a heavy sigh fell from andi’s parted lips as she grabbed onto the window sill, hoisting herself up and slipping through it into the dark and empty studio room ❛ come on ❜ she hummed to logan who was following right behind her, making his own way in. when he’d first picked her up at midnight, their plan was plain and simple: find some place, grab a bite to eat. however, when the first few restaurants had failed them, the westlake village gallery was the first place that came to mind. not that she minded, of course -- if she were going to take him anywhere under normal circumstances where they weren’t sneaking around, this place would’ve been her number one spot. while she wasn’t an artist herself, her safe place had always been galleries and art museums. so when she just so had insanely suggested that they try sneak into the gallery through the retro fire escape the building still had, finding an unlocked window was basically like being handed the key to the front door. 

she waited until logan was next to her to grab onto his hands, keeping her tone hushed ❛ i know this isn’t exactly the two am breakfast we planned for, but i might have something better in store, bransgrove ❜ andi’s eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness inside the museum, the only source of light being the one coming from the moon and the streetlights outside. stopping in front of a huge canvas with contemporary expressionism on it, andi traced her fingertips over the textured painting before glancing over at the boy next to her ❛ take a good look at this. this might be in the louvre one day ❜

It wasn’t that she wanted to hurt people. In fact, Sage was often consumed with guilt after recklessly ruining someone’s life. She considered herself a good person, and although most of the people who knew her wouldn’t have thought so, she did try to be more conscientious of the trouble she got up to. The problem was that she had so much energy, and she had such a hard time telling herself no when she was having fun. That was how Sam had happened--it was also, consequently, how she’d lost Logan, and if there was one thing in her life Sage genuinely regretted, it was cheating on someone who had been such a good thing. Of course, there wasn’t a chance in hell she’d have let Logan know how bad she felt--she wasn’t good with self control, and she definitely wasn’t good with owning up to things. She did miss him, though, and maybe that was why, when she saw the back of Logan’s head at a cafe that morning before class, she went up behind him and popped a large blue bubble of gum in his ear. “You’re looking just as cranky as ever,” she said, eyelashes fluttering as though there wasn’t a mountain of history behind them and every reason in the world for Logan to hate her. “I didn’t know vampires could be out and about in the sun.” @loganbransgrove

“that’s a tough one. I guess my most favorite thing about him would be how caring he is for the people he loves. he’s always there when you need him, whether it’s for something so minuscule or something that you think is more important than the world – he’s there, and he’s not going anywhere. he’s like that with his friends, with his sister, and with me. sometimes I’ll call him over just because I can’t sleep, and he’s with me within minutes without questioning. it’s become a routine to where I can’t even sleep without him. he’s…amazing, and I love him more than I can even try to describe.”

he was one of the last people alexia wanted to run into. it couldn’t exactly be said that the two ended on good terms. but she wasn’t the type of person to hold a grudge. nor to point blank ignore anyone. so when alexia found herself in the situation that had her face to face with logan, she responded the only way she knew how to. with kindness. besides, there was no way of trying to get away now. not without seeming rude. which is not what alexia was known for. neither did she want to be classed as. “logan--” she greeted, biting her bottom lip slightly. “how... how have you been?”
