The rest of the Brotherhood asked— sometimes jokingly, sometimes with genuine curiosity— how'd you managed to do it. You brushed it off casually, catching Peng's glance from nearby. You knew they'd never believe you if you just said the truth, so you decided to keep it between you two

Rewritten History To Be With You AU

We need more Blackquill content that stands on its own, rather than just being a side ship for Shadowpeach or used to support Shadowpeach/Macaque or other ships. So, I created an AU focused entirely on this ship!

In this AU, Peng and Macaque accidentally get sent back to the past (and no, it’s not the Ink Curse’s fault). I’m still figuring out how it happens, but they both end up in the past—right before the Brotherhood’s attempt to overthrow the Jade Emperor. Neither of them knows the other is also in the past, so they each decide, "Before I try to get back to the future, I’m going to get revenge on Peng/Macaque by dating them and breaking their heart!" Cool idea, right? So, they go for it! Peng is the first to ask Macaque out, and they start going on lots of dates, trying to outdo each other with backhanded compliments and glares.

But the more they keep up this "revenge," the more they slowly start to fall in love. Macaque begins to realize that he misunderstood Peng—they’re not as much of an asshole and a bitch as he thought (okay, they’re still an asshole and a bitch, just not as much as he originally believed). Meanwhile, Peng’s mindset shifts from "Haha! I’m going to date Macaque and break his heart for breaking mine first!" to "AHHHH!!! HEART! Haven’t you learned anything!?"

So, Macaque starts thinking, "Wow, I was so focused on Sun Wukong that I didn’t realize how little time I spent with the rest of the Brotherhood, especially Peng. I guess I’ll abandon my old plan and try to spend more time with Peng before the Brotherhood’s doom." On the other hand, Peng is having a total crisis and is not okay. From Macaque’s point of view, it looks like Peng is finally letting themselves be vulnerable, which is huge because Peng always called Macaque a "cowardly rat" and was a total asshole. From Peng’s perspective, it seems like Macaque finally loves them, not Sun Wukong, but them! And this is a big deal for Peng.

As for the Brotherhood, Demon Bull King and Yellowtusk are the only ones who approve and support this relationship—to the point where Yellowtusk even bets Demon Bull King that Peng and Macaque will get married within the year, and Demon Bull King accepts the bet. Meanwhile, Sun Wukong and Azure Lion absolutely do not approve of this relationship. Does this include Yandere Sun Wukong and Yandere Azure Lion? Absolutely! Listen, if Shadowpeach is going to make Peng and Azure Lion their main antagonists, then I’m allowed to do this, okay? Good.

Anyway, Get ready for lots of miscommunication (it’s Macaque and Peng, after all), misunderstandings (again, it’s Macaque and Peng), jealousy, drama, “No, it’s not what it looks like!”, yandere vibes (from Azure Lion and Sun Wukong), sabotage (Azure Lion and Sun Wukong trying to ruin Peng and Macaque’s relationship), intense love-hate dynamics, flirting under fire, “Are we fighting or flirting?”, rivals to enemies to lovers, and much more! feel free to ask me any questions about this AU! Lmk Ghost AU - Shadowpeach x Reader

I've been watching scenes from a show called ghost. They are stuck in my head so what so I do? Make a new AU obviously. With many obvious changes but that is where the main inspiration is from.

Not gonna make a fanfic of it... yet but I wanna put the idea out there for this. At least not a full several chapter fanfic.

Reader has inherited a house from her recently passed away grandmother. A huge mansion out in the mountains, being a broke graduate student she takes the house.

She along with her best friend Spirit move into the house. After a long debate, Spirit doesn't want to leave her alone.

Reader loves the house as soon as she walks through the doors. Unaware that the place is haunted by dun dun dun ghosts! (Didn't see that one coming, did you?)

Anyways Spirit is a glamoured monkey demoness so she is able to see the ghosts. Of course she ignores them at first until she realizes something strange.

These ghosts are able to actually touch and affect the living realm. She finds this out when she is separated from Reader and can't warn her soon enough.

Sun Wukong and The Six Eared Macaque are curious about the two people 'intruding' on their home. But think Reader is cute and follow her around until...

An accident happens with some artifacts that Reader finds and Reader falls unconscious. She wakes up to Spirit freaking out and getting her up.

However when she wakes up there are more people than just Spirit in the room.

Said people are the Brotherhood and the pilgrims. (In this au, Wukong and Macaque were NOT immortal)

Spirit: Reader, Reader wake up!!

Reader: *Wakes up seeing ghosts around her*

Wukong: Looks like she's alive.

