idk with all the discourse about who's allowed to sing and who not, I feel like a lot of people forgot why humans sing in the first place, where singing comes from culturally...

Especially the Thai culture and fandom reminded me of that you do not have to be a perfect singer to have fun with each other. Singing is originally a fun or emotional activity to share vibes with your group, village, tell stories. (side note: the pagan folk genre is basically also a good witness of the past in that regard)

The whole Thai actor fan meeting and concert habit seems to be a very Thai culture thing just mixed with pop culture and capitalism.

Observing the Thai folks I see at my local yearly Thai festival, they are very similar. They still party hard even if the singer is not that good. They constantly go to the stage to slip the singers some money or gifts, request them to sing certain songs.

It was unfortunately the conundrum that came with being a night owl: She could easily be up long into the night without issue, which gave her an opportunity to work on a project (sometimes for work, sometimes just something personal on the side), but it also meant she was exhausted come the wee hours of the morning, when she'd reluctantly rise from her bed to take a quick bath, get dressed, tame her hair, and fix herself a quick breakfast before she had to be out the door. Even on her days off, she couldn't bring herself to sleep in: It just felt like there was too much to do, that she couldn't afford to waste the day by sleeping in.

But today...she just didn't have that nagging worry she had on her weekends. She didn't have that little voice poking her in the back of her head, prodding her into getting out of bed that morning. She felt no great rush to jump out of the sheets and bathe and fetch herself some food to keep her fueled for a little while. Instead, she felt...leisurely. Months ago, she would've been scandalized at the notion of walking down a hotel hallway in just her nightdress and robe, but this morning, she had no issue with taking it easy: Sleeping in, and indulging in a rich, flavorful breakfast with the man she loved.

"I...I hope we have more mornings like this in the future," she admitted, leaning her head on Philippe's shoulder as she dug into her pancakes. "More quiet, easy mornings, where we can just...take our time."

Sometimes I forget about Chucky season 2 canon

Like...what?

What do you mean Junior's actually dead? Andy was tortured for a year? Nica got dismembered? Glen and Glenda's human bodies died and they're back in the doll? Caroline got corrupted and taken by Chucky and Tiffany?

No no, I think you're mistaken.

Junior's actually alive and was living in the middle of the woods for Andy for a year. No torture, just the Chuckies that would come by and then get brutally tortured and murdered by the new father and son duo. It's a bonding activity for them.

Nica never got amputated, it was a hallucination from the drugs that Tiffany was giving her, making her believe that she lost her limbs. But Nica's got her arms and legs, she's okay.

Glen and Glenda are still human but did split both of their souls to put into the doll, GiGi (is it GiGi or GG?? Which is canon??? Idk anymore).

Caroline is fine, she's with Lexy and probably killed Chucky herself, she's got a bit of a dark side.

Overall, they're all just one big happy Final Family.

Idk what show y'all were watching because that's not the one I watched...

I gotta say, I like how the episodes were only approx. 45 minutes (okay, one hour with the commercial breaks but you obviously don't have those on Netflix) back in 1990s and not several hours like they are these days. Like, who the $#@& wants to watch 3 hours of wrestling at once anyway?? Not me. Not even PPV's, really. I just pick and choose who's matches I wanna see and skip the rest even when I kinda would like to watch everything (the problem is, I don't have time, patience, interest or even energy to do that rn)

The American education system IS bad but it’s bad because of things like the criminalization of students (see: school to prison pipeline) and standardized testing that makes it impossible to actually teach subject matter in an interesting way beyond memorization and because it completely disregards disabled students and shit like that. When you trash the education here do it right, because we are NOT all out here thinking that Africa is a single country and that other countries don’t have cities some of y’all just don’t want to admit you didn’t pay attention in class and don’t feel inclined to learn about others.
