joy has always, always gotten what she wanted and has no real concept of, like, earth i guess. she window shops her way through life like a tourist with a black card, becomes fixated on one thing, and then throws it away when she gets bored. she means well, but mostly comes off as a hyperactive lunatic. her most recent fixation has been sitcoms that she can’t relate to and has decided to get a roommate bc sitcoms always have wacky roommate adventures!!! she doesn’t need the money, obviously, so she posts an ad for a room in her staten island penthouse for $5/a month.

and thus enters roomie who definitely thinks this is a scam, but joy instantly becomes fascinated about how working class they are and roomie probably thinks she might be a little unhinged and could definitely murder them in their sleep but!!!! they’d be stupid to pass this up right!!!! roomie still probably thinks joy is gonna sacrifice them to the illuminati and will never get used to her suddenly appearing in the hall behind her but eventually guards will be down, moments will be had.
