Random question: what are your top 5 ships in general and why?

Oh god that is a very huge question anon. I am afraid that I will most likely miss some so I will trust my mind and assume that if I didn't think of them immediately then they probably shouldn't be considered part of my favourite ships???

Anyways, after trying to meddle with my brain for way too long, here they are in no particular order:

Percy and Annabeth from PJO and HoO: I kid you not, they are the blueprint. I know I said there is no order for this list but they're the best ship. There's no discussion no arguments just. them. Also they follow this trend I just realized of most of / all my favourite ships being comprised of a dork and a really cool girlie. Once again; the blueprint. Absolutely unmatched.

Junpei and Chidori from Persona 3: This one breaks my heart in a million pieces but for me they are in the same wavelength as Orpheus and Eurydice (I could've cheated and include them in this list as Hadestown characters but it didn't feel right). Tragic partners, but an incredible love story for the ages and oh my good I am getting too many feelings just thinking about them. Definitely my favourite Persona ship (my second favourite is Naoto x Kanji my gender kings (gn) ). Also they're literally el gracioso y la del eyeliner which is very macarrones con tomatico of them (i don't know if you're spanish or not anon so I'm sorry if you didn't understand this last sentence it is a very stupid one tbh).

Usnavi and Vanessa from In The Heights: Them!!!!! Exactly!!! They're probably my favourite ship dynamic (once again dork + cool girl) but amped to a thousand through musical antics and oh god I love them too much. It's the mutual pining and the miscomunication and the summer crush feeling and AAAAA. They're everything to me honestly. Probably the ship I have the most feelings about right now.

Chidi and Eleanor from The Good Place: They are literally soulmates!!!!! Against all odds they are soulmates!!! Not because it was destiny but because they found each other!!!! I am going to implode !!!!

Kieu My and Fatou from Druck: The skamverse has so many good ships that make me shiver in excitement (my second favorite is probably the original Yousana and in third place I would say it's a tie between Crisana and Spiderwitz) but literally nothing compares to the incredible experience that is Kieutou. That museum date clip still lives in my head rent free and cured my mental illness several times already. They're simply the best and nothing will ever top them. Also once again, the dork + cool girl combo repeats itself.

I don't have anywhere else to talk about it, and there is a hopelessness to drug addiction, you know? You don't do it… you don't keep doing it because it's cool. You keep doing it because you feel like there's no life without it. And to express that, it wasn't like a relief for me. I'm not… the music is a catharsis for me. But I wasn't like, 'I needed to get that out'. Unfortunately, I'm only my set of experiences and they're pretty limited as somebody who's been on the road for four years and trying to mediate his life through drug addiction, you know? I didn't go out a lot. A lot of sleeping. So it's like… it's difficult to walk that line."

“Love, are you sure we need all these lights?” You glanced up from your position on the floor and glared at John who stood over you. His usual commanding presence and persona immediately disappeared once your eyes connected. “Right…sorry. Consider it done, Ma’am.” A grin formed on your lips as you watched the man retreat, going back to where a bunch of Christmas lights were waiting to be hung.

Simon was already there, waiting for him, knowing there was nothing they could do against you during Christmas. After all, it wasn’t the first time they spent with you, but it’s the first time you spent together as more than just friends. More than just a team, a task force.

“Kin ah come in yit?” You chuckled at Johnny’s whine. “Not yet!” He complained under his breath before you heard him retreat further back into the house you all lived in. Kyle, who was sitting on the couch, watching you wrap the gifts you had gotten for the Scott, chuckled. “You’re mean. He’s really clingy today, just wants to be close to you.” But you just shook your head, concentrating on folding the wrapping paper without ripping it.

After a few more minutes, filled with fin paper, sticky tape, and bows, you called Johnny and let him know that he could come back into the living room. He immediately sprinted through the house, before you felt him slipping across the floor and into your back, hugging you tightly. “Fockin’ finally.” His face was nuzzled into your neck as he wrapped his legs around you as well. A laugh escaped your lips as you reached back, running your fingers through his mohawk. “Sorry, I kept you waiting, Johnny.”

“’ Is alright. Gotcha now.” You hummed and leaned back against him, but were interrupted when complaints were aired. “Leave some for us, MacTavish.” Simon’s gruff voice made you grin, and without hesitation, you stretched your arms up and in his direction. Easily, almost too easily, he pried Johnny’s arms and legs from around you and lifted you up, while you clung onto him like a koala.

“Let’s go inspect our work and then go to bed? Santa has to have time to come down the chimney after all.” You nodded, not letting go, as the Lieutenant carried you outside, to show off the decorations. A gasp left you as you took in the beautiful and colorful lights all over your house. “Like it?” John walked out the door, clad like a lumberjack, a look that did something to you. And he knew it. “I love it. Thank you, you two.” You quickly pressed your lips against Simon’s, before waving John over and kissing him as well.

“Oi! I also want one!” Johnny came sprinting out of the house without even putting on shoes, closely followed by Kyle, who was wearing shoes. With a chuckle, you gave them kisses as well, before pulling back and gazing at the decorations, as well as at your men. A grin spread across your lips. “Best Christmas ever.”
