After reading your post about Faye, I almost got a sense of deja-vu because I also had a similar rant about it.

Like that woman has been publicly out for a few years, privately even more (imo it was probably an open secret before she publicity came out). And no matter how "open" Thailand is for lgbtq ppl it's always a risk to come out, especially if you are already in a public light.

It's not Faye's, Yoko's, or 9star's problem that some people got "tricked" by other gl couple, and now in their opinion everyone is being fake and just doing it for "money."  And no matter how open and transparent any of them are (9star/fayeyoko), nothing is good enough for those people. Because like I've said they have been too delusional and were fucked over by other gl couples and their companies/studios.

So now that you have a openly out woman who is with a company that actually treats her and Yoko like human beings and doesn't rely on some stupid tricks so that they earn more money some people don't know how to behave. And in some instances are jealous because why couldn't my faves have company be like that. But that's just my opinion.

one particular on twitter was yapping about how Faye is in secret relationship with her salon partner (the way these assholes bullied that poor woman🤬) and she's cheating on her with yoko and yada yada yada, and how they are an excellent investigator. and their whole proof was couple of photos she had with Faye doing literally nothing LOL

so I looked at their older tweets, and boom they were a fan of another GL couple, and then they saw one of those actresses in pictures with a guy (again nothing explicit) and they started going off about how they were lied on, but to my understanding that other loveteam were like "we are single, we are phi-nong" the same way fayeyoko say (and I personally believe them because I simply dont ship)

so whether these people had "their dreams crushed" or they built a whole ass delusion to be mad about when it didn't come true is unclear to me.

and all the trolls I have seen look like they are disappointed from other GLs and apply the same bs on our girls

as for Faye, her family knew she was dating a girl early on. she said she didn't have to tell her mom, because her sister who (was very little at the time, asked her mom, and mom said "Faye is old enough now and she knows what she's doing" something along those lines and her baby sister told Faye back LOL so the cat was out of the bag soon, and her GF at the time was close to Faye's mom and sisters. her coming out to the public was around 2021~22 and after she got permission by the MGT boss, not to mention that with her coming out she paved the way for other MGT girls to be open up as well (two of her friends Lux, and Engfa for example)

KATHNIEL BREAK UP

Yes, they already broke up. I've been a fan since their loveteam begun. Their relationship worked for 11 years, and it hurts seeing them part ways and decided to grow individually. I know they also have their own decision, opinions in life, plans and life off cam, I do accept it. They started their relationship with respect, and it ended with respect. My kathniel heart can't just accept the fact, the truth, the reality that they really broke up but what can we do? I want to cry and give them a tight hug. Because after all, it was all the kilig they shared with their fans. Thank you so much, Kath and DJ. U've done ur part and will always be here to both of you, supporting u. We, are just ur fans and we can't do anything with the decision u've both agreed with and we are rooting for your success. Kayo lang at wala ng iba. Mahal na mahal ko kayo.

I'm definitely invested with the Kathniel breakup. Main reason is how Kath has beautifully put into words her feelings and confession that their loveteam and 11-year relationship is over. My heart breaks for her as if I am one of her close friends and I imagine myself rushing to her house, cry with her and do anything for her to forget her pain and to start healing.

There's no telling if she will heal at all. First love never dies. Sure thing, she will move forward, but we never know when she will heal despite of all the smiles flashing around social media in the next months. I am starting to love her as a person, her classy act is something I failed to do when I was a young girl in love and what she did is something to admire especially when it comes to relationships.

AB has always this repelling aura for me. She is definitely not my cup of tea and I cant imagine myself becoming one of her close friends. But I don't want to condemn her just because of this. I don't have any right to judge her and paint her with a certain fixed image for her entire life just because of this.

So what's the takeaway? I don't know yet. I deeply pray that God will do all the work to bless and punish who deserves it rightfully and TIME, the ultimate truth teller, will prove it.

I wrote this years ago and made some edits. Also, I wanted to add Amarro and Lila Sari to the list of interesting characters who turned out to be disappointments. I don't hate Alfred Vargas and Diana Zubiri (bitch they're the OG Danquil, how could I hate them?).

Lila Sari was such an interesting character and I feel sad that her love story with Hitano ended abruptly for the sake of the OG Danquil loveteam. She was so much more than that, and Hitano deserves better!

Up until now, I don't understand why and how Amarro ended up in Balaak. They had the chance to tell his story but again, they focused on the loveteam which made Alfred Vargas' comeback in Enca-verse a let down.

The many rant-worthy sh*ts of Encantadia 2016-2017:

These are my thoughts on Encantadia 2016-2017 so far and why I seem to be uninterested lately.

The Amihan-centric first season

-This is where all the shits began. Back in 2005, the story revolved around the four sisters who conquered their differences and saved Encantadia against Hagorn’s forces and became the most well-known and well-loved guardians of the four elemental gems. Now I’m not gonna be biased and say that the first season of the original trilogy didn’t have their own fair shares of Amihan-centricness, and it is unavoidable since Amihan was the queen during the first season so a huge chunk of the story revolves around her character. BUT the original book DID NOT FORGET that there are other main characters in the show and they had the chance to tell everyone their story, each of the sang’gres were given the spotlight, they had their own struggles, and showed how they overcame it and grew to become the pillars of Encantadia. That was the very reason why the original sang’gres were loved and recognized equally and became such effective quartet of heroines. The biggest mistake this new version has ever committed was making Amihan the center of the story, and while it’s not bad to give Amihan’s character a lot of scenes since like I said, she was the queen in book one so naturally her character will be involved in so many things that happened in the first book, but they focused on Amihan’s story way too much to the point that it downplayed the other main characters ESPECIALLY Alena who was almost always MIA. It got to a point when I almost forgot that she still exists in the story, and while I know that her character went missing for some time in the original story, gurl it didn’t take too long for her to come back. Jusko! Antagal bumalik ni Alena sa version na ‘to mga bes! Danaya was way too dependent on Amihan back then instead of Danaya being Amihan’s anchor and shoulder to lean on when she needed it the most, that role was given to Ybrahim when the YbraMihan love team rose to fame, and as much as I love YA, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for Danaya’s character to be downplayed in such a way that she [almost] ended up becoming Amihan’s sidekick. The writers say that there are four main characters in the story, but for me, there was only one. I love Amihan, but Encantadia is not just about her story or the love story of Ybrahim and Amihan.

