Happy Halloween! :D a Halloween Town Ienzo for your viewing pleasure!

I was able to do art for the first time in years recently, and I absolutely WENT OFF! The muses put me in a headlock and didn't let me go until they were satisfied, so this boi got done just in time for Halloween!

The amount of detail i put into this guy is INSANE! But the glazing and light filters messed up the small details that were only really visible anyway at 800% zoom, so i'll be including those under the cut.

Embroidery

Almost every embroidered symbol is unique, only mirrored on the other side of the coat. From top to bottom: the Nobody symbol, the Heartless symbol, a symbol found in the old mansion in Traverse down combining the fleur-de-lis heart and a crown, the symbol of Ansem the Wise, the Kingdom Hearts symbol, a stylized rose, an eight pointed star, the player pin from The World Ends With you and the one from the sequel, a symbol found in Scala ad Caelum, a rounded star, a book, scales of justice, a beaker, Sephiroth's symbol with the wing inside the meteor, Shinra's logo, the buster sword from Final Fantasy 7, a chocobo, a cactuar, a moogle, fleur-de-lis, Red XIII, the Unversed symbol, Nobody symbol, Heartless symbol, Kingdom Hearts symbol, Roxas’ symbol, Eraqus’ symbol, numbers 1-14 in roman numerals.

The general mirroring stops here, and the symbols on the right are: a sun, moon, pentacle, meteor, hidden Mickey/lucky emblem, demon and angel wings on a heartless symbol representing Riku, sea salt ice cream and a thalassa shell for Xion, and Roxas’ symbol and a cut-off Oathkeeper keyblade.

On the inside of the coat’s embroidery are funny easter eggs to fill out the space because I ran out of ideas, from right to left: Sans, Loss.jpg, Amogus, Anarchy symbol, the cool S, the symbol for pi, Bill Cipher, Kirby, Ali from “Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun”, Elmo, a rat, a bat, the Palestinian flag and a watermelon (free Palestine!), two band-aids, the Pokémon type symbols for ghost psychic and dark-types, and the Genshin Impact element icons in order as they appear on the loading screen.

i cant talk shit about DE too much because i didnt play it. i did watch a walkthrough but you know, its a choice based narrative game so not actually having my choices picked kinda defeats the purpose. all i can say is it tries a LOT of things, and the success rate on those things are very hit and miss. i can SAFELY say im not a big fan of LiS becoming just... a max caulfield series, i liked it as semi-connected anthology of random people who are granted a bizarre power and forced to bust a mystery than just, hey folks its max again! the pricefield stuff could have been better and thats me being very very polite about it but im just a fan so my opinion on how a ship is handled means nothing to the actual developers.

at the very least, the comics make it clear that theres alternate timelines and universes out there so inherently you CAN just ignore it, and the fact that the lis2 easter egg photo is different kind of hints that this is an offshoot of everything but still, its kinda sucky at least to be because i feel you could do pricefield splitting in more impressive and emotionally impactful manner and the way its handled in DE makes me think it was a very rushed decision and approved of just as fast.

this isnt me being a hater, im a grown ass woman and have shit to do but yeah this is pretty much all i can coherently describe about what the DE experience, as someone viewing it from a distance.

That's a pretty silly name for some lad buried in Goodsprings, a place that seems t' 'ave never had nobility. Unless you think, as I do, that Count was, in fact, his first name (like how people have the first name Baron). In reality this is probably just a joke name, but I like my theory. Speakin' of silly, tellin' capitals from lowercase wi' the words 'ere is 'ard because the all use capital forms, but the lowercase is smaller, so R and r both am R, but lowercase is a smaller R.

Jay Frenzal

Full Epitaph: Jay Frenzal

This is one that gets some trivia on a Wiki, so I'm jus' gonna copy an' past that trivia 'ere "Jay Frenzal is a reference to a song of the same name from the album B Is for B-sides by American ska-punk band Less Than Jake. The song, in turn, is a reference to Jason Whalley of Frenzal Rhomb, who has one line on the track." I 'ave no connection t' any of that means, but it seems t' be true. An Easter Egg in the graves, that.

