he's very observant so he probably found out pretty quickly just by noticing your slight change in action and words. which means he'll notice the moment you regress even before you do

very good with kids so more than happy to help you

he makes sure to keep his daggers far out of your reach

doesnt even ask you about it he'll put it together himself and on instinct want to care for you especially since he's so used to caring for others like his sister since they were young

will find subtle ways to baby you pats on your head, finding you little things to keep you occupied, nicknames, forehead kisses, doing tasks for you that he thinks youre "too little for"

vex will catch on and ask but he'll hush her then pull her aside and explain later and she'll tease you both. she'll find it adorable how he cares for you and keep most of it to herself, if he's unable to be there for you she's the next best stand in for a carer at the moment.

he'll give you all the little nicknames he can think of usually bird related like "little feather/wing" or "little (bird name)" will likely call you "my little bird" or "my little raven" a few times but normally not near the others

cuddles whenever you guys get a break together will snuggle you if you ask at night when he's not on watch or if he's got watch and youre still up he'll offer to hold you till you fall asleep he feels he can protect you if he's closer to you that way

totally stole some shiny things from a vendor/shop in town for you to play with anything he finds that looks interesting or that he think's you'll like and that'll keep your attention while youre little, he'll try and get for you if he cant buy it you know hes gonna try and steal it.

loves to sneak little kisses when he can kiss on the forehead, temple or cheek sometimes a tiny kiss on the nose if he gets the chance he'll smother your face in kisses to make you giggle, he thinks its the cutest and adores when he gets to do that

if youre in the middle of a fight and he notices youre struggling with words its panicked cg!vax mode he'll insist you stay hidden away from the fight, give you an object or make sure vex or pike sticks with you just incase until its over he wants you somewhere he'll be able to see you or find you quickly to make sure youre okay and safe.

if you insist on helping with the fight even though youre little, this is the only time youre little that he'll give you one of his daggers. he feels its a better weapon for you to fight with unless youre a ranger like his sister. he trusts his daggers in your hands and he wants to make sure youre as safe as possible.

once he gets wings, you start collecting some of the feathers that fall when they appear/he flies and he finds it adorable even tries collecting some of them for you might make a necklace and tie some up or use one for a charm you get to wear a necklace with raven feathers from his wings theyre very soft and pretty and he loves the smile on your face when you play with the feathers

I think writing about Scanlan is very funny as I can personally only perceive him platonically. Every other party member? Yes, please. Scanlan? That's my buddy! -Finn

Scanlan could not be farther from virginity, he has tried every vaguely sexual act under the sun and has trademarked some new ones.

So he is perfectly capable of teaching you anything, he just needs to remember to go slow with you. He doesn't want to overwhelm you. Or at least not in an unpleasant way.

After dating him for a while, without sex being on the table, this becomes a big moment. Sex is often casual for him, but you are so terribly important to him and he wants it to be special for you.

He sets up a whole romantic date for you, down to a candlelit dinner and rose petals on the bed. This does not mean that the evening isn't full of awful cheesy innuendos.

Scanlan isn't all that different just because of the new level of intimacy. He's still an overdramatic dork that laughs into kisses, even as he begins to help you undress.

It's all so reverent. His hands gentle on your skin, always followed by kisses and a grin. He's worshipping you with every touch.

He spends so much time focused on your pleasure, showing you just how good he can make you feel.

Tell him what you like and what you don't. He can read you pretty well like this and he knows what often works, but he will be encouraging you to talk and stay vocal the whole time. He wants to make it perfect for you.

He is kissing you so much, anywhere he can reach. He can't resist it, even if he has the chance to kiss you whenever. It makes him happy to cover you in kisses until you start laughing.

Keyleth

Will have a million questions for you because she's never heard of Bhaal. And the more you answer, the more she completely understands why you left.

Keyleth knows you must have a lot of guilt and baggage from your past. She'll take your hands in hers and tell you that she loves you and that you're safe with her.

Might ask about some of your murders either out of curiosity or if you want to just talk about it. She'll tell you about all the children she's accidentally killed and the old people that sometimes-accidentally got killed. Might need a mutual cry session.

Pike

Pauses a bit when you mentioned you used to follow Bhaal. Her religion skills kick in and she stares at you wide eyed. I mean, Bhaal?! Sure, he's not as well-known as other Betrayer Gods, but damn that's a shock.

Is glad that you don't follow him now. If you did then that'd change things. But you haven't hurt her or any of her friends. And she kind of has a committed relationship with you so I guess you're stuck with her still!

