EVERY CREATURE I AM BACK!!!

Hey every critter, it’s your local tumblr dragon back here again. Some may have noticed my disappearance/not being as active on here, so it’s only appropriate of me to address that.

I’m not going into a lot of details or anything, as I don’t want to vent without asking first, but in these few weeks I wasn’t feeling the very best and just lost a lot of motivation. Honestly didn’t feel like doing anything but the bare minimum. And I just wanted to apologize for that and just kinda falling off. But thankfully I have started to feel much, much better, and I’ll be getting back into the swing of things! I will be trying so hard to go through any post of ask I missed(especially from my lovely moots, mwah/p) and trying to get caught up with everything. Love you all!

For comics, what is your work process like? How do you get from idea to a finished comic?

HELLOOOO OAAA omg this is a tough nut to crack as im a pretty chaotic writer in that way...... i think it depends whether i'm creating longform or shortform, i actually recently talked abt this elsewhere so i can bring an example based on the sylvanian discourse comic as shortform! long post with sketch pages and thumbnails etc ahead, ill put it under a cut! 🧡🧡

usually i start by jotting down really loose ideas which i do in my native language; ill translate it for you but i sent myself a mad scientist-esque message that went like: "kohaku giggling at his phone, rinne asking what's so funny and kohaku tells them that love assigned them sylvanian families creatures, and shows them. niki's is obvious, everyone agrees. same with kohaku's, plus rinne does pleading face emoji at how cute it is. rinne's critter could get criticism on being uncool? google. himeru's reaction to his own is no way.. himeru is this one and shows a pic on his phone to which everyone is like ..:3 himeru we didn't know you'd thought about this already but himeru just demands everyone to agree with his choice more than aira's. aira later gets a text from kohaku that himeru didn't agree and aira is PISSED"

sdfsdfdklhs so this was my script, as you see the story changed a little while thumbnailing bc i figured out a funnier way to write it; + i cut the scene change for pacing reasons and constrained the ending into one panel with texts on a screen...! then i had to start finding the critters to assign them, i presented my assignments to friends to check if im accurate or out sailing:D:D mwah mwah thank you to my council of love

next step was writing dialogue which i did while sketching the pages super loosely as little thumbnails, i like to get my layouts solidified when thumbnailing too and i usually do my cleanups straight on the scaled up thumbnails. when i write longform i usually thumbnail out more than 6 pages at once to see how the pages flow and write loose mad scientist type scripts chapter by chapter. i rly do miss working on longform comics 😭😭😭 (my webcomic FLFR became abandoned bc i deleted my twitter years ago and realized later that my only way of accessing my webtoons account was thru twitter. customer support said its gone forever so 🇫.)

as you see in this example i rly like to have my text flow and kind of lead the reader's eye thru the action... i think all comic artists have different approaches to certain things but i like loose and dynamic paneling very much; it's so much fun to play around with!! i'm also so so pleased that people noticed in the comic how kohaku was becoming more and more excited and confident with every showing, it was a little difficult to figure out how to make a repetitive and essentially very boring action (someone holding up their phone) work in comic format without feeling copypasted or trite. more thumbnail examples from my sketchbook for the rinniki comic (i like that i wrote notes for myself on top of drawings, like "üldine" to refer to the panel being a wide shot:DD wonderful overlap of storyboarding and comic work!!):

overall i like writing comics since you can add endless details. what makes comics work for me is giving up on being a perfectionist or you will never finish a comic. one finished comic is better than the perfect comic in your head because you'll have the experience and free space in your head to write another comic, instead of the first one stewing in your mind. :D and so on!! be bold, don't be scared to draw ugly, and draw bad comics. and definitely write it with an audience in mind, except the audience is 50 versions of you and what you enjoy/like most!!

i started my first longform comic in high school and idk how but i managed to finish it, it's not a great comic, but i'm proud that it's done and it taught me a lot. same for FLFR which i hope i can rewrite/redraw some day since it's a story i still want to tell and the characters are rly near and dear to my heart, but i think i totally got burnt out from juggling work, comics and things going on in my life at the time :( surprisingly i also enjoyed working on a comic project where the client wrote the script and had character designs ready but mainly because the client's script writing style was similar to mine which at times was like "idk they fight and something funny happens here"

Eli stepped out of his house, his mother stepping outside to kiss him goodbye one more time.

