further bitching will not be going in the liveblog tag but i need to speak my truth ……. i fear victory+ is probably not going to grow on me gang 😭 i think the desktop ui is bad for watching anything longer than a player’s post practice media availability!! and i think it's also bad for watching something that you’d like to take up your window but not your full screen!! also having the video player naturally take up a third of the screen & be so severely off center is A Choice ………….. it’s like what if your professional sports broadcast wanted to be formatted like a youtube video but with an even smaller video player. and also the biggest (and most off center!!) pause & fast forward buttons imaginable anytime your cursor so much as twitches towards said video player.

idk with all the discourse about who's allowed to sing and who not, I feel like a lot of people forgot why humans sing in the first place, where singing comes from culturally...

Especially the Thai culture and fandom reminded me of that you do not have to be a perfect singer to have fun with each other. Singing is originally a fun or emotional activity to share vibes with your group, village, tell stories. (side note: the pagan folk genre is basically also a good witness of the past in that regard)

The whole Thai actor fan meeting and concert habit seems to be a very Thai culture thing just mixed with pop culture and capitalism.

Observing the Thai folks I see at my local yearly Thai festival, they are very similar. They still party hard even if the singer is not that good. They constantly go to the stage to slip the singers some money or gifts, request them to sing certain songs.

So I know this isn't anything that like actually needs an apology but it'll make me feel a bit better to say it. Oof whoops this ABoT chapter is super late. Timing kinda sucks since I wanted to have some updates out while s3 was airing but

Been kinda mega busy and stressed since October with the whole condo buying thing which rolled right into immediate day 0 plumbing and boiler issues I had to get fixed and general moving hassle and financial commitment stress and I kinda just fried myself hard. Plus then acclimating to a new place without my familiar street or familiar grocery store or familiar room or any of that. Like there's no "just go home and take your mind off it" to this cuz home is the "it". So I'm just kinda enduring until I can calm the hell down.

And anyway I definitely have progress on ch47, like 7000-ish words of it, but it's the kind of like "there is writing there" and hasn't exactly hit the "there is substance there" that I want ABoT chapters to be. Like this in particular is a chapter I want to be good, not just be done. So it's taking time to get my brain somewhere that can do that.

#anyway #i mean just in case anyone was like wondering if its discontinued to anything #its still going i just can't make it Good quite yet #(plus i need to get furniture cuz as it stands the place is really quite empty and bare except for like my room and the kitchen)#(also the bank had my address wrong so they havent been able to send me any of the mortgage information which was technically due already)#(ive been in contact with them but it's a whole thing)#(plus im still not quite finished with all the utility switching. i still need to get water in my name)#(and the boiler issue fucked up my gas bill so now ive got a crazy high gas bill i just need to... pay)#(i have actually started seeing a therapist but thats a whole other Thing now figuring out insurance and deductables and using my HSA #account and just... it's a lot)#(oh also my homeowner's insurance policy number doesn't actually work for getting me into the online portal. and the geico guy said he was #looking into it but I havent heard anything in a while)#(its a lot im just gonna melt for a while i guess)#(plus all the upfront stress has made it really hard to associate the new place as 'home' instead of 'place of great many plumbing evils')#(i sat on like 4 million couches this week and the only one i really really like probably doesn't quite fit in my living room)#(the downstairs neighbors tv is too loud and i need to talk to her about it in a way which isn't 'hey im holding on by a thread and this #one small inconvenience is the thing which is making me turn into ash')#(oh thats right i have to go pay my january HOA dues...)#(oh also I need to file for the owner-occupied tax exemption thing now that its 2023)#anyway......... ill be normal eventually. im just not normal right now.#chrissy speaks

What do you mean Junior's actually dead? Andy was tortured for a year? Nica got dismembered? Glen and Glenda's human bodies died and they're back in the doll? Caroline got corrupted and taken by Chucky and Tiffany?

No no, I think you're mistaken.

Junior's actually alive and was living in the middle of the woods for Andy for a year. No torture, just the Chuckies that would come by and then get brutally tortured and murdered by the new father and son duo. It's a bonding activity for them.

Nica never got amputated, it was a hallucination from the drugs that Tiffany was giving her, making her believe that she lost her limbs. But Nica's got her arms and legs, she's okay.

Glen and Glenda are still human but did split both of their souls to put into the doll, GiGi (is it GiGi or GG?? Which is canon??? Idk anymore).

Caroline is fine, she's with Lexy and probably killed Chucky herself, she's got a bit of a dark side.

Overall, they're all just one big happy Final Family.

Idk what show y'all were watching because that's not the one I watched...

So I live in a hazy bubble and somehow managed to entirely forget there was a TV show happening but if you're just finding The Fallout Series big friendly hugs to you <3 I have thoughts and opinions™ and complaints because no piece of art is objectively perfect but welcome to one of my favourite things ever! :)

The American education system IS bad but it’s bad because of things like the criminalization of students (see: school to prison pipeline) and standardized testing that makes it impossible to actually teach subject matter in an interesting way beyond memorization and because it completely disregards disabled students and shit like that. When you trash the education here do it right, because we are NOT all out here thinking that Africa is a single country and that other countries don’t have cities some of y’all just don’t want to admit you didn’t pay attention in class and don’t feel inclined to learn about others.

#while you were writing supernatural fanfic or whatever some of us were studying. like actually studying #like okay maybe I’m the privileged one because I gained consciousness while living in Japan #so I knew about other countries at a very young age #but I also just. watched tv. and read lots of books.#every time y’all say this shit I just think of that post that’s like #‘there can NOT be that many gifted kids on here with some of the takes I’m seeing’#the thing is it’s not like. a crime to have not paid attention in class #I have discalculia so I pretty much tuned out every math class I took #but I also don’t get online and go to people talking about algebra and go #‘ummm they never taught us this :/ some of us are American we only learn pledge of allegiance and burger and big drink’

succession has such an intense grip on my psyche that posting about it as the final season airs is genuinely painful like . it was so much easier during the hiatus because The Beast was hibernating and could not hurt me but now The Beast is prowling and Im Scareyd
