what kind of hobbies does machete have, and is there any artist, musical or visual, that he likes in particular?

He's an avid reader and has an impressive personal library. Crowds and big public events aren't his thing but he enjoys going to theatre and opera occasionally. He commissions and collects art, I'd like to believe he's a patron to at least a couple of painters and sculptors. If I had to pick one artist to be his favorite, I think it might be an obvious choice but I'd have to go with Caravaggio, a contemporary of his.

Love how it takes a season and a half to see Clyde at home and the second we do it's just: this is a boy who wants to be an artist. he cooks dinner regularly. he loves his mum so so much and will make sure she never doubts it.

BEAUTIFUL character choices

#his mum will willfully embarrass him in front of his bff (hm i wonder where he got his sense of humor)#and he will let her with only mild complaining! because loving his mother is more important than looking like a cool kid!#they very clearly have a close relationship that functions with a lot of mutual teasing (again can you see clyde coming from anything else?#but equally clearly he won't cross a line where it's NOT coming from a place of affection #...am i drawing this from very little data yes. is it possible he had his moody stages especially pre-canon? also yes #but somehow i still suspect that Never Hurt Mum has been a firmly ingrained personal rule at LEAST since his dad left them #very possibly before. he's not going to be RUDE to his MUM he's not a monster #okay EDIT: he says he blamed his mum for the split for some period. he's clearly still mad at himself for that. honey