The inconsistent storyline, The Unforgivable Plot holes and Plot fillers

A. Lira, the so-called savior of Encantadia

-I remember before that Cassiopeia mentioned that Lira will become the savior of Encantadia and will become queen in 2005, Lira wasn’t the typical hero, but what made her “savior” is that she was the one who mended the broken relationship of the sang’gres, she was the one who made the sisters realize that family is more important than anything, she saved Encantadia by saving the sang’gres, she united all of them together (which also paved way for the gems to become one again) and faced their common enemy, Lira became queen but relinquished the throne in exchange for a peaceful life with Anthony in the mortal world. But it was crossed out in this new version, sure Lira became the sisters’ conscience at some point of the story, but her story especially in the first book told the viewers that she was a clumsy little sang’gre, the irony of her character was interesting, and while her lack of understanding in the world of Encantadia was understandable except for those times when she kept getting herself in trouble because of her…carelessness (the original Lira was mischievous, but way smarter). The story in the 2016 version never highlighted how she became Encantadia’s hero. Lira’s presence in Pirena and Alena’s character redemptions weren’t as emphasized in comparison with the original storyline. Pirena redeemed herself after choosing to kill Hagorn and succumbed to Ether’s curse as a consequence in order to save Mira. Alena solely redeemed herself by choosing to let go to heal herself from pain, it was more on the sisters’ choices to redeem themselves and although at some point Lira became their guide, this little heroine focused more on shipping her parents way too much than reaching out to her Ashtis or coming up with “mischievous” ideas to bring the four of them together. There were a handful of scenes but it didn’t say much. She seriously could have used her playful character to come up with something to make the sisters realize how much they still love each other despite their dispute. Lira was like, “Ashti, come on team up with your sisters to fight the baddies” instead of making them realize that hatred will give them nothing but pain and suffering, which would have eventually led to Pirena and Alena’s self-realizations, like hello? Alena was alone most of the time and found comfort in Awoo, Lira could have used her persistence to help Alena find her way back to her family. Lira is a very wise kid, she was the eye-opener to everyone, she think and act the way she did because of the many struggles she went through, but in this new version, she turned into a forever fan girl of her mom. She wasn’t even given the chance to step out of Amihan’s shadow. And in the end, it was Amihan and Kahlil who saved Encantadia and brought the evil Hathoria down, in contrast to the sisters fighting together with the Sapirians, mandirigmas, and other encantados who by the way would have joined the battle because of Lira’s efforts (remember in the original series? Lira was the one who convinced the other encantados like the barbaros and adjantaos to join them in the war against Hagorn), Lira’s weapon to save Encantadia was her heart, Lira was the symbol for unity, that was the very reason why I loved her character as much as Amihan’s. In this series, Lira was a hard-core shipper of her parents and DanQuil, she clinged on her mother way too much, and forgot that she had an entire realm to save.

B. Cassiopeia’s incompetence

-This is probably one of the biggest plot holes in the entire show. That episode made the viewers believe that it was an accident, unintentional, blah, blah, blah. No, it was just Cassy’s stupidity. She knows and she’s fully aware that the Etherians are evil, being able to live during their reign, she had her own doubts about Avria’s peace-making act, she knew that Ether has been keeping a close eye on her, and yet she failed to grant protection to the island to prevent intruders from finding them. But what really frustrated me is the fact that she failed to realize that she just spread information to a fake Danaya, the sang’gres have a chance to win against the Kubur, they even would have figured out that monster’s weakness even without her, the youngsters have very limited skill and power, and if she sees them as the next generation who would be the protectors of Encantadia, wouldn’t it be more appropriate for her to save them first?

C. The epic fail adventures of the seven guardians

-An interesting subplot that had so much potential, but was completely WASTED! It was supposed to be their time, their chance to share their journey, but their story was cut short and ended in the most disappointing, nonsensical way for WHAT? Finding a missing goddess and her missing weapon? I mean come on!

D. The promised “character developments” for Lira and Mira

-I hated the fact that they promised character developments for Lira and Mira, then crushed our hopes for these two by killing them off. If the writers and DMR were up to something, I don’t think killing them was necessary, it’s already bad enough that Amihan died in the show. I would have loved to see an angsty side of Lira, how much she changed since her mother’s death and maybe Mira missing the best friend and soul sister she knew? I don’t fucking know! Just make their story interesting.

Lira’s character almost felt like…one-dimensional, I wish they explored [more] of her grieving/hurting side and then through the help of Arianna aka Amihan in another woman’s body, she will find healing and become stronger, wiser and more mature sang'gre. Mira on the other hand was quite complex in the first half of the show, I feel sad that she didn’t really have a huge role to play in the second half of the show. After Pirena’s redemption, and the closure between her and Anthony, I feel like there was nothing left for Mira to tell. Honestly, she was more fit to be the crown princess of Lireo, and Lira is more suited to take over Sapiro.

Moreover, I did not see how Lira and Mira evolve from immature diwanis to being sang’gres, I wanted to see their transformation from being girls to women, I wanted their story to be just as great as the four sang’gres. I don’t know what the hell they’re up to, but this season is more older sang’gre-centric than a balance between the stories of the current and future guardians. Major plot device they say? I’d say it’s their lame way of getting people’s attention because the sarkosi plot did not work.

D. The golden hourglass-whatever-the-fuck

-THIS WAS A FUCKING WRONG MOVE.

The concept of the existence of the golden hourglass in the 2016-2017 version didn’t make any sense. If they were gonna bring back that thing and the Etherians, then why not bring back Etheria altogether? And I mean re-telling of Etheria 2006 with Mine-a, her sister Amihan, Cassiopeia, her twin and Adhara as the main characters. Not only will we get to know more of their characters, the golden hourglass will also have a more significant purpose, and it would have paved the way to a much better or even epic storytelling in what would have been the 2017 version of Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas.

