Hope would be very nervous to reveal this part of herself. She wouldn't know how you'd react and would wait until she knew she could trust you with anything.

There would be small signs about her age regression that you would pick up on before she told you, but you couldn't quite figure out what they meant.

You'd be the most supportive girlfriend when she finally does tell you.

She would be radiating with anxiety the whole time and the dam boke once you showed your support and love to her of it.

You would hold her in your arms the entire night afterwards and get to meet her little self.

She would be the absolute cutest when she's little.

When she regresses, she'd regress to a mindset of anywhere from less than a year old to four years old.

You'd be the only one to know about this part of herself. And you'd make sure to keep that secret.

After some time, Hope would begin to call you 'Mama' and 'Mommy'. - Which would make you happier than you think you've ever been.

She would love to play and cuddle with you, do basically anything with you really since she's been by herself ever since she started age regressing.

She started a couple months after her mom and dad died. And it was freeing for her to say the least.

Instead of feeling like an outside like before, Hope would feel like she wasn't anything less when you're always there for her.

You'd get Hope a stuffed wolf that resembled her wolf form and she'd love it so much and never want it to leave her site.

^It'd be her favorite toy out of everything and would cling to it in and out of little space.

You would do small, fun and creative spells to lift Hope's mood when she's little and she'd absolutely adore it.

She wouldn't wear much 'little clothing' per say, but she would wear more comfy and soft clothing.

Her little self absolutely adores you and always likes to copy you doing small things like how you flip through grimoires or even how you brush your hair.

^You'd find it so cute and endearing.

When she's regressed really young and toddler aged, she'd love to be bottle fed. And you feeding her her bottle would be one of her favorite night time activities.

Whenever you'd notice her start to drop in classes instead of her trying to find her own excuse on why she needs to leave, you'd whisk her out of there with you.

^There may or may not be spells involved to make sure the teachers don't pry, thanks to you. And Hope would be a little disapproving but thankful for you doing that.

Summary: You and Hope dye your guys' hair when everyone's out.

"Y/n/n, Y/n/n, Y/n/n! I know what we should do today" Hope comes running into your room and jumps on your bed where you're reading Twisted Love. You look over to your 12-year-old sister and put your book to the side.

"What do you have in mind?" You ask. "We should dye our hair," She tells you. "Hmm, Hayley and Dad will definitely have something to say. And Uncle Elijah will probably say something along the lines of us having demonic tendencies. So, of course, we'd be fools to not dye our hair." You smirk at her.

"Yes!" She climbs off the bed. "What's that book about?" She asks you.

"Let's go get the dye" You lead her out of your room. If you ever tell your little sister the truth about what the books you read are about, you pity her ears and thoughts. So better left untouched.

You guys go to the closest store and buy a box of bright pink hair dye.

"Okay, so how are we gonna do this, whole head, highlights, or a couple streaks?" You pull out the bottle of dye and the brush applier it comes with out of the box.

"Umm, how about a couple streaks on each side" She tells you. "Good choice" You pass her a towel, "Here, put this around your shoulders and sit backward on the toilet.

She nods and follows your directions, sitting in the opposite direction on the closed toilet, and lays the towel around her shoulders under her hair.

You finish reading the directions, "Okay, seems easy enough. Let's do this" You squeeze the pink dye into the plastic bowl.

You apply the bright pink hair dye into a couple parts of her hair on each side. "Aaand, done. Now, you just gotta sit here for thirty minutes before rinsing it out" You tell her. "Okay." You set a timer, and then start on your own hair.

Once you both have washed your hair out, and blow dry your hair. Looking in the mirror, you both have huge smiles on your faces.

"We look awesome!" Hope tells you. "How could we not? We're amazing" You tickle her sides, making her screeche out a chuckle.

You guys are sitting on your bed, Hope leaning into your side. Your arm is wrapped around her, your hand rubbing up and down her shoulder. You guys are peacefully watching TV until Hayley walks into your room.

"Well, something definitely happened while we were away" Hayley pauses, noticing your guys' dyed hair.

"Something fun," Hope tells her mom. "Ahuh, please don't tell me that's permanent" Hayley looks over at you.

