Maddie goes to a new tattoo parlor hoping to get something beautiful in honor of her daughter. The tattoo artist is a friend of her coworker, Linda, and he comes highly recommended. As she gets to know the friendly artist, she can't help but think he would get along well with her brother.

When she leaves Diaz Designs that day, she notices a piece of paper on the cork board near the entrance advertising for a roommate. It sounds perfect for her little brother who needs a new place.

Maddie wouldn't meddle any further though. Of course not.

So in the first daughter au Buck’s father is president and his mother the first lady ofc. Buck and Maddie live at the white house with them, but Buck is suffocating under their thumb. He just wants a regular life without all the scrutiny and control so he makes the decision to move out, which causes a lot of security concerns particularly because Buck has a habit of dodging his guards (Hen, Chim, Ravi, and Lena with Bobby as the boss)

So Bobby hired Eddie as an agent but he's undercover, Buck doesn't know he is an agent. They become fast friends and fall in love and then Buck learns the truth and feels betrayed and believes everything between him and Eddie was a lie

I also plan for Eddie to get shot protecting Buck from an assassination attempt

Tease Tidbit Tuesday 🔥

This is from something new I've been working on (a new wip? unheard of!) where Buck and Eddie get trapped together on a call in very close proximity, which is difficult for Eddie being so hopelessly in love with Buck.

Eddie closed his eyes with a deep sigh and just nodded. He couldn't really deny it, there really were only a few positions that were going to work, and having Buck perched in his lap was looking like the easiest for now.

Buck managed to get one knee down first, the inside of his thigh against the outside of Eddie's turnouts, followed by the other. As much as less gear would make this exponentially more comfortable, Eddie had never been more glad for the bulky uniform.

"If I'm too heavy I'll move," he said, letting his weight come down slowly.

Eddie shook his head.

"You're fine."

Buck sighed and relaxed a little into him, putting one hand on the wall behind Eddie's head and looking around in the space again. Eddie did the same, his mind trying to come up with a myriad of other positions that wouldn't wind up with Buck in his lap, the only one he could think of still involved one of them draping their legs over the other.

He looked down at the way Buck's legs were spread open, it couldn't have been comfortable on his knees or otherwise, especially since Eddie could tell he was holding some of his weight back to save Eddie taking the full brunt of him.

Little did he know that Eddie had often thought about taking all of him, thick and heavy and rough and all the things he'd never let himself want before.

He scolded him for the thoughts that crossed his mind. He shouldn't be thinking about Buck like that, not now, not under the circumstances. It was inappropriate, they were friends, and friends weren't supposed to imagine these kinds of things about one another when they were forced to straddle each other while waiting to be rescued.

"Your thighs are going to ache sitting like that," Eddie grumbled.

"My thighs can handle this position for a while, I'll be fine," he said, and why, why did he have to be so damned Buck?

"Of course they can," Eddie said under his breath and shaking his head, making Buck smirk back at him.

37. Is it easier to forgive or forget? Ohhh I think both of these things are difficult, but for me I think it's easier to forget. I am no stranger to repressing certain things and I have a pretty crap memory anyways and I think pushing things away, either by making yourself forget or doing it subconsciously, is a lot easier to do

52. Do you believe everything happens for a reason? Not exactly. I'm not convinced that there's some big master plan, it makes more sense to me that things just happen willy nilly and we deal with what is randomly handed out to us

58. Favorite weather? For staying inside, I love when it's all dreary and grey and rainy, it makes me feel calm and safe. For going outside (which I admittedly don't do often) I like a little bit of sunshine and absolutely no wind

Inspiration Saturday ✨

A little snippet from the insomnia fic 💗

“I know you’re hurting, Eddie. But-… but it’s okay to ask for help. Whatever is going on with you, let me help you. Please” Buck’s voice is soft and almost pleading at the other end of the line.

And Eddie has to admit it to himself. Admit that not even a year after his wife died, he’s falling in love with his best friend. Scratch that, he knew exactly what he was feeling months ago but he didn’t want to admit to himself, didn’t want to admit that things were changing between them.

“I-…” Eddie takes a deep breath, trying to compose his thoughts because this is not the sort of thing that you tell someone over the phone. “I can only sleep when I’m on the phone with you. I don’t know… uh, I don’t know why that is but you just make me feel at ease, Buck” Eddie chews on his lip, hoping that he said the right words.

“And you take care of me and Christopher. You spend time with us, with me. And you never judge me. You always have my back, no matter what. Even if it means telling me that I’m an idiot” Eddie says, listening to Buck’s chuckling and he can almost see Buck rolling his eyes at him.

Buck’s chuckling fades and a moment of silence lingers between them. Eddie hates asking for help, hate that he needs it but he can’t care less right now. “Will you stay on the phone with me? Till… till I fall asleep?” Eddie’s voice is quiet and he can feel his cheeks heating up at the thought of saying something like this in front of Buck. Even though he knows that Buck would never judge him.

“Yeah, of course, Eds. Anything I can do to help” The softness of Buck’s voice allows a familiar warmth to fill throughout Eddie’s chest, instantly putting him at ease.

As for your question... yeah, I have to admit this had me going 👀👀👀. I immediately reblogged. It's all over Twitter now as well.

There are a few things here that make me sit up:

1. Tim, Oliver and Ryan have all put emphasis on the fact that episode 6 is an important episode for Buck and Eddie.

2. The photograph is a colour photograph. Oliver mostly takes black & white pictures on set. This one is bright and colourful.

3. 6th Street is used in the Ed Sheeran song 'photograph'. This song was played during a very important Buddie scene in season 3. Here are part of the lyrics:

Now Oliver posts a lamppost that says '6th Street'.

4. Oliver loves Buddie. He is an avid Buddie-truther. He knows exactly how much fandom wants Buddie to happen. He has a history of posting pictures of what would turn out to be important Buddie-scenes.

(5. Not directly connected to the picture, but couple all of this to Ryan's latest interview where he says that the move from Fox to ABC has allowed Eddie to go on a road of self-discovery in season 8.)

I always try to stay somewhat level-headed when it comes to theories like this, but this one?

Yeah, I honestly think we are taking another step closer to Buddie canon in episode 6. Might not be full-out canon yet, but definitely a big step.

I fully admit that this has me very excited for episode 6. 🤩🤩🤩
