Jon Snow is quite literally narratively haunted by the dead:
His bio dad got his chest smashed in by his cousin's hammer because he stole his lady love.
His mother, he dosen't know about, died giving birth to him.
His stepdad got beheaded as a traitor, which set off the War of the five Kings.
His girlfriend died in his arms after telling him he knows nothing. ironic.
His sister Rhaenys was stabbed to death, and his brother Aegon got his head smashed in by the Mountain. His other brother/cousin Robb went out via Red Wedding style, as did his wolf, whom Robb likely warged into after his death, so technically he died twice. All of them died because of Tywin Lannister.
His two stepmothers (Elia and Catelyn) were brutally murdered on the Lanaisters behalf, with one of them currently haunting the narrative as the Walking Dead via Lady Stoneheart.
His grandfather, Rickard, was killed by his grandfather, Aerys, as was his uncle Brandon, which set off a rebellion.
His grandmother died giving birth to his aunt, Daenerys.
His uncle Viserys was crowned by his uncle Drogo, who later got an infected wound and was mercy killed by his aunt Dany.
His cousin, Rhaego, was killed by a Maegi during a blood ritual to save his uncle. Their deaths were later used by auntie Dany to bring dragons back into the world.
His great-uncle, Aemon, died on a voyage to Oldtown, which Jon sent him on. On his last journey, Aemon at last saw the truth. His last act was trying to send help to his great-niece, Daenerys, to bring her home safely and make her understand that she and her dragons are the only hope against the coming great war for the dawn.
And now Jon Snow is dead as well, stapped by his own man, pending to be ressurected.
Wherever you look, death touches this character. If Daenerys Targaryen is the daughter of death, then Jon Snow is the son of death. Death shaped these two characters into who they are today. It's also why Jon is destined to be the King of Winter, with his Bride of Fire by his side. Together, they will defeat death and bring about the dawn of a new age.
“Old powers waken. Shadows stir. An age of wonder and terror will soon be upon us, and age for gods and heroes.“ -AFFC (GRRM)

OB BF's Oldest Brother, lives outside the city limits on a farm to send money back for BB and BF to live in a decent apartment. BF and GF are running to get outside the city to live with him.
BB BF's Big Brother, lives in an apartment with BF in the city. Wasn't a Demon originally- but became one after DD revived him WAY to roughly- causing permanent injury to his body and soul. Can see the spirits in BF- but isn't told about them till they're out of the city because BF was afraid of giving him a heart attack.
Armaros BB's personal caretaker. Was an angel sent to fix the issue with the city itself- fell from grace for the sin of pride after a misunderstanding caused him to falsely target GF and kill BB on accident. Now lives with BB as a form of apology and helps take care of him.
That's everyone!!!!
Everyone important or semi-important anyway HAHA-

House of the Dragon Hot Take #6
I think it's time to voice my opinions on a few things that include both teams because I feel like in most of these posts I'm just blatantly staying neutral so here we go 😮💨
Joffrey Lonmouth and Vaemond Velaryon getting murdered - Both terrible injustices and a blatant display of ignorance from Daemon and Criston Cole. Neither should be celebrated or seen as "cool."
Daemon and Rhaenyra - Not a good ship at all I'm sorry. To be honest I don't think any ship involving Daemon is a good one because he's abusive, neglectful, selfish, and a pedophile.
Rhaenyra and Alicents victim-hood - Should not be compared in any way shape or form. They are both victims in their own right and they BOTH deserve better.
Blood and Cheese - I know most Team Green AND Team Black stans agree with me on this one because it was absolutely unforgivable. Daemon had an innocent child beheaded. Let's not ignore that a rape threat was used against a little girl and a distressed mother.
THE Driftmark incident - Both parties were in the wrong in their own ways here. Aemond didn't deserve to lose his eye, Lucerys didn't deserve practically having a death threat made towards him by full grown adults and his uncle who knew better than him, Rhaenyra didn't deserve to have her arm sliced open, Aegon didn't deserve to have the blame placed on him and he especially didn't deserve to be hit for it, and Alicent didn't deserve to be cast aside like that and ignored.
Laena's Funeral (Pre- Aemond becoming One-eyed) - Honestly justice for my precious girl Laena because WTF even was that mess of a funeral? Her uncle was spewing vitriol at literal children during the ceremony, her husband laughed and was practically eye-fucking his niece, and then Daemon and Rhaenyra end up fucking like three hours later?? 😭
Viserys I Targaryen - I hate this man. He was a shit father to all of his children. He was a shit husband to both of his wives. He was a shit king. He was a shit friend. He was a shit brother. A PEDOPHILE JUST LIKE HIS MF BROTHER !! AND HE'S A RAPIST !! #Viserys should have died sooner
Aegon II, Aemond, Helaena, Daeron, Rhaena, Baela, Aegon III, Viserys II, Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey - Honestly, I sympathize with every single one of these children. They were all raised in terrible environments with immature people all around them. Most of them were practically abused.
Harwin Strong - Justice for my man. He loved Rhaenyra, Larys, Lyonel, Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey with all his heart.
Laenor Velaryon - JUSTICE FOR MY MAN!!! He was ridiculed, bullied, and blatantly used almost every day of his life for who he was. His lover was murdered right in front of him, his selfish ass father refused to accept him, and he had jokes made about his sexuality while he was grieving his dead sister that he didn't get to see for 10 years.
Rhaenyra and Criston Cole - The whole fucking situation grossed me out tbh. I understand Rhaenyra was under the influence and confused from what just happened to her but she practically coerced Criston.
Aemma Arryn and Rhea Royce - Justice for my wives ASAP!! Aemma was used as a breeding mule and Rhea was murdered by her weirdo fucking husband.
The Iron Throne - In my true opinion, I do agree that Rhaenyra was the rightful heir, but in truth neither her or Aegon were good rulers in their own ways. AT ALL.

Jedi and Generational Trauma
Count Dooku was never happy as a Jedi because he never got over the fact that his mother decided she could live without him, so he was cool with his apprentice, Qui-gon, who arguably reacted to this emotional neglect by turning to the living force.
Qui-gon fully only stayed a a Jedi long enough to discover Anakin because the woman he loved died in his arms after spending days being tortured. He came within literal inches of murder and the dark side of the force after that one.
Obi-Wan only stayed a jedi long enough to graduate to knighthood because he WATCHED the aftermath of Qui-gon and Thal. And he STILL had to watch the woman he love get killed on a mission. (And depending on continuities and how you count this: IT HAPPENED TWICE. We don't hold with Siri Tachi erasure here.) And of course, who was watching the aftermath of that? Anakin.
And then we get Anakin, the literal triple threat for generational trauma. He somehow managed to get the "ripped away from my mother," "my mother died in my arms after being mercilessly tortured," and "my pregnant wife died after I murdered a bunch of younglings and it's very possible I was a major contributing factor to her death." And that's on top of the "being born into slavery" trauma. And who watched all of this go down? Well technically Ahsoka, but I'm not a big clone wars girl, so I missed that. The other person who watched Darth Anakin was Luke.
Luke, bless his heart, managed to actually build a family and save the galaxy like eight separate times before his nephew went full Sith and murdered his wife.
And let's talk about Jacen for a sec, because this is where the generational trauma gets absolutely ludicrous. The Solo kids had all the Jedi generational trauma, their mother's political career trauma, and the Dad's a badass smuggler trauma from literally before they were born. Then they got to watch their little brother commit a heroic sacrifice to save both all the jedi, their asses, and the galaxy. They also had to try to prop up his girlfriend (and I gotta say, Tahiri pulled HERSELF up eventually because Jacena and Jaina were literally useless immediately after the Myrkr mission), and at a certain point it's a miracle that it took Jacen as long as it did to snap and go Sith.
And I'm convinced that if Jaina hadn't had Jag when she killed Darth Caedus, she would have found a way not to survive that battle. Hell, Jag called her out on exactly that. Jaina deserves her own post though, so I won't go too deep into it here.
I know there are people who are not into the "mystic family has the galaxy circling around them" thing, but ngl, the intergenerational trauma line that stretches basically ubroken back to Yoda across at least two empires and sixish generations is FASCINATING to me.

