Confessions. ✉
Tumblr media
✉ Bakugo Katsuki X GN Reader
(One-shot)
Summary: You and Katsuki have been together for a while, but now you're realizing you're putting in more effort into the relationship than he is. It bothers you so much you start to ignore him to hopefully get a confession out of him.
Word Count: 1,714
Enjoy!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You and Bakugou have been dating for over five months. He’s not your typical boyfriend who buys you flowers or chocolates, or says sappy things to you. He’s more of a “Let me see your new moves, or let me see if you can beat me!”, type of boyfriend. Nonetheless you wouldn’t want him any other way. But if you had to list a problem you would say that he lacks saying how he feels towards you.
He doesn’t shower you in compliments like, “You’re so beautiful/pretty, or Nice Outfit”. So to be honest you don’t really know what outfits to choose on dates because his expressions are either too angry or too cocky. But he’s still your boyfriend after all and he’s still with you so clearly he has to like you, so it doesn’t bother you as much. Recently though, you’ve been walking around school, or going to different stores and seeing couples who show affection or say sweet words, and especially say “I love you”.
You never questioned if Katsuki loved you, but now you do because he’s never said it once. He never really holds your hand, or does big proposals or scenes. You never questioned why either, and now seeing all this sappy stuff you were wondering why he didn’t do it for you. He had expectations when it came to you though, like he would make sure you didn’t get behind in classes or training. But that was typical Katsuki, and you felt like you were putting more effort into the relationship than he was.
You would go out and buy his favorite snacks, drinks, and manga if they had it in store. You would shower him with compliments, and he didn’t need them because his ego was far too big already. The sour feeling in your mouth gets bitter everytime you walk past a couple who were affectionate, and said their feelings out loud. You went home that night and got ready for bed. You tossed and turned and couldn’t go to sleep.
The thought of confronting Katsuki about this was definitely a strong option, but you knew he wouldn’t communicate it in the best way with you, or give a lame excuse. You decided to finally stop talking to him, and blankly ignore him until he got the hint. If he didn’t get the hint then I guess there was no point in trying. You finally got into your comfortable position and pulled the covers over you, and closed your eyes.
Once you woke up in the morning you got ready for school, and made sure your uniform was presentable before walking out the door with your bag slouched over your shoulder. Today you didn’t meet up with Katsukit to walk, and he noticed that. He texted your phone, “Hey Dumbass where are you?”. You opened the message and left him to read. That only made him more mad that you didn’t answer him along with walking with him.
You got to class and sat down. Katsuki finally came in and gave a fiery glare at you. He looked annoyed. You brushed it off and went back to talking to the rest of the girls. Katsuki couldn’t help but eavesdrop just in case it was about him. The girls did ask questions about why you weren’t with him, and talked to him. You just brushed them off, trying not to reveal why, because you wanted him to catch on.
The lunch bell rang, and Katsuki looked over into your direction. You didn’t come to his desk and walk with him to lunch, instead you walked with the girls to lunch. Brushing him off. He clenched his fist. His body felt tense, and he was about to explode. He had too much pride to go over there, and steal you away. He didn’t wanna seem like a lovesick puppy, but it was pissing him off. He went and sat with Kirishima, Denki, and Sero. The whole time he was watching you, and you felt his eyes burning into your back.
The remainder of classes had finally passed, and you were packing up for dismissal. Katsuki didn’t look at you this time, and his expression was cold. He had left the class before you. That wasn’t the reaction you wanted. His pride always got the better of him. You sighed. You had to be the one to confront him, instead of him going to you like always.
You quickly followed behind Katsuki. You ran to him, and grabbed his hand, tugging him so he could turn to face you. As he faced you, the cold expression never changed.
“What?”, He said coldly.
You were shocked and you asked, “Why are you being like this?”.
“Why AM I being like this!?, You're the ONE who's been IGNORING me!”, He snapped back.
You rolled your eyes back at him, “I ignored you because I'm sick of this Katsuki!”.
“Sick of what huh? You never complained before”, He replied back.
“I'm sick of this relationship. It feels like you're more of a friend, or even a situationship then my boyfriend. We aren’t affectionate, and you don’t compliment me or anything! Hell you haven’t even said I love you!”, You screamed at him.
Katsuki was appalled by your reaction. He’s never seen you like this before. Usually you were fine with your relationship.
He raised an eyebrow, “You’ve never been like this so what’s suddenly the problem?”.
“The problem is!...”, you stopped yourself before you could speak.
If he couldn’t get the hint, then why waste your time on him?.
“You know what nevermind. Bye.”, You brushed him off and your expression became cold.
He noticed. He noticed and watched you walk away from him. The lump in his throat formed. It got bigger each step you took, and that scared him more than he’d admit. His heart felt like needles were poking him. He never felt this before with anyone. He kept watching you walk away and the feeling got even worse. He felt sick, like he couldn't breathe, and felt his eyes get a little watery.
You never yelled at him or stood up to him like that. He liked that you could stand up for yourself, but you two not having a conversation or you not being near him and ignoring him hurt so much. He couldn’t help but realize you were right. He wasn’t being a typical “Boyfriend”.
“Y/N Wait!”, He called out your name and started walking towards you.
You turned around. You were shocked he’d reach out, he was usually too prideful.
“I’m sorry, okay? I get it, I'm not a typical boyfriend. I don’t show affection, and I don't say sappy words. But I do love you. In my own way. And I'm sorry if you felt like I didn't, but you mean everything to me. So let’s stop walking away from each other and let’s talk”, He pleaded.
