The most insane Warrior Nun pairing ever to grace my mind? Lilith/Reya. I have no idea why. I was probably thinking where to put Lilith in an Avadriel situation.
Maybe Lilith was really mad Ava "stole" Adriel, so she barged into the Other Realm to... pin down God.
Maybe then both of them showed up at Adriel's cathedral.
-
Lilith: guess what bastard, I fucked your mom.
Reya: I haven't had such a great time ever since you were conceived, son~
Adriel: MOTHER PLEASE STOP 😨😬
Ava: *laughing in the background*
-
Or maybe it's normal, Lilith went to the Other Realm for answers (or something), and they liked each other.
It's really among Reya, (my OC) Adriel's sister, or (my OC) Adriel and Areala's son. In the version where Ava is reincarnated Areala, she would have such a great time reminding Lilith she's her mother-in-law.
I really prefer Lilith/Therion or Lilith/Balthazar, Reya's someone I find difficult to imagine in romantic situations. My headcanon is, she had a husband, his name was... Kronos (obviously), he started causing trouble, so she killed him, and used his organs for her creation projects. Made Tarasks out of his teeth for example.

Listen, but what if Reya planned to shove Ava in her direction all throughout season 1 and 2 because she's actually trying to get the halo?
We don't see her crossing from the other side to the human realm until the very end of season 2. We're told by Adriel that she's not what everyone thinks she is. We're never explicitly shown wether the halo belongs to "god/reya" or hell/the devil, but we do know that a powerful being on his own (Adriel) considers it to be a crucial weapon for whatever he was planning on doing. Who's to say Reya wouldn't have the same kind of interest in it?
What if we never see Reya crossing from the other side to here because she can't do it by herself and that's why she needs to either be taken by other entities (the wraith demons that dragged them to be imprisoned by Adriel) or have the halo directly delivered, and so Reya ends up laying piece after piece on a chess board so Beatrice and Lilith would willingly send Ava through the Arc right into Reya's doorstep

what if reya has been with lilith in the way that adriel has been with camila for the entirety of season 2? we know adriel is more of a narcissist than reya, if he’s speaking directly to vincent and camila, it’s possible that reya has been using a more subtle method to persuade lilith to do her bidding.
maybe reya knows that fighting vincent’s men and speaking to her mom will make lilith’s soul more vulnerable and uses that to persuade her further
what if reya compelled lilith to seek out Jillian to understand more about the portal from the other side? if she has less power here it would make sense that she knows less about the possibilities of traveling between dimensions
reya could’ve also been the motivator to lilith seeking out adriel and the kiss
we know that lilith was possessed by reya in season 1, but maybe it just never went away
maybe it was always lilith’s destiny to end Michael’s life, because him, ava, and Lilith are the only ones known to be able to travel between the two worlds without being trapped or killed. Maybe reya secretly wants to eliminate them all to regain control of her own realm
AND WHAT IF CAMILA COULD TEACH LILITH HOW TO FOLLOW THE ENERGY BACK INTO REYAS MIND, LILITH COULD BE THE KEY TO BEATING REYA AND GET THE REDEMPTION ARC SHE DESERVES

