DON'T YOU REALIZE? Noh Yunah x oc! Kim Hyewon

Word Count: 1.2k

Warnings: Yunah is crazy here so feel free to hate her, toxic relationship

Note: It's my first time writing and english it's not my first language. Hope u enjoy it!

Yunah smiled as she watched hyewon laughing with the other girls. Her luxurious clothes, flaunting wealth, were a distinctive contrast compared to her adorable smile and amiability.

Despite hyewon being extremely rich, heir to Samsung and global ambassador of Chanel, she did not see herself as such and did not like to be flattered for it. Hyewon was very humble, she did not like to see herself in a hierarchy.

"Today I'm matching accessories!" Hyewon smiled showing her hairpins, necklace and rings, all stamped with the Chanel logo and small diamond stones.

"You look and only see wealth." Chanelle hugged her from behind, smiling broadly. "Chanel & Chanelle." Hyewon pointed from the logo on her suit to her friend's face. The two laughed and went looking for someone to bother while the rehearsal didn't start.

"The first interviewee today is Iroha!" Hyewon clapped and Chanelle followed suit. "Ok, Iroha, who is your favorite unnie and why is it me?" She smiled innocently.

Iroha frowned in confusion, looking at Hyewon, not knowing what to answer.

"My favorite unnie?" She questioned, holding Hyewon's hand that acted as a mic.

"Yes, it’s me, right?" She smiled hopefully.

"...No." Iroha timidly denied.

Chanelle laughed while Hyewon looked at the camera in disbelief.

"And with that, we end the Chanel & Chanelle Show! Bye!" She said goodbye forcing a smile.

The cameraman went after other girls, leaving a downcast Hyewon behind. "Are you okay?" Chanelle asked with a teasing smile.

"I've never been so humiliated in my entire life." She laughed bitterly. "We give them love, affection and food and this is how they reciprocate." She sighed thoughtfully.

Chanelle laughed, pushing her shoulder, making Hyewon break her posture and laugh too.

Suddenly two cold hands wrapped around Hyewon's waist, a strong chill ran through her body causing a feeling of anxiety. She tilted her head, seeing Yunah's tall figure smiling at her.

"Hi!" She finally smiled, relaxing in her touch, noticing the familiar sensation.

"What do you think you're doing showing off this beautiful abs? Have you no pity for your fans?" She hugged her tightly, bringing their bodies even closer.

"It wasn't my choice, so I'm not to blame." She denied cheekily.

"But being sexy is your fault." She poked the tip of her nose with a playful smile. Hyewon leaned in giving a delicate kiss on her cheek, making her smile double.

"Ew, there are children watching this!" Chanelle made a fake disgusted face.

"Just don't look!" Yunah affirmed, keeping her tight grip around Hyewon.

"It's disrespectful to others, you know?" Jeongeun joined the conversation supporting Chanelle.

Chanelle hugged jeoungeun nodding firmly to emphasize her speech.

"I don't care about you guys!" Yunah rolled her eyes before starting a sequence of pecks making the girls groan pushing them.

Hyewon laughed, loving the reactions and provocations, she loved to annoy her friends with her excess love for her girlfriend and vice versa.

“I'm going to need to steal your girl, Yunah.” Jiwoo pulled Hyewon, dragging her away from Yunah who made a huge drama trying to reach them, but was held back by Chanelle and Jeongeun.

“Give my girlfriend back!” Yunah shouted trying to break free.

After all this chaos, things started to get more serious and the girls were tense with the performance. Harin has always been very insecure about her abilities, even though many affirm that she is amazing and has a unique voice, she continues to doubt her potential and this hinders her performance on stage.

Being the sister of K-pop's greatest vocalist takes a heavy toll and it makes Hyewon very scared. People always compare her to Taeyeon, even though they are very different, she feels a lot more pressure having to be on stage and show that she is much more than Taeyeon's younger sister.

Chanelle has been friends with Hyewon long enough to know about her insecurities, so she always makes sure she is well and prepared.

“You can do well, don't worry.” Chanelle encouraged, fixing some strands that were on Hyewon's face.