Seriously, S/O, if you're feeling guilty or if you're scared of how things will be now that she knows then don't. She loves you and yeah, your past is filled with blood, but let her fill your future with love instead.

Doesn't really know who Bhaal is. Maybe she's heard the name during her travels. But you'll have to explain to her a bit. I mean, the guy must be a shithead if you left him.

Definitely thinks he's a shithead once you've told her. But honestly, it doesn't change anything once you've laid out your past to her. Sure, she might tease you a bit now and then like, "Good thing we need to kill some bad guys, you should be used to it!" things like that.

I mean, she was kind of friends with a Paladin of Tiamat so the fact you used to be loyal to a murder god just goes on the list of morally questionable shit she's had to deal with.

he regresses usually to ages 10/11-14 typically. he can regress younger but its not often

he tends to be very quiet when little quiet like he's got his mind busy and hes focused however he'll talk and talk when he gets excited and enthusiastic about something

we all know he likes to read but when hes little its the #1 activity for him best way to keep him busy probably better to give him a book with pictures or thats not too hard to read

will fall asleep reading with his glasses on needs to be tucked in for naps and glasses taken off for him

be careful and watch him when he takes naps he does have nightmares and will cry

remind him he cant chew his nails or bite his sleeve need to find him a paci but hes very hesitant to use one.

he does get very pouty and grumpy attention tends to help with that, not upset a lot kind of grumpy but often needs snuggles

keep him in sight at all times hes curious he will wander off and he will get lost

he's still a very responsable little will tidy up and keep things tidy if you drop something he'll tug on your sleeve and put it in your hand or if you trip he'll go "uh oh" and give you hugs so you feel better he's a big brother and he grew up doing that sorta thing for his younger siblings so he'll do it then too

So for starters, I can see you hailing from the areas of Marquet and/or Ank’harel. Exandria is vast and diverse in its cultures, and they are not one to judge for differences.

Given most of their vices, you become a better influence for the group. Seeing you take time not to indulge so much rubs off more than they would admit.

Even when the worst of your most vicious enemies are rid of, seeing you perform dua does strike at them, especially Percy. He wishes he could have met you during the worst years when he was away from Whitestone.

Vex hears you pray and it reminds her of the guiding light that was her mother. A reassuring she needs when self-doubt creeps. Vax hears and sees you and he feels safe, calm and accepting of his future with the Raven Queen. He’s glad there’s another he can share his sentiments and feelings with.

Pike and Keyleth have grappled with their doubts and insecurities with following the Everlight and the Aramente trials before but you’re a reminder to them they can take that time for themselves. Keeping to what they believe and follow will be there, but to live a life and enjoy what has always been in front of them.

Grog has his fair share of philosophical questions here and there, which he is glad you make the time to answer. It’s refreshing that someone listens to what he has to say.

At the rooms you each have at Whitestone, Percy caters to your tastes and decorates your rooms to your liking. Whatever it takes to remind you of home.

If you’re good at textiles and artwork, then calligraphy has a soft spot in their armor and along their clothes designs .

Also, it becomes a rotation of each party member to come into your rooms to learn more of your language. It feels like an intrusion to hear you and your s/o speak privately to each other only in a dialect you both know.

Sometimes they’ll hear you singing, asking what those songs mean and if you could teach them. Mostly Scanlan just likes to pretend he’s learning because it’s an excuse to hear you sing, giving him courage to come to terms with his daughter.

(this one's technically canon, but im putting it here anyways) underneath their anxious exterior, she actually has a strong level of confidence, ESPECIALLY when it comes to their claims in trials.

(SPOILERS) When the news came out that Pink and Rose were the same person, Blue Zircon went out of her mind, telling Yellow Zircon that they were right over and over again and laughing in her face (just imagining it is so funny-)

she can debate extremely well (as seen in the show), as long as they know enough about what she's talking

she can blush really easily and can get flustered at the smallest things. take that how you will >:)

they would probably love puns, and probably the terrible ones

she has a tendency to overwork herself, and they don't really take any breaks (due to the Diamonds' past expectations).

like Blue Pearl, Blue Zircon also likes to draw, although she isn't very good at it

due to them having a tendency to get carried away, i imagine her talking about a certain topic, and then they continuously get distracted by other topics and she ends up talking for hours and hours before they get back on topic.

she's DEFINETLY a huge critic, and they don't even intend to be so critical (not just of herself, but of others too). they try to be better, and she tries not to be too harsh, but sometimes they can let harsh critique out by accident (she tries to apologize as much as possible if they hurt someone's feelings)

i think that she's a bit of a perfectionist, especially with their high anxiety (trust me, i'm an anxious perfectionist and i said so)

despite her serious and professional exterior, i feel like they are a cute dork in some ways, and i love her

Vex'ahlia is well versed in being a stoic badass when she needs to be, so she both understands and appreciates your personality.

