Loki looked up, he was just finishing polishing one of his daggers "Whatever do you mean? You look fine, you’ve worn this top before and it was ok"

You sighed "It just…I don’t feel comfortable, it doesn’t look ok…I want to look more masc today and I feel like it’s not helping and I don’t know”

Loki stood up and approached you, he lifted your chin and made you look him in the eye "Tell me what do you see when you look in the mirror?"

You swallowed and avoided his intense gaze "Some days I just look wrong…I wish i could be like you where I can just shift into what I feel like that day…some days it seems impossible and that there’s something wrong with me"

Loki’s eyes softened at hearing the words being uttered from your mouth "I am have been more fortunate than others but that doesn’t mean theirs something wrong with you, I’m not saying you can not feel uncomfortable in your own skin but I do know that I will not let you loathe yourself in discomfort and uncertainty"

You sighed and warped your arms around his waist and laid your head on his chest, breathing in his scent "You might get sick of it…like everyone else did"

Loki hugged you back and rested his chin on your head "You keep forgetting that I am not like everyday else, I am a god and you my little dove will be protected by this god, no one will harm you even yourself when I’m around"

Your heart fluttered with joy "You sure know how to make me feel special don’t you?"

"Oh but you are special because to me, those curious eyes of yours hold the universe and much more"

"Are you flirting with me?" Your crossed your arms with a fake frown.

"And is that so evil of me to do?" He chuckled before pulling you back into his arms and pampering your face with kisses.

You squirmed till you laughed.

Welp it's been many months and my fandom hyperfixations that tumblr needs to know about are back

What if I said 🤨 I was kinda making a fic 🤨🤨 and only the first chapter has been up for weeks but I'm back in the feels again and instead of writing I'm gonna make a soundtrack to my fic and talk about them all 🤨🤨🤨

The fic is an oc (kinda a reader-) x howard stark and both Loki??? Reader* is asgardian and grows up on asgard, until they get into trouble with Loki and cover for him, leading to them getting exiled. Inspired by "where mischief lies". Then about a hundreds years later they meet steve and bucky, and then howard taking the place of maria. It follows the fanon plot of the normal mcu with a few tweaks to add in my oc lore and for it to be a fix it no one dies fic. Throughout the series secrets, prophesies and relationships will be uncovered and put through the rest. Will they all survive?

I'm bad at summaries but the fic is And It All Leads Back To You on wattpad. Ironically enough only the prologue chapter is up but who cares. Many queer headcanons and reader/oc may or may not be explicitly bi or nonbinary but will not be straight and will use they/them. They will be afab but that won't be an important detail until they become tonys mother

*it's an oc, again kinda, because they take the place of freya in norse mythology and im take the russo brothers route by being minimally lore accurate but I did find many norse myth info to put in here. When they're exiled to earth, they gotta go by a different identity and that's when it'll be y/n, until they can go back to being freya

Y/N'S POV

The Avengers found their way to time travel, to get back the stones from different points of time so that Thanos wouldn't get to them first.

You suited up. You were going with Thor. Well, more like Bruce and Tony made you go with him, to babaysit him. You two nver spoken with each other yet, Thor avoided you like the plague. You couldn't blame him, you were his brother significant other. At least you had Rocket to talk with.

"Take care, Y/N." Natasha said.

Something tells you that this is the last time you'll ever talk to her again.

"Nat?" You whispered. She looked at you. You had tears in your eyes. You hugged her as tightly as you can. "Thank you for everything you do, be careful out there, make sure you come back okay? Love you, Nat." You choke back a sob. "Love you too, Y/N" She said hugging you back.

"See you in a minute?" You said. You knew.

"See you in a minute." She smiled at you. You smiled back.

You stood at the platform, between Thor and Rocket. Natasha shot you a playful wink, to which you giggled. "See you and the other side." You said. The time heist has begun.

ASGARD, 2013.

