to his level again, taking the elf hat off of your head and placing it on his own, knowing you had countless more in the store to put on, "you're gonna get spoiled."

"don't put idea's in his head, i might not live up to them." max offered you a playful grin.

"i'm sure you'll manage."

the store was just near closing now, your elf costume long been took off and you were back into your regular clothes, being the last one left in the store to lock up as layla had left around an hour before your shift finished. the store was ready to go for the storming of christmas shoppers it was bound to get tomorrow, decorations hanging from the ceiling and trees decorated around the shop floor.

a small cough from behind you snapped you out of your thoughts, although jumping out of your skin was more accurate to say as you attempted to slow down your rapid heartbeat, letting out a sigh of relief when you realised it'd only been a customer and you must've forgotten to put the shutter down.

"didn't know it i had to return this or not." the familiar dutch accent punctuated his words, the sound of his voice more attractive to you than you would have liked to admit. "that's a shit excuse to come back isn't it?"

“i'm glad you're self aware." you joked, back to him as you hung up a couple more baubles on trees dotted around the store, making sure each had enough to look full but not cluttered. "can't believe thee max verstappen came back to see me."

you could hear him let out a small laugh, the shuffling of shoes against the ground and he was right behind you, crouching down to hang the bauble on the tree next to the one you just put down. "i see you done some research."

your pulse quickened, embarrassed at how him being close to you gor you nervous, you didn't even know the guy yet he had some sort of an effect on you, but you ignored the feeling and shrugged your shoulders. "helps when you have a friend mad about racing, you should really meet her, she's a lewis fan though."

you didn't miss the way he smiled after rolling his eyes at your words, or the way your skin felt like it was on fire as he placed a hand on your shoulder to stop what you were doing and face him. "i came back, to say i thought you were really pretty, and if i could have your number."

he slightly mumbled the last part, becoming jumbled in the overall sentence and you giggled at his nerves. "yknow, for an f1 driver i was expecting more charisma," you teased him but still pulled out your phone, passing it to the dutchman who'd half expected you to reject him and encouraging him to put his own in your phone.

"are you busy right now?" he rubbed the back of his neck as he asked, a little awkwardly but it made him even more endearing to you, and when you glanced down to the undecorated sections of the tree he quickly corrected himself. "i can help you decorate?"

the grin on your face reassured his nerves as he let out the breath he'd been holding in, beginning to pick out the baubles from the pile and laughing as you swatted away the ones that were too similar from going near each other, at some point he'd taken the elf hats from one of the piles and placed them on both of your heads, maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to give him a shot.

Mermaid Au (a classic)

A modern setting with Cora adopting Law, both living in a beach city

They don't have the best relationship at the moment but Cora is trying

The city is known to have hidden coves near the beaches and have stories for tourists that they're homes to mermaids and other sea creatures

Law being a skeptic or maybe wanted to be left alone for a bit hides away and explores

There he finds an injured mermaid Layla!

Layla escaped from hunters and is stuck in these waters (Doffy could be the main hunter/buyer 👀)

She's extremely cautious and fearful towards humans despite knowing he's just a child

He gains her trust by helping her recover and hiding her but you know with these stories shenanigans happens

I find it to be a silly story of kid shachi, penguin, bepo, and Law trying to hide her from everyone (including Corazon)

Nextdoor au (big brother Law!)

Corazon and 16 yr. old Law living a normal, chaotic life suddenly have new neighbors!

Rumors throughout the apartment complex are saying she's a recent widow whose husband nearly killed his family in a house fire. (Some think it was on purpose others an accident)

Cora thinks it's best to help out and be friendly with the new neighbors while Law thinks they should give them a warning about them (mostly about Corazon being a fire hazard)

They get to meet Layla and a 10 year old Lucas! ( I can flesh out her son!)

The way for the two families come together starts when Layla asks Law to babysit

Just slice of life fluff for this story 💕

Left Behind au (angst! Angst!)

Cora lives type of story!

