He finds Crowley, whom pretends like nothing happened, nothing affected him, if not for the fact he can't look at Aziraphale

"What do you want?" He says, his back half turned to the angel. "Already got bored of your holy duties? Came to gloat over your good deeds?"

"Crowley..." Aziraphale gives a step forwards and Crowley flinches. "Just, listen to me-"

Crowley chuckles, coldly, running a hand through his hair, still not looking at him. "What for? We have nothing else to discuss." He throws a quick glance over his shoulder before turning his back fully towards Aziraphale. "Leave."

Aziraphale takes a deep breath, his hands fiddling with each other, attempting one more step forwards. "My dear-"

"Don't!" Crowley suddenly turns around. "You-!" One shaking finger pointed towards the angel. "You have no right! You-" He takes a shaky breath and looks up to the sky.

Aziraphale takes one last step forward, reaching out to hold his hand, which Crowley snatches like he has been burned. The angel tries to ignore how that hurts. He kind of deserved it. So he closed his eyes for a second, trying to will his tears not to fall.

"I know I hurt you," Crowley laughs with no real humor, still looking up. "But I need you. I need you so-"

"Yeah?" The demon chuckles again. "You only need me when the world is going to shit, oh Supreme Archangel? Is that all I'm good for?"

"Crowley, look at me." He didn't. "You know that's not it. You're my best friend!" Aziraphale takes a final step forward and holds Crowley by the lapels of his jacket more aggressively than he intended. "All I've done was for you. For the world. But Heaven's plans are more complicated than I imagined and I can't-! I tried-!"

"So you came to get your lap dog to help you after you kicked it?" He looks down, but still avoids Aziraphale's face. "It's too late for that, angel." Somehow he made the nickname sound like an insult on his tongue.

"Stop!" Aziraphale shakes him by the jacket. "I'm so sorry I hurt you, I am! It was never my intention! I-! I was trying to protect you. To fix it so we don't have to run anymore!" The angel slowly moves his hands from the jacket to frame the demon's face. He flinches once again, but doesnt go far. His lips a straight line, his hands closed in fists by his side. "Crowley..." Aziraphale tried to move his head so he was looking at him, to no avail. "Will you look at me?" He unconciously runs his thumb through the demon's cheekbone. "...Please?"

And that does it. That little word always does it. And a small smile takes over Aziraphale's lips when their eyes meet, even through the sunglasses. He feels Crowley stop his breathing and his arms slightly shaking, itching to reach out, but being forced to keep still.

"You made your choice." His voice was low and rasp, as if he was making a monumental force to speak. "And I clearly wasn't it."

"You misunderstand." Aziraphale's smile is sad, but Crowley doesn't look away. "You've always been my choice. You. And the world. I made a mess of things and went about it the wrong way, perhaps. But if I had to choose between running away with you and not being sure we would ever be safe and leaving and knowing you would be alright. Alive. I would make the same choice again. Because i would rather make the world safe for you than see you hurt. You have always been my priority, Crowley...Alright?"

A few moments pass in silence, looking at each other in the eye. Crowley's jaw quivers and he puts his hands over Aziraphale's, pulling them away from his face but not letting go.

"Fine." Aziraphale lights up. "But!" He raises a finger, pontuating the word. "You are not forgiven and I will be petty about this whole second coming bullshit until we save our world. Again." His expression softens and he squeezes Aziraphale's hands. "And maybe for a few more decades or so. And after this is all said and done, we are going to talk. A serious talk. About...everything."

Aziraphale smiles, squeezing his hands back.

"Its a deal, my dear."

U know the ask about spider seeing ghosts? Ikeeo thinking abour the idea that it only starts happening when he gets to the metkyina clan. The idea bring that spider needs extra protection there /reasons for ronal and friends to trust /accept him so obvs Eywa Provides. Idk, the idea of someone with hairstyles several decades out of date teaching him where all of the most dangerous places to avoid are, Ronals grandmothwr advising him on how to tackle her. They start to notice when he starts making armbands that noone has seen for generations

(also inherwnt in this ask is the idea of neteyam being the first ghost he sees-for ultimate tragedy maybe this is when they fall in love))

Oh my gosh I love this idea. I'm slowly becoming obsessed with Spider seeing ghosts instead of performing tsaheylu, maybe there will have to be a headcanon post about that alone.

