Btw, Arnold is one of the character I'm looking forwad meeting the most because he's the top scorer in the classical language test. His score must be 90 or above, which is kinda insane when we know classical language is a dead language and barely taught anymore. I previously made a theory that the reason why Anya is so good at classical language is because she came from Covenia, the equivalent of Romania irl; which language derived from Latin language. That's why I was intrigued with Arnold Crowley; I want to know how is he able to beat Anya's score. Like, did he come from the same place as Anya, or, does his family have a medical/researcher background; stuffs like that

Anyway, back to the tweet. Some people are weirded out with Arnold Crowley's hairstyle, which is not surprising, because me too.

I think it so easy to forget just how young Lando was when he came into F1. At eighteen, you are still trying to figure out who you are. With both Carlos and Daniel, he was always trying to mirror their energy and following their lead in social media. But in the last year he seems way more comfortable in himself and in expressing his true personality. Oscar didn’t know him as the young shy 18 year old who came into F1 so unsure of himself, and instead as the more mature young man who feels more comfortable in his place in the team and F1. With Oscar, at least in what we see in social media stuff, it feels like he’s allowing his true personality through, the more playful, silly, sarcastic but kind person. It seems like with Oscar he feels like he can be his more true self. It reminds me of Daniel talking about Lando’s “microphone voice”. It feels like with Oscar he doesn’t need to use a microphone voice and instead can just use his own voice.

oh but can I weave in here a couple of things? I so agree with you for the most part but just:

to me, the Carlos and Daniel eras represent Little Lando and he was always going to grow up and change from that. but I totally agree about him mirroring them bc if you remember his first interviews before and soon after starting his rookie season he was paaaaainfully shy. he spent half of them hiding behind the neck of his coat. it was so easy to just react to Carlos and then Daniel and turn to them whenever he got stuck or tongue-tied. it's why I'm a little hmmmmm when ppl say they want that Lando back. bc that "Lando" still didn't know how to let his personality show and he was just giggling and being a little bratty for fun. it was super cute and we got some classic content out of it but zero substance of who Lando was as a person. the only place we saw the more serious/authentic side of him was his own content and even there he was still in people pleasing mode.

the other thing is that we now know Oscar knew a LOT about who Lando was by the time they became teammates. and unlike Carlos and Daniel, Oscar was exactly the right age to watch a lot of Lando's streaming content and get him on that gen z level. thing is, we can see in all of Oscar's pre F1 media that he's not actually as quiet and lowkey as he's seems and that he actually had a real knack for memes and funny social media content. so to me, Oscar consciously decided to drop all of that and allowed himself to be as focused and quiet and nervous as he needed to be for his rookie season. he also was clearly pretty awed about being Lando's teammate and spent so much of that dry first half of the season staring at him and trying to interject the odd sentence so that Lando wasn't solely providing the content. and I think that's where Lando surprised everyone because apparently having a rookie to look after (and a rookie who had a celebrity crush on him) clearly worked great for grown Lando! he's looked non-frenetic and more genuine than we've ever known him in interviews and media and he's been incredibly mindful and pointed in making sure Oscar gets noticed and taken care of. Lando just looks... at ease with his role in a way he hasn't before. and the way Oscar's popped up all over Lando's content (and apparently recording even more we haven't seen yet) like someone showing off a new puppy is just <3

I feel like we've seen in real time how Lando's friendships with Carlos and Daniel turned from him being their little fanboy to being his equals professionally and grown up friends. it's why it's a little awkward when ppl try to car|ando their interactions now the way they were back when Lando was basically a kid. they're two men shooting the shit and having dinner and sure there's still a lot of jokes, but it's not all about Carlos and Lando doesn't need him to lead anymore. and obv Daniel experienced that growing up in real time a little more uncomfortably lol. but they're all good now.

but because Lando remembered how recently he was in Oscar's shoes - and esp when he realized how respectful Oscar was of him and how much he hung back to give Lando the rightful spotlight - the difference has been that Lando can put himself in Oscar's shoes in a way Carlos and Daniel couldn't with him. it's that thing I call The Yearning in a landoscar rpf way but in reality it's a very sweet thing of two young guys who are like 'toxic masculinity we don't know her?' so they're openly watching each other closely every time they interact and are so genuine about slowly building their relationship bc they just care so much. it matters to themselves, it matters for their working relationship and it matters for the team. who cares if it's not meme material or big laughs every time for viewers bc that's so far down on both their priorities.

and in that different relationship, you've got to love that Lando is standing up for himself and sometimes to journalists and the public even saying "I'm not happy with myself right now and sorry, I won't bring fun and jokey Lando out to play for you to make this easier to watch." and that as always, he doesn't take a single bit of that frustration with himself out on his team or his teammate. the Monza moment happened, got cleared up by him, and went away just as fast. I'll gladly say goodbye to cackle factory little Lando to acknowledge how responsible and proud Lando is about his role and his job now.