Jesse James Haunted Farm
It is said that the James farm in Kearney, Missouri where the notorious outlaw Jesse James grew up is haunted. Jesse James’ parents moved from Kentucky to Kearney in 1842.
His father was a Baptist minister who wanted his boys to be well educated. However, in a trip to the California gold fields he died leaving his sons without a father, Jesse was just 3 years old.
His mother, Zerelda lived on this farm for the rest of her life, through three marriages and eight children.
During the Civil War in 1863 the James’ farm was brutally attacked by Union soldiers. Shortly afterward Jesse age 16 and his older brother Frank became Confederate guerilla soldiers, riding with William Quantrill and Bloody Bill Anderson.
Quantrill’s Raiders as they later became known operated out of Missouri. They ambushed Union patrols and supply convoys. They seized the mail and occasionally struck towns on the Kansas-Missouri border. Their main focus though was against the local pro-Union civilians, which they tried to drive out of the territory.
After the Civil War the James brothers, Jesse and Frank now officially outlaws started to attack trains, banks and stagecoaches that were controlled by the Northern side which bought brutal control to the Missouri legislation.
From 1860 to 1882, the James gang was the most feared band of outlaws in America. Responsible for 20 bank and train robberies they murdered countless individuals that stood in their way. They stole an estimated $200,000. Despite their ruthlessness they became folk heroes to some. They literally became legends in their own time.
The local citizens of Kearney kept quiet when they were home on the farm during this period of time. Clay county where the farm is located was in a part of Missouri called Little Dixie, the entire state was 75% southern sympathizers. Both Jesse and Frank were devoted husbands and fathers who spent a lot of time with their families. They were not modern Robin Hoods though, for they kept the money they stole.
In 1869 the gang robbed a bank in Gallatin, Missouri. Jesse shot the banker through the heart feeling he was responsible for the callous murder of Bloody Bill Anderson. The James gang lost some public favor after this. Local newspapers started to call for the capture of this blood thirty gang.
Frustrated at how the locals protected them, Governor Crittenden had the railroad place an enormous price on the James brother’s heads. Pinkerton detectives hired by several bankers raided the James farm in 1875 thinking the older brothers were there. They threw a bomb in the window killing Jesse and Frank’s younger half-brother, Archie as their mother watched. She lost part of her right arm and hand during this struggle.
In one bank robbery several members of the gang were killed. After this the Youngers, a part of their gang were sent to prison for 25 years.
In 1882 the brothers planned one last robbery with Charley and Bob Ford. They did not know these brothers intended to betray them for the large price on their heads.
On the morning they were to commit this robbery Jesse ate breakfast with the Ford’s, placed his gun on one of the farmhouse beds and stopped to straighten a picture that hung on the wall. Bob Ford shot Jesse in the back of the head. He died instantly and was buried in the side yard of the James’ farmhouse. His remains were later moved to the family plot at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Kearney.
The locals did not appreciate what the Ford brothers had done. Bob Ford who was pardoned by Governor Crittenden was driven out of Missouri known as the coward who had shot Jesse. He traveled around in a Wild West show ironically about the James gang. He was shot and killed in Creede, Colorado in 1892. His older brother Charley stayed in Missouri but was shunned. He committed suicide ten years after his brother was murdered.
Frank James gave himself up after Jesse was killed. He was tried several times but there never was enough evidence to convict him. He lived peacefully for the rest of his life at the farm. In later years he charged tourists money to give them a tour of the place.
The James farm and house have been considered haunted for over 100 years. Located off James Road in Kearney, Missouri the farm is a museum today. Employees at this farm still report odd occurrences. After the museum closes for the night many have spotted lights going on and off in the farmhouse. Others report that doors have slammed shut in front of them without cause.
Several witnesses have reported hearing horse hooves stomping outside on foggy nights. When investigated nothing has been found. Others have reported hearing whispered conversations inside the house when no one is there. Some have even heard the bomb going off or cries and gunshots as if a Civil War battle is happening outside. Many staff at the museum today will not go into the house alone. They state that they feel an unnatural intense presence in the home that scares them.

Luciana Allegri wasn't Tsuna, thats something Vongola learned very soon
Sawada Tsunayoshi, their weak soft hearted civilian heir, was know for his kind heart and mercifulness
Now he is dead
Luciana Allegri, daughter of the Sicilian baker Carmella Allegri, was a fierce young woman, with bright Sky Flames that burned hotly and deadly, with her dark eyes that seen souless, often dressing up with dark colors with her long pale-blond hair pulled into a braid
She was often seen with a scowl in her features, distrustful cold black eyes, and a sharp tongue, many Elements approached her, wanting to prestige of being Vongola Guardians, were simply burned, far too weak for one of the most powerful Sky Vongola produced since Giotto
Luciana wasn't Tsuna, she wasn't the little pushover Japanese boy Vongola started to grew accostumed with. Always close to her Guardians, only missing a Cloud, ironically situation similar to her rival heir
Vongola Nono was nearly...careful around her, more than he ever was with Tsunayoshi, she did not botter with anything but plesantries, even sneering at him for calling her anything but 'Signorita Allegri', literally burning Gokudera Hayato's arm with her Flames, the former Vongola Heir's Storm had attemped to challenge her Storm, Chiara Alberto, for the position.
The Sicilian girl was brash, cold and often, angry, snapping at anyone and everyone how talked over her.
The hostility between the Ninth and new Tenth Generation was clear as the day, Timoteo di Vongola tried, ordering her to Alliance parties, sending gifts, sitting her and her Guardians beside him and attempting to make small talk and act friendly, calling her 'Luciana' and 'young lady' as if they were family
That got a reaction, Luciana very coldly informed him to not call her by first name, they arent family or friends, in front if the whole Alliance
Rumors started to spread, about the new Decima's husband-to-be begin Sawada Iemitsu's brother-in-law, which made the deceaced Sawada Tsunayoshi, Luciana's nephew by marriage. Kazue's coldness to match his fiance during the parties, refusing to leave her side not matter what happen
This was not good, Xanxus's coup still flesh, Vongola needed to be united, for the good of the Famiglia, Luciana needed to trust Timoteo as a advisor to guide to Famiglia
In normal circuntances, Sawada Iemitsu begin related to their future Don would be a good thing, a easy connection with his distant cousin, a way to welcome her into the family. After Tsuna's death, by Iemitsu's own machinations, the situation was...unstable once again.
If Tsuna had been easy to deal with, Luciana was a absolute terror, the pale blond girl absolute hated Timoteo and didn't bother to hide it.
After Iemitsu snaped out of his shock of seeing Nana's half-brother at Luciana's side, the External Advisor started to shove his Vongola propaganda at Kazue, trying to take him out of his fiance's side with the excuse that 'they are brothers-in-law and should spend time together'
Kazue feel to urge to scoff at Iemitsu's attempt manipulation, but understand why, he is Luciana's fiance, her future husband, Vongola's future Don, Luciana did not have any closed connections to Vongola, her father begin Hades and her mother dead, Tsuna had been the CEDEF's boss's son, already Famiglia from the time he was born. Iemitsu's control over Tsuna and Nana was absolute
The External Advisor begin responsable for the murder and sealing of the Tenth's nephew, his own son, was bad for him. Kazue remember clearly how his girlfriend reacted the first time she saw Iemitsu, she nearly burned him with her Flames, calling him a 'fucking kinslayer' to his face, maybe she spend too much time with Aunt Alecto
Kazue was a attempt of the blond to get some sort of control over the new wild heiress now that Vongola killed his mortal half-sister's son
Yet Iemitsu pushes, loud and annoying big man, but Kazue don't miss the sky coldness in his eyes, the bastard clearly thinking of a way to use Kazue to 'reconciliation' between Vongola and their very much livid heiress. Sawada Iemitsu was dangerous. Kazue hated Nana, the woman was too neglectful for him to actually like, but she deserved better.
Luciana wasn't Tsuna, they couldn't do whatever they wanted with her and get away with it. When Nono had send Dino to 'fetch' his heiress for his birthday party when they all were at Greece visiting Lady Artemis's hunters, is the day Dino Cavallone lost any type of friendship they might have.
The Cavallone Tenth invaded the house and put his men surrounded the house, he show up like he owned the place, while not begin invited, ordering her to come back 'home' (as if that Hellhole of a Family was her home, her home was Greece, the Underworld, her Family was her father, Thanatos, the Furies, her siblings and cousins, the Camp Half-Blood) and try to 'lead' her to his car
Lady Artemis did not take it well, neither did her Guardians, but Luciana took the action first. She bluntly told him to go to Tartarus, if he even dared try to kidnap her (and Dino looked surprised at the accusation, as if she would simply go with him after he invaded the house? As if he had the right to take her anywhere he wanted against her will? Did this man does not own a Dicionary?) Luciana would kill him, she is fine where she is, she is visiting HER FAMILY, her real family, and won't leave until she is finished
But Dino insisted 'Nono's orders' as if that means shit, the blond keep insisting that she must go with him and tried go grab her again
The huntress of Artemis clearly disliked that a man, one so disrespectful, was trying to shameless kidnap a woman in front of them and start to shoot. Dino's men were no match for a butch of immortal huntress and their goddess
Dino did retreated after his attempts to make Luciana go with him (he got a knife to the hand for that). He never tried again.
Mariella, the ever charming negociation, had send a letter to the Cavallone, informing they wont so lenient next time he tried to kidnap her Sky
Dino's attempts to explain that it was 'Vongola's orders' were brushed off with Mariella's sharp 'we are not with a good relationship with the Ninth Generation, by aiding them, you allied yourself with the Generation that soon will be out of power, both Xanxus and Luciana want him dead. I hope you like the decision you made, Cavallone Decimo.' Which leads Dino in another political mess
Luciana imediatly put him to the 'sheeple' list of people, that spot reserved for people like Tsuna's Guardians, a butch of mindless selective deaf people that just followed Vongola's orders like a butch of worthless sheep
After a month, she went back to Italy by Shadow Travel
Timoteo had been angry at her, demanding to know why she didn't came back with Dino like he ordered, Luciana calmly told him that she resisted an attemp kidnapping and she would murder the next ones
Vongola insistence that Luciana shoud just put in the Iron Fort for her safety was laughted off, she wasn't going to let some mortals steal her freedom, she had a live and won't be caged like Tsuna was, she won't bow to their demands so easy

