I had to fully edit in the background because I wanted there to be some sort of Sally Face aspect. But he wore that eyepatch because beneath it was a green eye that he hid from Travis -- From everyone -- Because he didn't want to be seen as someone being corrupted by the devil. He wanted to stay by Travis's side as much as he could because Travis was all he had. Okay, break from the fish talk show. Time to talk about my week! That's a very pretty clover btw.

Okay so first off, I did join the Narrator Swap discord for the month of June and I posted my first art for it two days ago. That has been super fun and I can't wait to get my partner for next week!!!

Now the big thing was yesterday. Because yesterday was my oldest brother's birthday and he wanted to bring us to a convention, so some of us joined him for that, myself included. I don't know if this is surprising or anything, but this was the first big convention I've ever been to and my goodness, it sure was something. I didn't know a whole ton about the convention going in so I didn't go to any of the panels. (Though my sister in law told me they had a Sandman panel, but I lowkey forgot and only remembered 30 minutes after the panel started. Pretty upset about that). Anyways! I did end up getting some cool things, though most of what was being sold seemed to be more anime focused there were some other cool things I found.

I ended up getting two charms, an Ineffable Husbands one for myself and a Dreamling one for my sister. I also go a really cute Blackbonnet print signed by the artist (it's so cute!!), a little sewn keychain of my favorite little dragon Figment, a really cute Ponyo sweater, and an adorable strawberry frog keyboard for my computer (cuz I really needed a new one).

So overall, a super fun experience!! I definitely have determined that next time I go to a big con I definitely need to look into everything happening the day I'm going and figure out what events I want to participate in. Also, I should probably try to finish up some of my more casual cosplays, such as the Narrator or the RK900 hoodie I've been very slowly working on. This is because I went to this con in my Ghostbusters cosplay. Since I had a proton pack I couldn't have my backpack with me, which got kinda annoying when I had some downtime and didn't have my sketchbook to draw in. So more casual cosplays would work best for me.

Another thing I've discovered. I walk really poorly. My legs and ankles are so sore right now because of how I walk and how much I was walking yesterday. I realized a few hours in as my feet were starting to hurt, that I walk in such a way that I have a little bit of a limp and it puts a lot of strain on my left leg. Along with that, when walking my ankles are very fluid in their movements in such a way that I tend to put more pressure on the outer edge of my feet. In short. I'm super unbalanced and it wrecks my ankles when I walk like this for a while. So. Oof. This explains why every once in a while one of my ankles kind gives out and I either fall or almost fall. It's very rare, but it happens sometimes. Don't really know what to do about that other than trying to be more conscious of how I'm walking.

So that's about if for con related stuff I guess, though this next thing is a tiny bit related I guess. I have noticed recently, both on Tumblr and at the con, that Trigun Stampede is really popular right now. I don't know much about the anime though my sister did show me an episode or two of the original Trugun series. I did notice a lot of really cool art of Vash while at the con, along with some amazing cosplaysm there was this one person selling the cutest little tiny acrylic standees of him and I kinda wanted one, but I felt like it would be kinda weird to get art of a character from a fandom I'm not in. Anyways, this whole thing has a point. That being, I talked to my sister about it and she said I definitely should watch both Trigun series, sooo.... might end up doing that in my free time. I will probably start with the original Trigun then watch Stampede, cuz that just makes sense to me. I don't know how into it I will get, but I guess we will have to see.

I will have you know you most likely won't have to worry about me dropping TSP since I have a lot of people, both friends and you guys, keeping me into it. So don't worry!! I will not stop drawing TSP art for a long while!!! I just thought that would be important to say.

But yeah, that's kinda been the hughlights of my week. Fun things :)

I will never get over the fact that the person who I considered one of my greatest friends actually Did Not In Fact Like Me for at least 4 years and during those 4 years deliberately tried excluding me from every conversation with others about my interests.

If a new anime came out and she wanted to talk about it she would specifically only talk about it when I wasn’t around.

When I started talking about said anime she would immediately lose interest and the cycle would continue

It happened like… 5 times 😭😭 like MHA, AOT, Undertale, Yuri on Ice, Tokyo Ghoul, DRAWING IN GENERAL it’s really funny now that I think about it.

