When both your father and your uncle are DJ’s, it’s seems inevitable you would become a DJ too. But Brenecia Rueben didn’t set out to follow in their footsteps. She came into the profession organically, inspired by her love for indie rock and MTV.

Now spinning disks as Luxe Posh, she’s known throughout the triangle area as one of the best in the biz. Hear it for yourself by tuning in to her show, High Frequencies, every Thursday evening from 7-9 PM right before UTI. 

Her playlist included some of her all-time favorite songs that, she regrets, don’t often fit into her DJ sets.  Each one holds a special memory that moves her to this day.
