regular visitor II m.león
regular visitor II m.león
you exhaled shakily as you flashed your ID badge and peeled into the training complex, almost running over several pigeons pecking at the ground on your designated parking spot as your engine cut off and your head thumped against the steering wheel.
heart rate refusing to slow down from the various road rules you broke this morning you hustled to grab your things out of the car and hurry inside, well aware that due to some awful morning traffic you were running almost over an hour and a half late now.
yes it was definitely the traffics fault and not the fact you'd accidentally set your alarm for 6pm and not 6am, and considering you'd like to think of yourself as quite the punctual and professional person being on time was late for you, so this situation was something new and you loathed it beyond belief.
it wasn't a game day thankfully but you knew this would set you back dreadfully as you had appointments lined up all morning back to back, jona wanting almost all of the girls to have a quick check up and check in since most of them had only just returned from international break.
with a groan you shifted uncomfortably trying not to drop anything with your arms more than full, attempting to kick your car door shut behind you as your one free finger probed at your hips where your keys hung trying to find the lock button.
"oh hijo de puta!" you cursed as you struggled to hold everything, finally kicking your door shut but dropping your coffee and jumping back as it narrowly missed soiling your brand new white sneakers.
"un lenguaje tan grosero." you jolted in shock and almost fell over at the unexpected voice, a tattooed hand hurrying over to grab your bag right before it hit the ground as the other pressed against the small of your back to stop you toppling over.
"mapi." you exhaled with relief at the familiar face, the girl making sure you were steady on your feet before handing you back your bag, ignoring your protests as she took a few of the medical books stacked in your arms into her own.
"está bien, déjame ayudarte. quiero hacerlo!" the defender dismissed your concerns with a flick of her hand, sending you a dazzlingly white toothed smile as you took a moment to collect yourself.
"you are a little late today, no?" the girl questioned, the two of you falling into step as you smiled at her accented english.
despite the fact you did speak and understand most spanish you appreciated that a lot of the girls who spoke english did their best to do so around you, knowing you did get homesick every now and then having been born and raised in england up until around a year ago when you'd made the move to spain from manchester.
"i could say the same for you león." you quipped back making the defender send you a grin and knock her shoulder into yours. "i was allowed to sleep in. no fitness testing when you have been here training all summer." mapi smiled but you recognised it didn't quite meet her eyes as your features softened, not knowing the whole story but enough to know there were reasons she no longer played for spain.
"did you go to the library first chica?" the zaragozan teased quickly changing subject, jostling the heavy textbooks in her arms and reveling in the laughter it pulled from you as the pair of you made your way inside making small talk.
"gracias por su ayuda!" you exhaled gratefully, shifting your bag on your shoulder and holding out your arms for the books which mapi carefully placed down into them as you reached where you'd be parting ways.
"anytime." if mapi had planned to say more she didn't get the chance as you shot her another grateful smile and hurried away, the girl exhaling with an annoyed grumble at herself and wandering off toward the locker rooms.
"bon dia!" you sang out with a rushed smile, swiping your card at reception and practically sprinting toward the physio's wing, arriving to your office with a sigh of relief seeing there wasn't a line of disgruntled players yet.
"jona called a captains meeting to get everyone on the same page so everything's been pushed back, i took care of the younger girls who had the first appointments and rearranged the rest to come in after breakfast, you're fine amiga. breathe!" carmen the other physio on today assured as you collapsed at your desk with a groan, a thump sounding as you dropped everything and your limbs burned from the effort.
"thank you!" you gestured up to the sky making the woman laugh and sit down across from you, running you through the schedule for the day as you hurried to tidy everything up, grabbing out your diary and scribbling down the changes.
"so andrés and peter are in for the afternoon too?" you clarified, the tests for the girls hoping to be returning from injury this weekend having been moved to after lunch as carmen nodded and you were relieved to hear you'd be sharing the load.
"sí. makes it smoother to go through everyone on the list without having to rush anything or hold anyone back later than needed." the woman explained as you nodded in agreement.
a knock at the door gained your attention as you looked up to see a familiar face hovering in the doorway. "bon dia mapi!" carmen greeted her, taking her copy of the schedule and promising she'd be back soon for your upcoming meeting with a few of the other staff, and with a coffee in hand for you as you blew her a kiss with a grateful sigh.
"long time no see león." you teased as the defender gave you a grin. "i had to make sure nobody moved my chair." mapi huffed nodding to the padded massage chair she'd gotten all too familiar with during her rehab the last few months which you'd headed.
"moved it since you were sat in it...yesterday? you know maybe i should just get you your own personal bench at this point, with your initials and everything." you continued with a wink as mapi perked up and your gaze dropped back to your diary in front of you.
"are you here for help or for a chat maps?" you asked, half serious and half joking as you did have a busy day ahead, the defender rolling her eyes playfully.
"it is a professional visit, but we will chat anyway." mapi nodded confidently which you couldn't deny, but the footballer also had no leg to stand on as she did often find herself hanging about in your office in little bubbles of free time with no real reason bar wanting to talk to you.
though if you knew the real reasons why she seemed to hover, and if you'd caught on at all to the way she often shamelessly flirted with you, you'd made no move to show her so.
"tape time?" you laughed knowingly, a flurry of nods greeting you as you gestured for her to take a seat.
"so how was being back home?" mapi questioned with a smile, grabbing out what you needed as she hauled herself up onto the bench.
"like, overnight? it was fine!" you chuckled with a shake of your head. "no! during the break. you were gone for a week." mapi blushed slightly and hoped you hadn't heard the shake in her voice as you hunted around for another roll of tape.
she'd wanted to speak to you about it yesterday but all of this week you'd been busy preparing for everyone returning and the impending season, not having had much time to sit and talk with her like you normally would.
"oh that, it was nice." you smiled politely, not giving much away. "so whats troubling you today then?" you asked moving to stand over her as a panicked look crossed her face.
"qué? what do you mean?" mapi frowned in confusion, shuffling back a little to give you more room. "with the tape. what do you need taped mapi? your knee?" you chuckled, the girl exhaling with a noise of understanding.
"oh! sí. the knee, i went for a run last night and it has been a little...tight since." mapi shrugged as you nodded in understanding, the defender cleared for mostly everything now since her initial recovery and rehab.
"mm yeah there is a little tension. have you done much in the way of hard cardio outside of training since we cleared you?" you asked, massaging her knee and thigh expertly in your hands as mapi opened and closed her mouth, distracted temporarily by the way you were touching and squeezing her.
the girl loathed how around you her tongue and her words seemed to fail her, confidence not something she had ever ever struggled with but for some reason all it took was a bright eyed smile and a laugh from you and her mind would go blank.
"mapi?" you asked with a concerned frown when she didn't answer, the defender shaking her head for a moment. "oh! sí a little. i have been trying to fix my sleep schedule but when i cannot sleep, i try to go for a run." the girl admitted with a small smile and you pretended not to already know she was in therapy given it was part of her rehab program anyway, but you knew better than to every question any of the girls on things outside your realm of qualifications.
"that makes the nap you took yesterday make more sense." you teased with a grin as she scoffed. "i did not sleep! i was uh...how do you say? resting my eyes." mapi defended herself with a scowl making you laugh.
"oh? i did not know people snored when they rest their eyes." you smiled, the knot in her knee a little less prominent mapi tried to pretend she didn't miss the feelings of your hands on her as you backed off to measure out the tape.
"i do not snore!" mapi huffed, crossing her arms. "sure." you drawled sarcastically with a smile, gesturing for her to stretch out her leg as you wrapped the tape around expertly.
"vamos! off you go. if you are late for strength training carlos will have my head on a platter." you chuckled as she hopped down and you sat back at your desk. "head on a platter?" the girl gave you a face of confusion as you smiled.
"i would get the blame." you explained, shooing your hands at her and nodding at the door as you opened your laptop, fingers clicking away against the keys and mapi paused in the doorway for a moment.
"oye. would you want to-" you looked up with a quirked eyebrow and the eye contact seemed to suck the question from her as the spaniard shook her head, mumbling something and hurrying out of the room.
you'd just finished your check ups with a few more of the girls later in the day when you the familiar face poped back in only a few hours after you'd already seen her.
"again! what can i do for you this time maría?" you chucked, turning around and missing the way pina shot her a knowing look on her way out, shoving the girl and muttering something in her ear as she left the room.
"my calves are locked up." mapi pulled herself to sit up on the bench again as you hummed, grabbing out a bottle of massage oil and gesturing for her to lay down.
"did you overload the leg press again?" you sighed as she gave you a guilty smile and you shook your head. "mapi you know that if-" you started to lecture as she groaned.
"sí, lo sé! i have to be careful even if i am cleared. there are still risks." mapi parroted the words she'd heard from you time and time again. "then use these to listen!" you warned, tugging playfully at her ear as she chuckled.
the girl breathed a sigh of relief as you began to massage out the knots and tension in her lower legs, and though that wasn't the reason she'd really come here, it was a bonus.
"so how was your time back home?" mapi questioned again, propping herself up on one arm to look at you over her shoulder. "you already asked me that, it was nice!" you reminded with a laugh, the midfielders face flushing bright red in embarrassment.
"gah! more than nice. what did you do?" mapi asked, persistent to get a little more out of you which amused you. "saw family, spent time with my friends, caught up on all my paperwork because my patients don't listen to instructions about not overdoing it!" you answered with a wink, mapi's head thumping back down onto the bench as she looked to the floor.
"i do not always overdo it." you heard her grumble and merely smiled, the defender seemingly giving up on her questions as a comfortable silence fell between the pair of you.
"vale! all done." you squeezed her ankle and moved to wash your hands. "esperet! my uh, my shoulder is a little tight. we were doing...throw ins!" mapi quickly sat up as you narrowed your eyes.
"mm well we can't have that." you gestured for her to turn around as you gave her shoulder a squeeze. "higher or lower?" you asked, the spaniard guiding you to where her 'pain' was.
"okay, shirt off." you instructed as mapi quickly stripped off her training top leaving her in only a sports bra, and you ever so briefly caught the pink tint which coated her cheeks before her head faced the wall.
"so...what are you doing after work today?" mapi asked, wincing at the awkwardness in her tone, again never finding herself so tongue tied around anyone else.
"going home." you chuckled with a smile, working through the basically non existent knot in her shoulder but choosing not to say anything. "oh! cool." mapi nodded, pulling a face which she was grateful you couldn't see.
"you know, if you have something to ask me mapi, you can just ask." you encouraged, unsure if you were misreading the situation but having a feeling she was dancing around her true intentions and had been for awhile now.
"because you know if you wanted to ask me out you can just do it. instead of making up all of these injuries and excuses to come and hang out with me in here during work hours." you spoke casually but the words caused mapi to choke on air as she spun around and pulled her shirt back on.
you watched with amusement as the footballer opened and closed her mouth clearly in shock, causing a grin to curl into your features not used to seeing her so flustered.
"you're cute mapi, but we gotta work on your confidence!" you patted her leg with a smile, stepping back a little. "i have confidence, lots of it!" she blurted out with a frown as you hummed, waiting a moment for her to say anything else and chuckling when nothing followed.
"i'm free tonight, if you were wondering." you sat down at your desk and pulled out alexia's file, seeing her for a one on one next. "oh. oh!" things clicked for mapi as you raised an eyebrow, encouraging her to add some more on with a subtle wave of your hands.
"dinner. would you like to go and eat dinner, with me. a date! will you go on a date with me por favor?" mapi finally managed out, the pink flush creeping up her neck causing her to tug uncomfortably at the collar of her training top.
"sí, i'd love to." you answered softly, watching as her face lit up like that of a kid on christmas morning.
"vale. bien! genial!" mapi nodded happily, making a beeline for the door as you cleared your throat and she came to a halt. "would you like my number so we can make a plan for dinner?" you asked, her face perking up even further as she nodded.
you held your hand out for her phone, saving your number in it and handing it back to her. "you better text me león." you warned playfully as she backed out of the room. "i will! promesa." you melted at the dopey grin on her face as she left, hearing her footsteps thud away.
"estás muy guapa hoy!" your head lifted up as hers popped back in, sending you a charming grin before disappearing again, racing off away to the gym as you let out a laugh and focused back on your laptop in front of you, smile unable to be wiped from your lips the rest of the day.

I won’t burn you.
Jace Velaryon x Targaryen!reader
SMUT
Summary: After the Battle at Rooks Rest, the reader is upset at Dragonstone. Her betrothed comforts her.
Warnings: oral (f receiving), fingering, heavy makeout, talks of death
Masterlist
…………………………..
Jace's eyes didn't leave her body.
Y/n Targaryen stood among the small council table of Queen Rhaenyra. A green at birth, Alicent's second daughter and youngest child, she now stood next to the rightful queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Across the table, Rhaenyra’s heir and the girl's betrothed, Jace.
The two had been betrothed to make amends between the two houses during Luke's petition of Driftmark.
And when Rhaenyra decided to take her children home and return later to King's Landing, she had proposed taking Y/n with them so she may get to know Jace more. Though hesitant at first, Alicent was persuaded to agree by Viserys.
Now, Y/n remained loyal to Jace through the betrayal of her brothers.
Rhaenyra admired the girl's bravery throughout the ordeal.
Now, months later, Y/n stood at the table, utterly silent and motionless, save for the steady stream of tears that ran down her face at the news of the Battle of Rook's Rest.
Her brother injured beyond repair. Rhaenys dead. Sunfyre gone. Meleys paraded around King's Landing like a war prize.
It was the first time she had cried at Dragonstone.
Jace stood on the other side of the table, watching in pain as she weeped in silence.
The council was speaking, he was sure of it, but he couldn't tell what. Nor did he quite care.
He had offered to fight that battle.
In anyone world, Vermax may have been the war prize paraded.
He wanted to help. He did. It seemed he never knew how to help.
The moment Rhaenyra called an end to the meeting, Jace rounded the table to his betrothed. He took her face in his hands. His eyes darted across her face rapidly before his voice came out softly, "Please stop this."
Y/n's eyes finally looked up at him with her teary gaze, and Jace felt breath leave his body.
"My love, please," Jace tried again, not caring for the others in the room.
Her voice was hoarse, barely a whisper, "Why must it all end in fire?"
He wasn't sure what to say to that. "It's… it's in our blood."
She pulled herself from his grip, wiping at the tears herself. "My brother did not even wish to be king, and now he lies in a bed, half-dead. And for what? The feud between our mothers??"
"Watch yourself, my love." He warned, "Do not say the wrong thing just because you are upset."
She pushed his chest lightly, "You don't understand!"
His face morphed into one of anger, "I don't understand? Your brothers live. Where is mine? Slain by one of yours! I DO understand. More than you know!"
She shook her head as fresh tears warmed her face, "Please do not shout at me."
Jace scoffed lightly and crossed his arms, "Do not be unreasonable."
"I wish I was not who I am."
She began to rush out of the hall.
Jace opened his mouth to call out to her, but nothing came out.
…
Y/n had spent hours in her chambers with the door locked. No servants or guards were to bother her.
Her weeping could be heard throughout Dragonstone, making the Prince's gut tear itself in two.
