Hey friends, time got away from me so I've just got a couple of from-my-desk pix of dolls I cleaned up this afternoon to share with you today:

First, Vega from wave 2 of Lisa Frank Fab Friends, released in 200...1? I think? I have no idea if this line dropped all in the same year or if they spaced them out. There's a brunette variant of Vega out there but obviously I prefer the pink. Given her camo and dog tags I've always jokingly referred to this as the 'Lisa Frank Rainbow Liberation Army' doll XD

Next, 'Shopping Spree' French Kitty by Madame Alexander (as seen in a previous reblog), released in 2005. Tbh this doll was a huge disappoint when I got her; I don't remember her original retail price, but at the time I felt strongly it was too much. Still she's such an odd little thing, over time I've become rather fond of her, so despite her fairly cheap construction and abysmal articulation she hasn't been cast out of the collection so far.

I don't ever remember seeing these comic strip type vibe Lisa Frank images growing up, but I'm digging them now. I store the bulk of my collection in one of the clear totes with this design on it. So cute. So colorful. So fantastic!

needs: friends??? probably of the.....rich variety bc she’s never needed to cross paths with less than wealthy circles. but maybe some more normal college friends? she’s also part of piper’s fab it girl group so if ur part of that: hello!!! i’d also be down to give her an older sibling or two if anyone’s interested??? and then like idk exes and vapid hookups. also pls make her charity roommate that she can do this to.