“We will succeed!” She affirmed, more to herself than to Chanelle, and together they went to the stage.

Everything went well and there were no mistakes. Hyewon was radiant and super proud to have done a good job and managed to stay on the High, and thus could stay close to Yunah who was also on the High, not surprising anyone as her talent and potential were notable.

She came out of the shower still in disbelief that everything went right, it didn't seem real. She felt very safe with Sooyoung's presence who smiled very proudly and said that she did well. Her presence was very important.

Hyewon's tired eyes lighting up when she saw that Yunah was waiting for her in bed while reading a book very focused.

Smiling, Hyewon walked up to Yunah leaving a kiss on her cheek, lying with her head on her shoulder.

“Are you in a good mood again?” Yunah turned the page of the book, not paying much attention to Hyewon's presence there.

“I'm relieved that everything went right, even though I miss Chanelle a lot.” She made a small pout.

“It was obvious that everything would be fine, you are one of the best Hyewon. I really don't understand the reason for all this victimization.” Yunah sighed looking annoyed, her tone was also very hostile.

“I'm just insecure.” She murmured sadly, with a tightness in her heart.

"You're literally Taeyeon's sister, things come easy for you!" Another tightness.

"Don't say that! I want to be more than that and I want to be recognized for my talent and not because of my sister. Don't you realize how much this hurts me?" His tearful voice almost cracks as he notices that yunah doesn't seem sorry at all.

“If it's to talk about this I'd rather continue reading my book in silence.”

Once again Hyewon felt that tightness in her chest, it's not the first time that Yunah talks to her this way, but since it's something so sensitive for her to talk about, it was even more painful.

Carefully, Hyewon lay down next to her girlfriend and tried her best not to disturb her reading. A small tear, running down her cheek.

The next morning was like any other for Hyewon, Yunah woke up and treated her normally as if nothing had happened yesterday. This bipolar behavior of her girlfriend was very confusing and sometimes made her question if she was really loved, but she never brought this up in a conversation because Yunah can be very temperamental when her ego is hurt in a certain way.

“What are we going to do today?” Yunah asked while taking a shower.

Hyewon brushed her teeth peacefully. “Probably some mission? The program has already started, Yunah.” She said with some difficulty due to the amount of foam in her mouth.

“Wow, there’s no need for that rudeness!” She complained, turning off the shower. “You've been in an unbearable bad mood lately. What’s wrong?”

“Nothing. I’m sorry.” She rinsed her mouth, trying to ignore Yunah's suspicious look.

“Whatever.” She wrapped herself in a towel. “I just wanted to spend some alone time with you. It's been a long time since we've had our moments of affection.” She hugged her from behind, giving a few kisses on her shoulder.

“I think we won’t have free time for a long, also the program has rules and the “moments of affection” go against them.” She laughed softly when Yunah made a grumpy face.

“So you're telling me that we're going to have to pretend that we're not dating from now on?” She raised an eyebrow, moving away from hyewon and crossing her arms.

“What’s wrong? Rules are rules, baby.” She turned around, stretching her arm to touch her face, but Yunah backed away avoiding the touch. “Are you serious?”

“Don’t call me baby anymore. Get out of the bathroom.” She turned her back.

“What are you doing?” Asked really confused.

“Rules are rules, Hyewon. Just go out!” She raised her voice a bit.

“Fine.” She took her things, leaving the bathroom irritated.

Hyewon is very confused. She really doesn't understand what is happening with Yunah and the reason for all this bad mood. Yunah never takes things calmly and gets irritated when something doesn't work the way she wants, but this aggressive behavior only appears when Hyewon is the reason for her irritation, she's another person when it comes to her friends and that was the reason that made Hyewon fall in love with her. Yunah always say sorry, telling that she was stressed and mess up everything, hyewon always accepted and they comeback to the normal.

The fact is no matter what yunah do, hyewon will still loving her.

Hi :) It's the crazy plant idea lady who called Serim a twink that waters dead plants again. Sorry about this response being kind of wack. I had to tend to my Sue Sylvester fan page account. (It's a long story for another time). OKAY TO THE MAIN EVENt

Thank you for calling my rant cute (HUGS). Okay, but now, fr, let's get into this.

