Just a bit of lore relevant vent art (with terrible proportions bc apparently I mess that up horribly when I'm tired ugh. Watch me regret posting this tomorrow. The head size is already driving me mad bc it's too big, and I can feel myself wanting to abort this mission already) of Mourynn just, lying down on top of one of those large elevated Pale Tree roots far above the Grove (and far away from everyone else), and during the time between the early years and before the Personal story. Caithe is gone (Destiny's Edge), Wynne is gone (bc well, y'know...), even Faolain is gone (bc of Caithe in DE), and she's just feeling miserable, lost, and alone. (Her hair is in between her sapling hair and the Zhaitan hair, so it's grown out a bit bc she's depressed, and she's meant to be in the new outfit she designed, but I'm in the process of redesigning it a bit, so I've made a few tentative changes for now. Her collar is now just an extension of her clavicle leaves which can be put up like a collar, or can be draped down over her shoulders or back)

I adore SanVee so much. It's not just them, the entire cast has been a delight to watch on screen. When I saw the teaser for the first time, I thought it would be another series that I wouldn't really like. Usually, I can't stand the cliches found in these tropes, but the series expertly weaves them together, making me forget that I even hated it.

It didn't come across as "they're destined," but rather as "they choose to be destined," and they portrayed it effectively. San not only letting go of Wad, but also his anger towards Third, just fantastic choices all around in the last two episodes. San's decision to separate them actually made sense. Old man San would think exactly that.

I love that it ended with no one definitely knowing who exactly was Wad. Perhaps both of them were - Vee got her soul, Wadfah got her face, perhaps neither of them, perhaps it was Vee. But it doesn't matter. This series wasn't the love story between Wad and San, it was San and Vee's story. And their story ended in such a beautiful way that it made me cry tears of happiness as the credits rolled and I immediately opened this.

First episode was a delight and every episode since has just been hilarious, heartbreaking and most of all so filled with love. It's been embarrassingly long since I genuinely loved a series from start to finish. These characters are staying with me forever.

Part of acknowledging and celebrating good representation is appreciating those who paved the way for it. The actors and the writers behind it, but also the ones who came before it, and the ones who fought so hard but it just wasn't enough. The characters and the writers that walked so that Tim and Oliver and Buck could run. Those who came before had an impact, they mattered and they are a huge part of the reason we've gotten to where we are now.

Countless queer characters have been censored, sidelined and erased. I can think of countless examples. We're only now turning the tide and taking those stories back, taking ownership of what could've and what should've been.

There was a time before November 5th 2020 and there was a time after it, just like there was a time before April 4th 2024 and a time after it. They did what would've been unthinkable before, and the world will be a better place for it. It's not all about Destiel, because many shows and characters paved the way for them too, but let's acknowledge the impact of November 5th. We may meme that day to hell but God you just had to be there. Broke tumblr multiple times, trended over the US election, brought everyone and their mother out of the Woodwork. It's something I've only seen replicated now with Buck. This is a celebration, but it's also about solidarity and about feeling seen, that's the importance and the strength of representation. The quest for better representation is ongoing, the baton is passed and I can't wait to see how far it goes. The goal of good representation is to leave the world a better place than how one found it.

This is not only my most anticipated thing of the year, but of NEXT year too, as its only coming out by then. I present to you

Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: Walpurgisnacht Rising

I'm not very into magical girl shows, but this series is the sole exception. Madoka magica in general is extremely well made, both in terms of clever and great writing, but also the art direction and bizarreness added in. Reccomend it to anyone and everyone! (Also, yuri win

Aside from that, something else im extremely ecstatic about in Rainworld's upcoming DLC... that game is my favorite thing of all time so you can imagine i am EXTREMELY godamn hyped!!!!

GOIABA JUICE!!!!!! Its also my favorite drink in general, Brazil's cuisine and drinks are rich and deliciously varied! But aside from the taste, i have many good memories attributed to it.