I just straight up did not notice the entire time too my ass was so clueless I couldn’t fathom that she was doing this. I only found out because someone else told me 2 years after it started happening.

I will also never forget about how 3 of my highschool friends, 2 of them I knew for 13 years, got into relationships, didn’t tell me for a whole year, and laughed at me when I got confused when they were talking about how they’d all been “going strong” for a year.

I will never forget being considered weird and strange and childish for my interests esp since I was interested in them for way longer than my peers. That I was weird for liking things like anime and donghua even though I grew up watching anime and donghua (I could never beat the Asian poser allegations even though I was the only Asian ) but then 2017 hit and liking anime was cool all of a sudden and multiple people suddenly forgot they called me abnormal for liking ugly cartoons at my big age and were asking me for recommendations

I remember saying things to people and they would laugh but I’d never understand why it’s funny, to this day I don’t get it. I am very good at this now tho with my college friends so my SHS was probably just full of dry people.

The shit that keeps me up at night is also that all my teachers would tell my parents that I was highly distracted and always fidgeting or daydreaming, and that if I just worked on discipline and motivation I’d be a better student even though I wasn’t doing bad by any means from class 1 to fucking 6th form and no one clocked that I had ADHD is WILD

My mom, who majored in child psychology didn’t clock that I had ADHD for 19 entire years and called me drug seeking when I got my diagnosis and started treatment, because I was nothing like the ADHD kids that she worked with who were all 4.

Also the fact that my childhood was lowkey a giant fluorescent sign of it all and no one clocked it is hilarious. I pulled the straps of my shoes so tight they’d rip because I don’t like the feeling of shoes having air in them, I have dents from it like my feet would not get proper circulation because my shoes were so tight. I cut along the seems of all my school socks because if the seem touched my toe pads I would cry. My favourite thing to do second to playing Mario kart and watching 3 movies on rotation (ponyo, cindarella, Monster High: 13 Wishes) was to stack my collection of kid encyclopedias ( 14 at its peak), read them then put them into another stack. I had more kid encyclopedias but I didn’t like them because they had a different publisher so none of the stuff was in the same layout 0/10

I want to gift Crona a Comfy, let them pick out a stuffed animal (from a small selection so they don’t get overwhelmed), make their favorite food, and then have a Studio Ghibli movie marathon, with all of the more lowkey movies like Ponyo and Kiki’s Delivery Service. Just really treat them special, show them love, and try my best to not be overwhelming. This kid has my whole heart in wanting to protect and look after them. I know they’re strong and can fight, but even strong people deserve to be looked after.

mirae was born in seoul but only stayed there briefly before moving to new york city to live with their adoptive parents. all they really know about their biological family is that they were born to a single, teen mom. mirae has never held any resentment towards her, they are sympathetic towards her situation and thankful for the family they were placed with; their adoptive dads ended up spoiling them rotten.

mirae is a theatre kid, they performed at small children's theatres around manhattan before joining theatre in school. their dads nurtured their creativity and expressed to them to always dream big growing up so mirae always wanted to be an idol. growing up in the 00's, they consumed media from a very young age and idolized the entertainers they saw on the music stations so, yeah, they dreamed about being an idol since childhood.

unfortunately, mirae rebelled a bit in their teenage years since they struggled with their identity and mental health. i won't go into detail since it can be triggering so we will skip to later. they're diagnosed officially with an anxiety disorder, depression and borderline personality disorder in their later teen years. they managed to keep it together for most of their training period before losing it near indigo's debut date, the stress causing them to melt down and finally be professionally treated for symptoms. don't worry - they're good at faking sanity for public appearances.

mirae, the idol, is definitely known for charisma (uniqueness nerve and talent) in front of cameras or around fans. lots of stage presence and fluidity with dancing styles. playful and witty. they're the type of idol that flirts with fans the whole time they're vlogging. meanwhile, they're really just an emotional little dweeb behind the scenes. they sell the idol image well but it's not the reality most of the time. truthfully, they are still a kid at heart so catch mirae playing on their nintendo or binging nostalgic movies from their childhood.

i'm going to keep them open from here so i can plot with you all. some connections i'd like to see? of course, work-related things always apply like maybe doing a duet or working on the same special. i'm sure there is always a path we can go regarding their careers! if not, i'm down for any of the typical connections like fwbs, bff, freniemies or foes. but in all honestly - i usually wing it and see where chemistry takes me.