The three of you landed somewhere around the palace. You and Rocket were following Thor since he's the one to know more about the layout of the palace. You were sneaking around the dungeons and that's where you saw him. Loki. Your breath hitched, Rocket noticed that you weren't moving, "Hey, Y/N. You okay there?" he whispered. " You guys have to go on without me, well, the real me.' You said as you were focusing half of your energy to make an image of "you". ( A/N : Kinda like what Ōdanna did in Kakuriyo)

"What do you mean by that?" He asked you. "I made an image of me, they will finish the task alongside you" You said. "They will only last for awhile. until the job is done. I'll find you when it's done." You said. "How does it work-" "There's no time. Just go." You said as you moved. Rocket walked away.

You turned to see Loki throwing stuff in the air. "Hey." You said. Loki looked at you with wide eyes. His eyes wandered all over your face.

“You’re not my Y/N.”

You smiled, he was always so observant. You didn’t say anything, just smiling at him with teary eyes. You look different. That’s the thing Loki notices when he sees you. Maybe different isn’t the right word.  Burned out would be better, he supposes. Because he notices the bags under your eyes, or the way your body was skinner. There’s slight wrinkles in your skin that he hadn’t seen before and the smile on your lips seemed sad. Your eyes are dull, your skin was paler too, and all he can say is that you look so tired.

Taking a step, Loki clasps his hands behind his back until he’s directly before the barrier that keeps the both of you apart. He took a proper look at you, your looked as beautiful as ever. And you just stare back at him, with the a smile that said that you missed him so. “You look tired,” he says softly.

You finally speak and when you do, it’s with a raspier voice. “No shit, sherlock,” you said, causing Loki to blink. The sight of you, the way you look now, only breaks Loki’s heart. This you, he thought. "They looked as if they've lost something so important. What happened to you that made you look and sound like this. You look so sad. It’s never an expression Loki’s wanted to see on you. not ever.

“I always tell you to take care of yourself.”

His words, brings the softest of chuckles to your lips. Loki isn’t oblivious to the way it’s almost forced, he frowned.

“Well,” you begin, voice somewhat sore. “You know that I'm very stubborn.” Loki smiles at your comment and you smiled at him. Then, as the smiles fade, Loki’s shoulders fall. “What happened to you ,my dear?” And it’s almost like the words themselves are enough to make you cry. Loki watches as you swallow thickly, shoulders tensing as your eyes avoid him. “I-” you start, only pausing a moment. “Loki, I-.” And his name leaves your lips like it hasn’t in years and it brings about this tight feeling in his chest. Loki gaze softened looking at you.

You stepped closer, hand pressing against the barrier. His eyes widened and his mouth opened to protest, but you kept pushing on it. "What are you doing? Stop it." He said, he was afraid that you were gonna hurt yourself. "It's alright, Loki." You said, focusing your power to your hand. You phased through.

You tumbled inside, Loki caught you. You were exhausted, but had to keep going for the sake of the mission. "You can do that?" He said. "I've been training all this time." You said, breathing heavily. He laid you on the bed he had.

He noticed something shiny on your finger, he took your hand. His eyes widened, "You have it?" He said to you.

You smiled. "Yeah." You said. "Thank you for giving me this." You said. "Did you like the proposal?" He asked. Loki saw your expression change. "What's wrong?" He asked. You looked at him, as if telling him what he need to know. A look of realization was on his face, now he understand why you looked at him the way you did. He hugged you. "I'm so sorry." He said.

"It's been 5 years." You said, tearing up. "I'm sorry." He said again. You looked at him, "If anyone's sorry, it should be me." You said. "Loki-" "If you're going me to tell how I died, I don't want to hear it." He said. "But Loki-" You said."No. Love, I don't want to know." He said. You sighed. "Look, You know that I love you, darling. But please, don't be rash. You know time is sensitive." he said. "I know, It's just I want be selfish this once. I want you to live a happy life, to make up for all the bullshit you've been through." You said, quietly. "Y/N, My time with you makes up for everything. I know that we lived happy life together. And that's enough for me." He said, wiping the tears from your cheek.

"I love you, Loki." you said. He smiled and kissed your forehead.

"Y/N, Can you hear me? We got the stone." You heard Rocket say into the comms.

