Just saw this on Quora and wtf:

I may not like Madoka Magica(and in fact anyone who follows me for long enough will know that I hate that anime with a burning passion), but even so that still doesn't make comments like this okay.

I am so tired of people acting like lesbianism(and non-straight identities in general but in this case we're talking about lesbians) is inherently sexual, deviant, and inappropriate. These are the same type of people who think that kids can't be gay or even be told about the possibility of homosexuality because it will groom their young minds or something, as if being gay is something you're groomed into being. And I am sick of people acting like a character can't be gay/lesbian because it doesn't fit their personality or because they're a child or because they're "innocent" or some stupid-ass shit like you're just reinforcing the idea that straight is the default and that straight is morally more pure and "normal" and acceptable than being gay. I bet Larry Koopa doesn't care if a kid the same age as or younger than Madoka(who is 14) is portrayed as straight, because to them that's not inherently sexual the way that being gay is. But a kid being gay? Now don't you think that's going a little bit too far?

This person definitely thinks that all lesbians are mean and hateful and bitter, probably because they measure a woman's level of decency in accordance to how attracted to men they are(which is how we got that ugly fucking "mean bisexual, even meaner lesbian" joke in the first place).

I agree with Peyton Peyons. Madoka is a lesbian, end of story, and nobody gives a shit whether you want to call her your waifu or not, because she doesn't even know you exist. Get out of her, dawg.

Behold, my slapdash spur of the moment word vomit silly little fantasy of if Aemond Had Switched Sides To The Blacks When Viserys Croaked:

-Otto and especially Alicent would be in straight up denial up until they see his ass on that dragon coming for King’s Landing because fAmILy sTiCkS tOgEtHeR nO mAtTeR wHaT like who cares if Otto pimped out his daughter and who cares that they forced Helaena to marry Aegon (she has zero love for that bum come on now) WE ARE A FAMILY DAMMIT and they just can’t comprehend a dynamic where Aemond would see them as anything other than his highest priority worthy of 1000% of his loyalty and dedication no matter how scummy they are ✨just because they’re family✨

-a little standoff with Daemon when Aemond gets to Dragonstone because Daemon is the way that he is 🤷🏽‍♀️

-“Mother says that Father changed his mind at the last moment but I know by the seven that that is complete bullshit he barely even knew we existed and yes I still can’t stand my nephews BUT I’m willing to leave it all in the past-ish because Aegon’s drunk r*p*st ass would run the realm straight into the ground, let’s just be realistic here..”

-would apologize to Rhaena and get all huffy when she refuses to accept the apology, Jace would play peacemaker and finally apologize about the eye which in turn would prompt Aemond to grudgingly admit that *maybe* he shouldn’t have grabbed a rock to try to bash Jace’s skull in with and it just snowballs into an actual heart to heart between them all, Baela adding in that hey I should have remembered dragons aren’t slaves and they choose their riders blah blah bla Aemond adding that it was definitely out of pocket for him to claim Vhagar literally hours after her moms funeral blah blah bla we were all just kids tho bla blah blah ending with Luke apologizing about the pig thing 🥺

-then we get a scene where Daemon is still suspicious and questions Aemond when they’re like out patrolling or whatever. “Why did you REALLY leave?” (You little shit??)

-“....because Mother turned out to be just like grandsire...and I realized grandsire didn’t give a shit about my eye or what I had suffered, only that it gave him an opportunity to weaken Rhaenyra because I had obtained a dragon for ‘our side’. It’s all they care about, how they can undermine her and uplift house Hightower....They don’t give a shit about me and I would have done everything for them...I’m as interchangeable as the most lowly of their banner men.”

-cue Daemon inwardly realizing oh shit I have a new son now because yes Daemon is a fucked up scumbag but goddamn it if he isn’t a total sap for the whole “I try so hard to get genuine love from my family why can’t they understand that and give me some love back” thing

-anyways Aemond goes to Storm’s end and snags Maris as a wife because who doesn’t love a good roast amirite and the whole posse will storm Kings Landing, RhaeRhae is crowned again in front of the people and she reigns for a bajillion squillion years everyone is happy especially me the end lmao

I follow an eggman appreciation blog on here (because it's sonic content) and the amount of hate the blogger gets for simply being himself is just fucking disgusting. Can yall fucking chill and let him live his life and have fun? He's literally doing nothing harmful, he just likes Eggman. That's fucking it. Leave him the fuck alone.

You look up from your book to see your husband standing over the bassinet with his arms crossed, his brow raising as he looks down inside of it with a tiny scowl. He stays like that for about a minute. You sit up in your shared bed, then call out to him. “Ryo.” 

“Hm.” He doesn’t look up. 

“May I ask what you are doing?” 