E. The sarkosi plot

-Like I said this is probably the reason why they had to come up with a major plot device, because this is the REAL EPIC FAIL in this story. Amihan was given the prize to create her own destiny which turned out to be a curse. Now here’s the thing, if Ether is able to resurrect a thousand-year-old Etherian using her power and the brilyante, then why can’t Emre do the same? I know this was necessary for Kylie to leave the show without Amihan’s story being left hanging, but still, seriously? If Emre is the god of life, shouldn’t he have granted Amihan another shot at life without her going through some shit and be a sarkosi or “create her own destiny?” And why did it take so long for that to happen? Then Arra would have had more time to improve, and if Amihan was given that extraordinary privilege, then why didn’t Emre allow her to go back when Amihan asked him? Pinahirapan pa siya jusmiyo. And in addition to that, I’m just not buying the Ybriana romance because it seems forced. There was no real relationship build up between Arianna and her (Amihan’s) family because they had to rush the storyline because of the time lm Honestly, this would have been an interesting subplot if they:

1. Chose a much better and much deserving actress

2. Focused on Arianna/Amihan’s journey rather than the plot fillers (Finding Haliyah and the Memfes side stories to name a few).

F. The lame and unconvincing love triangle

-I just feel so bad for Ru and Joross, these gentlemen are really working hard to cover up the lacking which Arra’s supposed to provide. I’m sorry but I consider this more of a plot filler than a subplot.

G. The poor characterization of the supposedly interesting characters

-Ariana: I wanted to kill her so badly when she let Lira die. Just when she needed to be Amihan-mode the most. Kapal pa ng fez para umaligid kay Rama ‘king ina, there was neither guilt nor trauma in her, she never thought of apologizing to Ybrahim and admit her short coming, in other words punyeta.

-Muyak: disappointed that she didn’t even felt that urge or desire to seek justice for her beloved Lira whom she looked after eversince she was a baby, I liked her when she was a lambana, but now—I’m not so sure.

-Pao Pao: what have they ever done to his character? He was such a joy when he was a little boy, so brave and the purest of heart. He was downplayed so badly that it seemed like he came back to the world of Encantadia just because. And btw, this may be an unpopular opinion but Pao being romantically linked to Lira is cringey af. Boy looked up to her as an “ate” or a big sister when he was a kid and I prefer that they stay in a sibling kind of relationship. He can crush on Luna/Deshna but Lira? No, just no.

-Avria: Ngl, I stan the Herans of Etheria and I really love how Etheria '06 told the backstory of our evil queen bitch, and I wish they did that in her 2017 counterpart. Eula Valdes was absolutely breathtaking, it’s just that Avria’s story wasn’t giving.

-Alena in the earlier episodes: From Gabbi’s pabebe acting to her being MIA in the first half of the show. But in all fairness, she was the only character who actually had the best character development in the show as a whole.

-Memfes: He’s Ybrahim’s counterfeit, that’s it. No real purpose, and I actually find it ridiculous that the reason why he pursued Alena was because he wanted to make babies with her and like…bring a new and improved version of Adamyans into the Enca-world like wtf? Who thought of this?

Moreover, why did they had to make him the “Ybarro” that Alena would have married in a heartbeat? A Memfes and Alena love story would have been possible, if they wrote Memfes as his own character. Someone who doesn’t remind Alena of her ex-lover in their younger years, someone who has a clear backstory, a clear purpose, and someone who can give Alena the love she rightfully deserves.

-Hagorn: they just turned him into an all out psycho, this would have been the perfect time to redeem his character and see his good side. But RaquiMin is returning so…

-Odessa, Juvila & Andorra: SAYAAAANG! For the record, Rochelle did well in playing Andorra but it was a wrong move since it gave out another plot hole in the sarkosi storyline, because if Andorra exists inside the body of Agane, why the hell was it difficult for Ybrahim to believe that Amihan is [probably] inside Arianna’s body?

As for Odessa and Juvila, idk their presence were just meh. It’s sad that they literally have no purpose in the show apart from being Avria’s minions, well they are but sis…they’re Herans…HERANS! I expected MORE. It’s just sad that all throughout the show they just faded into the background, almost non-existent.

-Haliyah: Again, another character who was added just because. Her story was there just to answer the question of Lila Sari’s true identity which also answered the question about her connection with Amihan. But in all honesty, I feel like this character could have given more.

The Endless introduction of nuisance characters and their REALLY BAD choices of actors

(SERIOUSLY, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!)

Arra San Agustin (Ariana)- I know I’ve been trash-talking her acting performance but come on, I’m sick and tired of the excuse that she’s new to the industry. A lot of the cast members are new as well, and they kept improving week by week. I didn’t see any.

Well, it must have been overwhelming for her to fill-in such a huge role, but the casting department could have chosen a much more experienced actress who could nail the character. I care more about seeing Amihan through Arianna than Arianna subconsciously trying to be Amihan like what Arra has been doing.

Jinri Park (Juvila)- Probably the second most cringe-worthy cast member. Miss Ma'am is Korean so she’s not fluent in Tagalog, she’s no Conan Stevens (dude was awesome btw) but talking in En-chan would have made her less cringey but alas! That along with her cringe-worthy performance turned Juvila, a badass heran into a big joke.

Lance Serrano (Memfes)-I don’t get why he’s in the show.

Valeen Montenegro- a good actress with a flop character.

There are so many other things I can add but these are all I think that are necessary to point out, hopefully Mine-a’s return will redeem the show, because at this point of time, I’m so done with the usual “soap writing.” The twists are clearly shocking and unexpected, but what came after the twists were truly disappointing, introducing of new characters and re-introducing old characters especially pivotal ones should be given to actors who can give what the viewers want and not just a bunch of pretty faces. We are no longer in July 2016 when the show is just starting, we are on the near-end of the saga and this is Encantadia, I don’t settle for less when it comes to this show. I expected so much in this season but they took everything I have rooted for and gave me some really uncool storyline and torture me with some lame performances. Everything is just disappointing, where’s Kylie when the show needs her the most?

Aha! I knew it. I was never fond of this Filipino male celebrity. Ever since before, I felt like something was off with him.

I remember every time I’d pass by, and his teleserye, that would go on for years, would be playing on the telly, I’d feel disgusted. I don’t even know why.