"Alright, I'll be there." you said. You looked at Loki, He nodded. "Go save the world, my love." He said, kissing you. You kissed him back, tears falling. "I wish we had more time." You said. He smiled sadly. "Wait. Here's something for you." He conjured up a necklace with a ring identical to yours. "It was supposed to be mine. I want you to have it" He said to you. "Are you sure?" You said. He nodded. You kissed him. You pressed your hand against the barrier  and phased through. You turned and waved at him. He waved back.

As you ran to the meeting point, you heard something in your head.

"I'm so proud of you for staying strong, I'll always love you, my dear." you heard him say.

You smiled, tears flowing freely.

Time to save the world. For him.

Stage Three: Bargaining

It has been two and a half years after the ambush. Loki’s death is starting to take toll on Y/N. They had a routine, waking up, shower, training, shower again, back to the room, cry themselves to sleep. They never took off the ring, only when they had to shower. 

They were in Natasha's office. The two friends were drinking their sorrows away, much to Steve's dislike of seeing them drunk. "Do you think that if I was there, would he still be here, Nat?" They asked. "Y/N, there's nothing you could've done." Natasha said. "If only I had checked up on him, maybe I could've saved him." Natasha tried to change the topic to conversation.

“Hey, are you wearing a ring? It looks new.” Natasha asked them. Y/N looked at it with a sad smile. “It was from Loki.” They said, now looking at Natasha. “May I see it?” Natasha said, hesitantly. Y/N took it off and placed it on Natasha’s palm. The ring glistened under the dim light of the room.

“It’s really pretty.” She said. “It’s minimalistic and not too fancy, it suits you.” She continued. Y/N smiled. “He knows that I wasn’t a complicated person” Y/N said. “How did you guys meet?” Natasha asked. “We met before his rampage on earth. I was working at multiple jobs then-”

*Flashback*

Y/N’s POV

You were working at this small tea shop at the outskirts of New York. It was a lonely little town, where everyone knew everyone. It was a slow morning, the shop was less busy today. You and your colleague, Eka were the only ones working the morning shift on that day.

“Hey, Y/N. Do you like anyone?” Eka asked you suddenly. “No, why?” You said. “Oh, come on, there has to be someone, right? Like that guy that lives down the block, what’s his name? Ashton? Or maybe that hot girl, Mitsuki? You know that I don’t judge, right? Or that person at the library, Alan, they are pretty ho-” He rambled on. “Eka, you know i love you right? But in the name of God can you stop talking about my love life?” You groaned. Eka puts his hands up in mock surrender. “Okay, okay. But you’re not getting younger any day now” He teased. You threw a cloth at him. “Ow, okay. That hurts” He playfully pouted. 

The bell rang. You looked at the door. There he was. A very attractive guy with raven black hair and the most beautiful eyes you’ve ever seen. But there was something different about him. Eka look at you, smirking. He lightly pushed you to the counter, and went into the back storage, leaving you with the handsome stranger. You mentally noted that you will get back at him for this. You looked up at the stranger.

“Welcome to Teascape, how may I help you today?” You asked him. “Holy shit, he’s really hot." You thought. “Yes, I would like the mint tea with lemon, please” he said. "Sure. May I have your name so I could call it out when your order is done?" You said. "My name is Loki. " Loki said. You smiled. "That's the name of one of the Norse Gods, right? " You said.

His eyes widened. "You know Norse mythology?" He said. "Well, I spend my time reading about them at the library around the corner. I'm quite fascinated by it." You blushed slightly. "Uhm, may I know your name? " He asked you. "I'm Y/N." You said. "What an adorable name, Y/N." He said quietly.

"Well here's your tea. Have a nice day, Loki! " You said smiling. Loki's ears turned light pink. He really liked the way his name rolled off your tongue. "Thank you, Y/N" He said with a small smile. He turned around and left. Eka came out from the back. “Did you get the cutie’s number?” He asked. You mentally cursed at yourself. “I didn’t.” You said. Eka sighed.

