i wanna make a printable activity set thats gonna be very customizeable / have space for decorating and coloring, but don’t have many ideas for the actual content of the pages, tis is the layout i made of how i wan it to look

wanna combine some journal type of activities, i’ll see what i’ll add, definitely gonna draw simplistic animals on the borders and for the coloring activities

This inspired me to want to also share something for kiddos who celebrate Hanukkah as I primarily post about Christmas during the holiday season and want to be more inclusive. <3

National Library Week

It’s national library week! But what does that mean?

It’s a week each year to celebrate libraries, library workers, and to promote things like library materials, use, and support!!

Here’s some ideas on how to support your local library!!

Go to the library!! Many libraries are open in some capacity right now. But of course, please be safe, wash your hands, wear a mask, and social distance!

If your library isn’t open to go in, or you can’t go in due to health or other concerns, many libraries have other services they offer! For example, there’s curbside pickup, and some places may even have 24 hour lockers to pick up books in. Look to see what your library is offering as alternatives!

Libraries aren’t just books anymore! You can also check out movies, tv shows, videogames, or come in to use things like the computer, printer, and copy machine. Many libraries are also happy to print or make copies for you if you’re not comfortable going in!

If you can’t go into the library, librarians are often happy to ‘shop’ for you and pick out things you may like based on what you’re looking for. You might even try something you’ve never considered before!

Many libraries are also affiliated with online services like Overdrive or Libby. Look to see what your library may have for online checkout!

Do some crafts and watch videos online! Story times for little ones are usually posted on YouTube or the libraries social media. They usually consist of the librarian reading a story or two, along with things like little songs and rhymes, activities, and sometimes crafts! They’re a lot of fun and a great way to support the librarians who make them!

See what programs are coming up and maybe sign up for some!!! Most are on Zoom/online, and librarians work really hard on them. See if there’s anything that piques your interest and maybe learn something new!

Hey frens!

I'm back, sorry i went away for a bit but I been very busy. But I have big news! My fren H has become my CG! He is amazin and funny and he is the bestest! We went swimming and shopping yesterday wif our other friend L and it was so much fun! I think we goin swimming again next weekend and maybe we could go to a park n have a picnic. I'm gonna be startin back at school soon what sucks but at least I get to see my frens all the time.

Hi frens

Sadly I'm a little bit ill, it's nothing too bad just a summer cold, but it means that I'm super tired and kinda stressed. My family are looking after me the vast they can but I still don't feel too good. I may reblog some things but I won't be making anymore original posts untill I feel better.

Just a little update, I have been back at school for a week, I'm gonna be getting more homework next week so I'm gonna be super busy. It's also my birthday in 8 days so I'm looking forward to that. I'm just about to get in the warm bath with a bathbomb and then I think I might watch a movie, probably iron man 1 if I can find it!

some warm milk or tea, a stuffie companion, a big comfy blanket & a soft pillow

🍼step one: make your favourite comforting drink and have some sips to make you feel warm and cozy.

🧦step two: hop into bed with some fuzzy socks and a big warm blanket & pillow.

🎶step three: play your favourite lullaby in the background quietly. (If you don’t like lullabies you can play some white noise or whatever sound puts you to sleep!)

🧸step four: give your stuffie a big goodnight hug and close your eyes.
