#i reblogged that previous post without the addition that had someones blatantly racist ableist tags#because it seemed unnecessarily cruel to subject people to the sentiment expressed#but i just wanna say if you think a mentally ill person behaving violently (which didnt happen here but the commentor still felt the need#to bring up) justifies the use of further violence against them you are not the ally to mentally ill people you think you are#like there is a whole conversation thats been happening for years about how cops and wannabe cops use of force only further escalates#situations and yet you are out there advocating for it just because mentally ill people sometimes act unsafely#like straight up saying you think its okay for mentally ill people to be killed as long as you deem their behaviour as threatening enough#as if people dont tie themselves in knots trying to paint the actions of mentally ill people as more dangerous than they are???#just#the complete lack of compassion the dehumanisation#expressing more understanding to the hypothetical intervener who acted with violence intentionally and fully aware#than to their hypothetical victim#like how is that not just straight up admitting you think someone not sane is inherently deserving of a violent response????#skip de-escalation skip addressing them as a person in pain/crisis just go straight to physically assulting them#god i just#i dont know how you can live with yourself deciding use of physical force is an appropriate response to someone having a mh episode#regardless of how unsafe you percieve them to be#i dont think that should be controversial to say tbh like in no scenario is that not going to result in increased risk of physical injury#to an involved party or further mental trauma inflicted on someone already suffering#and i do think that makes you an unsafe person for any mentally ill person to be around because what it tells me is my safety is#on the condition my crisis-point never moves to a level at which i cease to be a person in your eyes

HOW I WOULD REWRITE THE TEEN WOLF MOVIE
First of all its a slice of life comedy
No villain just normal problems, but maybe background Monroe issues
Each character has a running gag or a funny arc
Scott:
Runs his own veterinary business but accidentally placed his building in a place with primary cat people. He can not treat cats because they go crazy around him (he tells the humans he's allergic to cats). So the whole movie is him talking to real estate agents about buying a new building and selling his current one. The process is painfully slow. (but the new place is in beacon hills were this all takes place)
Kira:
Is still not in the movie but a bit after 6b she came back from the skinwalkers and she and scott get married. During the movie she's actually having a girls weekend with the skinwalkers because they became good friends
Lydia:
She and Stiles have twins (like 10 years old or something) and a newborn baby. Stiles convinces Lydia to take a break cause she's so stressed and to go visit their friends (so thats why shes in bh) during the movie she'll be having a conversation interrupts by taking a phone call. Its the twins' school. She is the leader of the PTA. This happens multiple times throughout the movie. (minor detail of her being super successful, getting that feilds medal, and being like the second Stephen Hawkins basically)
Stiles:
Is at home taking care of the newborn, we cant hear his voice but Lydia talks to him on the phone.
Jackson:
Is just constantly hanging out with lydia the entire movie, her sidekick, her goon
Malia:
Life way more put together than in the real movie. She works as like a camp ranger nature person or whatever, has weekly dinner with Mr. Tate, and is overall living her best life. Shes currently single but like every guy her age in beacon hills is trying to get with her. Shes also internet famous. She has simps. She lives in beacon hills but has traveled to a few different countries, including france
Parish:
Is no longer a cop because he found his true calling in modeling
Sheriff:
Retired and tired. Lydia is staying with him during her visit. He's just really happy about being a grandfather
Derek:
Same basically, a cool dad, so similar to tyler heclens (idk sp) portrayal of clark kent that a joke about that is made
The scene where he talks to coach is there so that coach can not recognize him and then derek is like "oh sorry, how about now?" (he walked into the corner of the room, clenched his fists at his side, and started glaring like he was about to kill someone) and coach is like omg yeah i remember you, hows it been?
Also he is married to braeden and she is elis step mom
ALSO he has 11 kids including eli, he is tom baker cheaper by the dozen.
Eli:
Stiles' biggest fan, just like that one post✊ (i saw a post about that being why hes like stiles and it annoying derek and its one of the funniest things ever, i dont remeber the poster sorry) calls all of the original pack uncle or aunt. He and Malia besties. His arc is he has a boyfriend or girlfriend and is trying desperately for no one to find out because they all babysitted him and are notorious for telling embarassing baby stories to his friends and previous partners. He's the oldest sibling.
Chris:
Literally just chilling, planning a tropical vacation, is married to Melissa
Melissa:
Still works at hospital, overly mushy with chris, especially in front of peter
Peter:
Same as usual but 10x more dramatic. Lives on Melissa's coach. Theres a few random times in the movie hes being interviewed like hes in the office. He's the only one that this happens with.
Issac:
Only speaks in french, but there are subtitles for the audience. Only speaks English to Chris even though Chris knows french. Malia and him are friends from when she visited france.
Liam:
Professional lacrosse player, is in the lacrosse nfl (i have no idea if thats a thing) hangs out with mason and on his off time he leads an anger management class
Mason:
Politician, the only thing stopping him from being president is his age. Corey uses his powers to steal incriminating evidence against masons evil political opponents. They are married.
Theo:
He's a trailer life vlogger, very successful online. Regularly hits up scott and liam for no particular reason (its because hes lonely) its never mentioned but there's a brief shot of his trailer and on one of the walls there's a picture of the pack with a picture of theo tapped to it. And/or just a picture of stiles* Bonus points for hearts.
He goes to liams class as a demonstration on how not to beat someone up when you're angry (liam and theo usually end up fighting anyway)
Allison:
Either not in it or inexplicably alive. No mention as of how or why or when she came back. At one point there is a very clear reference to her death so the audience knows it wasn't reconned or something
OR ( my sister's idea) Chris Ouija boards her every friday night and they chat
Deaton:
Just doing completely unrelated shady shit, which all ends up being something super anti-climatic
This is my vision
*to clarify, i dont ship them, its just that how obsessed theo was with void stiles lives rent free in my head

✿YOᑌᖇᗴ KIᗪᔕ ᖴᖇIᗴᑎᗪ ᑕᗩᒪᒪᔕ YOᑌ ᗩ ᗰIᒪᖴ 😕
KᗩᖇᗩᔕᑌᑎO:
(Daichi, Tanaka,)
ᗪᗩIᑕᕼI:
❥It was around 3:25 o'clock—you had just started preparing dinner for your 15 year old son and your FIREFIGHTER husband (cause you sure as hell wasn't cookin' for no cop) when you heard the door open. Placing the roast in the oven you bent down—mits on your pretty hands and ass damn near presented to the world in the pretty sundress you wore.
"Hey Ma!"
"Hi honey!" You called out as you stood up discarding your oven mits onto to counter you turned around tilting your head. "Whose this?"
"This is Takashi, we have a project to work on so I figured it was ok if I brought him over for a bit, is that ok?"
❥ While your conversating with your son you failed to notice the way Takashi's virgin eyes took in your pretty (slim/lean/plump) body—eyes racking over your subtle bust that noticeably sat upright and nice around the ruffles of your dress—the same dress that hugged your curves just right, a nice and frilly apron tied neatly around your waist. "Well it's nice to meat you Takashi" you giggled sticking your hand out for him to shake—blinking the boy rubbed his neck.
"A-Ah, it's nice to meet you too Mrs. Sawamura..." he uttered, seemingly very focused on they way your breast bounced with each shake—(Your son's name) nudged him noticing the way his eyes lingered. "Anyway, we'll be on our way Ma—let go of my mom's hand ya freak" he grimaced causing Takashi to chuckle sheepishly as you waved them both away.
❥ "Dude," (Y/S/N) whispered as they sat in the dining room "What?"
"Don't what "what" me—why the hell were you starin' at my ma like that?" Looking around Takashi made sure you weren't paying attention as you stirred the mashed potatoes. "Dude your mom's a total milf." Your son pulled one of the most disgusted stank faces he could muster as he stared at his friend in utter disgust. "Mf wha...?"
"No dude, I'm serious—like look at her, she has the whole milf persona down pact. She's sweet, kind and has a baggin' bod man."
"You've literally just met her..."
❥ Any other time you were a force to be reckoned with, a hazard to society—this just happened to be one of the days you felt generous enough to grace the house with your charitable contributions. (Y/S/N) recognized the dangerous tint your eyes held when he told you he invited someone without your permission and expected you to be cool with it—what you were merely doing was putting on an act as the "Sweet milfy mother" and it was working out wonderfully.
Too wonderfully
"Naw man, your mom's a milf."
"Dude..."
"Like—she gave me this look dude—you know "that" look" the poor boy, he had no idea what was approaching upon him.
"Bruh..." (Y/S/N) tried again, but to no avail as Takashi continued on.
"No no no, cause get it—if given the chance bruh, I'd fuc—oh my gosh, what happened to the light?" with a choked gasp the boy could only stare in pure shock at the sight of your towering husband—expression stoic, but the way his eyes flared into the child made him piss himself he was so scared. (Imagine a 5'9–hell maybe even taller—beefy man staring you down with the most meanest ass look)
"I'm sorry, You'd what to my wife?"
(Y/S/N) lifted a few papers and patted them against the table to straighten them as he watched his friend get chewed out by his father. "A-Ah...M-Mr. Sawamura, I didn't...that didn't come out right—I meant uh, yeah y-you know...."
"No, I don't know—why don't you explain to me what exactly you'd do to my wife given the chance—cause I'd love to hear it." Daichi hadn't felt so pissed in his life (aside from when he was made a meme on several social media platforms—put thats a different story for a different time) and honestly it was disgusting having some brat in his home—his sanctuary, a place where he comes to feel relaxed and loved to sit here and try to explain to his own son how he'd fuck you if given the chance—where the hell was the damn belt when you needed it?
❥ "Daichi—is that you babe?" You're sweet voice rang from the kitchen as you glossed your cornbread with your honey and butter mixture—turning his attention back on the boy Daichi glowered at him.
"If I ever hear something like that come out of your mouth in my presence I'll make sure you never step foot in this house again."
And with that he smiled, turned and caught you as you leaped into his arms placing a nice kiss on your cheek. "Hey love, dinner smells great." He grinned, guiding you both back into the kitchen, a giggle escaping your pretty lips as you go on to ask about his day.
❥"Yeah, yo ass most definitely ain't invited to the cookout." Your son snorted taking in his friends pissed scared expression.
—————
TᗩᑎᗩKᗩ:
❥It was actually your daughters girl best friend who called you a milf and Tanaka winded up agreeing with her 💀
Here's how it happened, you and Tanaka had planned a trip to a nearby water park since the last few days had been hot as a bitch—so you allowed your daughter to invite her friend and of course she agreed—as long as your daughter and her had been freeness she had never gotten the chance to officially meet you, she'd always been around your husband since your daughter was a daddy's girl.
"Ryū, do you have everything packed?" You asked as you poked your head out from the side door of the house—your lean husband packing what looked like unnecessary junk in the back seat of the car. "Yeah, Yep baby—" he nearly slipped trying to shove four lounge chairs, the picnic basket and several other things in the car. "I've got everything packed—just waitin' on (Daughter name) and Naomi to come."
Nodding you poked your head back into the door to change—a nice bikini and thin shawl to go over it—it's better if I show it to you—
❥ Now before I see any comments sayin' "My stomach said no" "Tits, ass and thighs have left the building" I want y'all to know that Tanaka does everything in his power to make sure you feel happy and loved, it's what made your confidence boost since high school and the self love you had for yourself only skyrocketed the longer you stayed with him and you truly understood the true value of yourself. You felt happy and comfortable in your own skin, that didn't mean you didn't have days where you felt off about being in your body, but those thoughts would simmer down when your adoring husband cane into view.
Stripping from your pajamas and bunny slippers you placed the bikini on and folded the shawl in front of you as you made your way downstairs to sit in the living room.
Ten minutes had passed and (Y/D/N) and Naomi had finally returned—greeting your husband Your daughter asked where you had wandered off to
❥ "Your mother? She's in the living room last I seen her, (Y/N)!! Come on love we're ready!"
"Just a second!" You hollered back slipping on a pair of slides and exiting out of the house—time seem to stand still as not only your husband, but Naomi too drunk in your form—the swimsuit definitely serving you justice. "You all ready?" You asked, "Y-Yeah hon...w'we're ready." Smiling cheekily you grinned.
"Yo, (Y/D/N)"
"What? What's up??"
"Your mom is literally hot as hell."
"..."
"Deadass, she looks like one of those hot ass milfs..." she muttered watching as you lightly scolded Tanaka for putting the sandwich iron into the truck. Turning around you bent over to grab the toaster—tits nearly spilling from your top as you made your way back into the house. "Yeah, a milf."
"You said it." Tanaka whistled placing his folded arm on top of Naomi's head. "M-Mr. T-Tanaka, oh my gosh I am so sorry...I shouldn't have—" Your childish husband barked out a deep laughter at the scared expression on your daughters friends face. "Calm down kiddo, I'm not mad—if anything I'm glad someone recognized it." He uttered whipping his head to stare at his daughter.
"I am not referring to mama as a milf."
❥ Tanaka smacked his lip, a low whistle coming from his mouth as both he and Naomi stared at the way your ass flexed through the thin material of the shawl
Up and down and up and down
And up and down and up and down
❥ "Damn," they muttered in union
"You two are literally disgusting."