When Ning first discovered Serim watering a dead plant, she waited until she was done watering and caring for said plant and threw it away (bad move, Ning). Around 20 minutes go by, and Serim is just screaming ANGELICA, OH ANGELICA, WHERE ARE YOU. Ning is confused to see Serim lying delirious on the floor where the plant used to be. Ning then tells her that she threw the plant away. Serim then proceeds to cry into Ning's shoulder. Hence, Ningning lets Serim water dead plants.

PLANT SNSD. Let's just say Taeyeon is hanging on for dear life (Serim parys to it every day, Why? I don't know; I don't make the rules). I feel like Serim has a corner of her apartment designated for her snsd plants. All of the snsd plants excluding 2 are alive and well. One is obviously Taeyeon, and the other is none other than..... Yuri, the African milk tree (Euphorbia Trigona). We will never know why Serim has this in her house. Let's just say that Taeyeon looks like a god compared to this poor plant.

Yes, ningning gets into plants only for her first plant to get killed by none other than the gay herself, Serim. Let's just say Serim and Jennie had a bit too much soju.... and serim thought it was a good idea to give Ning's baby plant a little drink, too. Ning, when she later went to Serims apartment, found her plant... dead, killed by soju.

Weedville - A love story between a twink gardening teacher and a confused idol named Ningning who doesn't know how she ended up in this odd girl's class. Ning then discovers that her teacher is delusional because she talks to the plants and sings songs (I imagine Serim randomly singing Gangnam style to plant Taeyeon).

Also, this was so fun to write. I usually get so sick of writing that I need to add Sid the Sloth quotes to make me feel better.

Also, could you, perchance, can create an anon name for mauh (hair flip) I'm to lazy too, or we can just stick with serim and ning twink agenda lady.

helloo! im new to ur blog and idk if u already have the person who ming is going to end up with but my gosh poor mark if its not him 😂 Hes been having the biggest crush on her for years and shes met most of his members and taeyeon, like yes she also knows txt but thats only bc theyre in the same company not bc shes someone jun is really into yk ? What do you think the thought process is behind SMCU nct members who were selected? No jaehyun or doyoung when their voices make every nct song better and it has that unique wintery cosy vibe when they sing together??? instead they chose jungwoo who isnt even a main vocal? i’m sorry but this constant push for jungwoo’s popularity is annoying if that’s what they’re trying to do . what do they want, him to be the next taemin?? lol

Dear anon, look at the bigger picture.

- Doyoung released many songs in 2021. "Doll" with Baekhyun, "Maniac" with Haechan, Cafe Midnight and Yumi's Cell OSTs, "coNEXTion" with Haechan and Mark, etc.

- Doyoung has a song with Joy "First Christmas". NCT U winter song "Coming home". He also participates in SM joined projects often. Like "This is your day".

- Doyoung sang with Chen, Key, Baekhyun, Wendy, Joy, Sunday (The grace, her contract with SM ended in January of 2021), i.e. he had many projects with members of other SM groups. He has been in SMCU since pre-debut, heh.

- Jaehyun has "Try again", a duet with Taeyeon, sang with D.O., Changmin and Taemin. And now he has a Christmasy "Sweat dream".

- There is an all artists song, Doyoung or Jaehyun might have a prominent part there.

In short, Jae and Do are known by SM stans.

- aespa, a new girl group got a solo song (a title track to boot).

- TVXQ, Oh!GG that were absent for a long time have singles as well.

These 2 old monsters and the new rookie monster are meant to attract the most buyers.

- Chenle, Jisung, Jungwoo, Renjun didn't have that much of exposure in comparison to JaeDo to SM stans. They are the new blood of SM. Chenle and Renjun are also Chinese, here to represent. If there are plans to let Renjun or Chenle go solo (which is actually should be expected with Renjun one day, he is very popular, and he has the solo singer romantic charm, his cover proved popular). The first bricks should be put in the road. Their voices shown. And yes this year is Jungwoo promotion year. Koreans like him. Why shouldn't SM try to cash on all their artists and use momentum. Lets be honest, fans don't care about singing abilities. Otherwise, Hyo or Kai wouldn't be soloists. Not to mention, many main vocals from non-SM groups are weaker singers than Jungwoo.

