Her eyes follow his to the ceiling. He was right, the Opera was a beautiful edifice. The painted ceiling alone was so grand that even after years of seeing it she found herself in wonder of intricacies she missed the first thousand times she looked up at it.

"Word spreads fast at The Opera." She laughs a little, her nose wrinkling under the bride of her glasses.

"The ballet de corps seem to think rather highly of you." She returned her gaze to him.

"I was hired to help in costuming some years ago."

{I genuinely thought I responded to this, sorry. Pls ignore any mistakes, I write all of these at like 3 am when inspiration strikes me over the head.}

"Ah, my! I believe we've met before.. Though, we were not properly introduced." He straightens the lapel of his jacket and extends his hand for shaking, then retracts it and quickly bows instead.

"Julien de Auclair." He grins, eyes crinkling on the edges, "And you, miss?"

Idony puts on a smile that she hopes comes across as friendly, extending her hand. When she realizes the gesture isn't going to be returned, she pulls her hand back awkwardly, reaching to fidget mindlessly with her locket necklace.

"Idony Petrikov. It's a pleasure to meet you, Monsieur." She mimics his gesture, bowing politely.

"You are one of the painters here, yes?"

The New York City !

New York City!!! 

Back in my school days most of the movies that I watched started with the New York Sky Line. About 10 years later New York is not a dream anymore. I was lucky enough to visit the city twice in 2018. 

This image was shot through my eyes when the New York City looked absolutely divine and godly from the Rockefeller Center, Manhattan.

💛 Alright, introduction. Well, umm, I am Idony Petrikov, pleased to meet you!! I'm 22 years old and work within the Palais Garnier, which is obviously why I'm here. I take on many hats, but I was hired to help in costuming.

🤍 Things to Know About Idony ~

Her name is Idony Petrikov, her friends call her Idy and Erik calls her Doe.

She is AroAce and Agender. Obviously due to the era, she lacks words for this and finds it much easier to comply with what's expected, save for a few close people.

She is chronically fatigued

She's 22 years old and has been working in the Opera House since she was 19.

She works in costuming at The Opera and does other backstage tasks, as well as cleaning. She likes to help with painting when she can.

She is a artist in her free time and often tries to sell her work.

She started as an Opera Ghost fanatic until she met Erik. Now she helps to enable that tale in the Opera to try and keep him safe.

Her Mother plays in the Orchestra at The Opera house.

🤍 This mainly takes place in The Phantom of The Opera 1990 universe as she is my S/I for Cherik. I also use her for ALW Erik and so occasionally meld some of that lore into the universe as well as Leroux Novel lore. My historical accuracy is questionable at best, lol :)

🤍 This is my first time doing a blog like this so bare with me as I get comfortable running it!!