Friends (Kelce X Reader)
Tumblr media
12 and 52 for Kelce? A fellow Kelce hoe!!!We love to see it 😊
You and Kelce had always been pretty close. He had met you at the bookstore. You worked as a cashier. You didnt need to work,of course, you came from a rich family but it made you feel happy and gave you something to do on otherwise boring days.He had come in with Topper the August before freshman year, hunting for the summer reading books that they most definitely didnt want to read.Kelce had been practically drooling over you since the pair walked in,glancing to your nametag and smiling to himself.
Topper kept smacking his arm, urging him to talk to you. That day he had got your phone number, texting you to ask you about yourself.Neither of you knew what that day at the bookstore would lead up to.Mindless flirting lead to deep conversations, complains about school and home life. He’d ask to hang out, going to the gas station to buy shitty snacks and sit on the beach, drinking iced coffee and mocking the seagulls.
He had intended to make you his girl but ended up finding something else within you,a best friend. You had always wanted a best friend like him,one that would let you hug him as much as you wanted, steal his t shirts and complain about period pains. He’d facetime you every night while he played video games to ask you about your day and would stay on the phone with you until you fell asleep if you were anxious.
You two sat in your backyard, rolling a half inflated beach ball back and forth. “I dont even know,Kel.It’s like they dont care about me and I dont even know what to do anymore. It not like they’re ever around, they just leave me here.”You complained. He nodded, not bothering to roll the ball back to you.Instead he leaned forward, knocking you backwards and wrapping his arms around your waist, his head on your stomach.
“I can sleepover whenever you want, you know.”He sighed. You nodded, your hand falling onto his chest, letting him take it. “You wanna get slushies?”He asked. You grinned, sitting up and pushing the boy off you. “always.”You answered, running inside to get your keys before the two of you got in the car. “Its so hot in here.”He grumbled, turning on the air conditioning. “Uh,yeah, cause youre in here.”You grinned, backing out of the driveway. “Hey,theres a boneyard happening later tonight. You wanna go?”He asked.
You shook your head, turning around a corner and pulling into the Cumberland Farms parking lot. “You know I dont like parties.”You sighed, unbuckling your seatbelt and getting out of the car. “You never go to parties,it could be fun.”He frowned. You shrugged, grabbing a plastic cup and filling it with cotton candy slushie.  “How do you drink that? Its like way to sweet.”He spoke in disgust as he filled his cup with cola slushied.
You rolled your eyes, pressing a lid on and grabbing yourself a straw. “You dont need to degrade it because its not your type,Kelce. This is why slushies have self confidence issues.”You huffed, taking a sip of the cold blue drink. He chuckled, pulling the hood of your jacket, kissing the top of your head. You two sat in the Cumberland Farms parking lot for a while, stabbing the ice chunks with the end of your straw as he tried to convince you to attend the party.
“You and Topper and Rafe will start trouble,I dont wanna be there when the cops show up.”You sighed quietly, sipping your slushie. He leaned his elbow on the armrest, letting his head rest on his palm. “If I promise to be good for the night will you go?”He asked. You huffed, turning down your radio and turning to look at him. “When have you ever behaved?Ever?”You asked. He pouted. “I’ll behave for you.”He answered. You ignored him, backing out of the parking lot and beginning your drive home.
“Why wont you go to just one party?”He asked, seeming annoyed. “Because im not getting involved in all that shit. You act like Rafe’s not a fucking drug addict,im not gonna get peer pressured into snorting coke.”You shot him a glare. He grumbled something, looking out the window. “Fine, you dont have to go.”He finally answered.
“Where’s (Y/N)?”Topper asked.Kelce sighed, closing the car door. “She’s not coming, too stressed about drugs and shit.”He answered.Rafe rolled his eyes, driving quickly to The Cut. “Of course she is.I dont get why you cant just drop her already.”Rafe sighed, the car shaking from the bumps and potholes. “He cant drop her because he’s in love with her,hes just too ignorant to admit it.”Topper chuckled, scrolling through his phone.Rafe raised his eyebrows, looking over to Kelce in the backseat. “Is that true?”He asked.Kelce simply shrugged, not even trying to fight the statement.
It wasnt until one in the morning that Kelce realized how much he regretted coming to this party. He had stayed isolated, thinking about how much more fun he would be having if he had slept over your house to bake shitty cake from boxed mix and watch The Office.Topper had completely disappeared somewhere in the crowd and he hadnt even bothered keeping an eye on Rafe.He took his phone from his pocket, texting you to ask what you were doing and how you were.
He almost wanted to cry, realizing just how difficult it was to be somewhere without you.He walked further down the beach to a spot where he could call you without the music interfering. “What’s up?”You asked, sounding tired. He huffed, looking out to the ocean. “Can you pick me up?”He asked.
It only took you ten minutes to get there, parked outside an abandoned house.Kelce had followed the location that you sent him, getting into your air conditioned car. “What happened?”You asked, driving down the rough pavement. He shrugged, leaning back in his seat. “I realized that I wasn't in a party mood.”He answered. You didn't ask any further questions. He must've dozed off because when he woke up again you had opened the car door for him, unbuckling his seatbelt and telling him that you were back at the house.
He followed you tiredly, throwing himself onto your couch. “Did you eat?”You asked. Now that he could see you properly, the bright light of your kitchen hitting you he could see that you were wearing a zip up hoodie that was a bit to big for you.It was over a tube top and sweatpants, meaning that you had got up straight from your nap to go get him. “Is that mine?”He asked, pointing to the hoodie.
“Its mine now, bitch.”You answered, going to grab a box of oreos. You sat down next to him, handing him the box. “So quick question.”He peeled back the plastic, twisting off one of the chocolate cookies. “shoot.”You replied, turning on your tv. “So like...hypothetically what would your reaction be if I told you that I see you as more than a friend?”He asked. You stayed quiet for a second, eyes glued to the television. “What?”You asked. He sighed, his heart beating and his knees feeling weak even though he was sitting.
“Friends….Friends don't look at each other the way we do.”He answered, watching your facial expressions. You bit down on your tongue, placing the remote on your leg. “Are you serious right now?”You asked. He nodded, still staring at you.You bit down on your lip, looking down at the couch cushion before looking back up at him. “Are you fucking with me?”You asked. He shook his head.
“You think I asked for your number at the bookstore because I wanted to be friends? No.I asked because I liked the way your face lit up when you were watching vine compilations on your phone and I wanted to watch them with you.I asked for you number because I thought-because I knew that you were different.”He looked right into your eyes, waiting for your reaction. “So this whole time….”You trailed off, watching him nod.
“Things wouldve been so much easier if you said this last year, dude.”You giggled, shaking your head as you split an oreo in half. His eyebrows raised, trying to figure out what you meant. “What?”He asked. You grinned, eating half of the oreo. “Im just saying that you’re clueless as fuck.Ooh we should watch Clueless, thats such an iconic movie. But yeah,no i’ve liked you for a while now you just suck at taking hints.”You smiled at his confused expression, leaning into his chest.

entry 17: [nsfw mention]
enacting chaos w/ ker is pretty fun, imo.
the first person sex scenes in this game are pretty awkward, but i don’t blame the game for that. its a consequence of several different factors, not all of which are the dev’s faults.
anyway: more sidequests been done.
brendan the scsm has bit the dust. rest in peace you funky lil conversational non-AI robot.
i sent a bunch more cyberpsychos to treatment, and finished that sidequest where you had to send in 17 of them. i wonder if anything more will come of that?
a dude at a bar has a wife of ten years who he suspects is cheating because 1) their son doesnt look like them, and 2) she stays late after work and isn’t at work during those times. so I look into it and it turns out she had a ton of plastic surgery before their relationship and their son doesnt look like her because her dna hasn’t changed from what it was before. during this mission, johnny is narrating as if reading from a seedy detective novel and V hates it, its great.
here is the whole thing because its all gold:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
also a sidequest where you have to steal kerry’s old guitar from a collector/fan. while in the apartment, johnny recounts various different gigs he performed as you scan the various posters up on each wall.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
there’s also... this. on a table in the living room:
Tumblr media
another sidequest involved stepping in on some cops beating a random corpo senseless because they have badges and can do whatever they want. interesting how the game has both this sorta thing and copaganda. you win some you lose some i guess.
i got a call from one of the k-pop stars kerry worked with about a stalker that’s been following her, and had the opportunity to deal with it. took a couple tries to take the stalker down non-lethally but i think thats the best ending. or the ending that’ll lead to more quests from her. we’ll see.
apparently i’ve completed kerry’s storyline. which makes me a bit sad, because no more quests from him. he *did* text me about coming over to hang out, and i went expecting something to happen, but nothing really did. you can have a convo with him but there was nothing within implying we were even in a relationship, which might’ve been a bug? pls i just want to flirt with my boyfriend.

oooookayyy scrapped together thoughts of a Hades Modern Au here we go
world shit:
takes place in a massive city with some name or whatever. idfk. it big tho
‘the underworld’ refers more to like. the criminal activities and things hades has a hand in. which is everything, from all businesses to the politics to the cops and everything. he stinks
most of the olympians don’t live in the city. some are influential people in bigger name areas. others are just like. kicking it somewhere
most chthonic gods work for hades and live in/near to his own massive office/home, which is one of the biggest skyscrapers in the town
zagreus is always trying to leave town but either is thwarted before he goes too far down the highway or hades forces him to come back
Zagreus: 25, 55ft when wearing platformers. he’s somehow the cumulation of jock/rich boy/punk energies and really its a mystery how he pulls that off like. says eat the rich one second but also assumes an apple costs 10 bucks. he’s got the spirit tho
Son of hades obviously. grew up in Hades’ ‘house’ (massive FUCKING skyscraper) completely raised by nyx. had vague memories of persephone when he was like 5 but didn’t think much of it until more recently. always knew nyx wasnt his birth mother, but only really knew persephone’s name and some information on her when snooping and finding things like marriage certificates that Hades hid away.
Hades keeps control of him by providing for him, in a way. basically has control of all his money, which hades provides. He’s made it so zagreus can’t get his own job anywhere. either he’s rejected right at the door or fired. stopped once he realized a small business suddenly shut down after he got a job there. also can’t drive, have his own seperate bank account, all horrible shit.
The only thing he does have is that he has an appartment with hypnos thats grungy and small and really gross but its the only thing he feels to really ‘own’.
Zag blows money constantly since it’s hades’ credit card. arrested a lot for vandalism, arson, public intoxication, trespassing, fighting, etc. he never stays more than a few days in jail, but his record has never been clean so when he attempts to hop on a bus or hitch a ride out of town, cops stop him and take him away. on the bright side one cop stuck to night patrol makes him some really good coffee.
Often gets into bar fights and skirmishes. more because he likes to fight than anything else. he once tried to make money off of underground fighting matches, but hades still caught onto that. he met Skelly through this.
Hades: old as all fuck. nasty man. like 6″ft or whatever. He owns hotels, apartments, banks, and some factories for production of goods. high public opinion because he’s ‘charitable’ and dumps a lot of money to public infrastructures, police force, and particularly surveillance companies. This is more of a bribe than anything; first to know of the cops’ movements and has surveillance through practically the whole city.
he sucks. persephone left him but they’re still considered legally married. No divorce has been issued, and hades has kept up the appearances that persephone still lives with him under the guise of a chronic health condition she has (multiple sclerosis) so she isn’t publicly seen. really she left his ass and owns a quiet unnoticed flower shop in a small town over.
Thanatos: 27, 5″11ft. Works within hades’ company, pretty high up too. manages finances, stocks, inventory, etc etc. basically has a handle on all money going in and out. tries to keep out of the less legal side of things but honestly he doesnt really have a choice in the matter.
Extremely qualified for the position and honestly could probably do much better. went to some big name college far away for a long time. Studied business, accounting, economics for nearly 8 years. wanted to go into psychology, particularly developmental psychology, but forced himself to go into business.
He’s loyal to hades in a strange way. feels ‘indebted’ to him; for his job, providing his mother with a job, basically the reason they’re so well off. seems to think that he is the company’s head accountant less because of his own skill and because it was expected of him. undervalues himself.
He has only been back in town a year or so since leaving for college. part of his job is that he is forbidden from contacting or interacting with zagreus at all, with threats of losing his position from hades. Still, he tends to pull zag out of messes with cops or bar fights. zag doesn’t know how he keeps finding him or randomly appearing.
unlike most other workers he doesn’t actually live in the ‘house’ and lives in a suite at another hades owned building. this makes it easier for zag to sneak into his suite and visit him at all kinds of weird hours.
him and zag have a more ‘new’ romance goin on. very tentative and unexplored and new. especially considering the circumstances they find themselves in. him and meg are great friends, in fact they are probably each other’s only friends.
Megeara: 25, 6″3ft without her heels. Is the head of security in hades’ main office and has control over security services in other buildings too, although mainly stays in the house. also has the personally appointed position of keeping zag from leaving the house when he gets dragged back there. You can see how that goes.
Like than, feels indebted/sworn to her job, to a degree though. Will very much stop zagreus, only so that she can let him slide sometimes without suspicion or her job being threatened. Or if she just wants a good fight it depends on her mood.
was always interested in mixed martial arts. when they were teens she threatened zag to a fight. she ended up with a chipped tooth. later in life about when she started heavily piercing her ears she also got gold fang implants since the chipped tooth happened to be Right there. zag is weak to this.
Never has left town or gone to college. she is the closest of the furies to nyx. both her sisters are in some field of the law enforcement, therefore acting as hades’ more personal ties into the police. She doesn’t get along with them, in fact feeling they’re way too involved in shady shit. but she converses and does what she’s asked of from hades.
owns a motorcycle! doesn’t actually know how to drive a car, just her bike. takes care of it like it’s her baby. doesn’t let anyone else touch it, fix it up or handle it whatsoever. Hypos tried to hop on once and he ran every time he saw her for at least 3 months after that.
her and zag don’t exactly have a ‘name’ to their relationship. it’s somewhat on and off, between dating and friendship sometimes. Than is someone very close to her; the only person she can be seen outside of a work setting talking to. dusa is working up to that, though, as she’s been getting closer with her.

