telemachus: i'm so excite- *looks ahead*

telemachus: *stops walking* oh no *sad noises*

odysseus: *still walking* what's wrong son?

telemachus: *points to the sea beyond ithaca's shores* poseidon must be angry today, look at the storm in the distance

odysseus: *looks ahead but without worry on his face* no need to worry, we can still go sailing, follow me

telemachus: *confused but follows his dad*

*both make it to the docks*

odysseus: you get started, i've just got something to do & then i'll join you on the ship

*telemachus hops on the ship and odysseus turns to face the sea*

odysseus: *red eyes activate* i'm. going. sailing. with . my. son.

*the sea storm dissipates in record speed*

odysseus: good.

odysseus: *red eyes deactivate*

Okay y’all know those reddit posts where the husband forces the wife into opening the marriage because he wants a free pass to cheat and she’s forced to say yes because the option is that or divorce? And then the husband legitimately expects the wife to just stay home and not do anything while he’s having fun because she loves him. And then eventually she decides if the relationship is open then she should probably find someone too, and then the husband is all shocked pikachu face about it and wants to close the relationship back up because “it’s different because Im sleeping with different women I don’t care about, and you’ve got an entire boyfriend so it’s cheating D<“

Meanwhile the boyfriend is a cinnamon roll who is totally trying to finesse the wife out from underneath the husband because she deserves better??? That he’d happily be committed to her and only her if she leaves him?

Thinking about having menstrual cramps while in the dream world (because time moves on even when you’re under dear OB!Mal’s spell) or you get transported to the past without your pain meds, can you imagine the pain?

Just staring at General Vanrouge’s magearm and wondering if you can just borrow it for a second, it’ll be quick, just to take out your damn uterus!

General Vanrouge wondering why you are staring at the sharp weapons so intently…before you get tackled to not do anything stupid. You weren’t. Probably.

The Silver Owls are quaking in their boots as you find the nearest weapon. No one in your path is conscious once you’re done with them.

consider, for just a moment, the first time neil gets drunk with the foxes.

i think it wouldn’t happen until the end of his second year, but when it does, nobody was prepared.

so, neil is partying with his foxes. it’s probably a bonding night or something, just them in a dorm. i doubt he’d let himself get drunk with strangers around, but he trusts the foxes not to hurt him and he trusts andrew not to let him do anything stupid.

shockingly, neil is a massive lightweight. he rarely ever drinks, so in reality it’s not that surprising, but somehow none of the foxes expected him to get completely pissed off of like three beers.

neil, as it turns out, says the most batshit outta pocket things when he’s drunk. i’m talking bringing up his traumatic childhood in casual conversation and then immediately afterwards asking allison to braid his hair or something. just completely random and a little horrifying.

eventually, andrew decides that it’s time for neil to switch to water, but when he tries to hand neil a glass, he just says “oh, fuck off, aaron.”

andrew tries to ask what the fuck neil just called him, but neil tries to punch him before he can.

that’s right, just tries to full on deck andrew.

andrew finds the whole thing hilarious, because 1. even if andrew hadn’t caught neil’s arm, the punch wouldn’t have hurt at all. neil was moving too slowly and he probably would have missed anyway, and 2. because the first (and only) time neil ever mistook the twins, it didn’t end with him trying to kiss aaron, it ended with him trying to punch andrew in the face. neil’s gut reaction to seeing aaron is just punching him in the fucking face, and if that’s not fucking hilarious i don’t know what is.

anyway, andrew is now holding neil’s arm. neil just blinks, looks at him for a second, and goes “drew? when did you get here?”

andrew, now trying very hard not to laugh, is all like “time for bed” and drags neil back to their dorm.

neil has no memory of any of this happening until allison shows him the video she took.

andrew assures him that it was funny, but he still uses it to win arguments for a month afterwards.

sleep deprived dust can't recognize what's dream and what's real when he goes in and out of consciousness so i think dust is allowed to be incredibly reckless when he's awake but thinks he's in a dream. he will kill whoever passes by him (or attempt to. for him it's an instict to shoot bones anyways.) he will drink 4 bottles of alcohol just because he thinks its just a lucid dream. have incredibly loud conversations with phantom paps because he's asleep so nobody will hear him talk. or just have loud ass breakdowns because again he thinks he's asleep!!! nobody's gonna know what he gets up to in his dreams. and until someone (probably phantom paps) tells him that he's not asleep and this is reality he won't realize until he's done something really reckless

horror is seconds away from exploding dust's skull open with his magic while dust is trying to strangle him and FINALLY phantom paps tells him he's awake and dust snaps out of it. killer is walking around the house with bones sticking out of him like pins on a sewing pattern (casually too. another day in the life for him) and he just asks dust what that was about. dust just gets off of horror and shrugs his shoulders with an idk. and then walks away. this is the 6th time its happened this month

It's the moment after Harrows ascent to Lyctorhood and it's Harrow standing there with the sword in her hands weeping while the ghost of Gideon is pressed to her cheek to check, hands over hers, but behind both of them is the half real image of Alecto who's soul is fragmented and tethered Harrow while behind her is 200 tiny motes of light and where Harrows hands touch the sword there's thin wisps of smoke and you can see Commander Wakes screaming face, alive with fury, reflected in the flat of the blade.

Danny was having to come to terms with some dark and horrible truths about his new friend Jason. He’d had his suspicions for a while, but there seemed to be no way around it.

The evidence was piling up, and Danny just… couldn’t find a good light to put it in.

The different apartments, in different states of disrepair. The extremely flexible “work” hours that Jason always insisted could fit around whatever Danny’s schedule happened to be. The way he always seemed to have cash on hand, paid for everything out of pocket.

The only question was… could Danny accept it? It was distasteful. Downright upsetting; Jason seemed like such a good guy, and yet… he’d gotten himself steeped in an evil even greater than whatever had riled the Lazarus Pits.

Danny’s new friend was a fucking landlord.

i guess there really is a silver lining in season 3 being split into two parts, because on the one hand i'm like, "I NEED PART 2!!!!" but on the other hand i'm grateful it was split in two parts otherwise i'd be in the ground already and would miss tonight's finale of the rookie.