'*MWAH!* Be safe Eli! And stick with the others, I don't want you to go wandering off.' 'I will mom! Jeez, it's like you've never sent me outside before!' 'Well, what kind of mother would I be if I didn't worry obsessively about you? Oh, and remember-' 'Yes, I'll go straight to Dad's house, and make sure he calls you so you know I'm safe. I knowww!' The grins and hugs him to her side quickly. '-Remember to have fun. Go on then, I won't hold you up any more...'

Beaming, she gave Eli a gentle push, which Eli responded to my running off like there were wolves at his heels.

Eli ran along the street and quickly came to the play park, where he said he'd meet the others. Almost immediately, he started to tap his foot impatiently. His hand soon followed, drumming against the park railing without any sort of rhythm. He glanced up and down the street, even though he'd only been there for about twenty seconds. His ADHD was making it incredibly hard to wait, especially since he ought to have been out harassing homeowners out of free candy. He smiled at the thought of his mum trying to get him to bed later that night...

He soon spotted a pair of smaller critters coming towards him, literally skipping hand-in-hand. It was difficult to tell who was who due to their costumes, but he had a good idea...

'Hey Eli!' 'Callum! Leah!'

He pulled them into a very very weak Eli squeeze™, though he still heard Leah whimper and squirm.

'Eli, please! I'm carrying Precious cargo here!' He released his grip on them both. 'Sorry Leah! I'm just so excited for-! Wait, what cargo?'

Leah was wearing a fuzzy bee costume, complete with a little black and yellow hat and a stinger on her butt. It was only slightly unconvincing, and that was only because she was still wearing her cardigan over the striped fabric. She held up a small belt sewn into her costume, which was holstering several jars of honey.

'OOOOHHH, right, bee... Also, may I just say, you are ADORABLE!' Leah giggled and looked away, blushing. 'No, I'm really not... I bet I look silly really...' 'No, don't say that Leah! Eli's right, you are the cutest little BeeBear I've ever seen!' 'You must not have seen many BeeBears then!' 'Leah, listen to me-' Callum grabbed Leah by the shoulders; 'We all love you dearly, you are a key member of our group, and you are an adorable little bumblebee. I don't care what you say, my opinion and everyone else's is that you are cute. Understand?' '...I Understand, Callum.' 'Ok, come here...' He pulled Leah into a cuddle, and Eli started squealing with delight. Once Callum released Leah, Eli turned to him:

'So, do you know where-' 'ELIIIIIII!'

Sunny came suddenly running up to him, and Eli was almost actually knocked over by the force of her tackle-hug.

'JESUS-'

Sunny chuckled, and quickly released him, beaming wildly.

'How the heck are you Eli?' 'I'm- I'm good... Jesus christ you scared me!' 'hehehehehe! Sorry! I just couldn't help it, it's just so exciting, don't you think?' '...Don't we trick or treat every year?' 'Well, yeah. But that doesn't mean I can't still be excited!' 'Touché, sunny. Touché... what are you supposed to be, anyways?' 'isn't it obvious?' She was wearing an ornate falcon headdress, a cardboard double crown, a short robe and carrying an ankh. '...Hawkman?' 'Wha- no, Eli, I'm Horus!' '...' 'The Egyptian sun god?' 'Yeah, I still don't know who that is.' Sunny sighed and looked over to Eli and Dandy, visibly 'Awwww!'-ing at the sight of the two of them.

After quickly complimenting Callum's Rum Tum Tugger costume and Leah's fuzzy bee threads, Sunny spoke up.

'So, anybody know where the other four of our entourage are?' 'Umm... n-no idea, sorry Sunny.' 'I was just asking the same thing.' 'Me neither.'

Everybody jumped at the sudden gruff voice. Dandy began laughing loudly and mirthfully at their surprise. She was wearing a batman costume, and blended seamlessly into the shadows.