But only when his betrothed's servant came to him to tell him of Y/n’s refusal of food did he do anything.
…
A knock sounded at the door.
Y/n sniffled and her soft voice called out, "Leave me."
"It's Jace."
"I said leave me."
"No."
She turned to look at the door. "Leave."
"Not until we speak."
She cursed lightly for his Velayron stubbornness.
"I won't come in until you say the words."
She finally gave in. "Fine. Come in."
Jace slowly opened the door, a tray of food in his hand. He closed the door behind him before his eyes settled on her frame.
Her eyes were bloodshot and puffy from the tears, a few still escaping down her cheek as she sat on the floor in front of her bed.
He stood awkwardly, not sure what to do.
Finally, her meek voice spoke up, "Forgive me."
His head tilted, "W…what?"
"Forgive me." She sniffled, "I said awful things to you. You know the pain of loss more personally than I ever shall."
"That's not true," he said as he stepped towards her, setting the tray on a table. "You lost your father only months ago."
"He was your grandsire."
"Still."
She continued, "And you've lost Luke, Princess Rhaenys, your father Laenor, your-" She stopped herself. "Your mother's… guard."
Jace looked down at the floor. "Yes, but I… it is different with me."
"I don't see how."
When Jace finally looked back to her, unshed tears swam in his eyes. "I don't know."
She sniffled, "Please just say you'll forgive me."
He knelt down next to her, looking deep into her eyes. "You know I will."
She reached up, brushing his unruly curls from his face before connecting her lips with his.
Jace's body wracked with sobs as he pulled her into his lap. Her kisses became more passionate, intent on showing her feelings through them. His tongue darted out to her bottom lip, and he was quickly granted access to her mouth.
"I love you," he whispered against her lips.
"You know I love you, Jace."
He stopped himself, pulling his lips from hers, "We should stop here."
She leaned forward, connecting their lips again, "I want you, Jace."
He shook his head, "We're not to marry until after this war. I won't sully you."
"I don't care. I need to feel you. Please."
He nodded, his hands pulling her hips closer and reconnecting their lips.
Her hand moved to his hair, pulling lightly.
"Onto the bed," he murmured.
She quickly left his lap, standing and beginning to pull at her dress.
He smiled as he wiped his tears and stood with her, "Let me."
He stood behind her, his lips leaving open mouth kisses against her neck as his fingers unbuttoned the small ones down her back.
She let out a small moan, resting her head on his shoulder.
When the buttons were undone, he tugged her dress down, making it pool at her feet. Now only in her shift, she turned in his hold and kissed him again.
His hands moved to her hips, and he walked her into the bed, playfully pushing her onto it.
She let out a grunt as her back hits the covers, but she laughed lightly at his antics.
He made quick work of tugging off his clothes, leaving him in his small clothes. He then joined her on the bed.
As he crawled over her, she grabbed his face gently, "How do you do it?"
He sniffled from his past tears, "Do what?"
Her thumb brushed over his bottom lip, "Suddenly I don't mind being consumed by fire as long as it is from you."
His lips pulled into a bright smile, "I won't burn you.”
She pulled him to her again in a desperate kiss.
Jace's hands began to pull her shift up to her hips. He pulled away to look at her, "Are you sure?"
She nodded.
"Please, I have to hear it. Please."
She smiled, "I want you, Jace. As much as you'll give me."
He pushed her legs up by her thighs, "I'll give you anything you want." He then made agonizingly slow movements as his body began to move lower and lower down hers. She waited with bated breath.
Jace had never pleasured a woman before. He was rather terrified of failing. But he was intend on trying.
His face lowered between her thighs. He felt breath leave him at the sight that laid before him.
He slowly lowered himself the rest of the way, licking a long stripe up her slit.
She let out a gasp from deep inside her.
He looked up with a hesitantly, "Does that feel good?"
Her hand trailed to his hair, "Please don't stop."
She could feel his smirk against her as he continued his motions.
It was experimental, continuing the things that made her gasp or when her grip on his hair tightened.
When his nose brushed her clit, her hips jerked back as a sinful moan left her mouth.
He reached up, holding her hips steady as he continued.
His tongue moved deep into her now, wanting to moan along with her.
"Jace…. Oh gods, Jace…."
He pulled away and brought himself up to her face again, kissing her deeply. She let out a small whine at the taste of herself on his tongue.
He grinned, "Not like it?"
She let out a calming breath, "Just feels strange."
"Want to stop?" He asked with a tilted head.
She immediately shook hers, "No. No, please don't."
He smiled, "Pretty girl."
Their lips connected again in a heated makeup.
She let out a small gasp when his fingers began to toy between her thighs, and he took the opportunity of her open mouth , letting his tongue explore her.
All-consumed by Jace, she gave in completely, her eyes closed and her lips slowing against him.
When his fingers slowly entered her, her entire body froze.
"This alright?" He whispered when he noticed her stiffness.
She gave a whimper but nodded her head.
"Jace…"
"You're so beautiful."
His fingers began to pump very slowly, his pants tenting at the feeling of his fingers in her.
She pushed herself up to kiss him but his fingers curled and her open mouth paused inches from his own.
He couldn't help the smirk that came to his lips. "You like that?"
She breathed out heavily, her eyes meeting his. "You… You know I… I love you."
"I love you."
"Burn me, Jace."
He kissed her jaw lightly, "I'll never mar your pretty skin."
…
They returned the next day to the council meeting in new spirits. Daemon's eyes moved between the two with a knowing look.
He knows the look of a man that's pussy whipped.
Perhaps he could get Rhaenyra to move the wedding closer.

Push and pull.
Warning: Angst
Pairing: skz x 9th member
Summary: The constant pressure of being a girl in a group of boys is crazy but crazier when your looked at like a fragile baby.
!not proofread so forgive me for mistakes!
**
“Oppa just tell me what’s wrong pleaseee?” She begged, “I also care about you and you need to calm down. This is scaring me,”
"No I want to only talk to the boys, please Y/n?" He said and It stung.
Han had been having a mental breakdown and had been crying for an hour straight. They had just arrived from practice when he decided to brush everyone off and leave to go to his room where Y/n had been begging him to come out of.
"Okay," She softly said and left the room. Was she not going enough for him? Did he not like her? The thoughts run through her head as she laid in bed trying not to cry. The pain of feeling neglected was slowly eating her alive.
She had been begging him to tell her what had happened but he refused. He didn't want to tell her what was going on but once the boys walked in back from their schedules, he wanted to speak to them straight away. Leaving Y/n sad and confused.
She decided to to finish some work as she waited for the boys to finish talking to Han but even then her heart wasn't settled. She wasn't able to concentrate. The guilt was eating her up. It made her feel sick. So she decided to go make herself some tea and that's when she run into Felix in the kitchen making some brownies.
"Hey Felix," she softly smile and greeted him.
"Hey Y/nnie!" He beamed and waved at her then continued to mix the mixture in the bowl. "where you able to get more tape for your knee?"
"yeah i was, Eunwo (their manager) was able to get me some on our way back," she explained while she got a glass of water. "What are you doing?"
"Making brownies for Hannie, he isn't feeling the best," Y/n turned to look at his older brother.
"Can I please know why?" She took the chance to get it out of Felix because she knew Felix wasn't their strongest soldier when it came to keeping secrets from one another.
"No I'm sorry, Han said not to tell you," he looked back at the butter quickly trying to avoid the eye contact.
"But Lix-"
"No I'm not telling you, it's not my secret to tell," he cut her off and continued his work. He felt really bad for leaving her out but he knew himself he couldn't spill anything just yet.
"Okay, fine be a meanie," She softly sighed and got her cup of now iced coffee.
"No don't be like that, Han will tell you when his ready," he pouts walking over to her to her. hoping that someway he could fix the situation.
Everyone knew that Y/n felt left out most of the times because she was the only girl and sometimes the boys had things they couldn’t tell her or share with her but other than that they told her everything and they tried to make her feel apart of the group.
Since felix was the most sensitive and softest out of everyone he felt the need to protect her because felix did feel left out at a point when he couldn’t speak korean fluently and Y/ was the one who would stay up with him trying to help him study. In this case, Y/n was not feeling this 'brotherly' love.
She shrugged his hands off and took a step back trying to get out of his reach. "I'm his bestfriend too, I'm part of this team too but I keep being treated like I'm an outsider," She let out a sigh and wiped the rolling tear. Trying to make sure Felix didn't see her cry.
"No don't cry please," he begged but she simply walked past him but ofcourse felix tried to follow but she stopped him and continued into her room where she locked the door and stayed there for the rest of the evening.
When it was time for dinner she went outside to grab the stuff she had ordered since leeknow wasn't cooking tonight and she sat on the empty dining table. Everyone was still sat in Han's room and there were a few empty cups on the table meaning they had all eaten already.
Felix had left her a plate of brownies for desert and a cup of milk so atleast she knew they still acknowledge her. As she sat there she got bored and saw it was 8pm.
So since she had nothing planed for the evening she decided to get up, put everything away and grab her training stuff to head to the jyp building. It was a short walk anyway and korea was a safe place to be wondeirng at night. The builidng looked quite empty but a few people were locking up and packingup to head home.
She scanned the hallways for an empty room and she finally did find one but was soon interrupted but Jae Beom and his crew. His smile was bright and he was so excited to see her.
"Y/nnie!"
"Oppa!" she squealed. Her sad aura was now replaced with happiness at the sight of her favorite older brothers. She quickly run over and age each of them hugs while saying hello.
"What are you doing here so late? Where are your brothers?" He asked dropping his practice bag and walking back over to her. He pulled her in a hug once again. Although they worked in the same company they barely saw each other due to schedules and stuff.
"Han wasn't feeling well so they are taking care of him and I decided to come practice," She explained. The boys were now all paying close attention to her.
"Ahhh I see! Can we join you?" Mark asks. His hands were in his pockets and they all didnt have makeup on so it meant that they were also here just for free practice.
"Yes sure, I need company anyway," She smiled and headed over to the laptop that was by the speakers. "What should we start with?"
"Can you teach us S-class? Its so hard and we've been trying to learn it," Jackson pouts and raffles her hair,
"Yeah the hand movement is impossible!" Jinyoung chirps in.
She giggled at this because they all reminded her so much of her little brothers back at home when S-class had just come out. "Sure, I can its not that hard," the groans in response made her laugh fill the room so she just played the song and they all run through it as she taught them step by step and by the time they were done, it was 1 in the morning. ONE IN THE MORNING? fuck.
She quickly took out her phone from her bag and looked at it to see thousands of missed calls and (as if in cue) that's when Hyunjin and I.N slammed the door open. they were both panicked and Hyunjins phone was ringing alot while I.N was frantic talking to someone of his phone.
"There you are!" Hyunjin exclaimed panting and huffing. "We've been calling, texting and even fucking tracking your phone, why wouldn’t you tell us your here? This is extremely dangerous Y/n! Oh my God!"
"Y/nnie! do you know how worried we were?! Chan hyung and Leeknow hyung are on some road screaming your name looking for you everywhere," I.N yells at her causing her to jump at the sudden loud voices.
"My phone was off, I was just practicing here-" she tried to explain but was interrupted immediately.
"Okay, it doesn’t matter now, let's go home, we were worried sick, hang on...grab your stuff," he got out his phone and started talking to someone that sounded like Chan. With the way Hyunjin was cringing she knew she was dead meat.
She quickly grabbed my Bags, her laptop and quickly said bye to everyone who were also as terrified as she was but they totally understood and told her to just be safe and to text them. She quickly made her way behind Hyunjin and I.N who were towering over her. Once hyunjin hang up the phone finally, he slowed down so he was walking by her side.
"Never do that again please,"
"But I was just with my friends,"
"You know we don't trust you in a room full men," he softly says ruffling his hands through her hair.
"Yeah I know, I know. I'm in shit, i've accepted it," she groaned but remembered the only reason she was in this mess, "Is Hannie okay now?"
"Yeah he is and he wants to talk to you," She look up at him confused. Her heart jumping.
"What about?" she asked on a confused tone. Hyunjin glances over at I.N who gulps. They both look at eachother as if communicating.
"Felix said that you were upset-"
"I wasn't upset really," She quickly explained.
"Oh well now you can explain that to him anyway but right now those are your least of your worries cause Chan is going to kill you in cold blood," I.N takes of his jacket and hands it to her. she was freezing and she was wearing a tank top but luckily I.N had a hoodie and jacket on.
Ugh. She sighed softly when they arrived to the house. She stopped causing the boys to look at her confused. Her worries and sadness came washing over her. With the way she had fun at the studio with her other brothers she had totally forgotten the depression she was facing at home.
She took a deep breath (quite dramatically) earning a chuckle from both boys and she walked up the stairs into the house where Chan and Leeknow were Ofcourse sitting on the dining table with a coffee mug both. She couldn't even sneak past them which was her only hope in avoiding them. She quickly turned around but was met with Hyunjins chest. sigh.
"Stop, turn around and sit," Chan voice was loud meaning he was serious. she quickly followed his instructions and sat on the chair across both of them.
"What time is it?" He squints his eyes and looks at her.
"1:30 Oppa," she sighed and looked down at her fingers.
"Why would you leave the house without letting us know? What if something had happened and we didn't know-"
"Your always scolding me and not treating me like an adult," she snapped at him. This made Hyunjin stop in his tracks and turned back and I.N paused whatever he was doing to over at them. Never ever did she snap at the boys especially chan because she loved them and they were older than her so she was so respectful. This was a shock and the gasp that left leeknows lips was evidence.
"That's not true I always treat you like an adult," Chan defended himself.
"You don't Oppa! You don't get it, just because I'm 19 doesn't mean I'm a kid, I'm only one year younger than I.N and he gets treated like an adult, everything I do you guys have to be there watching and whenever you guys have conversations I'm pushed to the side. Yes I get I'm a girl and I'm young but it doesn't mean I'm not part of the team, I'm allowed to walk out the house right now if I wanted to, if I wanted a babysitter I would have hired you a long time,"
"Y/n dont raise your voice at hyung like that. Its not right," Leeknows eyes were red. he was pissed off and it was clear.
"Dont talk to me like that Y/n. If you have a problem you tell me, you dont yell. Look at me when im talking to you," She looked up at him. He looked tired, frustrated and mad. He had to first deal with Han...now this?
"fine sorry," she was done. she was done with this conversation, she was done with the boys, she was done with everything. She stood up and stormed out the room. Chan following right behind her
"We're not done here young lady, You think i want this? you think i want to constantly be checking on you? you think i want to be. You keep acting childish thats why i have to keep tabs on you!" with every second he was getting louder and louder.
"Chan dont, lets go calm down-" leeknow grabs his arm trying to keep him away.
"Y/n go to your room," Changbin interferes trying to break the two up.
"See!" she exclaimed and walked into her room shutting it and locking it.

overprotective
leah williamson x mary earps x reader
Leah had always been a protective sister, whether it was in your football career, during school and evening your relationships.
"Got another girlfriend yet then, y/n?" Georgia teased.
Leah scoffs. "Of course she hasn't, not after last time."
You stayed quiet, sat on Leah's bed with her in hers and Georgia's hotel room, your head rested on her shoulder.