aaaand we are back back again with malec livewatch! you can read the first and second parts before if you wanna, or filter out “malec livewatch” if ur tired of this absolute bullcrap
yes i know it’s been years. not my fault okay i was studying
today: post-wedding 1×12! and finally freedom from the terrors of s1
forever a slut for that scene where Magnus just does that hand movement and a bunch of shit starts showing up in the conveniently empty table ugh we stan. imagine if the special effects had been this good all the time they really used up 10 out of their 15 dollars and all the two favors from cousin Mike for this one. 1×12 was so inspired tbh only valid episode
Alec's clothes look so much better without the stupid ugly blazer? could do without the high waisted pants (why) but he looks so much better and also more comfortable. again i hope the costume department staff got a big, fat paycheck because the difference we see in him during the wedding vs post-wedding alone is just insane. he looks so much better and more comfortable and more himself, the blazer made him look stiff and again DOESNT MATCH THE REST. also nice touch that the blazer is the only part of his clothing with gold, the sh wedding color. he gets that off and everything looks so much better
Magnus looks even better post wedding too. like the clothing is already *chef's kiss* but he looks even prettier afterwards somehow. the hair is a little softer and he's less stiff as a whole (for obvious reasons), and aaaa hes so beautifulllll he's so prettyyyy look at his perfect soft little hair falling softly over his head and the PINK STREAKS possibly the best Magnus look i said what i said. especially with him all soft and smiley like that i big love him
sexiest thing about Magnus is how Jace does anything and hes like NO BITCH
the way he says "warlock tracking is stronger" with that smile......... hes so prety
that's a deep inhale he makes before using the tracking spell lmao u ok buddy?
oof i can only imagine how he felt when he was doing the tracking and he was suddenly hit with an image of Camille screaming and hitting in his direction,,,....,,,,,,, Fuck
love how Raphael just locked her in the basement thats so sexy of him we stan
"i punched her there's no way she'll help me" ugh still salty that clary of all ppl got to punch her but not Raphael or Magnus fuck this tbh
STOP MAKING ME LOOK AT CLACE
they both look so giddy and happy to be talking after the whole wedding thing + camille drama like don’t look at me. alec can barely look at magnus because he’s so agitated but you have the smile on his face and magnus is also smiling disbelievingly and i just doaudjsuoiadsa i love they
seriously tho the way magnus smiles..... so private and disbelieving but also so obvious and he’s even looking down like he never expected stuff to go down this well..... bro i stan
i had forgotten about the specific cadence in which alec talks? lmao. there’s a certain tilt to his voice when he says “it’s so INTENSE” that i really love
also that’s a really funny line like honey who the fuck are you to complain about anything being intense. ur the most dive or die bitch in this entire building. and we stan
alec’s WIDE ASS SMILE when magnus says “you certainly know how to make a statement” I CRY. magnus looks so proud of him and still disbelieving that alec went this hard for him and alec is just still on cloud 9 that he really Did That and came out and magnus is just proud of him and wow he really gets to have this and duahdsudhsadajsas???? i adore everything about them
the way maryse shows up and magnus immediately recoils and alec immediately straightens up like magnus is lowkey expecting rejection and alec is just bracing himself for one of the hardest fights of his life
also their expressions are so funny like maryse is LIVID she’s absolutely losing her mcfucking mind with anger homegirl’s head is about to explode and robert is just looking like he pissed on the carpet or something
the way alec doesn’t back down at all is so admirable too like!!!! it’s one thing to make a big fuck you gesture, it’s another to still hold your ground against your abusers after that fact. but he really stands there and goes “this isn’t about you” “i’m the same person i’ve always been” and doesn’t give her an inch of room for clownery. like again once alexander gideon lightwood makes up his mind there’s no stopping him and there’s no going back and he’s just so fucking strong??? he really said “from now on i’m out and you’re going to absolutely deal with that and i will not compromise a single thing” and the lightwoods just had to deal with that lmaoooo
you can see it in maryse’s face too, like after the “i’m the same person i’ve always been” she just pauses, realizing that she lost this battle without even knowing, she was on top of it a second ago and now there’s nothing she can do anymore and she’s just shook. and all that’s left for her is to scoff at magnus and leave, because that’s it, she lost every hold she had on him
alec’s little mouthed “what?” at “and all for a downworlder” too. i think part of him was like “wow she’s backing down already?” because you know he expected this to be a lot harder i think lmao. but i also like to think that there’s a side of “mom what the fucking fuck have you seen him he’s gorgeous and kind and smart and amazing and literally the best person i could have fallen in love with but go off i guess”
robert going all “just give her time” like he doesn’t understand what’s happening here at all. he clearly plays the “good cop” in the lightwood’s abusive dynamic tbh, like people often brush him off as being just spineless but i honestly think that he’s just the other side of her manipulative coin. specially with izzy, like, when izzy said fuck it and completely let go of maryse’s hold on her? that’s where robert came in, being the accepting, “nice” parent who listened to her and cared, and making sure she’d keep her loyalties. because he didn’t really stand up for izzy either and in the end he kept her still glued to the lightwood family through that, and kept defending maryse and izzy listened to him because he was robert. and i think that’s what’s happening here too, him trying to frame this as “don’t worry, she’ll come around” because he knows right then that alec is absolutely going to turn their back on them if that’s what it takes for her to be happy so he immediately slides in and reframes this under an affection light where everything will be alright! even if honestly i don’t think that’s what alec is really thinking about at all, i think he was 100% ready for a showdown
and robert is clearly so disapproving and yikes at the whole thing too but he pretends he isn’t and like lmao
shoutout to their faces when robert asks “are you two in love?” like magnus just turns around like oh hell no we’re not gonna have this conversation and alec lights up for just a second with a small smile before he’s like wait wait no shit shit shit we’ve just met no of course there’s no love (and like... i don’t think there is per se, because i think love is something that takes longer to settle in, specially for alec, but i think the idea that he could talk openly about being in love with a man and even fall fully in love with magnus one day makes him super happy you know?) lmao dorks
tho tbh i think magnus shuts down that conversation immediately to avoid heartbreak. because i think that for this whole thing he was expecting alec to say something he’d hate hearing to get his parents’ approval, you know? like like i said it’s really unexpected and surprising/inspiring that alec didn’t back down an inch there, and i think he was expecting alec to kind of fall back slightly now, like, he played his cards and now he would negotiate with them, you know? find a place to make them comfortable. instead alec gives them a complete fuck you and he’s like... damn obviously super pleased but also waiting for the other shoe to drop
he just steps in like “pls no” and stops that conversation right there
the way alec takes a deep breath and magnus opens his mouth then closes again quickly not knowing what to say and then changes the subject.... he’s really so scared of this talk and i just aaa
alec literally never fucking stops going from magnus’ eyes and lips in quick succession like alec. alec please. stop being horny for just a second man. please alec i’m begging you
it’s so cute how magnus mentions a date and alec is immediately like “hell YEAH we should do that” no hesitation like he’s 100% ready to leave immediately right now (i see his pause between “wanna... i don’t know, get a drink?” and “....sometime?”, i see it, you can’t fool me alexander) and also the fact that his first suggestion is something that he hates but that he knows for a fact magnus likes is so cute, like he immediately goes for magnus’ interests here and we stan
i also think that he’s come to associate drinking = dates after 1x06 and the way magnus called him specifically for a drink before he showed up too, like... it’s cute how he immediately came to associate those things because of magnus and just jumps into that because that’s what he knows. he’s so eager and like good for him
magnus’ SMILE when he says that like bro he can see how stoked alec is to go on a date with him they are adorable he is so fucking HAPPY i doubt he expected such a great outcome from this and yet here they are
ALEC DOES THE WHOLE LOOKING AT HIS LIPS IN QUICK SUCCESSION THING ONE LAST TIME BEFORE THE SCENE ENDS SHUT UP OH MY GOD HE NEVER STOPS. MATT DADDARIO THANK YOU FOR MY RIGHTS

twilight saga character tag!
thank you sm @softtwihoe for tagging me <3 i feel like im still new to the renaissance fandom on tumblr even tho i never stopped being a twihard so shit like this warms my heart <3
now my spicy twilight takes………………...
1. Character you find most relatable to you as a person?
the love of my life, without a doubt, 100% leah clearwater. mfs tried to make her feel bad for feeling her feelings but she was valid in all of them. also its canon that shes a scorpio but yall aint hear it from me
rosalie bc we have similar trauma (lmao :/) and like to disagree with people. i also love big dumb men
edward. as a fellow whiny musical pissbaby who cant let shit go, i get it
2. Character that didn’t have a POV in the books or certain unfinished manuscripts, but you wish did?
ok maybe this is super underground but sue!!! mf!!! clearwater!!! she had allllllll the tea on the pack and tbh i really wanted to see how she and her family were before and after harry’s death. that event was a really big deal (outside of just bella and edward) and set shit OFF in new moon
billy bc he also had hella tea and i bet he was super fucking conflicted during the ENTIRE saga bc he couldnt say shit to charlie!!! that shit sounds rough!!!!!
quil bc he was the last to phase and i just wanna know what he was going thru. he would’ve had hellaaaaa jokes too but smeyer doesnt care abt nonwhite characters so :/
charlie, assuming he supports the black lives matter movement
i guess overall i just wanna know how EVERYONE was doing in new moon bc that story ran DEEP. i want a midnight sun for new moon but for every character
nobody asked but new moon is the best in the saga and new moon stans have the best pussy
3. Character that’s underrated and deserves more recognition?
the entire wolf pack but wbk
riley but tbh i think its bc i just loved xavier samuel in the eclipse movie
the denali coven!!!! their story was incredible imo and while irina was a snitch, i understand why she snitched. she didnt deserve to die. the denalis deserve so much better and while garrett is cool to have around, that doesnt fill the void that irina left bc the volturi decided to be a bunch of haters. i want them to heal so bad.
tanya gets a bad rep for having a crush on edward but she deserves better too
i’d like to read abt the vacations that the denalis with the cullens too
oh and all thats just BESIDES the succubus legend that tanya and kate and irina started in canon!!!!!!!! like??????????????????? they fucked and killed human men??????????? thats the story i wanna READ bitch!!!! thats my jennifer’s body (2009) fantasy!!!!! smeyer is a coward tho
btw carmen and esme are girlfriends :)
4. Character you thought was unnecessary for the story?
ok besides the obvious, and nobody drag me for it, but bree tanner. I get she was there to show us how fucked up the volturi are and to sorta predict bella as a newborn but……...we already knew the volturi kill mfs just for fun. if the cullens werent gonna adopt her we really didnt need many details on her. and regarding the newborn thing, bree’s role as a newborn didnt really mean shit bc bella ended up being ~the perfect newborn~ anyway!!!! smeyer tried to sell us the short second life of bree tanner as if there arent other worthy characters of having a spinoff novella about like leah or seth or rosalie or emmett or charlie or resume from bella’s ovary. that being said………..
resume, for multiple reasons including:
resume literally shouldnt exist. vampires shouldnt be able to have working sperm and even then, edward shouldve pulled out. he could barely even tongue kiss bella so wtf made him think he could cum in her????? whyyy didnt he use his big vampire brain to consider that?????
resume seemed totally unwanted and unthought of??? bella and edward were so mf absorbed in each other like regular teen couples (with 1000x the intensity but still) that it didnt seem likely that theyd want a baby after fucking like three times anyway. miss bella “fuck them kids” swan also gave no indication of wanting children. ever. EYE would have simply aborted and went on to live my best vampire life :)
resumes existence defeats the purpose of imprinting bc theres no way she’d be able to conceive with jacob. at all. but we know smeyer doesnt think shit through
smeyer writing in resume ruined jacobs character even more esp coming off the shitshow that was eclipse. periodt
5. Top 5 female characters?
leah <3
rosalie
bella
sue
angela
6. Top 5 male characters?
jacob (pre-eclipse but that’s implied)
emmett
seth
quil/paul (i love them equally)
edward’s dumb ass <3 sometimes
7. Character interaction that didn’t happen but you wish it did?
rosalie and edward but only under the condition that he finally stops being a misogynistic pissbaby towards her and accepts her for the sexy legend that she is. i feel like they’d get along well but smeyer is anti-hottie and anti-talent so i guess we’ll never know :/
leah and someone who loves her and respects her and validates her feelings :)
JACOB AND HIS SISTERS. OR EVEN JUST RACHEL. she literallyyyyyyyyyy came home after YEARS in breaking dawn but he was too busy simping over bella to acknowledge her??? huh???
bella and a licensed therapist
edward and a licensed therapist
8. Character that deserves more development?
the whole entire wolf pack but wbk
more specifically, embry. whooooom is his father???
emmett. like we get it hes funny and hot but like……….spare depth maam? any spare depth????
9. Character who is your total opposite?
jasper bc he fought for people who look like me to be ENSLAVED and the fandom lets it slide for whatever reason :|
10. Character you warmed up to after experiencing the Renaissance?
edward, in some ways. i relate to him when im feeling extra self-loathing but then i get over it lmao. he’s still stupid tho
i used to think alice was annoying af (and i still kinda do tbh) but as a fashion hoe, i get it
charlie, sorta, even tho he’s a cop. i wasnt there for the original conversation on here but do yall think he supports black lives matter? idk tbh but we’ll never know bc smeyer probably doesnt know what police brutality is. anyways ive really enjoyed the discourse on his relationship with bella and how he doesnt trust edward
jacob <3 he’s always been my heart, my soul, my baby, my fuckin cinnamon apple, etc. but i love the posts that other fans/nonhaters have been making abt how warm and kind he was before smeyer fucked him over and how he deserves so much better. its like yes im glad youre seeing all the things that make me a team jacob thot :)
idk if yall have already been tagged but im tagging @howlonghaveyoubeenseventeen @leahclearwaterdefensesquad @leahclearvvater and @bellas-dumptruck-ass! also anyone can fill this out and say i tagged them <3

I kind of need to vent about something really personal here that’s been bothering me all day. Sorry to throw some really personal shit out, but my next therapy appointment is in a week, so! Earlier today my mom and I were driving through our little tourist town and we saw these little buggies and she told me they replaced the family bike carts (like a bicycle made for 4 people to ride around the tourist area of this part of town) with these electric buggies (buggys? Idk). And she mentioned how my dad (who passed away a few years ago, and was separated from my mom since i was a kid) used to work for them and got fired and arrested because of letting his friends use the carts for free. She said he called her to say he was fired, and immediately after the cops showed up. And my mom had to drive to an unfamiliar town to bail him out with Exact Change and it was a huge deal for her.
And i put on the brakes on the conversation real fast, like what??? The shop owners arrested A LITERAL KID for doing what kids do???? And my mom tries to backpedal mentioning loss of profits is basically theft and what-not. But im here thinking about how this town is a predominantly white vs native+mexican town, in the early 90s, with these old conservative white shop owners who are ALWAYS mean (i speak from experience and first hand accounts of friends that were unfortunate enough to have worked in these tourist boutiques), and theyre out here ARRESTING a native teenager for doing what literally any kid in that situation would do. Are you trying to tell me there werent any blatantly racist motives behind this arrest???? And i bring this up to her and shes just trying to change the subject but its REALLY bothering me. Like i knew the shop owners that are in town (though ive never been on the carts) are all mean and nasty through every situation, but hearing about this really makes me sick! Because if someones giving out freebies, you just fire them! Thats literally all you have to do!! Its not like these tourists/or his friends are running away with these HUGE bike carts!!!! My mom goes “they probably just wanted to teach him a lesson” EXCUSE ME?
My dad had a rough time his whole life with law enforcement, and at home, so im just sitting there imagining what if? What if he never got Arrested that day? What if he never had those charges against him follow him through the rest of his life? (Theres a three strikes rule!) If he had gotten a second chance (of sorts) if he were only fired rather than arrested. Would he have gone on to have better interactions in regards to the law? Would he have had less problems down the line if employers had shown him some human decency AS A LITERAL MINOR?
What do you fucking expect a teenager to do when you let them run a tourist shop!!!! Theyre fucking kids, it’s what they do!! All i can think of is that there had to have been some ulterior motives behind it, because i know literally all the shop owners are old conservative and teen-hating white people, and my dad, being an obviously native person must have struck the racist chord in that owners heart as soon as he made a mistake. And thats what it is! A mistake! Like, i cant speak for him, but i can speak as a former teenager. We all made mistakes, and if you didnt, then you need to go to therapy.
Theres a lot that upsets me still especially since hes not here anymore, and i have a hard time talking about native stuff with my mom who is white lmao. But growing up and seeing the people in this area for who they are inside is really upsetting, because as a kid, you dont see all the nuance and pattern behind stories like this. Even as a teenager, you dont realize a lot of this stuff until youre older, especially when your primary parents are white and conservative. So its just kind of painful as im older and remembering things like this happening and what they would have meant when i take in the full perspective. Even after i became a legal adult, i still had (and have) a lot to learn about the way the world works, and how much of a contrast there is with my opinions when I was say 16 versus now - seeming wildly different now that i have a bit more world-experience from moving out of this town for college before ultimately coming back now. (For reference im 26 now.) I know i wrote something on here about my experience being half white before, looking back at what i realized about myself and my family, so i just wanted to throw this on here as well, while its still bothering me, rather that forget about it by the time therapy day comes around. Bottom line? Teenagers are still kids. Give them room to grow.