-Spider's weaving nets expertly and when someone asks him how he says this person taught him and everyone is confused because no one lives here by that name, the demon must have misheard.

-Spider hANDLING RONAL that's so funny, generations of her family behind him, her mother and her grandmother and her mother in law like standing behind him and she's scolding him for not changing the wrap on his wrist sooner or something and Ronal's grandmother is behind her like "that means she likes you."

-Ao'nung trying to trick him like he did Lo'ak, and his uncle or something appears to be like "Nah, don't listen to that little shit" and Spider raises his eyebrows like "Oh really? I'm supposed to throw all the fish into the water for ilu and not just give them one by one huh?"

NOW DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON NETEYAM GHOST POST SPIDER'S KIDNAPPING YOU MOTHERFUCKER WHAT A TRAGIC CONCEPT?? THAT'S WHEN THEY FALL IN LOVE YOU BASTARD??

Okay so bear with me, you guys know that Spider fic trope where he gets to Awa'atlu and is kinda forgotten/hides his suffering until everything boils over because of how used to hiding he is and how overwhelmed everyone else is? That but now Neteyam ghost is just following him around attempting to get him to take care of himself, talk to him, tell him what happened. Talk to the family, ask for help. Neteyam and Spider always were friends but drifted apart when Neteyam got busy and Spider always thought it was because Neteyam was listening to Neytiri about him. He's just getting more and more frustrated, why is Neteyam sticking with him, why does he care now, when it's too late and Spider already caused his death? AWFUL. TRAGIC. I LOVE IT SOMEONE WRITE IT.

Update on my TMA binge: 1st season has been finished.

Below are my main sticking points:

The voice acting is so gooooooood!! Im loving everyone's voices - they all portray their characters emotions and personalities so well!

Jon kinda has the golden medal tho, since hes by far the most prominent voice

Abt the side characters - Martin took me by surprise so hard when he first spoke. I was expecting like..... A big, chill himbo. Kinda like Kronk or Launchpad but less loud, with a grave voice. (Ig part of me had imagined the Martin from Adventure Time?) I was def not expecting the voice of a prepubescent teen.

Anyway, he's baby. Precious to no end but also surprisingly useful and smart? He's an absolute 10/10 I mean. Would buy him sweets and listen to his rambles abt spiders (jon how can you call him a useless ass, he's so un-insultable??? q~q)

Sashaaaaaaa what happened to my favorite gurl???? And also the only one... She was literally the only reason everyone else escaped the worms, Sasha saved everyone's butts. By far the most competent and brave of the squad - a true Gryffindor u-u

But im afraid she died from whatever got her in the storage unit... I've been skimming through the comment section on each episode's youtube video, and some of them seem to imply she's dead for good... I reaaaaally don't want that to be true, she was so cool!! and the single holder of the Archives braincell!! I dont want her to die ;-;

And Tim!! Tim had the least amount of recorded time, but he's already a fave too. Him pretending to be Jon right before Sasha tackled him was so so funny. Also, ig he's kinda what I thought Martin would be. So no losses there!

Elias is.... Weird. Weird in the sense that he seems so obviously suspicious, i hesitate to pin the blame of anything on him. Like it's too easy to be true you know??? Like they're making him look shady on purpose to distract us from the actual shadiness going on. Idk though. He's shown up so little until now he might just have nothing to do with nothing, or be the big final boss. He's got me very confused (also his voice is sooooo cool, i love it. He gives me stern professor vibes)

How much the statements creep me out highly depends on what they're abt. Like, so far, the scariest have been Piecemeal 14#, Lost John's Cave 15#, and Infestation 39# purely because of all the screaming.

And abt the bigger story..... Idk about anything yet, but I'm very curious indeed.