Keira found eye contact with you and knew there was something you were holding back, she knew you almost as long as your own sister did.
During your last relationship, Leah had managed to scare the other girl off after finding you both asleep in your room, in the apartment you shared. You didn't understand the fuss, you were both fully clothed?
Leah had control over you throughout your childhood, now she doesn't like to see you grow up, but it's like she doesn't want to see you happy.
"I'm gonna go bed, too tired." You smiled softly, hugging your sister goodbye and smiling towards Keira and Georgia.
"See you in the morning y/n/n. Breakfast is at 7:30." Leah tells you as you head to the door.
Instead of heading to your own room, shared with Chloe, you head 4 doors down. Room 819.
You knocked quietly, not wanting to wake anyone up who may possibly be asleep already.
"Mary? It's me!" You whisper shout, hoping she'll hear you.
The door lock clicks and opens, your girlfriend stood in her training kit still.
"Why haven't you gotten changed, training finished hours ago!?" You giggle, stepping into her room and kissing her softly. "Hmm" You hum. "And you still smell."
"Nice to see you too babygirl." She teases. "Are you okay?" She watches as you get under the covers of her bed, pulling her blanket over you.
You nod. "Yeh, tired. And I want cuddles but not with you smelling like that so go and shower please." You smile cheekily, watching your girlfriend strip from her training gear and heading into the bathroom.
You unlock her phone and start playing a game you made her download, trying to beat her high school, a way to pass the time.
"What are you doing?" You look up and see Mary looking at you. You smile brightly and show her the phone screen, the game on display. She chuckles.
When Mary returns to bed, you snuggle yourself closer into her, scared to loose her the way you lost your last partner. The comfort was too much, you fell asleep and the world left you at peace.
Until it was the next morning and your both awoken to a hammering on the door.
“MARY!”
“Fuck that’s Leah.” You curse, scrambling to hide in the bathroom for the door to be answered.
“Hi?” Mary smiled, slightly confused to the frantic banging on the door.
“Breakfast started 20 minutes ago. You must’ve slept through your alarm. Y/N isn’t there either. Any ideas where she might be?” You sister questioned.
“No? No. Not sure, sorry Leah. I’ll be down in 10 though.” She forces a smile and shuts the door in Leah’s face.
“That shouldn’t have happened. You should’ve gone back last night.” Mary sighs.
“I know and I’m sorry! I just fell asleep.” You sighed. “I’ll see you down at breakfast.”
You didn’t plan your escape route well, opening the door and leaving Mary’s room to find Leah stood in the hall way, staring at her phone which obviously distracted her from heading back down herself.
“What the fuck? Why are you in there Y/N/N?” She raises an eyebrow slightly. “Mary said she hadn’t seen y- No..”
“Leah, let me explain…” You pleaded with her, grabbing her arm to stop her leaving. “You can’t keep controlling what I do!” You snapped.
“Dating a teammate? Is this what is happening. You should know better .” She pulled her arm from your grasp and walked away from you.
-
Leah was angry, too angry. She was always overprotective of you but this was unusually harsh from her. She refused to speak to you unless absolutely necessary for the last couple of days before you flew to Belgium for the Nations League game.
You started the match, played you best and scored twice in the first half. Both times looking over to Leah as the team celebrated with you. Nothing.
Halftime was nearing and you had one last corner to try to defend before heading in. You marked up their attacking midfielder on the back post. The ball came in and you headed it away, the Belgium players going for the ball too and landing on you, pushing you in to the post of the net and sending your clattering to the floor.
You lay stomach down with you head in your hands.
“Y/N! Are you okay??” Mary rushed to your side, her hand on your back gently as you lay still.
“Fuck” Leah crouched down besides you, dropping the grudge she had against you both and took charge as captain, but mostly big sister.
You lifted you head up to look at her, blood dribbling down your face. You spat out a mixture of spit and blood into the grass below you and with the help of your sister you sat up, catching the dripping blood in your hand.
It was quite the nasty look you had, bleeding after bleeding that wouldn’t stop.
It was only when you passed out that everyone took it a little more seriously.
When you woke up in the medical room, Leah had your hand in hers.
“You gave us a fright there.” She chuckled softly, kissing your forehead gently to avoid the cut.
You looked away, closing your eyes to stop tears forming.
“I’m sorry, Y/N. I shouldn’t have treated you like that. I want you to know though, it isn’t because I am mad… I was just frustrated that you didn’t tell me.” She admits quietly.
“I’m sorry.” You whisper, squeezing her hand to let her know you aren’t mad.
“Can I ask how long?”
“3 months.” You finally make eye contact and see the small smile on her face.
She nods. “I’m happy for you.”

Hey!
can i request a one shot where Nat is a secret agent who's supposed to babysit r while collecting info on r's parents. r sneaks to a party and many incidents take place which show nat eventually starts getting possessive (smut too please!)
warnings: possessive behavior, smut, afab!reader, dom!natasha, fingering, edging
Natasha didn't believe in distractions.
Distractions were a sign of an untrained spy. Natasha only saw opportunities. It was easier to do when she was on missions that lasted a long time. If she played her cards right, anything could happen.
But you were different.
Natasha knew you were something different, but she couldn’t figure out exactly what. At first, she told herself you were just entertainment. She could play with your innocent little heart and tease you whenever she pleased. Maybe she'd squeeze some information out of you, but that was never a priority with you.
As innocent as you were, it seemed you had your methods of seduction.
You were helpless and Natasha felt almost obligated to keep you safe. All that whining whenever she disinfected the cut you got from your latest kitchen adventure and your excited little squeals whenever you saw something cute. But, you were still a young adult at heart, and that always left room for rebellion. It wasn't always bad or destructive. That rebellious spirit is what led to both of you saving a stray cat that you had affectionately labeled as your baby, but sometimes it was dangerous.
Now, Natasha had to chase you around the city because you decided to sneak out and go bar hopping with your friends. She foolishly assumed that it'd be one of those stupid late-night snack runs you and your friends liked to go on. But after a few too many pings from the phone tracker, Natasha realized what you were up to.
Bar hopping wasn't your style. If you were to come home tipsy, it'd probably be because you had too many glasses of wine at some fancy restaurant. You were just much too timid to be out at a club and taking shots from the first person who offered to buy you a few. You were incredibly too shy to make out with that same person in the corner.
It appeared Natasha didn't know you that well, because that's exactly what she caught you doing. The relief of finding you was immediately replaced with a bitterness Natasha hadn't felt in a long time. Watching that bumbling idiot try and shove their tongue down your throat made her skin crawl. You deserved better than that.
She slipped through the crowded room without any concern for the others. Natasha practically threw the girl off of you. "Text your friends, I'm taking you home." Her grip was unusually harsh for handling you, but she didn’t allow you to argue with her. Natasha ignored the curious stares and murmuring as she dragged you out of the club. She stopped in front of the car and finally turned to face you. “What do you think you’re doing? I look away for one second and then you run off and start whoring yourself out?!”
You were taken aback by how mean Natasha was being. She’d never talked to you like that. Between the shock and embarrassment bubbling under your skin, you couldn’t think of anything to say. You snatched your hand away and got in the back seat of the car.
The ride back home was painfully quiet. Both of you had a lot to say but were much too pissed off to speak. Natasha was mature enough to at least use the silence to help her calm down.
You brushed past Natasha once she unlocked the door to your parent's house.
"You know we have to talk about this." Natasha said as she locked the door. You were either drunk or loaded with sass at this point, but something was better than nothing. Though she didn't comment on the frustrated groan you let out, she decided it would be a great time to teach you a lesson.
You refused to sit down as Natasha grabbed a bottle of your father's favorite whiskey and two glasses. "I'm not drinking that crap." You grumbled. Your throat burned just thinking about it. All you wanted to do was shower and forget about the embarrassment you faced tonight. "Look, you already ruined my night out. Isn't that enough?"
Natasha sat down in the recliner with her leg spread. "You certainly didn't seem to mind it when blondie was buying it for you." She could only laugh at your poor attempt to look upset with her. When she realized you wouldn't sit down, she patted her lap. "What's all this about, hm? I know this isn't you."
You looked down at her lap then back up at her. "God, you're impossible." Nevertheless, you sat down. The way her arms wrapped around you made you feel safe. Natasha's hold was comforting. "I wanted to hang out with my friends like an adult, then you came in and caused a scene before taking me home against my will." You grumbled.
Natasha examined the expression on your face. Her own lips curled into a devious smirk. "Really, because I think it's a lot more than that." Her hands squeezed your hips before positioning you on her thigh. "I think someone has a little crush they don't know how to deal with it." She whispered in your ear before placing a kiss on your neck. "Now, you wanna act out in hopes of making me jealous." Her fingers slipped into your underwear without hesitation.
Your breath hitched in your throat. "That's not…you can't just- ah!" The protest was quickly cut off by a string of moans Natasha's fingers are much too skilled for you to really try fighting back. Not that you wanted to. "You're not being fair!" You whined softly.
Natasha rested her chin on your shoulder. "And it's fair for you to tease me like that? I didn't even know you owned clothes this tight." Her fingers curled just at the right angle to make you squirm. "I think it's only fair I have the upper hand for a bit." She pressed open mouth kisses along the column of your throat. If she wouldn't get in trouble for it, she would've gladly left more than a lipstick stain. "Are you about to cum already?" She asked with a knowing smirk.
There was no point in lying to her. Your legs were shaking and you could barely think. You'd be screaming if you knew your parents weren't home. "I- Yes, please just let me cum." You whispered desperately. Never had you been the one that needed permission. You had grown used to playfully bossing Natasha around, but now you were entirely at her mercy. "Please, I promise I won't sneak out again…"
Natasha coed at you. "I know you won't do that again." She said, "I wanted you to promise me that you won't run around letting other people touch you. That includes yourself." Her teeth latched on to your ear making you yelp.
You were going crazy. "Fine, fine! I just wanna cum please." Your body was practically buzzing. "It's coming, I'm cumming." You whimpered pathetically. The orgasm built into an unbelievably tight knot in your stomach and you were just ready for it to pop.
Then, Natasha pulled her fingers away.
"No, no, no, no!"
Natasha examined the slick dripping down her fingers. You were quite messy. She sucked the tangy liquid off her fingers as you complained. "Oh come on, you should know by now I don't go around rewarding bad behavior." She tapped your side, signaling you to stand up. "Maybe if you go back to being your obedient self I'll consider giving you a proper one."

Stella tiredly walks down the hallway leading to her dorm, smiling politely at the girls she walked past. She knew she looked like a mess, she felt like a mess. Her tight bun was giving her a headache, stray hairs poking out and falling down her nape, her body sticky from sweat and God did her feet ache. Today's practice was a lot more intense than the previous ones for the week, she was finding her new routine hard to memorize so that meant longer practices.
Her heavy duffle bag brushed against the hallway walls as she moved to the side to not bump into a duo of laughing girls. Stella lets out a heavy breath of relief when she finally stops in front of her dorm, she pulls out her keys from the pocket of her hoodie that she stole from Luke and swiftly unlocks her door. She's welcomed by the faint smell of lavender and vanilla as she opens the door to her room. She closes and locks the door behind her, slipping off her shoes and dropping her bag on her desk chair. Her feet and shoulder thanking her.
Stella is so tempted to just flop in her bed, hiding her face in her pillows and falling asleep, but she knows she can't. She refuses to get in bed sweaty and she knows that if she gets in bed, she will fall asleep and miss her date with her sweet boyfriend. Speaking of her boyfriend, Stella pulls her phone out of her hoodie pocket when she feels it vibrate against her. A small smile forms on her pink lips when she sees who's calling.
“Hello” Stella's soft voice goes through the phone; the sound of his girl's voice brought an immediate smile to his face. Stella walked into her bathroom and put him on speaker, setting her phone on the counter so she can start pulling the many bobby pins out of her hair and into the small clear holder for them.
“Hey pretty girl, how was practice?” Rutgers' smooth voice fills up her bathroom and she couldn't help but smile at her words, she could tell he was smiling just by his tone. Stella gently took out her hair tire, her hands immediately massaging at her scalp at the feeling of her hair coming out of the style it's been in all day. A quiet sigh leaves her lips as she thinks back on her practice “It was alright, these spins are gonna kill me though. I just can't seem to get it right.”
“Don't say that '' Rutger started and she could hear the faint sound of ruffling in the background, as if he was sitting up from laying on his bed. He could hear her disappointment in her tone. Rutger opened his mouth to continue, his tone sweet and encouraging “if anyone can do this routine it's you, don't be so hard on yourself stell you've only been practicing for a week.”
“It's just so frustrating” Stella mumbled with a pout as she brushed through her hair. Stella didn't like being bad at things, she wanted to be the best she could be, and she knew she wasn't doing her best. Stella looked at her reflection in the mirror, she could see the tiredness in her eyes, nothing a little makeup can't fix. Rutger frowns when he hears how defeated and tired, she sounded, he wished she wasn't so hard on herself.
“I know pretty, hey let's just not think about it for the rest of the night. We can talk about it tomorrow” Rutger spoke in a hopeful tone, his mind already thinking about how he could make tonight better for her. He smiles at the soft okay that leaves Stella's lips, and he listens as she starts talking about her day, chuckling at how passionate she sounded as she complained about the petty argument, she and Luke had in the Hughes siblings group chat. Interpreting herself when a yawn escapes her lips.
And in that moment Rutger decides having a comfy date night in her dorm, cuddled up in stella’s bed, sounds a lot better than having a date in a loud bowling alley. Not tonight, he knew his pretty girl was tired and needed her rest.
“Anyways, that little shit is lucky I’m not there to totally wreck his ass” Stella ended her small rant as she undressed and put her dirty clothes in her hamper. Stella took her phone off speaker and brought it up to her ear, and before he could tell Stella his idea of staying in tonight, she was already talking.
“Okay, well I'm going to get in the shower. I'll see you soon?”
“Yeah, I'll see you soon baby, be careful” Rutger trails off to a worried tone, he would always get worried about her slipping or passing out in the shower. Stella always reassured him that that never happened and that he didn't have to worry about it. Rutger decided to keep his date idea to himself, wanting to surprise you instead.
“I will,” Stella giggled, finding his worried tone sweet. They say there I love Yous and goodbyes before Stella hangs up. Rutger smiles and shuts off his phone before he grabs his hoodie at the end of the bed and putting it on, he grabs his phone, keys, and wallet before leaving his room. He makes his way out of the house and to his car, with one destination on his mind.
It was a known fact that Stella enjoys long showers, so she spent the next 13 minutes in the shower singing along to Mitski and Lana del rey. By the time she got out of the shower, her mirror was all fogged up. She spends the next 10 minutes drying off and changing into a matching bra and panties set and covering her body in her favorite scent lotion.
She was standing in front of her mirror in her bathroom, wearing her beige fluffy robe and finishing the braid in her hair, when she heard the familiar knock on her door. A look of confusion comes across Stella's face, and she quickly pauses her music before making her way to her door. The sound of her cute grinch slippers patting against her floor, Stella unlocks her door and is greeted by a grinning Rutger.