Your eyes widened at his words, “You said you loved me
”.
“Yeah I did? Because I do?”, Katsuki sounded confused.
A soft small smile appeared on your face, and it was confusing Katsuki.
“That’s all i wanted, i just wanted you to be honest instead of being the “Tough” guy all the time, i'm your girlfriend for christ sakes”, You chuckled.
He raised an eyebrow, “Really that’s all you wanted? A stupid Confession? You should’ve just said that instead of ignoring me”.
“First of all it isn’t stupid, and Second of all, if i asked you to do it wouldn’t be truthful now would it?”, You said.
“I guess you're right this time. I’m sorry again okay? Now can you talk to me and stop ignoring me, and walk with me again?”,He asked.
“Yes Katsuki, let’s walk home”, You replied.
He smirked, and for once held your hand. You didn’t ask because you knew he’d take it back.
He spoke up after a few minutes of walking, “Don’t forget I love you Y/N”.

Vogue
Prohero! Dynamight x Supermodel! Reader
Not really edited. No plot, just fluff.
“We’re just waiting for the car. It should be here any minute,” you hum into the phone, leaning casually against the kitchen island. The elegant outfit you’re wearing—a thoughtful gift from your in-laws—hugs your figure perfectly. The Bakugo's were ecstatic when Katsuki told them their daughter-in-law would be gracing the cover of Vogue.
The sound of heavy footsteps thundering down the stairs echoes through the house, followed by your husband’s voice calling out to you. You straighten up, pressing a finger to your lips to signal for him to keep quiet. His eyes narrow in annoyance as you turn your back on him, trying to refocus on your conversation with Momo.
“I’ll talk to his parents and see how they feel about that,” you say, struggling to concentrate as strong arms wrap around your waist, pulling you closer. Soft, peppery kisses trail along your neck, you squirm, attempting to pull away, but your husband’s grip tightens.
“The car’s here! Gotta go, bye!” you squeak, hurriedly ending the call as his lips continue their relentless assault on your senses.
You twist in his embrace, playfully pushing him away. “You're worse than a puppy.” you tease, crinkling your nose.
He smirks, pulling you closer to him again. “I'm no puppy.” His eyes sparkle with mischief as he tilts his head. “Have you seen my bite?”
“It's not worse than your bark.” you counter, looping your arms around his neck. “What’s so important that you had to interrupt my call?”
He lets out a dramatic sigh. “I'm not sure we should go out tonight." A confused look crosses your face while his fingers trace light patterns on your back. “You look way to good baby. Seriously, I think it's safer this way.”
You laugh softly, leaning your forehead against his. “You say that every time we go out. Do you want me to change?”
“Fuck no.” he mumbles before kissing you, his expression turning serious as he brushes a strand of hair behind your ear. “Are you okay? You seemed stressed on the phone.”
You take a deep breath, appreciating his concern. “I’m fine, just a lot on my mind with the shoot and all these meetings. Momo’s trying to help me but it's just alot."
His arms tighten around you. “Can I do anything to help?"
“No,” you smile softly, shaking your head. “I just want to go out and have some fun."
His expression shifts, disbelief crossing his face, as if he can’t believe you’d underestimate him like that. If you asked for the moon, he’d find a way to pull it from the sky for you.
“Fun?” he scoffs. “Tonight’s going to be the best night of your life, idiot.”
“I know,” you say softly, leaning in to kiss him again. “Thank you.”
Author's Note: I haven’t felt much inspiration to write lately, and I’m not really in love with what I’ve produced. But I don’t hate this. I like to imagine this moment takes place while you're getting ready for a nice dinner date or perhaps even a runway show that his parents are hosting.

Does anyone else have that fandom? The one fandom that you can never get away from. The old one that owns your soul like a crossroad demon and consumes your thoughts like a productivity black hole. The one that you’ve left a million times, but always come back to just for nostalgia’s sake and end up staying a while. The shiny coin to my crow brain. That fandom?

i shall be posting a list of fic recs soon but in the meantime if ur looking for any (mostly percabeth) , I reccomend any on ao3 by timelesslords and captainjackson - they've both written fics together and separately and they are some of, if not the best, fics I have ever read, with spot on characterisation, beautiful writing styles and inspired plots. they have some one shots as well as longer works (I mean at least one is longer than war and peace) and honesty I'm obsessed. I would sell my soul to read their fan fics for the first time again
(editing the original post bc I forgot to tag the incredible @timelesslords and @captain-jackson )

“I don’t want you to go,” Katsuki mumbles.
A little bit of the tension floods from Izuku’s shoulders. He can breathe a little better.
“Okay, good. Look, I don’t know how you’re feeling. Can we talk about it?”
Katsuki balls his hands into fists, and his answer is practically a growl, “I Don’t Kno-“
“-Annd that’s a no. Got it,” Izuku says brushing past Katsuki in the doorway to pass into the living room. “Or at least a not yet. Ignore each other on opposite sides of the couch for a while and see how it goes?”
Katsuki’s answer is an undecided grumble, but Izuku can hear him shuffling along to follow behind him.
They settle into the couch. Sitting on very opposite ends. Izuku can feel every inch of space between them. He tucks his knees to his chest and turns his back into the corner of the couch, so he is facing Katsuki, trails his eyes down to his phone and keeps them there so Katsuki doesn’t feel pressured.