Imagine being the Youngest Reagan: Just the Seven of Us
Tumblr media
(A/N: Something different but fun. Just cute really. I hope you enjoy!)
Imagine being the Youngest Reagan: Just the Seven of Us
Staten Island, New York City, New York 1996
Joseph Reagan observed his parents sceptically, to the point he could feel his right eyebrow quirked up in suspicion as he watched them from his position in the backseat. They were certainly acting normally, he thought, as the continued to speak casually to Jamie, your brother, about his high school electives. Everything seemed normal but something was off and Joe knew it. He didn't understand where they were going, why they were being so secretive about it and why they had organised it like this so that they were only ones clued in. Joe’s younger siblings sixteen-year-old Jamie and eight year old Y/N clearly wasn't as curious as he was but maybe that was because as they both still lived at home and going on trips with them on the weekend weren't an unusual occurrence for them unlike Joe, who was now living on the Columbia Campus in the city after starting his freshman year there a few months ago. What was even weirder was that his older sister Erin, a Junior at Columbia, and older brother Danny, a rookie cop, were instructed to meet them at whoever they heading, no excuses. Which meant that unlike him who had decided to catch the train to Staten Island to his parents from the city a day early and stay the night before, they knew where they were all heading.
Though he was naturally curious, he trusted his parents and didn't dwell on it. So he pulled away from his intrigued thoughts and his view of the blurring Staten Island streets through the window to look at his little sister. Who was sandwiched comfortably between him and Jamie in the middle seat at the back seat of the car? He watched amused as she read the book tightly clutched in her small hands intently, her face slightly screwed up in concentration. It was a face that he knew all too well, his Mother and older sister Erin made similar faces when concentrating as well.
He was glad she was enjoying the book. His mom had been telling him that ever since moved out and gave her the book; ’The Ultimate Kid’s Guide to All Things Science’ that she hadn’t put it down. And today was no exception, the book enough to entertain her during the seemingly long trip. Though didn’t need his mom to tell him that she had been enjoying it, she told him every Sunday when he took the train back up for Sunday Lunch back at his parents. He was happy that she was liking it so much, especially as the whole reason he gave it to her was so that on the day he left, she would be too distracted to get too upset. Despite the age difference, Joe shared a very special bond with his baby sister. Unlike Jamie who thought he was too cool and Erin and Danny who were too much older, he loved spending time and talking to her. In fact, he missed hearing about her second grade, well now third-grade escapades. It was either his little sister was a great storyteller or that the lives of eight and seven years olds were vastly more interesting than his own.
Joe leaned into her side gently and bowed his head to whisper to her so that only she could hear.
“Whatcha reading?” He whispered, glancing at the page she was reading.
“How to make a volcano out of paper-mâché!” You whispered excitedly, looking at him with a large grin, “And before it said that inside volcanos there is lava and it's really hot!”
“Lava?” He asked, encouragingly, chuckling to himself as you flipped the page back and pointed at it dramatically.
“Molten rock!” You stated, confidently.
“Woah,” He played along happily, “So you’re enjoying the book then?”
“It’s the best present ever,” You exclaimed, though you were still whispering to each other, “Thank you, Joey,”
“But you still miss me right?” He teased.
You nodded with a playful pout just empathise how much you still missed him and he put his arm around you and gave you a squeeze.
“You’re squishing me!” You squealed, your face pressed up against his torso so it was muffled.
“It’s because I love you so much,” He jokingly singsonged, keeping you pressed into his side as he rocked you from side to side, the best he could from your strapped down position in the car.
“What’s going on back there?” Your Dad’s voice asked with teasing sternest from the driver’s seat, you both glanced forward to see his fascinated eyes fixated on the both of you in the rearview mirror. “Just the usual,” The nineteen-year-old quipped, acting in a way to arouse fake suspicion and to entertain you,  “Lava, college, our plans for world domination,”
“Is that right?” Your Dad entertained, looking at his eight year old daughter directly, “What will the great Y/N/N dominate first?”
You paused for a second your face contorting in concentration once again before responding.
“Manhattan,” You declared.
“You might want to ask Grandpa first,” He chuckled.
“Why do I need to ask Grandpa?” You whined, looking at him confused in the rearview mirror.
“Well, he’s the Police Commissioner remember? And that means it’s his job to make sure police officers like me and Danny do their job and protect people. Which includes stopping takeovers from tyrannical eight-year-olds,” He explained, purposely.
“What are you going to do if Grandpa says no, Y/N?” Jamie asked, his conversation over now, and his full attention refocused onto your interaction.
“Ask Grandma, she always says yes!” You revealed, “Especially when I make my eyes big like this,”
You widened your eyes with your fingers and pouted playfully which much to your confusion made everyone else in the car laugh.
“Can I know where we are going now?” Joseph asked your parents when the laughter died down.
“Patience, young Joseph,” Your Mother teased, whipping round to smirk at him, “All will be revealed,”
“You and your dramatics Mother,” Joe quipped, rolling his eyes at his mother and her antics, but he couldn't help the laugh that spilt over despite his best attempts to control himself.
“You hear that Frank?” She giggled, grabbing hold of his arm as he drove, “He’s serious, he called me mother,”
“Should we tell him?” Your Dad entertained, his eyes on the road ahead.
“Yes you should,” He interrupted, “Danny and Erin already know, so it’s only fair that I know too,”
“Well, that’s because there is too many of you to fit in the car,” Your Mom shrugged.
“I don’t know where we are going either,”Fifteen-year-old Jamie added, making sure he was apart of the conversation as well.
“Why can’t I know what I’m giving up my Saturday for?” Joe countered.
“Because you should be happily willing to spend your Saturday with us regardless of the exact details,” Your Mom refuted, “And anyway let’s be honest Joey, you didn't have any plans anyway,”
Jamie snorted.
“Hey,” Joe protested, “I had plans,”
“With Tia?” Jamie joked, rolling out her name as Joe’s cheeks went red.
“Shut up!”
“Whose Tia?” Your mom asked, perking up and suddenly eager, “Don’t tell me I have to start helping to plan another son’s wedding,”
“Mom,” Joe groaned in embarrassment, sinking in his seat slightly.
“That will teach you to try and ruin the surprise,” She laughed, “Now Jamie, how was football practice yesterday?”
It wasn’t long after that, that you arrived at your destination. You pilled out the car and marvelled in wonder at was before you as your brothers quickly followed you. Your parents with smiles on their faces grabbed all your things.
“Coney Island?” Joe questioned in disbelief, “You made me travel from Manhattan to Staten Island only to take me to Brooklyn?”
“We didn't make you come a day early,” Your Dad reminded.
“But you understand that this could have been so much easier, right? If you had told me where we were going for this family Day out!” He protested, helplessly.
“But think of all the fun you had on the journey up with us,” Your mom comforted, side hugging Joe tightly which he quickly returned.
“Now, we have to wait for your brother and sister to get here,” Your Dad announced.
“Babe, give Danny a call to see how long they’ll be,” Your Mother suggested, her and Joe circling the car towards your Dad while you and Jamie stood looking hopefully at the entrance, “He said that Erin was coming with him,”
“JJ is that a rollercoaster? You squealed as the distinctive whoosh of it breezed past you.
“Probably,” He nodded, before crouching down beside you, “But I have a feeling you might be too small to go on,”
“Noooo, why can’t I be taller!” You huffed, slamming your small foot adorned with a thin white sandal on the concrete.
“Maybe next year you'll grow,” He shrugged, nervously, suddenly regretting answering your question without backup, rookie mistake.
“But I want to go on now!” You insisted, “Maybe I’ll grow before we get there, lets go and see!”
“Well, how about we do something else together, instead? Because that’s not going to happen” He offered, hopefully.
“Like what?” You demanded, narrowing your little eyes at him and frowning.
“I’ll buy you a hotdog,” He smiled.
“You don't have any money,” You sighed, disappointed.
“Okay, I’ll get Dad to buy us both hotdogs,” He clarified.
“I want two,” You babbled, “I didn't have breakfast, so I'm really hungry,”
“Why not?”
“I wanted to save space for my milkshake,” You answered before grinning and adding, “Daddy said I could have one if I’m good,”
“How did you know you could get a milkshake?” He questioned.
“Because,” You began dramatically, “Mommy told me where we were going yesterday, she said we were going to the beach and they had milkshakes there. And I love milkshakes!”
“Why didn't you say anything?”
“Because if I had told you then it wouldn't be a secret and it was a secret,” You reiterated.
He was about to say something else only to be interrupted by the arrival of your older siblings, twenty-three-year-old Danny and twenty-one-year-old Erin.
“All right, we’re here and now tell us why,” Danny announced after he and Erin greeted your parents and the rest of you.
“Now that everyone is here,” Your Mother beamed, “I’ll explain. Your Father and I thought it would be fun to get all of us together for a proper family day, just the seven of us, because it’s very rare we all get together just us and because this might be our last chance as just seven ever before my baby boy get married next weekend,”
Your Mother finished her explanation by engulfing Danny into her embrace and squeezing his cheeks.
“Ma,” He cried, but he did little to remove himself from her grasp, “So that’s why I couldn't bring Linda, huh?”
“We wanted to celebrate it being just the seven us of us,” Your Dad added, going over and clapping Danny on the back, “Before you start your new family,”
“Well not any time too soon, hopefully,” He cringed, not enjoying both of his parent's undivided attention even if it was only for a few moments.
“A new family?” You whispered to yourself.
“Shh,” Jamie sounded, putting his finger to his lips as your parents continued to speak.
You were too consumed with your own confused thoughts to focus on what everyone was saying. All you could remember was looking up at everyone, everyone was smiling and laughing and your frowning at them all but they didn’t seem to notice.
“So we have dinner reservations at a restaurant for Seven, so if we end up splitting up that’s where we will meet,” Your Mom continued to explain, “But since this is a family day I hope we all be sticking together all day and yes I’m looking at you boys,”
Jamie and Danny protested the statement, your Dad and Joe just laughed.
“Oh,” You Mother cried, before pulling all five of you into a bear hug, you only reached her hips so once again your face was squished, “I can’t believe I get to believe I get to spend all day with all five o my babies,”
“Mom, don’t cry,” Erin said above you.
“I might not survive the day if you keep crushing my windpipe,” Danny spluttered.
She quickly released everyone before commenting playfully, “Sorry, for loving you all so much,”
“Come on let’s get going,” Your Dad instructed and with that, you made your way.
From there the seven you made your way around Coney Island. Constantly stopping and starting again, as everything seemed to grab the interest of at least one of you. None of you had realised how much you all had to catch up on with each other, everyone had something going on in their lives that they hadn't mentioned yet or fully explained. Your mother adored having all of you together and the fact that all of you were so close despite the large age differences. It was something she always worried about and the fact that sometimes he felt like she was always being pulled in five different directions which meant at least one of you was always left out. It was much easier when you were all together. Everyone was talking and enjoying themselves, happy. Just by simply being together.
Everyone except for you of course. You couldn't enjoy yourself as much as everyone else. Being the youngest meant that you couldn't participate in the rides that Joe and Jamie wanted to go on or a lot of the activities your Mom and Erin went off to do. So for a good proportion of the day you were on the sidelines with whoever was designated to take care of you. Not that you minded at that point, you were too upset but no one seemed to notice and it would fluctuate when you were distracted. Everyone was too distracted with enjoying themselves to notice that you weren't always. A lot of time to save time someone carried you round so that you wouldn't get too tired too quickly.
“What do you think, rockstar?” Your Mom asked bending slightly to meet you, as you stomped out of the dressing room of a kids clothing store that you, your mom and older sister Erin.
You frowned at the new denim dress that Erin had selected for you, which to you looked exactly like on you already had. You also shook your head to wobble the big red bow that Erin had put in your hair because she said it would match the new red shoes that your mom had selected.
“Well, that isn't a promising look,” She chuckled, grabbing your face in her hands and pulling it closer to hers, “What’s up?”
“I don’t like it!” You insisted.
“But you look so cute in it, well cuter than usual,” Your Mom winked at you with a reassuring grin, “What do you think Erin?”
“Y/N, you look adorable,” She complimented, playing with your mass of curly hair before straightening your bow.
“But I don’t want to be adorable,” You sighed.
“Then what do you want to be?” Your Mom questioned.
“A big girl,” You smiled, “So I can go on the rollercoasters,”
You Mom just chuckled while Erin who was at least a foot taller than your mom at that age knelt down beside you.
“You look like a big girl in that outfit,” she said.
“You’re just saying that because you picked it,” You frowned, narrowing your eyes at her suspiciously.
“No, I mean it,” She promised, “Look we’re matching,”
She gestured to the white and navy striped dress she was wearing and the shirt she had picked for you to wear under your new denim dress. Also white and navy.
“We are,” You beamed, your eyes lighting up before frowning again, “But you don’t like it when Mom tries to dress us the same,”
“I’ll make an exception for today,” She sighed.
“Really?”
“Only today because you look so amazing,” She teased, poking your ribs playfully and sticking your tongue at you.
“Is the lady satisfied?” Your Mom teased, shooting Erin a sneaky wink.
“Indeed,” You played along before you all left the store to meet the boys who were all waiting outside for you to finish.
“Can we go to the rides now?” Jamie asked as soon as you returned to the group.
Your Mom and Dad shared a look before looking down at you, knowing that you were too young to go on anything in that area. They seemed to interact telepathically, coming up with a plan without saying a word to each.
“All right boys, let’s go,” Your Mom responded as Jamie and Joe ran ahead.
“I’ll go too,” Erin added, walking alongside your mom.
Which left you, your Dad and Danny at the storefront. You looked up expectantly at your Dad, purposely ignoring your older brother.
“Hey kiddo, how about we try out some carnival games?” Danny asked.
“No,” You stated, ducking behind your Dad’s legs.
“No?” He repeated, taken aback.
You nodded before grabbing hold of your Dad tightly, his hands flying down to steady you.
“Oh okay,” He nodded.
“Why don’t you go catch up with everyone Danny,” Your Dad suggested pointedly leaving it as just the two of you.
He gathered you up in his arms and held you tightly against him.
“Are you sure you don’t want to go to the Carnival?” He asked, studying your young face.
“Let’s go,”
Fifteen minutes you were happily throwing beanbags and even though you weren't making any progress on the towers of steel cups, you were having fun. And your Dad seemed to be having fun just the two of you as well. He eventually stepped in and helped you win a prize, a toy money that was almost as big as you were.
“A monkey for my little monkey,” He grinned handing you the prize almost causing you to topple over.
“You hold it,” You squealed, shoving it back into his arms as he laughed at you.
He put the monkey over one shoulder and grabbed your hand as you continued your way through the carnival.
You babbled happily to him as you went and even though he engaged with you, usually as happy, he watched you with a curious eye. Not forgetting your interaction with your older brother as well as your mood throughout the day. You were in the middle of telling him the story of your day at school the day before when he bumped into a cop that he knew. Your Father soon became distracted by the conversation enough that you eased your hand out of his. You knew that your Dad loved to talk to other cops and that it might take a while. You looked around for something to do but trying to make sure that you stayed close. You knew better than to wander off. You looked around suspiciously about to give up before you heard some frustrated sighs from a booth beside you.
Curious as ever, you wandered over to see what was making the boy so upset. He was tall and skinny boy, only a couple of years older than you with really blonde hair and bright eyes. You watched for a few minutes as he kept failing to aim the water gun correctly, so he kept on missing his target. He huffed in defeat, turned around and noticed you.
“Oh,” He said in surprise, “Are you waiting to play?”
“No,” You answered much to his confusion, “I was watching you,”
“I’m not very good at this game so it probably wasn't very interesting,” He blushed, shoving his hands in his pocket awkwardly in embarrassment.
“If you want I can show you how to do it,” You offered, brightly, “This is my favourite game,”
“Okay,” He nodded, sceptically, stepping out the way for you.
“You have to do it like this,” You instructed, repeating how Danny had once taught you when playing with water guns in the backyard.
You raised the water gun up with two hands, and aimed it in the right position, keeping your eye on the target before pressing the lever and hitting the bullseye exactly. You kept your hand steady until the tank filled up and the bell rang, indicating that you won a surprise. Once it did and you were handed your prize, a keychain this time, you turned back to look at the boy.
He had been watching you with his mouth open.
“Here you go,” You insisted, giving him the keychain.
“But it’s yours,” He said.
“And I’m giving it to you,” You smiled, “Do you think you can do it yourself now,”
He nodded, “You’re really good at it,”
“My brother Danny showed me how to do it,” You informed brightly before frowning again.
“What’s wrong?” The boy asked.
“My brother is leaving!” You cried.
“Why?”
“He’s getting a new family,” You said, sadly.
“That’s too bad. You’re like the coolest sister ever,” He comforted.
“Really?”
“Yeah, none of my older sisters know how to shoot a water gun,” He sighed, “They just talk about girly things like clothes and boys,”
“Boys are gross,” You shuddered.
“Hey,” He protested, offended.
“Not you,” You corrected, “You’re my friend,”
“I am?” He grinned.
“Yeah,” You nodded. “I’m Dominick, but everyone calls me Sonny,”
“Like sunshine?” You giggled.
“Yeah,” He shrugged, bashfully.
“I’m Y/N,” You breathed, reaching to shake his hand, “Nice to meet you,”
You shook each other's hands vigour-sly before bursting into giggles. You continued to chat about the game as Sonny had another go himself. But you were soon interrupted by your Dad calling for you.
“I have to go now,”
“Bye,” He waved.
You waved back before running back over to your hug who bent down to greet you with a hug.
“Where did you run off to?” He inquired, bopping you on the nose.
“Over there playing a game with my friend,” You pointed, giggling as he shook you around playfully.
“You just make friends everywhere don’t you?” He chuckled as he clasped your hand and you continued to walk up the pier.
“That’s because it's easy,”
“Not for everyone,” He informed before you stopped and sat on a bench that looked out over the seafront, “Do you want to know a secret, Y/N?”
You nodded, turning to look up at your Dad.
“Your Mom and I sat on this very bench on our first date,”
“Really, it’s that old?” You asked.
“Must be,” He laughed, “I took your mother here for our very first date and after we spent all afternoon playing carnival games we came and sat here for hours,”
“And you didn't get bored?”
“I could never be bored when I’m with your mother,”
“Do you get bored of me?” You inquired, curiously.
“No, of course not. I could never get bored of you,” He promised, pulling you into his side, “You’re my baby girl,”
“Is Danny bored of us?” You continued, widening your eyes up at him.
“Why are you asking that?” You Dad returned, clearly concerned.
“Because he’s leaving and starting a new family,” You began to sob, your eyes filling with tears.
“Hey,” Your Dad comforted, wiping away the tears that spilt down your face, “Danny isn't leaving the family. He’s always going to be your brother and apart of this family, all of us will always be.”
“Then why did Mom say, it was last time?” You demanded.
“Because when Danny gets married next weekend, they’ll be eight of us,” He clarified.
“Eight?”
“Well won’t Linda will be one of us?”
“She is?” You exclaimed.
“She’s going to be a Reagan, just like you and just like me,” He reassured.
“I love Linda,” You grinned before lowering your voice, “Sometimes more than Danny,”
“I know you do,” He smiled, hugging you tightly before pulling you away at arm's length, “Now should we go find Danny so you can say sorry for being mean to him,”
You nodded reluctantly before your Dad carried you to the other end of the pier where everyone else was. As you approached, you saw Danny standing with your Mom as your other brothers and Erin rode a ride that was going faster than you had ever seen before. As soon as you were in reach, you made your Dad put you down and you ran up to Danny, slamming into his side with so much momentum that you almost knocked him over before you hugged him.
“What the…Y/N?” He said jumping in surprise before steadying himself.
“Hi,”
“Oh, are we speaking now?” He probed, looking down at you, “You’ve been frowning at me all day,”
“Because I thought you were leaving me” You pouted, “But I know you aren't so we’re friends again,”
“What if I don’t want to be friends with you?” He countered.
You felt your face crumble as you gazed up at him.
“All right, all right, we’re friends,” He insisted quickly, finally hugging you back, “Just never look that upset again, promise?”
“Promise,” You nodded before whispering, “Hey Danny?”
“What’s up kiddo?”
“I’m really happy that Linda is going to be a Reagan,”
“Me too,” He smiled, poking at your dimples as you smiled back at him.
For the rest of evening, you stuck by Danny’s side, sitting by him at dinner and letting him carry you on the beach when all seven of you took a final stroll on the beach before leaving. You don't remember saying goodbye to Danny, Erin or Joe. The next thing you remember is waking up in the car, it was dark outside and Jamie was asleep beside you while your Dad snored quietly in the passenger seat. Your Mom who was driving and had noticed you stirring.
“Did your Dad’s snoring wake you?” She whispered to you.
You shook your head stifling a giggle as your mom motioned for you to be quiet.
“Where are we going?” You asked.
“We’re heading home now,” She informed, “Did you have fun today?”
You nodded eagerly at her, “It was the best day ever,”
“I’m glad you had fun,”
“Did you Mommy?” You inquired.
“It was best the day ever,” You smiled, repeating your sentiment.
“What was your favourite part?” You questioned, intrigued as much as you could be in your tried state.
“Spending time for you, of course,” She insisted before adding, “And going back to the pier with your Dad,”
“Because that’s where you had your first date!” You reasoned.
“How do you know that?”
“It’s a secret,” You breathed, putting a finger to your lips.
“Uh huh,” She nodded sceptically, “Or your Dad is a blabbermouth,”