Now, I get it. The guy was already 26 when he first approached the girl, and she was only 13 at that time. And he did the “binakuran” thing, like he made sure that when she turned 16, they would be a loveteam here in the Philippines, and not only that he asked for them to be in the same movie. Because he didn’t want her to be partnered with anyone else. You might say, “oh! That’s tad romantic!” But nope! If you read his interview with her, way back in 2012. You would notice, the way he said some things. That were quite inappropriate. And she’s 16. The way she was portrayed into this “mature woman” for him to easily sleaze his way into her, and obviously make the public overlook it, is quite sickening.

And yes, let’s say she did give her consent. That’s what grooming is, mind you. She’s in love with him. Since she was 16. But how would she know, if the adults around her were already telling her that this is a good thing, this overly mature, famous guy, wants her.

And mind you, he even said, in one interview that when they first got together when she’s already 16, because remember he wanted to court her when she’s only 13, he said he was mean to her. Um? Isn’t that what manipulative people would do? Treat you badly then treat you good the next time, to confuse you and to make you want them more?

The Storytelling Continues: Inside the Minds of Cinephiles

Watching a film is probably among the simplest joys of life. Whatever its genre, format, storyline, or actors, the audience watching a film is bound to feel something that makes their mind think and process what the film has to offer. On the one hand, some people are understandably not fond of it, but on the other hand, there is also a large population who simply cannot get enough of watching a single film from time to time— they are what we call cinephiles.

Cinephilia is the term used to describe the passionate interest and enthusiasm for films. One can consider themselves a cinephile if they have a strong appreciation for film as an art form, as the definition can be loose and cannot exactly be put into a box.

In the context of the present, there are countless ways one can watch a film aside from the usual way of going to movie theaters and watching on the big screens. This can either be through televisions, with TV stations broadcasting films within their airtimes, or through countless streaming websites and platforms with their convenience for the viewer to watch at any given time.

It is important to take note that regardless of where the film was shown, a person’s enthusiasm for films is certain to develop if what they watched truly resonated with them and the film has something they can remember for days and even years to come. This is how a cinephile is born.

Dorothy, a 17-year-old, enjoys films about mysteries. At a young age, she came to love film watching, and her favorite is the Bollywood film 3 Idiots, released in 2013. What she likes about it are the moral lessons, the actors, and the jokes certain to tickle people’s funny bone.

Iya, a 19-year-old, loves films with a touch of romance and tragedy. For her, it does not necessarily matter whether the films are local or foreign-produced, as long as the reviews or synopsis are fine. She looks forward to watching the recently released 2023 Summer Metro Manila Film Festival entry film Yung Libro sa Napanood Ko, directed by Bela Padilla.

“As long as the storyline is justifiably delivered and the moral of it is well messaged, that is how long the movie should be”, she said when asked how long a film should run. This was evident with her favorite film, The Day After Valentine's, released in 2018, as the film has a runtime of less than a couple of hours and perfectly explores the complexity of being in love.

“The main characters there tend to fix each other while they themselves are broken. This kind of plot got me [a] big time as it shows how consuming it is to pour on a cup from an empty glass”, she added.

Mary, a 21-year-old critical cinephile, says she doubts watching the 2022 film An Inconvenient Love, starring Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan, also known as the popular loveteam “DonBelle”. Just some random thoughts

I've read up some of my older post about "AlDub", a loveteam that I previously followed. It was back inm 2015, before I became an ARMY.

I cringed a bit, but those were my thoughts back in 2015 and nostalgia just hits me.

Back when I was really a fan, I watched "KalyeSerye" everyday, I went to Alden's album launching, I followed them on Twitter and tried to read updates on them and all the KalyeSerye characters everyday. I even started a blog about them, (not that it has a lot of entries, because I am so lazy kekeke)

I realize how fast the time changes. To be honest, back in the day, I was so into the idea of KalyeSerye, despite how shallow it may seem to others, how "non-sense" it may be, back then, it was an inspiration to me, it was a safe haven. Times when I have given up on love, it made me believe in forever once again. That there is still a chance and I might stumble with "The One" one day.

Fast forward, 8 years later, I am still single, no boyfriend since birth, still the old me, older but none the wiser. The only difference is, I came to a point where I stopped thinking about love, just contented with being myself, to be honest, I am already sold to the idea of growing old alone, what an old maid mentality.

It's just that, I think romance is not for everybody. Don't get me wrong, I am not bitter about people finding love, I am genuinely happy for them, but as for me, I stopped imagining myself being with somebody someday. He may or may not came, probably not in this lifetime. But I would like to be at peace that even with myself, I have God by my side.

I am not closing my doors, but I am not actively looking either. I am at the age wherein, I don't want something that is temporary, I want something that last. Not looking for a Knight in shining armor anymore, I am not a damsel in distress. I am just someone who is lonely and wanted someone to listen patiently to my rants and my randomness. But, if there isn't one, then I will be fine.

Change 2561 - their latest batch was pretty diverse in terms of stories so they could dare do a triple show about mafia girls

Idolfactory - have a large enough stable of women with as many as 4 couples (frung27 are not an official loveteam but people have been crying for them). They also have a recent record of producing several shows per year.

9star - they don't have the stable but they are ambitious, although word on the street is that they have another age gap adaptation (from this author) for fayeyoko already lined up

Channel3 - the huge success of the secret of us may have emboldened them to produce a bigger gl project

It has been announced that these three novels will be adapted. WHICH CAN ONLY MEAN ONE THING….. mafia GL universe. I have MANY thoughts. It’s unconfirmed which company this is by but I hope it can come out well because the concepts are so fucking cool.

after many back and forths, someone literally asked that homophobic idiot "who hurt you"

and they named another GL love team actress who dates a man

so I concluded, like with every other trollish shit thrown at Faye, P'wan, 9stars, blanket the series, and Yoko, all come from jealous parasocial little shits, who think these GL actresses owe them their lives of whatever, and get mad when their own delulu fantasy was not true because the majority of these actors are simply not out queers like Faye.

they trashed blank the series from the beginning, and yet it exploded in popularity because the creators made the right decisions writing wise, hired a gorgeous out and proud sapphic to play the lead role, and on top of that the actual direction and photography of the show was beautiful, and all the scenes felt realistic and not forced like their fav other GLs with their slow motions and blinding lighting.