“Rut what are you doing here so early? Am I late?” Stella asked in a worried but confused tone. She honestly wouldn't be surprised if she did take too long getting ready, she always lost track when she was listening to music. Rutger laughed and stepped into her dorm room, sliding off his shoes as she closed and locked the door.
“No, you're not late, pretty, just a change of plans” Rutger smiles, dropping the plastic bag on her bed before he steps closer to her. He softly cups her soft face looking into her tired eyes, a small smile on his lips at the cute pout she had on her soft pink lips. Rutger closes his eyes and leans down, softly pecking her lips a few times. The last one being long and hard, Stella pulling away to laugh.
“Change of plans?” Stella asks as she tilts her head slightly in confusion, her hands coming up to softly hold onto his forearms. Rutger pecks her lips one more time before walking over to her bed and lifting up the plastic bag that was filled with some of their favorite snacks.
“I know you must be drained after that practice, so i thought maybe we could just watch a movie and cuddle” Rutger shyly spoke with a flustered smile. He couldn't help but feel flustered as he told her his idea, it was cute how flustered they got in front of each other. Stella smiled big and watched as Rut set the bag on her side table before sitting on the edge of her bed. Stella felt very moved that he changed their date plans because she was tired. “Awe rut, that sounds perfect.”
“I’ll set up the projector while you change into something comfy” Rutger told her, as he turned on the projector before turning on her laptop and picking a streaming app. Stella walks over to her closet and pulls off her robe and hangs it up on the back of her closet door. Stella slides on some soft hello kitty pajama pants, taking off her bra and putting on a canucks t-shirt she definitely stole from Quinn last summer.
Stella was sliding on some fluffy socks when Rutger asked her what genre of movie she wanted to watch. “Hmm what about a drama?” Rutger looked away from her laptop and watched her with a content smile, she was standing in front of her vanity and putting on some Chapstick. Rutger loved seeing her like this, all dressed up in her pajamas…it felt so domestic, and he loved it “sounds good to me.”
After grabbing her phone from the bathroom, she turned off her room lights and carefully crawled over Rutgers legs, and laid on her side by the wall, joining her boyfriend under the blankets. Her bed wasn't big, but it fit the two perfectly. Rutger was laid on his back, and Stella curled into his side, her leg over his midsection. She rested her head on ruts shoulder as her eyes focused on the intro of the movie Rutger had picked.
Rutger was snacking on his second KitKat, and Stella looked at her boyfriend's side profile with a smile. His eyes lit up as he watched the movie. He was so focused, it was adorable. Rutger felt her stare and tilted her head to look down at his tired girlfriend. A shy smile on his lips “do you not like the movie?”
“No no it's perfect” you’re perfect stella thought as she kept looking at him. Rutger nodded and brought the last piece of KitKat towards Stella's mouth, Stella giggled before opening her mouth and letting Rut feed her. Rutger grinned and kissed the top of her head, as she licked any remnants of chocolate from her lips.
Rutger brought his hand that he fed her with to her leg, caressing the back of her thigh. Stella snuggled closer to him, nestling her face into his neck and losing her eyes. Rutgers hold on, Stella tightens, loving the feeling of her so close to him. After a few more minutes of silence between the two, stella muttered tiredly “Thank you.”
Rutger looked away from the movie and down at Stella, he placed a few more kisses to the top of her head. His hand that was caressing her thigh moves up to rub her back under her shirt, his warm touch soothing her. Rutger would do anything for Stella, he could feel her breathing slow down, a sign that she was falling asleep. He brought the blanket higher, making sure that she was all covered up before whispering.
“Always pretty girl”

Perfect Imperfections
Pairing: Jax x Reader (Romantic) / Ragatha x Reader (Romantic) / Pomni x Reader (Platonic)
TW: Bullying (it’s Jax.) / Insecurities / Thoughts of body modification?
Content: You’re self-conscious about your overbite, others try to help.
REQUESTED BY @duskisnotactive
**************************************************************************************
You would have thought being digitalized would get rid of this kind of thing. Nobody else seems to have something like this, do they? You stared at your reflection in the mirror, lips pulled back in a grimace, staring at your teeth. Your overbite stared blankly back at you, almost teasingly.
Sighing, you turned away, closing your mouth once more. If only there was a way to get rid of it. You wished you could simply shove your jaw into place, and move your teeth around. You didn’t even care how badly it would hurt, as long as it was fixed…
A small knock at your door snapped you to reality. You shuffled over to it, cracking it slightly “Ragatha?” you questioned, your lovely ragdoll girlfriend smiling before you. Next to her, your best friend Pomni nervously stood.
“Sweetie, can we come in? You’ve been hiding away for hours,” Ragatha spoke softly, reaching out and taking the door into her hand, opening it fully when you didn’t resist. “Sure… I wasn’t doing anything,” you shrug and retreat into your room, the girls on your heels. You settle onto your bed, Ragatha taking her place next to you while Pomni turns your desk chair around to sit.
“Have you been okay?” Pomni questions, glancing at you with that same worried look she normally wore, the only difference being this worry was more concern for you than anything else. “I’m fine,” you lie, knowing Ragatha would jump on that immediately. Really, you didn’t care.
“Sweetie, that's a lie, everyone knows something’s wrong,” she takes your hand, swirling small circles on your skin with her thumb, “please, tell us.” With a small sigh, you finally give in, “I… I don’t like… this,” you point to your mouth, feeling tears prick your eyes.
“What, your messed up teeth?” Your head shoots up, and you lock eyes with the smug-faced rabbit. “Jax!” Ragatha stands, placing herself between you, “who let you in?!” “Myself. The door wasn’t locked,” he swaggered into the room, one hand on his hip, “crybaby here still upset over their maw?”
You really start crying now. This was too much. You leap from your bed, running as fast and as far from him as you can. You didn’t know where you were going- you didn’t care. As long as you were alone, that's all that mattered. You ended up down by the digital lake, crying into your hands.
You didn’t know how long you were there, alone, but it felt like hours. Not that time mattered in a place like this. Nothing did. You wondered if abstracting was really all that bad…
“Hey, toots.” That voice. You turned, and there he was in all his (lack of) glory. “What do you want?” you snarled weakly, trying to sound tougher than you felt. It wasn’t all that convincing, however, because he sat himself next to you.
“Look, that wasn’t supposed to make you that upset,” he shrugged casually. Was that supposed to be an apology? You stared at the water a moment longer, then stood, “Leave me alone. You’re the world’s biggest @#$%head and I wish it was you, not Kaufmo,” your words were tonless as you delivered them. You swore you saw pain flash in his eyes before you turned away, starting up the path back to the tent.
“Wait!” he called, “just… hear me out? Can I get that at least?” You stop, refusing to turn around to look at him, but listen. “You’re different, okay? You dint react to anything I say to you and it pisses me off. You don’t pay any attention to me.”
“That’s because I don't care about you,” you speak dangerously. “I know. And that just makes me want you to more.” You whip around, finally giving him the attention he wanted, “You want me to?! Then don’t make fun of the one thing I hate most about myself!”
“But it’s what I like best,” he admitted, making you stop in your tracks, “it makes you look… good, okay? And if… if dollface ever doesn’t appreciate you… She's an idiot.” He finally stood, making his way past you, patting your head as he did so, “because I’d never take you for granted, okay? Anyways see ya later toots.”
You watched him leave, back to his normal self. But something made you smile. Maybe he wasn’t so bad. After all, if he liked every part of you… who’s to say there isn’t something more to him too?

i don't see what anyone can see in anyone else (but you)
lotte wubben-moy x reader
w/c: ~600
leah tries to set you up with girl, after girl- only to find out you've been in love lotte forever- oh and you're married
a/n: every time i hear anyone else but you by the moldy peaches i think of lotte😭
this is shorter than i would've liked but i think it ended perfectly
----------------------------------------------------------
“I just don’t get it- every time I try to set you up, you always say no, and it’s always some stupid reason, honestly it’s like you want to be alone.”
You laugh at Leah’s ridiculousness- the girl has draped herself over you, bugging you the umpteenth time about your dating life.
“Leah I’m perfectly fine not going on dates with the people you try to set me up with.”
“But I’m trying to help you! You’re so lonely it makes me sad.”
Leah wipes away a fake tear- placing her hand over her heart, you roll your eyes in return- shoving her off your lap.
“Ouch… first off- I’m not lonely, for all you know I could be in a relationship, maybe that’s why I reject your candidates. Second off- I’m not lonely.”
“Are you?!”
Leah looks at you bewildered- mouth hanging open in shock, you stay silent.
“Are you not single?! Answer me!”
-
You have been in love with Lotte since you first met her at 17- I mean how could you not be.
She’s your everything. You’ve been through everything together.
You still remember nervously confessing your feelings one night during the U-17s world cup- you have Alessia and Ella to thank for that- both sick of you dreaming and talking about her, that they locked you in a supply closet until you confessed.
Lotte- stood smiling at you like an idiot the entire time, until you finished rambling, you refused to look at her in the eye, until you felt her hands grab yours.
“May I kiss you now?”
You’ve been together ever since.
Alessia and Tooney opened the door five minutes after that- you and Lotte had agreed to trick the two, with the intention that they would find out eventually. They never did.
And it wasn’t a secret per se- no one asked, so you didn’t tell.
-
You got married at 21- a week after Lotte had proposed to you.
You both decided to have it at a register office- funnily enough Tooney and Alessia were the witnesses, both finally finding out when they caught you out on a date night- before you could even speak, Ella placed her hand over her heart- swearing to secrecy.
-
More people found out after- slowly one, by one- you remember when Georgia found out- screaming at the top of her lungs at the back of the team bus.
Ellie flashed you a grin and a wink- a knowing smile on her face.
A few weeks later, Mary- less composed shoved her phone in your face, a blurry picture of you and Lotte holding hands on it. Demanding a confession.
Katie found out by walking in on the two of you and hasn’t let you live it down since- making kissy faces when your near each other.
All your friends but Leah- who was too focused on finding you someone in the first place she missed the fact that you were already taken.
-
You transferred to Arsenal shortly after you and Lotte got married, and Leah had decided to make you her best friend.
And as her best friend- she had dubbed herself your own personal cupid.
Three years later and still Leah didn’t know- which is surprising as literally everyone knew.
I mean you both proudly wear your wedding rings- taping over them for games.
The only way Leah would notice if you changed your last name and wore ‘Wubben-Moy’ on the back of your jersey.
-
“I can’t believe you’re in a relationship and didn’t tell me.”
“Lee it was so obvious- I mean everyone knows but you.”
Leah huffs at you- arms crossed against her chest.
“At least tell me who it is.”
Lotte chooses this moment to walk into the room- flashing you a grin as she moves to you quickly. She gently cups your cheeks and presses a soft kiss to your lips.
“What?! You’re dating Lotte?! Why didn’t I know!”
In sync, you flash Leah your left hands- matching wedding bands snuggly on your ring fingers.
“YOU’RE MARRIED?!”

HER KNIGHT, HIS HEART - part four
previous | next
Ser Harwin Strong x female!OC/x reader
WARNINGS: violence, swearing, description of injuries
She could only hope they had been alone as they thought. But the truth loomed over her- a sword above her head ready to drop.
That the temptation grew. And she wasn’t easily spurned from her desires.
Rhaenyra was the only person who knew of her and Ser Harwin’s, now daily, rendezvous. So Elspeth went to her chambers, finding her best friend in a state becoming all too regular. Enraged. And in her riding gears. “What in the Seven Hells…” Not a question.
Icy blue locked with warm green, “Have you heard?” That wasn’t a question either, surely about to tell her the news. Either way Elspeth had been too busy in the thralls of Harwin Strong to have heard tittle tattle. “Daemon stole Dreamfyre for his unborn child with his whore” Gritted teeth while speaking. Why did Daemon have to attention seek and take his niece down with him? Rhaenyra looked up to him, as always.
But Elspeth needn’t say that- the Princess was aware, “What are the Council doing about it?”
“The Lord Hand has journeyed to Dragonstone with an envoy.”
“If Daemon’s Gold Cloaks don’t run them through, Caraxes will burn him and the rest to a cinder,” she sat on a chair, “Daemon would certainly relish in his death. It appears my father’s mind has grown feeble… I presume you’re off to Dragonstone, then?” Her Princess gave a nod- ready to argue any criticism, but Elspeth simply clapped- slow and short, “Good. Daemon listens to you, just be careful.” A swift hug. Elspeth wasn’t one to pray, and the woman refused to begin in that moment. Rhaenyra may not seem intimidating but she held her ground like a volcano.
From across the hallway she saw her sister withdraw into a room. King Viserys’ chambers. If her father had been in Kings Landing, he would have received as earful or be thrown from a window. Alicent never spoke to her. About anything, not in recent months. Maybe Otto Hightower had a piece in that, too. He definitely had with Alicent charming the king for half a year.
She dipped back into the Princess’ chambers, “You mentioned Syrax was big enough to saddle two?” The shock turned into a smile. This was why they were best friends.
Rhaenyra had thrown her some leathers encrusted with dragon scales. And Rhaenyra plaited the curly hair she inherited from her mother. Elspeth didn’t look a drop of Otto Hightower, her mother had taken that helm. Inside and out. She had that same fiery aspect and ambiguity. How she put up with her father was beyond the nineteen year old- nearing twenty in that next month.
Looking into the mirror, she noticed the grey hairs growing from her root- a stark contrast to the wildfyre. She quickly plucked them between her fingernails before Rhaenyra noticed. It had always been that way- stray light, she presumed grey, hairs sprouted amongst her auburn-brown. "Syrax grows restless, as do I," Elspeth tore herself away from the reflection; finding her mother in it. Her and the Princess were quite the pair in matching Targaryen rider's gear. Not that the girls cared, Elspeth was not even anxious about mounting the she-dragon.
They passed familiar faces- including that of the man she'd been courting for half the year. Harwin just smiled- whether out of amusement or disquiet, all she knew was those blue eyes followed her confident figure.
That was the quickest journey to the Dragonpit they had ever ventured. "Dual saddle," The Princess spoke in Valyrian to the man before turning attentions to the dragoness, whose nose butted against Elspeth's hip. Elspeth's laugh on the wind- hand's caressing the yellow scales. The she-dragon keened, a noise of enjoyment juttered. "I told you she's missed you. She doesn't do that for anybody."
Whenever the older girl stopped fussing her, Syrax would garner for more attention, "Okay, sunflower..." The saddle and flying gear had been attached, "May I fly with you?" The creature thought about it, before her head bowed, body slacking and lowering. Rhaenyra, already mounted rubbing those scales. Rough and smooth instantaneously. They glowed in cloud cover, Elspeth couldn't imagine there radiance above- no obstruction.
Luckily Syrax was still on the smaller side, so it wasn't a climb to mount her. It felt natural in the saddle. Horseback had never cut it for Elspeth, the woman chased after that next high. The next chance to evade her father and members of Court, who would see her be anything but herself. Maybe that was why she had an unspoken bond with Syrax and Rhaenyra, they were all free spirits. But Rhaenyra was able to ride a dragon and Elspeth would never be able to take the reigns.
