vivivivivi is such an inspiration for me. i don’t really know how to use any other music programs, they’re all so confusing and hard to start with, so i only use beepbox. and like. the power. how can you convey such emotion in a few instruments? such complicated feelings, the synths layering onto each other, i can hear the way they use the volume of a note to add different effects and it’s just. like.

in my head conveys such specific things, like. the way that ‘the beginning of the end’ seems like a normal song except for the ways it conveys this unease in just little note choices. the way some of the songs create such agonizing dread that it feels like my experiences exactly (like when i’m Resisting The Horrors). the way that flies swarming my skull uses growing, overpowering noise that feels like you’re having a panic attack, and the next track (the penultimate one, pretend im not breathing) releases it with guitar, strummed in such a hesitant way that makes me think it’s someone who’s hands are still shaking, trying to let yourself feel something that isn’t a bad emotion, contrasting to the rest of the album it’s just like.

their music is so good how!!!! if i was trying to convince someone that you can make good art without paying thousands of dollars for The Best Things, this is what i’d show them. even listening a little to vivivivivi’s songs you can clearly hear the skill they’ve built with pandora’sbox. something i keep admiring and wanting to put in my own music is the way they know how to control the mood, the emotion. to be able to convey the exact feel or setting, to paint a picture in someone’s mind using just the 8bit instruments you’ve got. to bring your viewer through the exact course you want them to chart, it’s like…. just amazing.

another person who makes good instrumental music is AZALI. they don’t make the same kind of music where you FEEL an emotion, nor do they use the same software bc they have fl studio. but it’s still so great how they can make a setting, and just. the music. is so good

this is why i love music : well, a part, because i also just love music for music’s sake. but one of the reasons is i love how i can clearly hear the artist’s skill. i can pick through each layer of music like, the drums are doing this, i can hear a melody there, i can hear how they’re using the instrumental to accentuate their point. like something i always loved about the mind electric (chonny jash cover, not all 3 i’m talking about the cover called the mind electric right now) is how the drums are so erratic and basically the main instrument, and you can hear the drums emphasize the lyrics. i love octave changes, i love how sometimes people make the instruments go quiet so you need to listen to the lyrics, i love how sometimes they can well. not do that and make the instrumental even more powerful.

For the basics , learning Korean is obviously a good start ! There are lots of online free courses for that !! :D

Familiarize with Korean beauty standards ( if you haven't already ! ) - by being in the kpop community you can already learn a lot , but following korean influencers can help too !

Learning dances - there are lots of tutorials on Youtube that gently teach you popular kpop dances - there is a range of difficulty , from beginner to advanced , and even disability friendly ones that we personally had lots of fun trying out ! :D

Taking up dance classes can help to cultivate your skills ! There are dance classes specifically based around kpop - whether irl meet ups or online courses !

Invest in vocal coaching / singing classes ! These can help so much to help you practice - there are many free personal courses , but also YouTube videos for at home / do-it-yourself coaching ! Tips ; learning how to rap gives you lots of point for when you may try auditioning ! So try learning in english and korean !

Invest in Korean skincare - it's defiantly god sent , but kpop idols value their skincare , so taking care of yourself is also very good !

You can record yourself dancing and edit them on simple editing apps , like capcut or velocity , to appear like fancams !

Try doing korean makeup ! There are lots of tutorials on Youtube or you can follow korean influencers that do their makeup tutorials !

You can take pictures and print them out as photo cards ! If you have friends who are into kpop - you can propose the idea of all taking pictures and ' trading ' eachothers photos for fun ! ( whether or not you aren't out as transidol !! :D )

Write your own songs ! There are lyric websites that can help you get some inspiration + simple song makers like Soundtrap where you can create the music !

Join kpop dance groups ! There are online groups dedicated to meet up somewhere and to record group dances - which can make you feel like you have your own group !

First thing's first, the OG audio is reversed

Well, this isn't a problem for me. I do have experience in audio editing with the whole musician thing and all, so I just gotta plop that into Twistedwave Audio and then see what happens.

This is what you get by reversing the audio above (or un-reverse it, I guess)

A neat lil' lofi-soundin' track. The music motifs strike again! This time, there isn't a music box being played but either a keyboard or just someone using a music program (the instrument sounds familiar so my money's on the program being Soundtrap if this is a music program lol).