'Oh my god, that was priceless!' Eli immediately started laughing as well, beaming 'DANDY!' 'H- Ha- how long w-were you w-w-waiting to do th-that?' She shrugged, 'I'unno. What time is it, six PM? So that's fifteen... then forty five.... about four hours-ish?' 'You were waiting to scare us for Four HOURS?!' 'Oh, no, I only concocted my master plan about three hours in when I realised how dark my costume is. On account of... I'm Batman. I already climbed the tree to wait because my feet got tired.' 'Well, may I just say, it was GENIUS! I wish I'd thought of it!' 'Thanks! But you probably don't Eli. The branches are too thin and spindly. Like Leah's arms.' 'HEY! They're not-! Wait, actually, no, you're right, they are, sorry...' 'Ok, I think that's enough discussing Dandy's genius-' 'NEVARRR!' '-Anyone seen the others?' 'Oh, yeah, Mana's just down there in the park on the swingset.' 'Oh, okay then, I'll just go get her-' 'No need Sunny, already here!' 'Right, so now we need to find Conk and Munchy. Anyone have any ideas where they could be?' 'Conk messaged me half an hour ago, if that helps?' 'Well, what'd he say?' ''Leaving the house soon, just helping Cham but on her costume.'' 'Did he-' ''Meet you guys outside the park?' I told him yes, we'd wait.' 'Ok, great! Now all that's left is to find Munchy. Any ideas anyone?' Nobody spoke up. In the meantime, Callum was suspiciously edging his way away from the group, and faced away from them, his body oddly stiff. 'Cal'?' '....Oh, I promised I wouldn't tell, but I can't do it! ' '...Munch isn't coming...' '......WHAT?!'

SATURDAY'S SNOWY SALUTATIONS

I woke up to a couple of inches of snow this morning. The dog did her business and didn't dally too much. Her paw prints are already filled in with fresh snow and it's still coming down. I'd like to know how much snow the surrounding mountains are getting.

I had to run into town and get some critter food yesterday. When I got back home I started a load of laundry then heated up the last of my everlasting chicken vegetable soup.

I finished the soup and noticed the washing machine had stopped. It should have been too small of a load to unbalance, but I rearranged things and restarted it. When I tried to rinse out my soup bowl there was no water. DOH!

I checked my bill and I still have a few days before they threaten to cut me off, so that wasn't it. Checked the city website and there was nothing there. Twitter? Nothing. Facebook? "We're replacing a busted water main. Sorry for the inconvenience." DOH!

I cleaned my hands with some wipes, then brewed a cup of coffee using bottled water and waited. A couple of hours later I was finally able to wash my clothes and wash my dishes, but I couldn't wash my mind so it remains dirty.

The RV park next door has new owners. It doesn't directly concern me but maybe they'll upscale the place and bring in fancy new RVs like you see in the resorts. I'll soon be surrounded by million dollar Prevost and Newmar luxury models! LOL.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to throw snowballs at the old RVs before they leave.

STAR TREK UPDATE TIME. saturday we did voy's "basics part ii" and "flashback," and last night we did voy's "the chute" and "the swarm." not really last night changed bc i am writing this at fuck o clock its going up tmrw w/o me but w/e

basics part ii:

this one was fine. or rather the a-plot of this was boring, the b-plot fucking ruled

like, what do i care about the surface of this planet? ik there's a whole season that happens after this, nobody important is gonna die. even the critter was no that interesting

also, FUCK the baby not really being chakotay's. i was so fucking devastated. i wanted him to have a little guy sooo bad. they gave it to me and then snatched it away. imagine how he must feel...the whole ship in danger to save the kid that wasn't really his, and two people DIED in the process. the a-plot was terrible.

but ohhh the doctor and lon suder taking on the kazons alone. mwah.

first of all, what a match-up. the doctor can't be killed or harmed, not really, not the way suder used to enjoy hurting people. so that puts them on totally even terms

secondly, the fact that suder FINALLY almost overcame his violent impulses and now he has no choice BUT to give into them for a cause greater than his own needs (to have peace with himself)...that's juicy stuff. his struggle when he came back after killing that one guy was absolutely incredible.

