can you write an elphaba x reader where elphaba is oblivious to the crush she has on reader until glinda points it out to her
my first little blurb for elphie!!!! this is just pure pining and the wlw experience. enjoy and please let me know what you think! 🤍
Elphaba didn’t settle into Shiz University easily.
The mocks, the looks, the glinda fan group. It was all too much for her. Until she met you. While others would mock her differences, you celebrated them.
You met her in the library and immediately felt drawn to her. Like some sort of invisible string with tying you together. You also noticed the awful amount of stares and mockery this poor girl was getting. So you made it your job to make her as comfortable as possible. You planted yourself down right next to her, taking your books out as if nothing had happened.
Elphaba looked up from her books, her fingers pushing up the glasses that had fallen down the bridge of her nose. She was about to open her mouth when she looked straight into your eyes.
You grinned, your smiling almost blinding.
“I’m Y/N,” You said opening up your history book.
Elphaba still didn’t know what to say.
“I’m actually in your history class, but we’ve never spoken until now. Well, I mean. I’m only speaking, you get what I mean,” You blabbered, getting your gel pens out of your bag. You had planned to study as you were really falling behind in history already, but this girl. This beautiful, green girl has caught your interest.
“Uh..” Elphaba started, her eyes going to her books.
“Is it ok if I sit with you? You’re the smartest in the class,” You asked, eyes hopeful. Elphaba sighed, but eventually nodded.
And soon, those library meetings became regular. Elphaba didn’t really speak, but she listened. And you felt heard.
“I brought my favourite,” You hummed dropping your famous cookies in front of Elphaba. She smiled and turned around squeezing your arm. You blushed lightly at the touch.
“Glinda will be so jealous,”
At this point, Glinda had seen what you had seen the first time Elphaba arrived. She saw how powerful and kind this girl truly was, and somehow the three of you became friends.
“Well, she doesn’t study with us, so no cookies for her,” You stated, matter of factly. You took a seat on the edge of the table, beside Elphaba. For some reason, Elphaba couldn’t keep her eyes trained on your face. Her eyes wandered down your bare legs, and if she wasn’t so green you’d be able to see the pink forming on her cheeks.
She had never felt so flustered before. She didn’t know what this feeling was. Why was her heart racing, why was her mouth dry?
That night, she sat beside Glinda watching her take off her make up at her vanity.
“What does it mean if your heart races around someone?” Elphaba asked.
Glinda giggled, “I’ve been waiting for this!” She exclaimed, almost jumping into Elphaba’s arms.
“You like Y/N!”
Elphaba gasped, “I do not. That’s ridiculous. We’re just friends,” She insisted.
Glinda raised an eyebrow, “You like her. You like her. You like her!”
She opened her mouth to deny, but she couldn’t. Because it was true.
She liked Y/N.

🗝️.solitude is not a curse—it’s a gift.
In a world that often emphasizes the importance of social connections, friendships, and belonging, it’s easy to feel like being alone means something is wrong. The pressure to have a group of friends or to always be socially engaged can be overwhelming. But, the truth is, being alone without friends is completely ok ! or having no friends is not only okay—it can be a powerful and enriching experience. "Why" :
© bloomzone
The Value of Solitude
There is something incredibly liberating about having time to yourself. When you’re not constantly worried about fitting in, impressing others, or maintaining a social circle, you have the space to truly be yourself. Solitude allows you to focus on your passions, interests, and personal growth. It’s during these quiet moments of being alone that you discover your true self—your dreams, desires, and strengths. Some people think that without friends, they lack a sense of identity or purpose. But the reality is that your sense of worth doesn’t come from external sources like friends or social approval. It comes from within. When you are comfortable being alone, you begin to realize that your value isn't tied to the people around you—it's inherent, simply because you exist. The world is full of distractions, but being alone helps you reconnect with your soul and nurture your personal growth.
The Pressure of Friendships
Friendships can be beautiful, but they can also be challenging and exhausting. Sometimes, the pressure to be liked, understood, or to fit into a certain group can make you lose sight of who you really are. We might find ourselves pretending to be someone we’re not, just to keep up appearances or to avoid feeling isolated. But what happens when we step back from these pressures?By stepping away from the idea of needing friends to feel validated, you free yourself from those societal expectations. When you’re not trying to be “part of the group,” you get to live authentically. It’s okay if you don’t fit in with everyone (like me) or if you don’t have a best friend by your side every moment. What matters is that you are true to yourself and your journey.
