Redid my Empires season 1 Joel, easily my favorite perspective to watch
While I DO understand the point of the full British suit. I hate it and I wanted to do smthn different
So I took inspiration from Arabic Sultans as well as the Anasazi tribes (the ppl who built the Mesa-Verde ), I wanted to give a colorful but sharp and prideful air to him, sort of like a flashy bird
So mostly pinks, blues, and greens that would stand out strongly against the dusty oranges of the Mesa, as he wants to be seen EASY. His main color is the pinkish-purple of his original jacket w/ complementaries of the yellow and green, with blue to add visual diversity. The patterns are inspired off of north-mexican native weaving patterns & Arabic geometric architecture, but heavily simplified
He has pearls littered around his clothes from Lizzie bc he loves her <33 he has a leaf on his head that he insists is normal and natural bc he doesn't believe in magic (he also ignores his enchanted items)
Joel is also actually usually really dirty/dusty, and he takes extreme care to be presentable to any other rulers, he goes thru like 7 pairs of gloves a day cus they get stained real easily
He's very strong tho, from carrying all the clay/concrete, he can pick up lizzie no probles 💪💪 may redraw Joey next idk

i sincerely believe the snippet that we see of scott and joel absolutely destroying each other every end-of-life-series is evidence for my working theory that without a jimmy in the pack the empires boys will immediately turn to violence and cannibalism and have a pigs head on a stick by monday
thinking about how terrifying a scott/joel team up would be if they didn't want to shove eachother down a toilet

hey babe!!
i was thinking maybe protective!gf!reader x rafe, where they’re at the kegger together and a random girl starts clinging onto rafe, not knowing you’re his girlfriend and reader throws some punches
i live for protective reader oml🙇🏻‍♀️
learn your place
rafe cameron x fem!pogue!reader
summary: you teach a kook girl her place.
warnings: swearing, violence, fluff, rafe is proud af
sorry this took forever </3, also not proof read
Tumblr media
the way your stomach turned over when you walked into the kegger with your long-term boyfriend, Rafe Cameron, was enough to shoot some red flags.
hundreds of kooks were on the Lighthouse Preserve, dozens of red solo cups littered onto the sand.
you were the only pogue who came to these parties, not really because you wanted to, but because Rafe had asked.
and unfortunately, whenever those baby-blue eyes looked pleadingly at you, you always seemed to cave.
“what’s up, Cameron?” Topper asked loudly, dapping up Rafe as you stood beside your tall boyfriend.
Kelce did the same to Rafe, before turning to give you a side-hug. “hey, future Mrs. Cameron.”
you playfully rolled your eyes at the nickname. “yeah yeah, shut up.”
you felt Rafe’s fingers interlock yours, pulling you into his side. more people came over to greet you, and the stares some of the kook girls were giving you were a nightmare.
you didn’t want to be one of them, and maybe that’s why they hated you so much. and maybe the fact you were dating the ‘Kook Prince’.
“let’s go get a drink.” Rafe said to you, holding you close to him as he walked over to the keg, supervised by some other guys you’ve never seen before.
as they pour you and Rafe a drink, you narrow your eyes at a short blonde who is drunkenly giggling at Rafe.
the sparkle in her blue eyes almost made you sick. you felt Rafe’s grip tighten around your waist, kissing your temple as he mumbled into your ear, “relax, baby. you look like you’re gonna kill someone.”
while you knew he was joking, you pressed your lips together and began to chug the beer.
➽───────────────────❥
a few hours later, you wandered around trying to find a bathroom. Rafe wanted to go with you, but you insisted that you were a big girl.
you finally found a little outhouse. after a couple moments, you walked back to the party, desperate to find hand sanitizer.
one of the only nice girls, Lizzie, happened to have cherry scented sanitizer. while you rubbed the liquid into your palms, your eyes looked around for your boyfriend.
the same blonde girl from earlier was holding onto his muscled bicep, trying to get his attention. the poor girl looked desperate, as Rafe wasn’t even acknowledging she was there.
Topper and Kelce looked uncomfortable, knowing all too well of your protectiveness of Rafe, and how badly you were going to kick the shit out of this chick.
“you can’t find any other guys to hang onto? or do you look for specifically taken ones?” your voice sent goosebumps down her tan skin as she drunkenly stared at you.
“excuse you?” she asked, trying to raise her voice, one that sounded almost babyish.
“i know my boyfriend is hot, but girl if you think holding onto him is going to catch his attention then you’re damn wrong.” you snapped, your blood boiling from her ‘pick me’ behavior.
“Rafey- this crazy girl is trying to fight me.” the girl looked up at Rafe, a forced pout on her face. you cringed at the nickname she gave your man.
Rafe just now seemed to be aware of the situation, as he tugged the girl off of him. “who the fuck is Rafey?” he laughed, his eyes shining as he turned his head to look at you.
you looked exactly like how he described earlier, like you were going to kill someone.
Topper and Kelce immediately downed their beers, knowing what was going to happen next. and while Rafe did too, he didn’t really care too much to stop it.
“you’re going to pick some… poor slut over me!” the girl whined, stomping her foot.
Rafe’s jaw dropped slightly, but before he could defend you, you had already shot your fist forward.
a loud crack was heard as your knuckles came in contact with her nose, shattering the bone. people from around moved into a circle, some recording as you moved forward again.
blood was gushing down from her nose, tears pouring from her eyes as you pushed her backwards.
rage filled your body, the alcohol pumping pure adrenaline through your system as you straddled her, throwing punch after punch onto her face.
your head was ringing, and you barely felt Rafe’s arms scoop you up. you kicked out, kicking the girl in the boob. you managed to get out of Rafe’s grasp.
“how’s that for a poor slut, huh? stay away from my man, bitch!” you shout, impulsively spitting on the girl as Rafe grabbed you once more.
“alright, baby. this isn’t Jersey Shore.” Rafe joked, pulling your body into his. your head rested against his chest, hearing his pounding heartbeat.
your own heartbeat matched his, the adrenaline beginning to wear off. you recognized the aching in your hands, your knuckles bruised and bloody.
Rafe helped you onto the little speedboat you two arrived in, turning the engine on. while Rafe was silent, you sat on the couch with your head in your hands.
your head ached with a migraine. the loud sound of the motor wasn’t exactly helpful, either.
the ride home was silent, except for the sound of the motor against the water. when Rafe pulled up to your dock, he tied off the boat.
“let’s get my girl cleaned up.”
Rafe said gently, walking in front of you. he opened the door to your run-down house, knowing where the first aid kit is.
there’s been multiple occasions of either you or Rafe getting into fights, so it became routine for the both of you.
as you put the toilet seat down, you sat on the lid as Rafe sat on the edge of the bathtub.