The Dreamer #11 keeps coming back to me when i try to piece it together. Wth was supposed to happen to Gertrude?? Did it come to pass, and it was somehow how she ended up shot, or... did she find a way to kill herself so as not to have to face that fate?? And now Jon has to because he's in her place???

I rly dunno abt anything yet. Im just vibin and listening to all these spooks and having fun. I shall continue doing so rn actually.

okay so hugo and varian as wolfwalkers. who bites who

OH UR NOT EVEN READY. IVE BEEN SITTING ON THIS AU FOR MONTHS!!!!!!!!! had 2 scour a discord chat for stuff bc i KNOW i’ve talked about this before and i was right hehe. OK LISTEN UP!!!!!!

k so. donella is a wolfwalker and has been since before she could remember. she accidentally turns ulla when they’re teens but it works out fine bc ulla thinks this is awesome so everything seems cool for awhile. and then ulla gets w quirin and she has varian etc etc u know the drill but all the while she keeps the fact that she’s a wolfwalker hidden from quirin. UNTIL. one day she ends up getting killed by a wolf hunter while she’s in her wolf form. donella sees it happen and has to go tell quirin. oof ouch. then she moves faaaaar away to try and move on. varian ends up not being a wolfwalker and quirin is like oh thank god. but lol sorry man that wont last long. and then the events of tts happen as normal varian commits crimes and goes to jail quirin gets amberified etc. then post tts varian is struggling to fit in and move on cuz he’s got no friends his age and most people in town don’t like him bc of his history and he just feels very lonely and like he doesn’t belong anywhere. and one day he’s just kinda hanging out in the woods outside old corona and he stumbles across a wolf. the wolf is hugo ofc. hugo backstory in a moment. so hugo sees him and assumes oh shit human in the woods he’s gotta be a hunter so he instinctively attacks him and bites him on the arm, before quickly realizes wait nvm this person has no weapons and obviously wasnt expecting 2 see me so he jumps off him and runs away. but too late varian has already been bitten. so he starts doing wolfwalkery shit and is freaking out and trying to figure out what’s going on while keeping is a secret from his dad. meanwhile donella finds out what hugo did and basically tells him to get lost bc he’s too irresponsible and put them both at risk by changing someone who was supposed to be uninvolved in this. and for reference hugo got changed into a wolfwalker by donella when he was a kid bc she figured it would make him a more effective spy/conman. now he can kill people as a person or as a wolf haha 2in1 bonus. so anyway hugo goes back and finds varian and meets him while in human form and tries to be like heyyyy hi i have absolutely no ulterior motives for talking to you. btw have you been having any weird dreams lately. and they sort of hate each other for awhile bc hugo blames varian for being the reason donella kicked him to the curb and varian is mad at hugo for biting him. and wait you know what would be funny what if donella wants to kill varian bc she sees him as a liability and what if she says hey hugo u can redeem urself if you kill him for me bc i know he trusts u and then uh oh choice time. meanwhile both varian and hugo and constantly trying to not get murdered by wolf hunters (quirin probably for extra angst) (maybe idk cass or eugene too even more angst) (this is excessively long) (have a good day)

I'm high let me tell you about my life :)

Got off work at 6pm today, not late but the sun had already set so it felt late; silly day of doing nothing again, but my arms felt sore this morning even though I felt like I did nothing at all yesterday, basically just shuffling around boxes of alcohol, moved some plants, set up a couple of those plastic snow fences as "barricade" lmfao silly shit, more of the same today, but I guess those boxes of alcohol are kinda heavy and my body has been sedentary for a couple weeks. Feeling kind of bored and antsy, I want to be Working and I feel like I'm not doing much and I don't really need to be here; but it's ok, I'll take the money, it's mildly fun, I'm making new friends and learning new skills (adding "bev ops" to the resume after this gig haha)

Got back to the house , hung out with the homies a tiny bit; put flex tape over my leaky van window since it's supposed to rain tmro so hopefully that works, I should've dealt with this a year ago lmfao; smoked a bowl by myself on my private balcony (is that rude to not offer to share?? I just like my alone time !! )

T is rehearsing for (something?) downstairs and P is also a singer so he's giving feedback and support as she works through the song and it's really great to listen to, full support but I'm high and hungry and I don't want to go and like pass through that environment without having to socialize haha. Like I love that it's happening but I don't want to go be involved with it.

