Album Number Four Hundred Fifty Two. “Fleetwood Mac” is the tenth studio album by #fleetwoodmac , released on 11 July 1975 by #repriserecords . It was the band's second eponymous album, the first being their 1968 debut album; it is sometimes referred to among fans as the White Album. This was the first Fleetwood Mac album with #lindseybuckingham as guitarist and #stevienicks as vocalist, after #bobwelch departed the band in late 1974. It was also the band's last album to be released on the Reprise label until 1997's The Dance (the band's subsequent albums until then were released through #warnerbrosrecords , Reprise's parent company). My copy is the 1977 reissue on Reprise Records - MSK 2281. He can be earthy and trippy in one pass, but he makes it work with his unique production motif and style rooted in classic California pop. Here’s a cover of “Go Your Own Way” I did with peter chauncey + Daniel Berkman, who took the song into a “blue light in the basement” vibe. Album Number Four Hundred Fifty One. “Heroes Are Hard to Find” is the ninth studio album by #fleetwoodmac , released on 13 Sept 1974. This is the last album recorded with #bobwelch , who left the band at the end of 1974, and who was replaced by #lindseybuckingham and #stevienicks . It was the first Fleetwood Mac studio album recorded in the US (in Los Angeles) as well as their first to enter the top 40 of the Billboard 200 album chart. The title track was edited and issued as a single but it failed to chart. My copy is on #repriserecords - MS-2196. Without a successful single to support the album, it still managed to peak at No. 34 on the Billboard 200 chart, which at the time was the highest Billboard placing for any Fleetwood Mac album.
