I have some questions for people watching GH, because I haven't been a regular watcher in over a decade and wasn't planning to ever watch again until the day Vanessa Marcil returns so Brenda can escort Sonny off the show.

Who is writing during the strike? Is it Gary Tomlin?

Is there any actual hope of good things happening to/for Blair, or is she about to walk into a seething mess of something horrible that Blair and T&B fans are probably going to wish she'd stayed well away from?

Oh, look, @coraclavia! It’s Bebe Nathan Fillion’s half sister who was born in an underground city outside of Llanview, which is totally a place that existed on network television, and Bebe NF’s mother forgot about giving birth to her. She escaped on snow skis from the Kingdom of Mendorra.

Oh, and she totally murdered someone that one time on Castle.

And then Beckett had to punish Castle a lot for this. I wonder what Bebe Nathan Fillion’s sister is doing on General Hospital? In conclusion: Llanview. Totally a place that Bebe NF lived. (Hey look! There he is hugging the wife of that Congressman Ryan was bodyguarding for!)

If Nora is the new DA, perhaps the reason she is a pain in Jordan’s ass is because Jordan is a terrible cop and the PCPD as a whole sucks, while Llanview’s PD actually produced some results.

TVLine reports new details about KDP/Blair's return to GH...

I guess this is spoilers, so spoilers below on what brings Blair to GH...

As our sister site Soaps.com correctly speculated (and as confirmed by the above image), it will be revealed that Blair is the mysterious third ex-wife of Martin Grey, played by All My Children-turned-GH cast member Michael E. Knight. DePaiva will also share scenes with GH vet Jane Elliot, who plays Tracy Quartermaine.

Some quick takeaways from this:

1. So, unfortunately, it sounds like T&B's 2013 union is history. Unless they're just planning to massively rewrite Blair's history so she was married to Martin any time before 2013, it's far more likely either that GH is choosing to ignore OLTL's run on TOLN or that they're going to reveal that T&B's marriage ended (either due to divorce or due to Todd never returning home after he left Blair in 2013) and that Blair married and divorced Martin in the aftermath.

2. My understanding from a cursory look at some GH recaps is that Martin has described his ex-wife -- Blair, now -- as sadistic and rich, and apparently she's been paying him $50,000 a month in alimony to ensure he never gets married to anyone else.

3. Also, apparently Martin and Tracy are involved in some plot related to Deception, which is the GH version of Melador. So maybe that's why Blair got chosen to be Martin's ex -- because they wanted someone involved in cosmetics? I don't even remember the last time Melador was mentioned on OLTL.

4. Supposedly, Martin's ex-wife is from Pine Valley. No idea WTF that's about unless something horrible happened to Blair in Llanview that prompted her to pack up and move to Pine Valley.

The good news is that we don't have long to wait for answers. I should be available to recap live here on the blog on Friday and Monday.

What we all would give to see our Jolie back at it again on OLTL if it does get rebooted on ABC, see them as a family with Liam, kicking ass at the Llanview PD and still perhaps dealing with Mitch and him coming back some how as he always had, and Allison Perkins doing her bidding too, and Marty and Natalie have another show down, see Starr & Cole back together with Hope, and Jessica back with Brody raising Ryder & Bree, Bo and Nora happy and Chief of police again, Viki and Clint back together or rather still together, Jack not causing issues anymore, Danny and Nate happy together perhaps having a family of their own, Todd and Blair back together and a proper burial for Victor and Sam looking to Todd as a new father figure and Dorian Lord make a return and the rest of the Lord, Buchanan, and Cramer woman and family all return. And much more story to tell. ❤️ fingers crossed for a reboot for One Life To Life, and All My Children! And also to have the fan events back like One Life To Live fan club weekend with the girls night out event hosted by @_melissaarcher herself and Kristen & Eddie Aldersons event etc. All the memories we as fans share with the amazing cast. I hope this for 2020 the return of our beloved Soap Operas. Okay, I'm SO far behind on GH, it's not even funny, but Mom pulled me in to watch the special Christmas episode. I can't believe how silly I got, when I saw Franco and Finn in the same office. I was like 'McBain and Manning...John and Todd! It's McBain and Manning!!!' I miss those two in scenes together, their banter alone...What was your favorite part?

I just watched the Christmas episode today.  The holidays have been pretty busy and it was a bit hard to catch up on the soap with all the preemptions.  Somehow, my DVR didn’t catch yesterday’s episode, which annoys me.  Now, I have to go to Hulu.

Honestly, the whole Christmas Carol plot kinda bored me.  I thought they did a better job on the plot back in 2003 with Luke with Stavros as basically the Ghost of Christmas Future.  I will say that the costumes, especially for Josslyn, Liesl, and Ava as the Ghosts were on point.

But I will say that having Tracy back, even for a short stint, is my favorite thing.  I love her moments with the family, as the Quartermaines are my favorite PC family.  And Finn and Tracy’s friendship is the best.  It brings back the real Finn, not the pale imitation he is with Anna.

Honestly, I could do without any Franco on my screen.  That included Franco with Drew’s memories, whom we thankfully said goodbye to.  It’s nothing against Roger Howarth, but the character.  I do miss Todd Manning.  But I would rather have Todd in Llanview happy with Blair and causing mishcief than in Port Charles for no apparent reason.  At least when Todd was on General Hospital, he had a purpose and a story.

And I do miss John McBain, but the GH writers never should have broken up him and Natalie just to capitalize on Easton’s chemistry with Kelly Monaco.  Port Charles was a good show and I did like Caleb and Livvie, but John/Sam didn’t work and they wrecked two great ships, destroyed a good soap’s history by making Stephen Clay a crazy serial killer who thought he was vampire Caleb, and then Silas was a rebound for Sam and should have been with Ava before being unceremoniously killed off.  I do like Michael Easton as Hamilton Finn, but he belongs with Hayden.  Anna needs to be with Robert.
