on a more serious note i know ad astra as a whole isnt over but i still want to thank daybreaker for their fics. what friends are for was the very first md fic i ever stumbled upon when trying out ao3 for the first time, and prior to joining the server i was checking it near daily for uploads. god knows if i'd be as deep in ao3 as i am now if it werent for this story and convenient timing. found a baby yaku amidst the Sketchbook-glitch-corruption wreckage..... wondering if he flipped skin tones between black and red and everything in between until he saw his to-be-grandparents (and started mimicking THEIR skin tone....... )

#thinking about yakumo having weird lil homunculus proportions or other such variations #what if he just always had massive hands compared to body size. yaoi hands from birth-transformation #he was so anti-snake that he looked at hands and said YES. THIS IS THE LEAST SNAKEY I CAN BE. I WILL GO 600% ON THIS FEATURE SPECIFICALLY #changing forms from entirely obsidian... or red in patches.... or striped... or other combinations...#because he only had murals to base his human form off of? at least at first?#were the murals in colour? shaded with gradients and lighting oh so conveniently?#then how was he to know what skin tone humans are supposed to have???#imagining the first few times he encountered his grandparents in his cave #maybe they only saw a shadow with eyes darting back into the darkness #just a really long black noodle with semisnake semihuman eyes (just a hint of sclera)#and every time they visited #yakumo observed more of their features #and took on something similar to their proportions...? or hair colour? or skin colour?#and maybe even when he's first adopted into the family and leaves the cave #he's still a vibrant pink and everyone thinks he somehow got sunburnt inside a cave or smth #but then he starts seeing all the other people in the village #including diff age groups and kids who are supposedly around his age #so he starts to slowly morph his body toward those characteristics #his skin gets beige-r. reshapes his eyes a bit.... grows a bit of nose.....lengthens his limbs a bit...#(the big humans seem to treat me the same as that speCIFIC group of smaller humans... so maybe i should use them as a Model)#like... how do you even age in a human body when you have no reference for how humans age?!??!#did yakumo stare at several children in the village and watch their growth year by year #and match his body to their changes just to fit in?#did nature just know what to do?? and he just naturally grew like a human without manual manipulation?#I DEMAND ANSWERS #nu carnival yakumo

Under the hoodie/layers, she tends to wrap her legs around her kinda like a hug! And so in the first part that's the weird bumps under the hoodie. They're starting to unravel a bit. She hates being called a monkey cause it's NOT her fault she's short and has to climb on things and up things and includes people in "things" category.

#my characters #911 and 810 and 666 (Satan) are all just agents and everyone except 911 has an odd feature of sorts #such as her spider legs and 666s tail and 343s eye on her chest and so on #they just go by their assigned numbers usually until 666 overheard 911 talking on the phone and heard him say #yeah yeah its eric sorry for a new number again #bc he tends to get new phone numbers for secret keeping reasons #but he has to call his parent to check on em! so hes like yup its me! that guy with an actual name!#and 666 is like oh thats hilarious and starts to call him Prince (since he likes to sing a lot and also prince eric sooo)#and in return to being dubbed prince he starts calling 666 satan #but! 810 and 666 become really good friends and she decides it might not be his name but its more personal than a number #so she adopts the teasing nickname as an affectionate nickname #also 911 is distinctly the only actual boring human amidst the group and he just keeps finding out about the others on accident #and then since he lives at HQ he starts to offer his very boring room up to his friends so they can strip down #and let the extra limbs or parts get some air #so hes constantly just walking into his own room and having 810 in her underwear face down on his bed with her legs out #and he sighs and goes about his day #hes kinda grateful 666 just lets his tail out and keeps his pants on most days but hes also walked into his room and #no pants only boxers tail out and flicking happily #so he just kinda counts it as a win for everyone if satan is happy (satan is the nicest of them lmao)#but yes! in the first part shes basically yelling shes gonna kill him she swears to her best friend #and 911 is like yeah ok thats scary please do NOT actually choke your human jungle gym lets just not do that actually thanks!#anyway sorry for the heap of tags i wont stop overall but i will for now ty for looking at my ocs

#zeno's art #ocs #original characters #reassassination #dr savory #octavia #emery onion reliquary #lets go over their designs!!!! yay!!!!!#starting with savory - a lot has changed but not that much #he's far taller and lankier than he was before and his hair is darker purple underneath rather than green #those were just cosmetic changes to bring more personality to his silhouette and improve focus on his face #otherwise - the shape of the hair highlight changed (from ovals to an X) as did the shoes (no more broken chain on his boot 💔)#and also i tried to make his face look older because he looked out of place compared to other characters around his age #really just small changes. his design is quite simple so there isnt much to majorly overhaul #for octavia once again there are both many and not that many changes #shes spiker than ever her face shape changed and so did the shape of her limbs #also those weird little red thingies on her hair are gone. never actually liked them that much #also i just wanna say - octavia's skirt has an X on it to signify that savory made it because all his stuff has X's also #onion had the most changes. most importantly - they do not have a nose anymore #(thats just stylisation dont worry they have a nose)#but anyway their shapes have become more defined and they have freckles now!!! yay!!!!#god i really dont have much to say do i . ummmm these are the final designs and most likely the ones that will show up in the actual comic #when i finally write past chapter 1 o_o #ok bye sorry for all that waffle #i also drew up some other designs but they're spoilers

Law straight up based his jolly roger on Doffy's. Like it's not even kinda subtle. (Not that Law does subtle. Which is weird for someone trying SO HARD to be dark, mysterious, and edge-y as Kikoku. )

Trafalgar spent years of his life travelling around the world, gaining notoriety and power, putting into place a series of intricate moving parts that all had to come together in just the right way all so Doflamingo would notice him and remember his face forever.
