Gabby, i was inspired by @bidisasterevankinard talking about little blobs verse and how Nonna Rosa would be there for both of them. But i’m thinking of how she would be if Tommy was pregnant. I think she would do a lot of the same as she would with Buck, but I also think she would worry just a bit more because it’s her Tommy, and since he is older it’s a riskier pregnancy. She wants to make sure both Tommy and her (favorite) great grandchild are safe and healthy during the birth and afterwards.

Can you imagine how Nonna would be if her darling Tommasino was pregnant? She'd be the happiest, but most overprotective grandmother in the world!!!

She'd fly to LA the moment she hears about the pregnancy, armed with all the best recipes to make sure he's healthy and getting his fair intake of vitamins. Between her hovering and Buck's, Tommy would barely be able to lift a finger the whole pregnancy ('Tommasino, if I see you near a heavy bag again I will wack your hand with a spoon, so help me Dio!')

Nonna'd definitely worry, of course. She's seen so many things in her life, including her fair share of high risk pregnancies. She'd ask Buck mainly, because she knows Tommy would want to sugarcoat things for her, and she wants to know what's going on ('Tell me everything the doctor says, Evanino, please. I need to take care of my bambino.).

I think Buck would confide in her so much, going to her for advice all the time. And for every pregnancy symptom/milestone she gets to see or the boys tell her about, she'd be reminded of Tommy's mother, and she'd wistfully think of how proud she would be of her boy.

And Nonna herself , of course, would be so so happy and proud for her bambino. She'd watch Tommy's bump grow and smile with so much love, putting her hand over it and singing so sweetly in Italian to them 🥹🥹 ('You are so loved, piccolino. Your Nonna can't wait to meet you').

Via darling thank you for this ask, you made me realize I have lots of thoughts about Nonna and pregnant Tommy and I think I'll have to do sth about it!!!

Thunder looms, and out on the lake through the floor to ceiling window lightning strikes. The room illuminates for but a single solitary moment, but it's enough.

A shock of white hair and flecked deep red on her clothes to match the lipstick on her mouth, and the white of her teeth as the human wolf grins up at her.

"Now that wasn't very nice of you."

"Outlaw," the countess recognises. Another defender of the Door in it for the money, who had vanished into the darkness of the night the moment Adlersbrunn was saved – or to the depths of the dungeons and quite a few vaults, given the immediate spate of petty robbery in the days after, written off as inevitable after zomnics take the town prisoner.

Her doing, as it happens. Her doing still. The outlaw had asked her, once, if she'd run into any thieves, and she'd told her hounds had.

It makes sense now why that doesn't and didn't bother her.

Another crash. Boom, boom, boom, like shotgun pellets. The outlaw does a dignified miniature rolling wave with her good arm, only it's not so good, as she winces and cradles it back toward her body. Her shirt hangs limp across one shoulder, with the majority of it wrapped around her torso, covering her ribs. Even she's surprised by how many scars she has. Wrapped around every bone and healed over, a thorn patch of ivy or roses. Yes, the perfume's odour makes sense, now. She vaguely recollects the fondness with the ink of a vine around her forearm, about the one place that isn't scarred. Clearly, this isn't the first scrape the outlaw hasn't perished in and lived.

No matter how much she heals, the reminder never fades.

It's different to a vampire. Or maybe just the same. The wounds on her neck pulse, faintly, and the countess rolls her shoulder. Regardless of her scars or her underdressed state, that still doesn't explain what exactly she's doing in her chateau and her parlour other than getting blood all over the upholstery.

"Why are you here?"

"Because someone," she labours, clicking her tongue, "shot me."

"I shot the wolf that stalks the town," the countess says cooly, folding her arms as she stalks into the room but stays standing, and the outlaw is still quite at home despite her presence, and she has the gall to shrug. She wonders why she tore her shirt to bandage herself, and not the intact hood and cape, still up over her head. "You are not innocent in this."

"I'm not here to talk innocence," the outlaw sniffs, dismissing her with a flick of her fingers. "I'm here to patch myself up. And I know an opportunity when I see one. I wondered how you'd been keeping since the door incident. So. Whatever scheme you're running, I want in."

As I type this I am consumed with a current project, but some experiments take time. So, while I let it sit, I’ll pen this out to you. I said it once before, that love should not be a secret. I have thoughts about *that* storyline in Love Life

Friends, Romans, Candy-ladies, lend me your ears; I’m about to write a damn essay lol.

It’s been a hot minute, so I think we can all safely dissect [LARGE INHALE] the cheating storyline.

Off the bat, I want to make it clear that I do not vibe with having the option to cheat on your partner.  Not really sure why BeeMov and ChiNo decided to go that route, but they did. Some people enjoyed the choice or the change in pace, which is valid.  It definitely shook things up. Personally, not my cup of tea so I didn't follow that path.

But my favorite route in Love Life is Nath’s (shocker I know), and I have some thoughts, feelings and opinions.

[Here’s where I go off the rails.]

Alright, so the developers wanted a cheating storyline.  Fine, sure, it raises the stakes.  I can see that much.

But when it comes to who the infidelity was offered up with, I have some things to say.

The fact that the option we got for our baited infidelity was Nath's pseudo-father figure is so incredibly out of pocket I almost have to respect the ballsy move.  But it also made, in my opinion, the emotional impact of such a choice different depending on your chosen Love Interest - aka Nath’s circumstances vs everyone else’s.

Because let’s be real - in the other routes, Eric is just Some Guy™ who happens to be the investigative partner/aforementioned pseudo-father figure with your high school friend.  But your Love Interest doesn’t really know him beyond that.

On Nath’s route, he’s your boyfriend’s investigative partner/aforementioned pseudo-father figure.

No other route gets such a personal connection to the person participating in the infidelity.  

Had BeeMov done something like introducing a different person per route who was an option to stray from your partner with, who each had a personal connection to that love interest (See, Zach for Castiel or [omg I just thought of this] Ranata for Priya) - that would make the emotional impact of the infidelity itself even and/or equal throughout the love interests, not just so emotionally devastating for just Nath alone.

I also don’t really think we got enough time with Eric to really fall for him beyond surface level (again, just my opinion), but with Nath’s route it’s at least a tiny bit more plausible in the scope of that story.  This is a person that our Candy would’ve conceivably spent more time with than we saw in the Episodes because of Eric’s close relationship with Nath.  I can buy there being more behind the scenes feelings developing in that context, but with everyone else, it just feels rather surface level.

Which, to be fair, is plausible as well as people do cheat on their partners for petty, surface level reasons, but in a game like this where we’ve spent so much time with our respective LIs, personally I’d need a little more weight to make it plausible.

All this to say Nath continues to be the one to get the most devastating storylines (I have seen the screen shots of his reaction when he finds out the player cheats and is leaving him for Eric and its DEVASTATING).

Just some thoughts, I’d be interested to hear others on it.