Learning from Loneliness
It’s easy to assume loneliness is something to be avoided at all costs. But, in truth, loneliness can be a teacher. It allows you to explore your thoughts, confront your feelings, and learn to enjoy your OWN company. Some of the most successful and fulfilled people in history spent long periods alone, focused on their work, their craft, or their passion They used their solitude to build their dreams.embracing loneliness doesn’t mean you’re isolated from the world; it means you’re connecting with yourself. It’s a time for self-discovery and reflection. By spending time alone, you learn more about your own strengths, weaknesses, and desires. This self-awareness makes it easier to make thoughtful decisions about who you want to bring into your life, and it helps you set boundaries that allow you to protect your peace.
STORY TIIIIME !
In middle school, I didn’t have many friends. I was often alone, walking the halls between classes, and watching groups of people laughing and talking with one another. I wanted to be part of those groups, to feel included, but something always held me back. Maybe I wasn’t “cool” enough, or maybe I was just different from the others. Regardless, I felt like I was on the outside looking in. But the more I tried to fit in, the more I realized that maybe I didn’t belong there.(I used to fake reading a book or smthng when friends group pass by 🙋🏻♀️)In high school, things shifted. I realized I didn’t need friends to feel fulfilled. Sure, it was tough at first, feeling like I was walking alone. But in that space of solitude, I started focusing on my goals. I began waking up early to study, I started practicing my hobbies, and I even began learning new things like language. I found peace in my own company, and I realized that I could be my own source of support, encouragement, and joy. Now, I’m in a place where I am comfortable with myself. I don’t need constant validation from others to feel like I matter. I know who I am, and I’m proud of the person I’m becoming. And yes, I still wish sometimes that I had a group of friends to share moments with, but I no longer feel the pressure to have that in my life.I’ve learned that solitude is not a curse—it’s a gift (as I said in the title). It’s a space for me to grow, reflect, and build a future I’m excited about. I’m no longer afraid of being alone because I’ve learned to love the time I spend with myself.
The next time you feel like you're missing something or not enough, just pause and remember: the person who's been with you through it all is YOU. You don’t need a crowd to validate your worth because you’ve got your own back. And when those tough moments hit, look yourself in the eye, smile, and say, “You’ve got this.” Being on your own isn’t a problem—it’s a chance to become the best version of yourself xoxo !

As a fan of ghosts bbc who has never watched the American version but has heard that’s it’s not nearly as good, here’s my ideal list of characters. Because really, American history is so bonkers, how do you not make it incredibly entertaining? Just the premises of the time era/
Character 1: Native American, 1200’s/BEFORE Christopher Columbus
I don’t know what area of America the reboot takes place, but in my ideal version, it’s in upstate New York for reasons I’ll elaborate on later. Bc of that, the character is form the Iroquois Confederacy- I think maybe part of the Oneida tribe? (Also for reasons I’ll explain later). Either way, they’re not quite like Robin as they’re not the “appear stupid but smart” type of character, a bit more like Humphrey I think.
Character 2: a Viking
I just think it’d be neat. I don’t know nearly as much about the Vikings as other characters, but that way we’d get a bit of variety. Maybe a bit more like Robin, but mainly a side character that appears every once in a while, like how Humphrey does.
Character 3: pilgrim/puritan
Ideally mid-1600s, so before revolutionary war but at height of witch burning frenzy. Could be similar to Mary, but I’m thinking more so in uptight, rule-following in the beginning, but secretly far more adventurous than most (more similar to Fanny maybe).
Character 4: utopia member
I’m not a huge fan of the revolutionary era, I’m afraid, so no revolutionary characters. However, I absolutely adore the antebellum era as a time to study because it was so wild, so a character from that time! We have a relatively normal, nice ghost, except they were part of a utopia cult- bonus points if it’s the Oneida community or the shakers.
Character 5: almost a flapper from the 20’s.
This is our almost-kitty! She’s the younger sister of a flapper, loved music, and had obviously family issues- maybe also communist to deal with Red Scare #1? Would be interesting.
Character 6: man of the house in the 50’s.