finally, i love that out of any two people who could be stuck on voyager, you get the idea that these two people had the best chance of doing what they did. like the doctor is quite literally PART of the computer that runs the ship, and suder has all the violent impulses of his former life now combined with tuvok's methodical nature and his own hard-earned patience. truly a force to be reckoned with. it doesn't really push your suspension of disbelief when he takes out all those guys at once because part of him has been waiting to do that for a looong time

genuinely i'm only disappointed they killed him...a character like this could have EASILY been a regular. i'll miss him so much

the undiscovered country was not my favorite tos movie by far (it ranks near the bottom actually) but i wish i had skimmed it at least before watching this. the movie footage being there was so so fun, and JANICE RAND! i'm always so happy to see her turn up, she deserved so much better, even if most of her tos scenes did annoy me to death

anyway, imagine being in a show and 30 years later they are calling you on the phone asking if you would like to do another episode of the show. star trek really is so unique in that regard, very few franchises have that same kind of staying power. m*rvel who? get the fuck out of here.

i looooooved getting more of tuvok's backstory. i think it's really hilarious that spock's parents almost disowned him when he joined starfleet but after that vulcan parents are like pressuring their kids to join to be more like him. poor spock and poor tuvok i wish they could have met onscreen just once

janeway in the old uniform!!!!!!!! she looked amazing

mixed feelings about janeway's speech about how things were different in the tos era and that's why sometimes they didn't do the prime directive. actually, it's funny because i got a little huffy at her "they were quicker to reach for their phasers" comment like GIRL NO THEY WEREN'T and then like the very next day i watched "taste of armageddon" where kirk did immediately start blasting because the disintegration chambers triggered his tarsus iv trauma and had to reluctantly forgive her

the chute:

something lgbt happened on star trek voyager...i don't ship this couple because i'm still kirby with a gun re: tom paris, but i'm incredibly happy for people who do. i think about how i would have been if this had been chakotay and janeway instead (besdie myself) and i just KNOW the harry/tom shippers were eating

i wish harry kim got more to do...he had a little more this time but his solo scenes didn't have much meat to them, it was his scenes w tom paris that really stood out

and like i didn't hate those scenes, but the "shitty hellhole prison" plot itself also kind of bored me, because we just saw a far superior version of this happen to o'brien on ds9 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and to me one half of tom/harry is kinda boring and never gets his chance to shine, and the other is eternally on probation for being too annoying in season 1. so i had a hard time staying invested

that said it was very fun when janeway came down through the hole guns blasting. now who's playing cowboy, captain?

the swarm:

this was another one where the a-plot sucked and the b-plot ruled

i know janeway doesn't wanna add another 15 months, but man, come ON...it was very dumb not to go around. it was even dumber to not go around WHILE YOUR DOCTOR WAS BROKEN. take a few days to fix him and THEN go. also WHAT HAPPENED TO HER IDEALS? the showrunner really needed to keep this shit straight this was wildly out of character for her. that plus constantly brushing off kes...not her finest episode tbqh

the doc losing his memory was great though. kes is SO kind to advocate for him as she does and she and b'elanna were just great in general. kes even gave him a little kissy!! treat him really niceys: the episode

the other doctor hologram was really funny too although his usage of the "it" pronoun made me flash back to my rage when people did that to data during tng

it was actually so true to life how people with dementia act...kes did a great job of keeping him calm until the end :(

and the humming!!! i can't believe they left it there, but i suppose the implication is he gets it all back. and what a breath-taking spot to end it, honestly

Jaune looked a little boring tbh (and his sweatshirt looked weird) so yknow, just basic little changes. changed his bangs, gave him some bandaids to show his lack of aura from the beginning of the show and his tendency to get hurt, just made his overall look a little simpler. a lot of designs in this show tend to have a lot of detail so I streamlined him a little bit

NORAAAAAAAAAA she is beloved so I got rid of those weird blue and red details from her first design. give this bad bitch elbow pads cute heart earrings and Ren's signature green as an accent. her ankle boots kind of alude to those chunky boots that tend to be associated with vikings and while I was doing her sketch the sentence "thunder thighs" flashbanged in my mind so I had to lmao

