yua has alwasy been followed through life wiht some misfortune and while she blames thsi all on some unseen forces (i dotn think blame is the right word. tehres a point in her past where this became less of 'ugh the universe msut hate me lol' and mroe of a psychosis thing) logicaly she knows that msot of the misfortune in her life is a deliberate sabotage on her end. changw is scary to her becasue its unpredictable and she likes her life nwo as its a mroe... manageable misery. shws been like this since middle school and shell neber change <3

other thanthe multiple marginalizations adn whatever. shes a veeeery nosy person (thsi is because she likes to have cotnrol and account for all variables) adn if she pokes and prods at soemthign adn she doesnt like it she will do whatever she can to like. not steer but at least nudge..direct...things back to her cotnrol again. she doesnt even really do thsi on purpose she is just constantly thinking about 7 different ways thigns can go wrong and hwo she could fix all those ways back to normal too. her friends dotn really trust her with too msny secrets or anything as a result whicj leaves her feeling kind of frozen out of the group sometimes :(

i dotn think its necessarily a loss of time. i mean yua ususlly just sits by herself adn pours over every memory she can dredge up over adn over again...but all thsoe recalls rewrite a lot in her head sicne she likes to imagine all possibilities that coudlve come out of that stuff. so more of a misremembering of time whcij is a loss in its own way... as for wishing waht she could lose i think itd be like. her inability to believe anyone esle is as competent as her at running shti. she likes to have control adn know all the pieces moving becuase she needs to lead shit itno coming out ok but shes aslo very tired so being abel to just drop her guard adn put her faith itno someone else to lead her into somewehre better (physcially? mentally? idk) would be a huge relief off her shuolders. its not fun!

just wanna say i love how the ow fandom has been growing lately. it feels like pretty much every week since ive joined a new handful of blogs pop up and start liking carrots posts and posting fanart and stuff and it just :3 :3 :3 makes me giddy because im obsessed with ow (if you couldnt tell) and seeing more content for it and more people enjoy it as well is like the best thing ever. tho i am glad that its happening gradually and not as like a big BOOM in popularity cus like. not that i would mind our wonderland getting more popular... okay maybe i would. but what i mean is as much as i would love for more people to play ow it would also inevitably cause drama which is the last thing any of us want i think. even the arcadekitten fandom (which is bigger than ow but still quite small in the grand scheme of things) has some weird stuff going on. albeit its very minor stuff and is pretty easy to ignore but the fact that even such small fandoms can start having drama is worrying. ngl sometimes i get frustrated with the fact that i always end up obsessing over the most obscure stuff when theres so much media with big and active fandoms waiting for me right there. and even when i DO like popular stuff (like tadc for example) it never becomes my "main interest" and im just. normal about it. though perhaps its actually a blessing in disguise because like i just mentioned bigger fandoms = higher chance of drama.

Ooh I think that sounds like a great idea though! I mean it's practical and it keeps you active, right? Although a bike on some of those cobbled streets might be a bit of interesting ride, and yeah, bike lanes are kind of terrifying. I'm sure you'd get used to it though! I’ve had a few crushes here and there, but I’ve never had a long term relationship that could turn into love. My guilty pleasure is absolutely Starbucks seasonal beverages. And also those incredibly cute travel cups. I have too many of them. The last time I laughed was about two minutes ago when I got your joke :) 

I also like staying active, though I’m absolutely horrid at dancing, so it’s walking or hiking or the gym for me. I also like to swim. I’ve been thinking about getting a bike, though I’m all in a tizzy about bike lanes and what not.

Tips for Tumblr? Let me see...

Well, first of all always save your drafts away from Tumblr. You can have them saved on Word or use Google Drive for saving your documents, but do not trust Tumblr drafts to keep your work and do not write directly on Tumblr post editor to avoid losing your time and effort if the site updates all of a sudden! 

For editing and gifing, take note of the size limits for Tumblr images. Some images and gifs can be rejected if not inside these limits and the editor won’t always say what’s the real problem haha.

About mobile and web apps, take note that their codification is different which means, posts edited in Mobile sometimes won’t be possibly editable on the web and vice versa. So, choose your favorite version and stick to it (I love the web, more features available, fewer errors...)

Over anything, ignore the haters. They’re not numerous in our fandom and the few who exist are nothing but attention whores: ignore them, they’ll search for attention somewhere else XD

ok so this is my review of fear street part one: 1994 and yes i know i am not a movie critic this is not going to be a good or accurate review i am just going off of how felt while watching it

spoilers ahead :D

first of all, thing that stood out most to me? the fucking relationships

whether they were platonic or romantic, what the fuck was going on there

deena and sam? WHAT THE FUCK

like how the fuck did they work that out?? i dont even entirely understand why they broke up in the first place?? i know like deena broke up with sam because sam was moving to other stupidly named town but HUH???? like half of it i got and half of it i didnt

like deena had said sam was being someone she wasnt which i would maybe understand if it was jsut about the fact that sam was afraid to come out as a lesbian (or bi??? i know she was dating peter but... thats fucking peter?????) but like...... WHAT. she said it like it was jsut another part of the reason she was being someone she wasnt

and then there were like hundred emotional speeches to each other and the only time i ever fucking got on my phone during the movie was during those, they were so fucking boring because they happened so often (i am including the other speeches that happened in the movie but lots of them were from deena and sam)

and fucking kate and josh??? i thought josh was a fucking freshman while kate was a senior and i still dont know their ages so you can see why i hated that relationship : D

it came out of fucking no where too like i thought it was jsut gonna be a fucking crush from josh but then kate started acting like she reciprocated the feelings??? it came out of the fucking left field

