Happy Easter everyone! 🌼 And that's the last seven drawings for this Tolkien project, it makes 42 characters in total! Still, I'd like to add at least a few from Silmarillion. I'll see if I can find the time.

IDG WHY PEOPLE ARE SURPRISED ORC HAVE FEMALES AND BABIES

In The Hobbit the goblin king literally has a disabled son(the tiny goblin on the zipline) and in the literal LOTR movie they say SARUMAN

BRED. ORCS. WITH. GOBLIN MEN. So that is PRESUMABLY FEMALE ORCS WITH GOBLIN MEN

Tolkien also wrote orc women exist but in the books we only see soldiers so we don't see any orc women which I assume were kept to breed more orcs like?

Tolkien confirms that female orcs existed. In a letter to Mrs. Munby, he writes that “there must have been orc-women. But in stories that seldom if ever see the Orcs except as soldiers of armies in the service of the evil lords we naturally would not learn much about their lives."