*Timeskip*

After you finished your shift at the shop, you changed from your apron and rushed to the library for your next shift. You clocked in and sat at the counter. There was no one there today except you. You walked to Mythology section and one of the books caught your eye,”The Gospel Of Loki” . Your mind led you to the guy earlier. You never seen him around the town before, maybe he’s a newcomer? 

You were so immersed in reading, you didn’t notice that someone came in. “Excuse me?” It was Loki. “Y/N?” He said. Your head shot up, “Loki?” you said. “You work here?” He asked. “Well, yeah. I have multiple jobs around the town.” You said, embarrassed. “So what brings you here?” You asked. “I was on my to New York.” He said. “I meant what brought you to the library, but I knew that you weren’t from around here. I know almost everybody in this town.” You said. “Well, I’m particularly fond for reading. I like to go to libraries.” He said.

“Me too, that’s why I work here.” You said. “What were you reading before I interrupted?” He said looking at the book. “The Gospel of Loki.” You said. His eyes glistened with curiosity. “May I read with you?” He asked, hesitant. “I can’t see why not, people don’t come here often anyways. Come here.” You said. He sat next to you.

“Loki, that’s me. Loki, the Light-Bringer, the misunderstood, the handsome and modest hero of this particular tissue of lies. The difference between a god and a demon is really only a matter of perspective.”

“Wow.” You said, breaking the silence. Loki looked at you with confusion. “What is it?” He said. “That was a good one. That particular part.” You said, with a soft smile. “May I ask why?” Loki asked.”You know, in all the things I’ve read about you, Loki. This is the one I agree on. It’s the truth, isn’t it?” You said. You knew who he was. Ever since he walked in the shop, his energy was different. It wasn’t like an average human’s. You put the pieces together.

“You knew?” He said to you. You nodded. “Ever since I saw you.” You nodded. “But how?”  Loki said. “Let’s just say, that I’m no average human too.” You said. Your eyes glowed. He looked at you in awe. “What are you?” He asked. “I’m still a human, with abilities.” You shrugged. “ So, what you doing on Earth?” You said to him. “I can’t tell you.” He said. “It’s okay, you don’t have to tell.” You looked at him.

You two sat and chatted with each other the whole evening. When you were closing up, you said to him. “You know, Loki, maybe you’re not as bad as they say you were.” You smiled at him.

He blushed and smiled back.

You two started see each other more after that.

*End of Flashback*

Back to 3rd Person

“That was it, it was kinda a clichè. Our first meeting.” Y/N said. Natasha nodded. Y/N poured themselves another drink. Natasha gave them their ring back. With a bittersweet smile, Y/N drank. A couple bottles in, Y/N was a mess.

“It should’ve been me.” Y/N said, suddenly standing to their feet, nearly toppling over. “It was supposed to be me, not him! He didn’t deserve this, he… he was supposed to be here, alive and well" They said, their voice got louder as they spoke. "He wanted to start a family, to finally live a normal life, without all those bastards chasing after him!" They sobbed. "He was never a bad guy, Nat. He was misunderstood all these years." Y/N told her. Natasha held them in her arms, stroking their back in attempts to sooth them.

Y/N balled their hands into a fist and their knuckle turned white. "I want him here, Nat. I would sell my soul for a bit more time." Y/N cried."Should I ask Strange for help?" They whispered, as Nat turned to her, frowning. "I shouldn’t have stayed here. I should've went with him” they said as Nat shook her head, turning towards them and taking their face in her hands. "Y/N, You didn't know about this. It's not your fault." Natasha said sternly.

“I just-“ Y/N said before closing their eyes, feeling more tears come out. Nat pulled them close. "I don't think I can do this Nat" They said. “It’s okay. It’s going to be okay.” Natasha said, holding them closer.

But it never will.

“Alright, so what’s our plan?” The blonde woman said.

After the moment in their room, Thor came by and knocked on their door to inform Y/N that there was a group meeting on the discussion room. Everyone was waiting for them. And Y/N saw someone they didn't recognize.  “Hello there, do I know you?" They asked. "I'm Captain Marvel also known as Carol Danvers, you can call me Carol. And you are?" The woman spoke.