The Wiki also mentions somethin' for Verl, there's a bit of graffiti on the Vault 22 sign that says 'Verl is Boss!' ('Boss' is underlined, but I car seem t' do that on Tumblr). I 'ighly doubt these am the same Verl, but if y'think they am they can be. I think both Verls deserve their own individual Wiki pages.

Danielle "Mutant" Melilli

Mutant's got a very cool name, I think. Other than that, we can only speculate how mutated Mutant was. Maybe a 6th toe, like y'can get in Fallout 2, maybe she wasn't mutated at all, but was strong or somethin'. We will never know, but she did 'ave a good name.

Speakin' of cool names, who can forget Whiskey Snakes Jr's name? I'm not givin' the 'Jr' a dot because there seems t' be no dot. Also at the Grave is the Goodsprings Snow Globe. Maybe Whiskey was a collector like House, or just enjoyed that snow globe of the town they lived in. We will never know, but Whiskey had a good name and Whiskey Snakes Sr was right t' send it down another generation.

Jo-Jack JR

Full Epitaph: RIP Jo-Jack JR

On the topic of Juniors, Jo-Jack JR a name that kinda gives me 'Jagged Jimmy J' feelin's (no dot because there's no dot again, but the R is clearly capitalised). Jo-Jack is a fine name, but I'm less certain Jo-Jack SR's choice was a great one than Whiskey Snakes Sr, sorry Jo-Jack SR and by extension Jo-Jack JR.

Another one that 'as actual trivia on the Wiki, it says "Benny Lava is part of a line from the song Kalluri Vaanil, which gained fame in the English-speaking world due to a 2007 viral video in which its lyrics were phonetically translated into English, famously rendering the line "Kalluri vaanil kaayndha nilaavo?" as "My loony bun is fine, Benny Lava!"" which is interestin', I s'pose. This also means that Benny was smokin' near another Benny an' probably didn't know (nor would he have probably cared). Still, another Easter Egg in this graveyard.

Another 'Mr Initial Lastname'. R. Horn's 'Mr' has no dot, which is the way we generally spell 'Mr' in the UK, y'know. I doubt Horn was anythin' other than American, though. R. Horn is also useful because someone posted the full grave names texture file on his wiki page, which makes readin' those epitaphs an 'ell of a lot easier.

Mr J. R. Smith

The Bear is a good nickname. It can paint a picture or two, but we will never be able t' guess which picture was the correct one, if any. Was Sara big and hairy? Wild and dangerous? Able to carry the weight of the world? All three and more? We can only guess.

The 16th Named Grave

So, that was the 15 featured graves, but y'may've noticed I put in brackets up at the top 'or 16, we'll get to that'. See, in the texture file PNG that's shown on Mr. R. Horn and The Bear's wiki pages, there's a 16th name. Lemme grab an' paste said image.

Y'may notice at the bottom the 16th name: Josh "The Kodiak" Anders. A name that, t' my knowledge, appears on no grave in the game (correct me if I'm wrong).

So, why was The Kodiak cut, I wonder? Well, I 'ave a theory: redundancy. We already 'ave The Bear, why would we need another grave wi' someone who's nickname is also related most likely to the Kodiak Bear species? A few names repete themes, but I'd guess someone thought that those two were jus' too close. If we indavidually agree wi' that or not is each of our personal business, but that's 'ow it is, I think.

Conclusion

So that was all 15 (16) names in Goodsprings Cemetery. Decide for yerself which ones y'like the most an' like the least. I've probably shown me bias 'ere already, but whatever y'like y'like.

Personally, I'm glad t' 'ave things like these names in Fallout New Vegas. I'd've liked 'em more if there was someone in Goodsprings tied to someone in these graves, if there was a Smiles or somethin' there, y'know they do that in Red Dead Redemption 1 wi' graveyards an' NPCs. I liked that, added interconnection that was marellous, in my opinion, but I'm still 'appy wi' what we got.

So, yeah, that's that. Think about these graves a little more next time ya rob 'em, I guess. Hahahaa.

