Eyes

These little guys are the holder of the most complex vision on the animal kingdom! Oh boy, I spend a good time studying about it lol

- He has hexocular vision (each eye having 3 iris and moving independently)

- Wind's eyes are divided into three morphological sections: midband, dorsal hemisphere and ventral hemisphere.

*The Dh and Vh sections have sensitivity to 4 types of polarized light ( 2 diagonals, horizontal and vertical ) which allows a better analysis of the environment in therms of dimensions, perspective, distance, composition... (in other words , he can almost feel the world with his eyes. He uses this to find weak points in his opponents )

*MB is divided into 6 sessions that have 16 types of photoreceptor cells and cells sensitive to circular light polarization (which allows him to see ultraviolet and infrared)

-The image is processed by the eyes instead of his brain, which allows faster reactions

- Wind possesses selective vision, being able to change the "setting" of his eyes in a blink

Mermay Prompt 1

I'm finally doing a mermay like I wanted to with mer!Xev

this is the only one form the prompt list, but I felt it would be nice to introduce mer!xev again

plus this gives me an excuse to finally experiment with a little mermaid au I wanted to do for a while but didn't know how to change it up for x and zero p much

and, as per usual, I'm doing this challenge the way drawtober does theirs because it's easier for me

week 2 is on the way!! :3

Carnival mermaid Steve where Steve works at the medieval festival and working as a mermaid doin maneuvers and tricks, using his co-captain swim team skills. (Plus if u wanna sprinkle is some HoH Steve in there where he signs at robin while he’s in the tank or something)

With this comes pirate Eddie, putting on a whole show with music n sword fights. Being as dramatic as possible n just having fun. (Plus I just wanna see him with all the shiny earrings n being a lil gremlin like this)

Just imagine them meeting up like this, mostly because Chrissy got the mermaid job as well (n now imagine robin meeting her). Eddie would have a full on gay panic cuz, let’s face it, it’s Steve in a mermaid outfit. So they become friends, Eddie ends up gifting Steve just a bunch of random shiny/pretty stuff that he finds (cuz that boy is a crow, u can’t tell me he doesn’t collect the most random stuff). N then steve finds random shiny thing that reminds him of Eddie n finally gifts him something like this in return.

Olympe doesn’t understand corset laces, but he helps out anyway. The dancer seems surprisingly familiar….Ben DOESN’T want him to recognize her. But Ben DOES want to get to know Olympe, her strange merman friend from the docks.

They take a lil walk out to the beach:

Now I think there should be a g/t interruption.

Should they get to kiss? Should the kiss itself trigger a transformation back into Olympe’s giant merman form? Should he try to run off, and she follows him to the sea? She knows at this point that he’s a sea monster, but he doesn’t know that she’s a woman- and a dancer, at that!

What’s a girl to do? How should Ben reconcile these two identities, as a boy by day and girl by night?

Open to ideas on where to take this scenario in a ✨ g/t direction ✨ involving Olympe’s secret giant merman self 🧜‍♀️