- I guess noone will complain about a KRY member singing with Taeil.

- The young rappers line. Before TaeMark SM actually didn't have rappers. Yes, some members had the role, but it didn't make them good in rapping. So a song for the new generation looks logical as well.

Was I surprised to find JaeDo/Tende nowhere? Yes, I was. You see me whine about wanting a song for Tende all the time, I was also hopeful. But it's an SMCU project (U, heh), new unexpected combinations.

i’ve been meaning to make this post a while ago, but i was uncertain if now was the right time to do it, it’s something that’s extremely controversial, but yes...

i decided to make a post regarding what i think woosan’s sexuality is, now i figured it was bad to just assume their sexuality but people assume all or at least most of the male/female kpop idols are straight anyway by default. which i don’t think is bad or illogical, seeing as most people are straight statistically.

not gonna lie, ateez is one of those groups that give me mad gay vibes tho. however, i won’t be analyzing the others as i don’t really watch much of their individual behavior or content, i think you should only make these when you’ve watched enough of their behavior.

as you know, i’m a woosan enthusiast, and a woo stan, but i’m not gonna just analyze their relationship, which i think is sufficient proof enough, but i’ve compiled everything that has led me to the conclusion that san is either bi(with male preference) or gay, and woo is bi.

lastly, i want to say just because someone is homophobic or really opposed to skinship with the same sex does not mean they’re automatically straight. sometimes it’s a coping mechanism, and just because they’re feminine, comfortable with their masculinity, support LGBT+, or okay with skinship with the same sex doesn’t mean their gay.

sometimes there really are NO signs.

just look at all of the idols people assumed were gay. momo/heechul, baekhyun/taeyeon, hani, kai(though mostly considered him to be bi). anyhow, my point is you just never know. lol

now, i’ll stop my rambling and get started. first let’s start with

S A N

now, i’ll be honest, i’ve always thought san was gay because how reserved he was and how shy and sweet he was around the members during their predebut days. i just felt like he was maybe shy because he hadn’t come to terms with he sexuality. i mean when i look at san during predebut, he literally was like a baby, and his mannerisms was so small and reserved. even his body was so tiny and fragile. however, this was because san was naturally skinny and it had always been a complex for him. in which he said he had a tough time gaining weight.

what we know about san’s former lifestyle is that he was a church boy, a farmer, a wannabe gamer and a freaking black belt in taekwondo and his dad was an owner of a taekwondo studio, he was one of the most popular kids, he had a pretty good relationship with his parents or at least now he does and his grandparents took good care of him when his parents didn’t.

but san still had low self-esteem. why? i really don’t know, but i would hazard a guess that it was because of his sexuality(this is just an assumption guys, not a fact). now remember san was part of the church, and he joined because a friend asked him too. they probably asked him because they figured he liked to sing and dance. although i think san was shy and self-conscious, i don’t that he was self-conscious about his abilities as you could see he did go to the church to sing and dance in front of a bunch of people. i think he had low-self esteem because of who he may have realized that he was.

here are some examples of what i mean.

there’s something that san continuously repeats and that is to learn to love himself, know his worth, and just simply love who he is. and i think that’s one of the reasons that san didn’t like church is because it went against who he was and is. if you watch videos of him in the church he really looks like he doesn’t want to be there. he looks so uncomfortable. he doesn’t just look like “ah, this is boring there’s nothing to do” but he looks more like he’s displaced. like he’s NOT supposed to be there. we learn later that san isn’t religious instead.

don’t you find it interesting that he made a direct correlation to his belief in god to his belief in himself. it was like he was saying, even though i don’t believe in god i believe in who i am. like i trust that who i am is correct.

another part of this video that i find interesting is the moment that they talk about how much they value each other(woo and san).