“damn, y/n. you might’ve broken a knuckle.”
Rafe comments, cleaning the blood up with rubbing alcohol. you hissed at the sting, shaking your leg. the motion caused his leg to shake too, before he trapped your legs between his thighs.
“stop moving, mama. let me take care of you.”
his words were gentle, soft. as he put gauze and bandages over your knuckles, you followed him into the kitchen where he grabbed two bags of frozen peas.
he placed them gingerly on your bones, careful not to hurt you.
“i’m sorry i hit her. so many fucking times…” you mumble.
Rafe lets out a soft chuckle, kissing your forehead.
“when will these kook girls learn their place?” he jokes, making you smile as you kissed his lips feverishly.

Hi, I was thinking Hope x Reader. Where Lizzie was a doing a spell and accidentally hit reader turning her into a baby. In the room, Hope heard crying and she found the baby.
Vampire to Baby
Tumblr media
Female vampire reader x Hope Mikaelson
Warnings: none
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hope runs into Lizzie and Josie's room with Josie as soon as they hear the high-pitched crying of a baby. "What's going on- oh my god" Josie froze under the door frame.
Hope's eyes widen, walking towards where Lizzie is holding a wailing baby girl, close to tears herself as she tries calming the baby down. "Where did you get a baby?" Hope asks the blonde.
"Okay, so don't freak out, but I was experimenting with a spell and..."
Five minutes prior
"What are you planning to do with that anyway?" You look up from your magazine. motioning to the papers splayed out with spell work in progress.
"I want to turn things back in time, like if someone knocks a glass of juice over, the spell reverses it," Lizzie grumbles, the spell not working for the fourth time. She cleans up the spilled water on the ground with a towel.
"Okayyy, fifth time's the charm" Lizzie mumbles before chanting the spell in a different order this time.
"Nothing happened, ughhh" Lizzie groans and throws her head back. Her head snaps back up as soon as she hears the tiniest little whimper coming from where you were lying down on her bed.
She looks over to the bed and lets out an audible gasp. A few seconds later, tears start to run down your small cheeks. She now has a de-aged vampire who so happens to also be her best friend.
"You turned my girlfriend into a baby?!" Hope exclaims, taking a closer look at you.
"Now, don't be mad" Lizzie winces at the look on Hope's face. "It was an accident."
"My vampire girlfriend is now a baby" Hope stated, eyes blazing.
Josie composes herself and walks over to her twin and best friend. "Okay, before anything worse happens, how about we calm her down" Josie nods at you, tears still rolling down your face.
"Don't you think I've been trying to do that? It's not working!" Lizzie tells them while giving a look and bouncing you in her arms.
"Give her over" Hope sighs. And Lizzie happily passes you into the tribrid's arms. As soon as you're rested against her chest, your
"Rude. tell us she's your favorite without telling us" Lizzie crosses her arms.
"Okay, Hope, you look after y/n/n. Lizzie and I will find a way to reverse the spell. Come on" Josie leads her twin over to the desk with littered papers.
Hope nods and clutches you tighter in her hold, walking over to your guys' room across the hall.
"You're a really cute baby, ya know?" Hope coos. You reach up your tiny hand and clutches onto a wave of her hair. She examines you as you play with her hair. You're so tiny and small, and so vulnerable.
She hugs you closer to her, not wanting you near any danger. Since this school is like a magnet for dangerous things.
You blabber incoherent things as you snuggle into the older girl's chest. You like her, she's warm and you feel safe around her.
Hope looks around the room and lands on the cd player on the dresser. You insisted on keeping the player after finding it in a box of old 'junk' Alaric was going to throw away. Plus you had a bunch of cds anyways. And you argue a lot with Lizzie that cds are a better form of music than on a phone, but then again you weren't a child when cds were being used, unlike all of them.
"Hey, you wanna listen to some music?" She asks animaticaly. You gurgle in excitement, and Hope takes that as a yes.
She walks over the wooden dresser and turns the power button then the play button. And in a couple seconds, the intro to 'oops I did it again' plays. That must have been the last cd and song you were listening to. Hope chuckles at how you always blast either this song or 'you give love a bad name' to get her out of bed in the morning.
You giggle and start kicking your legs excitedly, liking the music. Hope chuckles and kisses the top of your head. She then has an idea and starts carefully spinning and dancing around the room to the song with you held in her grasp.
Hope carries you down to the dining hall/room. It's been a couple hours and she's been getting hungry, and she could also tell you're hungry as well.
You hide your face in her chest when someone walks up to you two. "Hey MG" Hope smiles, cradling one of her hands on the back if your head.
"Hey. What's with the baby?" He asks, his eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. "Oh, uh, just babysitting, yeah...um, bye!" Hope comes up with a lie quickly before walking away, eyes widened. For being the one and only tribrid (vamp side not activated yet), she sure sucks at lying.
She walks over to the table of all the trays and places two plates on a tray. As she piles on food onto both the plates, she can feel eyes on her. So she quickly grabs utensils before walking as fast as she can with a baby and a tray of food up to your guys' room.
"Alright, food time" Hope sighs, sitting on the bed, against the headboard with the food in front of her. She grabbed lots of napkins, knowing there's going to be some kind of mess made.
"You look at the plates of food and clap your hands together before reaching towards the fruit cup on one of the plates.
Hope picks the fruit cup and a spoon up and starts to feed you. You munch on the strawberries, watermelon, and grapes happily. She watches as you eat the fruit, using her other hand to feed herself a piece of pizza as well.
Just as she lifted the spoon to feed you a grape, the door slammed open, presenting the twin siphoners. They quickly make their way inside, shutting the door behind them.
"We found a reversal spell" Josie tells hope and starts to explain what it intails.
"Okay, let's do it" Hope gently lifts you up off her lap and into the middle of the bed. You look up at her, confused, as she moves the food tray over to her desk.
She holds out her hands, inviting the two girls to siphon off her. They immediately grasp her hands and start to change the spell. Hope follows with after hearing the verse the first time.
In no time the spell took affect and where there used to be a baby you, is now a full grown vampire you. They all let out a simultaneous sigh of relief the spell worked.
"What the bloody hell happened?" You groan, standing up from the bed.
"Hah, so funny story..." Lizzie scratches the back of her neck.
hold steady ; steve harrington
synopsis: life has hit you hard since the events of spring break. but the softness of steve reminds you that you’re not alone, & that you shouldn’t be ashamed for how you’re handling everything.
warnings: post-season 4 setting, descriptions of grief & guilt, mental health issues & trauma, written with fem!reader in mind (but can apply to other identities too)
inspired by role model’s song “so far gone” feat. lizzy mcalpine!