After a few minutes Katsuki lets out an irritated rumble. Throws himself off the couch to head for the kitchen. He returns with his own phone in hand.
The silence feels like it goes on forever. It’s hard for Izuku. He wants to talk and touch and plan and fix. He wants to throw himself headlong at the problem and offer out his hand to help Katsuki up from where he’s fallen.
Sometimes that isn’t what Katsuki needs.
Izuku hates the way it feels stagnant between them. He hates not knowing what is going to happen. Hates letting it sit.
Sometimes Katsuki needs the space.
Ten minutes pass.
Thirty.
Nearly an hour later Katsuki speaks up again.
“I’m sorry.”
“Two in one day, huh? You’re really going for broke.”

Bakugou headcanons bc if I don't have an mha audience on this godforsaken app then I will forge one out of my own blood and sweat
He likes lizards. Something about him just makes me think he was a lizard kid
Like he def would catch them and just watch them do their little lizard things as a kid
He probably owns one or two as an adult
I saw someone say this before but he was the type of kid to collect cool looking sticks and keep em in his bag, then forget about them until his mom finds them and yells at him
"KATSUKI WHATS WITH ALL THIS GARBAGE IN YOUR BACKPACK I TOLD YOU TO CLEAN THIS UP" *waving arms angrily* "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH MY COOL STICKS!!!!"
Trans bakugou truthers I have one saved especially for uđŸ«¶
When he was a kid and was just starting to bind he wanted to feel like Mulan so he used bandages (very bad idea) and went to school like that (also a bad idea) and went to PE in that (an even worse idea)
He ended up passing out since he couldn't breathe and his teacher thought he was faking to get out of work, but ended up having to call an Ambulance
He has the energy of a kid with ADHD but who just forced himself to learn how to function properly
Like maybe as a kid he had trouble with it but it was his own decision to work hard to get better and now he is
That doesn't mean he doesn't have any other symptoms tho
He has a habit of letting his mind wander. If he's ever quiet with a calm expression and staring at nothing in particular, you know it's just The Voices putting his brain on autopilot for a while and not to bother him
I headcanon he would have 2 cats in high school, a beautiful black one he adores named Empress and a scrawny stupid looking calico named Spoingus who he found in a dumpster and just followed him home
OH ALSO ALSO
remember that black haired kid he was friends with back in middle school all the way from episode 1? (If u need a refresher just search "bakugou middle school friends")
Yea. They're exes btw. So.
They broke up mostly since black haired smoking dude (idk his name) was emotionally immature and distant, he wasn't able to be there for Katsuki the way he needed him to be.
This also ties in with my other headcanon that Katsuki is the more dependent one in the relationship, the more emotional
He definitely has a lot going on emotionally on his own, so he would want someone who can share that burden with.
You'll know he loves you when he's able to be vulnerable around you, otherwise you're just another friend or extra
He's bisexual, idc I'm calling it
I know the manga ended idgaf
He likes men who are emotionally stable, kind, and friendly, and he likes his women the exact opposite
Hc he has a thing for dominant women
Bro wants to be stepped on so baddddddđŸ˜«đŸ˜«đŸ˜«

W.I.P. of my next O.K. K.O. fic which is pretty much: Contrive a situation where PV and Dendy interact featuring a lovesick-for-Boxman Professor Venomous, and blatant anti-Windows OS commentary.
This is set post-canon and I'm probably gonna have the full version ready in the next few days.
Tumblr media
“...I didn’t want it to...AGH
” Venomous grumbled while dragging his fingers through his hair and making frustrated gestures at the computer monitor.
The screen was bright blue with a progress bar that stretched across the full length. Progress was at 0.1% with a cheeky, old school smiling emoticon sitting just above the bar. Next to the condescending smile was text reading: Porthole Version 11 Update In-Progress! Please wait.
“I warned you,” Fink said, looking mildly annoyed.
“I have papers I need to grade!” Venomous gritted his teeth and flexed his fingers a few times impatiently. “They’re due Friday.”
Fink raised her brows and watched the bar load one little millimeter further before immediately pulling back. Then the computer made a soft noise that sounded very close to tinkling laughter. For a second, the Professor reeled back and threatened to slam an angry fist through the computer screen. He saw a sad, fearful expression flash across Fink’s face and lowered his hand to his side. For extra reassurance, he shoved his hand in one of his jacket pockets.
“Where did you store the papers?” Fink asked softly.
“The...school portal thing.” He touched the monitor and traced a line down the side of the screen. “I had my login info on a sticky note
.”
He trailed off and flushed bright red as he remembered certain events from yesterday afternoon. Boxman was high off of a successful Plaza attack, he dragged Venomous into the office and started brushing, slamming, or removing things from the desk, and he’d tugged at coat and shirt buttons along the way. Caught in the intensity of the moment, Venomous only remembered tongues and flesh.
The sticky note obviously got lost somewhere in the process and probably thrown away when he’d tried to clean everything up as fast as he could before a business meeting with Cosma that same day.
“Boss
” Fink pinched her brows and massaged her forehead. “Two words: password manager.”
“Boxman was supposed to
” He swallowed thickly. “Help me set that up yesterday.”
Fink’s frustrated expression deepened. “You...asked Boxman for help?” She snorted. “Boss, you can’t be in a room together more than two minutes before you go all heart eyes and lovey dovey. Ugh
”
“Yeah
” He sighed dreamily and didn’t stop the silly smile crossing his face.