However, for that to happen Layla has to be left behind with Vergo

Both Cora and Law left with great injuries so there's no way to fight the others

Cora slowly recovers as Law forces himself to use the op-op fruit to heal them both

They both have a hard time dealing with the fact Layla was left behind

Corazon, feeling heartbroken and guilty for failing to take her away from Doflamingo but knows she'd want him to prioritize Law

Law feeling angry with Cora for not saving her, with himself for not being strong enough, and with Doflamingo taking her away

They constantly move around to avoid being tracked down

Layla would be more abrasive towards Doffy compared to the original story she has

Making him try to break her more and more, maybe having Caesar experiment on her if needed

She'll end up having turned into a doll anyway, having both Cora and Law forget her

When Law's plan on defeating Doflamingo in Dressrosa happens, Doffy can use his lovely weapon against them

after a short yet unplanned break, the aus are back! And with that so are the daily thoughts, since we missed a few days below you will a thought for each au and even the ones that we have been developing (such as Mat and Gabe’s sister and Will x Junior!) oh and all of these are at random points within timelines…

Cole and Darcy: Rowden is TERRIFIED of Youppi! Like this happy child won’t stop crying the moment he sees that mascot

Jack and Kennedy: she gets to month six of the pregnancy and is still avoiding him but when she heard that he went and had surgery she wonders if she should invite him over to talk.

Elias and Gracie: Gracie got a busted lip in the game and Elias straight up went a bit bat shit about how the preds player put his hands on Elias’ girl.

Willy and Matilda: with him not being fit for game Matilda is trying to nurse him back to health through love.

Trevor and Blair: Trevor has finally accepted that Blair will love him if he was a worm. But now Blake wants to know if she would love him too. Blair now wants to change all of Trevor’s original answers to “would feed you to the birds”

Jeremy and Adelia: when the wags got their jackets Adelia wasn’t at the picture because she was working but then she thought she was forgotten until Moa pulled it out of her bag forgetting to give it to her.

Matt and Sydney: Sydney made a deal with Matt that for every game in the playoffs that he ended up back in the box that he wouldn’t get any kind of sex time until after the next game. She wants her brothers and parents to see him be more well behaved, but that’s not working too well…

Sidney and Camille: this woman is so excited to go tour around Czechia and when their daughter (I decided we give them a girl but if you guys think otherwise then let me know) is born she loves getting to take quiet walks around the city with her in Camilles arms.

Gabe and Jamie: Jamie got hurt in the second game and lost another tooth, but she scored another goal. So Jamie was definitely on FaceTime with Gabe asking if she was still pretty. Gabe remembered what it was like in Sweden.

Mat and Gabe’s sister: this one is more of a thought in general but I like the idea of her being a doctor. Mat was literally going through ALL the stages of grief though when he realised that she was Gabe’s sister (have we named her yet?)

Cutter and Lillian: Cutters family are so beyond pissed off that he hurt Lillian. Cutter had to tell them that he wasn’t going to her lake house that summer and therefore was going to come home.

Ryan and Ava: Layla has been laying between her parents as she crawls around the bed and Ryan is calling everyone to tell them how smart his daughter is.

Will and Bailey: Max is ready for the summer and to kick his little feet up at Lillians lakehouse because now he wants to see her new boat 

Drew and Erin: Erin and Drew have been spending most of their time at Lillian’s apartment making sure that she is okay.

Jacob and Ivy: Ivy is teaching Jacob different points within figure skating and honestly she’s never found him funnier in her life.

Ethan and Astrid: Astrid got to shave his beard today and she’s never been happier.

Luca and Aspen: Aspen and Sabrina were talking about how cute Gavin and Marisa would be and now Luca would like to return Aspen and Vivi because Vivi says she misses her uncle Gav.

Rutger and Emmy: Emmy has spent her weekend explaining to Rutger why they are on Lillian’s side in the break up.

Gavin and Marisa: Marisa got irritated because a girl kept on flirting with Gavin when they were still sleeping together so Marisa made sure that when he was gone for a week that he had his favourite pair of her panties and a Polaroid of them together in his bag. This man shares a room with Adam…

Nick and Fran: they are currently arguing over if they should get a cat or a dog. The boys are having to remind them of the time they looked after someone’s goldfish and killed it, they had it for two days…

Jacob and Emma: Emma got released from hospital and ended up spending a night back in her parents place which meant that she and Jack ended up catching up on life. She let it slip that she was in love with Jacob. But of course Jacob hasn’t been sleeping thinking that it was he who put her back in the hospital.

Seamus and Liana: Leigh has a new duck towel when she is done in her baths and Seamus doesn’t know what is cuter, his child or Liana’s excitement that it fits.

Jimmy and Tate: Tate went home for a couple of days without him and swore it was torture. Like this man had to go wait for her arrival because she was on the phone with him 24/7

Mark and Abigail: Abigail has been clingy all weekend after she got sick and Mark was lapping it up literally living for every single moment of it!