Tumblr media
you’re being dramatic you internally told yourself in the mirror, trying to make yourself believe the statement.
you weren’t sure what time it was. it felt like you were in limbo; somewhere between midnight & sunrise. the house was quiet aside from the soft hum of the cold air passing through the vents. you tried making the sound of it louder in your head in hopes it’d ground you. but it wasn’t working.
so you continued to stand in the bathroom with the nightlight plugged into the wall, staring at yourself in the mirror’s reflection. you couldn’t get over how different you looked now in comparison to who you were before spring break. something inside you seemed to have died a bit more than last summer, & you could tell from whatever aura you were emitting.
you had originally came in to wash your face after one of your bad dreams; to remind yourself that you’re in the present & you’re safe & that the past can’t hurt you anymore—at least that’s what your therapist wants you to do, but it doesn’t help as much as you wished it would. you just hoped the sound of the sink running wouldn’t have woken steve up.
he’s been in a bad place like you, despite how hard he’s working to help rebuild hawkins. with soup kitchens, garage & yard sales, donation boxes littered at every street corner, & community programs that have emerged since hawkins was practically ripped apart, steve’s been doing what he can to help. you know steve’s good heart, so you weren’t surprised with how involved he’s been. but you also know how his tiredness has been eating him alive, interfering with his sleep & energy when he’s home. tonight was the first night he feel asleep at before eleven pm, & you wanted to keep it that way.
if crying in the bathroom while clutching the counter meant that steve could continue sleeping without having to help someone else when he needs rest, you’d do it.
luckily most of your crying was silent except when the occasional hiccup or whimper escaped your lips. you tried keeping it together, but it was hard—holding it all in. the weight on your chest was excruciating, but you’ve been through this so much since spring break so you knew you could handle it.
you just needed to hold onto the counter tighter to stay upright & it would pass, right?
moments later, when another shaky breath was exhaled, you could hear a door creak open from the hallway, footsteps padding slowly along the soft cream carpet flooring, getting closer to where you were.
“y/n/n?” you heard a groggy voice say from behind the door, in search of you.
you tried staying quiet, hoping he’d just go back to bed because you didn’t want to talk about it, but you knew he wouldn’t. steve insisted he slept better with you beside him.
“ya’in there?” he asked, his bent index & middle fingers knocked on the door gently.
you closed your eyes shut, feeling the weight on your chest pang heavier. “i-i’ll be back in a minute” you said as clear as you could, but the strain in your voice wasn’t convincing.
steve knew you, & sometimes you hated it.
“can i… can i come in?” he hesitated, afraid of scaring you away.
you didn’t have to say anything because you knew he’d come in aways, finding you with your head hung low & knuckles white from your grip on the counter.
he didn’t have to say anything either as he came closer, his warm touch infiltrating your space as you felt his chest press into your spine, head nuzzling into your shoulder while his arms wrapped around your stomach. the feeling of him made you choke out a sob. you felt like you didn’t deserve his sweetness (your brain was lying to you)
“you don’t have to do this alone. unless you want to” he mumbled into your shoulder, treading carefully because he knew your pain all too well. it’s a hard thing to navigate & he doesn’t want you to feel cornered.
you shivered, tensing up again until you reminded yourself that it’s just steve, that he loves you, that you don’t need to hide—but it just feels like the opposite.
“i know” you said unevenly, breathing in but whimpering when your chest tightened uncomfortably. “everything is just… hard” was the best way you could put it.
steve nodded against you, kissing your shoulder as a way to tell you that he knows, that he hears you.
“i don’t want to feel this way forever” you cried, head dropping low again as your eyes pinched shut. “i just want to go back to before so badly. w-we don’t deserve this—all the shit we’ve dealt with—it’s so unfair” you begin to shake, chest raising up & down with a little more speed than before. the scars of your body burned with each passing second, as if they were fresh from the claws of demo dogs & demo bats—flashes from the past you wish wouldn’t play in your brain.
with tears blurring your sight, you didn’t fight it when steve peeled your hands away from the counter, when he turned you to face him, or when he pulled you tightly to his chest, letting your face press into the crook of his neck & your hands bunch up the material of his t-shirt.
“i know, baby. we shouldn’t have gone through it. it isn’t fair at all” steve agrees, shutting his eyes & letting out a shaky sigh into your hair because he feels the same way.
he feels the same anger & frustration & emptiness that you do. hell, he knows the whole party does too. it’s just how it is.
steve lets you cry as much as you need, lets you grip his back to hold steady & dampen his t-shirt because it helps remind him that you’re still here, that you didn’t face the fate that many others did during spring break & long before. that he still has you to love & work through the mass amounts of grief & fear that are still embedded inside you both.
“i’m sorry for waking you up” you sniffled loudly. “i know you’re exhausted”.
“don’t be. y’needed me. i sensed it” he mainly said the last bit to make you scoff, laugh or anything of the sort. but it was true—he swore he had a sixth sense for you.
lifting your head back, brushing the tear stains from your eyes with the backs of your hands, steve rubbed your back with his finger pads. he knows that it’s calming for you. “i dunno what’s wrong with me” your lips frowned as you looked at him, his eyes shining a tiny bit from the nightlight. he began to frown too at your statement.
“i feel like i can’t get back to normal. l-like i’m broken—can’t move on like everyone else is…” you admitted, trying to find comfort in steven’s repetitive touches.
“you’re not broken,” steve started, moving a hand to hold your cheek, thumb smoothing against your skin. “you’re just healing. & no one expects you to be fine—i’m sure as hell not” he assured you, heart melting when you leaned into his hand.
opening your mouth to speak, the words won’t come out, as if they were stuck in your throat. so steve continued.
“what you went through…,” his bottom lip trembled at the thought, memories of all the blood & screaming & fear racing back. “you didn’t deserve any of it. i-if i could take that pain away, i would—in a heartbeat. b-but i can’t” his tone sounded defeated.
“i wish i could take yours away too” you breathed out, raising one of your hands up to run through his hair.
there was always a part of steve that blamed himself for what you went through. you had a part of you that felt the same thing.