must read sanvers fics in your opinion? (i mean aside from yours obvi bc yours are like the sacred texts of the sanvers fandom hahaha)
SACRED TEXTS i’m dying. def not true, but thank you :)
here’s like… my top ten-ish fics:
- The Lighthouse Technique by InspectorBoxer -  Kara grinned. “I already have a plan. A foolproof technique, in fact, to get Maggie Sawyer’s full attention.”
also -
- i can’t believe we’re here - “I don’t know how to tell you this, Detective, but I’d like to introduce you to Jamie. Your daughter.” A post 3x05 fix-it fic, in which Maggie has a surprise daughter and the characters and plot are all A+ (currently incomplete but read it anyway! it leaves off in a not unsatisfying place)
The above fic is part of the “you and i collide” series, all comprised of very well-written and in character reunion fics, also by InspectorBoxer and zennie, who does the following two fics too:
- Worth the Fight - After the kiss (2x06), Alex and Maggie struggle to get back to friendship and maybe more. Also, Maggie is targeted by assassins and Alex is protective.
- Headstrong - Maggie challenges Alex to a race. It doesn’t end like either of them planned.
- Spin Doctor (grown ass woman) by performativezippers - Maggie doesn’t really talk to other people while she’s at the spin studio – she’s not, as they say, there to make friends – but everyone tends to do friendly nods and say hi, especially in the locker room, and she does the same.
So she’s gotten know most of the teachers and many of the other morning clients by sight. So she’s sure this is the first time she’s seen this new woman.
She’d definitely have remembered someone like that.
- Lexie (Five Inch Heels) (also by performativezippers) - “I’m Lexie,” she says, and it’s clearly a fake name but that doesn’t bother Maggie. She’ll only need to know a legal name if this girl ever gets booked and Maggie has to intervene. She hopes it never comes up.
“Nice to meet you, Lexie.”
Lexie just stares at her, and Maggie can’t tell if she’s smirking of if it’s a trick of the light.
“Sure it is,” she finally says, and oh, yes, she was smirking.
Maggie decides to forgo delicate, and asks her next question bluntly, her hands back in her pockets. “What brings you out tonight?”
“Astronomy.” Lexie deadpans. “Been a while since I’ve last stargazed; thought I’d commune with nature and all that shit.”
- but the fruit is sweet by thrace - Sometimes doing the right thing sucks
or
Maggie can’t figure out why Supergirl is suddenly giving her the cold shoulder. Post 2x06.
- dream of you a little longer by likebrightness - Maggie runs that kiss over in her mind.
Too much, she does. For too long. She can’t stop thinking about that kiss.
She knows she’s into Alex Danvers, obviously. Has known it since the woman walked into her crime scene. That’s not the question here.
- Noise Complaint by SapphicScholar - What started out as a cracky/smutty idea about what would happen if Alex and Maggie lived next-door to one another turned into a rewrite of Season 2a in which Sanvers is given time to develop, conversations about alien rights aren’t dropped after a hot second, and Roulette and Cadmus don’t pop in and out only when it’s convenient.
- there’s a part of me i’ve been searching forby colourmeblue - The first time she sees Maggie Sawyer, she’s not that impressed. A fake relationship AU (in which Alex is FBI and Maggie is a cop)
- Communion  by adieu_sweetmaryllis - Four years — she’d made it four years without having Maggie Sawyer in a single class of hers despite them both going to the same school. If she hadn’t seen her once or twice across campus she would’ve thought the girl never actually ended up attending National City University, despite both of them getting acceptance letters a few weeks before — well, before everything went up in flames.
- I would move mountains to make you smile by DisplacedWarrior - Alex was just looking for a way to handle her giant crush without talking about it, she had no idea creating an anonymous Instagram account for her cheesy sapphic poetry would cause this much of a stir.
It has half the school starry-eyed but what about the one girl it was intended for?
- Ashes and Ember by Roadie - fairytale au wherein Alex is sort-of-but-not-really-Cinderella, Maggie is sort-of-but-not-really-also-Cinderella-crossed-with-a-fairy-godmother, James Olsen is the nobility we all know him to be, and Gertrude is a horse sidekick.
(there’s a fic rec tag thingy on my page if you are on desktop form and i have a whole/longer rec there, with most of my ships)

Chapter 184
Tumblr media
Devin
Greg shakes his head at me. "I'm thinking my nigga sold out. Went and married a white gurl after cleaning up his life."
"What, bruh?" I say chuckling.
"You here cause you got my text and you ready to make real money?" Luke says nodding.
I shake my head. "Last thing I need in money, bruh."
"So it is a white girl?" Greg asks.
"What is wrong with you and white girls? Me and MiMi..."
Luke chokes on his Hennessy a bit. "Shit. MiMi? What the fuck MiMi still doing around? You got money with MiMi ass in the picture?"
"Naw you got it wrong." Greg says. "He wouldn't have shit if MiMi wasn't around. She will rape his ass for all the money he has. Nigga ain't bouts to be happy with no white girl."
I laugh. "Y'all not shit. You know."
Luke chuckles leaning over the table. "What you got in your hand?"
"Something cute." Greg says taking it. "Wedding invitations?"
"The fuck? You marrying little hotty?"
"We married already. Just having a wedding now."
Luke snaps his finger. "Don't open mine motherfucker. Baby ma's wants to open that. When you get married?"
"The first time? Man, it been a minute now. A year?"
"About damn time. I thought you wanted to be an old dog like me." Greg says. He tosses the invite to the side. "We send something back?"
"Bitch, that's your ticket on the jet. You better get that shit and keep it close." I say cutting my eyes at him.
He picks it up off the floor. "Shit."
"A jet? We flying private?" Luke says lighting a blunt.
"I mean unless you wanna provide your own way to the wedding. It's up to you. You still need that invite to attend the wedding."
Greg sighs. "Why you give it to me so early? Here you keep it. Give it to me later."
I take it back from him then stand up. "Some shit never change."
"Where you going?" Luke says sitting up.
"Im supposed to be home resting with the little sick man and his sister."
"Who?" Greg asks.
I laugh. "My kids man."
"Two?"
"When you get a girl? Thats how MiMi fine ass trapped him." Greg laughs.
I chuckle. "We had a baby girl a few months ago."
"What's your answer on this job?" Luke asks.
"Hell naw. I don't need the trouble or the money."
"Damn, I feel disrespected." Luke says. "You turning down food on your table without fucking asking the details. What the fuck you got going on that's putting my little shit to bed? You got enough shit going on in your life? I need to know something. Who shit you moving?"
I frown. This turning into shit too fast. Shit I don't need. Shit I would have never predicted. I was tempted to tell him that I am moving my own shit. That would have made matters worst. Then again at the same time this nigga up here acting like he made me. Either way I don't want his shit in the middle of my shit. I got a few people I deal with for when celebrities ask about drugs. They are his people so ain't shit to say. I glance at Greg to read his expression. His expression read that this was a simple conversation. But as simple as it may seem, it's not simple.
"Bitch you own me?"
"I fed you when you needed to be fed."
I scrunch up my face. "I worked my ass off for what I made. You were only looking out for your fucking self just like me. Don't fucking at like you above me."
"What we doing all this shit for?"
"What I owe you? Name it."
Luke chuckles. "Its like that? You just gonna wipe out whatever amount I specify?"
"I look like a fucking bank?"
"Nigga, smoke a blunt and shut the hell up. You don't owe me shit."
"Including a fucking explanation of how the fuck I'm living my life. But since you want to know so damn bad... I'm currently living with my wife fucking best friend and her damn family."
Greg laughs. "Oh yeah. The one who married Trey Songz."
"The fuck?" Luke says. "You living with them? They feeding your family?"
"Gotta make it in life." I say shrugging walking towards the door.
Luke turns in his seat. "Bitch, I highly doubt that shit."
"Come to the wedding." I shrug. "You'll see."
"Baby Ma's really gonna be hyped about this shit. I might get head up until the damn wedding."
I know I ain't shit for that but I want this nigga to understsnd thst his way ain't the only way. I ain't gojng down the list of shit that Trey has setup for me. Not to this nigga when he in his feelings about me needing him. No nitch I don't need you. I got richer friends in higher places that not looking over their shoulders for the cops to knock their shit down. I want him to feel like he is disposable. Replaced by someone he only wishes to live like. I win. Even though I made myself seem like a fucking loser.
"Wife." I say answering MiMi's video.
"I need you to get the... Where the fuck you at?"
I didn't think about that. I chuckle. "In my car, bae."
"Don't fuck with me you bitch ass motherfucker."
"Mookie, we talked about your language towards me."
She rolls her eyes. "Fine. Don't lie to me you fucking black ass nigga."
I laugh. "Oh that's cute."
"You in the fucking hood?"
"Bae, I'm..."
She pauses the video or something. "Did your dumbass forget where we live?"
"Bae, stop." I say looking out the window. "How can you tell where I'm at?"
"Devin, don't play with me."
I look at the road. "I went by to give Luke and Greg the shit. I told you about that."
"Those wedding invites better be the only thing you gave them."
"Oh naw. I gave them some dick too."
She twists up her face. She was looking at somebody.
"What the fuck he say?" It was Rollie.
I start laughing. "Naw, man."
Rollie was in the view of the camera. "Fuck naw."
"I was being funny." I laugh. "She was going on like I was cheating."
"Fuck that."
"I mean damn Rollie. Here I am thinking he selling drugs or fucking other bitches. Now I fucking got to worry about him fucking the fucking homies. How I supposed to compete with strong jaws."
I laugh hysterically. "Bae, stop."
"Shut the hell up, man." Rollie laughs.
"Shit, Rollie." MiMi says then starts laughing. "Oh my baby in here now. Let me act like somebody. Hey, Coosa."
"You called her Cooda? Like Cooda cat?"
She flips me off. "Go fuck somebody with your dumbass."
"Damn, what happen to acting like somebody?"
"Rollie took the baby. Bye."
I love the fuck out of my Mookie. I chuckle to myself. She hung up the phone on me.
Tumblr media
  Trey
"Brown." I say dapping him up. "Damn, you took long enough."
"Aye, I was outside waiting on you for 40 minutes."
I laugh. "Bitch, you were not."
"Straight fucking up." he says. "I gotta pee."
"Damn, nigga. I'll be outside."
"Imma take 40 minutes to pee." Chris says walking away.
I leave out. He know his ass lying about sitting out here for 40 minutes. Chris not waiting on anybody that long. He is headed out of the building by the time we get to the car.
"Fucking Jackie was with me earlier." I say.
"What happened to him?" Chris says opening a box of food.
I open it up more looking inside. "Nigga, all that fatty food gonna catch up with your ass. I don't know where he went. I'm guessing back to Kevin's where the bitches and liquor at. I been in my feelings for the last hour. I'm sure he got bored. Listening to me bitch about my shit."
"I'll listen to you bitch all day." Chris says mouth full of food. "I had Royalty earlier today. You missed her."
"I saw her. Joyce had her."
Chris nods. "What you bitching about?"
"I'm always bitching when I'm away from home. I have fucking trust issues like a bitch. If Cammie not near me she out fucking somebody."
Chris laughs. "That's a fucking lie. I know you know its a lie. But it coming from somewhere. Why would you think it?"
"She too perfect. Niggas like me... Like you. We don't get perfect."
"Shit. I know. I feel you." he says stuffing his mouth. "This the reason you never post shit about your wife?"
I nod. "I go posting this perfect woman being the perfect wife I need. Expressing my love for her. Telling the whole world how I found the love of my life. Dedicating every love song I hear to her existence. Proving my faithfulness. Then some nigga hits me up telling me how he fucking my wife. How he done sampled a piece of my perfect life."
Chris cuts his eyes at me. "You think about this a lot."
"Every fucking time I'm away from my wife."
"Shit." he says putting his food down. "I'm not a nigga for advise cause my ass even more insecure. Amber makes sure I call it insecure not trust issues."
I laugh. "Fucking Amber."
Chris nods. "She my golden star. My good luck charm... Anyway, Cammie a fucking goddess man. She perfect just like you think. Like she has proven to be loyal when she hates you. If anything call that Southern Belle out on her shit. Your grandma ain't raised you that way. She values her pussy, no offense. She not gonna just give it to some other nigga. I still don't see how your ass got her. You fit her standards in some alternate world. She yours in this life and the next. Niggas already see your girl."
"Wha?"
"Yeah. Niggas was talking about her just today. On some disrespectful shit but none of those bitches could even fix their lips to lie about hitting. They know that lie gonna have to be backed up with some real shit."
"Talking about my wife how?"
He chuckles. "I wasn't in the whole conversation but from what I heard talking about how they worked their asses off to get nothing."
"Worked their asses off?"
"Trey, repeat one more damn thing I say." Chris says taking out his phone. "Cammie always where you think she is. Stop flexing nigga."
I take out my phone and stare at the home screen. "Yeah, I know."
Chris takes my phone. "Let's call her. She either lying in the bed with MiMi or somewhere in the house fussing at Lane. She back from dancing?"
"Yeah."
"Hey... What?" Lane says. "Chris? No."
Chris laughs. "Where your mama?"
"I not say it."
"Lane, Imma knock your head across the room." Chris says shaking the phone.
Lane laughs. "You hit my car with you car?"
Chris laughs. "I don't go around hitting people little boy. You fake as shit."
"You see Caden?"
"Lane get that off of his head! What are you doing?" Cammie snaps. "Give me my phone!"
"Mommy, no be like that." Lane says. "In a minute."
"Boy!"
Lane starts crying. "You be mean like that to me? No."
Cammie looks at the phone. "Christopholucus, why do you have my husband's phone?"
"Why you being mean to my little nigga?"
"His fake ass is not worried about you." Cammie says turning the phone.
Lane was in the middle of the floor with JJ and a toy airplane. You wouldn't think that he was just crying about a phone.
"Tremaine, I hear you breathing. Did your ass get some medicine?"
"Umm?" I say leaning away from the phone.
Cammie sucks her teeth. "Caden talk to your daddy and his friend. I don't got time."
I look at the screen. This woman had put the phone near Caden. He turns his head looking at the phone. He turns back away from it licking his tongue out. Chris hands me the phone. I sit there watching Caden. He turns his head back to the phone. This time he stares at it.
"You happy cause you see your daddy face?" Cammie says. "Tremaine, are you okay?"
"Yeah."
She bites Caden's neck making him laugh. He turns his head towards her. She bites at his face making him laugh some more. I smile at them. Once again I get to witness Cammie and her great parenting skills. She is a great mother. I hope she never goes through what we went through in the past. From Caden to before Lane. I want to make our lives just as perfect as the idea of us.
"Talk to you later, Daddy." Cammie says hanging up.
"Enjoy the moment as best as you can." I say looking at Chris. "That's what I end up telling myself. But it only comes to me at the end of the week when I realize how dumb I've been acting."
Chris smiles. "Man, your shit all good. Work on keeping the same energy when it comes time to leave. Amber and me are shooting to be better than yall."
"You do that." I nod.
"I want to get married this summer. What you think?"
I shake my head. "You better off trying next year. "MiMi and Dee getting married this year."
"And?"
"You can't show up their wedding. You gotta give them at least 3 months to enjoy the high from their own wedding without attending yours."
Chris shrugs. "I guess I like them like that."
"You do."
"When you figure out this whole insecure shit, let me know so I can fix my shit."
"Amber just might be your Cammie if you keep your dick to yourself."
"5 months clean." he says nodding.
I start counting the months backwards. "And yall been together for how long?"
He waves his hand. "Focus on your shit."
"Bitch."

Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) Pt. 5
A Kwon Jiyong x Reader AU series featuring Kim Jiwon and Choi Seunghyun
Genre: Crime/Mafia/ANGST
Warnings: Swearing/Violence
Word count: 4,000+ (There’s A LOT going on here....)
Summary: You joined the police force years ago to help clean up the streets of Seoul and rid the city of organized crime. You’ve seen some shit. You’re surely prepared for anything…but how are you supposed to feel when the big bad crime boss you’ve been after turns out to be a familiar (to say the least) face?
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Tumblr media
The police force prepares you to handle and respond to just about anything; to be a master of balancing action/reaction in any scenario under limitless amounts of pressure. When you wear that badge, you should be ready to tackle whatever is thrown at you no matter what. In the four years you’d held your position, you’ve proven your capabilities through and through.
But the look on Jiwon’s face rendered you almost catatonic.
It was the look a child gives to a parent upon catching them stuffing their face with cookies that the child had left out for Santa Claus. It placed a massive weight on your chest that you would have done anything and gone anywhere to remove. You just sat there staring back at him, knowing it was impossible to take back the last three minutes. Your silence was enough of an answer for him.
His face left yours for no more than a second to recall the mixed company. There was an undeniable shift in the room’s tension as he offered Chief Kim a polite nod. “I apologize. Don’t let me interrupt.” His expression had softened. But it was a smile of his that you knew all too well. You knew exactly what he was thinking when he heard that name, and it ridded your heart with a massive amount of guilt to see him smile through it.
“Jiwon…” You began.
“Here.” He offered the paper bag out to you. “I got you breakfast from the food court. Let me know if you don’t like it and I’ll get you something else.” You couldn’t bring yourself to play along and respond.
The forced smile remained on his face as he bowed to Chief Kim before exiting the room once again. You continued to stare at the door, speechless, until your superior cleared his throat, returning to his own unanswered question.
You squeezed your eyes shut before looking back to him. “I’m sorry about that.” You muttered. “I know that it wasn’t on record anywhere in the basement. That’s because I saw him face to face…he was there when I was hurt…he gave the man the orders.” Your gaze fell to your right leg as you said those words.
Chief Kim shifted in his seat. “This is the first I’m hearing about this.”
“I know.” You paused, still unable to maintain eye contact as your heart and brain continued to wage their war against one another. “But it’s true.”
“You…know him?” He stated it as a fact more so than an actual question.
He sighed at your lack of response. “Y/N. I know I don’t need to remind you of the protocol that comes into play here. Personal connections to a case like this…it shouldn’t be allowed.” Your eyes shot up to meet his before he continued. “I don’t want to remove you from your position in this. Your qualifications and passion exceed damn near everyone, and you are a fantastic detective.” His stern look bore into you. “But I will not hesitate to shut this whole thing down.”
You shook your head. “No. No, Chief, I assure you I can do this. I’m just still shook up from what happened… I will get over it. I promise you.”
The look on his face oozed skepticism. You took a deep breath. “Yes I knew him… Once. That was a long time ago…Clearly, he is a different person.”
He took a minute to silently mull over your words before nodding his head. “All right…I do want to see where you take this case. I know what you are capable of, Y/N.” He paused for emphasis. “But the second I see this becoming an issue, I am putting an end to it. That goes for Seunghyun too. Do you understand?”
You returned a firm nod with zero hesitation.
Speaking to your superior helped reignite your desire to succeed. You silently reminded yourself to shake every ounce of emotion off and maintain your professional demeanor. At least on the surface. Despite how desperately you may wish otherwise, you know that you can’t change the past. You had a job to do and there was no time to waste on your feelings.
After all, you now had someone else’s to worry about.
The amount of anxiety that stayed bundled in your chest when Jiwon reentered the room was ungodly. The room was absolutely silent aside from your IV pump’s beeping and the sound his shoes made as they scuffed against the linoleum flooring. Once he took his place in the metal folding chair beside your bed, he grabbed your left hand and held it without a word. He didn’t even look at you. You watched him intently, feeling sweat slowly begin to bead at your hairline. The weight on your chest felt heavier and heavier as the minutes passed by.
He might as well have been screaming at you. Anything but this…aren’t YOU the one that got shot? What the hell do you have to feel guilty about right now? You had all intentions of telling him. You were going to…eventually.
“Aren’t you hungry?”
He uttered the words monotonously as he stared down at your fingers. It wasn’t what you’d wanted to hear but it was something. You sighed and nudged the untouched paper bag full of food.
“Yeah. I’ll eat some in a minute.” You offered a small smile despite the fact that he still hadn’t looked at you. He nodded his head slightly before silence fell on the room once again, putting a fast end to his attempt at a normal conversation.
The truth was, Jiwon never actually met Jiyong. Ever. There was a lot about you and Jiyong that he never even knew. Whether it was due to pent up insecurities, or jealousy…he knew enough to start countless fights. Even though you never really believed you did anything wrong or gave him any real reason to be mad at you, you apologized again and again, until it was all brought to an end years ago. It was Jiwon’s decision that Jiyong’s name was never to be spoken between the two of you ever again. Today, of course, had broken all of that.
Beep…Beep…Beep…
He brought his left hand up to his lips, which he kissed before gently lowering it to your right knee. His thumb slowly moved back and forth. You felt yourself relax slightly at the affectionate gesture, holding onto the hope that that subject had actually been left in the past, for good. His eyes lingered on your right leg protectively.
“So…that’s what he’s been doing all these years.”
Your warm expression fell. You should have known better.
Your responding silence made him look up at you and hold your hand a little tighter. “I’m sorry. I’m not trying to get us into this again… We finished that conversation a long time ago.” He forced a small grin that you did your best to match. Three years ago actually, but who’s counting?
“I just can’t believe this.” He let out a sigh and shook his head, bringing his eyes back to your leg. “That son of a bitch…”
Discomfort began to fill your chest again as you readjusted your hand in his. You didn’t know how he expected you to reply to any of this. Your mind had been filled with so much confusion; you were proud of yourself for even remembering how to blink. He muttered something to himself, but the room’s dead silence made it impossible for you to not hear him.
“He’ll get his soon...”
Your eyes widened reflexively. Without taking another second to think up an actual response, your face contorted into a wince. “Aish.”
Jiwon removed his left hand from its position with raised eyebrows. “Are you o-?”
You cut him off. “Will you get the nurse? I…I think this pain medication has worn off.”
One week later
“And so, ya know, that’s why I wanted to meet with you in person today. I wanted to be sure you heard it from me first.” Dongjoo folded his hands together. The young man said the words with enthusiasm but his eyes never stopped shifting anxiously between the two men seated across from him.
Jiyong said nothing. He merely tilted his head to the side and narrowed his eyes, as if trying to convince himself that this really was the same man he’s known for years. The same man who, in the beginning, had appeared on his hands and knees quivering before Jiyong and begged like a dog for “just one more day.” Who had gladly “organized” thousands and thousands of dollars into his little tobacco shop at the drop of a hat, because he feared the name, G Dragon. Who’d answered any and every cop or government worker that grew the least bit suspicious, reading all his lines without missing a cue. There’s no way this was the same man who had just so confidently informed Jiyong that he’s decided to move his business to America, and would no longer require his men to “look after” him and his store.
After entertaining the thought for a minute, Jiyong raised his eyebrows in amusement and returned his gaze to the grill. Dongjoo’s smile faltered slightly. His eyes darted back to Jiyong’s partner, silently begging him to say something. Taehee offered no assistance, only staring back at the man with the same mute expression he’d been sporting all night. A small smile found its way to Jiyong’s face as he grabbed a set of tongs to rotate the beef. The loud sizzle it made helped to disguise the audible gulp from his, now former, business associate.
Jiyong continued to stare at the meat with watchful eyes as he brought his elbow to rest on the table, allowing the hand holding the tongs to support his chin. Dongjoo watched him closely, feeling the nervous sweat begin to bead at his forehead. A chill ran down his spine as Jiyong blinked before locking eyes with him once again; that same smile painted across his face.
“Well, that’s too bad.” Jiyong finally said, casually. “I’ve got to say, I’m a little disappointed.” He pointed the tongs at Dongjoo in a playful manner. “America doesn’t deserve your good business.”
Dongjoo burst out in an exaggerated laugh, making it clear he’d been holding his breath. “Oh come on now.”
“No, no, honestly.” Jiyong raised his eyebrows and nodded his head. “You come on; no one runs a tobacco shop over there like you do. No question.”
Dongjoo shrugged his shoulders and laughed again, visibly relaxing. “You’re making me blush. Enough, enough.”
“I think that’s ready.” Taehee interrupted and nodded to the beef.
“Oh here let me cut it.” Dongjoo began to reach for the scissors beside the grill, before Jiyong beat him to it.
“Oh no, please, allow me.” He grabbed the tool with his free hand. “This calls for a celebration. The least I can do is serve you some quality barbecue.” He grabbed the beef with the tongs and carefully eyeballed where to slice it.
“America…now that’s exciting.” He said with his eyes on the grill, lining up the scissors into position. “How’s the Mrs. feel about that?” Slice.
Dongjoo flinched at the sound, while furrowing his eyebrows at the unexpected personal question. “Oh uh.” Slice. “She’s ready for the change I think.” Slice. He laughed lightly.
“You think?” Slice. “Oh, you better know. Don’t want any issues being caused in the marriage because of this. Moving to another country is no small step.” Slice. “What about your daughter?”
Dongjoo laughed nervously once again. Slice. “She’s, uh, she’s excited.” Slice. “She’s only five so, you know, she doesn’t really have much of an opinion.” Slice. He reached up to scratch the back of his head uncomfortably. They’d never discussed his family before.
Jiyong smiled wider. “Ah, kids.” Slice. “They just go with whatever you say.” He looked up at Dongjoo and served him a few strips of beef. “They trust you.”
Dongjoo did an awful job at disguising his discomfort. He hesitated in bowing his head to accept the serving, and quickly averted his eyes to his plate. But Jiyong wasn’t done.
“When do you leave?”
Dongjoo looked up with his chopsticks still in his mouth, having just taken his first bite. “Huh?”
Jiyong was placing a few strips of beef on Taehee’s plate; he looked up to make brief eye contact with his partner before turning back to the nervous gentleman across from him. “I said when do you leave? For America?”
“Oh, ha…ha, in about a month.”
Jiyong raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Oh, well why don’t we just ride this thing out for another month then?” He asked before taking a bite of his own serving. His eyes didn’t leave Dongjoo, who began to shift in his seat as he stared back down at his plate.
“I don’t, uh…you know, with moving and everything that goes into it, I won’t be really doing much business and just-.”
Jiyong cut off his word vomit with a laugh, waving his hand with a full mouth. “I’m fucking with you. Do what you gotta do.”
“Oh.” Dongjoo chuckled out of relief once again. “Thank you. I-… I appreciate that.”
The rest of the dinner didn’t get any more comfortable than that. Jiyong continued to eyeball Dongjoo, who continuously blotted the sweat on his forehead, which he insisted was due to his angle from the grill. Taehee continued to stare blankly between the two of them, only mildly confused, until they all got up to leave. Jiyong held the door open, and as Taehee passed, he grabbed him by the shoulder and muttered something under his breath. Taehee looked at his boss for just a moment, before nodding and walking outside.
Dongjoo walked a little too eagerly in the direction of his car, parked on the opposite side of the building. As he began to walk through the narrow alleyway to get there, he turned to bid a quick goodbye to the two men. “Thank you for everything, gentlemen. I wish you nothing but the best.” He made a hasty bow, which Jiyong and Taehee returned, before turning on his heels.
Just as he’d taken a single step towards the safety of his vehicle, he heard Jiyong’s voice once again. But this time it was closer. He turned around to see the crime boss walking towards him at a leisurely pace. “Now, now. What kind of a goodbye is that? We’ve been through a lot together, you and me. You’ve got to give me more respect than that, right?” As he arrived before him, Jiyong reached his right hand out with an honorable grin.
Dongjoo’s face flashed with worry before quickly covering it back up. “Oh, I’m sorry, GD. I just don’t want the wife to worry, you know? Of course, of course. I surely didn’t mean any disrespect.” He reached a clammy hand out to make contact with Jiyong’s. “No hard feelings?” He asked with a hopeful smile.
Just as Jiyong let out a small chuckle, Dongjoo’s eyes flashed to Taehee. He was standing behind Jiyong, far back by the alleyway entrance, with his back turned to both of them. It took him less than a second for Dongjoo to understand what was about to happen.
As he locked eyes with Jiyong, who was holding his now quivering hand with a firm grip, he had no time to think before his skull swung forward to collide with his own.
Dongjoo released the hand he’d use to shake Jiyong’s as he flung his head back in pain. “Fuck!” His vision was blurred while he tried to look forward, seeing four Jiyong’s coming towards him, each with darkened expressions and their right fists reeled back.
His nose shattered the minute Jiyong made contact, sending Dongjoo’s body immediately to the alley ground. His hands flew to his face as if trying to manually preserve whatever features that remained intact. He coughed and spat out dark blood that had rushed in from his nostrils. Jiyong stalked towards him slowly, like a lion playing with its dinner. Dongjoo’s vision was even hazier now, but his fight-or-flight instincts had kicked in full force, giving him the strength to turn over onto his stomach.
Just as he attempted to bring his arms and legs in to hoist himself up, Jiyong lowered his boot to the man’s ear, putting in just enough pressure to push his head against the pavement. Dongjoo let out a piercing groan. Placing more of his weight into that leg, Jiyong leaned down to get a little closer to his face. As Dongjoo’s exasperated breathing and whimpering for mercy got louder, Jiyong shushed him.
“You know… I expected more from you.” His tone was menacing. “I considered you a friend, really.” Dongjoo cried out, too terrified to even attempt to move. “America? Yeah, buddy?” Jiyong chuckled. “You and I both know that’s fucking bullshit. I just gave you chance after chance and you just continued to lie right to my fucking face.” Jiyong leaned forward and spat on the ground right by the man’s broken nose. “You want to know something? You really think the Yang brothers are going to protect you better than we can? That’s a riot. What did they tell you about me, huh? Who do you think we’ve been protecting you from? Huh?” Dongjoo only sobbed more, his body shaking as the “please, please, please”’s and “I’m so sorry”’s continued to flow from his mouth just as quickly as the blood ran from his nose. Jiyong sighed in frustration. “Don’t worry. I’m not going to kill you. No, that wouldn’t be right to do to a family man. Just know that I will never forget about this.” He lifted his boot and allowed the man to hoist himself up to his knees. Dongjoo coughed violently, simultaneously gasping for the air he’d been hoarding in his lungs.
Jiyong dug into his pocket and threw a handkerchief on the ground in front of him, along with some cash. Dongjoo flinched, recoiling his arms across his face before looking down to see the stitched piece of cloth and the paper bills. Trembling, he looked up to lock eyes with Jiyong, whose dark expression hadn’t changed for a second.
“Wipe yourself off and get that nose looked at. Don’t you go home to your wife and kid and let them see this pathetic sight.” Dongjoo only cried in response, to which Jiyong let out a sigh. “What? What are you still doing here? Go.”
He didn’t have to tell him twice. Dongjoo picked up the money, the handkerchief, and himself up off the ground and stumbled his bodyweight in the direction of the far parking lot. Jiyong waited for the sound of his whimpers to fade and be replaced by the sound of an engine before turning back towards Taehee. He approached the man and placed his hand on his shoulder once again. “All right. Let’s get the fuck out of here.”
“Jesus, he did all that just now?”
Taehee nodded at his partner before taking another swig of the beer in his hand.
“Damn, he’s really not playing around these days...” Wonhae replied, ensuring to keep his voice down, knowing that Jiyong wasn’t far down from them at the bar.
Five men: Gyechul, Taehee, Wonhae, Gwangbok, and Jiyong, all sat side by side. The place was a favorite spot of theirs, which they frequently visited after a long day. It was old, secluded in the outer edges of Seoul, and run by people they knew like family. No other bar could be safer for clientele such as themselves.
“Weeell, we all know fucking why.”
Taehee and Wonhae looked over at their partner on their end of the bar, Gyechul, who’d already had his fair share of alcohol for the night. He was staring up at the little box television set with his mouth agape, intently watching the news. “Look! Look look look, there she is now. Pfffft.” He mumbled and pointed up towards the screen. The local news was broadcasting a story about a cop who’d been shot in a “gang related incident” and had “barely made it out alive.”
Gyechul let out a chuckle, muffled through his teeth. “Hey, look everyone we’re in a gang.”
Taehee spoke up in a firm tone. “Gyechul. Enough…Be smart.”
The man turned from the TV to laugh in Taehee’s direction mockingly. “Be smart…pfffft. If I was smart that night I woulda jus killed that cop…but noooo I was following orders.” He waved his hands in the air as he lazily dragged out each word.
“You’re not fucking killing anyone.”
Taehee closed his eyes in a wince, knowing this was bound to happen. He turned to the right to see their boss staring across the bar right through the three of them to Gyechul. Everyone went quiet.
Gyechul chuckled again. “Pffff, whatever you say boss. You see this?!” He pointed to the TV which now showed an old mugshot of his, displaying him as a wanted criminal. “Now we have this to deal with…the fucking news is after me.” He slurred.
“There would have been even worse news if I let you have ‘cop killer’ thrown on your record. I did you a fucking favor.” Jiyong said coldly, silently refusing to look at the TV.
Gyechul stared his boss down. “Ya know what? Fuck you GD. Fuck you and your favors.” He mumbled with his finger pointed in Jiyong’s direction. He pushed himself up into a standing position, slightly swaying back and forth. Jiyong closed his eyes and took a deep, annoyed, breath.
“Gyechul, stop. All right? Let’s get you some water.” Taehee attempted to intervene again.
“Hey, hey, I’m fine all right? It’s him who’s got the fucking problem.” He pointed at Jiyong again before letting out a drunken laugh. He then dramatically gasped and stared out into space. “P-p-put the gun down! This-this is my final warning! … Bang! AH!!” He flailed his arms in the air, falling against the bar while gripping his leg, and bursting out laughing. Jiyong wasn’t the slightest bit amused. The second he stood up, so did the other three men.
“GD, it’s ok. He’s just drunk. He doesn’t know what the fuck he’s saying. We’ll take him somewhere to chill out.” Taehee and Gwangbok attempted to alleviate the situation while Wonhae grabbed his out of line partner by the shoulders.
“What? Do you think I look fucking worried?” Jiyong spat.
“Touchyyyyy.” Gyechul mused, poking his head around Wonhae’s to continue talking at Jiyong. “Ya know, I’ve never seen you like this over someone. Especially a fucking cop. What’s up with that?! Huh?” He yelled belligerently. Jiyong said nothing. He just stared at the bar while the other men continued to try to calm things down. But Gyechul wouldn’t listen. “You know…it’s almost like she’s that girl.”
Jiyong looked right at him.
“Gyechul, shut the fuck up!” Taehee yelled while Wonhae attempted to smack the man to shut up. But he persisted.
“Noooo, come on, you guys know the girl I mean. The one we all fucking know about but no one ever says anything about because GD will freak the fuck out on them.” He narrowed his eyes at Jiyong, who looked ready for slaughter. “It’s her isn’t it?” He chuckled. “She’s the only one that’ll make you so fucking soft like that.” He pointed to the TV. “Oh but…..” He grinned. “She doesn’t make all of you fucking soft.” He sneered before groping himself mockingly.
Jiyong was on his side of the bar in seconds, with his hands gripping his collar. Jiyong has always been a very stoic person, but right in that moment there was a raging fire in his eyes. The other three men nearly tackled them both to stop whatever was about to happen.
Taehee grabbed Jiyong and pulled him back while the other two men pulled Hyechul away. Jiyong’s chest heaved as he took a deep breath to steady himself. He took a second to close his eyes while he waited for Hyechul’s drunken slurs to pipe down. When they finally did, and it looked like their night at the bar had finally ended, Jiyong got up to leave.
“Hyechul.” He announced.
“Yeaah?” The man turned his head, barely able to maintain eye contact.
“You watch yourself.”
After arriving back at his private home, having had enough bullshit for one night, Jiyong poured him and Taehee both a glass of whiskey. Amongst his four major partners, Taehee was by far his closest and most trusted. He knew better than to push any further, in regards to Jiyong’s feelings, than just one simple question.
“You ok?”
“Yeah.” Jiyong muttered, taking a pull from his glass.
Taehee nodded his head and paused for a minute to sip from his own. “Well… How about some music?”
Jiyong grinned and pointed at him before springing up and pacing towards his record collection. “Yes. What’re you feeling?”
“Anything.”
Jiyong was suddenly as giddy as a child. He stuck his hands in his pants pockets, sticking his tongue out slightly and narrowing his eyes as he looked closely at every title. As he began to feel overwhelmed by the amount of choices, Hyechul’s words from earlier made his mind wander back.
He gently began to flip through one of the older stacks of records he’d gotten from his parents’ house. He smiled sadly as he browsed through classic American tunes from Dion, to Chuck Berry, Frankie Valli, and even the Righteous Brothers. Every album had unique memories attached, but they all had one thing in common.
As he flipped past a Frank Sinatra vinyl, a small 45 popped out and nearly hit the floor. Upon saving it and flipping the cover over, a small gasp escaped his lips. It was a 7” Elvis Presley record with “Love Me Tender” and “Any Way You Want Me.” He wasted no time in putting it on and letting one of his most cherished memories return to him.
“Man, I love Elvis.” Taehee chimed in as the song began.
“Me too.” Jiyong smiled as he swayed in place, staring at the cover. A warmth filled his chest as he read the small words that had been handwritten on the front in white marker.
Love me tender, love me true. All my dreams, fulfilled
For my darling, I love you. And I always will
As he traced his fingers around the small heart that had been drawn by the last word, he was hit with an insane idea. In one second, he’d wiped the smile from his face and restored his stoic demeanor to look at Taehee.
“We’re not going over business right now, but I need you to do something for me.”
Taehee sat up straight and alert.
“Get me the address for Jungbu Police Station.”