This is the alternate version of the Captain. He’s a WW2 vet who came back to the US, died in 53 and is very, very gay. probably a government person who had to go through the lavender scare as well? (The captain’s my favorite I had to make sure they did him respect)
Character 7: Reagan fan
In honor of Julian the Tory, we have a Reaganite as well. NOT like Julian in any other respect simply bc I think that fits better for the next character- mostly a Traditional Family person who appears very kind but can be CRUEL- think your republican aunt. She’s a 45 year old who has some Very Pointed Opinions about trickle-down economics, but still died early into reagan’s reign.
Character 8: stockbroker from 2000’s
This is Julian. He died right before the stock market crash out of humiliation from a sex scandal, of course, while residing in his families’ upstate house. Why, you may ask? Well, because it’s funny.
Anyways, I have no idea if this matches any of the ghosts CBS characters, but I think this would be an ideal American Cast. Feel free to add anything if you disagree/have ideas.

is it fair to call people like this "hack writers" if the only way they find a relationship interesting is when it involves pedophilia, incest, cannibalism or necrophilia?
#context: this was in response to a quote about cannibalism in a romantic context#note: this is purely in a writing perspective.#i find the value in romantic cannibalism because it is a interesting metaphor in general#but maybe look at irl examples of cannibalism and you'll realize that it is WAY more complicated#(ex. families in different cultures eating parts of a dead family member to connect them together; even after death)#(or the written historical accounts of slave-owners cannibalizing their slaves & the subsequent trauma for black people related to it)#cannibalism as a metaphor should never be restrained to only romance or love#do you recognize how interesting it can be to use cannibalism as a metaphor for hate? or for literally anything else?#it can be used as a metaphor for control; power; possession; abuse or destroying someone at their very core#im sure it can be used for both simultaneously but i think its limiting to perceive it as 100% romantic#also it limits the discussions of real life cannibalism; both modern and historical#+ is it really impossible to think of a “forbidden relationship” without these 4 subjects?#but the persons' bio starts w/ them being into winc3st (the one who wrote that) so i dont think they give a shit#(sorry for the fuck-ton of tags. it always bothered me as someone who does writing analysis sometimes & get fixated on culture and history)#[just me yapping]#ok to rb#proships dni#tw pedophila mention#tw incest mention#tw necrophillia#racism tw#tw cannibalism#<- these definitely apply here

How bad do you think John Ashdown Hill is? He seems to have a particular fondness for historical women's promiscuous stories
Oh, I think he's incredibly bad. I think his works are obviously and extremely misogynist unless you have Ricardian goggles welded onto your face. I do not take him seriously as a historian. I do not think he has written anything worth reading. I think he was a renowned Ricardian crank who made incredibly specious and misleading arguments about history.
Come on, am I supposed to take a man who subtitles his biography of Elizabeth Woodville "Edward IV's Chief Mistress and the Pink Queen" and accuses of her being a serial killer seriously as a historian? Or not think there's something incredibly weird about titling a chapter in a biography of Cecily Neville "Through The Menopause"? Should I take seriously a historian who cites a blog with the username [slur]magicspells in a publication? Am I not supposed to see the cognitive dissonance in arguing that Eleanor Talbot and Edward IV were absolutely, positively married and their marriage should be taken just as seriously as Catherine of Valois and Owen Tudor's marriage which by the way totally didn't happen and we need to rename the Tudor Dynasty because they were all secret Beauforts?
It's true Ashdown-Hill tracked Richard III's mitochondrial DNA down into the present and was very active in getting Richard's burial rediscovered. He was also a tenacious, if incredibly biased, researcher and had resources to throw at his pet projects. This is obviously impressive. It's also true that when he presented his genealogical research to the University of Leicester, he did not provide any evidence of his research so they had to redo his research to ensure they were DNA-testing the right people. There's also a blogpost he wrote where he accuses the Church of England of a conspiracy because they won't let him exhume any Plantagenets to DNA test them and basically admits to harassing a worker at Historic England after they refused to let him dig up the heritage-listed Clare Priory in Suffolk in order to locate and DNA test the remains of Lionel, Duke of Clarence. They refused him permission because, by his own admission, he didn't know where in the priory Lionel was buried and excavation would have disturbed countless other burials and there was a good chance they wouldn't even know they had found Lionel's remains if they found them.
Which is incredibly ironic given the demands he and the rest of Looking for Richard team made after Richard III's remains were identified. I don't have the energy or brainpower to get into that unholy mess but I recommend looking up Mike Pitts's blogposts about that. It is very much a case of "one standard for the sainted Richard, who is Special, and the rest are just muck beneath our feet and our quest to clear Richard's name".