Peng: Obviously, she's alive. *Rolling their eyes*

Tang: Oh, thank goodness. Why would you even allow for her to enter the library!?

Macaque: Oh shut it Monk.

Reader: Who are all these people!?

Ghosts: She can see us!?

Spirit: Reader what do you- Reader!!

Reader: *passes out before Spirit can finish.*

The ghosts are shocked and want to know more. None of them have been able to speak with the living for ages.

They can move objects around, such as moving small objects. And each have their own 'ghost power' (still working on who gets what power), but other than that, they can't do anything to the world.

The artifact that affected Reader also allows her to touch the ghosts and them her. Why? Because I say so. This means that many of the ghosts take this opportunity to scare her.

At first, they try to make her leave (don't know why yet), but by the time they convince her to leave, they actually want her to stay! Unfortunately when she wants to leave they want her to stay.

So it becomes a fight to get her to stay! Hehe~ Maybe they shouldn't threaten to kill her. 😅

On a dark desert highway Cool wind in my hair

You were sitting atop one of the many rooftops in Camden, London, quietly humming one of your favorite songs to yourself as you looked out into the distance. The cool breeze was refreshing compared to the stuffy atmosphere of your tiny apartment downstairs, and you decided you'd stay up here on the rooftop for as long as you could, until of course you were caught by the police for breaking the curfew. It had happened before.

My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim I had to stop for the night

You hugged your knees to your chest and rested your chin atop them, breathing in the night air softly, the moonlight shining onto your face as you looked up at the stars. But you could barely see them, the entire sky covered in a thick layer of fog, gases emitted from the thousands of horrific factories littering the streets of London, courtesy of the one and only President Osborne, a hopeless tyrant with nothing better to do than pollute.

There she stood in the doorway I heard the mission bell

"What're you lookin' at lassie?"

You swiveled your head around, heart beating out of your chest as you stumbled back, nearly falling off the rooftop, searching for where that voice had come from. "Hey, don't worry. I'm not a cop" A man appeared from the shadows with a wink, wearing a bright red and blue costume, completed with a leather jacket and skinny jeans on top. The one and only Spider-punk.

"Whatcha doin' up 'ere all my y'self at this time of nigh'?" He asked, plopping down next to you, mask lit up by the light coming from the night sky. "O-oh just hanging out" you stammered, a bit taken aback by his cool, playful nature. You weren't expecting to meet the vigilante at this time, and you definitely weren't expecting him to take a seat next to you.

And I was thinking to myself This could be heaven or this could be hell

"I heard you singing somethin'." He leaned in toward you slightly, head tilted sideways as he looked down at you. "What song was 't?" You fidgeted with your fingers, sitting in a criss-cross position and keeping your gaze on the distance in front of the two of you. "Hotel California" you said quietly, a smile appearing on your face as the lyrics crossed your mind. "Its a nice song". He nodded, looking out at the distance like you were. "Tha' it is."

Then she lit up a candle And she showed me the way

"You didn't answer m'question though" He said, looking back at you. "What're you doing up at this time of night all by y'self?"

"I was just thinking."

"Thinking 'bout what?"

"Everything."

There were voices down the corridor I thought I heard them say

He blinked. "You gonna keep acting like a priss or are ya gonna tell me?" You shot him a scowl. "There's just a lot going on in my life right now, okay? Besides, I'm sure you don't want to hear about it. There's probably plenty people out there that you need to save" you said somberly, biting the inside of your cheek as you looked away again.

"Look 'ere peng," He said, snapping his fingers at you. "I'm London's friendly neighborhood Spider-man. I'm not just here to save people. Whatever you 'ave to say, I'm here to listen too."

Welcome to the Hotel California

"Really? So I can ask you anything?"

"Anything."

A moment of silence followed, a moment you took to think about what your question should be. And then it hit you.

"Why do you do what you do?"

He looked a bit taken aback by this question, the white eyes of his mask widening slightly. "Jumping right into it, are we?" He asked with a soft chuckle, looking down over the rooftop. His fingers fidgeted, picking at a rip in his jeans as he thought up what his answer would be. He hadn't been expecting you to ask a question that would require such a complicated answer.

"You did say I could ask you anything..." Your voice was slightly cocky, enjoying how tongue-tied he seemed trying to give a response. The question may have seemed innocent, but you were genuinely curious.

Your life wasn't terrible. You came from a fairly well-off family, you attended a good college, you lived in a clean neighborhood in a nice apartment. But you were so sad all the time. There was no reason for it, it was just as if you didn't understand the point of anything you did. Like nothing mattered. Like you didn't matter.

How was this man supporting the weight of the world on his shoulders without voicing a single complaint? How could a person be so strong? Why was he so strong?