“BOSS!” Fink snapped her fingers. “Focus. There’s more going on than your Boxbutt romcom
”
“Unfortunately,” he sighed.
“Okay,” Fink took a deep breath and steepled her fingers. “I have other plans today, so I can’t spend all afternoon troubleshooting.”
“Please
” He made a prayer gesture.
“I made plans to go to Saloon Town with Darrell!” Fink picked up a gaudy cowboy hat covered with bedazzled pink gems and a skull lined band. “I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks! No way I’m passing this up.”
“I wouldn’t want you to miss that.” He smiled. “Have fun, sweetheart.”
Fink snapped again and gave him a warning look. “I don’t trust you. Shannon and Raymond are babysitting Boxbrain. He’s off limits until you fix this computer issue.” She huffed and folded her arms. “And I called in a favor from Brush-head.”
“...K.O. is coming over?” Venomous raised his brows.
“No.” Fink laughed harshly. “He’d find a way to lock you and Boxbutt in a room and ruin everything.”
Venomous idly stroked his chin and started reaching for his phone before Fink smacked his hand and groaned again.
“You’re so hopeless!”
“You’ll understand if you find a partner someday and go through a honeymoon phase,” Venomous said with a sniff and an awkward smile.
“Ugh
.you guys are so gross!” Fink grumbled. “I’m happy for you. It’s sweet but it’s gross. Okay, so Brush-head has a really tech savvy friend. She’s on her way over-”
“-I have arrived.” The aforementioned Brush-head friend walked into the office with several fluttery, shuffling steps. Dendy adjusted her beret and walked up to Fink and Venomous with an extended hand and slow blink.
“Hello, I’m Dendy. I’m here to help with your computer and other tech related issues.”
“I’m...Professor Venomous.” He took her hand, gave a firm shake, and scratched the back of his neck. “I’m...K.O.’s...bio dad. And secondary villain nemesis
.”
“I’m aware.” Dendy stared blankly at him. “You almost destroyed the entire universe a few months ago.”
“Sorry about that,” Venomous said in a low voice while his irises spun around like pin balls and sweat beaded on his forehead. He started fiddling with the lapels of his coat.
“You’re on casual battling terms with K.O. again. And POINT no longer considers you a world-ending threat.” Dendy lightly adjusted her glasses. “Those are the only parts of consequence to me. So, I have no standing issues with you, Professor.”
“So, everything’s good?” Fink casually flicked her tail.
“Indeed.” Dendy nodded.
“Okay, I’m off!” Fink walked towards the office door and conveniently, Darrell showed up with a horse head on a stick and decked out in full cowboy costume. Said costume was covered in enough rhinestones, glitter, and tassels to match Fink’s garish hat as well as overshadow Darrell’s Lord Cowboy outfit. It wasn’t as nicely put together as the Lord Cowboy one, though. This one hurt Venomous’ eyes if he stared too long and had a very flashy Las Vegas feel.
For a moment, Venomous wondered if he should be concerned about what might be at Saloon Town based on the costumes. Then he remembered that Boxman had taken the kids costume shopping last week. He wanted to up the presentation quality on Plaza attacks since Venomous and Fink had officially returned. Darrell just wanted to show off one of his new outfits!
For a moment, Venomous smiled fondly. Then his thoughts started filling with Boxman. He parked himself in the office chair with a loud thud and wrapped his hands around the arms with an iron grip.
“Porthole is very frustrating,” Dendy said as she tugged off her hack-pack.
“...what?” Venomous blinked and returned to the present moment. Fink and Darrell were gone. The office door had slid shut again.
“I’m not fond of the Porthole operating system.” Dendy pointed at his monitor. “Everyone with a version of Porthole prior to Version 11 is experiencing forced updates like yours. I recently had to troubleshoot systems at Mr. Gar’s Bodega, Strawbaby Coutre, and several other Plaza businesses.”
“Is this update why Boxman was successful yesterday?”
Dendy nodded. “Its also the reason behind Mr. Gar throwing his personal computer into the alleyway dumpster. I had to spend an hour convincing him to dig it back out. Things have been very...frustrating lately.”

None quite top the workaholic troupe better than Archmage Lucilicca herself. Though, on her rare days of relaxation she finds herself attempting to cater to you. And with many protests she’ll back off. With only a simple glass of fruit wine and you in her reach maybe she could actually slow down for a day.

A Birthday to Remember: Rekindling Love for Katsumi's Sake ♡
Tumblr media
{One shot} Bakugo Katsuki X Female Reader
Summary: You guys share a now four-year-old daughter named Katsumi. You and Katsuki have been divorced for two years, and you usually see each other when it involves your daughter. You guys usually fight often, and that's what also led you guys to divorce. Now, today is your daughter's fourth birthday party. Would this be any different from all the other events?
----------------------------------✧àŒșâ™„àŒ»âˆž----------------------------------
Today was Katsumi's fourth birthday. I dressed her in a pretty, sparkly pink princess dress. I tied her spikey blonde hair into two cute pigtails, with two sparkly pink bows keeping them in place. Katsumi had the same appearance as Katsuki, but her attitude was just like mine. I woke up early and set everything up for her. Her birthday theme was Candy-land. God, that girl loves sugar.
I rented a private park for her birthday party. So she could play with her friends and enjoy herself. She was too young for an arcade, but next year i’ll take her. I had set up all the balloons. They were shaped into candies, and the letter balloons spelled her name. I had set three long tables together and put a pink, blue, and purple cloth on all three tables on top to add a covering. Soon the tables were filled with sweets and delicious food. I had made goodie bags the night before stuffing them with candy, slime, bracelets, and anything a little kid would love I set all the goodie bags on display for her friends to come to enjoy.