“The little brat is staring,” Sukuna says matter-of-factly. “I am simply staring at her in return.” 

Inside of the bassinet, your baby daughter coos. Her scarlet eyes—exactly like her father’s—glitter with interest. You hear her giggle, and you scoff lightly and return your gaze to your book. “She thinks you’re playing a game.” 

“I am doing no such thing.” 

You flip a page. “Put a hand over your face for a few seconds.” He doesn’t respond, but you know he listens. “M’kay, now lift.” There’s silence for a few seconds, then your daughter bursts into a fit of giggles. 

Sukuna rolls his eyes. “I do not understand what is so entertaining about that.” When you look up again, you see that he’s covering his face again, then revealing himself to get the same reaction from the baby.

“It’s called peek-a-boo. It’s a game most babies love to play.” 

The little princess babbles as she lifts her arms up, and Sukuna tilts his head. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” 

You snicker. “One: You’ll figure out what she’s saying the more you talk with her. Two: She wants you to pick her up.” 

He sighs dramatically, then reaches into the bassinet to pick up the small girl. Though she has her father’s eyes, she has your hair, the shape of your nose, and your ears. She also has your fearlessness, because she smiles directly in the face of the king of curses. Now at his eye level, she reaches her arms towards him excitedly. “What is it now, you brat? I’m already carrying you.” 

He looks over at you in question, and your smile grows. “She wants to touch your face,” you say. 

“Why?” 

“Because she’s a baby, and she’s curious.” 

Sukuna pulls her closer, and once in range, his daughter lays her tiny hands against his marked face. She giggles more, and you can see his eyes soften. “Hmph. You have your mother’s smile.”

The next morning, you walk into the kitchen where you hear Sukuna speaking with someone. When he turns to the side, you see your daughter nestled in the crook of one of his muscular arms, staring up at him as he concluded whatever story he was telling her. 

“...At the end of the battle, only I remained. Victory was mine.” 

The baby babbles excitedly, and Sukuna scoffs. “Ha, you will do no such thing. How do you expect to join me in battle when you aren’t even a year old, brat?” 

Her face scrunches in what looks like annoyance, and she repeats to him what he taught her the night before. “Hmph.” 

You burst into laughter, and Sukuna raises a brow at the little girl in his arms. “Great. Your mother’s smile, and her attitude.”

some people who try to "rehabilitate" the dark ages are doing too much. it's one thing to say it wasn't as bad as popularly imagined in the past.

but it's another thing to say it wasn't bad at all or that it wasn't obviously a downgrade from the ages that preceded or even that it was actually equal or even /better/ than the ages that preceded it (actually thing i've seen people say).

My mother has absolutely fallen in love with Gale and it’s the single funniest thing I’ve seen in a while.

So for some context:

My mom is in her late 60’s and can’t live alone so she lives with me. She enjoys watching video games as an alternative to tv (this woman played the hell out of the PS1 so I’m not surprised). She always gives me her reviews on the games I play and loves some more than others. With that being said…

She hates Baldur’s Gate 3. Hates it. Despises it. “Worst game you’ve played by far.” She doesn’t like fantasy genres and doesn’t like a whole lot of combat. Now admittedly she didn’t start watching the game until Act 2 (health issues) so she missed the entire opening and Act 1 and had NO idea what was going on. I tried explaining as best I could but she didn’t fully understand.

Now she doesn’t like anything remotely spooky so the shadow lands was a nightmare for her to watch. Hated it. Hated the characters.

Astarion was too mean. Didn’t like Wyll’s horns and red eye. Karlach was too loud and didn’t like the horns. Shadowheart was too gloomy. Lae’zel was too creepy looking and mean (still haven’t won her over in Lae’zel). Halsin was “creepy looking” (I don’t get it either). Hadn’t met Jaheria or Minsc yet.

Now admittedly I hardly used Gale in my first play through so she never saw him or knew he existed until Act 3. But the second she saw him? Heart eyes. Put on her glasses to look at him better. Rizzard of Waterdeep got her GOOD.

Loved him to the point where she asked if I’d play it again JUST to romance Gale so I agreed because I was going to romance him at some point anyway. And when I tell you that woman is SMITTEN.

Every day I get home from work and it’s “when are you going to play your game? I want to see Gale.” “Kiss Gale. Do a kiss. There’s different kisses? Do them all I want to see the kisses.” “HE HAS A CAT??”

Very quick to tell me on what romance dialogue options to pick. I have no say in the matter they’re all her choices.

Oh and Mystra? Hates her. Can’t stand her. “Blast Mystra with your fireball thingy.” “Can you kill her? You should kill her.” “Gale better be praising you and not Mystra.”

I mean it’s a complete turn around and this is now her favorite game simply because of Gale Dekarios.