and their jealousy became so overwhelming, they now attack our actresses (mostly Faye) and our wonderful CEO and 9stars.

it's actually ridiculous because FayeYoko continue to thrive as a loveteam and 9stars has announced that they will do a new work next year

and honestly I feel for Faye because those assholes not only attack her personally, and try to defame her, but also attack her friends and family who are not celebrities (like her salon partners)

Filipinos do take loveteams seriously. I think in every generation there's a prominent loveteam that fans would fight for. In 2015, there was a loveteam that started on a noontime show (Filos here would now this.haha.). the premise is it's an unscripted segment, and we get to see their love story progress on tv. they got so big that they had the guinness world record for most tweets in a day. this would later on be surpassed by bts. they would go on a few "dates", their families would hype them up on social media, but they didnt get together as a couple. I doubt if they were even friends.haha. when someone else courted the girl, this other guy was really crucified on social media.they dated but the loyal fans still held on to the original pair, believing they have kids that they are hiding or when the guy goes live apparently you would see baby clothes/toys in the background. haha. the girl even had to send dms to certain fans saying they are not a couple but the fans thought they were just talking to a social media manager. now the girl's engaged but some fans still won't let go.I imagine it would be total chaos if one day the bts maknae line reveal their partners

I had an idea that the couples were famous, that it was a show people liked a lot but I didn't know so much.

It really is pretty much what I mean when I say that ships are usually, for the most part, a projection of personal romantic ideals. The first couple, the one that was going during the show was probably the perfect love story for the shippers. It does not matter that it was fake. Some of those shippers probably knew that it was fake. Even if it was fake, it was still perfect for them.

I don't know if it's related but I've said before how BTS relationships are all real precisely because they're not perfect. They all have flaws and they all have moments that we're watching and thinking "damn why did they treat him like that". But that's what real life is. Sometimes you just mess up. I would actually be less trusting of something that looks perfect, because perfect social interactions rarely are genuine.

Back to the topic, I actually think "phenomenons" like that are quite common, even if they don't reach such heights, even if the shippers don't become so delusional. I'm thinking of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, for example. I'm not sure if Gaga was single or not at the time but Bradley Cooper was married when he worked with Gaga, and people shipped them and magazines and media outlets talked about their chemistry and actually wondered if there was more going on. That was a ship even though, at least Bradley, actually had a wife.

There was Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac, too. Both married, yet still people were hooked on their little "romantic" anthics that they used to promote their movie. They had great chemistry together, looked very good together, and they knew how to make use of that favorable situation. People shipped too even while knowing perfectly well that there was nothing real there except friendship and that they were both married to other people.

Illusion sells. It sells a lot and it's a well that hardly ever runs dry. You don't even need to do much to keep it going because the fans/shippers will keep it going no matter what.

Larries are still a thing even if Harry and Louis haven't publicly acknowledged each other for a decade. It's the shippers that are still carrying that torch.

Last year I said that even if Taehyung and Jennie confirm to be dating each other, or there are more undeniable proof of them as a couple, that still wouldn't be a reason to stop people from shipping taekook. Because taekook is ideal for tkers, the same way vmin is ideal for vminers. It really is not about what's real or not but what does look real TO YOU, and what can you personally understand, what can you emotionally get involved with and what type of relationship dynamics you can sympathize with.

Two photos of taennie could definitely plant a seed of doubt, but in the end what you know is taekook (let's say you're a taekooker). You know how Jungkook and Taehyung talk to each other, you know how they hug, you've seen them sleeping in the same bed, cuddling, sharing food. On the other hand, you don't know anything about taennie. It's just two people taking a photo in a mirror.

So between supporting or believing in something you know vs something you don't know, I think the answer is quite clear. People will keep supporting what they've already decided looks real to them (in the case of the loveteam, it wasn't the second couple).

I don't know if you're a jikooker and if you are, I don't know how much you believe in them. But just to mention a similar example, it's how sometimes we joke about Jimin with his friends or Eunwoo, and everyone understands that it's a joke because kind of crazy because we don't really know anything about the way Jimin is with his friends. So what would make more sense to you, eunmin or jikook? Of course it's jikook.

Shipping is definitely a more widespread attitude and normalized in some countries more than others, too. Here, it's not really a thing and it's very looked down upon and ridiculed. Even straight couples. However, people love gossip. Masses won't be really interested in a love story but they will tune in for when the couple breaks up and there's drama.

We are all locked up

Pandemic did a lot to her, everything changed.

After taal volcanic eruption we experienced, we went back to school. After a few weeks of going to school announcement spreading, there will be no classes starting thursday of that week until friday because school needs to sanitize the school because of the spreading virus.

We are so happy that time because it will be a long weekend. Without knowing that long weekend will last for two executive years.

We are locked up in our home. Schools, malls, and all of the establishments were closed. So we have nothing to do.

Back then, I went back reading wattpad stories. And then, I saw that my current favorite story will have a series adaptation, so I search who will be the casts and I saw Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.

After a lot of searching and browsing I saw their twitter they already have a fandom, so I decided to create a stan account so show support to them.

She only thought that her fangirl era will last for only a few weeks. She supports DonBelle for two years and now became a silent fan.

I witnessed almost all of the struggles and success of DonBelle, their loveteam is called pandemic loveteam because they were introduced amid pandemic even if we are lack in opportunities because we're locked up in our home we still manage to put them on trendlist in twitter and trending in tiktok by doing a twitter party and making some video edits. And now they are the New Phenomenal Loveteam of the Philippines.

I met a lot of people in this fandom they are my internet friends we share same interests and stories they brought colors into my dull quarantine season.

My red and black heart will forever beat for Donato and Belinda.

Ibinigay ng kanyang ama ang address sa kanyang ina sa telepono at iyon ang pupuntahan nilang mag ina

Sakay sila ng pulang kotse at kasalukuyang bumabagtas sa Calle Trese isang mahabang kalye na tila walang katapusan at puro talahib ang magkabilang gilid ay may napansin si ysa sa kanyang ina.

“Ma bakit nanginginig po ang mga kamay nyo?” Nagtatakang tanong ni ysa sa kanyang ina na si lisa na nooy nasa harap ng manibela ng sasakyan.

“W- w- wala Anak, wala, sagot ng kanyang ina.