What you guys would wear as a couple on Halloween and how they react!! || 95s || 96s || 97s || Maknae line || A/N: I tried to make these examples as inclusive as possible, if you don't like that THEN GET OUT! Also, the characters or costumes I mention DO NOT correlate to the boys' personalities and this is all just for some silly Halloween fun! Mingyu The Frankensteins/The Munsters

Does he want to dress up? No, not necessarily. Will he for you? Oh yeah absolutely! Takes little to no convincing on his end but he might sulk a little because he's slightly embarrassed. But past that initial embarrassment boy howdy does he have suggestions!

No questions asked. He is getting you guys some well-made costumes and sparing no expense and works very hard to impress you tbh. Lowkey I think he's the type to want to do more casual costumes that allude to what the original idea was while still being very stylish and modern. I definitely don't see him pulling out the stops to be especially accurate with the costume choices.

I would die to see you and him in a Frankenstein & Frankenstein's bride costume or Dr. Frankenstein & the Monster. Not only do I think it gives both of you the ability to kind've mix and match what you can be but it is also very recognizable even when done casually because it's so classic. That or go for Lily and Herman from the Munsters, which is essentially the same but y'know slightly different origins.

DK Alice in Wonderland/Sanrio

He's into it if you're into it. Doesn't mind dressing up, giving out candy, or going trick or treating, none of it fazes him and he's just so happy to be doing seasonal things with you. Even just the planning part of the costumes is done with the biggest smile on both of you're faces and it would 100% veer off into many different side conversations because you two are having way too much fun.

If you decide to go for more traditional Halloween costumes then I think any combo of Alice in Wonderland duos would work soooo well. Whether it's Mad Hatter & Alice, Cheshire Cat & White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts & the White Queen, of course, gender-bending where y'all see fit. Any of it would be so cute. Alternatively, I think he would be so down - maybe even being the one to convince you to do a Sanrio duo costume... Him as My Melody & you as Kuromi... Need tbh.

The8 Ghibli Films/The little prince & the rose/Jack & Sally

Listen... The8 and costumes. They are made for each other and I honestly don't think anything would look bad on him, he can pull off anything he wants. That being said I HAVE CONCEPTS!! And I need you to ride this one out with me...

Ghibli films. The one everyone goes to is obvi Sophie and Howl and don't get me wrong you and Hao would kill in that but I'm more thinking Ponyo's parents (Fujimoto & Granmamare), Sheeta & Pazu, Haru & The Prince, or maybe even Kiki & Tombo. Overall, I think Hao would kill in any Ghibli duo, romantic or not.

Jack & Sally/Just bring back Skellington Hao. Listen... I don't care if you dress up as the freaking mayor or Oogie goddamn Boogie, I desperately need to see Hao back in his Jack costume. Truly one of the best SVT costumes to have been worn. Period.

And then there's probably the cutest couple costume that I have been able to think of. Hao as the little prince and you as the rose. First off, this can be done no matter the gender and second, it's just so beautiful. If you've read The Little Prince then you'll get it but regardless if anyone knows what you two are dressed up as this would make for the ultimate couple costume IMO. And on top of that, this is the one that I think Hao would be into the most.

Hao would love to dress up if you suggest it. Doesn't mind either way but just likes spending some time with you and doing stuff that you love. It's a unanimous decision; As you speak it, so it shall be. Honestly, he's one of the most romantic and sentimental members IMO and I don't see a world where Hao doesn't make an event out of Halloween if you celebrate it.

!!!! My favorite animal is dogs, but more specifically, Corgis!!! They're my favorite breed of dog, I lowkey cried when I got to pet one iel for the first time, and I get so excited seeing them out and about!! One of my big goals is to someday make the trip down to Cali so I can go to the big Corgi Beach Day they host twice a year, bc a whole beach of corgis sounds like heaven to me

As for my favorite movie- Not to sound like a broken record, but favorite of all time is def Silence of the Lambs 😭 The book and movie are my special interest, so they're major comfort media for me funny enough. My second favorite is a bit harder to choose, but if I was to say atm it would be Ponyo!!! It's the cutest movie, and when I was little I rlly thought Ponyo and Sosuke were the relationship goals of all time 😂❤️