“you always tell me that things take time—that as each day goes by, we’ll feel a little less hurt, a bit stronger than before,” he looked deep into your eyes, leaning his head closer to yours. “we just have to believe it. even if it feels like a lie sometimes” you nodded your head in agreement.
collapsing back into steve’s chest, you smiled a bit when you felt his cheek press into your hair. “i hope me talking about my shit isn’t like weighing you down, you know? ‘cause i know you have your own stuff—“
“hey, hey, hey,” he pulled you back, both of his hands holding your face now. “none of that, okay? i want you to talk to me about this stuff—about anything you feel. i don’t hide from you, so you don’t gotta hide from me” he said sweetly but firmly, kissing your forehead before you could blink.
you couldn’t control the tears that brimmed your eyes, or the shaky sigh that left your lips at his words. you felt extremely lucky.
“i think i’m gonna need you to remind me of that sometimes. is that okay?” you asked, hands resting atop of steve’s chest while his brushed more of your tears away. the pain in your chest didn’t fully disappear, but it was better than nothing.
“i’m more than okay with that” he smiled, pulling your face closer to his so he could kiss you, hoping it could melt away some of your pain for the night.
not long after, steve led you back to bed, just like you did for him the other night when he too had a meltdown. he pulled you to his chest when you both had settled under the comforter, your breath fanning his neck as you shut your eyes, trying to focus on the good & not the bad.
“i love you” you whispered in the dark, pressing a kiss to the skin of his collarbone.
he felt his heart skip a beat. “i love you too”.
Oil is Thicker Then Blood (Part 82)
The pod now lay in peices, a small team of drones hovering over each section, taking note of the way it was designed and more importantly why, so that it could be properly emulated then construction began on the proper escape shuttle.
That's what Uzi was doing now, sitting on a chair in the outdoor workshop that one of her team insisted she sit on instead of standing, and thinking realistically on what they would need to escape Copper- 9's gravity well safely and, more than that land somewhere else without being cooked in the atmosphere.
Aluminum, lots of it, first and foremost, it was the lightest metal they had on hand, and thankfully, present in the vehicles that littered the roads, the bunker had a forge, it was offline at the moment (because they had no use for an industrial grade forge) but it shouldn't be too difficult to reactivate. They had enough solid fuel to keep it running temporarily… just long enough to see this through.
N and V could both lift cars with ease, so getting the burned out vehicles into the bunker was also a non-issue, so at the very least, they had that covered.
Oxygen wasn't needed, Drones didn't need to breathe, she… could breathe, but it seemed like she didn't really need to all the time if her vents could get enough air into her system unaided, it was only went she was doing something laborus or anxiety inducing would they really start going. They need some sort of air though… so it will have to be pressurized in some way.
Khan would probably be in charge of that, pressurized doors sounded right up his area of expertise, so she filed that away for something to give to him.
Next came recharging, it was probably a good idea to reuse the standing charge pods that were present in the landing pods, it would be uncomfortable sure… but it would save on space and weight.
With all that in mind, she began a preliminary sketch, trying to fit in as many charging pods in as little space as she physically could, the bigger the shuttle, the longer it would take to construct and the harder it would be to get out of the planets gravity.
The gravity wasn't very strong… lacking a core would do that, but light was best regardless.
“Liz, I'm not going to ask you to do this… it's more my responsibility…” She heard V's voice from outside the building, sounding wary and tired.
“Hell no, girl you are not claiming sole responsibility. We're all part of this now. May as well own it.” And that was Lizzy, Uzi grumbled lightly, glad that Tera was with N at the moment.
“Heeeey.” Lizzy poked her head into the doorway, it now had a sheet over it to keep out some of the draft, Uzi shivered slightly as the freezing wind hit her silicone, her core fluttering in displeasure.
“What?” Uzi asked gruffly, not wanting to really interact with her, she wouldn't call them enemies now, but a “freind” was probably still a bit of a stretch.
Even so Lizzy trapised up right to her side, V following close behind, arms crossed and looking like she'd just lost a fight with a bear.
Lizzy, the bear in question, leaned on the table in front of Uzi, quiet for a moment, V's eyes never left her, as if begging her to not do whatever she was about to.
“So V said you and N have a nest.” She started, making Uzi freeze up for a moment, feeling the embarrassment crawl up her back before shoving it down, there was nothing embarrassing about it.
“Yes.” She said simply, turning her head up from her very important work that she would very much like it get back to. Lizzy made no indication that she was phased by it.
“And that she's been sleeping in it for the past couple of days.”
Uzi blinked. Was… was Lizzy jealous? Of V sleeping in N and hers nest? Oh! Oh that was hilarious!
“Mmmhm?” A small smirk made it's way to her face, Lizzy didn't seem to notice it.
“Great! You won't mind a fourth then right?”
And suddenly the smirk was gone, and she heard V let out the world's most ‘done with this woman’ sigh she'd ever heard.
“Uh, Yes I do mind! Why do you even want to?!” Uzi exclaimed, sketch now long forgotten due to the audacity of this woman! Uzi didn't ask if she could sleep in Lizzy's bedroom, what gave the right for Lizzy to?
“Because V thinks it's her job and only her job to take care of you when N isn't around, and that's not right when I'm right here!” She pointed to herself, flipping her hair like she was the obvious choice.
“I don't need taken care of. I'm fine! I don't need all of you doting on me!” Uzi snapped, standing up quickly in protest… too quickly, her vison blurred for a moment as she was hit with vertigo, swaying and holding her head for a moment.
Lizzy steadied her on one side, V on the other, Uzi grumbled, leaning more into V automaticaly when her lovely warmth washed over her.
“Uh huh, face it girl, you need help and you can't hog my…” V looked at her, blushing furiously as she made a cutting motion with her hand.
“B-bestie all to yourself.” Lizzy finished with a stammer and a wild blush, Uzi rolled her eyes, why did they even try to hide it anymore? It was so obvious it hurt. Her and N weren't this bad. Right?
“Bite me. Both of you.” She grumbled, but her body betrayed her by purring loudly when she felt V pet her head gently, making Lizzy giggle and Uzi blush madly.
“Uh, Uzi?” The three girls turned around, Thad poking his head into the room with a sheepish smile on his face, his eyebrow raised as if he was asking a question.
“No.” Uzi groaned, but it clearly didn't matter, she felt Lizzy nod and then punch V in the arm, and she nodded as well. “NO.” She said more sternly, she wanted the nest to be private!