“Wala”?? Tumaas ang isang kilay ni Ysa palatandaang hindi naniniwala .

“Sige na Ma please,,,, magsabi ka, bakit po? Masama ba augygng pakiramdam nyo? Gusto nyo ba na ako na muna ang magmaneho? May lisensya naman na ako dahil kumuha kami ni papa ng drivers license nung nag 17 po ako dba Ma, sabi ni ysa sa kanyang ina..

Sa halip na sumagot iniharang ni Lisa ang hintuturo sa may labi, senyas na tumahimik na ang anak..

Napakunot noo si Ysa, Tipong Nawi - weirdohan sa ina, Ilang sandali pa at may natanaw si ysa.,

“ Aba, Ma! Look! Sabi ni Ysa sa kanyang ina, May bahay rin naman palang nakatayo rito sa Calle Trese! Hayun O! At itinuro pa nito ang Bahay Misteryosa na bagaman malayo layo pa ay kitang-kita na.

Bukod sa mataas at malaki ang bahay ay nag iisa lang iyong nakatayo, walang humaharang kaya kahit malayo ay tanaw na tanaw.

Muling sumenyas ang ina na tumahimik ang anak pero hindi nakatiis si Ysa kaya’t nagsalita na naman sa kanyang ina,

“Ma!” Bakit ba kanina mo pa ako inuutusang manahimik? Wala naman akong masamang sinasabi! Isa pa, kahit siguro magsigawan tayong dalawa dito ay walang makakarinig.,

“A-a- Akala mo lang iyon Ysa!, Pero Meron! Meron! At kapag hindi nila nagustuhan ang pambubulabog mo sa kanila ikaw rin ang mape- perwisyo sabi ng kanyang ina  na nasa mata pa din ang matinding takot..

Napangiti si Ysa sabay tanong sa ina, “Ma, Are you Okay? Sino ang mabubulabog natin sa ilang na lugar na ito?”

“Ang mga nakatira sa “VILLA MISTERYOSA!” Sabi ng kanyang ina na may diin sa huling sinabi..

“Ang mga nakatira sa....... Saan nga ulit Ma? Tanong ni Ysa sa kanyang ina..

Sa “VILLA MISTERYOSA”! At hayun na ang bahay na iyon!, malapit na tayong magdaan sa bahay na iyon!, sabi nang takot na takot na ina ni ysa na halata sa boses ng kanyang ina ang pagkatakot..

Talaga namang magdaraan tayo sa tapat nuon at hindi maaaring hindi, ano ang problema duon Ma? Tanong ni ysa sa kanyang ina,

Malaki! Ah!, kung mayroon nga lang tayong ibang madaraanan papuntang San Ildefonso, hindi ako magdaraan dito eh! Sabi ng kanyang ina..

“Bakit nga eh?! Tanong na naman ni Ysa sa kanyang ina...

Sapagkat hindi na iilang tao ang naririnig kong motorista na nagkukwento ng kanilang mga nakakakatakot na experiences nila kapag dumaraan sila sa tapat ng “Villa Misteryosa!”, Hindi lang iyon, Mayroon pa ngang tuluyang inabot ng sakuna! Kung hindi man sa tapat ng bahay ay kung malapit na sila dito o nakalampas na,, sabi ni lisa sa anak...

At naniniwala ka naman duon Ma? Tanong at sabi ni Ysa sa kanyang ina,

At bakit naman hindi? Sabi ni lisa sa kanyang anak,, Isa sa mga iyon ay ang kapitbahay nating si Luzvimida, Kilala mo si Aling Luz mo hindi ba? Hindi sya sinungaling, Hindi nya gagawing umimbento lalo pa at at namatay ang asawa nya dahil sa pagdaan nila sa lugar na ito,,

Bakit ano ba ang naranasan nila? Interesadong tanong ni Ysa sa kanyang ina,,

Mamaya na lang kita sasagutin kapag nasa bahay na tayo ng kaibigan ng Papa mo sabi ni lisa sa kanyang anak, Sa ngayon ay Tumahimik ka na lang muna at magdasal,, Aniya pa ni Lisa,

  Hindi man nagsalita ay hindi naman sinunod ni Ysa ang huling sinabi nang kanyang ina, bagkus kasing magdasal ay pinakatitigan pa niya ang natatanaw na bahay kastila.  Nabuhay ang kanyang kuryosidad sa sinabi ng ina.

Kaya habang papalapit sila doon ay tinalasan niya ang kanyang pakiramdam,

Nagtaka siya, Nang malayo pa sila ay madilim ang tingin niya sa bahay-kastila, Ngunit nang sila ay papalapit ng papalapit lalo siyang nakadama ng pagtataka,

“Dahil may naaninag siyang liwanag,  Hindi Lang iyon may narinig ding siyang musika na nagmumula sa loob ng bahay-kastila,,

Nang mapatapat ang mag ina, sa bahay ay tuluyang lumiwanag ang Bahay-Kastila, Lumiwanag din pati ang buong bakuran, At mas lumakas pa ang musika na hindi mo maintindihan kung anong tugtugin.,

“A- “Aria”?! Sambit ni Lisa....

“Anong Aria? Tanong ni ysa sa kanyang ina,

“Aria” musika para sa patay..... sabi nang nahihintakutang ina ni ysa sa anak..

“M- “Musika” para sa...... Inaaaaaaaaaaaannnngggg!!!!!!! Takot at sigaw na sabi ni ysa na pinaninindigan ang balahibo....

Diniinan ni Lisa ang selinyador ng sasakyan upang makaalis agad sila sa tapat ng bahay-kastila, ngunit sa kanyang pagtataka ay hindi nagbabago ang kanilang kinaroroonan, hindi umuusad ang sasakyan, hindi umaalis doon ang kanilang sasakyan.

“M-Ma, Anong nangyayari? Napapaiyak nang tanong ni Ysa sa kanyang ina,,

  Ngayon alam mo na, sagot ni lisa sa anak, Ito ang sinasabi ko sayo!,,  Nararanasan na natin ang nararanasan ng iba at ni aling luz, sabi pa nito sa anak,,

Nararanasan na natin ang Dulot ng “VILLA MISTERYOSA” !!!!