Soon all the friends Katsumi had invited and their parents had came to. They had placed gifts in the gift piles, and Katsumi ran with the other kids to play around. Katsuki still hasn’t showed up and it’s been 20 minutes since the party started. I was talking to Kirishima, Mina, and Denki, as we sat down at the food table watching our kids from afar.
“Is Bakugo coming?”, Kirishima asked.
I perked up at his words,’ I hope so. Katsumi will be very upset if he doesn’t, but yet again he’s always late to important days like this”, I said in an annoyed tone.
Mina chimmed in and rubbed my arm, “He’s the number one hero now
so I don’t think he misses or comes late on purpose”.
“Yeah I get that, but he's a father now. He can’t do this at every event..”, I looked at all of them and my anger brushed off slightly.
All three of them could feel the tension in the air, and decided to drop the topic of Katsuki for now. As I was just starting to calm down, there was a car that pulled up. And speaking of the devil it’s none other than Katsuki himself. He steps out wearing his finest attire and coming towards us. I looked at them and then at the others and sighed. I walk over to Katsumi, who’s playing with her friends.
“Katsumi Honey! Daddy is here!”, I yell for katsumi.
I had the fact that I was angry at him for her and gave her a smile. She looks back at me and gets off the swings and starts running to Katsuki who is now with Kirishima and the other’s. Katsuki hears her little feet running towards him and he smiles. When she reaches him, he bends down and picks her up.
“Happy birthday homey, sorry i’m late, did you save me some of momma’s yummy cupcakes she made?”, Katsuki smiles at Katsumi.
Katsumi nods and cuddles into his arms, “Of course Daddy!”.
I stare at them as I make my way back over. Katsuki is lucky she's young, or else she would retaliate against him. Katsuki and Katsumi make their way over to the table, and they both start devouring cupcakes. They’re both messy eaters, and I can't help but giggle. Kirishima, Mina, and Denki start looking at me and smirking.
Katsuki lets Katsumi go play, as he walks over to us. He can tell something is in the air as he looks at me.
“What's wrong?”, Katsuki asks.
“Katsuki, you show up late or miss every single important event of her life!. Thats whats wrong”, I give him a glare crossing my arms at him.
Katsuki’s face relaxes and he lets out a deep breath, “Relax, I’m sorry, i had to take out some villains at the last minute. I can’t just walk away from that. I could loose my title.”
I balled my hands into fist and my face started to twitch.
“You care more about some dumb hero title more than your daughter!? Is that it Katsuki huh!?”, I yelled.
Katsuki’s face changes and he gives me a stern look and crosses his arms.
“No! I love our daughter, you’re always trying to paint me as a bad person. I am an amazing father, but I am also the number one hero. Something you would never understand YN. You are like a leech. I do everything for our daughter and give everything to you for her!, and all you do is nag me!”, Katsuki yells back and gets closer to me.
Katsumi and everyone start looking. She starts to run over to us. Mine and his body language change when she comes over. The party guests fell silent when Katsumi came over and tugged on her father's pants.
“Daddy, stop yelling at momma
”, Katsumi said quietly, her eyes filling with tears.
Katsuki. Your heart sank at your daughter's words. Katsuki took a deep breath and calmed down for their daughter.
“I’m sorry baby, I got upset and shouldn’t have yelled, can you forgive Daddy?” Katsuki gave her a reassuring smile and picked her up while running his hands through her spiky blonde hair.
Katsumi gave him a warm smile back and hugged his neck tightly, “Of course, I can
just stop being mad at momma.”
He rubbed her back softly, “I won’t be honey. Come on, let’s go have some ice cream.”
Katsumi’s smile beamed and she nodded her head quickly. Katsuki set her down and she ran over to the table near the ice cream station.
Katsuki looked over at you and sighed, “Look, lets just pretend none of this happened and get along, for her birthday.”
I nodded and respected what he said. It was our daughter’s birthday, we shouldn’t ruin it for her. The guests finally started to talk amongst themselves again. Mina was cheering me up, and calm down from the former argument. As the party resumed, they spent the next while helping their daughter open her presents. Katsuki gave her a little kiss on the cheek as she blew out her birthday candles and got the first slice of cake.
After a while he would get approached by multiple moms who would introduce themselves. A few were bluntly flirting with him, and he would laugh and flirt back. His cocky self loved the praise the women would give him, especially for being the number one hero.
I glared over to him and the moms surrounding them. Flirting at my daughter’s birthday party, with my ex-husband? I was not gonna have that. I walked over to the group, and they all went silent including Katsuki. The annoyed expression on my face filled up the tension around the mom and they slowly one by one walked away. Katsuki was looking a bit annoyed himself.
“What is your deal today?”, He pulled her arm and led her away from the party.
“Nothing, I just don’t wanna see flirting or anything like that at OUR daughter’s birthday party”, I crossed my arms.
“Oh please, you only interfered because you got jealous” " he scoffed.
“I am not jealous”, She looked away from him.
“You are and you can’t even look me in the face and say it. Y’know one day we’re gonna have to actually talk instead of arguing, and talk about our relationship or we will keep fighting and eventually ruin both our relationship with our daughter. Do you want that?”, His voice was stern and expression was serious.