John and Maya: Auggie is getting to see his hometown for the first time and it makes John so happy seeing his girls get accepted by his family.

Umich Throuple:  Because Lucie was gone they spent the weekend in Ella’s dorm.

Steve and Lucie: Lucie made a mini road trip to see Steve and got to spend the weekend with him in his new apartment!

Will and Junior: when they eventually talk their shit out Will is so worried because she is so drunk and ends up staying with her to make sure she doesn’t do something stupid, but instead she wakes up forgetting they spoke.

Luke and Allie: Allie has booked her and the girls flights to Czechia and has her letter of transfer printed and ready to give to Luke! But for now whilst she finishes off the year he is in Michigan getting to spend time with the twins and sometimes take them to see their mom after lectures.

Quinn and Rouge: They had their first kiss after game one in the playoffs because he thought she needed to be rewarded for her goal.

Cole and Parker: Parker wants a dog, Cole said no. Parker is not very impressed right now.

Nick and Scottie: they have finally started talking to each other and have accepted that they are not doing okay and therefore want to go into some kid of therapy.

Adam and Sabrina: Sabrina has a mini tour this summer and Adam is gonna come with her now that they soft launched her album with a picture of his hand in hers!

Jack and Mila: soaking up the love and attention of their new born boy 

Luke and Isabel: Isabel is ready to go to Prague because her and Blair have already decided on so many things to do together and Blair hasfound a new little sister through it. 

Nico and Bianca: Bianca is trying to convince Nico to tell her where Timo lives so she can go irritate him, she has stopped crying this pregnancy, but now she wants a good laugh and knows that an injured Timo will do it for her.

Chapter Two: Beginnings Of Tragic Incidents.

Chapter Summary: after Blake talked with Cristina about what’s been going on in Seattle with Meredith and Everyone else, her Interns do something unforgivable, something she can’t even Fathom forcing her to do something, maybe even tell her boyfriend.

CW//TW: Medial Terminology, Drama, Shouting, Surgery, Trauma, Cursing, Stephen getting mad at the interns, a Bunch of different OC’s, Blake and Christine are best friend, mentions of Derek shepherd’s Death, Trauma, Flashbacks, Cristina and Blake are like soulmates, injuries, mentions of Cutting an LVAD wire.

“So he totally is Like Meredith’s McDreamy, Huh?” Cristina said over the Phone call, Blake Hissed at her to shut up as she was in the Female Attendings Locker room, Pulling on her Dark Blue Scrubs. “Cristina!” She Whisper Shouted.

Cristina Snorted before ending the call, She Met Stephen Outside heading towards the Nurses Station to get and find there own Cases, like Any hospital Worked. “By the way where are your Stupid Interns?” He asked. Blake stopped, blinking her eyes noticing that none of her little Suck ups were around her, Malia Noticed the Doctor becoming Suspicious and Knew she had to tell on the Poor Interns.

"Doctor Shepherd, one of your Patients on the transplant list came back in after his heart was failing again despite the LVAD, They've been in his room for an hour now, I think his name was Daniel Cooper." Malia said, Blake had a bad feeling about all this, She nodded at Stephen and Malia to come with her. The Trio Scrambled to Cooper's Room, standing in shock when they saw what was happening. "What the hell.." Blake mumbled, her eyes widened in shock, seeing Amy Pumping his heart Manually as the LVAD Wire was cut with a Pair of Scissors next to it. "Amy, What the hell did you do?!" She Practically yelled, "and why are all you fools helping her?!"

Amy didn't respond continuing to Pump his heart, Blake looked at Stephen who shook his head, she nodded to Malia, "Malia take over Pumping his Heart, and Amy step away from the Patient." Malia Nodded and Tried to gently take the device away but Amy screamed no and said not to touch her, Blake Ignored Amy for now telling Malia to stay with her and to help Amy if she allowed her to, Blake turned to the three other Idiot doctors, "You three, In the hall. Now." She ordered.

Blake was angry, seething even. "What the hell were you three thinking, you could have killed that Patient." She said, Stephen was right next to her agreeing with her words, "Even worse, you could have endangered your careers and be sued for assaulting a Patient." Stephen added. David Tried to speak but Blake shushed him, "No, Not a word, you are not to speak, Not a single word, I don't wanna have to Testify against any of you fools." She said.