The Felix post I mentioned last night was posted one hour after the audio above. What relation could he have to this audio clip, if he even has one? Who knows.

Looking back at the first audio post from the Nitter account, I realized I completely glossed over something that was also on that audio post. There was Japaneese text there, too.

Just a day before the first audio post we got a post mentioning someone named Corrine. We only know of one female that may or may not be part of the game so far. Corrine.

Now, assuming that the first audio track is indeed Corrine (or hell maybe Smiling Man replicating this mysterious woman's practice song it could go either way), this might dampen my theory of the Smiling Man going crazy after a preformance gone wrong, but here me out This could still work in one of two ways:

The Smiling Man was an attendee at a concert who I'm assuming Corrine was playing at and something went wrong (i.e. Corrine's demise, probably) which made him crazy

The Smiling Man could have very well preformed alongside Corrine [insert latter half of #1 here]

Upon looking through more posts (specifically the ones reading ミ・ラ ||, which translates to Mi La, ミ・ド・レ・レ, which although the translator I'm using says it means Mi De Les Les, I think it's actually supposed to say Mi Do Re Re) (also the 4/4 post could very well be in reference to the 4/4 time signature), I think the latter of my two other hypothesis could be correct. If the account is posting as the Smiling Man, which most likely is the case, then we know at least one thing about Emio (if he's the Smiling Man, which he probably is since the game's called the Smiling Man in Japan but also Emio at the same time because pronounciation): bro knows his music. So maybe during a live preformance something went wrong, Corrine bites the dust, and the Smiling Man just loses it.

Tomorrow's the 17th, when people are assuming something huge related to Emio is gonna pop up, so we're just gonna see what's gonna happen.

I'm going to spill the real reason why me and others have stopped working on the mori mod.

But she's just- not a mentally well person like at all and it hurts for me to say it but it's true and I am speaking my truth here.

Now why am I saying this? She can't be that bad right. Wrong imma make a list of some of the shit she's done with evidence.

1. Saying little to nothing has been done to give people interest in her project.

Straight up lying and saying not a single ost ot more has been done when I have made 29 at least for the project

Not to mention the other people working on shit getting little to no credit here.

Not trying to choose sides but blocking isn't a bad thing and nothing really anyone should lose sleep over, I block idw sonic fans and I block nsfw Sonic artist, sorry, makes me uncomfortable. I also block Prime sonic fans because those fans get triggered as soon as you point out how bad it is too. XD

I'm in the fandom on my free time, I don't want to deal with negativity or annoyance and I don't want to argue hours on hours about why I like or don't like this one Sonic thing. It's a waste of all of our time. Gotte focus on the games we love right?

Again, I don't mind blocking for curation's sake. Yeah idk what it is, but some SatAM fans (note I'm not saying all of them) are the most insecure fans I've ever seen. The show's been off the air for decades, and yet if you speak about it in an even mildly negative manner, someone will roll up to your post like "SatAM gave us GREAT TELEVISION and they did their best with the crumbs the games gave them." It's weird too because Omens devs the occasional outlier notwithstanding, you don't see Sonic X fans behaving as though X was still relevant to the series. Not only is "poor SatAM creators had nothing to work with" laughably untrue given the evidence we have at this point, (evidence which includes Ben Hurst's own words btw, but somehow they're just as allergic to his words as they are toward Ian's whenever he says something that doesn't fit their narrative), I like their assumption that the game purists ought to appreciate, or at least overlook, the implication that the games are less deep and fleshed-out than the TV show.

And then they pull surprised Pikachu faces when you're like "hey could you not shittalk the core series in order to elevate your dead, obsolete, and largely niche continuity? pls and thank"

I'm (EIAL) the one who makes the videos, hi!

I make them on capcut, usally with the help of someone so we can get some voices in there. All of the apps I use are Capcut, Audio Recorder (literally like the voice recorder on my phone lol), Soundtrap, and https://ytmp3s.nu/xtbV/ this website. I also draw some stuff on IBIS Paint, and was planning to make animations on FlipaClip. All of this stuff is free because I am a poor college student who has no money for subscriptions.