#text posts#asks#anon#i'm not even getting into the fact that he seems to spend a significant amount of time in each book he wrote#making incredibly pedantic arguments about how we don't spell x name correctly or we call x the wrong thing and he's discovered the 'truth'#i.e. his argument that woodville should be spelt 'widville' because some contemporaries spelt it that way#(he does not apply the same logic to the alianora/eleanor debate for example)#or his argument that 'tudor' should be referred to in inverted commas because they were secret beaufort bastards#or the princes in the tower weren't princes and the 'in the tower' bit implies they remained in the tower which obviously! didn't happen#ok dude whatever you need to do your weird little flexes about history#i just think it's functionally meaningless. the terms are embedded in the public conscious.#and speaking as someone with an interest in ancient egypt and who has dealt with multiple spellings of the same pharaoh...#there will be no consensus on how we spell certain names because there are often multiple ways of spelling it#which will make it harder for people looking for information to actually find.#not everyone is a hyperfixated teenage girl spending hours typing various spellings of 'twosret' into the jstor search box and hitting ente

okay you know what? I think it's time for me to take advantage of the release of the Percy Jackson series to talk a little about the relationship between the Greek and Roman gods, because I have a feeling that we're going to have a new generation of people who are convinced that the Romans "stole" the gods of the Greeks and... um, I feel the need to talk and analyze this thing with you. Because the matter is much more complicated than you think
Like SERIOUSLY, the pjo fandom and Greco-Roman mythology enthusiasts in general need this chat.
First of all it is important to understand how the Italic populations came into contact with Greek culture, and who the first Romans were.
Southern Italy (Sicily, Calabria, Campania and Puglia) was colonized by the Greeks since the 8th century BC.
Like any colonization, the local population had to adapt to the culture, religion and language of the colonizer (in Italy there are still two dialects coming from ancient Greek. Griko in Puglia, and Grecanico in Calabria). Every part of the territory considered Magna Graecia (Megàle Hellàs) presents archaeological finds relating to the Greek colonies, and with them also temples dedicated to the gods. (So much so that in Sicily, at the beginning of spring the Antesphorie (or antephorie) were celebrated in honor of Demeter and Persephone, for example).
The entire Etruscan pantheon was strongly influenced by the Greek one. The indigenous deities were joined by the Hellenic ones, creating a new religion.
But still: who were the Romans? The legend of the foundation of Rome refers to Romulus and Remus, but from an archaeological point of view the Romans were probably the result of a mixture of Latin, Sabine (plus Samnites and Sabelli*) and Etruscan peoples. The latter influenced the initial Roman Pantheon the most. Just think of the similarities between the Etruscan goddess Menrva/Menerva and the Roman goddess Minerva.
The same applies to Maris and Mars, who among other things share holidays in March (a month dedicated to them moreover).
Unfortunately there is not much information on the Sabine and Latin ethnic group, but it is known for certain that Etruscans had contact with Magna Graecia, and the Greeks in general, so their culture was never unknown to the Romans.
So what does this tell us? That the Italic populations knew the Greek Pantheon, because they had been colonized and/or influenced by the Greeks. The first Romans can't exactly steal something that's already part of their culture.
*Samnites, Sabelli and Sabines were part of the same ethnic group, and although all three groups can generally be called "Sabines", I preferred to specify. At the same time it is not known how involved the Picenes and Irpinians were initially with the birth of Rome, so I have not mentioned them.