AND THAT TIME SHE INVITED HIM INTO THE BATHROOM STALL WHILE SHE WAS IN HER FUCKING UNDERGARMENTS TO "MAKE SURE" SHE GOT ALL THE BLOOD OFF HER

its a horror movie right? there wasnt much horror

no jumpscares or shit, just suspense and gore

like it had me sitting on the edge of my seat at some moments and then like nothing came out of it???? i thought like "oh shit somethings about to happen" and then something would happened but it wouldnt surprise me

at the hospital when sam and deena were hiding behind the front desk? knew for a fucking fact the secretary was dead

the drug dealer doctor guy? soon as he came into the screen i knew he was a fucking goner

like with those moments you can usually tell that that was whats gonna happen but in these moments it was like "oh that guys definitely gonna die/be dead" instead of "HOLY SHIT THAT GUY IS SO DEAD" yknow???

the only thing that even slightly scared me was the fucking gore, that shit was well done

like not the best but there was enough of it that it slightly makes up for the lack of jumpscares and complete tension because you get jumpscared by the fact someone was just stabbed in the throat yknow?

i think the only really scary part was the very beginning

and the only time i was actually very surprised was when kate and simon died, and that was not a good surprised

it legitimately came out of fucking no where

cut to kate and her head is being stuffed into a bread cutter (another one of thsoe really fucking gory parts btw)

cut to simon and josh trying to run from those that are chasing them and they take one look at each other and suddenly theres an axe in simons head like what the fuck????

like fucking NOTHING came out of them dying

all that happens is that they get blamed in the end for all the fucking murders that night

ill be honest, i was ready to be so fucking pissed if josh died LMAO

like i was expecting only deena and sam to make it out of there because of the fact both kate and simon died within like ten minutes of each other and thought josh was about to go too

now with all of that being said, i would say it was a good movie

like maybe something i would go rewatch kjajas

the actual storyline wasnt too bad and left me wondering what was gonna happen and how they would escape

as i said before, i only ever got on my phone during the emotional speeches, which is rare for me

with lots of movies, ill be on my phone for most of it just listening to what was happening

somehow a horror movie was able to keep my attention for 95% of it without practically any good jumpscares or shit and bad romance

i am actually very excited to see the other two parts

so uh yeah

that is my review of fear street part one: 1994

Fandoms: I have ADHD mostly I just get pulled in by something, write a single fic, then move on, lmao. Mostly I just need my Queer Reinterpretation out there. Les Mis and Harry Potter are the only semi-consistent ones, I suppose. And... as much as I don’t think it matters morally, events of the last few years has made me lose some motivation in terms of the several Harry Potter fics I had in the works.

Most popular multi-chapter: Les Mis e/R longfic On the Path to Elysium. I mostly write oneshots, so frankly this one didn’t have much competition.

Favourite story I’ve written so far: Honestly, I think it’s still the Elementary trans!Sherlock fic I wrote a few years back, Stealth Son. I really enjoy rereading that one. Elysium is obviously my darling, but I’ll need to actually finish that first :P

Fic you were nervous to post: I have a couple of fics that talk about really serious, real world issues and I always worry about fucking something up in writing those. These are One step forward and two steps back (past rape, Gravitation), Classic Max (HIV, Happy Endings), In Other Circumstances (Nazism, Joyeux Noël) and But we bear their iniquities (historical racism, Les Mis). No-one has cancelled me yet, so I suppose I did ok. 

How do you choose your titles: With great difficulty. I haaaate coming up with titles... I have three types of them: Super pretentious, just a single straightfoward word or lyrics/a quote related to either the franchise or the themes.

Do you outline: For multi-chapter fics, yes, but again, I mostly write oneshots, and for those, usually not. The outlines I do do in any case are usually rather loose. 

Complete: Hmm, depends on your definition of “complete,” I suppose... The Dream is a complete one-shot but it’s also part of a series of Gay!Shepard ficlets that isn’t, well, complete, although it’s more meant as a series of fics that are just about the same Shepard rather than like... an outright series. The last unconnected thing I completed is Seduction, a humor ficlet based on an obscure Swedish gay movies lmao 

In progress: On the Path to Elysium. Still posting consistently a year and a half into it! your name is what my heart screams is also a wip but it’s the sort of thing I let lie dormant for ages because it’s just self-indulgent nonsense and I don’t really give that much of a shit lmao

Coming soon/not yet started: I have some notes for a Zukka Canon Divergent AU of ATLA which make me go 👀 but I doubt I’ll get to that for a long while yet. I have snippets of some more Gay!Shepard Mass Effect ficlets but we’ll see when they actually happen lol. Again, I also have several HP fics that are lying dormant in my fanfic folder, but.... yeah, someday it’s going to come crashing back hard, given my relationship with the series, but it’s not something I’m working on rn.

Oh right, yesterday I found some dude’s folder with a lot of very important documents. So like first file had a number and gmail. Tried calling - nothing, wrote an email - nothing. So today I decided to actually go trough documents and try to find another contact or smth like that and found another number, so I tried calling - he fucking declined lmfao. So I wrote an sms asking if it’s him and that I found his document and come pick them up lol. So he called me and asked when he can come pick them up, etc. he came and gave me like some roses and a box of thsoe raffaello candies lol
