Well I did another diagram because they make me happy.
This one is based largely off the characters these actors tend to play, and that's gonna be my general criteria for any more that I make. I can go into more detail about why I picked what I picked, but that would make this post long and boring :)

I'm writing about the 1925 Phantom of the Opera as part of my next blog post. While rewatching the unmasking scene, something hit me-- why exactly does Christine take off the mask in this version?
Her expressions suggest a weird-- playfulness? Like she thinks this will be a game, good for a laugh.

Like Christine, he dropped a chandelier on the opera audience when the management didn't do what he wanted. I don't think he's gonna appreciate mischief about that mask he told you not to touch.
I don't know-- does anyone else have any ideas?

I wish to God that the original ending of Phantom of the Opera 1925 could be viewed. I hope someone finds the film reels in a warehouse or a box or a drawer or something, because I DESPERATELY want to see it. If they managed to restore it it would officially be the most book accurate adaptation of Phantom (I think it might be anyways but just. Extra points)

Photo from the set of 1925's Phantom of the Opera staring Lon Chaney. It is believed this production still depicts the first ever "dab", a move later popularized by stars from Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford to legendary artist Skippa Da Flippa.

This is the sixth of my parodies of the Norman Rockwell classic that I trot out every November. This was done “pre-AI”.

I am so mad I only just found out about this and it’s this Friday! 😫
Anyone near Jersey I know? Or that would like to know me? 😅 Like it’s totally sold out. But it’s also a free staged reading, so maybe people have to RSVP but then some of them never show. Y’know.😅
So, I’m wondering a lot about this now👀
Also there’s Deaf actors in it! With songs that were written for Deaf actors! Seriously go check out the website—there’s videos and gorgeous photos.
