I saw this on twitter this morning and it reminded of just how many great ideas and concepts were floating around in the early stages of the Loki series. This is very in character for Loki. He probably would not have thought twice about something like slavery especially on a place like Midgard before the events of Thor 1 but let's put ourselves in his shoes for a moment.

This is a Loki that’s just been ripped out of his timeline, stripped of his clothes, put into different collar, and tossed into the unknown.

He has also just been info dumped his entire life story by some guy, Mobius, who really believes in him for some reason. Of course the first thing he's going to do is kill the slave owner.

if i got a nickel for seeing a ship end with a chatacter who leaves to do something greater/fulfilling their purpose and help more ppl, but at the expense of leaving the love of their life alone and letting them lose their previous purpose...I'd get two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Mobius says ‘gently’ and Loki just moves the guy out of the way. No violence at all.

Mobius says ‘go ahead’ and Loki bashes these guys into a wall. Much violence.

She’s finally living up to her true title, no not the god of mischief, Mobius’ little pet.

funny that every time people said they wanted Loki and Mobius to be a couple because then it would be a nice representation for the queer community, there would always be some dudes crying “why does everything have to be gay?”. please describe ���everything’. under Disney’s reign where 98% of their projects center around heterosexual relationships, please do tell me in what world you live in that ‘everything’ Disney is gay. and please also tell me which part of people’s wanting a gay couple, that is also the main characters of a big Marvel series, for once, means they want to get rid of all heterosexuality and make ‘everything’ gay. please look me in the eyes and say it’s not y’all who want to eliminate anything homosexual when all people ask for is just good actual queer representation that’ll make their community feel seen.

Loki deserves a proper closure to that plot. His mother is brought up occasionally and he has that guilt of thinking it’s his fault she was killed. He needs that assurance that he’s on the right path and it’s not his fault. It’s just all meant to be in the timeline.

Thor got his moment with Frigga in Engdame, but he’s not the one who truly needs it. It’s Loki.

Is there any chance of this happening? Absolutely not. Just like I don’t think there a real chance of any Loki/Mobious ship. BUT I love to be proven wrong! Let’s see!
