the way we don't really know the degree to which people closely associated with seimei are actually responsible for their actions is really scary........ i think the answer is somewhere in the middle like i don't think soubi and nisei would've ever done any of those things without seimei even if the ideas had entered their heads. but i also don't think that seimei has like Direct Control over them i think he has like extreme powers of suggestion and sets up his relationships specifically and intentionally with people who are easy to take advantage of. and i think maybe this "spell" that seimei has over them is contingent on them like. being broken people and the more soubi recovers the less of a hold seimei will have over him. nisei seems like more of a lost cause though, but i would like to see him do fucking SOMETHING to try and redeem himself lmao