Just thinking about how Claire experienced unimaginable horrors constantly and regularly witnesses the deaths of people she bonded with, but she never gets the time to mourn them, usually because she has to fight for her life and the life of someone else she’s protecting, and how that feeds into her survivor's guilt. Additionally, even when seriously injured, she doesn't even have the time to stop and assess her own wounds before fighting or taking care of somebody else
In Resident Evil 2, at only NINETEEN years old, a college student with no military or cop training or experience goes to a city she knows to look for her brother who’s been MIA for a bit and accidentally gets trapped in a nightmare. She’s forced to find a way out alive, while also protecting and eventually saving a little girl who is completely reliant on her.
And two people’s deaths on that mission, Marvin and Annette, have an impact on her. Marvin is nothing but supportive of her, and he’s doomed from the moment he meets and saves her. She’s unable to do anything to help him, and the entire time it’s like waiting for a clock to count down until Marvin’s dead. When she moves on, she has to leave him behind, and if you go back, he’s a zombie, his fate is sealed. Claire can’t deal with her ally being dead because if she hesitates or feels emotional, she’ll die, so she just has to move on or kill zombie Marvin.
Annette is obviously a worse person than Marvin by a fucking mile, but her death still impacts Claire because despite her reluctance, she still DID help save Sherry, she told her daughter that she loves her even if she’s been a bad mother, and she gets a good-bye with Sherry. Claire, who lost both of her parents in an unknown way, HAD to have felt something at watching a mother say good bye to her daughter before dying in front of her. And Claire doesn’t have time to deal with her feelings because she still needs to get herself and Sherry out of there.
Code Veronica is the most obvious example of Claire losing an ally, but I’m gonna mention Rodrigo first. She doesn’t watch him die, Chris does, but after he helps her escape prison and they have a nice allyship when she gets him what he needs, afterwards she has to leave and has to leave him behind to certain death.
The other person she watches die in front of her is probably the most well known. Steve. Love him or hate him, he meant a lot to Claire. His last words before dying to his injuries were that he loved her and he’s sorry he couldn’t do more. Claire gets a moment to mourn him, but not long enough, as she and Chris are still stuck in the base that they need to escape. And in the moment she’s in intense mourning, she’s given NO comfort, because her brother can’t get into the room with her and offer her even a hug. And we KNOW Claire kept Steve’s memory with her decades later, because in Revelations 2, she references something Steve told her all those years ago.
Infinite Darkness doesn’t have her lose an ally, but you know what’s traumatic? Looking for a person you think is a lead on your case, and finding the scene of a brutal suicide.
In Revelations 2, literally every other innocent person she ran into inside Alex Wesker’s evil torture house dies from fucking fear. And she can’t process any of that or even really show too much emotion regarding that since she’s trying to be strong for Moira. Also, you know, Neil’s betrayal is pretty fucking shitty for Claire, but again she can’t process it, she just has to kill him.
Heavenly Island we return to actual allies dying in front of her. Inez, her fell TerraSave member, someone who is just as headstrong as Claire and someone who is obviously a good friend, gets fucking killed defending her fellow survivors, and she dies in Claire’s arms.
Also like. 90% of the young women on that island are murdered and she’s powerless to stop it. Also I’ll say it, Marilou is assaulted and nearly killed, which Claire also can’t help or offer the girl comfort since they have to either run or kill Julie.
Even Death Island, even though Taylor was a fucking asshole, Claire still failed to save him and he was shot and died right next to her while she was in a jail cell about to be infected herself. When Becky saves everyone, once again no processing time, no time for relief.
I think Degeneration was the exception, but still she had to put Rani’s feelings and safety before her own, something that someone as kindhearted as Claire Redfield wouldn’t hesitate to do, but something that probably still weighs heavily on her psyche.

Had a Random Burst of Inspiration
I'm not sure if anything will actually come of this, but I wrote a bit of Turlough being a big brother to Adric and thinking about how they both have nightmares. This isn't anything like a complete story, even a short one, but I've been having writer's block for nearly a month now and I'm just excited that I created something.
CW: Turlough remembers being branded with the Misos Triangle, and the same thing happening to a literal infant. Nothing graphic, but it's mentioned, so now you know. There's also some talk about what happened to Adric in Castrovalva, so the word "torture" is used.
Adric was afraid of the Master. Of course, they all were, to some extent. Turlough found him more irritating than anything else. He usually just let the Doctor handle him and stayed out of the way. But, the other companions had a different perspective. To Tegan, this was the man who randomly murdered her aunt. To Nyssa, this was an evil being walking around inside her father’s corpse. And to Adric, this was a monster who kidnapped and tortured him to make him a weapon to use against the Doctor.
Nyssa and Tegan didn’t talk to him about their problems. They had each other and Turlough wasn’t about to stand in the middle of whatever they had. But when Adric had nightmares, he woke him up. They only shared a room because there were only so many bedrooms close to the console room and the Doctor didn’t want them getting lost. Honestly, they only shared the room around half the time anyway, with Turlough spending more and more time in the Doctor’s bed. But, on the nights they were sharing a room, sometimes Adric would wake up thrashing and muttering refusals. He wouldn’t obey the Master. He wouldn’t betray the Doctor. Turlough would crawl out of his own bed to wake him up, rescuing him from his own mind. He’d try to soothe him, though he had no idea how to do that. It was exhausting. He often fell asleep in Adric’s bed next to him, as if his physical presence could keep the bad dreams away.
Turlough knew what it was like to have nightmares, and to be tormented by some evil thing that wanted the Doctor dead. He never bothered Adric about them. There was nothing the kid could do. Anyway, Adric could sleep through basically anything. He never had to know. Even though he knew things about him that no one else in the TARDIS did. He knew that he’d had a family once. A mother, a father, brothers, sisters. He had no idea what happened to most of them. He knew his mother was dead. He’d been there when it happened. His older brothers and sisters ran away after that and he never saw them again. They were probably dead too. As for his father and younger brother…
Those were the worst nightmares. Worse than the Black Guardian, worse than the bullies at Brendon, worse than the battles, even worse than that day at the academy where he is mother died in from of him. It was those screams. Some nobody who called himself a judge reading out sentences of death and exile with no emotion in his voice. The smirks of the Custodians as the prisoners were paraded in front of them and strapped down. It was bad enough when they branded him. It was bad enough when they branded his father, who put on such a brave face for his children. But Malkon…he wasn’t even a year old. He had no idea what was happening. He was just suddenly yanked from his father’s arms and burned with a hot iron. Those screams…
Based on Trion maturation rates, Malkon would look around Adric’s age now. Maybe that’s why Turlough felt like he had to watch over him. He also knew that Adric had had a brother once, one that would be around Turlough’s age. They grew up without parents, so this brother, Varsh, was all he had.
Adric saw Varsh die in front of him like Turlough watched his mother be gunned down. They both understood what it meant to watch the person who’d kept them safe become a pale corpse in front of their eyes. Turlough was fortunate enough that when his mother died, he could run to his father, even if he didn’t do much to comfort him. Adric ran to the Doctor. He’d only just met him, and he wasn’t any better than Turlough’s father when it came to comfort. Turlough suspected that the incarnation of the Doctor he knew was even worse than the one before him in that regard. Though, he’d gotten better. At least, Turlough didn’t feel as bad about his nightmares when he woke up next to him.