She really enjoys watching you be badass. Combat or intimidation, when she has the chance, she'll step back for a moment just to watch you. Once, when she had been thoroughly drunk, she'd compared it to watching the beauty of a storm.

She enjoys playing the good cop to your bad cop here and there.

Seeing you melt in private though? She loves it.

Vex will coo at you and tease you just to make you blush. She adores being able to get such reactions from you. It is often a bit reminiscent of how she coos at Trinket

It is so amazing to her that you let down your walls around her. Being the person who gets to see and hear your emotions when you so often hide them from others means a lot.

She cherishes her time alone with you and will get pissy if it gets interrupted for no reason. The rest of the party has learned to allow her this much.

Keyleth

Keyleth is a softy with a badass side, so you guys are two sides of the same coin.

At first, she had felt childish compared to you, falling into a nervous mess after a battle while you calmly cleaned your weapons.

She wished she could be like that, even as she yearned for your attention.

After an accidental confession and a lot of embarrassment for her, she asked you out on a date, and against all her expectations, ended up with you as her partner.

And her infatuation grew into a steady love as she got to know you as someone who was just as scared as her in the face of death, as someone who would do anything for the party, and as someone who melted into her arms during late nights.

You both found yourselves constantly flustered on dates. It became a source of entertainment for the rest of the party whenever the two of you stammered through flirting with eachother.

Pike

She's very used to the 'badass with a soft side' type, but Grog has always been very open about his soft side.

When she first met you, she didn't expect to be given the chance to see past your walls. Fighting beside you, she admired you quietly for a long time without saying anything.

She was often running herself ragged making sure that you were alright in combat. The downfall of pulling off impressive maneuvers was that you were often in a lot of danger.

And it was in the quiet moments after battles when she was patching you up and scolding you, that you let her see your soft side.

Quiet, genuine thank you's; telling her how incredible she was in battle; offering her small gifts you had picked up in the last town.

She was already hopelessly in love with you, so being offered your soft affection completely melted her.

Discovering how easily she could fluster you delighted her. Watching you scoff at Scanlan's lines, but turn bright red when she complimented you always made her feel a little too smug.

This headcanon is primarily taken from LOVM show because the animation of this particular scene really stirred something in me. In the Briarwood Fight when Scanlan gets silenced, I think that is one of the first times possibly ever that he truly felt powerless.

Sure Scanlan as a Bard, and eventually one with a weapon from a god that is a sword, can use a sword, but consistently throughout out the campaign he uses his voice to invoke spells, and give inspiration. A bard doesn’t need their voice, in my opinion, but Scanlan’s voice is very much part of who he is as a bard and a person.

He got a true scare when he could not use his voice. Despite being able to use a weapon, Scanlan felt the uselessness that comes up later in his story for the first time during this fight. He does not get to dwell on it. But the reason I wanted to do this little headcanon is because of how the show animated his reaction, it is one of the few times that we see anyone actually seem scared. And I don’t mean scared of a dragon scared, I mean scared as in I have nothing scared. And that image from the animation just sits with me.

Vox Machina

Grog doesn't really get that he's in love with you when he sees you, but he does know that you're hot and he would like to climb your tree.

Keyleth is very interested to learn more about you and what it's like being a nymph. It must be a lot of responsibility and she likes just sitting with you and destressing. Falling in love comes much later as she wants to be friends first!

Percy is also interested in your history and how you became a queen. Probably wouldn't admit to falling for you, yes it happens, but he'll keep that close to his chest for now.

Pike wants to make sure you're not going to harm her friends since you're feylike and the fey are tricky. Instead she ends up befriending you and honestly enjoys your prescence. Is also quiet with her feelings though, she's happy being friends if other things come up then she'll try but mostly staying quiet.

Scanlan isn't one to admit he'd ever fall in love with someone, but you're a nymph and really attractive and he'd be stupid to not give you a ton of pick-up lines.

Vax is quick to fall in love and so when he realizes that he fell for you, he's just going to take things slow. Sure there's definitely longing stares and him hanging off your every word, but he wants to take things slow for you.

Vex was interesting with you being a nymph queen because that must mean you have riches and money right? You have to have something valuable and Vex loves money. Honestly just befriending you in hopes of getting some of that wealth is when she starts falling for you and hey that's an added plus!