Without a spoken command, Syrax took off. This was not like riding a horse. On a horse, you fought against the cantering and you'd met the ground closely if you were bucked. With a dragon you'd plummet. "To Dragonstone, Syrax." A break to the right, and as if by second nature- there was no wobble from Elspeth Hightower, who hadn't worn the rider's strap across her lap.
There is no time at all, though that could be down to hollers and weightlessness Elspeth felt. Rhaenyra always turned behind, seeing her friend having the time of her life being on Syrax. It was growing dawn as they reached the settlement, grand- yet obscured by mist, only able to see outlines of the grand structures. Rhaenyra had always been one for a dramatic entrance, and this may have been her best one yet. Coming from fog cover and circling over the heads of soldiers, nobles and royalty. No weapons were drawn, but Caraxes looked rattled- Elspeth had heard his battle cry. Her father truly was not the right person to reason with the prince.
Her father didn't hold malice in his gaze upon seeing her there on dragonback, just pure fear. Maybe Elspeth was as stupid as him for putting herself in the reaches of an unpredictable prince who wanted the Hightowers out of court. Nevertheless, she dismounted after the princess, "You're quite the natural at this," Nyra stated before they pressed on. The bows received were for her grace, and the shaking of the head was for Elspeth. But she remained by her friend's side.
"What are you doing here, princess?" He ignored his daughter.
"Preventing bloodshed."
"Ser Criston please escort the Princess and Lady Hightower to safety," Oh, so he was aware she existed. That was disappointing.
Hands behind their backs, in tune with one another, "Be careful not to startle Syrax, my lords. She's rather protective of us," She gripped Elspeth's hand and walked onward. Elspeth hadn't really given any thought to why she came along on this negotiation. She'd grown sick of that fucking castle and the politics... she just needed to get out, Harwin had joined the Gold Cloaks and trained with them while she wilted in her father's schemes.
She just wanted to have fun, with her Nyra. The girl she had known since she was knee-high. "Lady Elspeth, being on a dragon suits you well," That was Daemon's voice, she had zoned out. "Maybe you should come for a ride on Caraxes with me in the near future."
Elspeth let go of Rhaenyra's hand, "I don't think Caraxes would enjoy being sauntered around like a common pony," A sizzle from the blood-red terror, "And I'd never hear the end of it from the Lord Hand."
The Prince stepped forward, dragon egg in hand, "But isn't angering your father, what you do best?"
"We seem to have that in common, Prince." She went to step back, before her arm was grabbed- yanked towards him- slamming into Daemon's chest. Dagger to the throat. Her wide-eyes looked from Rhaenyra, to her father, back to Rhaenyra.
"My Prince, this wasn't part of the plan..." A hushed comment from his whore. Elspeth had been down to the city more than enough times to recognise the web-spinner, Mysaria. This wasn't part of her plan. But Daemon always held a trick or two up his sleeves which was cause enough for her to leave- parting the Gold Cloaks.
Pure horror in those glossy eyes while Elspeth remained unnerved and calm. "I'm right here, uncle. The object of your ire... the reason you were disinherited. If you wish to be restored as heir, you will need to kill me not her." That blade left a burning sting across her neck, despite the high-neck of leather. "So, let Elspeth go. And do what you need to be done with all this bother."
The waves crashed, and her heart pounded, "Take care, Lady Elspeth," He whispered only to her. Pushing her into the bridge barrier, her balance lost. Last thing she saw was the mist she had entered in and that crush of water the last which Elspeth HIghtower felt. Losing all sense of time and direction.
Her body thrashed around by wayward currents, and jagged rocks. She wasn't awake for it- the impact from that height should have ended her instantly. But nobody could put a pin in Elspeth Hightower that easily.
The girl had woken. Body drenched through, with saltwater and blood. Not conscious enough to be aware of the damage done. Her body rested upon a rock, breathing heavily. The sun drowned out of the misted haze in the sky and in her mind. Elspeth was wholly aware, whenever she moved her right arm wildfyre made her groan. Sleep warranted to consume her, but the woman stopped that. At least she wasn't out at sea and still in that bay of Dragonstone. There was one thing Elspeth was certain of.
She needed to get out of the water before her bleeding wounds attracted sharks.
Every ounce of strength couldn't force her up that mossy, slimy stone. Until a hand reach down for her own.
Dainty... she'd recognise the hand anywhere. "This isn't the end for you, my darling." A mane the same colour as hers, styled alike hers or she styled hers to resemble the older woman's. Elspeth fought the urge to bawl, "Hold those tears, Els." An order. And so she did, a force grappled her left arm and thrust her upwards, garnering her enough footing to scramble atop the rock. Body cradled in warmth. Brown eyes that Alicent had inherited stared into hers.
"What's it like in the Seven heavens?" Her bloodied face rested unto warmth. Something stroked through her tangled, soaked hair.
"My daughter, you won't find out. Now is not their time to claim you. He will guide you to your knight." Even in her hazed state, that was odd.
She wriggled, "Who?" The reply was not ringing in her ears but a shiver down her spine.
'The one of dusk and blood.'
She had never known her mother to be so cryptic. Her mind failed her, as she was curled up on moss. She was truly alone. Legs rippled with scrapes and lacerations- she felt beneath the intact trousers.
Then she noticed the cave mouth.
The only way she was remaining in the land of the living was to hold herself and whatever spine she possessed in the palm of her hands. And enter that damned cave. With whatever lurked.
It was a quick realisation that she had lost one of Rhaenyra's boots, every step she took was like stepping on shattered glass. The woman hugged her body, keeping her injured arm somewhat straight. When she got out of this bind she didn't want a stump as an arm to remember it. The cave was dry and hot, so there was no risk of her drowning- succumbing to the ocean.
Elspeth would be a liar if she said her fear of darkness didn't crawl up her neck because it latched onto her being. As did the growing anxiousness that she would never get to see Ser Harwin Strong again.
No.
She wasn’t going to die at the hand of Daemon Targaryen nor miss out on the looks on everybody’s faces when she returned.
That wasn’t going to be easy. Her skin steaming from wind barrelling at her rear and molten temperatures at the helm. At least there was an exit to this passage- but it could potentially lead to a volcano.
Elspeth didn’t dare down at her arm- it felt aflame deep in her bones. Not able to see it, obscured by the impertinent shadows surrounding. It wasn't like her to have that scratch behind her neck, even in a castle full of people spying. But she did then and there- unable to check if the tunnel remained narrow or if she had walked into a dragon's nest.
The rocks felt jagged- slicing her feet but her vision able to make out light at the end. A sense of safety a distant memory as that undeniable scent loomed. It was the same kind from the aftermath of when Daemon and the Gold Cloaks pillaged Kings Landing- rancid flesh and the unmistakeable- dragon. Foot stepping onto something, an echo raptured and her foot more massacred from the skull- fully able to see it and the many, many other human remnants decorating the cave.
Praying to whatever God listened, she hoped that this was not the dragon Rhaenyra had spoke of. It picked off smaller dragons roosting on Dragonstone and had never been claimed- eating would-be dragon riders who approached it.
Drowing in a river of terror- she backed into an especially rough wall. Hot air moved her sodden hair. "You may devour me if you wish," A telling, low grumble rattled her being. So it was how she thought. The Cannibal... "You would be doing me a favour." It hadn't made a move. The silhouette of a mighty head- a few feet above her own - darker than the dim atmosphere. Coal. Two eyes of emerald glowed in that view she had. And they were looking at her.
It hadn't made a move.
Staring at the woman who stared right back.
She was bleeding... she was helpless... why hadn't it attacked?
Killed her?
Elspeth was nudged to move. Onward into the light.
The movement was one of indication. The dragon was letting her go- maybe to chase her. Make the hunt more enjoyable. She was in no fit state to run.
Eyes dawning on magma marshes and barren, lifeless stone clusters. Whatever gap found itself in the scorched earth was replaced with a stream of lava. Dragon glass flaked around and she could smell the sulphur- like eggs, and feel that heat- burning at the skin on her face. Was this what the dragon had planned to do? "Do you plan to cook me before you eat me?" Unable to hold her tongue, even in Valyrian. A rupture behind her. Did the dragon laugh?
Head swivelling, she met the face. Nose upturned into a spike- cute almost. The undulations of thorns almost too midnight to see- if they had been miniscule; they scattered all the way along its massive body. Two prominent horns at the very top of the forehead. Teeth weren't bared, but the sheer size of its jaws... she didn't wish to see them.
Its head bowed. A trick?
Brittle skin nudging with a gentleness under her good arm- lax at her side. "May I?" Good hand raised- the forboding creature simply nuzzled into her damaged palm. Elspeth didn't push that boundary- until the dragon ushered for her to climb up onto its shoulders.
______________________________________________________________
"Coming to court is less of a bore with Lady Elspeth around, I would not push her off a bridge! You must believe me, brother..."
"With your recent activities, Daemon, don’t know what to believe. And you will address me as your King.”
Council room doors shattering open with a boom. She was a sight to behold. Elspeth would deny blindly that nothing hurt- but everything had caught fyre. It was a blessing from the Seven that she stood upright. Least of all afront the Council. "The prince did not push me," All in the room stood from their seats. Her hair covered in ash from the volcanic planes. Her leg a vision of crimson blood and she cradled her arm. A gash thick on at her hairline- matting the brown hair obviously while the auburn camoflagued. "I seemed to have lost my footing."
Everything inside of her melted as she crumbled to the floor.
Elspeth woke up to familiarity. The ceiling above her bed, it swirled- she was woozy. "She's awake," Her right hand in motion- an itching, grinding pain surged across her forearm which was placed in a sling and wrapped in stiff bandages. The girl sat up.
Faced with her 'nearest and dearest'- more true for others. Rhaenyra and Alicent were very welcome. Her father... she wished he'd leave the room. Maybe then she'd find some kind peace- as she had on dragonback. Not that she remembered too much, losing consciousness. The Cannibal working harder to keep her upright. "What happened to you?" Her father asked.
"Your daughter has been through quite the ordeal, Lord Hand. Maybe these questions can wait until milk of the poppy has worn away," Ah, that's why she felt in the clouds. Elspeth couldn't find it in herself to bite back, the pain returning with an incoming vengeance. Though, the woman would rather die than let her father know she could feel pain.
The three of them left at the maesters' instruction. The woman sure that Rhaenyra would sneak in at some point. With that thought the door opened; steps heavier than those of the princess. The maester had retired to his chambers- she assured him that she would 'yell down the Keep' if assistance was required.
Curly hair filled her vision and she practically shot up. "Gods be good," A shakiness to his voice- as if he had been in sorrow. He paid mind to her arm as his large arms pinned her to his chest. "I thought you had left me for the Seven heavens," Thumbs stroking her cheeks- looking into her damaged, fixable face. Yet she was the fairest woman he had laid his eyes on. Even in her bruised, scraped image. His bloodshot eyes the only thing she paid attention to. They only brought the ocean out.
A smile swept across her lips, "Not a feat completed with such ease," She claimed him in her kiss. There she was. Finally calm, at home in the assuring arms of Harwin Strong. Holding onto the Lady with all his might- afraid she'd perish the next time leaving his side. "I'm afraid I’ve realised I’m in love with you, Ser Harwin," But a whisper, meeting bluebell eyes- watering. Shocked.
But the precipice of love lingered in his eyes. "And… I now wish to be wed before I turn twenty."
"But that's in a less than a month,"
She shared his gaze of amore, "There is no mistake, so we had best make haste with arrangements."
Incredulous, "What about your father?"
"Well I have a dragon for the Lord Hand to deal with, if he disagrees of our union..." Harwin blinked twice at her words. "It's a long story."

Hey! Do you mind me requesting platonic yandere for both Joel and Ellie? I was literally imagining like what if reader was a part of an enemy group that maybe kidnapped Ellie but like over the course of like maybe a couple of days they became friends until you know Joel comes to get Ellie out of there
platonic yandere joel and ellie with enemy reader! (unedited)
tw/cw: yandere, manipulation, violence, mentions of death, immolation
word count: 1,755
thank you for requesting! for this i went with a reader whose a little bit older than ellie just because it made more sense in my head! hope u don't mind
"Let me go, let me go!"
The pitiful cries of the prisoner next door were hard to ignore, I wince and continue making her meal.
It's been a day of non-stop yelling and screaming, we had to tape her mouth again and again to not attract anyone, especially the man we first found her with. My higherups had told me it was probably dead since he was very injured when they found them and probably succumbed to his wounds, especially in this rough winter. But the prisoner wasn't too convinced, or maybe she was trying to convince herself who knows.
I enter the room and see the girl, sympathy fills my chest as i see her cradled up, still tied to the pole and within a large metal cage. I begin to unlock it, holding the warm oatmeal in my other hand. Her eyes pierce throughout my body, like a blood-thirsty animal trying to spot my weakness.
"I made you breakfast." I say with a weak smile, my higherups told me that this girl deserved this, she was caught stealing food and pulled a gun on them. Besides, we hadn't intended to hurt her but we couldn't exactly let her walk freely either.
"I don't want it." She says, a scowl on her face as she refuses eye contact with me. I sigh and put down the bowl next to her.
"You haven't ate and it's cold down here," I shove the bowl closer to her. "Please."
I see hesitation in her face for a moment but she relents. "Fine, just untie me."
I smile happily and go to untie her. Once both of her hands are free, she elbows me in the nose, knocking me down on the ground.
Blood rushes down from my nostrils from the hit and the prisoner runs out the cage. Trying to find a way out, she runs to a door leading outside.
"No, wait!" I scream, trying to stand up. Two guards who were standing watch outside push Ellie to the ground. I scream, running to them. The guards pull a gun on her, ready to shoot.
"No, don't!" The girl has a wild scared look on her face and I don't even care if she hurt me, wouldn't I have done the same?
The guards look me up and down, "This bitch hurt you! Besides we can't have her escaping again, we should have killed her when we first found her-"
"No, please, she's just a kid! I promise, if she escapes again kill her but not today." I put myself in front of the gun, the girl looking between me and the guards.
One of the guards tsk and lowers his weapon. I let out a sigh of relief and the guards drag her to the cage again, locking her inside. She gives me a look before I'm dragged off somewhere. The look was unrecognizable but it almost looked like trust?
I come back again the next day. "What happened to you?" the girl asks, staring at the next deep scar in my cheek.
"I was the one who almost let you escape, remember?" I say, and the girl looks down almost apologetically.
"So.. why did you do it anyway? I mean, let me live."
"I would have done the same in your position. You're like me."
A few moments of silence pass until the girl speaks again.
"Ellie."
"What?"
"My name is Ellie..." Ellie utters, she doesn't look at me but it's clear she is being vulnerable.
I smile, "I'm (Y/N), how old are you?"
"Fourteen."
"Wow, I'm only a couple years older than you. So.. why did you steal food anyway?"
"I didn't know anyone lived near! And Joel needed medicine..."
Curiosity sparks in my head, "Is Joel your family?"
"Ugh, no! He's just kinda.. looking after me. I'm the reason he got hurt." Ellie lets out, refusing to say anymore.
"Oh. I know how that feels, to have someone you care about get hurt protecting you," I say solemnly.