i just think about the fact that. jon's whole body is covered in scars & he's still Very young. like. he has a burned hand & forearm, eagle talons across his face, an arrow going through the leg & was stabbed to death & he likely has to get his throat & parts of his stomach & between his shoulderblades stitched back up upon his resurrection. who's gonna stroke the scars on his face. who's gonna show him tenderness & caring while he processes his grief & trauma bc all this time he's acknowledged it but he's never really felt it, he thinks he's a man grown & technically he is, but he's still that traumatized boy on the inside trying to be a man, he's trying to kill the boy inside himself but that's still a part of him & he can't kill the trauma that boy suffered, he's still that little boy on the inside who was haunted by winterfell & beyond the wall. he has so much pent up grief bc quite literally everyone he ever loved died & then he found out that 'arya' is alive (who's actually alys karstark) & then when he tried to save her, he got killed. davos is gonna have to give him a "it's not your fault" good will hunting scene with jon during the winds of winter bc he genuinely feels like its all his fault. there's gonna be a moment of catharsis at some point where everything he's been through all just comes crashing down on top of him & he's gonna Feel It. because he has so much to deal with, suffering from a severely traumatic injury, waking up after painful medieval surgery to find out that his home has been burned to the ground & his little brothers have been killed (they aren't but he doesn't know this yet), then his first love dies in his arms, then he finds out his remaining brother & closest friend robb is brutally murdered at his own wedding, then he becomes lord commander at a young age & has a massive responsibility on his shoulders then he sends his best friend sam away to the citadel, then he finds out his little sister (who's actually jeyne poole but he doesn't know this yet) is actually alive & is forced to marry ramsay bolton then he GETS STABBED & DIES for trying to do the right thing & now he's going to be resurrected after his soul has been stuck inside of his gigantic albino direwolf ghost & having to deal with that trauma & not to mention shireen baratheon, an innocent little girl, will probably be sacrificed by burning alive for his life & will have to relearn to speak & he also becomes hard of hearing after being inside of his direwolf's body (as animals with albinism actually have a high comorbidity rate of hearing issues & that transferred over to his own human body when his soul was brought back into his own body again), violently dying & then being brought back to life & having to deal with multiple disabilities at once & also learning that an innocent little girl was murdered in the worst way possible for your life doesn't sound great for someone's mental health & that's not even getting into who his actual biological parents are & whenever that's revealed to him. finding out he's not really eddard stark's biological son & that he's not actually robb & arya's biological brother & that his biological father is actually rhaegar targaryen & his biological mother is lyanna stark (who while she's dead in canon, in our& main verse is still alive but she's forced to marry roose bolton after he gets to winterfell; she went back to talk to theon but ramsay bolton sacked winterfell) is gonna fucking DESTROY him. his entire arc has always been "let them say eddard stark had four sons", this will SHATTER him. & i think after his resurrection, he's gonna become way more wolfish than he already is especially bc his vows to the night's watch no longer apply. ngl he's gonna end up killing sb then fucking sb to get his grief out. having ur classic stoic fantasy byronic hero protagonist becoming physically disabled halfway thru the series would be insane especially as a visibly brownskinned indigenous man who becomes hoh & having speech issues & severe ptsd is. smth.