a lot of people in the comments of this video said that they felt like this was a confession and i agree. i remember feeling odd at how san worded this, the first time his sexuality didn’t even cross my mind. i was just like oh, he’s probably embarrassed because woo’s so loud and shit. lol. but now it doesn’t make much since to me. the vibes here are very serious, and we all know that even though woo can be loud and noisy many atiny’s forget that he is also extremely mature. especially when he needs to be. not only that but san has said woo is very respecful to his elders, so i don’t think he would of been embarrassed by woo’s on camera behavior. i noticed before san said this he hesitated a bit, like should i say this or how should i word this. it was super sweet.

now, let’s talk about san describing his ideal type. in which he says the outside doesn’t matter and that he wants someone who is kind-hearted and warm. he wants someone who’s good to him.

there are a lot of moments translated where he used feminine pronouns, but others have clarified and said he did not mention any pronouns.

let’s also talk about that conversation he had with wooyoung where they talked about what kind of guys they liked. where woo was like, “i like cool guys” and san was like, “i like both cool and sweet guys” then there’s silence because they probably realize that it’s considered “weird”. then san says, “i’ll be quiet”. i honestly felt bad like ;c. he probably felt the need to stop talking about it because he realized that people would prob think that it was gay.

he also sang troye sivan my youth, but i honestly don’t think that it’s too relevant seeing as many kpop idols appreciate troye sivan. but it’s worth noting i suppose.

lastly, body language there’s just a lot of moments that can’t be explained. now i completely understand that korea is tote fine with males being close with one another but there are just some moments, that i believe, i don’t care how comfy you are with the same sex is questionable. lmfao.

mind you seconds before this san was just minding his own business but his expression completely changed when he saw woo seduc---i mean dancing in front of him. idc what anyone says, a straight man would never eye fuck another man like this. lmfao. there’s lust in those eyes and you can’t tell me there isn’t. san was literally checking him out.

san being completely comfortable with having his no-no on woo’s ass, these are both very intimate parts of the body. honestly, the simple fact that san likes spooning woo from behind all the time is suspect to me. lol. especially with the expressions he gives at times.

san’s reaction when woo gets too close to his face, he doesn’t flinch. he’s also clearly looking at woo’s lips. there’s also another moment like this where san becomes so flustered that he has to look away for a second. lmfao.

when i think two of the other members(i don’t remember who) had to do a couple dance. what they did was completely tame, but woosan over here took it up several notches and started dancing like they were at a gay bar. no one told them to do it, they just did.

next i want to point out how comfortable they are with the shipping. i already mentioned this in my woosan relationship post but they’re comfortable with the shipping, then i figured it was because they were comfortable with the relationship that they had. but now, i think they don’t mind it because they’re proud of who they are. it’s not just them being comfortable with woosan, but with their sexuality as well. so they’re like telling us we’re woosan but we’re also okay with our sexuality kind of thing.

lastly, i want to point out body language again for san, and this is honestly the ONLY reason why i believe he is somewhat bi and not completely gay. the way he interacts with fans. i know you’re all gonna say well, that’s his job. but, he seems to want to impress his fans or look good for them. san’s confidence has changed quite a bit and as yeosang once said, san’s kind of like a tough guy now, as mingi said he’s changed the most since debut. i think the reason satan--i mean san has become so powerful, and a sexy demon on stage is because he’s confident in who he is now and it really shows. i think san wanted to break those stereotypes of who he was and show people that he wasn’t weak or shy, but manly and sexy and the best in bed. but on stage he loves showing off his muscles and how flexible his hips are and even on vlive. most of the fans are women and i think to myself why would he do this if he was completely gay?

i just don’t think a completely gay man would not want to appeal to women all that much. then again it could possibly be because he enjoys getting those compliments and that’s what fuels his self esteem. it could be the compliments from the women and not the women themselves. i’m not completely sure, but the reason why he does this does matter. he likes receiving compliments not just from the fans but from anyone really. so i don’t know if the reason he shows off his manliness to fans is because he wants to appeal to women OR if he just wants to appeal to his self esteem. which is possible. you guys let me know what you think.

there really isn’t as much content for me to work with when it comes to woo because he refuses to post, but i’m so confident that this boy is bi that it’s not even funny. there’s not much predebut info, there’s not much info about his ideal type.