Pyrrha GIRL why you so skinny give her muscles goddamit I gave her pants for some variety and made her chest... thing an actual chestplate. Her actual design was already top tier 10/10 mwah chef's kiss so there isn't much to say lol

Ren's shoes from chapter one weirded me out like boy why do you look like you'll play a sax solo that will change my life. not much has changed but I made his colors a little more vibrant and made his pinks match better with Nora's. He Is Tallest Of The Team Because I Said So

(This titters in AU territory but idc so basic background: They're second years, Penny is an exchange student from Atlas because she wanted to have a more normal school girl experience [and I imagine she's quite famous in Atlas] and if there was one person Ironwood would trust to take care of one of his most powerful weapons I mean Pietro's daughter is Ozpin, therefore she studies at Beacon. Cardin USED to be in Team CRDL but he flunked his second year at school so he got reassigned with Sun, Velvet and Penny much to his dismay. idk who was the previous member that Cardin replaced or how it would work and again idc maybe they're also transfer students or Velvet joined school one year late than usual with some experience idk)

Sun's design is lowkey weird to me like everytime I see some detail of it I just think "why tho" So I just kinda threw the skin of it away and kept the bones, like the open shirt and more streetwear look of it. I tried making him look more like a dude that does parkour and also made his shirt actually slightly relevant to his fairytale? idk it looks like he actually does martial arts AND is a fuck boy instead of just being a fuck boy. Give this slut some cool kicks

Velvet is SO CUTE but Too Much Brown bring back the light cyan from her original concept and give some slight modifications to her outfit to streamline it for her various fighting styles (specially her main one with lots of kicks) I gave her a hime cut and made her hair more straight from some variety and gave her ocular albinism to allude to rabbits with red eyes (also her surname is literally Scarlatina give this girl a little red at least). She gets a hairclip because she's a cutie patootie and she's more bottom heavy because again, she's a kicker and it alludes to rabbits :)

Cardin's hair bothers me SO MUCH why does it look like a plastic cap. I made his weave look like REAL hair and gave him some moles to make his face a little more interesting. I didn't change TOO much about his outfit but I gave him some hip armor that resembles folded wings and a butt cape for a brighter shade of red and to resemble a Cardinal's tail. Now go have your character development sweetie!!

Penny's first design was already perfect to be fair, I just did some adjustments for style like having the lace from her boots (socks?) reappear in other places on her outfit, changing her skirt into shorts to call back more to Pinnochio (and also there's too many girls wearing skirts already) and made her bangs actually have the same texture as the rest of her hair

School faculty!! with like only 4 characters in the lineup because I was lazy

Tried making Glynda a little more like The Good Witch from the classic movie while keeping her original "vibe", so I gave her some half up, half down wavy hair, some butterfly motifs and exchanged the dark gold for silver. And her semblance is magic bubbles (they can be big or small and fast or slow, and they can move in big clouds of them) so alude to the original inspo + making her powers make a little more sense

Oobleck is already best boy so I just added some details to make him more visually interesting, like the different shoes now being accentuated by different colored socks, a wrist watch to imply he needs some help keeping himself more organized, (and to imply speed maybe) his necktie being flung over his shoulder and a jacket just barely being held on by a safety pin, maybe he kept misplacing it before that lmao

Coco Adel!! Yes she's a teacher now because I loved her too much to fully discard her for this idea I had. She teaches Care of Weapons (which is weird that it wasn't there already) And is the sassy and fashionable bitch we all love!! Who is now a faunus so she can be the hound to fox's... fox. I just generally tried to keep her fashionable vibe while actually making certain aspects of her outfit make more sense

Fox!! there isn't much to say about him I just tried to make his outfit more visually interesting. Now he's actually a faunus and he has a fox tail + a low ponytail that looks like a fox tail... And he's a teacher now. He teaches about semblances

OK FINAL LINEUP I PROMISE

Neo was already perfect, I just changed some aspects I fould weird personally (Like the shape of her jacket and the double belt) and gave her some moles and lipstick so she doesn't look like a baby and to invoke more of this old timey hollywood criminal vibe. Also her two hair colors swirl!! like a soft serve!!