The smallfolk of King's Landing didn't storms the Dragonpit and overthrow Rhaenyra because of Helaena's death, Helaena's son was literally torn apart by a mob, and the smallfolk didn’t even riot against Robert and Tywin when they murdered Rhaegar's children and they loved Rhaegar SO MUCH MORE more than the Greens considering they “welcomed Rhaenyra”. The fandom always conveniently forget the Shepherd, a one-armed missionary with a furious hatred for dragons and an alarming ability to get people's attention, appearing out of the blue after Rhaenyra takes King's Landing and proceeding to make things worse for everyone. People should reread his speeches, and pay attention to how he calls Helaena “sweet sister” despite her being a Targaryen, dragon rider and married to her own brother. It is highly probable that the Shepherd was a Poor Fellow or a Septon sent by the Citadel (controlled by the Hightowers), using him as an asset to sway public opinion to their agenda.
Dragons were unnatural creatures, the Shepherd declared, demons summoned from the pits of the seven hells by the fell sorceries of Valyria, “that vile cesspit where brother lay with sister and mother with son, where men rode demons into battle whilst their women spread their legs for dogs.” The Targaryens had escaped the Doom, fleeing across the seas to Dragonstone, but "the gods are not mocked," and now a second doom was at hand. “The false king and the whore queen shall be cast down with all their works, and their demon beasts shall perish from the earth,” the Shepherd thundered. All those who stood with them would die as well. Only by cleansing King's Landing of dragons and their masters could Westeros hope to avoid the fate of Valyria.
At Cobbler's Square the sounds of the riot could be heard from every quarter. The Sheperd drank deep of the anger, proclaiming that the day of doom was nigh at hand, just as he had foretold, and calling down the wroth of the gods upon “this unnatural queen who sits bleeding on the Iron Throne, her whore's lips glistening and red with the blood of her sweet sister.”
I'm always baffled by Greens stans who think the blind and directionless anger of the smallfolk weaponized by misogynistic and religious fanatics like the Shepherd and the High Sparrow are somehow great and real examples of leftist radicalism or proletarian revolutions. Cersei’s walk of shame chapter perfectly illustrates how untrue that is.
A) Misogyny and Rebellion
While reading, I also felt that this guy was too conveniently there. I especially like this:
People should reread his speeches, and pay attention to how he calls Helaena “sweet sister” despite her being a Targaryen, dragon rider and married to her own brother. It is highly probable that the Shepherd was a Poor Fellow or a Septon sent by the Citadel (controlled by the Hightowers), using him as an asset to sway public opinion to their agenda.
However, the Shepherd also spoke out against Aegon II and died for it:
Lastly King Aegon II turned his attention to the Shepherd. When brought before the Iron Throne for judgment, the prophet refused to repent his crimes or admit to treason, but thrust the stump of his missing hand at the king and told His Grace, “We shall meet in hell before this year is done,” the same words he had spoken to Borros Baratheon upon his capture. For that insolence, Aegon had the Shepherd’s tongue torn out with hot pincers, then condemned him and his “treasonous followers” to death by fire.
On the last day of the year, two hundred forty-one “barefoot lambs,” the Shepherd’s most fervid and devoted followers, were covered with pitch and chained to poles along the broad cobbled thoroughfare that ran eastward from Cobbler’s Square up to the Dragonpit. As the city’s septs rang their bells to signal the end of the old year and the coming of the new, King Aegon II proceeded along the street (thereafter known as Shepherd’s Way, rather than Hill Street as before) in his litter, whilst his knights rode to either side, setting their torches to the captive lambs to light his way. Thus did His Grace continue up the hill to the very top, where the Shepherd himself was bound amongst the heads of the five dragons. Supported by two of his Kingsguard, King Aegon rose from his cushions, tottered to the pole where the prophet had been chained, and set him aflame with his own hand.
(“The Short, Sad Reign of Aegon II”)
And he preached specifically against the dragons as well, inciting the mob to attack the Dragonpit:
Like the queen they so despised, the Shepherd’s “lambs” were looking to the sky with dread, fearing that King Aegon’s dragons would arrive before the night was out, with an army close behind them. No longer believing that the queen could protect them, they looked to their Shepherd for salvation.
But that prophet answered, “When the dragons come, your flesh will burn and blister and turn to ash. Your wives will dance in gowns of fire, shrieking as they burn, lewd and naked underneath the flames. And you shall see your little children weeping, weeping till their eyes do melt and slide like jelly down their faces, till their pink flesh falls black and crackling from their bones. The Stranger comes, he comes, he comes, to scourge us for our sins. Prayers cannot stay his wroth, no more than tears can quench the flame of dragons. Only blood can do that. Your blood, my blood, their blood.” Then he raised his right arm and jabbed the stump of his missing hand at Rhaenys’s Hill behind him, at the Dragonpit black against the stars. “There the demons dwell, up there. Fire and blood, blood and fire. This is their city. If you would make it yours, first must you destroy them. If you would cleanse yourself of sin, first must you bathe in dragon’s blood. For only blood can quench the fires of hell.”
(”Rhaenyra Overthrown”)
Helaena never actively used her dragon in the war and was always kept within the Red Keep, so she gets this grace of being “sweet”. It’s possible -- on the condition that the Shepherd was sent and/or obedient to his sender and their plans -- that he was instructed to say so about Helaena to stoke the crowds’ ire more.
If he was an independent agent, then he also could have characterized Helaena as the only positive Targ -- despite her being a dragonrider and of Valyrian descent, a Targ , and married to her brother -- was because she was the least active Targ and a woman passively acting as a “true woman”.
Note how his words of Rhaenyra “sit[ting] bleeding on the Iron Throne, her whore's lips glistening and red with the blood of her sweet sister. ”
Aside from saying that Rhaenyra won the throne by killing her own kin -- whom she shares blood with -- (thus making her seem that much more of an abomination or an evil agent for going against the laws and customs of the Westerosi), he evokes imagery of a woman menstruating and the event where Rhaenyra came away from the throne literally bleeding (as is the rumor) at the same time. He contrasts the unnaturalness of the throne, a nonliving object, cutting Rhaenyra -- as if it were itself an agent. Thus imbuing the object with spiritual agency and meaning instead of its historically secular value -- against the “sweetness” of Helaena and her "good” blood spilling. Helaena’s blood going to “waste” in the sense that her death should not have happened and was forced. She died on the spikes of Meagor’s Holdfast -- which themselves are metal spikes cutting a girl while the thrones’ swords cut the “whore” Rhaenyra.
................................................
EDIT# 1: Meanwhile, Septon Eustace said that Rhaenyra was cut...while wearing armor:
So the torches were lit in the throne room, and the queen climbed the iron steps and seated herself where King Viserys had sat before her, and the Old King before him, and Maegor and Aenys and Aegon the Dragon in days of old. Stern-faced, still in her armor, she sat on high as every man and woman in the Red Keep was brought forth and made to kneel before her, to plead for her forgiveness and swear their lives and swords and honor to her as their queen.
Septon Eustace tells us that the ceremony went on all through that night. It was well past dawn when Rhaenyra Targaryen rose and made her descent. “And as her lord husband Prince Daemon escorted her from the hall, cuts were seen upon Her Grace’s legs and the palm of her left hand,” wrote Eustace. “Drops of blood fell to the floor as she went past, and wise men looked at one another, though none dared speak the truth aloud: the Iron Throne had spurned her, and her days upon it would be few.”
(Fire and Blood; "The Red Dragon and the Gold")
Make it make sense. But I will: Eustace lied or heavily embellished to make Rhaenyra's win ominous. And any biased reader (maesters who were taught at Oldtown's Citadel, which received funds from the Hightowers; anti Targs, esp Robert Baratheon and the Lannisters; septons and septas who already fearful of magics, as dragons were sometimes hinted to come from) of Eustace's work chronicling the Dance and those borrowing from it/repeating and not analyzing against it would influence already biases readers. Useful for more propaganda.
................................................
The Shepherd's words continue Septon Eustace's rhetoric to disparage Rhaenyra, but in live mode. It's all meant to create an inherent and spiritual purity in Helaena, a helplessness intrinsic to her purity here, against the Rhaenyra’s unnaturalness and non-womanliness.
Rhaenyra/a woman's period blood is seen as a substance that makes her "unclean", especially in the 3 monotheistic religions we have today, at least in their history and some current sects' tenets. The idea also has precedence in other cultures.
So we are invited to see Rhaenyra's womanliness and nonwomanliness as also sullying the throne, as Helaena's innocent blood pouring out from her and turning "bad". Rhaenyra turned good things into evil, dirty things, especially by acting violently (the used claim) against her “better” female kin.
His use of blood and its different symbolism or references still amount to him preaching that there was violence and unnatural powers working against the KL residents, that they must match that violence and use their own sacrifices to “cleanse” and purify the evil “blood” -- the whole Targ and dragon brood.
The idea that he was sent by someone else, a green supporter is possible and occurred to me when I thought of how Larys also is still at large, noted to have possibly spread the rumors of Rhaenyra’s involvement in Helaena’s death, and came quickly back to court after Aegon II comes back as if he came out of nowhere.
But with how he ends up, it feels like he was
always an independent agent
went his own way after the fact (least likely)
or he was just using whatever authority put him there as a avenue to his preaching and moves against those he sincerely wished to preach against (what I think)
rather than him working totally and obediently under another green supporter at Oldtown. I think that him being a septon or a Poor Fellow is good, likely. Since he speaks well enough.
All this is interesting, because the Shepherd is both using misogyny/is misogynist while preaching the need for the KL resident, the peasants, to rise up against both nobles and the Targs (not just Rhaenyra, but still using her gender as ameans to characterize her evil), encouraging them to govern the city/Westeros under a true understanding of the Seven but mostly being against dragons in of themselves.
B) Comparison
He reminds me of Girolamo Savonarola, a Dominican friar, who:
[preached] prophecies of civic glory, the destruction of secular art and culture, and [called] for Christian renewal. He denounced clerical corruption, despotic rule, and the exploitation of the poor.
In September 1494, when Charles VIII of France invaded Italy and threatened Florence, such prophecies seemed on the verge of fulfilment. While Savonarola intervened with the French king, the Florentines expelled the ruling Medicis and, at the friar's urging, established a "popular" republic. Declaring that Florence would be the New Jerusalem, the world centre of Christianity and "richer, more powerful, more glorious than ever", he instituted an extreme puritanical campaign, enlisting the active help of Florentine youth.
Savonarola was also known for his eloquent, impassioned, full-of-visceral-imagery, and apocalyptic speeches against the present authorities, but he also wanted a “democratic theocracy”, or a state lead by “proven” religious figures and their interpretations of God’s words and desires. The Shepherd would go on to become as sort of “king” of King’s Landing:
the Shepherd never claimed kingship, styling himself a simple son of the Seven. Yet it cannot be denied that he held sway over tens of thousands from the ruins of the Dragonpit.
(”Rhaenyra Overthrown”)
but losing followers more and more as the peasants looked for real protection:
In the early days after the queen’s flight, the Shepherd was by far the most powerful of the city’s three “kings,” but as the nights passed, the number of his followers continued to dwindle. “The smallfolk of the city woke as if from a bad dream,” Septon Eustace wrote, “and like sinners waking cold and sober after a night of drunken debauchery and revel, they turned away in shame, hiding their faces from one another and hoping to forget.” Though the dragons were dead and the queen fled, such was the power of the Iron Throne that the commons still looked to the Red Keep when hungry or afraid. So as the power of the Shepherd waned on the Hill of Rhaenys [...]
(“Rhaenyra Overthrown”)
And Savonrola lost followers, even had them turn against him, when:
A trial by fire proposed by a rival Florentine preacher in April 1498 to test Savonarola's divine mandate turned into a fiasco, and popular opinion turned against him.
Savonrola was more of an independent agent than the Shepherd who definitely did not have aristocrats/wealthy people backing him and his speeches, but both held an intense, fear-based sway over the masses. He also died by fire after the both Church and secular authorities condemned him.
Charles VIII of France thus is invoked through the KL’s residents fear of Aegon II coming to take the throne again and harming them in the process.

Post Chain of Thorns Rant pt.2
[pt.1]
Now that she no longer was busy treating Ari like shit and using women like objects, Anna was a lot more tolerable. I even liked the glimpses of her relationship with Matthew we got. Maybe if she could react like a person whose brother just died in her arms I would like her a lot better. And if we got to see her mourning in her own POV rather than in Ari's buried between paragraphs of her wanting to kiss Anna.
Jesse came back from the dead, literally everyone and their mother knows it, yet his literal family barely bats an eyelid. The very same folks who had begged him to come live with them when he was a kid. Now to them, he's just 'Jesse the new strange boy'. The whole Jeremy Blackthorn plan was just cheap, I cannot believe it worked for as long as it did. This guy here is the spitting image of his father, yet when he showed up at a party full of people who had known him for years, they just drink up the American relative excuse just because apparently all Blackthorns look the same???? Also wouldn't they know Jesse as well considering he was running around London, possessed by a Prince of Hell and murdering Shadowhunters just yesterday??? Nobody found it even a little suspicious that a new Blackthorn just showed up right after that??? Whatever, the necromancy plot was just an afterthought and it showed. #Jesse and James best brothers-in-law.
I absolutely loathed how everyone villainized Charles just because he wanted to keep his relationship with Alastair and homosexuality a secret. And then, to make things worse, he was literally forced into coming out by his own brother and his friend, and got treated like shit because he dared prioritize his career over any relationship he might have in the future. God forbid someone doesn't put romance in the first place right??? And don't even get me started on how everyone just dismissed him after he did come out. Because apparently 'nobody cares if he fancies men'!!! Where did Charles get the impression he would get ostracized if the truth ever came out??? That's so silly of him!!! I'm raging.
A few more thoughts about the book/plot in general:
Elias' funeral anyone???
CC totally forgot one of the characters was supposed to end up exiled at the Scholomance.
The Carstairs owe the Herondales because????
Wasn't there supposed to be a surprise baby that needed adoption?
Ariadne changed her name to Ari/Arati but we never get a last name. Does she keep Bridgestock since she made up with her mother?
After four completed series and six (that I can remember) dead siblings, I can safely say that the one who got the most (and better written) amount of mourning is Sebastian, of all the people.
These characters have such a black and white perception of the word and it's just annoying.
How TF did Charlotte manage to get pregnant, she is like 50… And twins.
Bridget coming into the fray last minute and starting to slay demons was insane. I love her for it.
New Belial's pact about him and Herondales staying away from each other is totally tying in either the last TEC's book or TWP.
Anna and Ari already planning to adopt a baby feels incredibly rushed.
Forever be bitter that we never got to see Gideon's reaction to Jesse resurrection and them interact.
Congratulations to Sona for making it out alive when so many people (me included) gave her for dead.
Cordelia's relationship with both Herondale is totally rushed and built around nothingness. I wish CC would stop trying to sell either as "childhood friendships turned into more" because… it's simply not that. It's blatantly obvious that despite writing to each other for years (plus the occasional meeting) Lucie and Cordelia barely know each other, and James doesn't even have that… Am I really supposed to believe that it took him as little as her reading to him when he was nearly comatose with fever to make him fall in love with her?
It was very nice to see all the characters finally come together and interact as a group.
Lucie and Jesse best ship.
If Tessa hadn't been so stubborn about keeping her head under sand about the identity of her father and had acted accordingly (especially when Jem did all the research work for her and clearly warned her that her father was one of the Princes of Hell) all that mess about getting the Institute removed from their custody would have been avoided. Not to mention, she could have had her children learn how to defend themselves, insead of leaving them to fend off alone until the problem became too big to ignore.
The falling out for the necromancy plot was incredibly underwhelming.
I don't think we are ever getting another (accurate) family tree.