“Ma!,, Ma!,, Baka tuluyan na tayong hindi makaalis dito! Iyak ng Iyak at nahihintakutang sabi ni ysa sa ina,.

Takot na takot din ang inang si Lisa, hindi lang para sa kanya kundi para na din sa kanyang anak, Ayaw nya na may mangyaring masama para sa kanila at sa kanyang anak,,

Paano kung mapatulad sila sa iba na hindi tinantanan ng mga espiritung nananahan sa Bahay-Kastila? Paano kung tuluyan silang patayin? O kung hindi man ay mamatay sila sa matinding takot?,,

Muling diniinan ni lisa ang selinyador ng sasakyan ngunit sa halip na bumilis ay tuluyan lang itong tumigil..

Nanlalamig ang katawan ng ina ni ysa, at matinding pinagpapawisan, ginawa nito ang lahat upang mai start muli ang sasakyan ngunit nanatili iyong nakahinto,.

Maya maya, naramdaman ng mag ina na tila sila prutas na hinog na kinakalog sa loob, kasabay noon, may narinig silang matitinis na tawanan.,

M- Ma, Nandito ang mga Espirito! Ano ang gagawin natin? Tanong ng luhaang si Ysa sa ina.

  Hindi sumagot si Lisa sa anak sa halip ay napangiwi ito sabay dakot ng kamay sa gitna ng dibdib.

“M-Ma?! Ma?! “ Tawag ni Ysa sa Ina.

Pero hindi na nakapagsalita pa ang kanyang ina., at tuloy tuloy na itong dumausdos sa pagkakaupo.

Malakas na napasigaw si Ysa sa ina...

“Maaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!! “Diyos ko!!!!!!! Diyos ko!!!!!!!! Amang Mahabagin!!!!!!!! Tulungan nyo po kami Diyos ko!!!!!!!!! Sigaw Dasal ni Ysa....

Pagkasigaw at pagkawika ni Ysa sa katagang “Diyos ko” saka lang tumigil ang pag uga ng kotse...

Nasa tabi na nya ang kanyang ama na nalaman agad ang nangyari sa kanyang mag ina, sobra ang pagsisisi nito sa sarili dahil kung hindi sana sya nagpasundo pa sa kanyang mag ina hindi sana mawawala ang kanyang asawa at hindi mato trauma ang kanyang anak,,.

Mga ilang sandali pa ay napakalma na ito ng mga pulis pati na mga nagkakagulong press at pinilit na makuhanan ng impormasyon,.

  Maging ang mga nakabasa sa balitang iyon ay nangilabot, ilan sa mga hindi naniniwala ay naniwala na din dahil sa pangyayari ngunit ang iba dito ay iba talaga ang pinaniniwalaan, kanya kanyang haka haka,

Galit na galit ang producer ng Emerald Films na si Mother Ignacia sa kanyang location manager na si Eroz.

“Dalawang Linggo na lang, Eroz! Dalawang linggo na lang at magsisimula na ang horror film na gagawin natin! Pero hanggang ngayon! Hanggang ngayon! Kahit bahay ng ipis at daga ay wala ka pang ipiniprisinta sa akin!” Pahiyaw na sabi ni Mother Ignacia sa kanya..

“Mother, hindi nga ba yung lumang White House sa Baguio?”

Yung mansiyong iyon? Ilang beses na iyong nagamit ng ilang production! Ano na lang ang sasabihin sa atin ng mga movie-goers, wala tayong originality? Ang gusto kong pag shootingan ng horror films na gagawin natin ay ngayon pa lang makikita sa screen!”

Kahit raw nga artistang  gaganap dapat ay first time na makikita ang bahay na kanilang gagamitin.

Alalahanin mo na hindi basta basta ang pelikula nating ito! Napakatagal bago ko nakumbinsi si Anna Villasis na gumanap sa production ko! Kaya ang lokasyon ay kailangang maging Convincing!”

Kumunot ang noo ni Eroz, Paano naman, wala na talaga siyang maisip na mapag shoo shootingan ng nakakatakot na pelikulang kanilang gagawin,, Lalo pa at ang gusto ng may katarayang producer nya ay isang bago at naiibang lugar..

Narinig mo na ba ang tungkol sa “Bahay- Misteryosa?!” Tanong ni Francheska sa pinsang si Eroz,

“Bahay-Misteryosa?!” Sumilay ang ngiti sa labi ng pinsan, Oo nga pala! Bakit nga ba nakalimutan ko ang Son’na bitch na bahay na iyon!”

Pero itong huling pangyayari? Paano mo ipaliliwanag ito ha?!

Mismong ang 17 year old na si ysa ang nagkukwento sa na experience nila,.

Kulang lang siguro sa pansin ang batang iyon, O kaya naman ay masyadong nilaro ng media ang istorya, alam mo naman ang mga diyaryo at balitang iyan, tumaas lang ang sirkulasyon kahit ang isulat ay puro kahangalan,,.

Nag isip si Francheska, Ganuon nga kaya? Baka nga naman ginagawa lang sensational ng media ang kwento tungkol sa Villa Misteryosa, At siya ay kabilang sa mga natatakot na hindi naman dapat matakot.,

Pero alam mo kung ano ang naiisip ko?, Pagkatapos naming makapag shooting sa bahay na iyon, Hindi na iyon tatawaging “Villa Misteryosa”,. Hindi na rin iyon pagkakatakutan, at ang mga motoristang magdadaan doon ay hindi na rin magmamadali,.

Sana nga! Hindi naman kasi talaga dapat na katakutan ang isang bagay na hindi naman pala tunay na katakot takot.,

That’s what i mean pinsan, Oh, paano Go na tayo?!

Noon nga rin, sumakay na sila sa kotse ni Eros at nagtungo sa lugar kung saan matatagpuuan ang bahay kastilang tinitirhan ng mga multo,.

  Habang nasa daan, may napupuna si Francheska,

Bakit biglang-bigla naman yata ang pagdidilim ng kalangitan? May bagyo bang darating?.

Wala naman akong alam. Kaya lang, ang mga ganyang pangyayari ay hindi mo na dapat pagtakhan, alam mo na , tumatanda na ang mundo, kaya nagiging ulyanin na, kaya nga kahit panahon ng tag araw ay panay ang ulan. At kung kailan naman rainy days saka titirik nang matindi ang araw,.