other half of the last metaphorical kitkat
absolutely avalil could probably teach a dancing class for dancing around issues
Feel like avalil defo also have a tendency of bringing in distractions when beatrice tries to talk to em about issues as well
it’s not at all on purpose, they don’t even realize they’re doing it, but obviously that doesn’t change they’re doing it
as a matter of fact, that’s actually what i was thinking is the main or one of the main reasons for beatrice’s running away and then getting mcdonalds n stuff, but then lilith found her and sat down and communicated with her and while avalil still have heavy avoidance habit and are unaware, it gave beatrice hope
oh yeah defo on mary & shannon’s concern regardless of whether or not they’ve had past bad experience with vincent. it’s defo also just a basic stranger danger thing, even without all the supernatural stuff & reputations, because your friend going through a major traumatic event & upheaval to their life, and then suddenly shacking up with a couple of people who not only are strangers to you, but are/were complete strangers to your friend before they shacked up? not just red flags galore right there, they’re bathing and swimming in a pool of red paint
i’m 👀👀👀👀 at the concept of ava having unwittingly stolen what was gonna be reya’s method of becoming immortal. ooo wait hold on up, what if she’s an even shadier parallel to jillian, but instead of all her shady and morally dubious being for someone else, it’s all for her (reya’s) own sake
probably took ava in under her wing and became a mentor and/or motherish figure to her, but unknown to ava until too late, it was just to boost reya’s pr image so she wouldn’t have as much scrutiny on her and her shady actions
Also q q, would you say lucifer’s a good and/or least a fun show, or?
Yeah, it's not intentional, it's just the habit they've formed over millennia. Neither of them like to talk about their problems, so they changed to adapt to each other's coping mechanisms. Lilith participates in whatever zany antics Ava needs to distract herself, and Ava makes herself a reliable but quiet safe zone for Lilith to hide in. It's all done with the utmost love but it's soooo unhelpful in the long-run. And it all comes to a head when Beatrice, young, lonely, modern (She's a modern woman, Lilith, modern women talk about their feelings, isn't that horrifying?) gets involved. Bea has spent her entire life feeling ignored and like she has to repress herself, and it's not great when she thinks Ava and Lilith are doing what her family did: ignoring her needs and fears. So things come to a head when she runs away, and Lilith goes to get her, and after the mushroom-fueled binge they have their talk and Lilith actually makes an effort to be open with Bea and let Bea be open with her.
Ava is a tougher nut to crack because she'll let them open up to her, but she won't reciprocate, not until things really boil over and she can't distract herself anymore and just breaks down one day (maybe when Jillian asks Bea to turn Michael into a werewolf and all of Ava's Diego-based trauma comes back in full-force). I really think Ava has had to deny herself the chance to heal from things as a means of survival. Sure, she's immortal, but time can kill where normal means won't work, and when you experience the kind of things she has, alone and surrounded by danger on all sides, time can drive you mad if you let it. Of course, spending literal thousands of years with these untreated psychological wounds will also drive you mad, you just won't realize it.
When Beatrice decides to live with Ava and Lilith full-time, Shannon and Mary both show up to give the Shovel Talk of the century. We're talking claws and fangs out, eyes yellow, every word comes out as a growl, the works. Ava and Lilith are not really impressed, but they do swear an oath to take care of Bea and treat her well. Shanmary are still wary of them, and they take measures to ensure that Beatrice gets plenty of non-girlfriend time to keep her balanced.
I have so many ideas for Reya's whole deal, generally. Since we never got the chance to really know anything about her, the field is wide open for any interpretation. Maybe she's an amoral sociopath who manipulated Ava to get the philosopher's stone. Maybe she's a morally dubious pragmatist who thought her becoming immortal (through whatever means necessary) would be the best thing for everyone, including Ava. Or maybe Ava swallowing the stone wasn't an accident but exactly what Reya wanted. Maybe Ava was a test subject, or (if Reya is Worse JillianTM) she's like Michael and Reya was trying to save her. Who knows? Certainly not us. And probably not Ava either, because I can't imagine Reya was very forthcoming with answers regardless of the truth, and she also may not remember everything after so much temporal separation.
The real question, then, is whether Reya managed to find another way to become immortal or otherwise persist into the modern day. And if so, where is she and what the fuck is she up to now?
And I would recommend Lucifer, it's very fun! I love the characters and the take on biblical lore. It is a police procedural too, so if that's not your jam, then don't feel like you have to watch it. But Lucifer as a snarky, bisexual menace in LA is very fun.

Alright, I’ve seen warrior nun and here are some thoughts. (spoilers) 1) Beatrice is Bae 2) Watching Mother superion’s glow up from “Harsh headmistress” to MILF was delightful 3) The costumes were fabulous. They didn’t always make sense, but boy were they fun to look at. (Lilith’s glittery blue scale eye makeup? Slay, girl) 4) it is criminal that Ava and Bea didn’t figure out their feelings before hiding out in the Alps together, because that would have been a lovely honeymoon. 5) It is CRIMINAL that Mary never came back. I mean, I’m sure the actress had better things to do season 2, but as she was the objectively best character of season 1--we were robbed, okay? Lilith, in particular, was robbed. She needed Mary back bad. Also, I see you gun-wielding black nun added in for the final battle. You aren’t Mary. We aren’t fucking fooled. Mary isn’t that easily replaceable--no scabs! 6) what the fuck was that plot, though?  6a) Adriel makes it clear that he is telepathically linked to divinium, because its his armor. we know this is true because he used it to talk to Miguel (even though he does not appear to be wearing armor in the flashback, and we see him making armor out of trask bones, so...bit fuzzy on what constitutes as “his armor” exactly) point being: why the fuck wasn’t that developed into a plot point in season 2? Why did the nuns keep using divinium weapons and wearing divinium jewelry, etc? Why wasn’t every piece of divinium (including badboy- priest’s tattoos) considered a security risk? that would have presented a super compelling limitation on our heroes...but no. disregarded completely. 6b) For an underground sect whose primary millenia-long mission was to exorcise wraith demons out of people, they did an awful lot of none-of-that when encountering countless possessed “zealots.” Hard to root for “saviors” who see possession was grounds to kick them around and stab them impressively--as opposed to, you know, saving them from trauma or damnation. while it didn’t track for the characters to actually feel that way, the writing set it up as if they did by never showing them in the process of saving anyone, even in cases where they weren’t outnumbered.  6c) If divinum is the only thing that can kill demons and you can’t use divinium anymore on account of Adriel spying on you through it--fine. Tragic cost of the high-stakes situation. It’s hard for the audience to see innocently possessed people getting beaten up, but it’s hard for the characters too. We’re all in it together.  If, however, you get to keep your divinium due to some gaping plot hole f*kin stab the f*kin demons with it! G*D! 6d) Why the hell did Reya leave without her Halo? Has she not been sending trasks after it for Millenia? Could she not have used her “vast powers” to cross the room? She could even have left Eva some divine life-support as a “thank you” compensation.

What i still wonder is why Lilith sided with Adriel at all. It cant be just because he "opened her eyes".. i need a psychological reason. Was it cause he was the first to "accept" what shes become since she returned? Cause the sisters were still a bit suspicious of her and her mother sucks. But is that enough to just side with a man doing evil shit. What do you guys think?
