I’ve put off posting this for months because I wanted to find my comics so I could talk about how she fits into this one story wise, but I’ve officially given up on that so AT LONG LAST here’s Lauren in The Midnight Giant!

Comic Lauren is younger and a little less mature than her show counterpart, she has less of a parental role towards Hilda and enjoys messing with her. She’s considered a lot less…reliable by her mother. But she genuinely tries, she does everything she can to help her family and prove to her Mum that she’s capable, but that’s a little hard when Johanna’s focus is on Hilda’s shenanigans so often…

I'm honestly so sad abt doing this after all these years but I've gotta close ko-fi requests 😔 I really can't justify the time I spend on them against the amount I earn on them ): it's been fine before but as I'm goin into my last year of uni I need to get a better balance between uni work and art-money work. on this, commissions are getting an overhaul in the coming weeks bc I know I'm super undercharging lmao which I can't keep up, bc again, I've gotta try not to fail my degree while also making sure art is a viable side hustle loll.

I may open kofi reqs again when I've got more time (or failing that make them a part of kofi memberships at some point)!!! but for now rip kofi reqs ): (my kofi will obvs stay open for support and -- if you want smthn back for ur support -- kofi membership early access!!)

HOWEVER in better news with my commissions overhaul I'm gonna be opening a new, cheaper type of commission so hopefully that'll be a nice balance for everyone!

got one last request to finish and it's a big'un so should be a nice sendoff to kofi requests!! hopefully done by tomorrow

a little bit mad that the Expensive Korean Skincare Product I purchased on a whim is actually making my skin noticeably clearer. me insisting for years that skincare is a sham and cheap facewash and moisturizer is all you need and now look at me. it comes with a tiny little shovel to scoop out the correct amount. I feel like an annoying YouTuber every time I wash my face. my face which has never felt better because of this stupid Expensive Korean Skincare Product

#no I will not tell you what it’s called mostly because it doesn’t say on the bottle and I threw away the little box it came in #this has been a post #okay the like. the fact that my skin looks better isn’t nothing because I do live in the world #but genuinely. my skin is soft and not oily or dry #which has been such an issue for me #I’ve tried. everything that is less than $15 in the drugstore #I’ve tried stuff for oily skin for dry skin for combination skin #I’ve tried stuff from the natural section I’ve tried stuff with all the right acids and whatnot #n like the toner and moisturizer I’m using is still the cheap drugstore stuff the only difference is Expensive Korean Cleanser #I don’t even remember how expensive it was I just know it was more than I would normally spend on skin stuff #starting to wonder if I should be paying $30 for shampoo. my hair is nice but it could be nicer …….