yo girl will work with what she’s got. now, woo has only playfully mentioned his ideal type. in which he usually automatically answers yunho. do i actually believe that? no. lmfao. i think woo was smart enough to have yunho as his default answer for this question really. instead of actually being attracted to yunho i think woo just admires yunho because he always answers yunho for a member he would switch bodies with as well. he always says yunho because he’s tall, fun, funny, handsome and has a nice figure.

but as you’ve all probably noticed he doesn’t really seem physically attracted to yunho, but you know(HAHA) who he is definitely physically attracted to?

seonghwa, without a doubt, i’m saying this with my whole fucking chest, okay? i have no doubt in my mind that woo is or at least was physically attracted to seonghwa.

that full post i made with woo trying to kiss seonghwa for the 100th time is all the evidence you need, but i’ll keep y’all entertained. i want you all to understand that seonghwa has said that woo kisses him so much off camera that he’s used to it, the fact that the members gasped so hard that they almost caught flies was mehmehable.

now you all will probably say that woo just loves kisses and that’s fine but he seems to want to kiss on the mouth too and that’s pretty gay. lol.

he literally looked at seonghwa’s mouth before he dived in for a kiss. cheek kisses and mouth kisses are two whole different vibes. not to mention he tried to kiss him again during this vlive and san. woo has literally tried kissing all of the members okay? lmfao. he’s just way too comfortable with it in my opinion.

woo has been hungry for seonghwa, and he knows it, we can also talk about how he has said twice that seonghwa has a pretty ass. which he isn’t wrong about. lmfao. we could also talk about that moment where woo literally looked down seonghwa’s shirt.

anyway, while i do think woo was physically attracted to him, i’m pretty sure he has some kind of intimate relationship with san now. i don’t wanna add those moments because it would just me repeated what i wrote for woosan relationship analyzes, woo has also shown a lot of interest in women during their america tour and he’s repeatedly gone to the same fancam of some women. it’s important to mention woo is naturally a flirt but he seems to flirt with the members as well, according to yeosang who said this during their christmas vlive. jongho has also said he wanted woo’s ability to flirt. so my best guess is that he probably flirted with the members in the past.

there’s also the clip of him telling a fanboy to go after the guy that he likes, and he was also surprised to hear that he had fanboys, and he seemed interested to know this information other than that i don’t have much evidence, but i think woo’s body language off camera with the members is plenty evidence really. lol. there’s just not many straight men i know who would be inclined to cling to another male as much as woo does.

The hidden goddess of songs in SM Entertainment.

The brilliant lyricist that is behind some of the most iconic songs in SM’s history.

A graduate from the Berklee College of music, yes, that Berklee she has written 10 songs to hit number 1 on the gaon chart, and her B-sides are dreams.

The thing that I love about Kenzie is that she knows how to twist a song into making it mean something while saying something else. It’s kind of hidden meanings within a song that I don’t see all that much from writers. It’s one of the reason I love Taylor Swift’s music is because I love learning something new every time I hear the same song over and over again. The hidden depths and meaning more.

Obsession - EXO

At first glance, the song could meaning the obsession with one’s fans/Idols, or being obsessed over someone and seeing the toxicity in it. When I heard it, I thought it was a dig at sasaengs and fans that go to far. Then the line at the end came in and it completely startled me.

거울 속의 나를 보고 있는 나 / It’s me looking at myself in the mirror

It’s can simply change the entire meaning behind the song without even thinking about it. It’s a double meaning that also is about ego, and self reflection. Sometimes you get so caught up in everything, In yourself, you never realize the toxic part could also be from one’s own self-reflection. The lines that follow are all of plea’s to get away, to disappear. It’s the last line of substance in the song that flips it on it’s head. A cry for help because sometimes your worst enemy, the thing that goes bump in your nightmares isn’t someone else, but you. It turns the song into a dialogue with one person fighting with their own demons.

Power Up - Red Velvet

Power up is one of those Red song’s that people either hate or love. (I personally loved it) It’s one of those songs that is great for summer and is about having fun. But it also is about recharging yourself and going for your dreams that seem so out there. It’s also points out that maybe the reason we haven’t gotten our dreams yet is because we just need to have fun.