"I'm Y/N L/N. also known as (hero name)" They said. "Okay. Since everyone’s here, we can discuss the plan." Steve said.

“Hey, Y/N?” Natasha said beside them. Y/N hummed as an answer. “Will you okay?” She asked. Y/N looked at her, their eyes shone with determination. “I will be. Now let’s get this fucker.”

*timeskip*

The spacecraft was floating at the outer atmosphere of Planet 0259-S also known as the Garden. They were told that Thanos was on the planet.

Y/N put on their suit, they were ready to take revenge.

As they were ambushing Thanos, Y/N felt like that something wasn’t right. The others held Thanos still, while Thor chopped his hand off. Rocket flipped the disembodied hand, to find that the stones weren’t there. Steve started to question him. Y/N was glaring at the purple titan, who was looking at them with amusement. “Why, don’t you look familiar?” He said to Y/N. “Answer the goddamn question. Where are the stones?” Y/N questioned. Natasha placed a hand on their shoulder, to calm them. 

Apparently, the stones weren't there. Thanos were telling them how he used it to destroy itself. Y/N was filled with rage, "You selfish son of a bitch. Do you know what you've done?" Y/N said, as they conjured up a spear. "You killed him, and many innocent lives. They didn't deserve this" They said. "Oh, I remember you. You’re the whore to the traitor." Carol tightened her grip on his neck. “Watch your mouth.” She said. “He was a lying snake-” Thanos was interrupted by Y/N stabbing him with the spear. He groaned in pain. Y/N twisted the spear, "Do you feel the pain? Good, that means you'll stay awake for what's coming next."

“There’s nothing left to do. The work is done. It always will be, I am inevitable." He said. His eyes were glaring into theirs. Y/N twisted the blade even harder. "Then I will be the one to stop you." Y/N sneered at him.

"H-He has to be lying. Let's search around." Rhodes said, looking for any signs for the stones. "My father is many things, but liar is not one of them. ." Nebula said. "Thank you daughter, perhaps I treated you too harshly" Y/N applied even more pressure. Thanos groaned loudly.

"You will pay for what you did, asshole." Y/N said angrily. Thor, in the other hand, had enough of Thanos's dillydallying, swung his axe and beheaded him. Thanos's blood splatted over Y/N face and their suit. "What did you do?" Rocket said. "I went for the head" Thor answered. He walks out, heading back to the spaceship. Y/N lets go of the energy spear they had been holding. They stared at Thanos's lifeless body, with mixed feelings.

“Dammit!” They said, hitting their head against the wall in anger. Hot tears of frustration fell from their eyes. Why were they feeling like this? Natasha reached out to hug them, which Y/N reciprocated.

Y/N knew that they should be glad that monster was gone, after everything he had done to them, and the universe. But even seeing him lying dead on the ground, his blood on their skin. They felt as if it was too easy. The death that Thor gave him was an easy way out. Y/N felt like he should've experience a death much more pain than this. He deserve so much worse. 

But he's dead now, so why did they still feel like they’ve lost everything?

Y/N has the power to "see" through someone's eyes. It would only work if the person they're "seeing" is alive. Otherwise, all they would see is a blurred vision of what the person would see. They also have the power to manipulate energy to transform to any shape and form.

Stage One: Denial.

Y/N couldn’t believe it.

He couldn’t be gone, not like this.

When Thor came back from space, Y/N was waiting for Loki with a smile. They have been waiting for him ever since Thor’s father, Odin agreed to let them visit him in his cell in Asgard. Even though it was only for an hour, the couple had spent their time together then to its fullest. They couldn’t wait see him after waiting for so long. Y/N practically ran over to Thor, ready to ask where is the man in question. That’s when he told them.

