Dear Gus & Magnus,

We had our first Comm Team Christmas party this year at Lost Forty Brewing. Laura talked about each employee and how they've contributed to the mission this year. And we recently asked for peer-nominations for the best team player of the year. We didn't anticipate one of the team leaders to get so many nominations, so Laura recognized Amber (team leader) as well as Kate -- both of them are worthy of the recognition. And then Derek and Sasha spoke about Laura and noted that she recently became Garver's first female executive when she was quietly promoted to Chief Communications Officer. To recognize that, we gifted her a large photo of the team on stage at Summit.

SIDENOTE: G&T kept you while Mom and I went to the party. It was the first time they'd kept you both. They were all in bed by the time we got home before 10pm. I'm stoked about having an extra two sets of hands to babysit nearby.