I've also had 3 beers !!! I should go eat food

Thinking about: this is a fascinating weird little chapter of my life and I should go participate rather than hiding... It's a fascinating little group of humans in this house and this event in general is super weird and cute ;

Feeling the funniest mixed feelings about T like she's kind of annoying but I also love her?? And I'm thinking about how I'm always preaching "unconditional love" but then turn around and talk shit about people; like I love her she's a sweetie and a funny character and we All can be annoying sometimes and she's just living her life in her own way ! Kind of feeling like a tiny baby crush feeling towards her ??? which I don't want to say out loud but I don't think anyone reads these posts so it's ok haha. Reminds me of my 4th grade diary lmfao. firstly,

i think i wanna try speaking more japanese, im learning it with my school rn and ik that i understand and can speak quite a bit. its just i forget vocab so easily :,) maybe ill start tryna speak/test more in my blog posts :>

i bought the $30 season pass for strinova hehe. i went level like 85-87 and then bought it and gave me and extra 25 to complete the battle pass :> idk if im gonna go ahead and do that again, it all depnds what in the pass and if i feel that ill be able to finish it :,)

i also pulled THE HERTA in hsr :> (my last post) but i speant all my stellar jades on her which is soooo sad. i was planning to get jade for her if i got herta early... but i didnt :( i think ill try to farm for jades and to see if i can pull jade :> i reeeeeeally wanna build a herta team hehe. i also still havent built sunday yet... or rappa for that matter. i think one day ill have to sit down and js do allll my grinding lol

also, i havent acc rll touched zzz since i completed the event but ive been feeling and itch to log again so maybe ill do that. im saving to get the vtuber girls and they supposedly are supposed to come out in march SO I REEEEALLY gotta be saving HARD.

also miku in fortnite. i legit downloaded fortnite JUST for miku and am acc lowk thinking abt buying her skin lol. only problem is that both of skins is like 4.6K vbucks and if I were to buy it id need to spend 50$ and i cant rlly afford to do that rn :(

ive also gotten like 10-ish hours into persona 5 :> the point to when your exploring the second castle. :D im reeeeally enjoying the game so far AND I CANT WAIT FOR FUTABA.

this next two weeks i have aaaaall my finals so iv been studying super hard. this friday i have my grade 12 math final exam and omggg im have been studying HARRD. I AM LOCKED IN FRFR. i rlly hope i do well so i atleast wont have to redo the exam when i do the course again :>

also eggrolls (the g u y, refer to past posts lol), COMPLETELY turned away from me when i went to see a friends that has lunch on the same floor w/ him. theres a whole group of ppl there and he eat w/ those ppl since his gf is there. And, my friend wasn't there so i was tryna ask someone ik we she was, and i looked to eggrolls for a minute (HE COMPLETLY avoided me btw) and HIS GF answered saying my friend isnt eating there anymore (or today idk what she said). but either way i found it kinda funny. idk if i mentioned this but i ended up never following him back on his public account, i js thought he didnt deserve it :) also there was a day we were doing some activity in class and he tried asking me for answers, i js pretended i didnt hear him and didnt move (there was also a group around his desk/behind me so it was plausable i didnt hear him) and i feel kinda proud of myself for not budging.

also there was a day during winter break i saw people from my old school when i was out with wifey 2. they were two guys who bullied me and were just assholes to me back in 8th grade. they just made fun of me for watching stuf like gacha and anime (listen i was in a phase back then) and also for wanting to dress more alternativly. acc, everyone in my class would say i was weird cause i wanted to dress differently and less basic (if i may say). that day i was wearing like a SCRUMPTIOUS fit. and after we saw them, i felt so proud of myself for being able to prove them wrong. like it felt so satisfying showing the ppl who put me down for being myself and prove that i executed it SO WELL.