“No, I don’t”, I sighed and crossed my arms.
“Good. Look I hate being late and missing stuff, but I'm doing this for you and our daughter. Hell if I'm going to be honest you're the reason why i'm number one. I still love you, even though our marriage was rocky, I only wanted to better myself after our divorce. And i did it for you. You know that to. You know i still love you, and yet you're to stubborn to cave in and let your guard down and say “Katsuki, im still in love wit you”, because i know you still are..”, He paused, and his gaze was soft.
“It’s never been about the attraction or the sex, i’ve always, always loved you. So much. So why can’t you finally admit you love me still huh?”, He sounded frustrated but his voice held a hint of sadness.
“Because.. I don’t want a fucked up marriage again. I don’t wanna fight every day like we used to..”, My voice was vulnerable.
“Everyone fights. We fight because we’re both stubborn. I know i can be stupid sometimes, and i’ve made mistakes, and i will keep making mistakes because that's what people do. But that doesn’t change what i feel for you. Whenever you make a mistake or get upset, and we fight, that never stopped me from loving you.”, Katsuki cups my face and rubs his thumb across it.
“You know deep down, that you feel the same way. You want me to hold you, kiss you, and comfort you, and love you. But your to stubborn to admit it. I’m stubborn just as much but i can admit that i love you.”, Katuski looks lovingly into my eyes.
“I do love you. I thought a divorce was best because we just kept fighting and it was becoming so much and i didn’t want our daughter to go through that
”, I look up at him.
“I know, i know. We were just stressed and made a dumb mistake. But we both love each other and our daughter. We’re in this together so we have to make this work no matter what. Now stop being stubborn and let’s take things slow and get back together”, Katsuki tucks a loose hair behind my ear.
“Okay, let’s give it a go. No more hurting each other. Lets communicate, and work this time”, I smile softly at him.
“Okay. I love you
”, Katsuki says, as he leans in and gives me a sweet passionate slow kiss.
I can feel his love through the slow kiss. The kiss i’ve been yearning for since he left. The distant feeling felt familiar once again. His touch burned into my memory. I love him, and he loves me. He breaks the kiss, and looks down at me. The softest look he’s given me in a while.
I break the silence, and look up at him. “I love you to, Katsuki".

The Night Shift
The Night Shift is a tale about friendship, love, and the journey of self-discovery. While it offers moments of humor and sugar sweet love, it delves into deeper themes, exploring the complexities of morality and the human experience.
Pro!Hero Dynamight x Doctor! Reader
TW: Slight mentions of blood and wounds, nothing graphic.
Katsuki Bakugo was never the type to fall in love. He had ambitions far bigger than settling down or starting a family. From a young age, he knew he was destined for greatness—nothing less than becoming the number one hero. Every party skipped, every night spent training while others rested—it was all for that singular goal.
Love? That was a distraction he couldn’t afford. Or at least, that’s what he thought. So, why have you taken over every corner of his mind?
The first time he saw you, he was barely conscious, his body screaming in pain after a brutal battle that had left him battered and bleeding. As soon as they unloaded him from the ambulance, there you were, waiting at the entrance of the emergency room. Bakugo could feel the weight of his injuries pulling him under, but he fought it, every muscle tense as he struggled to keep his eyes open—for just a moment longer.
You leaned over him as the medics rushed him in, your voice steady but soft. You rattled off medical terms he couldn’t make sense of, words that blurred together in the haze of pain. But he didn’t need to understand them—the look on your face said it all.
Bakugo didn't care about himself in that moment. He was too busy trying to memorize the way your hair framed your face, the way your eyes flicked down to meet his, offering him a brief, reassuring glances. Everything hurt, his body was a mess, but he kept forcing his eyes open—just to catch another glimpse of you.
The room was a blur of chaos—nurses and doctors rushing around, the smell of antiseptic mingling with the metallic tang of blood. He could feel every pulse of pain in his body, but you... you led your team into battle. A calm figure in the middle of it all, your white coat splattered with red, eyes sharp and focused.
Today, he walks through Central Hospital, a deep cut stretching across his abdomen, hidden beneath his leather jacket, the pain gnawing at him with every step. Despite the agony, he refuses to see anyone else. He needs you. Only you.
No one questions him. Heroes walking through hospital halls isn’t unusual, especially with the kind of battles they face daily. The hero ignores every nurse who tries to greet him, their words fading into background noise. Bakugo's eyes dart around, scanning the sterile white walls and bustling medical staff.
Finally, he spots you just as you pull back the curtain of a patient’s room. You step out, looking weary, your hair slightly disheveled from what must have been a grueling shift. Bakugo stalks toward you, his face a hard mask of determination. When you turn to head to the front desk, he clears his throat loudly to stop you in your tracks.
You blink in surprise, seeing the imposing figure standing there. “Dynamight?” you question, pushing a few strands of hair out of your face, trying to mask your exhaustion behind a professional demeanor. The weight of the night shift is evident in your voice.
He grimaces slightly, glancing around as if asking for help is somehow beneath him, but he can’t hide the urgency in his tone. “I need your help, doc.”
Your eyes narrow as you study him, sensing something is off. “You’re hurt, aren’t you?” you ask, more a statement than a question.
Bakugo doesn’t answer, but the way his jaw clenches tells you enough. You grab his arm, ignoring his attempt to pull away. Without hesitation, you motion him into an empty room nearby, your tiredness momentarily forgotten as your instincts take over.