My Giorno Now is a fun au because if i go by in character actions, Bruno would probably be planning to marry Mil before one of his coworkers in passione was like “so u know u literally can’t do that right. u know ur being allowed by the higher ups to date her so we could use her against the Zunino family if shit gets dicey right. you know that” and bruno being bruno probably did to some extent but was ignoring it, because he, Mil and her cousin Marino hang out and watch crappy movies her brother sends her from america. or videogames. and he probably plays with Gio and pushes him on the swings.  So he’d go ‘i will stop seeing her because i may be a pawn but i will not harm that little family bc of someone having a power play’. Meanwhile Mil has been slowly [ha slowly] befriending Leone because there is literally one shul in naples and 200 jewish people. they’d have met. He was probably loudly encouraging her while she was doing her official conversion there while also raising Gio and also working customer service jobs. He takes pics of EVERYTHING the day she goes before her biet din and everything. He is also that friend that physically picks her up and goes “BEHOLD, MY COUSIN” when she comes out and gets water all over his nice clothes bc drying hair? what dying hair? he has a friend to hug. Did he get the relation thing though Abraham and Sarah right? he doesn’t know, his bar mitzvah was years ago. his mom will correct him later. He’s also the one sitting there going “ok here’s how to do the thing” re: her bat mitzvah and brings The Good Coffee in american amounts to their study sessions. He basically is the summary of “i want to make Italy, or at least Naples, a safer and better place to live.” and “Mil Zinetti is my best friend”. And like, police academy is 4 years at least, depending on what kind of cop he’s going for. i’m assuming local so thus-- 4 years.  He and Mil have coffee in the mornings before heading to class/work. He comes over and watches disney movies with her and Gio to practice his english. Has to be able to talk to tourists, after all. Walks Gio home from school when he has time and none of Mil’s family can get him and she’s working.  There are at least 4 pictures Gio drew in crayon of Leone, himself, Mil and Bruno all in one thing with a smily sun. Leone hasn’t met Bruno yet and likewise Bruno hasn’t met Leone but the’ve heard about each other. Their take on one another from what Mil has said is “good man, nice guy” When Bruno stops seeing Mil, she still visits his father and makes sure he’s ok and doing good because her cousin Antonio worked with him and worries.  She gets sad but has to keep a smile on for Gio bc he is a smol. Leone kinda steps up in the hanging out area and honestly probably had a crush going already. They date through his academy training and through his first year as a cop.  When he starts taking bribes he feels terrible to some extent and confesses to Mil about it and is kinda surprised when she goes “yeah i figured. it’s alright, you’re still a good man”. When shit gets real and his partner is shot, the only thing Mil gets upset about is that he hadn’t simply shot the criminal in the head and done his best to save his partner, and failing that--say it went bad and not have brought the guy in, in pieces or not. Regardless of the fact that he has that support, his career is ruined and one of his best friends killed because he was willing to bow to corruption.  Gio asks, like two weeks later, why Leone isn’t visiting anymore-- they have new videos to watch. Mil tells him Leone is just very busy right now, but he’ll be around later.  Meanwhile Leone is... well Bruno finds and recruits him, not knowing he was THAT leone till later. Leone also didn’t think it was that bruno bc what fucking chances. They get close working together and then slowly accumulating the small gaggle of literal children that work for Bruno. Somewhere in here they start falling for one another because bisexual awakenings are fun and also the qualities Mil liked in them they like in each other.  When the canon times roll around, Gio’s stand has awakened--whichever cousin that was supposed to come get him wasn’t paying attention and kept walking bc they didn’t notice the man. Why is his hero still a random gangster? Because Gio was studiously kept the fuck out of the family buisness that’s why. They’ll bring him in at 16, if he wants they said. Mil told them she’d tell him then, she said. No promises she’d said. Fair, now have some manacotti they had said.  The guy doesn’t have to stop anything at home this time, but probably has to glare down some bullies because Gio is a soft spoken boy and grew up gardening with mom on her days off. he knows she is busy and she goes to the school when she can but you can only go in so many times before they think you’re just making noise and she only has so much time she can take from work. Mil notices the guy skulking around, though and finds out about the whole thing if only bc the guy doesn’t wanna make the Zunino’s think something is Off.  Gio’s hair change is probably Golden Experience related still, but most likely he’s probably got more colors in there than just blond. He’d also probably go by a different name than Giorno Giovanna--he’s already Giorno Zinetti, and none of his extended family would recommend using his real name. Because they assume he wants to keep being a good jewish boy at home and not drag his mother into things. Blame Marino. Marino is the cause of most problems. For example, he has been combing naples to fist fight Leone and/or Bruno since shit happened. because he’s kinda bitter that his homie bounced and his cousin had to cry over them more than once.  Gio keeps Giovanna as a last name for Cover and i’ll bs a first name for him that will literally only be used by people outside Bruno’s lil gang.  Bruno doesn’t recognize him immediatly because it’s been literal years and he’s grown since then. Does about the time leone goes “what in the name of fuck are you doing here, kid” and Gio does his level fucking best not to go “idk what in the name of fuck are YOU doing here”. because thats what Mil’s response would be and honestly he has vaguely better snark restraint than his mom. if only just.  the arc still happens but it’s still like just a long, shitty, unbelieveably stressful week of stuff. Gio taking shit over is going to be a lot of “shhh, no nonni, i am not doing this for u” and also bruno and leone being in the hospital waking up to Mil asleep in a chair across from them with the standard ‘i am asleep now but when i wake up there Will Be Words’ look.  and then more emotions!! because i say so
though no matter where i go with it the idea of Leone trying very hard to pull the deadpan dad joke card but falling apart half way through the delivery because Mil and Bruno looked at him like ‘we will compound this, we are ready’ and he thought of whatever dumbass shit would come out of Bruno’s mouth and laughed half way through his own joke.  Bruno has to get used to all the jewish memes though. That’s the real torture of this au. Balancing dad jokes and the [holds up styrafoam] “i would say this was matzah but it has flavor”
i just wanted to ramble bc its a cute au that i need to write and i’ll be on my happy lil au boat by myself if no one else wants to come with