There isn't much about Roman that I really want to talk about, I just made his hair look more like hair and less like plastic and made his lower half more interesting. Otherwise he was fun and ok enough as is, there isn't much that I could change without just. getting rid of his vibe entirely lol

Emerald was already great, I just changed her for the sake of her not being the only one that remained the same and made her pants a big baggier, hopefully it helps alude to her inspo of alladin a little better

TRY TO MAKE MERCURY ACTUALLY LOOK INTERESTING CHALLENGE: IMPOSSIBLE (?) because idk if I succeded lol, I moved his armor to his legs because that's what he uses to fight, plus added an accent color as a wing on his heel, so it alludes better to his hermes inspo (also makes his color pallete slightly less boring) My ideas for him were literally just... add. give him piercings, give him olive skin, give him the fox eyes so then there's a reveal that he has silver eyes that he can't use because he doesn't love anybody, etc etc, I hope it worked lol

RWBY redesigns cuz idk I just really like the power system

Ruby's design was already great and iconic but I just wanted to bring more red and a little more color variation to her because it kind of blended all together for me? also I miss her poofy skirt bring it back. I think that the corset idea is great but wasn't very well executed Weiss is based more on her snowpea outfit as you can see but brought some ice blue to it (lowkey inspired by her manga design) and golden buttons, not only to have SOMEONE from team rwby have yang's yellow but I feel like it makes her look a little more regal. Also make her blind on one eye fuck it. her fighting with limited field of view is more impressive. ALSO her and Ruby having the same type of skirt threw me off. her skirt is floaty like a ballerina's instead (she's wearing shorts trust) I legit think Blake's vol. 1 design is perfect but I changed it because 1. For the sake of her not being the only one that remains the same and 2. I wish at least she got pants from the beggining, if only for the sake of variety Yang I obviously based her design on her Hunter outfit because that was the only time she truly slayed and love love love it- I would have totally kept her purple bandanna but the idea of her carrying around a piece of Ruby's cape tickled me- and it would connect them as sisters yknow, them having the other's signature color on their hips

This is a list I will continue to update but these are some of the fics I have read (most of them are already pretty popular but tbf thats for good reason) that I think are just some of my favourite fics

Please note that these are not ranked by anything and I’ll also be making 2 separate lists for Superhero/powers AUs and foster AUs bcs I have read far far far too many of them

1. Ours Poetica by zeeskeit [unfinished] This fic is one of the most masterfully written fics I've read, the poems the author includes are just incredible, I love the pacing as well as the other characters that we get to meet. This fic legitimately made me try learning poetry, I'm shit at it but the writing is literally that inspiringly good

2. Butterfly Reign by SilentTeyz [unfinished] Pain. Agony. But so wonderfully written, I love it. The cutthroat brutality even the nicest characters are capable of bcs that's just what is needed in the royal court is one of my favourite things in this fic, there is only one character in this fic I think is actually in the right 99.9% of the time and that's Tubbo. Also love the reasoning we get behind all the characters actions *cough* Wilbur *cough*. Also Beau is incredible.

3. 3 weeks, 41 critters, 1 human (series) by Badnews [on going series] There are a lot of very good space AU/humans are orcs SBI fics out there but this one takes a popular trope and redefines it into something else. The rest of SBI as aliens slowly realising Tommy has sentience is such a hard thing to write but the author does it in such a way that it's realistic (well as realistic as an alien fic can be) and not rushed with an easy fix-it-all solution

4. Whatever Remains, However Improbable by 7CxRhyeby (completed) This fic was a fic I'm still yet to read anything similar to and I love I for that, Wilbur is a framed detective which suits him so much, the different povs are all so well written its just so *mwah*

5. FOIL v.) [something considered wrong or undesirable] from succeeding by MistBorn_SprenDeath (one shot) ok this one is very short compared to the others but its wonderful, Tommy is blind, vampire SBI are dicks, BUT, Tommy is not compliant or complacent, he is smart and philosophical and doesn’t roll over to be babied and I love that for him. Please read this if you have 5 minutes its so worth it.