It starts off with someone who hasn’t moved since they got up, and ends with them being recharged and ready to take on the world. It’s about changing your mindset on things. Yeah school is boring and sucks, but you could also think of it is school is learning and you are evolving as a human being. It’s about changing the mindset.

Into the New World - Girls Generation

Into the New World is certified Kpop Gold. It’s the golden standard and a must for every new girl group to learn, and to be compared to. The song is upbeat and high energy with just as much air needed to belt out the lyrics. It’s a timeless song that has been turned into a rallying cry for protesters and Women empowerment. Into the New World is what Girls’ Generation ended up doing for the Kpop industry as a whole for female groups, by going the tough route always working hard, facing the darkness that comes.

It’s a rallying cry for hope, for endurance in tough times, and to make sure that people keep fighting for what they believe in. That they know, they are not alone.

Tek - I was so looking forward to Natty’s debut! And I hate to say that I just think it’s okay. She does a great job, but it’s just not for me.

Kas - Was I waiting for her debut? Yes. Do I have a clip of me reacting to her debut? Yes. I think her voice could sound a little more attractive. It's almost like she’s dragging it a little on purpose for the whole song. Something that really only works in rap verses and parts where you choke on the beat drop (See (G)I-DLE’s “Oh My God” or NCT 127’s “Limitless”). Regardless, it’s a fun song to bop to and I like the music video.

Tek - I think I literally made heart eyes at that violin. Is that possible? Can you make heart eyes in real life?

Kas - Who are they to make the intro sound like Pirates of the Caribben x Disney Fairies? Also I love “Flowering” :) Seriously. What a wonderful song. I can’t remember the last time I heard a violin in music, much less in k-pop. I love how you can hear it dancing as it makes the melody.

Woo!ah! - “Exclamation”

Tek - ‘Woo!ah!’ is a fun song, but how is it that I’ve never heard this before and yet it sounds like it ripped each of it’s lines from a different song? The lyrics are just so generic. I’ve heard them a thousand times before. I like the B-side a lot better.

Kas - It’s fun for sure but not my favorite, nor does it stand out too much. Points for bop-ness, though.

Tek - there’s so much makeup in this MV is feels like an ad. Kinda weird and cool that they won’t let us get a good look at the girls’ faces in the MV too. Seeing if they ever do actually kept me watching more than caring about the song. (They don’t btw)

Kas - Ooh an interesting start to the song. I like it. Thennn they lost me with the “I can be pink, i can be __…” I don’t like the chorus much, either, but they brought me back when we got into the verses. It’s an interesting song, for sure. Truly I mean “interesting”. I’ve never heard anything quite like it. Not from IZ*ONE, not TWICE and certainly not (G)I-DLE. I don’t think they’re exactly my cup of tea but I certainly had fun listening to them. I wonder what they’ll come out with next…

Tek - Title track is okay, shines in the chorus (and that little post-chorus chant is so catchy). The b-side is fair as well.

Kas - I love the music video for “Who Dis?” but I’m pretty neutral on the song. There are parts I really like and part i do not. For example, the pre-chorus does NOT do it for me. I suppose the song is functional, though. It certainly catches people’s attention which is just what a debut needs to do. “Holiday” is much more enjoyable, for me. It sounds less forced overall. I’d like it more if not for the rap parts.

Tek - “With All My Heart” is probably my favorite after my first listen, but I really just think they’re all so pretty!

Kas - Don’t mind me. I’m crying ‘cause pretty voice. When I first started listening to K-pop I thought ballads were boring, but it’s voices like Ken’s that prove me wrong.

Kas - Her voice is so pretty! All the songs hit a bit different so I like them for different reasons. I dont like the cover art too much if I’m being honest, but that’s nothing to judge a group or artist on. *casually clicks “follow” on spotify*

Kas - The chorus is a dumpster-fire disaster but the song is catchy and the verses start to save it. There is too much going on sound wise for it to simultaneously sound so stripped back. They just don’t sound... good. Sorry?