Reblog to add a 4th option I just thought about:
Bonnie being corrupted or darker, and maybe she even join other villains? This is going to be all over the place, but here's my thoughts.
There's something interesting about a good girl changing for the worst? There were moments in the show were it seems she's going to change, like in the first seasons when she says "I'm done being pushed by all of you" or in season 6 when she says she changed after her 1994 Prison experience + Kai.
She could be corrupted by her own magic of course, like when Shade and I think Lucas's father maniuplated her to use expression magic.
There's so many things within fictional witchcraft that can go wrong.
I recently rewatched Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. In this universe were they use the science of alchemy it's impossible to bring the dead back. Edward lost limbs in the process of trying to bring his mother then bringing his brother's soul back. The thing they created in the process wasn't even human. The brothers don't get out of it unscafed. My point is there's rules and horrific consequences if you use alchemy wrong. After giving his arm for his little brother life, he's given the ability use alchemy with drawing circles first.
It doesn't work like that in TVD, but instead of "just" dying, what if with her experiences with death changed her? What if it tainted her? What if she gained abilities after? What else could she loose?
I mean our girl really went through it, she is surronded by death, loses and suffering.
I hate all of those plots so much but it's canon!
She brought back Jeremy, she really died (twice?) was burried and decomposed once. She was a ghost!! and then she was brought back. She watched her loved once die or being murdered in horrific ways. She was the anchor, the dead literally passed through her. I think the first person she killed is Kai.
And everytime she's supposed to act like nothing happen to her after those traumatic experiences. Besides Jeremy she's not supported and she's supposed to turn the page and go back to help her friends.
Just grief alone is very hard to experience, I can't imagine what it's like for her character. I desperately want to know more about her inner world!
What if after she dies and comes back, her new ability is necromancy? It's a ancient form of magic to communicate with the dead and is considered a dark form of witchcraft. I always saw it as very creepy...
TVD wrote her to hold to her morals very strongly even if that made her hypocritical at times. Like when she condemn Kai for the same things Damon did, yet the first one was unredeemable.
I think corrupted!Bonnie could be something interesting to explore. I know people ship her with Klaus, and other bad guys, of course because it's TVD and the love interests are mainly bad guys. But I also think that's because the pairing would create a intense dynamic between a powerful witch with another powerful occult and interesting storylines...
I think Kai was so interesting because of this but also because he brought out thing out of her, not just hate. It's also like he called out things that were wrong and annoying in TVD. Like I wrote in my answer, I think she's extremely repressed, I think he brought part out of her she wanted to keep burried, and that really bothered her.
I would have love the show to continue Kai's redeption arch, and to allow Bonnie to leave her group of friends, and explore the darkest parts of herself.
How do you think a villain bonnie would play out
Okay so I thought about it for a bit, and since I have a hard time seeing Canon Bonnie becoming a true vilain - not just a dark version of herself, I was stuck. I imagine that she could have a hard/cold exterior but at her core she would always have a kind heart.
But then I thought maybe if in her earlier life she had a cataclysmic event that pushed her to snap...
As you know there's many plot holes and normalized abuse in TVD, and so many things that make NO sense... Bonnie is the last Bennett of her line, she's so rare and precious, yet no one protects her. Its mentionned that the Bennetts are so rare and special too. They are said to be fiercely powerful and independent yet they cannot help but being stuck in lives of servitude and loneliness...All those qualities and yet that kills them...
In the show, the Bennetts ancient blood and magic are so sought after, and I thought of how Kai stabbed Bonnie to get her blood, so he could get out of the Prison World without her.
So maybe in this horror AU, humans and occults, vampires most likely, hunt certain witches to harvest their blood and store it, maybe even sell it?? They do it so much that they're this close of going extinct.
Difference is Bonnie is treated as a precious person, she grows up in a protected place and nobody hid that she was a witch from her, so she's able to learn witchcraft earlier.
That would be a great opportunity for Bonnie "the last born and most powerful of her line" to mean something.
She would go ape shit on the vampires who used her, her family and used and killed so many witches. She would have the means because of her power and smarts. Even better if her family and ancetors are allies.
Instead of her dumbass obligation as Mystic Falls protector, she would choose to be a Witch Protector. Her goal would be to stop the Bennett murders and free every witches from those shackles. She would become a vilain with a goal that the viewer or reader could agree with, even if the means she use are somewhat immoral (think using dark magic like expression, manipulation, torture and murder).
Canon Bonnie has the potential to be an unstoppable and feared force. For once, I want her to embrace chaos instead of submitting to it.
(start of mini rant) Okay this is also me being blood thirsty, because TVD made me resent vampires so much, I used to like them, but in TVD they are so selfish and immature ugh. It's like humans and other occults are just NPCs in their world?? 😣😣(rant over)
Second Plot: One other thing that would make Bonnie snap (IMO) is if she loses her friends. In the show, because they didn't care about our sweet Bon and probably to make it easier for the teenagers to get into occult messes, they wrote her as having almost no family and being neglected and then rapidly she becoming an orphan. Her circle of friends are her found family. It's the one thing that keeps her going. It's the one thing that ties her to Mystic Falls.**
(second mini rant) **Like why would she stay and protect a town that's so dangerous and hostile to her kind, where her ancestors and close parents died in awful ways?? Not to mention she, herself, also died there. Twice! Emily was a slave, and after being betrayed she burned at the stake, so she was criminaly burned alive in the same place her innocent ancestors were murdered, and yet centuries after Shiela decided that secrecy was the thing that was going to protect her kin? I love Grams but wtf?? talk about generational curse and trauma whaaat *tears* (second mini rant over)
Her friends are everything to her, I hate it but she would literally give her life for them.
If they profoundly betrayed her, to the point she could never forgive them, that would deeply change her, but that might also give her space and freedom to live her life away from Mystic Falls. Let her give in to those hard emotions, she's not allowed to feel in the show:
anger
rage
resentement
loneliness
frustration
grief
being repressed, etc...
After fighting with her ex-friends, she wouldn't be a vilain for long, she would just do nothing with them. So I'm not sure it would count as a vilian!Bonnie storyline. But sometimes when you're a people pleaser being selfish and choosing yourself is like a bad thing. Also everyone that isn't a vampire or Matt is the enemy in this show, so maybe being an independent "selfish" black witch would be the equivalent of a vilain to them? lol
Third plot: If someone killed all her friends, and if even with all the magic and spell she could cast, she would be helpless to bring them back, she would just snap. It would be so tragic because she would have lost everyone. She would move earth for them or to avenge them. I can imagine her being ovewhelmed and mad with grief and her power would react to it.
Imagine her with 100% untamed magic. Her power alone would be something to be feared and in awe of.
So that's my take so far. I did read really good fanfics about Bonnie being a vilain or a mean girl I wonder if it's maybe that's what you thought of, when asking your question.
What do you think?