6. Vibrations by celestialwarden [completed] I don’t read many canon based fics, I’m more of an AU gal but this fic is an exception, and by that I mean its exceptionally well written. Tommy goes on a healing arc, gets a child, gets a Sean (we stan Sean) what else could you need? It has some heartbreaking angst and reunions, also some terrifying cliff hangers, but it all turns out well in the end. Just keep reminding yourself that especially towards the second half of the fic. You’ll need to.

7. The Case of the Fire Inside by trying_to_spell_both_our_names_at_once [ongoing] Whenever the author replies to a comment I left on the most recent chapter of this fic I immediately put down whatever I’m doing cause that usually means a new chapter is coming out. This fic is so unique, Selkie!Tommy and lighthouse keeper W, T, & P,  Evil bastard dream but older brother dream and its so sweet bcs Tommy is friends with SBI as a seal but also a human but its also so sad cause DREAM dbshbvhdj I love this fic pls read it.

8. Kings To You by Flustered [ongoing] as I mentioned earlier I’m not a huge fan of dark SBI but Tommy in this is just? so? cool? From the first chapter he is so badass, continuously does the impossible (I won’t state his feats cause spoilesrs but he is so cool) and when Techno goes all dark and possessive he’s like ‘fine, you want to make me “yours” well then your mine as well bitch’ He literally just goes “same” when Techno is doing his whole piglin bonding thing. Did I mention he’s badass? He is so badass

9. Diasporas Blue by SilverWing15 [completed] Werewolf Tommy is so perfect always, and SilverWing is such a wonderful writer this fic is just perfect. Its soft and fluffy but everyone is also oblivious idiots, sometimes you just need that hurt/comfort with a little bit of fantasy found family.

10. Blood Brothers (Blood God!Tommy AU) by lockergirl [ongoing series] Tommy (blood gods) just goes and yoinks a select few people that eventually become his family and I love it. This AU is so perfect, I love that the way he meets each SBI member is unique for each of them, its bloody hilarious when everyone thinks Techno is the blood god, plus the way he actively hates blood sacrifices so he befriends Techno when he sacrifices a fucking baked potato and that just becomes a thing from then on. This fic has angst but its also really funny at times, Tommy can be an oblivious mess but he means well

SUNDAY SUMMATIONS

One of my favorite movies, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, came on late last night while I was trying to fall asleep. I didn’t stay awake for the full 3 1/2 hours but I did watch most of it. 

If you haven’t seen this classic movie you really should. Spencer Tracy, Milton Berle, Buddy Hackett, Jonathan Winters, Jim Backus, Mickey Rooney. Cameos by the Three Stooges, Jerry Lewis, Jack Benny, Buster Keaton. Classic. 

I need to work on creating more conflict so I’ve downloaded two books on how to do it. These are books for writers, so you don’t have to worry that I’m going to be creating drama with you. Probably. Maybe.

I really need to spend less time on social media so I can concentrate more on writing. BWAHAHA!

No, seriously. Maybe I need to take a break. Or at least limit my time online to a 10 or 12 hours a day. 

We got to feed our neighbor’s horses, donkeys, and ponies last night. Sadly, it was dark by the time we got there and it just isn’t as much fun mucking through the muck to feed a bunch of critters who are mad at you for being late. Of course, they consider noon to be late so I take their opinion with a grain of salt. I do enjoy horsing around with them, though.

It's also got me thinking that one of the first books Bob reads to Auggie when he's really little is Peter Rabbit. When Auggie was born, Bob and wifey!Reader also did a few of their own watercolor pics of the critters around the property and had them framed for Auggie's nursery.

When he's old enough to walk and when he starts talking, you and Bob bring him outside during the hot summer, the little one is running barefoot through the grass and looking for critters and they even take some of the hutch bunnies out so Auggie can play with them and practice being gentle with them. Bob asks if he wants to name one of the bunnies and Auggie says that his is gonna be named Peter after his favorite little bunny rabbit.
