twitter’s in shaky hands with mr elongated muskrat, instagram crashes all the time, facebook is overrun with cringey moms and has been otherwise abandoned, tiktok is seemingly always at risk of getting banned in various places, and now everyone’s boycotting reddit…

meanwhile, tumblr has just been quietly vibing in the background since 2007. fuck knows who keeps this thing running, and the features are shit, but it’s steady and it works. and everyone on here just minds their own damn business. or more accurately, keeps to their own bubble of weirdness.