Jan 'Just call me John' Stilinski never believed his parents when they told him he'd learn to love his shift. His parents only cooed at each other and laughed at his incredulity, but how was he supposed to like being a pole? He wasn't even made out of something cool like his dad. He's carbon fiber. What's he going to do, try out for track and field and hope for the best?
Or
The not!fic of how John learns to appreciate the other part of himself with a little unknowing help from the girl of his dreams.
Teen Wolf 2.0 (Season One) by AceOfSpaids
(1/? I 818 I Teen I Sterek)
When Stiles was fourteen his entire family died in a house fire; his sisters, his brother, grandparents, everyone. His dad was the only survivor, though in a way it was like he died as well. Stiles and his mother were lucky enough not to be home. After everything was sorted Stiles and his mom moved to Poland, to get away. Years later Claudia gets a message and needs to go back, and when he feels his bond break he has to as well.
Or; What would happen if Stiles, Derek, and Scott all switched roles? What if the writers weren't assholes who exploited Sterek instead of actually giving us Sterek after at least season 4 like they should have? What if there were people to help the literal TEENAGERS trying not to get themselves and everyone else in Beacon Hills alive while under constant threat from the supernatural and murderous hunters?
This fic is here to answer those questions.

When they're warned of an incoming hunter-threat, the pack prepares for another fight. Instead, they realise that someone might not be who they appear. Stiles comes to terms with his own feelings and decides who to trust.
Hidden Truths by LoveGD
(10/? I 17,381 I Explicit I Sterek)
Stiles is tired. Tired of always having to hide who he is, and what he can do. When the Pack kick him out because he's a "useless human", Stiles goes to visit his paternal Uncle and comes back ready to kick some ass. With the Alpha Pack lurking in the shadows, it's time for the Stilinski Family to show who's boss!
Nothing or all in by brewhaha
(25/25 I 28,713 I Teen I Sterek)
People say things can't get any worse but as somebody who has seen ferals Argents, Alpha packs, darachs, chaos demons, the dread doctors, the wild hunt and more all before finishing high school I know anything will get worse. The world is ending and it's all thanks to Scott freaking McCall acting like everything he does is right, Deaton being a shady mother wanting more power and Gerad Argent trying to be the biggest kid on the playground. Everybody is dead and the only ones who are left are me and Derek. It turns out there is a hail mary in the form of time travel. Derek is something called the lord of all that walks or the delta of shifters and I am Sprawiedliwość na wszystkie or justice for all because mom was the nematon.
A Forgotten Spark by Phlinting
(13/13 I 35,123 I Mature I Peter/John)
Noah Stilinski always knew something was missing, but it took the death of his son and some seriously heavy drinking for a few very important memories to shake loose. The question now is what the hell is he going to do about it? And can he trust Peter Hale to actually help?
This story starts with Stiles's death several years after the TV series ended, but don't worry, he won't stay dead. I wouldn't do that to one of my favorite Teen Wolf characters.
Delta by Rhiw
(22/22 I 93,828 I Mature I Sterek)
Stiles and his father have been the only two werewolves in Beacon Hills since they moved there seven years ago. In fact, Stiles had never even met another wolf that wasn't related to him. Which would be fine except that he was a Delta - a Third, a Breeder, whose only purpose in life was to find a nice big, strong Alpha or Beta to breed them like the bitch he apparently was. But, again, given the lack of werewolves, Stiles pretty much thought he'd never have to deal with any of that.
Then one night his father gets called out to a murder scene in the Preserve and Stiles can't help but go check it out.

Do you mind if I ask your top 10 favorite characters (can be male or female) from all of the media that you loved (can be anime/manga, books, movies or tv series)? And why do you love them? Thanks....
oh my gods thank you so much for asking i could go on and on about these characters tbh ✨
Laurent of Vere (Captive Prince trilogy): okay i admit he's an asshole but like in the best way. he's so outspoken and not afraid to say what he thinks to the point of cruelty and good at swordfighting and dude i wanna be like that. also he is very fucking smart. his mind is like a maze that not many people would be able to figure out. or something. his words are like weapons. and he's stoic but at some specific times you see him being expressive (sometimes against his will) like when he blushes at something Damen says or actually smiles or laughs and it just warms my fucking heart i love him so much tbh
Nico di Angelo (PJO): he helped me get over my homophobia when i was a kid. this dude has literally gone through so much with his sister dying and dealing with the feelings he had for Percy and the hate he felt he was supposed to have for him and the internalized homophobia and wondering what other people would think about him being gay and also he's powerful as fuck he has a sword made from Stygian Iron he absolutely SLAYED in the last battle against Kronos he's gay he can teleport and he has trauma and survivor's guilt and he wears his fucking avian jacket everywhere and never brushes his hair and survived fucking TARTARUS on his own dude no he's fucking amazing and deserves all the love in the world
Adam Parrish (the Raven Cycle): he is the smartest person alive probably. he survived his stupid abusive fucking father and works really hard in school and in life because he believes you have to do that to get somewhere in life and he wants to fucking get somewhere. he cares so much about his friends and is not disaster bisexual representation no that boy is organized as fuck. we should all feel lucky that he exists we as a community as a fucking planet do not deserve him <3 also he sacrificed himself to a sentient forest to save everyone i think so that was pretty badass ngl
Ronan Lynch: this dude can literally bring shit out of his dreams. he swears a lot and cares so deeply about his friends it's so fucking beautiful. he dreamed the sentient forest his bf Adam sacrificed himself to. he looks dangerous as fuck and can be when he wants to but also he's just a huge softie. he's gay and he used to fist fight his older brother and he can dream things that don't make logical sense into existence. he is just,,,,, this amazing fucking character and right now it's hard to put it all into words but bottomline: i'm happy he exists
Andrew Minyard (All for the Game): he has been through so. much. this man keeps knives in the fucking leather band thingies on his arms which he wears to cover the scars he has from all the self harm that he inflicted because he was fucking r*ped when he was seven (for the first time, anyway) by his older foster brother (fuck Drake Spear, the bastard). he cares so much about some people but doesn't show it in very obvious ways, mostly. i mean he killed his mom because she was abusing his twin brother and if that isn't love then love doesn't exist. i'm so happy he survived all that shit. he survived and has found a family in the Foxes and a boyfriend in Neil Josten who he loves very much and hdjdjfjskxkdkd
Neil Josten: was on the run for like eight years with his mom from his crazy ass father who wanted to murder them. even after his mother died after bleeding out from a wound his father inflicted and he burned her body along with their car and buried her bones he lasted a full day without puking his guts out, and then he kept going. so many would've just given up at that point, understandably i think. but he didn't. and then he became a Fox and was playing Exy and failed his attempts to not get attached to his teammates he grew to care about them all so much especially Andrew who he is in love with and whose boundaries he respects like he has literally actively put himself in harm's way so many times just so nothing will happen to his family and Andrew. he cares so much i love him.
Blitzø (Helluva Boss): literally just a guy. well i mean an imp one of the denizens of Hell who decided to open up his own assassin company thingy where you'd pay him and he'd go to the human world with the help of the grimoire his sorta fuckbuddy ish crush Stolas lends him and with his employees to kill the person you want them to kill. so yeah that's pretty badass. yknow, in a weird, twisted way. he's also foul-mouthed as fuck which is always fun to see :) but what made me kinda connect to his character is the dude's estimate for his own self worth is basically non-existent he pushes away anyone who cares about him and puts up the facade of an annoying asshole (which he kinda is naturally) to not deal with his feelings sometimes. i relate
Wylan Van Eck (Six of Crows): his dad is a fucking asshole who wanted him killed because he can't read. who the fuck does that literally wtf. but he escaped and joined the Crows [Kaz, Inej, Jesper (who is his boyfriend), Nina, and Matthias (dead)] who are all just kids who are fighting to survive in this horrible ass world. also they want money to buy stuff which, same. but Wylan has so many strengths like he can create bombs he's a flautist he's good at the sciency stuff and music and is smart as fuck and he's such a pure person like. i love him so much <3
Will Byers (Stranger Things): this guy cares so much about his friends and family and will do anything to help make sure they're okay. he's in love with his best friend and he thinks he's a mistake which he is NOT. he is a fucking GIFT to mankind we should all feel lucky he exists because we do not fucking deserve him. it broke my heart to see him being pushed aside and forgotten but in season five he better get all he deserves and more. literally i love him so much and i love when he's a little rude and rolls his eyes and that one time he asked Jonathan “is that why you don't have any friends ?” with the most innocent fucking face ever like he is the best. i love him. #will byers supremacy
Angel Dust (Hazbin hotel): okay i watched this at like 3am today and can i just say: AMAZING. like his character is just so publicly flamboyant and i love that for him. i mean i guess it's literal Hell and no one gives a shit but he's there and he's a sex worker and dude does not give a fuck about what other people think. he cares about specific people and his best friend is Cherri Bomb and they did the music video thing together where we find out he was (still is, i guess) sexually abused by this bitch Valentino who we should all hate. fuck him seriously why are people so horrible. he cries and resorts to the sex and drugs as a way to numb the pain. fuck. he even died from a drug overdose. i hope when we get the hazbin hotel series he's like okay and stuff because i love him so much for and it hurts that that shit happened to him.
so yeah this is my list not necessarily in this order😅 thanks again for asking i appreciate it <3