And yet… that daybreak the nest was full of all six of them, N and Herself, sleeping in the middle with Tera between them, V and Lizzy, curled up next to each other, V's tail and arm wrapped around her protectively, and Thad passed out in a corner, snoring like a freight train…
And she slept like a baby…
could you do judy alvarez smut?? i love your work but i havent seen a single person write about her so pretty please 🙏🙏
YES OF COURSE I CAN !!!
smut. 18+ pls.
do not repost for any reason.
judy spends too much of her time working on brain dances. you get it, its her job and she was lucky enough to make a career out of something she loved doing so much, but that meant she was always at her desk. either at lizzies or her apartment, it didn’t matter. it meant that a lot of her time was spent away from you.
today was no different, you had found yourself in an empty apartment after work once again. you were frustrated, it had been days since you had fucked her and you were growing desperate. you were only home for 10 minutes before you were heading to lizzies, your need for the girl growing stronger as you got closer.
you exchanged quick words with the girls, in too much of a rush to actually talk to them. you walked through the familiar corridors, pushing past customers and workers until you were practically running down the stairs leading to her office. your eyes landed on judy, she was focused on the screens in front of her, but at the sound of your entrance, she turns to face you.
“hey, i didn’t know you were coming by, what’s up?” she smiles at you and god did you miss it.
“judy.” she stands from her chair at the tone of your voice. it was as if you were about to deliver the worst news of her life to her. she makes her way to you, reaching out to hold your wrist.
“hey, what’s going on?” you cave, pulling her in for a kiss. your hands grip her shirt desperately, pulling her impossibly closer. her hands find your hips out of habit. you let your hands roam around her body, groping her tits the second your hands meet them. she groans against your lips, pulling back slightly, her forehead resting against yours. “baby,” she breathes out, pulling away slightly.
“just need you so bad, judy,” you whine out, pushing her back until her legs hit her chair. you climb into her lap, hips rolling against her thighs as your lips meet hers again. her hands grip your waist, another groan falling against your lips.
she squeezes your ass, pulling you to grind against her thigh. “god, didn’t know you needed me this badly. why didn’t you say anything?” her fingers toy with the waistband of your pants before she tugs at them. you stand, pulling them off.
“can’t say anything if you’re never home when i am. needed you so bad, jude,” your bare cunt meets her leather pants and you whine. her hands are back on you in an instant, her fingers swiping through your folds.
“sorry,” she whispers out, fingers prodding at your entrance.
“fuck me and i’ll consider accepting your apology.” and she does. her fingers sink into your entrance, her thumb circling your clit gently. you hiss at the feeling, the ache between your thighs finally getting dealt with.
judy’s quick to leave deep marks in the skin of your neck, the ones she had left days ago had disappeared. she loved the way you looked with her possessive marks littering your skin. each was unique, temporary tattoos of her love decorating your skin.
“fuck,” you drawl out, your hips bucking desperately against her fingers. you can feel judy smiling against your neck, her teeth grazing the skin as she makes her way to your ear.
“so wet, you needed me so badly, hmm?” you nod desperately, heat spreading throughout your body. she felt so good inside of you, you missed it so badly. “didn’t know how badly i missed your pussy,” her voice is soft, not at all fitting for the filthy words she threw your way.
her pace is quick, her fingers scissoring in and out of your cunt. your close, you know it, she knows it. your walls clamp around her fingers, your clit pulsing against her thumb. “gonna cum,” you mutter out.
“yeah?” you nod, your hot breaths mixing with her own.
“mhm.” she doesn’t get a chance to mutter out another words before you’re coming undone, your orgasm washing over you. you let out a loud moan, judy’s fingers not stopping their actions against your cunt. you buck against her, the pleasure she gives you being too much and not enough at all.
“again.”
It’s odd, the way change, good change can alter your mind. There’s something so moving about it, this newfound knowledge that something you thought would last forever was purely momentary.
Take this change for example, the kind that you never expected would arise three months ago. A new friend, a now close friend that was shifting the way you saw yourself and saw the world. A friend you didn’t really think could possibly exist, stuck only in half-realistic novels and 40,000-word fanfictions.
But here was this guy, this thunderstorm of a man who had changed your life in such a short amount of time. Eddie Munson said that you were his new best friend. And he seems, at least for now, to have meant it.
There was nothing like late September, when the humidity let up and light jackets were pulled in tight. A cool breeze started to set in, leaving Southerners at ease for the first time since March. Late September, where life felt even more like a gift.
So, when Eddie asked if you wanted to go on a night drive, you couldn’t say yes fast enough.
He picked you up, even going so far as to lean over and open the door for you. You hoisted yourself up, drawn in by his casual apparel. Tonight, he was dressed in a charcoal sweater, different holes being held together by safety pins. He was snug in his black leggings and boots, wrists still littered with bracelets. Knuckles still shadowed by rings.
The only thing that felt unusual was the distinct scent of cologne that wafted toward you the second your seatbelt clicked. The sandalwood, that musk tinging with spice. An overflow of fragrance that was making your head a tad fuzzy.
“Wow, you smell good,” were the first words out of your mouth.
“You think so?” he asked, a smile tugging at his lips.
Avoiding the question, you asked, “Where are we headed tonight?”
The last breath of marigold sunset melted in his eyes. “Well, first, we need snacks. Lots of them.”
Tumblr media
There was nothing better than a stroll through a QuickTrip, the many aisles usually guiding you to the drink selection that felt like a playground. What would it be tonight? Dr. Pepper? Apple juice? RedBull? Chocolate milk? Strawberry?
But there was something that seemed to switch on for you, standing in that cold air. This trepidation that figures would creep up behind you, shadows that could shatter your life with a quick snap. You went back to your ponderings, as if it was out of your hands. The reflections that came quickly under the fluorescent lights, the recognition that change brought about many emotions, many memories that you’d rather leave buried.
You could feel their presence as you grabbed strawberry milk and made your way to the candy aisle. It was there you caught Eddie crouched down, trying to decide between Reese’s peanut butter cups and 3 Musketeers. The ghosts felt ready to pounce at any chance they got, swirling in your head with a vibrancy you hadn’t anticipated. Months of being tossed around like a rag doll, made to believe that your best friend was a monster. Were complicit in their games.
“You need to try Red Vines.”
Eddie sprung back up, leaving you to blink for a moment as your eyes adjusted to the pack he thrusted in front of your face.
“Oh, you mean red sticks of chalk?” you wondered, lifting an eyebrow. “Yeah, no thanks.”
He pretended to get upset, jolting back as if you’d stung him. “Jeez, don’t be such a hater.”
“I’m the biggest hater for Red Vines.”
He pouted. “That’s fucked up.”
Shrugging, you threw up your hands. “More for you!”
“Yeah, but we could’ve enjoyed it together,” he groaned.
“Poor thing,” you said sarcastically, imitating his pout.
His eyes narrowed. “You are brutal, sweetheart.”
Sweetheart?
“Sweetheart?”
He searched your face, his widening eyes mirroring yours. As if he’d been caught. As if he were in trouble. “What, can I not call you sweetheart?”