"I do this-this Spider-man gig-" He gestured as his suit, "-because if I don't, nobody else will."

He looked back over at you and noticed your head slightly tilted as if you were waiting for a longer response. "Thats it. Tha's my reason."

"Oh?"

He stammered for a moment, gears in his head turning as he tried to explain what he was trying to say. "Look, I'm the only Spider-man in this city, right? If I'm gone, what'll happen to the people I'm s'posed to protect?" He pointed out towards the distant lights of the inner city, "The people in the slums, the punks and protestors of London, I'm their voice." He sighed softly, looking up at the stars, the light making the eyes of his mask shine brightly, an almost ethereal glow emanating. "I have to do this. I have to fight for these people. I'm their only hope."

"I see." You said quietly, a slight smile spreading across your face. He wasn't as perfect as he seemed. The poor guy seemed pretty stressed from the look of it. All that pressure..., "I was expecting you to say it was for the freedom. Or the fame." You added in a slightly teasing tone, nudging his shoulder gently to snap him out of his somber trance.

He jumped slightly at the touch before a grin returned to his face. "What fame? Half the city hates me and the other half think I'm a saint." He shook his head. "I'm neither."

"You're not a saint?"

"I'm not a hero."

You were a bit taken aback by this declaration. "What are you talking about? If anyone's a hero it's you." you said, raising an eyebrow at him. He chuckled softly, looking at you, the white of his mask boring into you. "Guess you're part of the second half then."

You rolled your eyes at him. "Mate, you're the sole reason London's not up in flames at this moment. That seems pretty heroic to me."

"I've been the reason for a lot of other things going up in flames, though" he countered teasingly, leaning in towards you slightly, that playful tone returning to his voice.

"Yeah but that's all Osborne's crap. Nobody's complaining about it."

"Hah. Damn right."

Another moment of silence followed, the quiet tension almost deafening. "Not as perfect as you seem, hmm pretty boy?"

"You think I'm pretty?" He gave you a sly wink. "You haven't even seen my face. But you're probably right about the perfect part." You smacked his arm playfully, laughing as you did so.

You hadn't expected your spirits to have been lifted so easily, but he just had that effect. A can-do attitude and a cocky tone could do wonders for a bad day. "So? Did your friendly neighborhood Spider-man save yet another boring night?" He asked smugly, tilting his head and putting his hands behind him to support him as he leaned back. "Honestly? Yeah. Thanks." You said, offering him as fist bump. He took it, gently bumping his suited fist against yours and making a pop noise with his mouth as he pulled it away.

Suddenly, you heard an explosion from the distance, probably the result of yet another instance of police brutality, Osborne's pigs being well-known for their trigger-happy fingers and exclusively deadly weaponry. There wasn't a day gone by where something didn't get blown up or a group of people wasn't killed. But that was just life in London. "I suppose that's my cue to leave" Spider-punk said, hopping up and stretching out his arms, cracking his neck to the side. "It was nice meeting you, Ms...?"

"Y/N"

"Y/N." he repeated, letting the name roll off his tongue. "Lovely name for a lovely face."

You shook your head at him. "Don't you have somewhere to be?" You asked, suppressing a laugh. "Yeah, yeah. I'll see you around, darling." And he was off.

I remember back in the old days there was these videos in fandoms where basically the characters got to see like ships and other fandom material from the show or movie their from.

I ATE these videos up back then. What was so appealing most of all was when characters reacted to ship art. You could always tell the creators favorite ships by how they made the characters react to ship art.

These videos came to my mind and I thought, "I wonder how Lmk characters would react?"

Mk I think would be really akward about it. Like it's not uncomfortable, but he would find it awkward he's being shipped with his friends. He'd probably still read the fanfiction tho.

Mei would get INTO it. You know when actors joke around asking for fanart or fanfiction. Mei would demand at least 5 fics by the end of the week or she'll tank the show.

Sun Wukong would be confused. He doesn't understand technology all that well besides his game console and computer. He would ask "What does ShadowPeach mean?" "What does LionPeach mean?" "What do people keep adding the X after my name?" He doesn't understand any of it and he's confused. (Mei would explain to him later despite Mk and Redson's protest.)

Redson does not give a fuck. At all. He's tired and wants to get back to investing. He'd probably think the art is decent but then he'd go back to work. (Or I'd it was a ship he'd HATE then he breaks the phone screen.)

Macaque would probably like it depending on who it is. He's a artist (despite being bad) and a theater kid himself so he'd appreciate the dramatic fanfiction. If it's someone he likes like Wukong, he would seek fanart and fanfiction. Someone like Peng? He'd snap his screen and half and find the person that wrote it. (To talk. With his fists)

Bai he would only be premmited to look at the cute fanart.