“Y/N. My brother…. Loki didn’t make it.” He said, his eyes avoiding theirs. Y/N laughed. “Good joke, Thor. He’s around here right?” They looked around the room. “You can come out now, darling. You know your tricks won’t work on me” They called out. Minutes passed. Thor looked at them with a sad look. “Thor. You’re joking right?” Y/N looked at him. They laughed disbelievingly. “Loki. If you can hear me, this is not funny.” They said. “Y/N…” Thor started. “No. I refuse to believe this. He’s alive. I know it.” Y/N said loudly. “Y/N. He’s-“ Natasha said. “No! He done this before, faking his death. He’ll come back. He promised me.” They said. Thor and Natasha shared a look, they both knew that Y/N was stubborn. Steve placed his hand on their shoulder. “Y/N . He’s gone.” He said to them, his voice was serious. They shook their head, as if they were trying to shake off their thoughts. “Steve. Look, I know him. He would just leave without saying goodbye like that.” Y/N said. Y/N's legs gave out.

Steve helped her to the couch. Y/N used their power, their eyes glowed.

All they could see was a blurry ground. They gasped as they were shaken to reality by Thor. Y/N's eyes were brimmed with tears. "He's....really gone?" They whispered, voice thick with emotion. Thor nodded slowly. Y/n lets out a loud sob. They threw their arms around Thor's shoulder. Thor wrapped them in his arms. They held each other as they grieve together.

"What was his last words?"

Thor struggled to break free from his bindings as he watched his brother, who was on choke lift by Thanos. He tried to scream for Thanos to stop but the metal muzzle around his mouth prevented him for doing so. He helplessly watched as Loki tried to escape Thanos's death grip. Loki soon realized that he couldn't, so he used his telepathy to talk to Thor instead.

"Brother."

"Loki, how-"

"It doesn't matter now. Tell Y/N that I love them, and that I'm sorry. Tell them to look at their favourite book, I left something fo-"

He never got to finish his thoughts. As his body stayed still, eyes glossed over. Thor screamed as loud as he could as he mourned over his brother.

"He told me to tell you that he loved you. And to look at your favourite book? He said he left something for you." Thor said. Y/N cried harder, as they processed the sentence he said. Thor mumbled apologies to them. For not saving Loki. Y/N let Thor rambled on. "Wait, Thor." They said. Thor looked up. "Did you say that he left something for me?" Y/N said. Thor nodded. "He said to look at your favourite book." He said. "Would you mind if I go and see it?" They said. Thor nodded and got up so they could move. Y/N walked toward their room.

They shuffled around. Looking for their book, they caught a glimpse of the (F/B) at the corner of their eye. Grabbing the book, they opened the book. A piece of paper fell from the book. It wasn't there before. "When did he put it there?" They thought. Y/N picked it up, opened it and started reading.

To my beloved Y/N,  

I'm sure that you are wondering when did I slipped the letter in your favourite book? Well, some magic and also because you brought it here when you last visited me. Well, let's forget about that. I wrote this letter because I know that something would happen to me in the near future. And I know there's no way that we would have time to talk then, so here we are. The mad titan is getting more and more suspicious of my loyalty to him as the days go by. I'm planning to keep the Tesseract away from him. I can't let him have it.

Other that that, I also wrote this letter to tell you that I love you, so very much. I believe no words could ever express the love I have for you, darling. I know that my oncoming death will affect you tremendously so. So please, do not so anything reckless. I wouldn't want you get hurt. You know that I have many regrets in my life. But my biggest regret is that I wasn't able to marry you. I've been wanting to ask you when you last came here but my nerves got the best of me.

All I ever wanted is to spend my entire life with you. To marry you and have a family with you. But alas, Fate seems to prevent me for doing so. But I don't care, I will marry you someday. Maybe in a another life. I know our love can transcend everything. Even Fate. I love you, Y/N. Fresh tears gathered in their eyes, blurring their eyesight as they tried to search the room for the box Loki mentioned. It was sitting on the shelf beside them. They opened it to find a ring. Their hand covering their mouth. It was a sliver band with a small emerald on the middle. It was simple but it was perfect. Y/N put it on. It fit perfectly on their ring finger.

Tears started to trickle down their face. Loki didn't deserve this, after everything he been through as a child until now. Y/N's sadness slowly turned to anger.

Thanos will pay for what he did.
