It’s been too many years!! ⠀⠀ Great afternoon coffee ☕️👭 date on at @duchessbakeshop Wednesday with this cutie @juliannaveldtman So excited to collaborate with her and her @whiteboxleadership for a uniquely mastered personal development class for our @jigsawforhair team. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I can’t express the importance of personal development. It is a practice we ALL need to work on every day. In our salon, my stylists are the foundation and spirit of our salon’s existence. (They really do rock!!) ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Wednesday is our development day. 💗⠀⠀ - The first Wednesday of every month I do one on one meetings with each stylist. We go over goals, victories, struggles, and it gives us the opportunity to reconnect beyond the salon walls. #lovemygals ⠀⠀ - Once a month Wednesday a different stylist and I record a fun hair tutorial for all of you to learn a fun easy style.. and gives you, our followers, a glimpse into our personalities and who we are. #howweroll⠀⠀ - The remaining Wednesday’s we focus on “business” development. We dive into the newest techniques in haircutting, colouring and styling. We dig into the details of our products, their uses, benefits and how to promote to our guests. ⠀⠀ - And last but not least we focus on “personal” development. Once a month I try to get a guest coach or trainer in to help us with the personal side of life. This is the gold, right here. #mystylistsmatter⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Let’s face it, life can be hard. We all have our struggles and I want to give my salon family all the tools to help them navigate this crazy life.