He said it again.
Heat was starting to build in your neck, your face. “Um, uh…”
Eddie’s eyes screwed shut. “Shit, sorry—”
“No!” you exclaimed. “It’s not that. It’s just—”
“Lame.”
“Gentle.”
His eyelids opened, now surprised. A hush fell over you as you made eye contact, the only sound being his fiddling with the Red Vines packaging and the muffled hum of “Hold Me Now” by Thompson Twins coming through the speakers.
“Uh,” he started, a flash of red appearing on his cheeks. “Is that a bad thing?”
“It’s a good thing,” you assured him. “It’s just…unexpected.”
For the last few months, you truly believed you didn’t know what to think of Eddie. But in that moment, you realized that maybe the chains and the hair and his choice of music and movies had played a part in your blind observations. And it’s not that you thought that Eddie couldn’t be gentle. You just supposed he might be a little harder than he was.
But the way he said the pet name—nickname, the way it fit so softly in his mouth, his voice. You couldn’t help but feel a calmness washing over you at the sentiment.
“It’s kind,” you answered.
His mood seemed to lift. “So, can I, like, keep calling you sweetheart?”
“Yes—” you said a little too quickly, clearing your throat to pause. “I, uh. Yeah. Yes.”
“Alright,” he replied, a smile lurking on his lips. “Sweetheart.”
You surely could’ve died right there.
Tumblr media
During the day, Atlanta was a clusterfuck of traffic, chaos in the lack of turning signals and kindness to let people over. Nothing but honks and just-missed accidents. But at night, even in an overflow of traffic, the city seemed to turn electric. There was something in the air that made it magnetic, the sparkle of office buildings and street lamps guiding you towards your destination with ease. That orange glow that highlighted the path forward, the kind that made you wonder if you’d entered an alternate dimension.
And there beside you was your best friend. You couldn’t love anything more than riding shotgun next to Eddie, watching him belt out the lyrics to a Killers song in between shimmers of light dancing off his profile. “When You Were Young” set the scene for your journey, turning cinematic in nature.
This was so different from the life you knew mere months ago. The long nights of loneliness, staving off any thoughts of the friends that seemed to fade away as soon as you’d made new ones. And maybe it’d been stupid—pathetic—how much you cried. How much you hated yourself and hated the way you’d been used.
But it was nothing compared to the self-loathing. That knowledge that you had everything to do with the downfall of not just your reputation, but the people who you’d held close. Especially one.
“Hey, you doing okay?” Eddie asked, turning down the volume. The crackle blaring from the speakers was what really caught your attention.
It was stupid, really. The they-said, she-said. The college drama that looked a little too much like high school. Maybe it was in the way outcasts find each other and realize they have too much growing up to do—and that involves recreating the high school experiences they never had. You just so happened to get lost in that crossfire and became the ostracized fool used in their petty schemes.
You nodded, unable to keep the fake smile on your lips. “Yeah, yeah. Just taking everything in.”
“Care to elaborate on ‘everything’?”
You wondered what you’d tell her if given the second chance. How you’d describe Eddie’s friendship and the way you thought that they’d get along. If she were here, still attached at the goddamn hip, what would she say? How would she act?
Who is she now?
“Have you ever royally fucked up your life and had to find a way to start over?”
“Uh, yeah,” Eddie drawled, letting out a low whistle. “Big time.” With a gentle sigh and a glance over at you, he asked, “Have I ever mentioned Ronnie?”
“Ronnie?”
“Guess not,” he said with a shrug. “Well, Ronnie and I were best friends in high school. I mean, super close. Like, we lived in the same trailer park and rode to school together every day until, like, two months before she graduated. Ever heard of a prom?”
You snorted. “Yeah, Eddie. I’ve heard of a prom.”
“Just had to check. Didn’t know if Southerners were too busy doing, like, cotillion or debutante balls or whatever.”
Rolling your eyes, you pushed out the memory of hairspray and curlers as you responded, “Well, we do but high schools have proms.”
“Excellent. Well, I kinda asked her to prom and she, you know, said yes.”
“You were dating?”
“Nah. No. It was nothing like that. I just…” He sighed. “I wanted to do something nice for her. Senior year and all. Since I was being held back another year, I wanted to put more effort in. Ron never dated anyone in high school, and it was her choice. Like, she didn’t want to date anyone ever. But I thought that because it was the last chance, I’d do something cheesy and fun. And she said yes which was really cool. I saved up to rent a suit and everything. But come like, fuck, three days before prom, she told me she was going with a group of girls instead.”
Your eyebrows furrowed. “The fuck? Why would she do that?”
Eddie grimaced. “They were all going to the same college. Thinking about it now, I guess she just wanted to have some kinda safety net going in. But, at the time, I was fucking furious. Like, this is my best friend. I spent the little money I’d had on renting a suit. In advance. And there was a cancellation fee. In a small town with fuck all people. Tell me how that makes any sense.” Eddie rolled his eyes. “Anyways, I was pissed. So, I went over to her place and just fucking unloaded.
“I told her she was selfish for trying to fit in with these lame girls who she’d hardly spoken to. Ronnie told me that I didn’t know shit about who she did and didn’t talk to. And when I tried to tell her we’d been best friends since we were kids and that I definitely knew who she did and didn’t hang out with, she told me that she’d been buddying up with these girls at school for months. Oh, and that she never told me because she knew how I’d react.”
“Y’all never resolved it?” you asked after he paused. “It seems like a mild miscommunication.”
“Well, it wasn’t exactly a mild fight, especially at seventeen,” he said with a quick glance over at you. “I told her she was a piece of shit for hanging out with these rich fucks who would never understand her or let go of the fact that we’re ‘trailer park trash’—again, I was seventeen so I had no idea I shouldn’t even think like that.
"But she said that, you know, not all rich kids are as judgmental as I thought they were and that these girls were kind. It didn’t matter if Chrissy and Heather were on the cheer squad. They liked her for her. Guess I couldn’t stomach it. I told her she was a gullible idiot. She told me to fuck off since I was clearly jealous that she had friends and I didn’t. Which is, shit, half-true.
“I told her to get her rich little friends to pay me back for my stupid tux and then to leave my life for good. I honest-to-god convinced myself that that had been her plan all along—get the full-ride scholarship and ditch her best friend. The next morning, I found an envelope with enough cash to cover my tux and Wayne and I’s bills for, like, three months with a note telling me that she’d never forgive me for what I said to her and…to have a good life.”