#it was a very quick and not very in-depth post#but it's late and I just needed to vent about this#if you want to make a joke about the Romans stealing religion from the Greeks that's completely ok#I do it too!!#but I think it is important to understand what really happened in the early period of Roman history#the Romans didn't wake up one morning thinking “you know what I should really do? steal a random religion”#the historical context is much more complex than what one might commonly think#and I understand that in schools outside italy there is no interest in explaining the phenomena that led to the birth of the Roman religion#but in doing so in my opinion it creates a great confusion that could be avoided#did the Romans assimilate numerous religions throughout their history? absolutely#just look at what happened with the Egyptian and Mithras#it wasn't a question of cultural appropriation but more of “I pray to all the gods that exist so no one can get angry with me”#greek myth#greek mythology#roman myth#roman mythology#roman history#greek history#pjo#pjo series#please learn about the Etruscan gods because they are much cooler than the Greek and Roman versions

2023 reads // twitter thread
Never Been Kissed
adult demi mm romance
a film studies graduate managing his town’s dying drive in theatre is desperate to save it, and tries to convince a reclusive local director to show her lost media film
also his ex crush/best friend is the new social media manger there
#never been kissed#aroaessidhe 2023 reads#ok first i was looking at GR to write my little blurb and it and all the reviews ONLY mention the romance plot none of the old movie subplot#that was the only interesting thing to me but i guess the romance part is more significant#the set up of the romance plot which is all mentioned in the blurb was kinda stupid and unnecessary#like i don’t get the conflict between them at the start. lmao what was the point in the email thing. just to make it immediately awkward?#would the history & suddenly in the same job not do that just as well?#i was fully expecting the other email guy to show up late in the book or something but that was just. never mentioned again#the mc is. pretty infuriating tbh#half the conflict at the start is them not getting a chance to have. conversation because the MC keeps stopping the LI from telling him anyt#thing. either by saying “i don’t want to talk” or just cutting him off with what he assumed he’s gonna say.#even later in the book he keeps cutting him off which still causes problems!!!!!#“he promised we could communicate but was keeping a secret” bitch you never let him tell you anything#alloro people are so annoying. also he’s like an annoying film fan. like not in the misogynistic way but….#+ he’s come out as gay but feels like something isn’t quite right identifies as queer (idk why he can’t use gay….what’s with people thinking#that asexuality and gayness are mutually exclusive identities). like yay for queer also but?? both are true#overall: sure i guess?? i liked the grumpy old lady. everything else i didn’t care about much#uh there’s also a ‘totem pole’ misuse reference somewhere in there

It’s funny how rarely people bat an eye but when someone tries doing the same with ~other cultures~
“Generically medieval” (inoffensive) and “Oriental setting ” (offensive)
There’s something kind of fun about trying to spot what parts of a culture a creator decides to create a weird concoction of
“Generically medieval”, by which we mean our peerage is French, our castles are German, our weapons are Italian, and everybody speaks English.
#it’s why idm Aladdin like people crying about how inaccurate it is but it’s ironically quite accurate to the spirit of how it was told#A Syrian man said in a land far away and meant China#Where the Chinese people have Arabic names and are interacting with Arab folkore#don’t question it bro#not to come of as…too much of a pick me but I find it funny like yes strange American show me what you think my side of the world look like#i have never seen a sari irl before but for some reason all the supposedly Arab women are wearing one#people mostly parrot Edward’s stuff without…giving it much thought#Oh it Bad and Dangerous because Westerners will think ok???#the only interesting thing is that we end up adopting the ideas Westerners have like oh Westerners think we’re uneducated and backwards so#that must be true#i cut off the last comment because it’s part of Westerners and Westernised people being incapabale of imaging Africans in any other setting#where they are not a minority#being incapable of creating a fantasy world inspired by our own cultures histories and heritages#with the millions of excuses that accompany it#ohhhh but merchants -> proceeds oto never actually portray them as a traveller they’re just some immigrant don’t be racist smh

#orels 'thats it?' like hes realising there WAS no real point to this other than pure punishment. like he didnt even really learn anything#i realised this earlier but i love all the stuffed animals in clays study. making up for that missed hunting trip i see#the bit of clay going to hand the gun to orel and then pulling away again to gesture some more is really funny#oh my godddddd theres so much more even bewtween grounded and this. I NEED TO WATCH THR CHRONOLOGICAL CUTTTTTT#the number of times clay references either being a MAN or calls orel a girl in this. i seeeeee#IDK WHAT THE BIRD IS i know the bird is Something. it was in another ep but i forget which#i think it was the prequel ep. maybe. sorry man im not smart enough to figure that out#ok theh cup holder on the rifle is crazy funny#eating the dog is crazyyyy i feel like it cld have gotten the point across w eating