“I swear, you heroes are all the same,” you mutter, carefully helping the hero peel off his shirt to reveal the deep gash running down his side. The wound looks worse than you expected—raw and jagged, as if it hasn’t been treated since he received it. You frown, surprise evident as you examine it closely.
“How long ago did this happen?” you ask, your voice sharper than intended. “Why didn’t the medics treat this on site?”
“I don’t need some dimwit touching up on me,” Bakugo grumbles, his jaw tight as he looks away, stubborn as ever.
You raise a brow, a teasing smile playing on your lips. “So, you wanted me touching you instead?”
His reaction is immediate. His cheeks flush red, and for a moment, the usual cocky, arrogant hero seems flustered. Bakugo avoids your gaze, clearly rattled by your words.
“What were you thinking?” you whisper, the teasing edge to your voice softening as concern creeps in. You’ve only known him through his media presence and the few times he’s been under your care after his last few hospital stays. But still, some part of you aches seeing him like this.
Bakugo smirks, leaning back on the bed with his usual arrogance. “I was thinking I’d beat the crap outta that villain, and I did,” he replies with a cocky grin. “You didn’t see me on TV?”
“I’ve been dealing with the mess left from your ‘victory.’ So, no.”
Bakugo’s gaze follows your hands as you prepare to use your quirk. He knows what it does to you—how much energy it takes. He’s seen you drained more than once after patching him up. Still, you never hesitate, even when your hands tremble, and you border on the edge of passing out.
He lets out a low chuckle. “You’re always scolding me, doc. Starting to sound like my old nurse in highschool.”
You roll your eyes, unable to stop a small smile from tugging at your lips despite the exhaustion weighing on you. “I feel bad for your nurse." You reply laughing. "Maybe if you’d stop showing up here all busted up, I wouldn’t have to.”
The room falls quiet for a moment, the chaos of the ER fading into the background as Bakugo watches you work. Your hands move with steady precision, the glow of your quirk illuminating his wound as you begin to heal it. He doesn’t say a word, just watches, his eyes tracking every careful movement you make.
You shouldn’t care this much. He’s just another patient, just another hero in a long line of people you’ve treated. But as your fingers brush against his skin, feeling the tension in his muscles, that ache in your chest tightens.
“You’re quieter than usual,” you say softly, breaking the silence, glancing up at him briefly before returning to the wound.
He huffs, trying to mask the way his body stiffens under your touch. “Not much to say,” he mutters, eyes still fixed on you.
You chuckle under your breath, shaking your head. “That’s a first.”
Another pause fills the air, the quiet settling between you again. You steal a glance at him, catching the way his eyes flicker away from yours, his usual bravado nowhere to be found. Something about this moment feels different—more intimate than it should be.
"You're tough, I’ll give ya that," he says quietly, his tone a touch softer than before. "Most people would’ve cracked by now."
You glide your hands to the other side of his chest, the soft glow of your quirk casting a gentle light over every muscle and fiber, illuminating the intricate details of his form. “Guess you haven’t pushed me hard enough yet,” you reply with a smirk, though your voice wavers slightly as the energy starts to drain from you.
His eyes narrow slightly as he watches you. “Careful there, doc. Don’t go passing out on me. You need your strength.”
“I’m fine,” you insist, even as you feel the weight of the healing tugging at you more than usual. When it’s finally done, you exhale shakily and pull your hands back, trying to steady yourself.
Bakugo catches your wrist before you can move away, his grip firm. “Don’t push yourself too hard for idiots like me,” he mutters. “You don’t have to waste all your energy every time.”
You blink, surprised by the sudden shift in his demeanor. For a moment, you see through his rough exterior—the concern in his eyes that he probably doesn’t even realize is there.
“Since when do you care?” you ask, raising an eyebrow.
Katsuki shrugs, leaning back with a smirk once more. “Don’t get used to it, doc. Just thinkin’ it'd be a shame if you burned yourself out before you get to see me win that number one spot.”
You laugh, the sound light but genuine despite your fatigue. “You’re impossible, you know that?”
Bakugo grins. “Maybe. But you like it.”
Part 2:
Author's Notes: I'm gonna be honest. I had 3 espresso martinis at dinner, I thought this made sense when writing it, but the words aren't wording anymore.
Okay, goodnight nerds.

Two is Better than one
I went wild with this one :D
Chapter six
Sasha entered her apartment with the quiet click of the front door. She tossed her backpack onto the chair in the kitchen and started a cup of tea. A clatter from the adjacent room caught her attention. She frowned slightly before peeking her head into the other room.
It took her a moment to process the scene before her eyes.
Micheal was sitting on her living room floor, long fingers carefully curling through the fur of a content cat purring below him. She noted a secondary feline to the left, pawing at a strand of long spindly blonde hair. He glanced at her lazily, tipping his head to the side and humming.
There was only one thing wrong with this picture. Sasha didn't own pets.
"Micheal-what?"
His smile widened. "Hello my dear."
She gestured to the cat now rolling onto its back as Micheal petted its belly. "Where did these come from?"
He looked over at the one still playing with his hair. "They followed someone into my corridors. They followed me here."
Right. Sasha shook her head and sat down, the one on its back stretched out before moving towards her curiously, it had orange hair like a tabby. She pet it and it purred in response.
"Micheal."
"Sasha."
"I don't have the stuff for these guys. I barely have the room, you don't really expect me too-" Her words were cut short as she watched the grey one tangled in Micheal's hair sound out a small mewl as Micheal tenderly picked it up in its hands with too much bone and fingers that stretched too far across. The cat didn't seem to mind.