You noticed his eyes begin to glass over, as if it was too painful for him to stomach. “And…and there was a note from Chrissy. Chrissy fucking Cunningham, this perfect-looking cheerleader that had the biggest dickhead for a boyfriend—captain of the goddamn basketball team and as hardcore Christian as people are here.” He shook his head. “Yeah, she, uh, told me that she was sorry that people treated me like shit and that, for what it was worth, she’d done everything she could to stop the bullying but failed. And she didn’t want to graduate without letting me know she’d always found me cool and to just push through. Said she believed in me and my music and everything.”
A tear escaped Eddie’s lashes. Without hesitation, you reached over to catch it before it cascaded down his cheek. And without any knowledge as to why, your pointer finger lingered there, brushing his skin. As if it was second nature.
You could’ve sworn you saw his tense posture ease, his spine finally meeting the seat. But he kept his eyes on the road, leaving you to remove your finger when he turned on his blinker. You didn’t look away from him as he veered off onto your exit.
“I met all those weird kids that next school year and through them found Robin and Steve. Fucking Steve Harrington who was born into money and was popular and shit. I mean, his nickname was King Steve. Like, how fucking pretentious, right? But he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Sometimes he’s a little stupid, the definition of a himbo, but nice nonetheless. He helped Wayne and I out the moment he caught wind from Robin that we were close to getting evicted. All three of us worked and got our degrees online at night. Then we…came here.”
You couldn’t help but watch him, noticing the way that he was filtering between different emotions by the second, as if he didn’t know how to feel about it. Even now.
“All of this to say…yeah, I’ve royally fucked up before. I made that bed. I lie in it every day of my life.”
You stayed quiet as he pulled into the parking space facing your apartment building. The poor excuse for a streetlamp barely gave way to his features now. But Eddie turned his torso to face you, fingers tapping along the cupholder. His eyes found yours, the captivating brown swallowing you in its intensity. “Okay, so what’s your story? How’d you royally fuck things up?”
The only thing you could do was pause, the stillness of the van and the distant hum of cicadas finally allowing you respite. You couldn’t help but search his eyes, trying to find a reason to keep him in the dark, to keep that hidden pain inside and shield him from your mistakes.
But it was in that scouring that you realized that you had no reason to hide. If Eddie was willing to show the nasty parts of himself, why shouldn’t you?
“Can we go inside first?”
Tumblr media
One spilled pot of mac and cheese, two cigarettes, and three shots of vodka later, you finally told Eddie what happened.
You both sat criss-crossed on the rug next to your coffee table, facing one another. Stray hairs fell over Eddie’s face, his curls now wrapped into a low bun. You couldn’t help but find it cute, even in the face of your unspoken history being brought to the surface.
“I had kind of a big friend group the last few years of college,” you started finally. “I had this D&D group with a few of them and I was really happy. But then I met this other group one night and, I don’t know, I guess I just felt this desire to be loved.
“It was these two couples who’d been best friends since high school and they found out that I was bi and since all of them were too, they thought it would be fun if we all kissed each other and even, like, go further, I guess. We never did the further thing, though.”
“This is the gayest thing I’ve ever heard,” Eddie commented, a hint of a playful smile on his lips.
This made you chuckle. “I know, right? Truly doomed by the narrative since the start.”
“Truly.”
“So, anyways, I hung out with them a lot. Smoked a lot and kinda forgot my other friendships. I still saw them, but I was just so intrigued by how much those people wanted me. Me, some girl from Tennessee who hadn’t seen much and was in this huge city and… I think I got blinded by the opportunity to have four different people want me like that. I don’t even think I realized I was being used until it was all over.
“One of them even told me what to say whenever we all hung out. Just to, like, put out feelers for kissing, I guess? And I would say what they told me to and just giggle because I thought it was just stupid fun. Like, they knew the others better than I did so, to me, it was just a harmless joke. I didn’t actually expect for us to kiss all the time. We were supposed to be friends first. I even thought we were all close friends by the end of it.”
“What about your other friends?” Eddie asked. “Where did they go?”
“Well, they were trying to tell me that I wasn’t the same, that I was acting all weird and that it wasn’t like me to keep skipping sessions. They told me that they didn’t even like my new friends and that they were worried about me. That they’d heard bad things about them. And because I had a big mouth, I brought this up with the new friends and they just…” You took a deep breath, trying to keep everything inside you from erupting. “They told me to leave everyone. To forget about people who were hating on us for no reason. So…I did. But that’s when it all went to shit.”
It took another deep breath for your heart to slow, the resurfaced memories as bright as they could be. The feverish kisses in their dorm room, the twining of hands in hallway shadows. Their dark blue hair in your hands, tongue piercing brushing against your lips. How it was all you craved, how it was the most painful guilt you’d ever experienced.
“The one that asked me to say stuff…we kinda kissed when other people weren’t around. And I didn’t know it, but they’d dated one of my other friends.”
“The one that did the D&D group?”
“Yeah, she’d been my best friend. But they’d dated long before I knew the person.”
“So, what, this new new friend didn’t want you being friends with their ex?”
“And said ex didn’t want me being friends with this new new friend. She was trying to warn me, but I didn’t understand. I didn’t get it.”
“Wait,” Eddie said, holding up his hand. “Okay, I think I’m getting confused. They’ve both got names, correct?”
You couldn’t help but chuckle again. “Okay, so Blake, my best friend at the time, was dating Devon who was part of this new new friend group. Blake tried to warn me that Devon was bad, but Devon was saying the same stuff about Blake. And then Devon was the one I kissed when their boyfriend, Ryan, wasn’t around. Which I admit is shitty of me, but Devon swore they were in an open relationship. Which I really did believe. We were all kissing, you know?”
“I’m guessing they weren’t.”
With a nod, you continued. “This group only lasted, like, five months at the most. After New Year’s which, by the way, was spent with all of us making out and being the gayest group of people on Earth, I suddenly had absolutely no contact with them. They all ghosted me. And when I asked Devon what was up, they told me that the kissing was too much and that they were concerned I was getting too close. And that I wanted more from them than they wanted from me ‘cause they were in a happy relationship.
"Which, not that it matters, but they weren’t. Both couples fought in front of me all the time. It was bizarre how many times it was like I wasn’t even there.”
You couldn’t help but think of the day all five of you went on a hike together. Devon and Ryan passed around a four-hundred dollar dab rig that they thought was a great idea to bring into the woods. Devon slipped on a rock, causing the dab rig to crack which then resulted in a full-on screaming match. Ryan unloaded into Devon, wondering how they could be so stupid. Devon had stayed at your apartment that night, crying in your arms. The other couple, Eve and Corie, had just as many arguments, usually pissing contests over who was more unhappy. It truly was a bizarre time in your life.