The Group was silent for a moment, “I assume you ran labs..” She said, Her eyes showing a Furious anger and Disappointment. They stayed Silent only fueling her Annoyance and anger, "Well?..." She demanded. James spoke, "you told us not to speak-"

"I know I did, Now did you run labs?!.." Blake said, tapping her foot impatiently, David Nodded, Blake sighed as she gave out orders, "Okay, Shelby Jack's been asking for you." She said giving her the order to go, before turning to the rest of the amazingly idiotic Interns, "David go get those labs and come right back, do not talk to anyone, go straight there and back."

Then She turned to James, "Now you, follow me and Stephen Right now."

A Few Hours later and both Blake and Stephen were making sure Mr. Cooper was okay, She listened to his heart with her Stethoscope sighing at how weak it sounded. "Why Amy... Why would you do this?.." She said, Continuing to to Listen to his heart while Stephen did a quick Neuro Exam to ensure he was okay in the head, no concussion or any Brain Bleed whatsoever. "Because he needs that heart and I love him.. I love him so damn Much Doctor Shepherd.." The Intern Whispered, Blake shook her head sighing In Disappointment.

"Oh for God's sake, you fell in love with a Patient.." Blake sighed, exasperated, Stephen was really trying to hold back all his anger at the Interns. "Well his Brain is Okay, No signs of anything wrong with his brain." Stephen Said. David Came in with the Labs, "Labs are back, His State is becoming worse." Blake sighed Knowing exactly what that Meant. Amy Spoke now, "He'll get the heart right, He's gonna get the heart? He has to. You'll Sign the papers that he'll be put at the top of the list-" She was quickly Interrupted by Blake's cold tone.

"Those are the Kind of things I would tell a doctor, and right now you are not a doctor, you are a Visitor." She said, her eyes showing how furious she actually was. "What?.." Amy asked in complete and utter disbelief. "You will no longer be a doctor in this Hospital until I say Otherwise. Now Step away from Mr. Cooper and let Malia Take over." She Ordered.

Malia came over slowly taking it away from Amy as Blake Glared at her slightly, making the rest of the Interns Shrink underneath her Gaze.

Blake told Stephen to carry on with the rest of his Surgeries while she went to talk to the Chief of the hospital about this certain Incident without exposing her Interns for doing this.

She asked the Chief about a Hypothetical Question with the exact same Situation, In which she explained that Mr. Cooper move to the top of the list and receive the heart Immediately but ordered that whoever did that was to be in her Office for Intense Consequences for endangering a Patients Life.

Blake nodded, "Of course, Ma'am."

Which ended with the Interns getting yelled at by the chief and forced to not even go near a Surgical case unless they fessed up on who did it and to share one single Patient to give her what she needed.

Later on Blake was sitting at the Nurses Station, Checking on different Patient files and Images, as Stephen was Charting, "So, How bad was their Punishments?" Stephen asked with a Snide Smirk on his face. Blake sighed, Shaking her head. "The Chief said no more surgeries until they confess that Amy did it and they had to share one singular Patient." She snorted, Searching up another Patient file.

Malia was now delivering Labs due to Blake's Interns being Punished for their Stupid decisions, "Here you go Blake, Imaging is back for Ms. Collins." She said handing her the Tablet. Blake looked it over smiling to herself, "Oh.. I could use a little Great Neuro Case." She muttered. Stephen Looked up Suddenly Interested, Raising his eyebrow, "Oh no Mister, You have your own Solo Neuro Surgery in 30 Minutes, you need to get ready for that, I've got this one." She said, smirking to herself before teasing him. "Besides this woman has a nail in her head." She said, before rushing off.

Stephen Chuckled to himself, "Well Played, Doctor Shepherd."

Saint Nicholas’ day headcannons!

I know it’s still September, give a girl a break

Okay so since Max is Dutch and reader can be Dutch (self insert much) reader definitely wants to celebrate this holiday especially if reader was raised in a place where whiteness was a big monoculture and there wasn’t really much rich culture with being white

I was raised in a way where St. Nicholas’s day was kinda like a pregame for Christmas

It’s kinda if Easter and Christmas had a baby

Reader definitely buys Layla and Luca artisan wooden clogs that are probably beautifully painted by hand.

I definitely think reader was raised humbly, even if she was raised in an upper-middle class family, she wasn’t automatically given everything she asked for, so she appreciated what she had

So overnight you would leave your clog outside your bedroom door and St. Nicholas would put some small gifts in it and maybe some candy

I definitely think one year you put the mini LEGO McLaren in Layla’s and the mini LEGO Redbull in Luca’s, much to Max’s dismay

“But Schat, McLaren is the enemy right now.” “You know Lando is Layla’s favorite driver, you want to deal with the tantrum that comes when she gets a Redbull car instead of a McLaren?” Max sighs, knowing his ego is not bigger than his love for his daughter (and his hatred of seeing her upset).