the deer butttt#idk i guess it crosses that line to make clay seem even more repulsive here. so it works#but also insane seeing the fucking. DOG in the bg of the argument etc#WHY IS HE EATING THE PAWWWWW LMAOOOO. the worst part ever#eurrghhh the way clay antagonises orel over the food. dud u do not have tp one up ur child. seriously#OOUUUAHHHHHH the way orels glare breaks when clay insults him.... blarrrghhhh#stealing this from a comment but how clay says 'look on the blight side' and 'my life is sunny and blight'#cus like technically he HAS a 'good' life. married w kids and a good job. but he cant get any joy out of it and refuses to see the positive#u know. even if he doesnt love bloberta if he tried they cld still get along. and he has a reallyyy sweet kid who adored him#he cld have used his position to make a positive impact#but he doesnt. he runs and he hides and he pushes everyone away#orel tearing up at hearing clay say he hates himself is sooooooo fucking real man. it hurts#been there one billion million times. so painful#interesting how clay extends his hatred for bloberta to Every Woman Ever.#wonder if he had any relationships before her and how they turned out. badly id imagine#he says that marriage isnt for him but its kinda unclear if thats bc hes had a terrible history w love or hes just not interested#not sure if u cld say it extends to his own mother or not.#i guess u cld say that over the yrs his guilt twisted into hating her in some way. maybe for spoiling him so much#like in relation to his comments abt like. making him feel better and then choking him. and weights around his neck#the first is obvs abt the alcohol and the second bloberta#and also vice versa it kinda goes both ways#but i do wonder if he does still feel guilt abt what happened. hes sshown to be deeply affected by his fathers abuse still so hmmm

#joy i feel like i should’ve known it would be you wrecking my shit by saying this ->#no one tell me what it’s about i want to think about jack as a fixed point forever#like. please. please. why would you. & also why are these like miyazaki/indie coming of age documentary closed captions u know what i mean#anyway in a moment of brief insanity i thought about the devil!nico snapping his fingers to make jack first overall wherever he wanted#and the concept of things that would always have happened it’s just a matter of how you get there#no matter where your eye starts it always ends there no matter where your threads weave in the web of fate all the knots end up tied. fixed#(nolan going to vegas) it’s just the path you took to get there was a little different is all.#hi. it's me. five+ hours later. remember the brief aforementioned moment of insanity#yeah so we lost it in a completely different directions sorry?#if i had a nickel for every time i entered a hughes brothers induced narrative webweaving fugue state i'd have two nickels#which isn't a lot but relative to the amount i think about them kinda is and also it's weird it happened twice#also i'm not apologizing for hearing “art kid” with fixed point (one perspective? my googling of art terminology did not yield results.#luke baby girl i think you've got the wrong term.) and immediately jumping to science (math and ecosystem management) because. that's art#luke hughes#jack hughes#quinn hughes#vancouver canucks#new jersey devils#my cat would very much like for me to go to bed and snuggle however. i was possessed. (AND i just learned how to do small text)#so now all of you get to have worms for brain at 12:30AM too ok ily good night!!!!!#i lied actually i need to tell you guys things because number one EYE have no idea where this came from number two the things i do know#i have no idea if the red string meme it's all coming together points make any sense to anyone but me. SO FIRST#function defined by itself (43 superscript added by me) it's luke defining fixed point. he's cited.#perspective used to stage narratives!!! the history of perspective in art is honestly so interesting and i think actually this started#because i was trying to find a definition for fixed point in art and couldn't get one but found the article talking about#how historically perspective is used for geometric and architecture in paintings to add reality i.e. vermeer's squares#because our brains are SO hardwired to believe perspective “the illusion of geometric regularity and spatial recession... is nearly impossi#liv in the replies#said more but tumblr ate it bc it was too many tags & now we're on hour six i am not rewriting just know it was good. past/present/future l#it was not well articulated & i wanted to do perspective lines & also it could be better collaged but if it looks bad.. that's a u problem.

bro fr #1 coping mechanism watching social experiments of suicide where passerbys stop and talk with the actor 💯💯💦🤟🤟🤟
#text#vent#i added the emojis to make it funny#anyway i rewatched the same social experiment for like the 100th time to feel better whats good#i always wonder how the people who direct these make the actors cry. do they pick a person with a history of self harm and stuff#or do they just pull the guy aside like ok listen i want you get up on the handrail and think about hachiko the whole time ok?#cause the latter would be very funny#and i love how in the one i watch the actor gets up and gets down multiple times and heaves big sighs and stuff to make it look like he's#scared to do this but in reality he just quickly psychoanalyzes the passerbies and decides that they won't save him so he tries not to#accidentally hurl himself off the handrail lmaooo#very interesting i wonder what its like to be the actor in any social experiment honestly i'd love to try in some alternate reality#anyway.