This idea is so silly guys. I don't even know how this thought came to my head. I think I was just thinking it was funny that Wukong wouldn't know what 'ShadowPeach' means.

I finally got everything all together, the readers profile and the Pokemon and their moves, so here's the post!

This is the reader or the LMK x Pokemon Trainer Reader, which will actually be a part of my Show Me Your Moves series on my AO3, possibly under the name All The Right Moves, but that might change. Reader is a Pokemon Ranger Trainer from the Kalos Region. Their starter Pokemon is a Delphox. They also have Linoone, Fletchinder, Goomy, Sylveon, and Lopunny on their team. Reader’s main gimmick is Mega Evolution, with Lopunny capable of it.

Their gimmick pokemon is Zoroark, which they’ve had since childhood, and their fossil Pokemon is Aurorus, which they’ve revived themselves.

Due to being a Pokemon Ranger Trainer, Reader is very diligent, hardworking and down to get serious.

Ik you said macaque just using his words to taunt reader an all, and just reminding her about where her loyalty once was, but I just can't help but hear it yk?

Headcanon(or not idk): As much as reader hates macaque she still holds onto past memories with him, the good ones atleast. And macaque does the same but just burries it deep down and chooses to hurt reader instead. They both deny about caring for one another, but something telling them in the back of their mind know they are wrong.

Reader will always be macaques successor in macaques eyes, and shit maybe even her eyes too.

"Is there anyway wukong could break is hold over you?" Or wtv peng says. I can see that line being used against reader and referencing to macaque.

I'm kinda impressed y'all like this series so much because what started it was a stupid little porn request 😭 damn

Anyways while I do like how you guys are invested in Macaque and Reader's relationship.....and I also remember that audio from TikTok which imma definitely be using for the other part of the fic, i feel like I really need to add something here.

Macaque and Reader's relationship are written to be borderline toxic and manipulative. Because I'm writing through the Reader's perspective it's not really obvious, I think, but it is, for clarification. The Macaque x Reader fic I have planned is intended to focus on scenes I skipped out on parts one and two and to focus on Macaque's thoughts about his successor. That fic is not going to be lighthearted in the slightest.

If at any point I write a fic for this series that involves Macaque's behavior to be in general nicer towards Reader, it's an au and not at all canon to the storyline. Some of Reader's other relationships with other characters (Wukong, Red Son etc) will also be slightly similar, ie toxic. Just to add this for any Macaque fans who might get upset their favorite is an asshole.

So while Reader definitely holds onto the good memories she had with Macaque (as mentioned), I wouldn't say Macaque's feelings are mutual. At the very least, he misses that Reader was more naive and gullible....and he thinks her belief in him helping her out of "kindness" is kind of silly if not dumb.

Uhhdhshahd hang on y'know what lemme actually explain something so I guess. Spoilers if you're invested in this series.

When Macaque said Reader had something he needed, he wasn't joking. He desperately needs Reader because of the deal he made with Lady Bone Demon.... and someone else.

Won't give anything away about Reader, but basically; Macaque's been keeping an eye on her for some time. When the Reader from the real world ended up in LMK, he took an opportunity to jump at the chance to get what he desired. Some things are definitely strange and different from what he knows, but because Reader was more susceptible to his tricks, he kinda just held his peace?

All the training he's done with her was for a purpose. He needs her to be strong in order to get what he desires, because if she isn't and dies....he's kinda fucked.

Macaque doesn't know Reader is. Well, a transmigrator for lack of a better term. He DOES know there's something wrong with her, and that something is good for HIM, because the easier she is to control, the easier it is to achieve his freedom. He has no affection or attachments towards Reader specifically, albeit he doesn't know why, because somehow he's able to see MK as a good kid, etc etc, but he cannot and will not ever feel any type of affection towards Reader. What he does feel is NOT healthy and is more of a strange obsession to destroy. Much like Wukong's feelings towards Reader as well.

Again, I am very happy you guys love this series to examine and make headcanons, but please be advised that it is not my intention to make Reader's relationship with Macaque to be wholesome AT ALL. I'm adding this because I don't want anyone to be upset if things don't work out like they want. Nice Macaque is NOT canon to this series and it will not be.

Please don't mistake their relationship because that's not the intention. It's not some tsundere type thing where Macaque is trying to deny he might actually like Reader. His intentions are not at all good towards the Reader.

Eh...I thought I wrote it pretty obvious enough....but I'm kinda worried now if people think their relationship is any way wholesome 🙁