The first generation of newly formed stars in the nebula are believed to have condensed some three million years ago, igniting in the middle of a large hydrogen cloud. Radiation from these young stars shaped a bubble of hot gas, which has kept expanding ever since. The stellar winds and ultraviolet radiation within the region are compressing cold hydrogen, resulting in more new stars being formed inside the nebula.

The pillars of dust and gas within the Eta Carinae Nebula will be destroyed by the young stars over the next 100,000 years and all that will remain will be a new open star cluster.

Lust and Wrath

I wanted to include some talky talky beneath the pieces themselves about some of my thoughts and inspiration.

Wrath (I ended up including a lot of details): There's nine moons total, for the nine realms of norse mythology

The wolf, rabbit, and weasel are for Freya, Ray, and Gil

The three big moons behind Freya are the full moon, the blue moon, and the harvest moon

I gave Iduna the half short half long cut she had during her confrontation with Inner Wrath, and also incorporated some of his features, like the blackened limbs and the gold bangles around her ankles

The golden apple is both for her name and for Freya

The gold band around her arm is where Inner Wrath cut her

The sword stabbing the heart is modeled off of the sword from Maid of Orleans, Wrath pair's combi attack, and the star surrounded by fire being, along with the stabbing aspect, is modeled off of the Sacred heart of Mary, since Freya's title is "The Mother", and the confrontation with Inner Wrath, where Iduna allowed herself to be run through as an act of defiance against senseless violence

Lust: The Easter vibes are strong with this one lol. I also wanted to use more of an "Art Nouveau" type of look (which I later somewhat regretted. Inking all those tiny details was nerve wracking, but painting them was worse) and included the Fleur De Lis at the top to honor the heavy French aspects Lily and the Alicein at large possess, especially since it's a mark of the monarchy and Misono is a little king.

Each of the circles along the top has a design directly corresponding to the eggs of Inner Lily's world. I wanted to use as much pastel colors as possible to carry the Easter theme through, since Strike has talked about how Easter is a core part of the design motif for Lily in some of the commentary for 10.5, so it's fitting

Doing these has made me focus more on the symbolic choices behind the Servamps themselves, too, and Lily's is the most thoughtful, imo

his name is "It All Ends With Love" and he has both death and life incorporated the most stunningly into his character. He embodies the Spring aspects of rebirth, renewal, and rejuvenation which Easter absorbed into its celebrations from other pagan holidays.

The start of a new cycle, death and life. Death's scythe and Lust which leads to life. A repenting angel and a fallen monster. The withered husk of a flower's head will fall and decay, providing nutrients for future flowers to come. After the cold death of winter comes the gentle life of Spring. In this, "Snow Lily" is the most fitting name a man like Lily could possibly have.

Complete review on moon knight

Now that all of the episodes have premiered I want to list out the pros and cons of the series and what they feel it was lacking in:

Pros:

oscar isaac’s performance playing two characters

the positive and accurate representation of egypt, egyptian mythology and arabs

the initial fast paced editing lending to the theme of unexplained events in the first two episodes

visually appealing and comic accurate costume of moon knight and mr. knight

the lack of mcu connectivity, no annoying easter eggs or cameos to weigh the show down

Cons

6 episode shows will always. ALWAYS. be the bane of my existence. there’s never enough time to show everything and while inferencing is a skill more people need, this is just not the way to do it. the first half of episode 3 should’ve been dedicated to showing marc taking over the system to do khonshu’s bidding in the Alps, and him leaving the museum/getting the fish/cleaning up the apartment, showing us his perspective of what he was doing while steven is not in charge of the system.

the lack of flashbacks to aid Arthur Harrow as a character. i hate the lazy method of “Telling not showing” aka dialogue used to explain character backstory and motivations. While i hate wandavision with a passion, at least they had a scene in the past with Agatha’s original coven, showing us exactly who Agatha really is. I’m sure disney could have scrounged up more money to de-age Ethan Hawke and show us Harrow as Khonshu’s moon knight and why he became disillusioned with him in a 5–10 minute scene.

Just the lack of flashbacks period. Show us Marc’s origin story in the military, as a mercenary, being betrayed and dying, resurrection as Moon Knight, meeting and marrying Layla (to aid why we as the audience should even care about this relationship), divorcing Layla and having Steven take over the system. A whole episode or two should’ve been dedicated to all of this. This is why i absolutely loathe 6 episode miniseries. Oscar isaac categorically lied when he said this show is a character study when it cant even be bothered to study its characters.