anyways, i believe thats it for now :) i think another life update will have to come after exam unfortuanelty :(\

gillion and chip as hadestown!orpheus and eurydice

ok so i was listening to hadestown again because i love it dearly and i am still desperately trying to cope with ep 101 and i was like haha. chip and gillion as orpheus and eurydice. because yknow in the context of the actual myth you could compare it to the whole feywild arc and whatnot.

but then i listened to it more (more than halfway through the first song) and i realized it’s way better (worse) if you have it the other way around with chip as hadestown eurydice and gillion as hadestown orpheus. (there’s another way to read it too but we’ll get to that because it’s a bit more convoluted since. well it’s basically a game theory atp)

i’m going through this song by song because i have never felt happiness or peace ever

Road to Hell: ok so ignoring the gods for now. road to hell does eurydice a little dirty so for this song it’s just orpheus i’m talking about, but hermes describes him as a muse’s son and touched by the gods themselves. ok cool whatever so what Any Way the Wind Blows: “eurydice was a hungry young girl / a runaway from everywhere she’d ever been”? like yeah ok sure cool (side note? “ain’t nobody gonna stick around when the dark clouds roll” and  for chip, mr. constantly both afraid his crew will stay and will leave anytime something bad happens and who literally lost his family in the hole in the sea? silly.) plus for orpheus, “and this poor boy wore his heart on his sleeve / you might say he was naive to the ways of the world / but he had a way with words”. that’s my boy right there

Come Home with Me: most of this is just very funny (”oh, a liar and a player too?”) but “why would i become his wife?” “because he’ll make you feel alive” kinda got me a little tbh. and there’s also the ongoing theme of orpheus working on something to fix the balance of the world, which he can do because he’s touched by the gods.

Livin’ it Up on Top: most of this i’ll talk about when i talk about the gods because woo boy that should be a post of its own with how much psychological damage it caused me. but “there was a girl who had always run away / you might say it was in spite of herself / that this young girl decided to stay” for chip?

All I’ve Ever Known: yeahhhhhhhh nothing real metaphorical about this one. fnc shippers come get yalls juice ig idk that’s really all for that one

A Gathering Storm: title aside, the whole thing is eurydice being concerned about the practical way they will survive the winter while orpheus works on his song to make the world right again.

When the Chips are Down: hand to god i did not think about that pun until now. but yeah this whole song really sold it for me. “help yourself (to hell with the rest), even the one who loves you best / take if you can (give if you must), ain’t nobody but yourself to trust / aim for the heart (shoot to kill), if you don’t do it then the other one will” are interesting enough to think about with chip because basically his whole thing is not turning out like that but there are still some times (mainly early on) that he gets a little closer to those ideas. finally, “cast your eyes to heaven / you get a knife in the back”. put your life in the hands of anything but yourself and you get fucked over.

Wait for Me intro: alright one god i can pitch right now. hermes with the “so, just how far would you go for her? you got a ticket? yeah, i didn’t think so. course there is another way, but nah, i ain’t supposed to say.” being as mean as possible rn? hermes as niklaus would work as absolutely unfortunate as that is. which also makes the “ain’t no compass, brother, ain’t no map” line in the actual song even funnier since it’s hermes describing how to get to the underworld to save eurydice.

Wait for Me: the fates hit orpheus with the self doubt and worry that essentially he’s not the chosen one, part one. don’t really need to explain that one

Way Down Hadestown (Reprise): now hear me out on this. because hades’ whole bit is deals for people’s souls. eurydice signs a deal to give him her soul in exchange for not starving to death, and this song is her realizing what that really means and trying to defend it. which i will admit, makes it seem like it would work for niklaus too. but we’ll come back to that

If it’s True: “is this how the world is? to be beaten and betrayed and then be told that nothing changes?” now this one got me a little, between gillion’s ‘my last sin’ speech and what he said to jay in the block.

Intro to Wait for Me (Reprise): “it’s a trap?” “it’s a trial.” hermes explaining to orpheus and eurydice the conditions of them being allowed to leave. at the end of the day, according to hermes, their success rides on whether they trust each other and themselves. arguably the most recurring theme of riptide.