“And all this time…I resented the friends that I’d been close with. I resented Blake for so fucking long. I just thought she was so judgmental and rude and mean and…” Shaking your head, you turned away from Eddie. You couldn’t stand to look at him, to remember that he was even listening to you. “I let her down and couldn’t even go back because she didn’t want me. None of them did. Blake, Lisa, Jessie, and Jana told me that what was done was done and that I couldn’t come back. No matter how much I apologized.”
“They didn’t even hear you out?”
“Nope.”
“Well, that’s kinda bullshit.” The comment made you turn back to him, watching as he shook his head. “I mean, you made some bad friends, yeah, but you realized you fucked up and had the balls to face them and apologize. They could’ve heard you out. Especially Blake.”
“Couldn’t you say the same about Ronnie?” you questioned.
You thought it would sound harsher than you meant it, but Eddie understood. He gave you a half-smile. “Yeah, you’re right. I could.”
Nodding, you added, “I take responsibility for the role I played in the destruction. I regret hurting them every day. Mixing friendship and romance is…” You sighed, shaking your head. “I don’t know. It’s tricky.”
His eyebrows lifted, voice laced with intrigue. “You didn’t mention it being romantic.”
“I said we kissed when Devon’s partner wasn’t there,” you stated plainly.
“Kissing and romance can be separate.”
A bitter scoff left your lips, quiet resentment still sitting in your bones. “Well, maybe I was the only one kissing with feeling then.”
You never wanted to repeat that desperate yearning for someone that didn’t feel the same way. Never again would you waste your time on someone who didn’t want you. If lines were to blur and cross, you would have to draw a deep fucking strike in the sand.
Especially if they were already in a relationship.
“I do know I was a homewrecker. I saw they broke up a few months later. All their pictures had been deleted off of Devon’s Instagram.”
“That relationship was unstable long before you came around,” he reasoned.
Shaking your head, you said, “Yeah, but I still kissed Devon when I was well aware they were dating Ryan.”
“And you haven’t stopped beating yourself up for your mistake for how long?”
“A little over a year,” you whispered.
Eddie paused, his eyes wandering around the room until they landed on you again. “So…when you said you were taking it all in…”
“I meant the fact that I actually have a friend again.”
“Best friend.”
As you gazed at him, you couldn’t help yourself from leaning over and wrapping your arms around his neck.
“Woah,” he whispered before bringing you further into his grasp.
A rush of tears left your eyes, a choking sound leaving your lips. The release of a story once held too tightly to your chest, the understanding and compassion of someone who truly accepted you for your mistakes. It was overwhelming to feel this restored, to feel something unfurl and begin the process of mending.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered.
“Don’t be,” he whispered back. “I’m guessing you haven’t told anyone?”
“There hasn’t been anyone to tell,” you admitted.
You realized that this was the first time you’d ever hugged.
“You’ve made a mistake, but that doesn’t mean you’re a piece of shit. You just got caught up in that feeling. I get it. I mean, I ruined shit by wanting to be picked over other people. It’s not the same, but it kinda is at the same time. So, I get it. I get you.” His eyes shifted away from you before they came back, elation filling them. “But guess what?”
“What?”
“We can move on. Together.”
“What do you mean?” you questioned.
“Well, we can keep each other in check. If you ever lose yourself in someone, I’ll let you know. I’m not going anywhere.”
You couldn’t help but blurt out, “You say that now.”
He lifted an eyebrow. “What, is that a challenge to prove you wrong?”
As you looked at him, you couldn’t deny that something was bubbling in your stomach. Bubbling? Blooming? Whatever it was, you liked it. “I don’t know, do you want it to be?”
“Yeah, maybe I do,” he stated, grinning.
And then Eddie was the one to initiate the hug, quickly wrangling you into his arms. You nearly sat on his lap, just holding one another. You couldn’t say how long you sat there, breaths lining up and grips tightening.
Maybe looking back was the only way you could truly see how far you’d come. How far you were able to go now, with the past staying exactly where it needed to be. And, at least for now, you had Eddie at your side.
I always thought that if Lizzie and jimmy where’s gods there domains would be of different levels of the ocean
the oldest Lizzie goddess of the deepest depths of the seas and of the ocean floor littered with lost history and knowledge yet to be known where life originated from and where the fish seem other worldly and colorful to ward away threats
And jimmy the younger brother god of the shoreside and of water that found its way to the surface such as rivers beaches waterfalls desert oasis’s and swamps where life took its first steps out of the ocean and where the earthy toned fish learned to blend in to evade predators
twin gods born centuries apart destined to be separated but undeniably connected
ohhhhhhhhhhhhh that's such a lovely idea... i also really like the way you assigned the domains??? obviously they'd spent a lot of time together in all parts of the ocean but once jimmy disappears lizzie would definitely confine herself to the depths... going up would just make her miss him more... jimmy has always been the more adventurous one which became his downfall :(
when i first thought of the two of them as ocean gods i imagined them as the tides? i think after jimmy disappeared the seas themselves were never the same; much more hostile and unpredictable now that one of its protectors vanished and the other is consumed by loss and anger,,,
Hai!! Interested in your Life Series(?) x Genshin??? I'm all here for it!! Whatcha got thought out so far?
Who has what visions?
Where would the visions be? Like, hanging from the hip, or necklace, off of a bag, etc.
Anything else you might wanna share?
This is such a good question I hadn't thought too much about that!
Overall only a few of the placements are important to the story, which are Jimmy's, Lizzie's, and Pearl's.
Tumblr media
Jimmy's vision appeared on his back between his wings, litterally out of his reach, he didn't even realize it was there until Lizzie pointed it out. While he was ecstatic to have earned his vision, he couldn't sincerely share in Lizzies celebration, because he had no excuses now, he had to get better, he had to get stronger (Lizzie could have died, she almost did, the only reason she's not is because I got lucky, or the Tsaritsa took pity on me, it dosen't matter, I can't waist this gift) the late nights training in the courtyard, his claymore swinging in his shaking hands, it's weight wreaking havoc on his shoulders, in the morning he'll laugh and say it's from the bad fall they took those days ago, Lizzie will laugh too because he's never lied to her.
Tumblr media
Lizzie got her vision long before she joined the fatui, long before she met Etho, when she was just a child being told the stories of humanities evil, of Tevat's sins and the destruction of a holy nation, of her purpose, her mission, and when she would be reminded the the only thing she could trust in Tevat was the sword on her hip. A vision sat where her sheath used to be after a day of training, there were no explosions or fanfare, it was a normal afternoon. She left to join the fatui the next morning.