The Love Interests in the Works of Jane Austen: An Assessment
This is an "extremely scientific" and "thoroughly researched" ranking based on personality, money, family and connections, and is a bit of a blend between the book characterizations and the film characterizations (and is in no way only based on my own opinions). Here we go, grouped by book but not much else.
Edmund Bertram: absolute trash. His family has treated you unbelievably shitty since day one and not only has he BARELY noticed, he ALSO has treated you shitty. Will fall in love with someone beautiful and fun and when she dumps him will come crawling to you for a rebound. His passion for you is so lackluster that even the esteemed author who wrote about it barely spared a paragraph on your relationship. Has a job but only because his dad owns the land the church is built on. You’ll gain no connections or family by marrying him, since he’s literally your cousin. 0/10
Henry Crawford: There IS such thing as too much fun, and that is never clearer than in this man, who will try to seduce you as a game, freak out when his middling overtures don’t work and then try and seduce you “for really real” this time. You will definitely move up in the world if you marry him, and if you play your cards right it seems like his sister is also just REALLY into you, so see how that goes. Life will be pretty okay until you find him in bed with one (or more, who knows) of your relations. 3/10, 8/10 if you’re into that
John Willoughby: Will be like something out of a romance novel, you’re thinking he’s going to propose and then he just fucking ghosts you and embarrasses the fuck out of you at a party by acting like he doesn’t know you. Somehow marry him (congrats on the inheritance you must have, btw) and get ready to take a backseat to the whims of his aunt for as long as she lives. 1/10, at least you get to live in a nice house.
Edward Ferrars: Oh Edward. He’s a bit of a mess, isn’t he? Super kind, your family loves him, he made a bunch of stupid decisions in his youth that are coming back to bite him in the ass. He is loyal to an absolute fault, but you luck out when his fiance turns out to be a bit of a gold digger and dumps him when his mom disowns him. He doesn’t have a job and neither do you, but his family doesn’t wanna speak to him (lucky you!) and you’ll be happy and poor together if you two can work on your communication skills. 7/10.
Colonel Brandon: He’s got a nice house, the respect of his friends and the community, and he has a LOT of passion. He’ll give your sister’s penniless husband a job, dramatically rescue you from a rainstorm, make sure his dead girlfriend’s daughter is happy and taken care of even after your ex fucks HER over too, and is all around a pretty decent guy. Just. Uh. Maybe, kinda, sorta, needs to go after women his own age and is probably with you because you remind him of his dead girlfriend. 5/10 with the wildly inappropriate age gap, 9/10 without it.
Mr. Wickham: Please don’t. He’s a thirsty bitch who lives for drama and you think he’s fun until you find out he tried to sleep with one teenage girl and is making eyes at your fifteen year old sister behind your back. Marry him (through the grace of mysterious benefactors, cause he ain’t marrying anyone unless he’s paid the right price) and get ready for a life of being surrounded by military men in the north of England while your husband tries to fuck everything that moves. Work that out somehow with him and you might actually be happy. 0/10.
Mr. Bingley: He is a softboi who will do literally anything his friends tell him to do. He is SUPER rich, and marrying him will throw your sister’s into the path of other rich men and he is REALLY into you, but get ready to be sucking up to his sisters for literally the rest of your life. Unless he can ship Miss Bingley off to live with Mrs. Hurst, have fun trying to wage a war of barely concealed insults over the breakfast table every morning, and if you’re marrying Bingley I’m sorry but that is a war you just cannot win. He doesn’t have a job but he does have five thousand a year, and neither of you can manage money. You’ll love simply and deeply and be happy as any two can be. 8/10.
Mr. Collins: Last resort to rescue yourself from a life of being a burden to your parents until they die and then having to become a governess or something. Has a job but never shuts up about his boss. You will have to rearrange everything in your house according to his boss’ will. 2/10
Mr. Darcy: Is a anxious disaster who doesn’t know how to talk to girls at parties and needs to learn how say no to going out when he’s just not feeling it. He doesn’t have a job because he’s a landlord; he owns half of Derbyshire and has ten thousand a year, but turns out that all of that money and land can’t buy tact or charisma. Doesn’t know how to flirt and thinks he’s doing a great job (he’s not). He’ll propose to you out of the fucking blue one day by insulting literally everything about you, but don’t worry! Reading his letter unlocks Darcy 2.0. This patched version gives him humility, a personality, and he WILL gain the ability to rescue your family from utter ruin. Marry him and enjoy a life of luxury and witty ripostes, but beware! You ARE going to have to deal with Lady Catherine until the day she dies, not to mention Caroline Bingley’s barely concealed contempt every time you meet in polite company. Darcy 1.0 3/10, Darcy 2.0 8/10.
Captain Wentworth: Absolutely top tier. Has a job, has earned everything he has, including a fortune and the respect of his peers, superiors, and subordinates. His sister and her husband are practically the only happily older married couple you know, his friends are super fun and nice (even the dour one with all the poetry knows how to have a polite conversation). If you dumped him ten years ago on the advice of your almost comically shitty family yeah, he’s going to hold a grudge, but he WILL NEVER STOP LOVING YOU and the MOMENT he gets over his pride will do everything and anything in his power (including leaping the bounds of propriety!) to win you back. Based on his love, money, and connections you should RUN, not walk, into his arms TODAY and allow him to rescue you from your family and whisk you off to see the world on his ship, at least until Napoleon busts out of Elba. 12/10
Mr. Eliot: Will lose all your old schoolfriend’s husband’s money in a bad deal, has debts out the ass, might be trying to get with either you or the woman your dad has been flirting with for the last few years, you’re not sure. Is totally ruining the rekindling relationship you’re trying to get going with your far superior ex. He wants the land and title your dad has and will stop at nothing to get it. Marry him and you can move back into your old house (maybe? it’s a little unclear what with all the debts) but have every single cent your mother left you immediately put into some dumbass scheme. 1/10
Henry Tilney: another softboi who just wants to act in the school play while his dad and brother plan to ship him off to military school and berate him for not joining the football team. Bring him shopping with you to pick out dresses, spend long nights over tea chatting about books. Has a job, but again, only because his dad owns the land the church is on. Loves you even though you have some very strange ideas about his house, and will forgive you when he realizes you thought his dad either murdered or imprisoned his mom. If he can find the courage to tell his dad to fuck off and let him live his own life, expect a long, happy marriage of snuggling together in a window seat somewhere, sipping tea and reading. 9/10
John Thorpe: Trash bastard man. Peaked in whatever equivalent of high school he had. Shitty and rude to everyone, would post racist memes on facebook and start fights if he could, all while being shitty and manipulative and CREEPILY possessive of you. -2/10
Robert Martin: A sweet himbo farmer who just wants to love and worship you. He has a job, is pretty rich, and while his connections may not be above his class, he’s an earnest boy who wants to take care of you and be taken care of in turn. Marry him the first time, absolutely do NOT let your friend influence you against him, because who KNOWS if you will get a second proposal! (You will, he likes you THAT much.) Marry him and enjoy a sweet, simple life of exactly zero drama (unless your friend is around). 7/10
Mr. Elton: Trifling gold digging trash who doesn’t know what the word no means. Do not marry, unless you want to be censured by decent, hardworking people -1/10
Frank Churchill: Knows how to have fun, but you know there’s something more going on. He won’t let you see his letters, he sends out secret notes, then he smiles and tells you that everything is totally a okay. Another boy with ANOTHER overbearing aunt, only this one doesn’t know how to say no. Marry him if you’ve got the money, but he will always be longing after the poor girl next door that auntie wouldn’t let him married, and would have cheated on you already if she was into it. 3/10
Mr. Knightly: He’s your brother in law and you’ve known him almost your whole life, so that’s a little sus, but he is also the ONLY person in your entire life who knows how to tell you no (and you really, REALLY need to be told no sometimes.) He is extremely wealthy, but more importantly he’s kind and caring about people who are considered “beneath” him. He will break his weird no dancing rule to dance with your shy friend, he will ream you out for being shitty to unwed spinsters who value your opinion, and somehow has the correct read on everyone all the time. You will gain no connections by marrying him, since the two of you already have the exact same connections anyway, but the two of you should be content in a test of wills that will last a lifetime. You’ll be very happy as long as he doesn’t get super pedantic and start correcting you about everything. 7/10