Ellie doesn't say anymore so I try to change the topic. For hours and the next couple of days we become closer, we learn we like the same comics and music. Ellie has seen stuff that I have never even known about. She often pleads to help me escape but there is only so much I can do, if they find out I helped I would be killed or kicked out to die. Ellie says I can join her and Joel but I'm not sure if I'm ready to leave..
I'm sleeping peacefully until I am woken up by silent shaking. I open my eyes groggily, fully widening once I see Ellie standing over me while shushing me.
"Ellie..? Wha-" "Shh, I'm going to get you out of here."
"What..?" Ellie forcibly pulls me up, hurriedly putting on my boots and coat for me as I stand in confusion.
"I don't understand- how did you get out and why are-"
Ellie hisses in frustration and grabs me by my shoulders, "Listen! The infected got in and there's no time to explain. Joel is waiting for us, we have to leave now!"
My head is swarming with thoughts and anxiety and before I know it I'm rushing out the door into the cold air with Ellie gripping my hand.
"Where are we going!?" I yell, stumbling a bit in the thick snow.
"C'mon!" Ellie yells, not answering my question as she drags me along further, seeming to head nearer to the woods.
In the distance there is smoke and fire, I can hear the faint noise of glass shattering and gunshots. I gasp, hearing the screams if I listen closely enough but I choose not to.
We reach the fence protecting us from the woods, and Ellie throws her backpack and mine over.
"Okay, you're gonna have to jump over. Joel is going to meet us there."
I hesitate, looking back seeing my whole community go up in flames. In a quick decision, I start climbing the fence falling onto the snow once I make it over. Ellie does the same and we both grab onto our backpacks and head further into the woods. Darkness surrounds us, the only thing lighting the world being the fire illuminating the sky into a bright orange. We run in the woods until we can no longer hear the gunshots. It is silent except for our panting breaths, until there is a sound of a branch cracking.
I don't react fast enough, a Runner charges at me with lightning speed. I scream but before it reaches me Ellie tackles it to the ground, using a dagger to stab at its head.
"Ellie!" I rush in to help her, lifting her off the corpse when its finally dead.
"Ellie, your hand." I point to her, and she looks down to see a ring of teeth marks aligning around her wrist, blood already dripping down from the gash.
I begin to break down, my only friend is infected and it was all to save me. I curl into a ball, sobbing. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm-" "(Y/N), no, I'm fine! Look, I'm immune!" Ellie lifts up her sleeve showing a months old bite mark.
"What.. how?" I look up at her, tears still welling in my eyes. "I don't know how, it just is. But all that matters is that you're okay." Ellie hugs me tightly, I relax in her hold finding comfort in the only friend I have that I don't even notice another set of footsteps approaching.
"Ellie!? Ellie!" A man with a Texan accent comes up rushing to us. An instinctual fear creeps up on me as soon as I see the man, he is bloodied and carrying a shotgun. It is clear he has had some kind of training even before the apocalypse, and him being alive nowadays is enough reason to not fuck around with him. Despite all that, Ellie goes rushing to hug him, seeking protection but all I feel is bad feelings coming from him.
"(Y/N), this is Joel, the man who I was with."
"Hi.." I stammer out the best I can. I don't know if I'm shaking from the cold or in fear.
"Hello," Joel says roughly, he extends his hand to hold my shoulder and I try my best to not wince.
"Ellie said you're comin' with us, so let's get a move on before more trouble comes."
I nod and Ellie locks her arm with mine following Joel further away to my burning home. As we walk, I can't help but question everything.
How did Ellie escape? How is Joel seemingly fine although he was injured and needed medicine? Why do I feel so suspicious of Joel?
More and more questions ambush my thoughts and I can't help but seek confirmation to them.
"Ellie, you never answered my question before on how'd you escape..?" I notice Ellie tighten her grip on me slightly which immediately raises red flags in my head.
"Joel found me."
"Right, but I thought Joel was injured but he seems fine to me." Joel stops leading the way, halting in his tracks.
"You sure ask a lotta questions, kiddo."
"Then give me the answers to them!" I plead, I want to believe Ellie and Joel, to believe I didn't just abandon my community to die by itself. Ellie stammers urging Joel not to say something, but he sighs and says "You really want to know? I was never injured in the first place and I knew Ellie was here for awhile now but we planned an attack today because she wanted you."
"Me? Wait, you killed those people? Most of them did nothing and now they're dead because of you!" Tears are streaming down my face now, my only friend has been lying to me, pleading for me to let her go when she could have done it this whole time.
Joel's eyes darken, "I know, so you better come with us because I didn't do all that shit for nothing!" I back up, trying to plot a run from Joel and Ellie even though I have nowhere to go. "No, I'm not going anywhere with you both!" Ellie suddenly grabs me arms, pinning it to my back. I struggle but the smaller girl is more stronger than me, Joel steps closer, pulling something out of his pocket and WHAM, I feel a pain in my skull and the world fades to black..
a/n: sorry if this is bad and i know it took long, i was struggling with the ending and it also just didn't seem yandere enough? constructive criticism is welcome. also i know joel was just kind of mean in this but i feel he'd be a slow kind of yandere, like he wouldn't start to RLLY care about you until way later but yknow

massive trigger warning for abuse/suicide on this one, but for anyone who thinks psych wards are about protecting people:
1. my friend was trying to choke herself. i begged the staff to help her, and they said she was only looking for attention. minutes later, they call a code, wrangled her to the ground, and forcibly sedated her.
2. a girl was upset because she couldnt call her dad past a certain time. she started screaming, and crying, messing up the front desk. 8 security guards took her down. they broke her arm and sprained her wrist.
3. i came back to my unit in shambles because the staff on hand did nothing to stop a fight. i had to remedy the situation myself. things like this happened often.
4. i was having a trauma meltdown during "quiet time." the youngest patient tried to comfort me, and staff told her to stop and go back to her room because i was "a big girl who can handle herself." i was an out trans guy. the staff member didnt speak to me at all.
5. they separate roommates if they become friends. but they put me and my friend together for the sole purpose of putting us on constant observation together. we had zero privacy, even in the bathroom (which they took the door off of). at state, if you're on C.O, they take away your clothes, possessions, and "privileges."
6. im a CSA survivor. i was forced to regularly occupy the same space as a rapist, no matter how many flashbacks it caused me. they even roomed him next to me.
7. i am intersex. at state, doctors forced me onto an anti-androgen. i refused at first; they labeled me noncompliant, extended my stay, and took away my "privileges" (ex: snacks, going outside, doing fun activities, socializing).
8. they left my friend in a padded room strapped to a table for hours. they then let her off the table and left her in the padded room overnight. she had to wait hours in the morning to be let out.
9. at state, kids have to choose between being forcibly injected with a sedative, or being locked in a padded room if deemed "necessary." your parents have to sign away most of their parental rights, and if they want to sign you out, they need to go to court. for months. the state owns you.
we were all children. none of what i said is a "bad apples" situation. things like this happened every. single. day. it happened at multiple hospitals. these places are made to control mentally ill and other marginalized people. they exist to abuse us into conformity, take away our autonomy, and keep us away from polite society. psych wards should not exist.

Lesbian Wolfstar Prom AU!!
Part III
Part I | Part II
Part III!! Finally some substance!!! And an explanation of who the hell Emma Pierce is lol. I just read the lesbian wolfstar au that @werewolfenthusiast just posted and it inspired me to update this since it's been sitting in my drafts hehe. I hope you like it!! Remus is struggling in this one, again...
Oh also I learned how to add a cut!!! Part III below 🥰
Remus had always known to an extent that she wasn't particularly interested in boys, at least not in the way that other girls her age seemed to be. Being homeschooled until she was 14, she didn't really interact with any kids her age, and after spending a year at her new fancy private school, she still didn't have a good understand of what her peers were going on about in regard to the sweaty, annoying boys in their year.
So yeah, she already knew she didn't care to be swept up behind the science building with a strong senior football player so he could shove his tongue down her throat—which honestly... does anyone actually want that??—but it wasn't until a sleepover with Lily Evans, winter break of Sophomore year that things... clicked for Remus. She still remembers the fluttery feeling in her stomach, watching Kate Winslet kiss Leo while Lily braided her hair, and she still isn't sure if it was Kate herself or the feeling of another girl's fingers carding so gently through her curls, but she understood herself a bit better that night.
She never watched Titanic again, and she packed that knowledge away in a private little box shoved to the back of her head, locked and not to be opened until she was maybe 30. Or 40.
And then she became friends with James and Peter.
And Sirius.
The four of them became fast friends—inseparable at all times—god, she loved them all so much.
But Sirius was different.
It was so hard to understand how Remus felt while being around Sirius. She had always been the most beautiful person in any room, maybe in the world, but although it did not go unnoticed by Remus by any means, there was always something else that just... stood out.
She was so smart and quick and funny in a cool, cutting way that no one else their age was. She was top of the class without trying and she was passionate and she made boys cry. She was captivating. And Remus was drawn to her in a way she's never been before.
And then she showed up to the first day of school with a new hair cut and the entire school whispering behind her back—did you hear? Black's a lesbian now—striding confidently up to their typical lunch spot, and Remus knew: she was in so much trouble.
From that day forward, all she could think about was Sirius.
Sirius's laugh.
Sirius's eyes.
Sirius's long fingers and what they might possibly be able to do...
It was torture.
But she also couldn't help but feel like maybe there could be something there, Remus and Sirius had always been something else—something different than the soul-bond that James and Sirius had, and something much more than her friendly but strained relationship with Pete, even something unique from the friendships Sirius shared with other girls their year.
They were different, Remus was so sure.
And just when she was starting to come around to the idea of maybe trying her hand at flirting—for the first time!—James decided it would be a grand idea to discuss Sirius's taste in girls.
It was something that he'd apparently been trying to push with Sirius since she'd come out to them all—he seemed to be under the impression that talking about the girls Sirius might like would make everyone, but especially Sirius, feel more comfortable in their friendships. Remus wasn't sure. She kinda thought that maybe they shouldn't know so much about each other.
Unless it's me she likes. I wouldn't mind knowing that.
It had been a failing endeavor for about 2 months, with Sirius refusing to speak about the subject unless it was to crack a joke about Lily, which James was not very amused by.
And then one early November school day, it happened.
"Come on Sirius, we all know you have a type! You're so damn particular about everything else, how could you not!"
"Shut up, dumbass!" Sirius was leaned back in her plastic school chair, balancing on the back two legs in a way that arched her back and pulled at her shirt to reveal her bellybutton—which Remus was decidedly not looking at.
"Just because you're always drooling after every red head you see doesn't suddenly mean everyone likes the same type of girl. Besides, girls aren't just separated into types like that, they're not movie genres." Remus felt good about this answer. It was smart, like everything else Sirius said.
"Okay fine! Then just tell me who you like—"
"Jesus Christ James we've been over this! I don't like anyone, this isn't middle school!"
"Fuck off, I don't believe you at all! You're always so defensive about it whenever I ask, there's gotta be someone here that you like. There's like a million girls at this school—" "Not true." "—there has to be one that you at least think is hot. Just tell me, and I'll drop it."
Sirius sighed in response and pinched the bridge of her nose with her long fingers, which again, Remus wasn't looking at. She was, however, listening very carefully for Sirius's answer while badly pretending to complete the assignment that had been given to them fifteen minutes ago. She'd answered two out of twenty-five questions so far.
"If I tell you, you can't make it a whole thing okay?" "I can't promise that at all, but I won't ask again for the rest of the day!"
Sirius squinted at him for a moment before responding, "Deal."
She sat forward, smacking the chair fully back to all-fours before leaning her elbows on the edge of the desk. She looked around the small classroom, and Remus couldn't help but follow her gaze—what was she looking for? Was there some kind of secret... thing? Some secret power that slowed her gaze long enough to be noticed? Remus wanted it, whatever it was.
Finally, Sirius leaned forward even more, until her voice could be heard quietly as she declared: "Emma Pierce is pretty hot."
Emma. Emma Pierce.
Varsity Cheerleader with the long, smooth blonde hair and beautiful curves that Remus has heard Pete grossly wax poetic about on many occasions.
That Emma Pierce.
James let out a long whistle and clapped Sirius on the back—Remus noticed the pale-pink tint developing on her lovely cheeks and it made her stomach lurch.
"Damn Sirius. I was right, you would go for the hottest girl in school—" "Lily, James?" "—excluding my beautiful Lily of course. Nice! you should make a move, see where it leads!"
Sirius let out a short, loud laugh and shoved James away roughly. "I'm not going for anyone, dipshit. I just think she's pretty, she's got that long hair and... yeah I'm not talking about this anymore, actually!" She stood up as the bell rang and began collecting her things. "Someone wake up Pete, I think he drooled on his assignment."
Remus sat, stunned, and thought about her own frizzy brown hair. The color of dirt.
It at least used to be long, down to her waist even, but Remus had decided to chop it all off as a show of solidarity with Sirius this year. Her mom had cried when she cut it. She'd wanted it to look edgy and cool, kind of like the short, mullet-y style hair Sirius sported now, but it looked more like she was the young mom of a two year old with a baby on the way. The frizzy curls now just touched under her jawline, and when Sirius had first seen it, she had ruffled the curls aggressively with a beaming smile. It was amazing.
"Moons, you alright?" Sirius broke her out of her reverie, and was looking at her with wide, concerned steel-grey eyes.
Her eyelashes are so long.
"Yeah... m'fine Pads."
Oh my god, I'm so fucked.
#Remus is so fucked!#lesbian wolfstar#sirius and remus#let me know if you're interesting in more of this!!!

So uh, that last episode huh?
Here's my coping fanfic, spoilers for all of campaign 2
@beeware-of-lulu @demise-seems-dead
Cold. That's all any of them could feel when the party slowly woke up. They came face to face with the Maw, face to face with the secret of Groteth. It was horrible, a secret that changed everything. However, the panic was overtaken by hands yanking them out one by one. The Lochquid was starting to burn at their skins. Thankfully, the croissant had saved their lives. Even a moment later, they would have joined Hugo's fate. Skin completely gone.
Only Ellga and Mathide were awake, but both were clearly out of their mind. Neither could speak, even when prompted in their own languages. Barney and Chip were out like lights, barely breathing. Thankfully, even with the Maw...well, uh, eating the entire land of Groteth? The world seems pretty intact. Jacque and Evena easily scooped them all up and headed to the nearest hospital. The party was settled into a shared room as they were slowly healed and recovered their HP.
Days passed before they all came back to their senses. Mathide was first, asking to see their kitty again. With JJ back on their shoulder, they seemed to relax.
"What did you see?" Evena found herself asking, eyes still locked onto her sister. The silence was painful, hearing anyone's voice would bring some tame to the storm.
"...I wish not to speak of it. I fear if I do-" a clawed hand went to their throat. "I will fall back into that state. I just recovered." A weak smile formed on their face. "Maybe one day."
Ellga was next, but she was quiet. She refused to speak, just looking on the rest of the room. Her eyes would focus on Barney, then to Evenna. It was as if she had to pick between the two families, but she didn't really. The moment she was healthy enough to walk around, she seemed to perk up more. Giving both sides plenty of hugs and playing card games with her sister. Yes, her sister. Even if they weren't related through blood, they were forever connected. No one could beat a good game of war between siblings.