I definitely feel like for candy they do a mix of Dutch candies and reader’s favorite candies growing up (Twizzlers and 100 Grands anyone?)

But yeah, I think this is just a little tradition that you keep alive with your children. Just a little something special.

the earliest oc i can remember making (maybe even the first of the first) is vivian december (i think i was 12-14) - a gra.vity falls aligned oc - i'm a bit nervous to look at my old deviantart account but i have an old art trade saved that works fine bwahaha

she's definitely the result of me not knowing how to be creative back then (i only started drawing recently back then) so she looks like a silly carbon copy of dipper. her symbol is a snowflake which aligns with her last name being december. she was also meant to pair wiht dipp.er but lets not go there ahaa

but i also wanna mention my actual original ocs, agent ski and cobalt since i designed them based on my different interests!

05 - main reason for making ocs

i discovered early on when i was younger that there's just so much fun in imagining yourself in a world where your favorite fictional character exists and making an oc to reflect that feeling was the best way to express it - i did this ever since i was in the 4th grade. there was a brief time where i was on and off abt ocs (and unknowingly partaking in ocxcanon) and became a basic fandom fangirl but it changed until i joined the selfs.hipping community on tumblr (thanks to xell.e in a way)

06 - describe your character creation process

since many of my ocs are conceptualized to be aligned with an f/o - the first thing i think is how do they contrast (it may be secretly, or obviously) and i work on that. if you noticed, a lot of my ships have a contrast (could be personality or lore that is opposite to fo)

eg:

memoryshipping - rich and kind (steven) x middle class and reserved (jaide)

appleshipping - outgoing and versatile (jaide) x antisocial and one track minded (red)

rhyla - polite, inspirational and popular (rhys) x sensual, playful, simple (layla)

tartaladon - suspicious organization soldier x (childe) x loyal and firm knight (celadon)

and the list goes on

however there are times where i dont really follow that basis and just go with whatever i want. (eg: jade (fnf), aquila)

07 - do you ship your oc with someone else's

two of them! one of them is more of a unserious/silly bit but i still love to entertain it (rhys with luke) and one that i thought was genuinely super adorable (aine with jayden)

theres a couple of my ocs that my friends also crushes/ed on / ships with but i wont mention it (its a lot HAHA) but i just wanted to acknowledge it!!

Did you miss me? I hope you missed me. I’ve missed you dearly. It’s a big, bright beautiful world and the pit of Krakoa was oh so very drab and dark. Really, I would not recommend. All I could do was hold on to the hope that my mechanizations would come to fruition in my absence. It’s a rather big ask of fledgling little Sinister’s, but what’s a genius to do? Faith, trust and a little bit of genetically altered spliced D.N.A. will get the job done.

My, what a moment we are living in. I’ve come back to a great number of wonderful happenstances. My puppets have done as they were designed to do: they have acted like  a plague and infected the weak so that they too could become strong. More and more of the so called heroes have fallen under what will eventually be revealed to be my sway. The Five are entirely corrupted now and resurrect tarnished genetic samples without a care in the world. Prominent Avengers have joined the alliance and are hardwired to fight the X-Men without knowing why. How terrible it will reflect upon them; resurrected by the mutants they were, and yet, they turn to violence against them. Following the initial fell swoop that culled some of the Avengers at the Avengers Mansion, we have been sneakily arranging the death and replacement of whoever we can get our grubby little hands on. The now corrupted — although I prefer to think of them as purified — have been recorded below for future prosperity.

Where do we go from here? Well, pet, the only place is up. As I write, the Avengers and the X-Men are priming for battle. We will walk away victorious while they will lick their wounds publicly. We win, they lose. Ha. Of course, we have our adversaries. Raven remains the treacherous thorn in the side she’s always been, and her wife threatens ruination for all. They’ve absconded in the night like fugitives. Less subtle is Storm. She’s always been all thunder and lightening. Her teaming up with Raven and Irene could put a stop to the entire ordeal, so we’ll have to remain ahead of them. It’s tricky when one is a precog, isn’t it? Nevertheless, we will persevere. 

Now that I’ve returned, expect to see me more often, dear diary. I will diligently keep record of all that transpires. The Fall of X is a wondrous place to be, isn’t it?