Micheal hummed as he watched the cat in his arms twist and curl, purring contently as if Micheal wasn't a terrifying monster. Sasha dared to smile.
"I believe, if I remember correctly, these creatures need food, water." He chimed lightly. Sasha rolled her eyes.
"Fine. There's a store down the way from here. They have pet supplies." Sasha sighed as she stood to her feet. "And they are cats, Micheal."
He didn't so much as stand to his feet, rather a blur of motion and colors that stretched out and scattered like sand before he was standing in front of her. "Cats. Yes."
She grabbed her bag and walked towards the door, stopping when she realized Micheal was following her.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm coming with you of course." He giggled, "silly question."
"Right." Sasha smiled, "This won't end badly at all."
----------------------------------------------
The actual trip wasn't horrible.
Besides the fact that every single dog started barking at Micheal which earned them a few curious glances from the staff, they made it out with a sack of cat food, cat litter, and a box. Even more than she had expected, Micheal paid. Handing the cash to the women as Sasha looked at him with such a confused expression she partially believed he did it just to see her reaction. Laughing as they left the store with the supplies. She simply shook her head.
"I think- he had one."
Sasha looked over at him, he looked, well, human. The way his coat sat on his shoulders and down past his boots, his hands wrapped around a bag of cat food. His eyes trained on nothing before looking over at her with a sharp smile.
Sasha frowned. "Who?"
"Micheal. Before-" His words echoed and trailed off.
Sasha understood. "I'm sorry." The words felt stupid in her mouth.
"Do not be, its-" he paused. "It's a nice memory, I am not sorry to have it, amongst the fractals of everything and nothing and the not-in between, it is nice."
Sasha thought about her question a moment before asking. "What's it like?"
"What?"
"The...what you said about the fractals and the nothingness, delusion...what's it like?"
"It Is Not What It Is and it is a part of me" he said it like a broken tune from some forgotten nursery rhyme. "It is madness- throaty, hollow, the depths of doubt- madness that stirs in the mind. It is not a physicality, but, within it, there is a certain
” He paused. “Ah! Beauty. Like a fine piece of decoration in a mundane hallway." Micheal laughed long and hard as they approached her building.
"You say it's beautiful?"
He giggled and shook his head. "You tell me, my dear, what with your It Knows You, all that knowledge will never satisfy, never relief, you see all and yet-" They entered her house to the two cats scratching up her couch and seemingly content with life. “Madness floods the senses and dilutes the mind, leaving it clear. It changes perception, blinds reality. It's a song sung with all the wrong notes and the wrong tune but it is beautiful nonetheless.” He sat the bag on the kitchen table and she prepared two bowls.
“A broken melody is still broken.”
“Ah, but only you would know if it's broken.”
Sasha paused and stared at him. He was crouched down, pouring the food into the bowl she had provided. It got everywhere and he giggled. Letting out a hummed “oops.” Before moving a long finger to scatter the dropped food even further. His hair cascaded around his shoulders and swept across the floor, the grey cat already taking interest in his dubbed playtoy.
She understood what he meant. And maybe there was a relieving beauty to it. Someone’s only lost if they themselves don’t know how to get to their destination. But if someone is simply wandering, well. There could be a comfort to that. Ignorance is bliss after all. A buzz of muddled headspace that someone looks for within drugs or alcohol. A weight lifted from the mind as it's consumed by something that isn’t tangible.
“Do you understand?” He looked back at her, the pieces of food that had missed the bowl now nowhere to be seen. The two cats had taken an interest in the food and water and were quick to indulge themselves. She looked into Micheal’s eyes, the swirling spirals that seemed to impossibly dilate as he looked at her. He seemed softer, somehow. All folded up and crouched on her floor seemingly as protection to the felines happily eating away. His sweater changed and morphed in color and she half wondered where his coat went. His scarf was wound around his neck and seemed to move like a snake, continually curling over his shoulders. Twisting and bending and pulling in every direction. He was an enigma to look at. Madness. An ever shifting idea that barely took shape before it was changing again. Beautiful. She decided.
He was beautiful.
She almost forgot he was waiting for a response. “I understand.” The words didn’t feel nearly enough. Some part of her reminded herself that she was supposed to be scared of this thing that had casually dropped two cats at her feet like it was nothing. This thing that bought the supplies with money she wasn’t sure he was even supposed to have. This thing that had given her a distorted flower that she still had in the living room. This thing that followed her around with a curiosity she couldn’t explain. This thing that had kissed her cheek instead of killing her when she had been in its corridors. She ignored that voice and instead moved to fix the litter box in the washroom.
Not even an hour later she was curled up on the couch petting the tabby as Micheal played with the gray one on the floor not even a foot away.
“What are their names?” She asked him, breaking the silence that seemed to muffle Micheal’s laughter as he let the cat swipe at his long fingers, pulling them away just in time.
“Names are redundant.”
She rolled her eyes. “I think I’ll call this one Pumpkin.”
He didn’t look away from the cat, letting it catch his fingers and pull them down to bite playfully. Micheal hardly seemed bothered. “Daisies.”
“The cat? That’s a pretty name.”
“No-” He giggled. “I remembered. I was picking them up.” He drew his hand away and pointed at the mess of lines and colors that had once been a flower, sitting in a jar on the coffee table.
Sasha smiled back. “Daisy it is. Pumpkin and Daisy.”