Chip was right after, though it took a while for him to click back to reality. After all, he was the one who had gotten closer to death in the past. It seemed to help once his parents visited. Casual reminders of who he was, that life was worth living. He stayed bed ridden, but played with Ellga and Evenna best he could.
Barney, of course, was last. He seemed more ghostly than before, but in a good way. He smiled, he seemed healthy. For once, he seemed to be himself. Did it suck he was dead? Yeah, but he got to spend the rest of his time with his family. He had spent so long searching, and now he was there.
~ ~ ~ ~
4 months had passed. Groteth was somehow thriving. Though still separated by borders, each land has grown closer.
The Vampire was destroyed, and so were the Vanian laws. Another Count, most likely another high up official, took over the town. Led it to be what Drac wanted in the first place. A haven for vampires, a safe space for all. With the laws gone, it was easier to enter too. The Farney family, including Ellga and Evenna, moved to the outskirts of Vania. Barney remade the farm, and got to relive all that he missed while he was training. Even if that included the troubles of having 2 boys and 2 girls fighting over who got to break the wishbone and which chore was easier.
Ellga kept who she was intact, just let herself remember some of the stuff that came from before her life as a Von Brath. Not that she wanted to keep that name. So she didn't! Ellga and Evenna Farney gladly were adopted into the family. They still have to share a room, but honestly, it's comforting. Sometimes you need to hear the other person breathing or the shifting of blankets. She still has Boris and makes sure that all of her axes are nearly tucked in every night.
Chip hasn't moved on, persay, from Carol. More, learned to live on. Grief is still hard, and he still struggles, but he finds comfort in his new found family. His party, of course, but also his new fellow agents. Yup, out of retirement! Now at Sheath, he mainly works undercover gigs as his natural self. Every Sunday, he shared dinner with the Farney family, and each mission starts with the coffee and pastry of the day from Mathide. Skipper comes with him too, just to keep him on track. The voices, the wish to join Carol and just....
Those faded overtime. Wheezer recommended a really nice phycologist who helped him get on medication and into therapy. Saved his skin most of the time.
Mathide spends their time back at their bakery. Back in Attro City. Made it more of a cat cafe to get an excuse to have JJ and Jacque constant by their side. On their off time, they work to remember the past lost. Their family, friends, life. Doesn't take away, most just...adds to who they are as a whole. Honestly, business is booming now! Mainly thanks to the fresh ingredients from the Farney farm. They don't mind the time shared with Evenna, some trust was lost, but a new family was formed. Not that they would ever admit it.
All was calm and better. Life could move on smoother than before. They got their happy ending, just like we all wanted.
Fanart to follow, I promise

Birthdays: Thomas Bridgerton
Pairings: Colin + Penelope Bridgerton
Summary: It’s the first birthday of Thomas Bridgerton (Lord Featherington).
In honour of my 24th birthday, here's the Bridgerton family celebrating Thomas's first birthday.
Main Masterlist | Polin Masterlist | Birthdays Masterlist
Penelope was very surprised when she found herself expecting their first child. She was terrified. Ever since Colin had found out about Lady Whistledown, he had spent a lot of time either giving her the cold shoulder or bitter remarks.
She had grown up in a household where her parents hated each other. She refused to let her child grow up the same way.
At Francesca's wedding, she pulled her husband into a side room (quite possibly Anthony's study, she doesn't know) and told him her plan to speak to the Queen.
"Pen..." Colin started.
"No, this is the actions of the consequences I chose," she tells him, making sure to keep a good hold on her husband's hands. "I just hope the Queen accepts me," at Colin's furrowed brow, she finishes her sentence. "I do not know what her conduct is on beheading expectant mothers..."
Colin blinks a few times. "What?
"We..." She cuts herself off. "I am to have a baby."
Colin looks from her face to her stomach and then back to her face. "We are having a baby?"
This time, it was Penelope's face that frowned. "Do you honestly expect me to believe you would suddenly be at my side when I have felt more like a Featherington in my life, despite what it says on our marriage license?"
Colin looks at his wife with heartbreak in his eyes. Christ, he really has done wrong by her. "Pen. I am so unbelievably sorry for how I have treated you this past week," he steps forward and cups her face with one of his now free hands. "I promise you, I will spend the rest of my life trying to make it up to you."
Penelope didn't want to look at him doubtfully, but how could she? She knew she should have told him at some point leading up to the wedding, but such a revelation (ideally) that they needed to be alone.
Colin didn't recognise the doubt shining in her eyes - it was something she had never shown him before. He tilted his head and looked at her confused. He had only seen the look in Eloise, whenever she was doubtful of... his... "Pen, do you doubt me?" Her lips quirked as she shrugged a little. "Oh, Pen," he leaned down to rest his forehead against hers. "I swear to you, I will spend the rest of my life making up for the lost time we should have spent together. That I vow to you."
Penelope never expected to have a baby boy. All she wanted was a happy and healthy baby. If she was honest with herself, she was hoping for a little girl.
For years, she has wanted to escape the confines of Featherington House, with the family that once put her down continuously put her down. And now, with the arrival of her baby boy Thomas, she was back in Featherington House.
Penelope held Thomas as she and Colin looked at the walls that had once haunted her. "First things first, the yellow is going," Penelope tells Colin, hiking Thomas higher up her hip.
Colin looked at the walls that reminded him far too much of when he previously courted Pen's cousin. "Of course, my love. What colour would you suggest?"
Penelope looked down at her son, who had a tight grip on one of her locks. "What about green? You mix the Featherington Yellow with the Bridgerton Blue. Ow! Thomas, please do not pull Mama's hair."
Colin moved around the back of his wife and gently eased his son's hand from her hair to one of his fingers. "That would be perfect. I have always thought green looks rather enchanting on you."
"Flirt," Penelope says as she walks to the drawing room - the same drawing room she had always sat at the windowsill watching Bridgerton House. Watching for Colin and Eloise.
"If I can not flirt with my wife, there is something very wrong with society."
Before either of them knew it, they had fully settled into Featherington House, and Thomas's first birthday had arrived.
Penelope had fought, slightly heavily, with her mother about a wet nurse and a governess. But, Penelope was addiment on raising her son herself.
"You had a governess, and you turned out fine," Portia had told her daughter.
"You call the most prolific gossip writer in all of London, fine?" Penelope batted back, and that practically shut the conversation down. Colin had watched from the other side of his wife, in the dark blue Bridgerton drawing room of their former home, with a proud smile on his face. There were still moments where Whistledown shone through.
After Thomas was born, Colin and Penelope settled into her old bedchamber. It was the room Penelope knew (more the fact she didn't like the idea of sleeping in one of her parent's chambers. Thomas slept across the hall in what was Prudence's chamber.
Colin made sure to wake up in the middle of the night to tend to their son - unless he needed feeling, that he had no choice but Penelope up. He couldn't help but find her adorable when she first woke up to feed their son.
Penelope woke up the same way she had since she and Colin officially christened their marriage (and since then, her childhood bed). But with her husband between her legs, watching her as her brought her to completion.
As Penelope caught her breath, they could hear Thomas start to make his upstairs known in his cot. "Do not worry, dearest. I shall see to him."
Penelope watched as Colin got out of their bed, naked as the day he was born, and quickly threw on a robe (so as not to startle poor Rae, again...) so he could go see their son.
Not ten minutes later, Colin walked back in, their son cradled in his arms as Thomas chewed on his toy. Penelope was now sitting up in bed, bringing the bedspread with her, to make sure her breasts were covered.
Thomas let out a squeal of delight once he caught sight of his mama. He moved around in Colin's arms, trying to jostle himself into the arms of Penelope.
"Thomas! Good morning, my darling," Penelope smiled, reaching out to take her son in her arms. Because of this, the bedspread dropped. And in turn, Colin nearly dropped their son. Penelope giggled a little and sat Thomas standing in her lap. "Hello, you," she pressed multiple kisses to his face. "Hello! Hello!"
Colin smiled at his wife, and she smothered their son in kisses. He was grateful he was able to put his grudge with Whistledown to bed and spend the rest of his life with his wife - who had always been Whistledown (he reread her letters, and it was so obvious!). He reached over and started to run the palm of his hand along the back of Thomas's skull.
"Do you know what today is, Thomas?" Penelope asked him. "Do you?"
Thomas didn't know how to talk just yet, but he could understand words brilliantly. Just like his brilliant mother, Colin had once told her (read: flirted).
"It's your first birthday," she tells him. "That means you are this many," Penelope holds out her pointer finger. "You are 1!"
Thomas lets out another coo and holds out his hand, much like Penelope's, with his pointer finger out.
Colin and Penelope gasped. "Yes, you are that many," Colin told his son, leaning forward to press a kiss to the crown of his head. He looked up at his wife and pulled away a couple of inches as Penelope rested her cheek on Thomas's head.
"When can we have another?" She asks.
"Do not tempt me, you minx."
"Violet always loves it when her grandchildren stay the night. Why not let him stay the night after the party at Number Five? We would not be far."
Colin let out a noise, which could be classed as somewhat inhumane as he pressed a long kiss to his wife's lips. "You, my gorgeous wife, are a genius."
Violet was bouncing her third grandson, fourth grandchildren, and the current Lord Featherington on her lap as he stared up at her with his big blue eyes - they were so much like Colin's. But that hair... that was all Penelope.
"Violet?" Penelope encroached on her mother-in-law's space, softly sitting on the settee next to her. She looked over at Colin, who (even though he was having a conversation with his brother Anthony) could not take his eyes off his wife.
"Penelope? What is it, my dear?" Violet's eyes bounced back and forth between her son and daughter-in-law.
Penelope took Thomas's hand in hers. "Would you like for Thomas to spend the night tonight?"
Violet gasped, holding her grandson to her chest. "Oh, do you mean it? Truly, Penelope?" The redhead nodded in confirmation. Violet let out a loud, unladylike squeal of joy. "Oh, Penelope! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
Colin's eyes bounced between his wife and his mother - and judging by the way his mother was acting, she was more than happy to look after Thomas for the night.
Tonight was the night he would get his wife pregnant for the second time.

Tales of Bloody Bug and Chat Noir - Chapter 66 - Common Ground
Beginning || Previous || Next
Alix arrived at the swimming pool with Adrien and Felix. She and Adrien had blocked out Felix’s ramblings about Kagami and his new plans on winning her heart. She rolled her eyes as they entered the building. They stopped as Chloe and Zoe greeted them. Chloe beamed as she locked eyes with Alix and Adrien.
“There you two are… and the plus one. Well, he can stay out here while we work,” Chloe remarked.
“Excuse me?” Felix retorted.
“I don’t believe I stuttered, and I know I was speaking loud enough. Maybe you should get your head out of your own ass.”
“Unlikely. Let’s get this over with before others start showing up,” Alix butted in.
Felix opened his mouth, but he was ignored as Chloe entered the pool area with Adrien and Alix. The pair transformed into replicas of the swimsuits they got from Audrey.
“Alright, Adrikins, I know you know what to do, so this is more for Alix. I’m going to tell you how to pose and we’ll get the shots. No fighting me on this as we’re aiming to appease a devil in disguise. Make her happy, and all will be well,” Chloe explained.
“Try me,” Bloody Bug hissed.
Chloe sighed and rolled her eyes. She barked instructions at Bloody Bug and Chat Noir as she fought with Bloody Bug over some of the poses. She grumbled and resorted to showing Bloody Bug images of what Audrey wanted instead of trying to coach. Bloody Bug relented with a few, but refused the sexualized poses for herself and with Chat Noir.
Chloe groaned. “Can’t you just do them? Yes, they’re weird, but it’s for Audrey’s magazine.”
“Nope.”
“Bug, please, she-.”
“I don’t care. That hell beast can shove it up her ass.”
“I’m serious. If you don’t do them, she’ll get them herself.”
“Then let her. I won’t do it. End of story. Tikki, spots off.”
Bloody Bug de-transformed into Alix. Tikki spiraled out of the earrings and reformed in her human form wearing a cute one-piece red and black swimsuit. Alix grabbed her bag and headed up to a locker room and changed into the Bloody Bug themed bikini that Audrey forced onto her. She didn’t care for wearing two-pieces, but she was at least grateful that the bottoms were boy-cut shorts than an actual bikini bottom. She stepped out of the changing room and paused when she heard Tikki’s voice.
“I said get in the pool with me!” Tikki roared.
“No,” Plagg retorted.
“I said: Get in the pool with me!” Tikki screeched.
Plagg yowled that was followed by a splash. Alix stepped up to the railing and looked down. Tikki had thrown Plagg into the pool and jumped right in after him. Tikki grabbed him before he could make an escape. He yowled and tried to fight her, but she held onto him and refused to let him go. Alix shook her head as Tikki swam around with Plagg.
“They look like they’re having fun,” Adrien remarked.
Alix glanced over as Adrien joined her dressed in a simple black swimming trunks with a green pawprint on it. “Well, at least one of them is.”
Adrien grunted as he looked towards the entrance. Alix followed his eyes and watched as their team filed in. Amongst them was Marinette with another girl with black hair tied back in pigtails and with glasses on.
“Who do you suppose that is?” Alix asked.
“No idea, but I don’t really care,” Adrien remarked.
“Someone is still moody. Try not to let it sour a day that’s supposed to be relaxation. You know, that thing you’re supposed to be doing to distract yourself?”
“Hard to relax with everything hovering over my head and seeing the girl that assaulted me.”
Alix rolled her eyes. “Look, Nino’s here. Why don’t you just stay with him, alright? And just… try not to think about Marinette being here, alright?”
Alix left before Adrien could answer. She headed down to the pool as everyone else made their ways up to the changing rooms. She paused when she saw Kim enter with a red-haired girl about a few inches shorter than him. The pair paused and gawked at the others up on the second level, then Tikki and Plagg in the pool. She pursed her lips and dove into the water before he could approach her.
Alix stayed underwater as long as she could, but it wasn’t long enough. She surfaced right as Kim and his lady friend approached her. She sighed and looked up at him.
“Can I help you?” Alix asked.
“What the hell? I thought this was supposed to be a date?” Kim demanded.
“A date? But, Kim, I thought this would be a date for us?” the girl pointed out.
“Not now, Ondine. What the hell, Alix?”
Ondine frowned and looked away.
Alix’s stare narrowed into a glare. “Don’t turn this around on me, Kim. You played this girl and for what? To have a chance with someone that would never consider you just like when you pursued Chloe?”
Kim scoffed and crossed his arms. “Well, fine. If you’re going to be that way, I don’t want you anymore anyway. Good luck getting any guy to-.”
“Surprise, Alix!” Rose cheered.
Alix turned as Rose cannonballed into the pool, splashing Kim and Ondine. Rose laughed and threw her arms around Alix. Tikki’s eyes lit up as she approached Rose.
“What was that you did? It looked fun!” Tikki asked.
“A cannonball. Wanna try it?” Rose asked.
“Do I!” Tikki exclaimed.
Alix and Rose watched as Tikki scrambled out of the water just to do a cannonball back into it. Tikki laughed as she repeated that cycle. Alix chuckled before she turned back to Kim and Ondine, but they were gone.
