May we hear your theories?
*really big stupid grin* okay okay feel free to ask me to expand on specific stuff lol, this is going to basically be Way Too Much Information and You Literally Couldn't Be More Vague. no in-between
okay here goes
1: Jessica and Kipps knew each other. I love this one. oh this is going to be so long I apologize in advance. I actually just reblogged a post like this earlier today, but yeah I think they knew each other and were quite close before she died. I have a lot of ideas on this that are mostly rooted in canon but a bit of a stretch, but only because they weren't expanded on and you'd think something that important would be lol. also it's headcanon based too but whatever. basically the highlights are
a) yeah they were friends. the ages make sense, and the implication kipps made that he knows about lockwood's life does too.
b) (really headcanon-y be warned, but like it does come from teeny details from canon soooo) kipps didn't like lockwood even before the fight, mainly because he thought the little guy put too much stress on Jessica to grow up and take care of him. Jessica had, as we know, clung to youth, and lockwood was one of the many things keeping her from it. NOT HIS FAULT, HE WAS A LITTLE KID, but still. in kipps' mind, Anthony was keeping Jessica from being as happy as she could be and that was enough for him to be annoyed. so once she died the swordfight they had was the icing on the cake. ohh this is becoming dangerously close to a VERY detailed headcanon/kipps analysis/Jessica analysis oh no
2) lockwood is neurodivergent :)))) I made a post about this too. uh somewhere
3) hey guess what. they're all neurodivergent. no it does absolutely nothing for the plot (unless you're Lucy or Lockwood) but I think so and it makes me happy
4) uhh okay that's it for theories that are actually important everything else is a headcanon based on Tiny Little Things that I saw. or me overanalyzing things because that's my favorite hobby
example of these pointless headcanons would be flo was actually big-sisterly to lockwood before the, uh, Incident, kipps and Holly are now close friends, lockwood loves cats, etc random nonsense that I entertain myself with

Review Time!!!
No thoughts except Lockwood offering a cup of tea to the person ransacking his apartment. It’s just Lockwood up there.
Honestly it has been a hot second since I have read the books (thank you losing it in a library) but I remember a lot of it and honestly it was supremely amazing. These characters all felt like they were my favorite little blorbos all brought to life. They had flaws, they cried, they had panic attacks while being chased down by black market dealers who need to learn the term “chill”, and every second of it was just amazing
It also made me realise how freaking neurodivergent these characters are like George? A million percent autistic you can fight me on this one and Lockwood is definitely ADHD I mean have you seen this guys everything? His house is cluttered (which is definetly inherited ADHD) he just straight up forgot to put important ghost hunting materials into his important ghost hunting bag, the open insomnia, he cannot sit still or shut up if it would save his life (well, make it someone else’s life he wouldn’t do much to save his own) and like they have an entire table dedicated to writing thoughts down so it doesn’t “out of sight out of mind” like c’mon!!!
Every interaction just felt so right and like it came out of the book and the show fit what I remembered from when I read the books through the night and all through my classes when I should’ve been paying attention and look where we are now, I’m posting about probably one of my favorite series at four am after binging it all night.
With that in mind, I think I’m gonna have to watch again in order to make any coherent thoughts other than “10/10, would watch again”

Things from Lockwood & co because I can:
Episode 1
The flashbacks of Lucy being just enough that you get the sense of who she was and what her life was like before, without it being too much. It was quicker paced and I liked that
George being George (he’s so neurodivergent coded my god)
Lockwood looked at Lucy with such love in his eyes the minute he saw her
“How do I know you’re good enough for me”
Lockwood panickedly fighting off the ghost while Lucy hangs on to the painting
The way Lockwood shouts Lucy’s name as he pulls her up, how the both sit there clutching onto each other, out of breath, looking into each other’s eyes, as Lockwood makes sure Lucy is alright (I’ve barley seen people talk about this moment but this was the moment for me when I saw how in love Lockwood is with Lucy, I mean just look at the way he looks at her, and yeah maybe it was cause Lucy almost fell but watch it and tell me you don’t see it, because honestly I love that scene)
Lucy saving Lockwood but setting the place on fire in the process
Jumping form the fire (Them and their jumping from places)
Episode 2
Lockwood calling Lucy “Luce”
“You need normal people around you.” “You really think you’re normal George?”
“Normal never fixed anything” (I just love this quote idk)
“Trousers are for wimps” (I love George)
The way their hands touched when Lockwood gave Lucy the ring, it was so gentle and brief
Just the whole scene where Lucy is processed by Annabel. The way Lockwood knows it’s not Lucy but you can still tell how much he loves her and how he’s holding her and ahhh there’s just so much to this scene I love it. There’s also the fact that I want to point out how vulnerable Lockwood is in this scene too. He uses clothes as armour and this is one of the few times he’s in just a regular old tshirt and sweater. That makes him vulnerable and just the stripped down version of himself in that moment where Lucy is not really being herself. He’s so shaken by this and it’s just ahhh I love it
Anthony Lockwood and his pink socks
“My names Lockwood and you need a ladder” (I love him)
George and Lucy getting to know each other over pizza. It’s just such a sweet little bonding moment idk
“You’re our biggest asset” (Lockwood you idiot)
“I am drowning here Lockwood. Sometimes I just think I am better off dead.”
Just the scene in the park. He doesn’t want to lose her and I don’t think she wants to go, but being called a asset cuts deep for Lucy as that’s all she was before she got here.
“Please stay.”
Lockwood grabbing Lucy’s hand (I missed it in this scene the first time but I adore the fact that he takes her hand at any opportunity)
“Can I offer you a cup of tea while you ransack my house?”
The fact that Lucy took the ring, I just find it funny