Some general headcanons here on my end, but Buggy is STRONG okay, both bc of his circus skills, knife fighting and devil fruit. He just isn't Full Six Pack Washboard Abs. He's got a little curve. A layer of cuddly softness. HEALTHY muscle.

you had heard the rumors about him (like everyone else had), and while you didn't want to judge someone because of what others had to say, you couldn't deny the fear that consumed you when he stared at you with thinly veiled distaste—right after interrogating you about your relationship with the person you had just been conversing with. it occurred to you far too late that ajax had witnessed the conversation between you and X, and now you were about to be at the receiving end of the terrors you had only heard of in passing.

your brain went into overdrive thinking of an answer. childhood friends? what if he got jealous that you spent so much time with X, time he couldn't have? but if you lied about not knowing X, he'd come after you anyway if he found out the truth, right? so you tried to come up with a lukewarm answer, something to show that you weren't trying to meddle with his…potential relationship. whether you said the two of you were partners for a project, neighbors or family friends, whatever it was, it worked in convincing him that you weren't interested.

but it worked too well, as you soon came to realize, after noticing how ajax was attached to you constantly. at your response, he had lit up and quickly pulled you closer, declaring you would help him by gathering information and helping him plan for the perfect date (and of course, there was not a single moment of consideration for your say in the matter)

even though you insisted over and over again that you'd be no help, with no experience in dating or flirting with anyone, let alone someone as popular as X, and claiming you weren't close enough with them to ask such detailed questions, ajax was far from bothered. perhaps, in his eyes, you were the perfect sidekick—obedient enough to drag around like a sulking pet, but not so compliant that you weren't of some use, at the very least for entertainment. and maybe, just maybe, because he was starting to feel a little lonely.

what he didn't know at the time was that you, despite all the warnings and whispers, had a crush on him. you reasoned with yourself that most people would fall for him, if not for his fixation with X. and although you knew he was 100% infatuated with someone else, you had foolishly thought it wouldn't be the worst idea to be his friend. you had hoped that hanging out with him and being faced with the reality that he would never look twice at you would work as a bitter yet effective remedy to the flustered racing of your heart and the fluttering sensation that seized you.

surprisingly, ajax made for decent company, disregarding the pain of unrequited affection. all your time together was mostly spent talking about X, which you never complained about, but you also learned a little about him, like the fact that he had younger siblings and that he participated in a lot of archery competitions. it occurred to you for a moment, that given his track record, ajax being so well-versed with a weapon probably wouldn't end well, but you shut down that thought almost immediately. he may talk about wanting X all for himself and may have some concerning fantasies, but even he wouldn't go to such lengths, right?

you liked to think that he liked your company too, at least as an acquaintance. after all, since that first encounter, he hadn't threatened to snap your arm if you didn't tell him everything you were talking to X about. maybe that time he dragged you away mid-conversation with your friend should have been alarming, or maybe that other time when you woke up tied to a chair in his basement ("don't worry," he had brushed off your concerned look, "i only did this because you kept saying you were too busy to come over. anyways…") should have sent you running, but you justified it to yourself as his odd way of watching out for you.

or more likely, the warning signs just flew over your head because you couldn't imagine that he would be as creepy as the rumors said. you did idolize him to an extent that you tried to justify all his strange habits. it didn't matter much, anyway, since you were well aware this arrangement was temporary—you were only serving as replacement company until he finally got with X, and then your presence in his life would instantly be shut out.

because you were under the impression that it was all temporary, you didn't mind, even when he started overstepping into your personal matters. more than once you had to cancel meet-ups with friends in favor of spending time with him, and the few times you did manage to be away from him, ajax would interrogate you about every detail of your day without him, and at the very end would demand you tell him if you enjoyed being away from him, scowling until you placated him.

and then, the 'practice dates' started feeling a little too real. with him insisting on feeding you spoonfuls of dessert and latching onto your hand uncomfortably tight. but honestly, you couldn't complain, even if you knew something was wrong. going out with X didn't seem as much of a priority as it was a way to convince you that he desperately needed your help in 'practicing'.

all this while, you were under the impression your role was simply to be a good friend to ajax. naturally, when you had an opportunity to talk to X again after such a long time, you jumped to take it. what you didn't expect was for ajax to come up behind you, gently moving you aside to instead tower over X, glaring at the person he'd been pining over so desperately. the words that left him next were similar to the ones you heard all those months ago, except, these were the last words you expected him to say.

I've always found the whole "queer people should listen to queer artists" conversation bizarre, especially when it comes to Taylor, because I'm sure she herself would be flattered to learn that queer people are finding some sort of comfort/solace in their interpretations of her music – especially considering how loud she's been about her allyship in the last few years. Ask a random person on the street what their image of an alpha is like and Tsuzuru is sure he won’t fit that description.