Kunsabagay nga...

Maya- maya nga ay bumuhos na ang malakas na ulan, at halos hindi na nila makita ang daraanan..

Itigil mo muna sa isang tabi Eroz, Mahirap na baka maaksidente pa tayo, sabi ni Francheska.

Sinunod naman ni Eroz ang sinabi ng pinsan, itinabi nya muna ang sasakyan sa gilid ng kalsada para patilain ang napakalakas na ulan.

May 20 minutos din silang naghintay na tumila ang ulan bago nila itinuloy ang byahe papuntang “Bahay Misteryosa”.

Linsyak na ulan na yan, pang abala!! Sa halip na  nasa Calle Trese na tayo eh!! Sabi ni Eros..Di bale bibilisan ko na lang,,

Huwag! Kita mong basang basa ang kalsada eh, awat ni Francheska.

Nagmenor naman si Eros at nagdahan dahan sa pagpapatakbo ng sasakyan, at habang lumalapit sila sa patutunguhan ay gumaganda naman ang sikat ng araw.,

See?! Dito pa pala sa bahaging ito ng mundo maganda ang sikat ng araw, pagkatapos ay ito pa ang pinagkakatakutan.

Hindi kalaunan at narating nila ang pakay.

Ang inaasahan ni Francheska, ang kanilang makikita ay ang dating hitsura ng bahay kastila na may kandado ang kalawanging gate na bakal, Masukal na solar na tinutubuan ng kung ano-anong klaseng damo, Nakapinid at tahimik na tahimik na antigong bahay, ngunit mali ang dalaga, sapagkat....

Ako po si Eros Nire, Location Manager ng Emerald Films., Napipisil ko po sanang pagshootingan ng susunod naming pelikula ang bahay na ito, kung maaari po, gusto ko po sanang makipag usap sa may ari..” 

Sa sinabing iyon ni Eros, lumingon sa mga kasamahan ang lalaki na tila hinihintay ang opinyon ng mga iyon..

Lumapit ang babaing naka maid’s uniform,.

Wala rito ngayon ang mga amo namin! Nasa Espanya Sila,. Sabi nito na walang kangiti ngiti.

“Espanya??” Tanong ni eros,

Tumango ang kaharap.

Nanlumo at nanghinayang si eros.

Sayang! Kailangang kailangan ko pa naman silang makausap.”

Pero mamayang gabi, naririto na ang mga iyon,” muling sabi ng babae.

Ibig nyong sabihin pauwi na sila ng pilipinas?

Hindi maaaring hindi, may kasayahang gaganapin mamayang gabi dito..

Nagkaruon ng pag asa si Eroz..

Kaya pala panay ang linisan dito! Kung ganoon, pwede namin silang hintayin?”

“Hindi puwede,” wala pa ring kangiti ngiti noong tugon., Kapag ganitong pagtitipon, ang nais lang makahalubilo ng aming mga panginoon ay ang buo nilang angkan. 

Ganoon ba? Hindi bale, babalik na lang kami bukas. 

Maghintay ka ng siyam na araw bago ka bumalik.. sabi ng babae 

Siyam na araw?! Ano naman iyon? Parang padasal sa patay!! Napalakas ang tinig ng kikay na si Eros, Bakit naman ang tagal?  

Wala na akong trabaho noon! Tatlong araw lang ang taning na ibinibigay ng boss ko!       

Wala akong magagawa, kung hindi ka makakapaghintay, makakaalis ka na. Sige na at naabala mo kami.”

Nang talikuran sila nang babae, napaismid si Eros,.

Suplada!! Kung hindi pa sya “Maid of Honor”.

Nang mapatingin ito kay Francheska na walang kakibo-kibo ay tinapik niya ito..

Hoy! Ano na naman ang iniisip mo?

“A- Ang mga taong iyon Eros... hindi mo ba napansin? Parang mga robot kung kumilos at magsalita! Saka ang mga kulay, ang puputla! Parang walang mga dugo!”

Ikaw mang iyan ang paglinisin ng ganyang kalaking bakuran, ewan ko kung hindi ka rin mamutla sa pagod! Naku Francheska!! Tayo na nga! Naaburido lang ako sa sagot ng mga tao rito!

Paano ang lakad mo? Mukhang walang malinaw na sagot?

Kung ang supladang maid of honor ngang iyon ang makakausap mo, wala ka talagang matinong sagot na matatanggap.

Pero sa ikalawang araw, sa ayaw niya at sa gusto ay babalik ako at kakausapin ko ang may ari. Dapat nga bukas naalala ko lang, pagod pa ang mga iyon sa byahe at sa gaganaping party mamaya kaya sa ikalawang araw ko na lamang pupuntahan at kakausapin,.

Hindi kaya ang magaganap na party ay...... “Party ng mga multo?” Tanong ni Francheska..

Aba! Mas maganda! Ano! Join Tayo? Huwag na tayong umalis dito at hintayin na natin ang dilim! Makijoin Tayo sa party ng mga multo! Sabi ni Francheska habang natatawa sa sariling biro nya pero si Francheska din ang unang natakot, muntik pa itong madapa sa pagmamadaling makabalik sa kotse.

Ikalawang araw mula ng sadyain nila Eros at Francheska ang Bahay-Kastila ay maagang gumising si eros para balikan ang Villa Misteryosa at makausap ang May-Ari ng bahay na iyon.

Maaga siyang pupunta roon sapagkat nag iisa na  lang siya na pupunta dahil may pasok na sa opisina si francheska at wala na syang makakasama pagbalik nya ng Villa.

Nakapaligo na noon si Eros at nagsusuot na ng bestida, nang kumatok ang maid nilang si diday

Mam Eros, May nagpapabigay po nito sa inyo..

Isa pong babaing naka maid’s uniform, Selya daw po ang kanyang pangalan, Ipinabibigay daw po ito sa inyo ng kanyang amo. Aniya ni Diday..

Agad Binuksan ni Eros ang Saradong Envelope, Isang Sulat at Bungkos ng Susi ang laman nito.

Kanino kaya galing ang sulat na ito para saan ang mga susing ito? Takang tanong nya sa sarili..