Erasing Marc Spector’s Jewishness. i am not jewish so i can’t speak to this fully but i just don’t understand why changes were made to his backstory involving his father being a rabbi and other problematic things.

The portrayal of DID. I don’t have DID so i’ll just link the thoughts of a system who does.

The show’s lack of tone. It cant decide whether it wants to be lighthearted or dark as there are scenes that tonally contradict each other.

The cgi. I don’t care that this is a television streaming show, this is a Marvel property and if their movies can have decent visual effects, then so can their shows.

so to conclude, as a marvel tv show it is better than wandavision and loki and i did derive some enjoyment and entertainment but the bad far outweight the good here. and it is nowhere near as good as daredevil which is what the creators really should’ve aimed for here.

I think whatever Taylor/Lily had was on the rocks or ending by the summer of 2019 when the video came out. But I’ve always seen the two snakes mating and turning into butterflies as a Tily reference and see other Tily references throughout the Lover album - link.

PART 1 RECAP —

CHAPTER 1. 1. Edward coming out to his parents when he was fourteen and getting his first ever boyfriend named Nico Woods. 2. Amelia goes to highschool and starts dating Stefan; Harry’s best friend Oliver likes her but she’s unaware of his feelings. 3. Amelia disobeys David’s orders, is deemed ‘rebellious and wild’ by the press and is sent off to a boarding school. 4. It’s discovered that Nico was being paid to take photos of inside the De Villiers Mansion, more specifically of Amelia. 5. Nico is caught and Edward breaks up with him. 6. Stefan and Amelia end up breaking up due to him cheating on her and missing her birthday party.

CHAPTER 2.

1. Amelia is single and looking to just have ‘fun’ with a boy. She starts flirting with Oliver; Harry warns her to not hurt his feelings. 2. Edward is dating Gabriel, a guy he met at University. They have been dating for two years. 3. Amelia starts messing around with Oliver, who clearly cares and has feelings for her. She pretends she doesn’t like him back due to her going on an exchange program for a few months. 4. Harry starts dating Margaret. 5. Amelia gets into a misunderstand with Oliver after a boy kisses her and they’re photographed together; she confesses to him that she likes him. They start dating. 6. Edward abdicates his claim on the throne two years later due to parliament rejecting Gabriel as his husband.

PART 2 RECAP —

CHAPTER 1.

1.  Amelia and Oliver’s engagement. 2. Nihon War: Gardania is an Ally.    → Oliver and Harry enlist. 3. Amelia gets pregnant with Emilia. 4. Oliver comes back from war. 5. Amelia/Oliver wedding happens. 6. An alleged Cheating Scandal with photos and videos against Amelia is leaked. 7. After two weeks, it’s revealed that it was all fake. The person responsible, Regina Howard, hands herself in. 8. Emilia is born.

CHAPTER 2.

1. Regina, in exile, sneaks into Gardania under a fake name. 2. Amelia, Oliver and Emilia attend Oliver’s mother birthday party at Howard Manor. Regina, incognito, is also there. 3. Regina, finding Amelia alone, shoots her three times before escaping. 4. Amelia is taken to the hospital, is under a coma for three weeks.5. Regina is caught and charged. 6. Amelia wakes up. 7. Emilia has her first ever birthday party with friends. 8. Harry and Margaret get married.

CHAPTER 3.

1. Amelia and Oliver have three more kids, Harry and Margaret have two daughters. 2. Following a failed public speech, Emilia is made fun of by other kids and criticized by the media. 3.  Amelia cuts off Emilia’s free time; Oliver disagrees strongly.  They argue often and sleep in separate rooms. 4. Kids make fun of Emilia’s hobbies. 5. After Emilia cries in front of her, Amelia realizes she’s putting too much pressure on her. Emilia gets her free time back. 6. A classmate that dislikes Emilia lies and doesn’t tell anyone about her birthday party; 7. Emilia finally stands up to her. 8. She delivers a successful public speech.