Doubt Comes In: orpheus doubting that he actually has the power to bring her back, thinking he has been tricked or is too weak to do it. in gillion’s own mind, his fatal flaw is not knowing if he believes he can be the chosen one or protect his friends. and for orpheus, he couldn’t.

a good amount of the songs are missing because i haven’t talked about hades and persephone yet. they’re. a separate issue

aaaaaaa saw your last post about the Black Samurai!Issachar AU and been thinking.... In a way, Issachar did achieve his dream. He did become a samurai, even if Mikado didn't let him.....

Also thinking about Flynn and the others getting sent off to kill the Black Samurai and only later realising it's Issachar they have to capture........ I think it might hit a little differently than what originally happened in Kiccigiorgi. Here they would have a bit more time to kinda think about it, make assumptions about the Black Samurai, listen to rumours or whatever, and make up a picture in their head - only for it to shatter once they realise who it is.

Idk just some stuff that I thought of. Tho I'm really interested in hearing your opinion!!

I am SO glad to hear this and I completely vibe with all of that; it is my thoughts EXACTLY as to how a Black Samurai!Issachar AU would go down. It def hits all the good points you brought up -- Issachar finally becoming a "Samurai" of sorts, his anger and jealousy transforming him into a nemesis, the sheer agony of the mystery building up until the grand reveal… *chef's kiss*

(It is funny in a way, because when I first played SMT4, I honestly did think that Issachar would fall into the jealous friend-turned-nemesis trope. The predictability was all there. And he still kinda did, but in a far lesser way than what I was expecting. I digress.)

As to how Issachar becomes the Black Samurai, I can imagine it going down similarly to canon: him being approached and seduced by demonic influence preying on his emotional vulnerability, coaxing him into becoming the Samurai he always wanted to be, but also full of so much resentment towards Mikado's bias and oppression. Maybe it is Lilith herself who approaches him to take her place in "liberating" the blind masses and seeding chaos. Issachar would effectively be selling his soul. And the rest is history.

It's so much fun to think about how much this would re-contextualize SMT4's plot and the cast as a whole. Issachar berating the Samurai for upholding the laws of an oppressive society and willfully abandoning those ill-fortunate. Taunting that the people they swore to protect have been killed by their own hands (because they became demons). Issachar speaking to Walter's Casualry roots and encouraging him not to become a scab for the kingdom, but instead become something more. The sheer agony Flynn would've faced at the Black Samurai's unmasking and how much MORE torn it would leave him. Maybe even Jonathan would feel some hesitance as well knowing that the Black Samurai is one of their own.

I suppose that just leaves the Ring of Gaea, but I can't really see Issachar becoming its leader. It would probably be more like Lilith/Yuriko committing full time to that while lending Issachar guidance.

My one criticism for svs is that we needed more adam scenes. He should have been added like really, unnecessarily early on in the fic and act as a third wheel in the fic. But like a third wheel soukoku did not want or ask for but he’s just kinda there they can’t really get rid of him. Chuuya and dazai in their divorce arc arguing and adam is in the background thinking “i could crack a really funny joke from this” (on that note i added the lines “Adam’s blabbering makes more sense now, so they act as if nothing has happened. “When I lift this veil, you will seal the deal with a kiss.” He can’t stop himself from laughing, “I hope you enjoyed that joke too.” “We didn’t,” Verlaine says from across the shrine. “Paul be quiet.”” In my “collection of fanfic lines I chuckled at” in my notes. yujiro! he jumps in before aizo could say anything (even more) stupid in his panic, and quickly saves aizo (and their reputations as lipxlip, sure) from further disaster.

it’s worth noting that after this, yujiro vowed to put kanami’s name down on his blacklist, which is pretty funny, considering she didn’t do anything to him directly, having targeted aizo instead.

exhibit b: the park scene

when aizo ran away from home in a fit of distress, yujiro was the one who was able to find him in his favourite place: a certain spot in the park. not only that, he also managed to encourage and support said blondie (by listening to the reasons behind his abrupt attempt at homelessness, and singing with him to bring his singing back in time for their first live), though he did get physical with aizo in the process.