"Huh, I forgot to check the box," You say, making a thinking face. Seeing Hayley's eyes widen and her eyebrows raise up, you let out a chuckle. "Don't worry, Hayls, It washes out in some months" You tell her. "Plus, we look adorable" You kiss the top of Hope's head, making her chuckle.

Sexuality Headcanon: lesbian! @all men LEAVE HER ALONE. that means you ezra!! Gender Headcanon: cis female, uses she/her pronouns. i A ship I have with said character: every single girl she interacts with an no man ever. sparia and arison are probably my two faves for her, though. A BROTP I have with said character: all of the liars, but i also enjoy her friendship with holden and i feel like she has a couple of nice scenes with caleb and maya. i always like it when they show characters being friends with their friends signifcant others. A NOTP I have with said character: e*zria. LEAVE HER ALONE. the fact that they get married.. ugh. A random headcanon: i feel like i can see her getting really into designing tattoos as a hobby. idk why all my headcanons have been tattoo based so far. General Opinion over said character: i think she's far more fascinating (and more sympathetic tbh) than fandom at large gives her credit for, and it is absolutely devastating to me that she ends the show married to a man who stalked, groomed, and abused her. anyway.

Sexuality Headcanon: i think she's canonically bi? even though the writers never actually wanted to give her a female love interest. (not that someone has to be dating someone of the same gender to BE bi ofc. it just. feels like the writers paid lip service to hope being Queer Represntation as a little pat on the head for fans but they never seriously considered pursuing a love story outside of landon for her, even if she eventually came back to him. anyway bi queen <3 Gender Headcanon: honestly i could see nonbinary they/them hope. but my gender and sexuality headcanons truly tends to be whatever feels right at any given moment. A ship I have with said character: i feel like legacies is really ripe for multishipping. my first and probably still biggest ship is hosie, and despite that huge rant, i don't hate handon lmao, or handosie <3. but i also enjoy hizzie and hafael and cleo x hope. A BROTP I have with said character: hope and mg... we should have gotten more of them <333 A NOTP I have with said character: alaric x hope, which apparently is a thing for some people? and like i am not an anti and people can ship what they want but it is Not For Me. A random headcanon: hope does a lot of world traveling after the show and goes to lots of fun art museums!! General Opinion over said character: i really like a lot of what they tried to do with her when it came to her grief for her parents and how that made her especially protective of/worried about losing landon specifically, even though at times it did feel like the show came too much about that for my taste. i have some issues with the tvdu's no humanity mechanism honestly (it does not make sense. also it feels a little weird and ableist to imply that people who don't experience emotions or are experiencing them differently are less human. but i digress), but i think what they did with for hope's character in s4 and how it was triggered by landon's death but truly just showed how she'd been struggling for a long time and needed healing for more reasons than just that was interesting. even if the execution of her story didn't always land right for me, i appreciate what they were trying to do.

Hope knows Lizzie better than anyone else, which makes her the perfect caregiver. They’re a good match because neither are very touchy feely, cuddly. They need quiet time to decompress. Hope creates sensory bins for Lizzie to play with. She helps her keep her magic under control. But she also makes sure Lizzie knows all her anxiety and sensory problems are very normal.

While Lizzie doesn’t have too many toys, she is so excited when Hope gets her a ball pit. She’ll spend hours in there. Hope also lets her wear fuzzy socks, which help keep her calm.

@anxietytold, hope mikaelson sent: everyone's asleep and in all fairness , hope should be as well . instead , she hops out of bed and silently moves into her mother's room , taking the cellphone off of the nightstand and tiptoeing back out . she's quick to run to her room , climbing back into bed in the dark . the little girl lays down , pulling the blankets over her head with the only light source being the phone screen illuminating the makeshift fort as she taps on her uncle's contact to video call him .

tiredness isn't something that happens to kol often. well, vampires rarely sleep at night. but there is something in his mind that made him wonders, why does this feel like there is something going on at home when he's not around? it wasn't easy to put the past in the past. especially since he left new orleans, he couldn't help but think about what his siblings were doing there. vvvvdid he miss the environment? yes. especially when his little partner in crime was growing up by the looks of it. the pictures that hayley and rebekah send him warms his heart. their little moment on the phone when she wants to know secrets while she's still too little to care. drinking a cup of fresh blood, he couldn't help but pick up his phone that had rung, smiling when he saw that it was a video call, he put his cup down as he picked up the call.