“Thank goodness they’re gone,” Alix remarked.
“Is it true this was supposed to be date with Kim? How come you didn’t tell me or ask permission?” Rose asked.
“Because it wasn’t really. Chloe and her bitch mother wanted swimsuit shots of Bloody Bug and Chat Noir, Kim wanted to take me to the pool, and Adrien needs to relax. Thought I could take care of the queen bitch, give Kim back what he’s owed, and help Adrien out. Two out of three ain’t bad so far.”
“Oh? What’s wrong with Adrien?”
“He’s stressed out. A lot of frustration from a lot of different sources. Gabriel, Nathalie, the kwamis, Sabrina, himself.”
“Himself? I mean, the others I get from what you told me, but what’s wrong with him?”
“Mayura stole away his trauma related to the fondling he received from Heart’s Design and Volpina. Well, the emotions tied to it. He clearly still remembers, but that fear is long gone. I’m assuming without that fear attached to those memories, it’s allowing him to have more… suggestive thoughts that he’s not too fond of because of the frustration it causes him.”
“Oh! And he doesn’t have anyone?”
“Only himself.”
“Well, I mean, there’s one sure fire way for him to alleviate himself of those frustrations.”
“Do you honestly think that would have crossed him mind? He barely understands any of it as is and it’s none of my business to explain that shit to him. That should be Gabriel’s, or, at the very least, Dad’s now. The best I can do is just throw distractions at him.”
“Well, you could also tell Alim too. I doubt Adrien will. And, yes, it is embarrassing, but he does need help, right?”
Alix sighed. “Yeah, he does. I’ll be sure to tell Dad.”
“Excellent. Now, let’s swim!”
Rose dragged Alix further into the water where they swam around. Tikki snuck an opportunity and created pool floaties and other pool toys along the wall. Alix watched as Tikki made Plagg a custom floatie for him to curl up in and nap on. Tikki tossed Plagg onto it as the others finished changing and got into the pool.
Alix paused as she watched the others. Marinette sat along the edge with her friend she brought in the shallow end. The pair kept to themselves away from everyone save for Mylene and Ivan who settled in the shallow end too. Nino and Adrien barreled down the stairs as they roughhoused before jumping into the pool. Chloe strutted down and picked a lounger to sit in while Zoe sat next to her. Kagami flew down the steps and into the water with Felix shortly behind her. Alix grimaced at the sight.
“Kagami didn’t seem too happy there,” Alix pointed out.
“No. What do you think is wrong?” Rose asked.
“I think it’s Felix. He’s been trying to win her back after Mayura took away her love for him. I’m getting the impression she’s not liking the advances.”
“I can’t imagine she would. That is incredibly frustrating when someone can’t take a hint. Oh! Think she likes girls?”
“I’ve no idea, but you have my blessing.”
Rose grinned, kissed Alix on the cheek, and then swam over to Kagami and Felix.
Alix smiled and shook her head as she watched the rest of the team join the party. Marc slinked off towards the shallow end and kept to himself. Max didn’t change and sat near the door, away from everyone. Luka sat in a lounger with a girl with tan skin, brown hair, and big brown eyes taking the lounger next to him. She talked about something music related while Luka shot nasty glares at Alix. Alix snorted and returned the glare as she heard someone yell at her to watch out.
Alix turned as she was pushed underwater. Pain shot through her head, neck, shoulders, and upper back. She fought through it and scrambled out from under the weight to the pool’s edge. She gasped for air as she breeched the surface and clung to the side of the pool. Ondine, Rose, Adrien, Marinette, and Chloe crowded around her as they checked on her. She took slow, deep breaths when she heard Kim laugh.
“Sorry, Alix. Didn’t see you there,” Kim jeered.
“Kim! That’s not funny. You could have seriously hurt her!” Ondine chastised.
Kim shrugged. “I don’t see what the big deal is. Probably the closest she’d ever get to having someone piledrive her fat ass.”
“Excuse me?” Rose, Chloe, and Luka yelled.
Alix grumbled under her breath as her anger tore through her. Her every impulse screamed at her to turn around and sock him in his face. She gritted her teeth and fought against the impulse. She pulled herself out of the water and headed to the second floor. She threw a towel over her head and sat on a bench. She listened to what sounded like Kim getting his ass kicked.
Alix sighed and leaned forward as she stared blankly at the floor. She zoned out until she saw a pair of legs walk by her. She glanced up and saw Kagami stare down at her. She sighed and looked at Kagami properly.
“What do you want?” Alix asked.
“Are you ok?” Kagami asked.
“Why do you care?”
“You took on the weight of someone twice your everything. Water or no, the impact would have hurt.”
“And? You still haven’t told me why you care. Last I checked, you didn’t like me. I was an obstacle that got in your way. Am I still not that?”
“That was… different. You’re still an obstacle, but one that could benefit me.”
“So, Felix is bothering you.”
“Is it obvious?”
“Very.”
Kagami tsked. “If you can see it, why can’t he?”
“Because he’s in love with you. He wants to be with you.”
Kagami shook her head. “His love is misguided. My love for him is gone and I’ve no intention of letting myself fall for him again. It was a mere momentarily lapse in judgement, but never again.”
“I’m not one for all that lovey dovey nonsense, but why do you hate him so much? Sure, he’s no prince charming and is an insecure little bitch, but he was just being himself. It’s not his fault that you fell for who he was.”
“It’s… complicated.”
“Then sit and explain.”
Kagami considered, then took a seat. “Very well. I’ll explain, but you are not to cast any judgements on me for how me and my family are.”
“I’ll keep them to myself, mostly.”
Kagami shot Alix a side eye, then looked out into the distance. “I come from a long line of female samurai, one of the onna-musha. The mantra of the Tsurugi clan all their onna-musha is that we follow orders because we want to, not because we’re told to. One of my orders was to settle into a life with the Agreste heir, as was my right by noble birth to marry other nobility.”
“Then what’s the issue with Felix? He’s more nobility than Adrien,” Alix remarked.
“But not the noble I was meant to marry. It wasn’t with his family my mother had an alliance with. It wasn’t the Graham de Vanily family Mother worked with, but the Agrestes. It was my duty to secure that alliance for the security and betterment of our futures. That was until you and Felix came along. You and all your friends kept Adrien from me while Felix distracted me.”
“Sounds like a you problem then,” Alix retorted.
“Regardless, I was desperate. I felt everything slipping and at my peak vulnerability, Felix swept me away with his theatrics and sweet nothings. I allowed myself to be weak and it nearly cost my mother dearly. So much that she was willing to make a deal with the devil herself just to ensure my future wasn’t jeopardized. So, Mayura took away my love for Felix and created a perfect being of no emotion to be my betrothed. Until it vanished and we thought we upset her, only to discover she had gone mad.”
“Right. So, what obligation is stopping you from being with him now?”
“Because Mother doesn’t want me being with him. Hero, nobility, or nothing, Felix nearly cost her greatly. Nearly cost me greatly. With Serow, Mother has been able to find a new security. As have I, so long as I’m a hero. Adrien may have given me the jewel, but you are as much our leader as he is. I surmised that it would be beneficial that I make peace with you to maintain my hero status. To maintain my security for the future. And perhaps being close to you will keep Felix away.”
“Lovely. So, you plan on using me just to ensure you don’t lose your little jewel. Is that it?”
Fear broke through Kagami’s stoic expression before she collected herself. “No. No, that’s not it. I… I have to trust you. I have to rely on you. You are my leader along with Adrien. But, more than that, I want companionship.”
“Pardon?”
Kagami sighed. “Ever since moving here, everything has been a shock for me. The way that you carry yourselves, treat others, language, everything. I’ve tried to push away negative influences and corruption, but there are moments I find myself slipping. Always when I see our peers hanging out, chatting about nothings, and wasting away the days. It seems so frivolous, but oddly intoxicating. Even now, seeing everyone having fun down there, I feel that longing for companionship more than ever. It is in that feeling that I also feel… alone.”
Alix hung her head as she closed her eyes. She took a deep breath and pulled the towel off her head. She opened her eyes as she looked up at the glass ceiling.
“I know all too well that feeling, Kagami. And it sucks. You’re so used to being alone that when you see others happy and enjoying each other’s company, you can’t just feel like you want to be part of it. However, you also know that no one would like who you are, so you don’t bother. You just… bottle and isolate until there’s nothing left of you,” Alix said.
“Did you overcome it by making friends?” Kagami asked.
Alix laughed. “More like the friends found me. It was them that dragged me out of that self-isolation. Well, them and me wanting to at least pretend I listen to my old man’s advice. However, your situation is different. So, what would mommy dearest want of you?”
“Win the love of the people, win the favor of you all, and stay away from Felix,” Kagami answered.
“Ok. Now what do you want?”
Kagami paused. “What I want?”
“Yeah. Your mom’s orders are very basic and straightforward, so what do you want to do?”
“I… that doesn’t matter. My own desires don’t factor into the equation, as they shouldn’t.”
“And there you are a hypocrite to your own family’s mantra.”
“Excuse me? Who are you to-?”
“You follow orders because you want to, not because you’re told. Immediately, your wants matter if you want to follow orders. So, what do you want?”
Kagami’s jaw dropped before she pursed her lips and knotted her brows in thought. “I… I don’t want to be here right now. I want to be somewhere quiet.”
“Then let’s go.”
“Now?”
“Yeah. Everyone is having their fun, I don’t want to go back down there, and you don’t want to be here. So, let’s bail.”
“Where would we go?”
“We do have a whole realm to ourselves that we can escape to for heroes only.”
“What would the others think?”
“Who cares right now. I took half a ton of moron to the head and don’t want to head back down there. So, regardless if you join me or not, I’m leaving.”
Kagami considered, then nodded. “Very well. Let’s go, but first we change. I do not wish to remain in this.”
“That makes two of us. Alright, meet me there.”
Alix slipped into the changing room and changed out of the swimsuit back to her street clothes. She tossed it into a plastic bag and packed up everything. She unlocked the door and then touched the gem on her bracelet. She was teleported to the heroes’ realm. She headed into the keep up to her and Adrien’s office. She tossed her bag in there before she headed back to the plaza where Kagami stood staring up at the statues of the fallen heroes.
“These are new,” Kagami remarked.
“Yeah. Tikki made them to honor those we lost.”
Kagami hummed. “And how are you adjusting to their absences?”
“It’s been difficult. They were all good friends, though Gallic Chick, Chat Noir, and Pom Pom took it the hardest. They did lose loved ones after all.”
“Who… who did Adrien lose?”
“Porcelet, his late girlfriend.”
Kagami fell silent. “Do you think if I was a hero back then, Adrien would have wanted me instead?”
“Nah. Porcelet was sweet to a fault, always ready to help anyone in need, and an all-around loveable girl. It’s a terrible that she’s gone. Adrien would still be mourning her if his kwami didn’t destroy that love like how Mayura took your love for Felix away.”
“That is… unfortunate to hear.”
“Really? Because you don’t sound too upset. If I didn’t know any better, I’d figure you were almost happy she’s gone.”
“Please. Adrien and I were nothing like that, but he was still my first friend. At least, he considered me friend. Since he reminded me, I’ve thought more on it, and I’ve been a poor friend. I just hope that I can do right by him and be worthy of calling him friend.”
“Right. And it just happens to be a coincidence that he’s single again.”
“You’re imagining things. The alliance between the Agrestes and Tsurugis was terminated when Gabriel backed out of the arranged marriage agreement. Mother would not want me fraternizing with either boy, and I won’t.”
“So, are you looking then? Thinking it will get Felix off your back?” Alix teased.
“It is… not an awful idea. I’m sure Mother would agree to it if it meant getting rid of Felix.”
“Good, cause I know a little puppy that is interested.”
Kagami considered, then shook her head. “It must be a boy. Mother would not accept a woman. How would I carry on the Tsurugi line then?”
“Does it matter right now? You’re, what, fifteen like the rest of us? Maybe sixteen like some of us are going to be soon. Point is, how often do you meet the love of your life in high school?”
“Love is not a factor. It should never be a factor.”
“And you say that, but you fell for Felix.”
“It’s… complicated.”
“Is it really, or are you just making it more complicated than it needs to be?”
“It is complicated. While I did desire to be around him and enjoyed his theatrics, it was just… different.”
Alix’s eyes widened slightly. “Would you say, I don’t know, you cared deeply for him, wanted his companionship, but weren’t romantically in love with him.”
“I… there’s difference?”
“Yes. People can feel romantic and sexual attraction. They are two very different things. However, just because you don’t feel romantic love for someone, you can still love them.”
“That sounds… almost right? Things are a little fuzzy since Mayura took those emotions. There are lingering, vague remains, but I remember he was different. I was enamored more by his words and having someone want me. It was like a dream. A dream that soon became a nightmare as I grew frantic and wanted more of that. To feel wanted, needed, accepted by the strange world I found myself in. So much that it threatened my duty and loyalty to the Tsurugi clan, and why Mother stepped in.”
“Hey, do you speak English.”
“Of course I do. Why do you ask?”
“The little sister that tails Chloe. She’s American, dragged here in the past year. She’s facing some similar problems and perhaps it would help her if she had someone to relate to.”
“Zoe, right?”
“Yes.”
Kagami hummed. “I’ll think about it.”
“Thank you. I’m sure she’d appreciate a friend like you.”
Kagami’s eyes widened slightly with a slight smile, before she returned to her stoic demeanor. “Think nothing of it until I do something.”
“Fair enough. Well, I’m heading back inside. Just came out here to make sure you made it just fine. This is your, what, first time using the bracelet since we got it to you?”
“Yes.”
“Figured as much. Well, I’ll be in the-.”
“Wait. I request a tour of the place.”
“Hmm, sure. Follow me.”
Alix escorted Kagami around the keep. She showed off the different wings from the north that contained the meeting room and other little offices, the south wing with the main entrance hall and kitchens, the west wing with all custom bedrooms and hospital, and the east wing with different training rooms. She ended the tour back in the main entrance hall.
“That’s about it. You can go anywhere. Training rooms will adapt to what you want. Same with the rooms, but once you pick one, that’s all you get, so choose carefully. There’s also the gardens that we enter from and the plaza, so, yeah. Feel free to do whatever you want,” Alix said.
“What are you going to do?” Kagami asked.
“I’m heading down to the hospital. Sabrina had created these fairy creatures to tend to any illness or wound we have. Gonna have all this looked at where the oaf landed on me.”
“And then what?”
“I don’t know. We’ll see. Might just head up to my room and take a power nap.”
“Would you maybe pose for me while I draw?”
“You’re an artist?”
“Yes, but not like some others. I cannot create from my imagination, but I excel at drawing what I see. I love to draw people and locations. I don’t get to draw much at home, but I do get moments when at school. And I would like to draw you, as well as this place. If that would be allowed.”
“Sure.”
Kagami’s eyes lit up before they dulled to her usual stoic. “Thank you.”
“Ah, don’t mention it. It’s what friends do for each other, right?”
“We’re friends?”
“We can be, and this is where it starts. You wanted to be friends with me, right? Well, let’s see how this goes, yeah?”
“Yes. Come, let’s us not waste any time. We have a day of nothings to get to.”