Alphas are known for their imposing figures and intimidating presence – neither of which Tsuzuru has. He tends to fade into the background and most people, on the contrary, find him a friendly and comforting person to be with. As a compliment, his classmate in middle school once told him he was the most beta alpha she had ever known.

Tsuzuru didn’t know if he should have taken it as such.

Well, it’s not like he’s bothered exactly. It’s just a bit annoying for people to be surprise every time he reveals it.

A large part of it is because they don’t notice his pheromones. They’re a light scent that a lot cannot perceive unless he were on high alert or super stressed. Either situation is only likely to happen at home where his siblings are often short of giving him a heart attack. And in turn, he doesn’t smell others that well either. It’ll only be if they were deliberately releasing their pheromones or they were in rut or heat.

His alpha older brothers smell others just fine, but Tsuzuru guesses his pheromones just followed his personality. He isn’t one to stand in the spotlight like Meguru or stand out in the crowd like Tadoru.

He’s just Tsuzuru. And that’s okay with him.

So it’s a huge shock when a floral scent overtakes his senses.

Without thinking (and Tsuzuru is always thinking), he follows it, ignoring the questioning calls of his classmates around him.

When he’s back in his right mind, he looks around and finds himself in an empty hallway, sans a guy sitting on the ground, grumbling out loud.

Is that smell coming from him?

“Oh, man, I messed up this one. It’s just a scrape but it might bleed all the way to the classroom! A bloody trail would be a scare for anyone!” The stranger wears a tie a different color from his. He must be an upperclassman - a second year, a really flashy looking second year with bright blond hair and earrings. Are students even allowed earrings on campus?

 “This sucks! It really isn’t worth a trip to the infirmary…” The stranger sighs loudly, but then abruptly looks in Tsuzuru’s direction, making Tsuzuru jump in surprise.

“…Dandelions?”

Their eyes meet. What the heck? Can that guy…feel his pheromones? They’re about a few meters away from each other too. In the past, his peers had to purposely sniff him to get a whiff of his dandelion scent.

Tsuzuru blinks. He’s now stuck in an awkward position with an omega in distress-

His older brothers might have graduated from school and Kaoru is still a year behind him and is in middle school, but Tsuzuru never broke the habit of carrying around a bunch of medical supplies for his accident-prone brothers (are they accident-prone or just careless? Tsuzuru thinks it’s the latter honestly). He takes a bunch of colored ones out, his cheeks flushing red realizing how childish the designs look.

Still, he offers them to the stranger. “Here, are these enough?”

“Wow! Thanks! Is it oks if I take all of these?” The guy’s eyes seem to sparkle as if he’s found his savior and not just been given a small act of kindness anyone else would have done.

“Yeah, I have a lot more in my bag and at home.”

Seeing the boy have trouble putting on the band-aids one-handed, Tsuzuru helps him out and peels the sticky layers and places them on the wound.

All the while, the pleasant floral scent surrounds him, making the alpha in him purr.

This has never happened before.

“Wowwee, you’re the best! What’s your name?”

“Oh, I’m Minagi Tsuzuru.”

“Tsuzurun, then! I’m Miyoshi Kazunari! You can call me Kazu-san, if you want!”

Watching Miyoshi walk away, Tsuzuru takes a bit of a candy. It’s a sour lemon taste, but somehow, right now, he feels nothing but sweetness.

People usually assume that i’m distant or cold but they just don’t bother to get to know me, and i can actually be a totally different person if i trust someone fully, and i’m way more “energetic” or happy when i’m with those said close friends. Most people who know me consider me to be intelligent, but i doubt myself alot and i act confident even if i’m not feeling good about myself. I also tend to think of myself as selfish even for just telling someone about my interests. The things i don’t like: when i see someone getting used or taken advantage of despite them being kind or good people, misunderstandings, or people who don’t bother listening to the other persons side of the story, unfairness. Overall, i don’t think there are many things that i can’t tolerate but these things i just can’t stand.

some of my hobbies: -dancing -i’m not sure if this can be considered a hobby, but when someone has a problem in their life i like finding solutions to it (i’m not too good with comforting them though, sadly)- i also like working out (but often it’s just jump roping for hours if i have time) - and something i do daily is just take walks and think about whatever comes to my mind lol

I unironically want Christian women of all kinds to stop listening to namely white Christian men old and young (and women too) who push that “great replacement theory” that I keep seeing crop up even in Christian spaces. If you’re happy about your heritage that’s one thing. Like celebrating traditions or culture. But to go full “our [white] people are endangered” and demonizing mixed ethnicity or race couples is just gross and cruel to me. Bonus if you’re adopted too.