November 15, 2012
I have wanted to write about this night since it happened, but yet here I am, almost 5 years later trying to figure out where to even begin. To protect myself from purging my emotions all at once, I have had to write this bit by bit. I haven’t allowed myself to think deeply about that night, let alone write about every detail. Part of me feels like I have put it off for so long because in a way, once I write it, reality will painfully set in even more. Another part of me feels like once I let it all out, I will finally get rid of this anchor sitting on my chest. I guess I will find out as I type and at this moment, i’m at a loss for words.
Something about that day, from the moment I woke up, didn’t feel right.. I should have been ecstatic because I was just getting ready to sign a lease for a beautiful townhouse with my friend but everything about the day just felt eery. The weather, my mood, everything just felt gray and I couldn’t put my finger on what it was causing me to feel this way. Driving home, I called my mom briefly and talked to her about the plans for the townhouse. At the time, I was already dealing with depression and happened to be seeing a counselor the following day in harrisonburg. So it made sense to also finalize everything with the townhouse since it was right down the road. Mom and I had a whole day planned out - go to my appointment, finalize the lease, and then a chipotle date since mom had never been. I was so excited because we never got to spend this kind of time together due to her job. Little did I know that my world was about to be completely rocked in a matter of 8 hours. The oncoming hours, are moments that I will always regret for the rest of my life. I felt depressed and all I wanted to do was get in bed and sulk in my emotions. At the time, I was taking Xanax (something I personally don’t recommend) because I just wanted to go to sleep and forget about everything. Mom had just gotten home from work and was getting ready to start her nightly ritual - cook me something for dinner, finish her charting from patients she saw that day, and watch a movie. She came upstairs to say hello and love on me per usual but I just pushed her away. I told her I just wanted another xanax so I could go to sleep. She tried cuddling up to me and again, I was just cold and distant. After a few minutes she got up and told me to come downstairs to watch a movie if I wanted, then left my room. If only I knew that was the last time I would get to talk to my mom, cuddle with her, see her beaming smile, and feel her unconditional love, I would have done it all so differently. But thats the shitty thing about life, you take for granted the most important moments and then its too late.
Mom went downstairs to finish her charting and a few minutes later my boyfriend at the time arrived and came upstairs to my room. One of the first things he said to me was that my mom was acting strange and didn’t speak to him much which was the complete opposite from her normal loving self. I didn’t really think much of it at the time because I literally just saw her moments before, so I completely ignored it.
The following events are honestly somewhat of a blur so bare with me if there are little gaps. I don’t know how to explain where my brain went during everything. I just know it all happened so quickly and oddly at the same time it was like I was watching my entire world fall apart in slow motion. We were getting ready to leave when I heard a huge crash. It reminded me of the time my moms beautiful picture hung up in the kitchen came shattering down to the floor. The only difference between both times is that when I yelled for mom, I didn’t get a response this time. My heart immediately started racing and I bolted to go run downstairs. That’s when I got to the top of the stairs and saw her laying face down on our kitchen floor. Her phone was thrown half way across the room, there was glass everywhere from a drink she was holding, and then I saw blood start to appear. I just remember screaming “MOM” and running down the steps. By the time I got to the bottom of the steps, there was a pool of blood filling so quickly and at the time, I didn’t even realize where it was coming from or what had happened. I started shaking her gently to see if she would wake up and again, no response. Her breathing was so strange, I still to this day can’t describe it. I started screaming at my boyfriend to find my phone and call 911 and of course, for whatever reason, my phone would not connect to 911. We finally were able to call on his phone and within minutes a cop was at my house. I just remember running outside screaming at the cop. I don’t even recollect what i was saying, I just know she kept telling me to calm down and tell her what happened while she followed me inside. As soon as she saw my mom she immediately began asking me if my mom was on blood thinners and a number of questions. Dad was not home but I had already called him at this point and then began calling everyone else I could think of that needed to know. The next few moments are honestly a complete blur to me, I just know my dad and the ambulance arrived at the same time. There was so many people, so many flashing lights and sirens, so many questions projected at me, all at once. I overheard one medic say they wanted to try to land Pegasus in our back yard, heard another say her eyes showed signs of a stroke. The next thing I know they’re landing the helicopter on 262 and mom was being flown to UVA.
As we’re in the car on the way to the hospital, I honestly thought she was going to be fine. I don’t know why I thought that considering the state she was in. When we arrived, we were immediately escorted into a “family room” and that’s when I knew something wasn’t right. I remember thinking why aren’t we being taken to her room? Where is my mom at? What the f*** is going on? The room just felt cold, not as in temperature cold, but the feeling it gave. It was just plain, with tissues on every single table. Nothing about that room gave me a good feeling and all I wanted was to get out and find my mother immediately.
That’s when the doctor walked in…I could tell by the pained look on his face that something really was not right. He then sat down next to dad and I and began telling us that mom must have had a fall that caused severe, irreversible brain trauma and that there was nothing they could do for her. I don’t remember anyone else’s reaction in the room and honestly its probably better that way. I do recall practically attacking him with so many crazy, ridiculous questions like i was some doctor. Honestly I wish I could apologize for some of the stupid shit I said but in those moments I had no control over my reactions. For instance, I asked him if they could drill a hole in her head to relieve pressure/blood but then he had to explain just how severe the trauma was, and how drilling a hole would only make it worse. My dumb self even began to ask if he could do a transplant but then thats when common sense kicked in and I realized how stupid I sounded and shut up (and btw, of course I know you cannot do that).
Part of my brain completely shut off any memory of what happened when they took us to her room. The parts I do recall are just of me running frantically back and forth between her room and the hallway. I couldn’t handle seeing her like that so I’d bolt out the room, just to turn right around and come back because I didn’t want to leave her side. Mom was always the one taking care of us, so knowing I couldn’t do a damn thing to help her was and is still the most helpless feelings in the world.
The doctors began talking about the decisions and plans we needed to make because time was a factor. If we wanted to donate her organs, we would need to pull her off life support within the next few hours. If we didn’t want to donate, we could keep her on life support but that was the only thing keeping her alive. My mom never wanted to live life if she couldn’t do what she loved and help everyone around her. Like I mentioned before, she was always the one providing care, and she never wanted anyone to have to care for her. To be on life support and have everyone taking care of her was something she did not want. Her and dad apparently had a conversation about if something were to happen and he ultimately made the decision to honor her wish by choosing to donate her organs. She without a doubt was the most selfless human beings I have ever met and I’m so glad I could help chose to let her “give back” one last time by donating.
The following day, November 16, 2012, was when she was officially pronounced dead. For me though, I will always consider the 15th the day she really left us. Dad and I were already home during the time she passed and we believe she decided to give us one last “goodbye”. Dad was downstairs when he heard someone open and close the door to let my dog in. When he went in the living room to see who it was, no one was there. I, at the time, was trying to sleep and drown out everything that just occurred when I had the strangest dream. I dreamt dad and I were standing in some field, talking to mom, except we couldn’t physically see her. I just remember her saying “I’m okay honey, I love you so much”  over and over. The harsh reality of course would set in the moment I woke up.
To this day, we do not know what made her fall the way she did. She was only on the second step heading upstairs when she fell. The doctors say that she practically did a head dive into the floor and more than likely she had suffered from an aneurysm or a stroke before the fall. Unfortunately, we will never know exactly what happened because the autopsy wasn’t able to determine due to the severity of brain damage. Except, I know for a fact that if my mom was conscious or able, she would have attempted to catch herself. That is something I am still trying to find peace in.
To say the past 5 years have been hard, would be an understatement. Although, I can honestly say I am finally happy with where I am in life now. Everyday I try to remind myself of what my mom would want and how I can strive to be just like her. She would want me to be happy and successful in whatever I am passionate about. It may have taken going to hell and back but again, I am finally where I need to be in life and that is all that matters. I still have a ways to go and more growing to do but honestly, I am proud of how far I have come. Everything I do is for you, Mom.

Dont Put All Your Trust is D&DB part 1
(This talks about some things from 7.05, which can also apply to 7.06. Theres not blatant spoilers for the episode inside, just a rant.)
Honestly, I have so many feels about how D & DB have been handling the plot once they went off book (and I haven't even read the books!! its just so obvious because the tone of the show shifted) - how many characters they have twisted, how much blatant fanservice has been happening, and how "Hollywood" everything has felt since S6. The dialogue is worse, the decisions are worse. It feels like ASOIAF fanfiction.
Honestly, I would wait more years for TWOW if it meant George being in control of the show. We need his writing back. We really do. Why is he not more worried about this? (oh, probably because he's cackling inside when everyone rushes to buy the books to see the better story. Fuck - what if thats why D&DB are doing this? To save the books from being spoiled? god fucking dammit...What if this is the only ending we'll get...*crisis engaged*)
But, I have always known and realized, that the show and the books are two totally separate entities. (which is a shame since so many book fans have adopted the series to at least give them an ending, on the off chance asoiaf is never finished)
Last year, we screamed about how OOC Arya was when she left the Faceless Men. We were so sure she was a doppleganger because "THATS NOT ARYA". We hated the terminator scene. We realized Dany is not the pure innocent savior she was built up to be in the seasons before. Good guys started winning. Bad guys started losing. This was not the world GRRM created. It didnt feel like Game of Thrones.
Remember when Mythbusters was in its first seasons? Good, quality fun and nerdy content. And remember how when Mythbusters got more money and more popular, and they realized people liked explosions? Every episode then became "HOW BIG CAN WE MAKE THIS EXPLOSION, GUYS? TUNE IN AFTER THESE COMMERCIALS TO FIND OUT."
HBO has stopped with the intriguing character dialogue, the quiet build up of tension to replace it with bigger explosions, more Dragons, and more shock value to keep them in the water cooler conversation Monday morning. (less sex though...) This is such a cop out for fans of the gritty, realistic, trope defying books. So much of the dialogue is predictable. Less of it witty. The vocabulary more modern.
( I even hate how they just reuse the same lines over and over and fans gush in their pants screaming PARALLELS and THIS IS IMPORTANT when I feel like its just them trying to make flashy writing as a meta throwback. I use a lot of the same cliches and phrases over and over IRL because thats just my brain works. Its like they dont know how to write separate character voices anymore and everyone in Westoros is just one hivemind. But this rant belongs in Part 2)
So, I wish I had the demographic numbers, of how many fans have read the books, or who analyze the show, or even remember all the characters names. TV always has to cater to the common denominator. Thats why shows often have such obvious exposition in dialogue which feels condescending, things that might seem obvious to one, might be missed over by a casual viewer. They have to cater to the blue collar casual viewer as well as the Mensa fanatic.
Every ship, theory and spec has merit. The reasons Jonerys shippers have are real, just as Jonsa shippers are valid. Until the books are finished we will only be able to speculate what all the foreshadowing in asoiaf is for.
But what is weird with the show is how many fans agree that the characters are OOC and the plot holes are unforgivable.
Everyone is putting so much faith into HBO, but they are not GRRM. They don't know his future plans because EVEN HE doesn't know his future plans. If you love the books, then love the books. If you love the show, then love the show. They are not one in the same. Seasons 7 & 8 are not books 6 & 7.
HBO is creating a TV show to garner revenue, to sell subscriptions, to win awards, to make entertainment. They are catering to TV audiences. I hate Moffat because he ruined my other favorite show by putting in blatant fanservice, for butchering characters, for going too meta and, to take a quote from the mooch, "trying to suck his own cock." I hope D & DB and HBO wont do that to Westeros, but lets be honest, theres no reason not too.
Arya vs Sansa is "tension". Arya is an audience surrogate for the people who dont like Sansa or dont trust her. I promise you, when they were writing they were like "oh, its not very dark and GoT-y to have everything hunky dory in Winterfell once the starks are reunited. How can we fix that? UNNECESSARY DRAMA AND TENSION. Lets make Arya this badass and keep the suspension up that Sansa is only after power." This is only tension and drama for a week to week basis. I honestly dont see how this is important for the entire story, but Ill have to wait and see how it plays out.
The Wight Hunters? Pure TV fanservice. "Lets bring all of favs together in a rag tag team and have people worry about their safety." Jon has others in Castle Black in the books. Dany could have gone up and gotten a wight on her dragon and been done with it. This is literally, unequivocally 100% TV magic - because in TV logic, every season needs 1-2 epic action scenes and battles. Boring table top meetings lose viewers. (vomit)
"Its HBO. Its Game of Thrones. We need nudity and sex and gore! Thats what the people expect!"
No. You. Dont. Not if youre trying to create an amazing story - which was GRRMs whole point if writing asoiaf to begin with. He wanted to create a story that could not have been done on screen.
